The Coffee Shop Where We Met
Lee Felix x Reader - College and Soulmate AU Part 1??
Type - Fluff / realistic life
Warnings - um, idk?? I might have cussed but I can’t remember
Summary - "You!” I yelled, staring wide eyes at the boy who sat in front of me with a matching bruise on his face. “yeah, me.” His voice was full of nervousness as he chuckled and looked down, his hand ruffling the hair on the back of his head. “Why didn’t you tell me?!” “I thought you wouldn’t like me if you knew.”
My finger skimmed over the words on the papers as I read over the recipe. It was for a simple vanilla cherry cake, one that I’d only ever made once or twice before. I was confident that this time I could display it. I looked up to see how dark it’s gotten and to listen to the rain for a second. There were only a few warm lights that barley lit up the small campus bakery that I worked at.
“Are you okay with locking up tonight? I can stay if you need me to.” My friend, and boss, Irene asked. The suddenness of her voice made me turn my head towards her.
“Yeah, I got it. Go, I can see you’re needed at home.” I smiled at her, pointing at the new bruises on her skin, and she smiled back before making her way to the door. She had gotten a call from her significant other just a few minutes ago explaining why they both had so many bruises. This soulmate link was a weird one but at least it could be helpful at times. Just as she got to the door, a boy fell inside.
“Are you open?” He asked frantically. His was soaked to the bone and looked exhausted.
“Yeah, come in.” Even if it was a small lie, I couldn’t shove him back out in the rain. My response got me a light glare from Irene. “It’s okay, I can handle this. Go home.” I told her while gesturing to the door. She sighed and left. Now it was only me and the boy. He placed his bag down at a table close to where I stood and took out his computer. With out him even asking, I tossed a hand towel at him. He gently thanked me and began to dry it off, praying that it still worked.
“So, what are you doing out so late?” I asked while turning to look at my timer for the cake.
“I had an extra practice for dance but it went way longer then I thought it would.” I hummed to show I was listening while grabbing the cake from the oven and turning off the timer that was about to go off. “Wow, that smells amazing.” He mumbled while looking to me.
“Thanks, I hope it tastes as good as it smells.”
“I’m sure it does.” After taking it out of the pan I let it cool.
“So, what’s your name?” I asked. “I’m (Y/n).”
“I’m Felix, a transfer student from Sydney Australia.”
“Oh, cool. I’m from America.” His eyebrow raised a little as he looked at me. “I transferred a year or so back.” I switched from Korean to English and so did he. For a second the conversation dipped as I grabbed a heart shaped cutter. After cutting the cake into three layers, I pressed the cutter into them.
“Here, try this.” I said while handing him a small piece of the edge that I cut off. He gratefully took it and popped it into his mouth. There was a second where I held my breath before his eyes lit up.
“That’s amazing!” I also took a bite and let out a sigh of relief.
“Oh thank God. I was so worried I didn’t do something right, these instructions are so confusing.”
“Can I see them?” With a nod of my head, I handed the old paper over then looked out side again. The rain seem to be letting up but it was still pouring too hard for us to be able to leave with our umbrellas.
“By the time the cake is finished, the storm should have passed. We can leave then.”
“So I’m going to take a stab in the dark and say you’re not actually open right now?” He joked around.
“Your guess is correct, but I couldn’t just leave you out in the rain.”
“Well, you’re very sweet. I have a feeling that other girl would have gladly put me back out.”
“Probably.” For the rest of the storm we talked and giggled. It felt like only a few minutes that we’d been talking but when I looked outside, it was completely dark and the rain had stopped. Looking back down to the cake, I smiled slightly and grabbed a cake knife to cut and try it. I handed him a slice after cutting the whole thing. He didn’t seem to think I’d give it to him judging by the look on his face.
“Take it, it’s on me, tell me how it is.”
“No, I can’t just take it. Let me pay!”
“Seriously, just take the cake, it’s small and you had a bad day. It’s the least I could do.” I urged him to take a bite. With a little more convincing, he did and his face melted into a content smile as he hummed while bitting onto his fork.
“You’re amazing at baking.”
“Thanks, but you helped a bit too.”
“I just tried the icing when you finished.” I giggled and shrugged my shoulders.
“I need to make sure everything is off and locked up, so I guess I’ll see you around.” My smile fell a little while talking. I didn’t want to stop talking with him but the night was quickly approaching and I knew I couldn’t stay in my safe heaven with this boy forever.
“Oh, right. When do you work tomorrow? I’ll see if I can swing by and grab something.” He had these little sparkles in his eyes that threw off my heart beat and breathing.
“I work two shifts tomorrow, five to nine in the morning and afternoon.”
“I’ll see you tomorrow then. It was nice meeting you and thank you for the cake!” He called out while opening the door. I waved and watched him walk into the night before letting out a sigh. My hand went to my heart and I could feel just how hard it was beating. This strange boy really knew how to effect me.
The next day he came in almost right when we opened. His hair was still a mess and he could barley keep his eyes open. He wore a soft blue hoodie that looked to be a little big and gave him the cutest sweater paws.
“Good morning.” I sang quietly as he stumbled to the counter, his eyes barley open.
“Morning, can I get a coffee?”
“Sure.” The word was combined with an airy giggle as I turned to grab him a cup of black coffee.
