GRETA INTRODUCING HERSELF AS A FRIEND OF IMPULSE’S ;-;
I know it’s because Judy is clearly a Flash Fam member, but also Greta and Bart were two of the closest members of Young Justice. And. Please, DC, once Greta is free and we reunite Judy with her parents, can we also reunite Greta with Bart? They were besties, I’m glad this comic remembers it.

On the one hand hhhhhhhh so many characters, on the other... maybe Rick will get to be a big brother to that Hourkid, and also we brought back Sparky for the Blue Beetles? But on the other other hand... Airwave was used in Green Lantern comics recently he's in modern DC continuity he didn't need to be brought back! Geoff? GEOFF?!!

Stargirl: The Lost Children isn't bad yet, Todd Nauck is great as always, but idk that leaves me a little bitter and angry. There are so many sidekicks/young heroes in DC that are still in limbo, but Jones is coming up with a whole bunch of new characters and i'm willing to bet Tim's spleen that almost all of them will be forgotten after and the other writers will not touch them.
Anita and Slobo. Koryak, Lorena and Debbie Perkins. Charlie, Wendy and Kitrina. Linda and Ariela. Cir-El and Chris. Sin. Lita Milton and normal Vanessa (and not the nightmare OOC who was in Rebirth). Amy Allen. Tommy Bronson. Helen Jordan (at least her uncle got back *sigh*). Toni Monetti. Sasha, Jason's sidekick in his crazy ginger villain era. Warlock's Daugther. Anima. Power Boy. Hell, even Mia could be brought back through this series. And thus get unique interactions between her and Emiko. There are so many comebacks planned in the Arrows miniseries that there simply won't be place for new relationships to form. We'll be fucking lucky if Lian and Roy's reunion gets TWO pages.
Maybe few modern readers know about all these characters. But each of them has at least a dozen people from all over the globe who still remember them and emotionally invested.

Out this week: Stargirl: The Lost Children #1 (DC, $3.99):
Geoff Johns and Todd Nauck team up once again for another tale featuring Stargirl. This one spins out of last week’s The New Golden Age one-shot as Stargirl and Red Arrow search for all those missing teenage sidekick heroes from the Golden Age of comics (some of whom never really existed until recently).
See what else is arriving in comic shops this week.
