Episode 11 ~ My Immortal

“I can’t believe I’m having two children,” the news was really starting to hit me and needed to find a seat. Do I really have to start wearing condoms now?

“I can’t believe I’m having one!” Jana was clearly a lot more excited about this than I was.

“You have two as well, Laverne needs a mother.”

“I’ll leave that to your other one.”

Okay, not off to the best start there. Jana is not as much of a team player as Tabitha is but that’s alright, she’s right any way. Tabitha will probably adore playing the role of mom to Laverne, as soon as we can get her back, that is.

“Is this going to be an issue? Do you have a problem with any of this?”

“I will tolerate it. I do think that I am more than enough for you but I understand the kind of man I’m dealing with.”

“Hm.” What could I say to that? She’s willing to tolerate it, that’s good enough for now. Besides, if I had to choose to share a child with her or Tabitha it would definitely be her. Nothing at all wrong with Tabitha but she’s loyal and passionate about me while Jana is still missing that. I have been getting the sense that she’s not been entirely truthful about things but it’s just a sense for now. Unfortunately, my senses tend to be correct more often than not nowadays. “Well, make sure that you two get along and that we all get along. We all want what is best for the clan, after all.”

“Definitely. I’m team Tourneau all the way now,” she claims. I believe her. I do not believe this was always the case and her use of ‘now’ reveals that. I do remember our first interaction as well. I know that she’s wanted to use me all along but I feel that the baby has definitely changed things and in my favor. She’s going to be a lot more cooperative now and perhaps, not so self-serving.

Hey, Jil!! Just wanted to pop in because I've been watching videos with obscure Pokémon facts, and there was one with Steven that made me go, "Oh! It's neat that Jil's husband is so thoughtful!" And I had to run and tell you asdfghjkl

I believe it's in Emerald, but I know it's definitely in Gen III. Apparently, if you don't visit Steven and get Dive during the story (which could happen if you traded over a Pokémon who knew the HM, therefore bypassing seeing Steven to get it), the game has a little fail-safe where when you go at the end of the game to collect the Beldum he leaves for the player, he'll also leave the HM Dive, which you would have gotten during the story normally! And I just thought it was cute that such a tiny detail exists ... Steven is truly a sweetheart. /p

Narrator: As Tabitha walked off Maria couldn’t help but feel that she had made a mistake. That her impulsive behavior might finally get the best of her like what happened at college. Suddenly she’s thinking of being carried out of a dorm party while drunk and suddenly she’s thinking of a photoshoot that she would always regret. Yet, Julius had her pegged. She often crashed head first into things and worried about the damage later, her moving to Komorebi was yet another example of that. She couldn’t help herself.

Besides, she was on vacation and Tabitha seemed nice enough. If it had been a man who had asked to meet her at a park at night of course she would not have gone for it but Tabitha seemed nice enough...