“What do you like in it?”
“Creamer and lots of sugar.” After mixing everything in, I handed him the drink and watched as he grabbed it with his sweater covered hands and took a big sip. A soft smile covered his lips as he mumbled a tiny ‘perfect’ into the drink. For a few minutes we stood near each other and talked softly. Despite the level we were talking at, his voice seemed to give me more energy then any amount of caffeine could. It was a nice way to wake up. Our time together was cut short when it started to get a little past six. Students who had morning classes pilled in, all wanting a strong cup of coffee or a pastry to get them through their first block. Reluctantly I said bye to Felix and tended to the costumers. While grabbing a sandwich for someone, I accidentally banged my knee against the counter. I had to bite my tongue to not cuss and/or cry. Looking down, I noticed that both of my knees were covered in bruises. All I could do was let out a sigh and hope my soulmate was okay.
Felix, who had left by now, was sitting in his first block. He was just talking with some of his friends but his mind never fully left the tiny cafe. He wanted this block to be over so he could go get something to eat and talk more with me. As he was thinking, a sharp pain spread through his knee, making him wince. The boy looked down and noticed his knees were all banged up from his practice last night. A small pout covered his lips as he wondered if his soulmate was okay with having his bruises on their body.

Stray Kids React to Angel Dealing with A Nightmare
A/N: Since it’s close to Halooweeeeeeen Time, I figured I’d make a little reaction how they’d deal with her....overreactions to certain things? I guess this is basically how they find and deal with her nightmare issue until she’s able to go back to sleep. Sorry if it’s not exactly how you’d see it. Gifs are not mine nor are they ever
Woojin:
Tumblr media
Hearing the movement from Angel’s room, Woojin couldn’t help glancing around at the rest of the boys in his own bedroom. It was the dead of the night, what could have made her wake up so suddenly? Woojin stepped out from his bedroom and looked up just as a figure moved into the kitchen. “Angel?” He asked softly, watching the woman’s body stiffen at his voice.      She stared at him like a deer caught in headlights, tear streaks on her cheeks. He frowned then and immediately stepped toward her to give her a hug, hoping maybe that would help her. She clung to him and whimpered softly, ignoring the voice in her head telling her to leave him alone and let him go back to sleep. “I’m s-sorry....it shouldn’t scare me so much....” She whispered.     He hugged her tighter and rested his chin on top of her head, letting her ramble to herself and him for a few moments before glancing down at her. “Do you want me to stay with you for a little while until you sleep?” He asked her, ignoring everything else she was saying.     She shook her head while pursing her lips, not daring to speak. The two then parted ways for the night with Woojin promising her he’d be there for her when she woke up. Just in case something else happened in her dreams.
Chan:
Tumblr media
Screeching is what woke the kangaroo from his small nap. He immediately jumped to action and rushed towards the woman thrashing in her bed. He’d answer questions later; at the moment he just needed to get to the redhead and calm her down from her fit. She woke up in a sweat, chest heaving in her fear while she stared around the room wide eyed. Chan sat on the bed beside her, watching her worriedly as she took in her surroundings, gaining consciousness slowly but surely.     When she was able to know what was going on, he rested a hand on her shoulder gently and stared her in the eyes. “Skylar.....do you remember me? Do you know who I am?” He asked calmly, watching her movements carefully as she took in his ruffled appearance.     She nodded her head without hesitation and collapsed against his frame, his arms immediately caging her against his chest as she wept in his shoulder. Whatever had scared her certainly seemed to bring itself into the real world as he held her and stroked her hair, quietly soothing her with his voice until she wasn’t a complete mess. The two then fell asleep together on her bed, Chan’s arms wrapped around her like a safety blanket while she buried her face in his collarbone, gentle snores coming from her minutes later.
Minho:
Tumblr media
He just wanted a cup of water. He didn’t expect to hear sniffling out on the couch. And he definitely didn’t expect it to be the redhead who was always taking care of everyone. “Angel-Noona, what’s wrong?” He asked softly, hoping not to wake the others.     She stared at him wide eyed, tears running down her face nonstop. “M-Minho....d-did I wake you? I-I’m so-orry.” She stuttered over her words, hiccupping at some point as she curled tighter into herself on the couch.     At hearing how broken she sounded he sat down beside her awkwardly and rested his arm on the back of the couch. “Don’t be sorry. You’re allowed to cry when you need to. None of us will judge. Do you want to talk about it?” He asked her, hoping the talk would help calm her down enough to fall back asleep.      She shook her head and rested it on his shoulder. “J-just stay here for a minute with me? Please? I ca-can’t be alone right now...” She whispered, eyes closing in fear as she gripped her head like she was trying to hold it together.     He stayed with her that night on the couch, and when the boy tried teasing him about it the next morning, he just smacked them away with the pillow underneath his head. Somehow in the middle of the night he’d managed to fall back on the couch to use the pillow, and Angel tangled herself up on top of him, head on his chest and clutching his shirt like a lifeline.
