1 - gojo. he's getting blocked instantly. oh my god. he would be insufferable. he would probably use tumblr for its "intended" purpose and use it as like. his own personal blog to make shit up and write bad poetry and post thirst traps. bad bad bad. 2 - sukuna. probably a porn or fetish blog or something. enough said.

4 - panda. probably just reblogs memes stolen from reddit. maybe sometimes posts his own memes but they're also bad. also he is mutuals with the pornbots that follow all of us.

5 - miwa. i... she runs a gojo fanblog. insta-block. i love gojo. i don't wanna see thirst posts of him though.

(BONUS: top five i would have tumblr crushes on: yaga, megumi, maki, toge, and nanami. yaga posts pictures of his little guys he's created, megumi probably runs one of those cool blogs that's half funny textposts half aesthetic pictures with a monochrome theme, maki probably writes really interesting think-pieces about various discourse sometimes but then also will post the funniest meme you've ever seen the next minute, toge probably runs a blog similar to elytrians where he is just constantly spitting out funny textposts and memes, and nanami would have one of those blogs that has a little bit of everything on it: recipes, shitposts, fandom, aesthetic pictures.)

i like to think one of the only time stsg is reminded of the other’s existence after geto’s defection is when one of them arrived at mc’s grave and the flowers one of them left previously is changed and her grave is spotless. and after geto d worded, shoko and gojo end up visiting 2 graves in a year one of which might be a makeshift one. also the friendship pain, like subconsciously thinking of mc when they’re shopping and goes “wait this will look good on mc” and then correcting themselves of the impossibility of seeing mc with said items or maybe passing by a place 4 of them used to hang out with, and and a stranger looking awfully similar to mc that they kinda play pretend like in a shop/ grocery store by being kinder than necessary to said stranger. or when a student saw mc’s photo in their phone/ framed on their desk and unknowingly goes “hey she’s rly pretty, is she one of ur friends, does she work for the college too?” which reminds (one of) them all over of the endless what-if possibilities

I talked quite a bit about Sukuna recently, though my most concise thoughts were probably in the last current reply on this post.

I've realized there are two things I really want to dissect and examine about Sukuna:

1. His philosophy.

2. His words to the dying Jogo, and what he's really doing there.

Becauuuse...I do think there is an emergent theme in JJK of "The lies we tell ourselves, and what opportunities we forsake when doing so."

I've mentioned before on Tumblr--and plenty of times privately to friends--that I think Sukuna lies to himself. Not consciously. Mostly in regards to his emotions, as he's shown to be without direction outside of immediate or single-minded goals. I NEEEEED THE TRANSLATED DIALOGUE, SOOOOON. This is pretty evident in how he treats Yuji, with 248 seemingly confirming it, but this lie he tells himself extends to his interactions with other characters, too.

I hit on it for a bit in the linked post, but he has a real habit of trying to prove himself, without realizing that this is what he's doing. He's almost compulsory in his need to dismiss the words of those around him as lesser and faulty, and act like he's wiser than them all. The way he treats Yorozu is the most obvious, with Yuji as a close second (because it wasn't originally evident that much of his behavior towards Yuji was born of insecurity), but this shows up with Kashimo, Gojo, and much earlier on, Jogo.

So I really need to pour over that moment again; I had noted Sukuna's behavior to be odd and dismissive of Jogo's wants when I first read it, but later chapters seem to cement it as Sukuna trying to supplant any niggling doubts and wishes he doesn't comprehend with his own philosophy.

@rmorde Since this ended up being a semi-additional response to what we discussed. No pressure to respond to this, though. I also want to clarify that I don't think Sukuna is lonely, but perhaps simply lethargic, or just unable (unwilling, maybe) to understand perspectives not his own.