Changbin:
Tumblr media
Seeing her trembling figure Changbin had no idea what to do. He watched her for a moment while she tossed and turned before finally gaining courage to walk over to her bed for a minute or so. He gently touched her shoulder, shaking it lightly. “Noona...Noooooona?” He called her quietly.     She bolted up in bed in a cold seat, eyes wide and panting heavily. Changbin had to jump back a foot in order to stay away from her swinging. “Ch-Changbin! OH I’m sorry.” She gasped when she realized who it was.     He frowned at her for a moment before sitting down beside her. “Noona what’s wrong? Why are you so frightened?” He asked her.     She just shook her head and gave a tight lipped smile. “Ah, sorry. I just watched a horror movie earlier, scared me half to death. Don’t worry about me and just get some rest. I’ll be alright.” She told him while throwing the blankets off her body, swinging her legs to the side of her bed and standing up quickly.     He shuffled his feet a moment, taking in her appearance before nodding his head finally. “If you’re positive you’re okay Noona I’ll leave you alone....but can I get you something to drink? You should stay in bed.” He told her softly, pushing on her shoulders to get her back to bed.     She sighed and gave a small nod of her head. “I can do it myself Changbin....but if you insist I won’t stop you.....Wanna get the salt while you’re out there?” She wondered a little with a tilt of her head.     He shook his head at her. “You are not drawing a salt circle around your bed. If you’re that scared go get Chan or something.” He told her while pointing a finger at her.     She pouted but nodded her head. “Fine....just some water then.” She grumbled, sticking her tongue out at the boy.
Hyunjin:
Tumblr media
A thud is what got Hyunjin out of his bed in fear. Looking over to see what it was, he spotted Angel on the floor rubbing her arm in slight pain. He rushed to help her up off the ground and back on her bed where he then sat beside her and stared at her worriedly. “Noona what happened?” He asked worriedly, seeing her eyes puffy and red from crying in her sleep.     She simply shook her head and frowned. “N-Nothing Hyunjin, just stay with me a minute.” She whimpered, lifting her legs up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them as a safety net.     He sat beside her for a few minutes then, taking in her frightened appearance. She looked like she’d fought toughest demons in her sleep and couldn’t stop the feeling of terror ripping through his being. The next day he’d have to talk to Chan about her nightmare, hopefully it as a one time thing and not a regular occurrence, otherwise she’d need permanent sleeping arrangements with someone to keep an eye on her. She leaned against his arm and rested her head on his shoulder, tears slipping from her eyes. “Sorry I woke you up.” She whispered, hoping she’d be quiet enough no one else would hear.     He just wrapped an arm around her and held on until she was sound asleep again.
Jisung:
Tumblr media
If someone were to ask who he was doing up when she had her nightmare, he would’ve just said he was getting a glass of water. Though if he needed to be 100% honest, he was finishing up a song he wanted to produce for the new album coming out. He could never turn off his laptop without having something finished, or at least further along than when he started it that day. Seeing Angel rocking back and forth on the couch in a ball got him rushing to her in a matter of milliseconds. “Noona?!” He yelped in fear, crouching in front of her as she stared into the distance mumbling things under her breath.     She finally looked at him and rubbed her eyes, wondering if they were playing ticks on her. “Oh....hey Jisungie…” She mumbled when he was still in front of her.     He pulled her arms away from her legs and immediately took her into a hug, ignoring everything else in the world. “What happened? Why’re you so scared?” He asked her softly.     She clung to his shit and shook her head. “N-Nothing worth mentioning now that you’re here. I just want to sleep....” She whimpered holding her head.     The teen immediately rushed to get the leader, knowing he should’ve still been up at this time of night. Angel was then given over to Chan who took her into his room for the night, grateful smile thrown at Jisung and a clap to the shoulder. “Good job man. You calmed her down enough.” He told him appreciatively.
Felix:
Tumblr media
If he’d have known watching horror movies with her was a bad idea and that she might’ve gotten a nightmare from it, he never would’ve mentioned it. He just assumed because she enjoyed Halloweens o much, she would’ve loved Halloween movies just as well. He was in for a rude awakening when he woke up with the redhead whimpering and gripping at his shirt like she was falling off something high up. “No....noo…..nonononoo….” She continuously whimpered, squirming on the couch next to him.     He sat up quickly, earning a yelp from her as she fell off the couch, keeping a hold of his shirt. He almost fell on top of her from the sudden yank on his shirt. She then woke with a stared, eyes wide and a silent scream on her lips. He stared at her completely terrified of what to do next. “Angel-Noona?!” He yelped, watching her notice and react to her surroundings.     She looked over at him. “F-Felix?” ”What happened?” He asked softly, grabbing her hand and picking her up.     She smacked his arm then and hid her face in her arms. “You. You happened you Asshat!” She yelled at him.     He chuckled a little and hugged her to him. “I know I know. Sorry. No more horror movies for you.” He responded
Seungmin:
Tumblr media
If he had to figure out WHY it was he woke up that night, he’d most likely pin it on the bathroom break he needed in the middle of the night. Luckily for that mishap, he’d found Angel already in the bathroom, throwing up into the toilet. He awkwardly glanced around him before standing behind her, holding back her hair. When she was finished she looked up at him, tears in her eyes. “Thanks Seungminnie. I’m almost done. That haunted house did not sit well with me.” She groaned out, resting her head on her arm still on he toilet.      He sat down in the bathroom beside her and tilted his head. “You really don’t like those kinds of things? But you love Halloween....” He frowned at her half admittance.     She shrugged her shoulders. “Not really....I don’t like haunted house, haunted anythings, and no scary movies. The best I can do is like those ghost shows...and even then that’s pushing it.” She mumbled as she finally sat back from the toilet.     For the next hour or so they two then sat in the bathroom to talk.
Jeongin:
Tumblr media
At the sudden feel of bedsheets moving around him, Jeongin woke up to see familiar red hair flopping on the pillow beside him. A worried frown graced his face as she curled into a ball and hid in his shoulder. “Noona what happened?” He asked gently, hearing her sniffles.     She shook her head and wiped her eyes. “Nothing Jeonginnie, just needed to stay with someone for a little bit.” She responded even quieter.     He nodded his head after she spoke and hugged her frame, letting her cry into his shoulder silently for a little while. It was when she’d finally quieted down and stopped shaking in his arms that he glanced at the clock. “Um Noona...I know you don’t want to be like Chan-Hyung...but it’s 2 in the morning and I need to go to school later.” He told her softly.     When she didn’t answer he looked down at her to see her staring at him with the biggest pout ever. “You did not just compare to Channie….” She grumbled at him to which he snickered and nodded his head. “But it’s true! You guys are like opposite and similar at the same time!”     She sighed. “Jeongin you’re not saying-” “No! You’re just mama and he’s just papa.”

Making Out With Lee Felix
(Requested - yes - requests are open)
Making out with Felix Lee
oh boy, this is going to be fun to write
he is such a meme boy and I feel like it’ll translate into everything he does
including making out
most make out sessions start from tickle wars
that he starts cause he’s bored
you’ll be screaming and laughing under him
and he thinks you’re so cute that he can’t help but want to kiss you
so he does
it shocks you at first but you melt into it
Felix is a lot like Chris in a sense where he’d like you on his lap
so he’d grab your waist and pull you up from the ground and onto his thighs
does all this with out breaking the kiss
and you’re like ‘boi???what’ cause he’s really fricking strong??
he just giggles against your lips
holds you closer
whispers praises to you when your lips fall apart
“You’re amazing baby”
or
“I love you so much”
are very common phrases you get to hear
he’d trail little kisses up and down your neck while smiling
these kinda make out sessions normally get interrupted by one of his members
Jeongin is really loud if he walks in on it
the other very rare kinda of make out session is when he’s on a low
nothing feels like it’s going right for him
he can’t get a dance down or keeps messing up when recording
he comes home with this look on his face that’s hard to describe but you just know
normally when he has this look he’ll manage to come home when you’re cooking
so he meets you in the kitchen and just turns off the stove before pulling you close and curling into you
before pulling back and kissing you really hard
like,,, you get pushed back a little that’s how hard it was
he’ll set you on a clean part of the counter to get a better angle
and just goes at it
you obviously kiss back for multiple reasons
while kissing you he remembers why he keeps going
he does it for you
for his current family and for the one he wants to eventually start with you
and these thoughts mixed with the feeling of your lips on his pull him out of his funk every time
he’ll pull away after a few minutes and rest his forehead on yours
“I missed you babygirl” in his deep voice
ugh, you’d meLT
“I can tell”
your lips would be brushing against each others as you giggled
he’d kiss you one last time before helping you finish cooking the diner he interrupted
all around it’d be amazing
I love this meme boy

Waiting
Hwang Hyunjin x Reader x Lee Felix - non-Idol AU
Type - Angst?
Warnings - sad things
Summary - I knew I shouldn’t, but I couldn’t help myself from trusting him with my heart.
A/N - This went in a totally different direction then I first planed it, but I still really like it?? Idk, I’m not used to writing sad things but I wanna do more like this. Tell me what you guys think!
“Where are you taking me?!” I asked while groaning. Hyunjin had been pulling me along the streets of the town we lived in for almost 15 minutes now and I was still as clueless as when we first left the house.
“You’ll see when we get there!” Was all he would say to my question, never giving me an actual answer. My eyes traveled up. The clouds were gray and hung low in the sky, making the day darker then it should have been.
“Please tell me where ever we’re going is inside cause it’s about to pour.”
“It is.” A sigh of relief escaped my lips. He continued to drag me further along the path before stopping suddenly. I bumped into his back and rubbed my head.
“What the hell, Hyunjin!” I laughed out while looking over his shoulder. We stood in front of an old movie theater. It was one both of us had talked about going to but never had the time to. And when ever we did have the time, it wasn’t showing anything good. By the doors stood a few of our friends, Felix, Jeongin and Minho. The Aussie noticed us and waved excitedly, calling us over to them. Hyunjin wrapped his arm around my shoulders as we made our way over. I looked up slightly to see his profile before looking back down with a small blush.
“Hey, are you guys ready?” Hyunjin asked once we were close enough to not be yelling.
“Yeah!” Jeongin exclaimed.
“Wait, what movie are we seeing?” I asked.
“This boy didn’t tell you anything?” Minho asked and let out a playful scoff when I shook my head ‘no’. “The theater is playing every disney movie today so Hyunjin made sure to get us tickets to your favorite.” My eyes widened as I looked up to the boy next to me who held up two tickets with ‘The Little Mermaid’ written on it.
“You didn’t!” I said in disbelief.
“Oh, but I did.” I couldn’t help myself and jumped on him, pulling him into my arms and resting my head on his chest.
“Thank you!” I then let go of him and pulled everyone inside. “Let’s go!” It was a cute little theater. The classic checkered floors and neon lights all around. We made our way into the room that showed the movie we wanted to watch. I sat with Hyunjin on one side and Felix on the other.
“I’ll go grab snacks. Want anything?” Hyunjin asked. I nodded.
“Do you know what I like?”
“Who do you take me for? Of course I do.” He took the rest of our friends orders and left.
“Hey, please be careful.” Felix mumbled, catching my attention. I bit my lip and looked away for a second before looking back with a smile.
“I will, you don’t need to worry about me.” He squeezed my hand and smiled.
“What are you two talking about that we can’t know?!” Minho asked loudly, leaning over Jeongin and closer to us. We hadn’t even realized we spoke in English.
“Nothing you need to worry about.” Felix and I laughed out and Hyunjin came back. He handed everyone what they wanted and settled back into his spot. The movie started soon after he sat down. I leaned closer to the pretty boy with out even realizing.
“Hey, sit up for a second.” He whispered. Confused, I did as he said. I watched as he put the arm rest up and open his arms for me to fall into. All I could do was smile and cuddle into his chest. He was warm and smelled nice, how could I say no?
The movie didn’t last long. Or maybe it did, I couldn’t really tell since I fell asleep. Hyunjins hold was protective and nice that I couldn’t really help it.
“Hey, wake up darling.” I heard him mumbling. My eyes fluttered open to look around, trying to remember where I was. “You fell asleep.” He laughed, making me blush in embarrassment.
“Oh, sorry.” I mumbled while sitting up.
“Don’t worry about it, you’re cute when you sleep.” Once again, I couldn’t help the blush on my cheeks. Felix bit back his words as he looked away from us. The five of us stood up and made our way outside.
“It was fun to hang out again.” Jeongin said as Minho opened the door for us.
“Yeah, we should do this again some time!” He said, following us outside. A honking interrupted our conversation. My heart instantly dropped as I looked at the car.
“It’s Ariana!” Hyunjin exclaimed, instantly getting excited over the thought of his girlfriend. “Are you okay to walk back on your own?” He asked me. I nodded and looked away. “Are you sure? Ariana can give you a ride back.”
“I’ll be fine, dude. I have Felix and Minho.”
“What about me!” Jeongin exclaimed.
“And Jeongin, even if he’s too cute to stop anyone from attacking me.” Hyunjin bit his lip at that joke, not thinking it was funny for me to joke around about something like that. “I’ll be fine, go have fun with Ariana, she’s waiting.” With that, he quickly said bye and went into the car that speed off.
“Hey, are you okay?” Minho asked, noticing my change in behavior.
“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” The two oldest boys exchanged a look as Jeongin and I talked.
“Hey, (Y/n),” Felix said, gaining my attention, “I’ll walk you home.” I nodded and said bye to the other two before taking the Aussies hand and starting the walk home. For the most part it was a quiet walk, only exchanging words every now and again. I could feel my heart dropping further into my stomach with every step we took. Soon enough we stood in front of my apartment. We didn’t say anything for a few seconds as we stood facing each other, our hands still connected. I couldn’t bring my head up. I didn’t want him to see my tears.
“Do you want me to stay with you for tonight?” He asked softly. I nodded and fell into his now open arms. My legs just didn’t seem to work any more as I buried my head in his chest, my breathing now uneven. He unlocked my door and helped me in, making sure to lock it behind him. Very gently, he picked me up and placed us on my couch. I laid in his lap, not wanting to move from him anymore. His hand rubbed up and down my back as he tried to calm me down. After about 10 minutes of that, I looked up to him. His eyes were filled with worry and love as he looked down at me.
I couldn’t control myself. I leaned up and kissed him. My hands grabbed the front of his shirt to keep him close. For only a second I could feel him kiss back. But saddly it was only a second before he pulled away. All the feelings that I tried to hide away overflowed and flooded my heart and head.
“Please, Felix.” I whispered. The desperation in my voice absolutely broke his heart but he stood his ground.
“No, you’re in pain right now. I’d be taking advantage of you if I let you do what you wanted, and I could never do that to you.” With his words, I buried my face back in his chest.
“Why?” I asked, “Why does he treat me like he loves me even if he doesn’t and why do I fall for it every time?”
“I don’t know.” Felix rested his chin on top of my head as I cried. For that night, he kept his arms securely around me as I cried on his shoulder. He hoped he could be the reason I was happy someday, but today wasn’t that day. All he could do for me today was just being there for me and comforting me. All he could do today was wait.

[11:57]
(Lee Felix)
The door opened and closed quietly as Felix entered the room. Sweat was dried in his hair and clothes and his face was drained from any expression. With a small sigh, he made his way to the bathroom to clean up before grabbing something to eat and climbing into bed with me. As the warm water hit his skin, thoughts of me filled his mind. He thought he would be home a lot earlier then he originally said he would be and only had time to send a quick ‘sorry, I have to stay later’ and ‘good night baby’ before needing to go back to practice. It hurt him to know he was effecting me, since he knew I’d always try to stay up late to see him when he gets home, but it also slightly warmed his heart to know I cared so much.
Gently, he stepped out of the shower after turning the water off and began to dry his hair, opting to use his towel instead of the blowdryer as to not wake me up. He got dressed and went to the kitchen to grab an apple before heading to the dimly lit living room. As soon as his eyes fell upon the couch he could feel his heart skip a beat.
There I laid, his pillow in my arms and my book still in my hands. I wore one of his bigger shirts and it looked like I was swimming in it. My hair was everywhere and looked to have air dried since it wasn’t styled.
“Oh my gosh.” He whispered while clutching his heart. The warm, dim light from the candle gave the whole scene a surreal feel as he walked closer to me and kneeled down. For a second, he took in my relaxed features, noticing how my lips were parted ever so slightly to let soft snores escape them. As gently as he could, he tried to grab the book from my hands but the movement woke me up.
“Felix?” I called out sleepily, “What time is it?”
“I’m here baby, it’s late. Just go back to sleep.” I ignored his words and sat up to look at him.
“How was practice? There’s diner for you in the fridge.”
“I’ll go eat it then.” He always loved my cooking. My arms went up, as if to ask for him to carry me. All he did was chuckle before picking me up and holding me like a child. My head rested on his shoulder as my arms wrapped around him loosely. He grabbed the food and sat down at the counter with me on his lap. There, he ate while I fell asleep once more. After the boy finished, he took a few more seconds to admire my soft sleeping features. This time only lasted a few seconds though cause I began to wake up again, looking to him once more for where I was.
“Hey, doll.” He whispered while chuckling lightly, “whatch’ ya doing?”
“I wanna watch a movie with you.” My sleepy voice sent Felix’s heart into a frenzy.
“You’ll just fall asleep. Why don’t we-“ I shook my head no at him, making his words stop and his eyebrow raise.
“Movie.” I demanded while blinking a few times to cast away the sleep. With another chuckle, he took me back to the couch and put on a movie after brushing his teeth. Felix was never able to say no to me. We settled down together, ready to relax. I laid on his chest while he held me close, his chin on top of my head that laid on his chest. My hands were lazily playing with his hair. Every now and again one would make a comment to make the other giggle. But as the movie progressed, Felix felt my hands stop moving. At first he thought I just didn’t want to play with his hair anymore but when he looked down, he noticed I was out for the night. For what felt like the millionth time today, he chuckled then turned the TV off and carried us to our bed. There, he made sure I was safe in his arms before falling asleep as well.

Our Field
Lee Felix x Reader - War AU (A/n - First, for those who requested stuff, I’m posting some of them tomorrow so don’t worry! Second, this is based off Steven Universe so if it sounds familiar then that’s why)
Type - some fluff, some angst
Warnings - violence, death, blood, rebelling, things of that nature
Summary - “The common folk say this one is a Gardenia.” His smile was soft and held so much sincerity, “You look beautiful with it.” My cheeks turned pink as my eyes widened - my mouth opening and closing like a fish. “Sir, I- Sir, this isn’t-“ I couldn’t find the words and stuttered for a second before he gently placed a finger under my chin, making me go quiet.
~~
For a second the world seemed to stop as I stood where I last saw him. I wasn’t sure if I was breathing quickly or not at all. Baby’s Breath and Gardenia plants crawled up the broken down ships and machines only to mingle and live with the green vines that were already there. So much life now lived right here. Right where nothing used to grow only so little ago.
Right where I lost him.
“Hey, are you okay?” I heard Woojin ask as he placed a hand on my shoulder. This seemed to pull me from my trance as I turned to look at him. He was older then me and yet he always followed every single one of my orders diligently.
“I-“ I paused while looking down to the flowers once more, “I don’t know.” The words were just whispers on my lips but in the quiet meadow, they were clear. I crouched down and gently touched one of the white flowers.
“What are we doing here?” He asked as I stood back up and walked around slowly. He followed a little behind me.
“You know, this is where it all started.” Woojin knew what I was talking about but he let me continue since I’ve never talked about it so openly and calmly before. “This is where Felix and I started the rebellion how ever many years ago.” I chuckled slightly, “He was always so infatuated by this place - by the land and how everything grew and thrived. It’s funny, almost. How such a small thought - something that was never meant to be said - turned into all this.” As I spoke about the past, my mind began to wonder.
“Sir! Please slow down!” I called out to my leader, who I was set to look after, while running to catch up to him.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” He asked once I was at his side. I hadn’t realized that we now stood in a field of white flowers. The sight of it took my breath away. The bright whites on top of the crisp greens. How the air smelled sweet and fresh. The dull blue sky that was still so beautifully clear.
“Yes, it is.” I mumbled as he leaned down. In his hand laid a white flower that I’d never seen before. Felix walked closer to me and smiled before reaching over and placing it in my hair. I noticed the sparkles in his eyes as he stared at me for a few seconds.
“The common folk say this one is a Gardenia.” His smile was soft and held so much sincerity, “You look beautiful with it.” My cheeks turned pink as my eyes widened - my mouth opening and closing like a fish.
“Sir, I- Sir, this isn’t-“ I couldn’t find the words and stuttered for a second before he gently placed a finger under my chin, making me go quiet.
“It’s okay. I know this isn’t how we’re supposed to live.” His voice seemed sad as he spoke. His eyes left mine and went to my lips for only a second before falling to the floor. They didn’t stay there for long and he was soon looking back at the scenery once more. “But please, can I have this? If only for a few seconds?” Very gently - very hesitantly - I reached for his hand and linked out pinkies together. His eyes traveled to our hands before going back to my eyes.
“Of course…Felix.” It felt weird to call him by his name, but something about it felt right. Our foreheads pressed together as he smiled.
“I wish we could save this. After we expand, nothing will live here anymore. It’ll just be dead space.” His eyes sparkled with a plan as they bored into mine, “Let’s stop them.”
Those three words threw me off. I didn’t know it then but those three words would change my whole life in just seconds. I knew I only had two choices for an answer and he knew what would happen if I wasn’t with him. I could turn him in to the government and they would get rid of the threat, or I could say-
“Okay.”
“It was such an insane idea at the time. Trying to stop expansion. We only had each other and nothing else.” I sat down on the grass and Woojin sat with me. “But it took off and people began to follow and fight. Soon we meet you and Chan and Jisung and the others. We didn’t look like much but hell, we fought like we didn’t care if we died.”
“I don’t think we did care.” Woojin chuckled slightly.
“Yeah.” I breathed out. “Do you remember Felix’s first speech before the first real fight?”
“How could anyone forget?” He was right, how could anyone forget that day?
“Are you sure about this? You don’t have to do this.” Felix asked softly, his back facing me.
“What do you mean?” He turned to face me and I paused. His face was covered in guilt.
“You have to understand the situation we’re in.” Despite the almost harsh words he said, he still spoke in a soft and loving tone. “If we loose, we’ll be killed and if we win, we can never go home.”
“Why would I want to go home, when you’re here?” I laced our hands together and looked up to him.
“You’re so beautiful.” He whispered as our foreheads pressed together. I closed my eyes and smiled at the proximity. Slowly, one of his hands left mine and cupped my chin to lightly tilt my head so he could place a kiss to my cheek.
“And so are you.” For a few more seconds we stayed like that before people outside the tint we were in began to cheer and call for their leader. “We’re in this together.”
“Till our last breath.” He whispered then pulled away. Once he turned around and walked out the tint, he was a different man. He wasn’t my Felix, he was the leader of this rebellion. The leader it needed.
“Today we fight.” He started, “Not for tomorrow but for the future. For our children's future and for their children’s future!” He went on as the fight drew nearer and nearer - closer and closer.
“Can I ask you something?” Woojin asked softly.
“Of course.”
“What was he to you?” The question made me pause.
“He was my everything. Everything I ever did, I did for him” I wouldn’t sugar coat it because my words were true. “I wouldn’t even be alive if it wasn’t for him. He cared and fought for me when I couldn’t. I’d always do the same for him. He truly kept our promise. I’m not exaggerating when I say, he really was - and still is - my everything.”
“What was the promise?”
“To love each other till our last breath.”
“FELIX!” I screamed as I watched him fall to his knees. Blood began to pour from his chest as I grabbed his face. “No, no, no, please, no.” I begged and begged while picking him up and trying to find someone - anyone - who could help him.
“(Y/n).” He breathed out when I began to panic. I looked down to him before setting him down and trying to stop the blood, not even sure how this happened despite having watched it unfold just seconds ago.
“You’re okay. It’s going to be okay.” I put so much pressure on his chest that I was sure it was hard for him to breath. But I didn’t care. As long as he made it out alive.
“I’m sorry.” He whispered as his bloody hand reached up to rest on my tear covered cheek. “I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you longer. That I couldn’t love you longer.”
“No, don’t say that. You’re going to make it.”
“Please, don’t lie to me in my last seconds to see you.” Those words shattered me. “Let me hold you, one last time.” Instantly I brought him into my arms and hugged him, not caring that we were both covered in blood. Not caring that the field we laid in seemed to taunt us. The place that once brought me so much joy - the place Felix first brought me - now just laughed. Everything was dying. The grass was gone and the sky seemed to be a permanent red color. No flowers or vines were able to grow anymore due to the stomping of soldiers and the blood of battle.
“I love you Felix.” I kept repeating the phrase over and over again while grasping onto him for dear life. Grasping onto him as if it would save him.
It didn’t.
He pulled back and gave me one final kiss goodbye. I kissed back. I wanted it to last forever but it didn’t. His lips stopped moving against mine and his head fell back. My eyes opened to see my love dead in my arms. I laid him down and fell into his chest. My hands gripped his shirt and I refused to let go of him, not believing this was happening. I felt as if I let go then he might really be dead - so I held on. “(Y/N)!” I heard Chan screaming at me - yelling to let go and to get up and fight, but I couldn’t. It wasn’t till he physically ripped me from Felix and shoved a weapon in my hand that I realized where I truly was. That I realized what had to be done. I finished the battle with my loves blood covering my body, painting the floor with others, and leading us to our goal.
From that day on, I was the leader.
“I didn’t know that.”
“No one besides Chan and now you know it.” I whispered while staring at the sky. “This field that we worked so hard to defend. This is where it started, where he ended, and where the war ended.”
“Wow.”
“I know.” It was quiet, “I miss him. I don’t think a single day goes by where I don’t. I wonder what he would say right now if he was here.”
“I’m sure he’d tell you he loves you.” Woojin mumbled, “He seemed to truly love you.”
“Yeah,” I mumbled, my hand pulling at a small gardenia and bringing it up to my nose before placing it in my hair. With a deep breath, I laid back and let the day consume me. It truly felt is if he were right there with me in our field.

I did more sketches. The top left one is Bang Chan in a 3D type style. The bottom middle is Hyunjin in a blue monochromatic style(minus the line art which I forgot to chang the color of before compressing the layers). Then the top right is just a simple line art of Felix since I felt like there should be three.

Mermaid!Lee Felix x Reader   The Hook(1) -  Jump(3)
Type - suspense/fluff
Warnings - mermaids?
Requested - yes - requests are open
Summary - I promised him I’d come back, so I did.
~~
The next day, after school, I went back to the same spot I last saw the mermaid. Or was he a merman? After all, he was a he and not a she…I think, who knows how mer-people looked. When I got to the lake, something seemed off. The colors were drained and a thin fog laid across the top of the water. I kept going forwards though. I walked all the way to the spot where I last saw Felix. I expected him to not be there. I expected to never see this weird boy again and just say it was my brain making up things. But to my surprise, he sat in the same spot. His tail laid in the water by the shore as he laid on the sand. His eyes were closed and as I grew closer, I noticed he had freckles. “Hello.” I spoke softly and his eyes opened and he jumped before relaxing at the sight of me. From where I stood, I could hear a purr like noise vibrating from his chest as he smiled. “Is the wound doing good?” I asked while pointing to my lip to show what I was talking about. He nodded and pointed to his lip even though the injury was just below his lip. “Did you swim at all while I was away?” He shook his head ‘no’ and I frowned at him. “You need to swim. Isn’t that now you breath?” Again he shook his head ‘no’ before opening his mouth to talk. He stuttered and stumbled while trying to say “breath oxygen”. “Oh, so you can breathe on land too?” He nodded. I looked at him for a few seconds with a curious look on my face. He looked back at me with the same expression. “Don’t you want to swim though?” “W-wit-th you-u” “With me?” He nodded and hesitantly reached for my hand. I let him grab it and pull me slightly towards the shore before I stopped him. “Last time you pulled me to the ocean, you were trying to kill me.” The words were but a whisper on my lips as I looked at the sand that clung to my feet. Cold hands fell against my cheeks and turned my face to look up. I looked into the mermaids eyes as he tilted his head to me. “I never got your name.” “N-name?” He asked. I could already tell he was getting better at English. “What someone calls you.” With that, he shook his head ‘no’ again. “I’ll call you Felix then.” “Felix?” He sounded it out and I nodded. “Yeah, and I’m (Y/n).” “(Y/n)” He repeated it a few more times to try and remember it before he pulled me to the ocean again. As I let him drag me, I figured that if this was how I was meant to die then so be it. The cold water hit my feet and made me shiver. There seemed to be a drop off a few feet out that he was pulling me to. The thought of it made me a little nervous. “No scared” He said slowly, this time with out stuttering. “Don’t be scared? It’s a little hard not to be.” “Me protect!” His smile widened and melted my heart. With that, I let him pull me all the way to the drop off. My feet fell off the edge and his arms instantly went around me. I blinked at him for a few seconds as he sway away from the shore. It confused me to why he didn’t swim underwater, but I wasn’t complaining since I could still breath. He pulled us to a small area that was tucked behind a lot of rocks. There was a small waterfall and some beautiful rocks to sit on. The water here was crystal clear and I could see the bottom where white sand laid. Plants hung over the edges of rocks that circled the area we sat. Felix placed me down at the edge of a rock that was slightly under water. “Stay.” I nodded and he went underwater. I watched him as he went down to the bottom of the small spring. Once at the bottom, he grabbed something and came back up. It looked shiny and pretty. His head broke the surface of the water as he swam up next to me. “For you.” He mumbled while holding up a opal gem. It looked to be polished from sand hitting it. My eyes widened as he placed it in my hands. “Are you sure? This is beautiful.” He nodded and smiled. For the rest of the time I watched him swim and do cool tricks in the water. Eventually the sky began to grow dark and I knew I had to go home. Felix noticed my mood darken and swam up next to me while tilting my head as his way of asking what was wrong. “I need to go back home.” His frown deepened as he pushed off the rock. He crossed his arms and shook his head ‘no’. “No? Felix, I need to go home.” “Won’t come back.” “You won’t come back?” He shook his head and pointed to me. “I won’t come back?” He nodded. “Of course I will.” I could see it now that he pointed that out, but in his eyes was a shimmer of fear. Maybe he was scared he’d be alone again, but I thought mermaids were always alone. “I promise you I will always come back.” After a little more convincing, he eventually helped me off the rocks and pulled us to the shore. Just before I fully got out, he pulled me down and placed a kiss to my lips. I could feel the stitches from yesterday brush against my lips as his cold ones moved against mine. It took me a second, but I kissed back. We pulled away after a second. Instantly he was underwater. I smiled softly. “I’ll see you tomorrow, Felix.” I whispered before walking to my car.
