Yesterday I got my joker tattoo covered up. It was a tough decision but my joker tattoo just didn’t make me feel pretty and it was time to change it up. The new tattoo is definitely a change of pace from my previous tattoos and will take some getting used to, but I’m hoping my new tattoo will help me feel more confident. I’m excited to bring my new tattoo into the new year with me.

flipped the mirror selfie i took near the end of the first session of my newest tattoo so y’all could see the inspiration lol

obviously it’s not the exact same design as what’s on the custom shirt the costuming department made for kyle to wear but i basically showed my artist stills like this one from the movie and told him that i wanted the same word in that sort of metal font but that i trusted him to take artistic liberties and i’m really really happy with how it’s come out so far! i had to tap out around this point from shakes but i’m super excited to get the rest filled in

THE TICKSTER. Everyone's least-favorite ex-cultist <3 Due to their unnatural stature and durability, and mildly demented personality, Ticky found themself as the self-flagellating slapstick jester to an ostensibly evil king. Said king ended up being gradually possessed by the god of agony and madness, and as his influence grew and the king became more bloodthirsty, Ticky's unhealthy infatuation with their employer drove them to turn their slapstick routines into full-blown self-inflicted torture. The mad god was eventually defeated by a group of famous heroes, but rather than snap out of their arcane madness, Ticky set out on a revengequest against the level 20 PCs that had killed their boss. They failed spectacularly, obviously. The group of adventurers took pity on them, and hired them as their HQ's janitor. Years later, the heroes started a mentorship program for young adventurers, and being the oldest non-hero present, Ticky was made the chaperone of the student group. Which is going about as well as one might expect.

Ticky dresses anachronistically for the fantasy setting due to the fact that their mother actually recently invented the zipper. Their tattoos are magic, and a conduit for their long-latent madness-inflicted psychic abilities. They were designed visually to cover the ring of scars on their arms - scars that the mad god inflicted on all of his followers. Ticky's hair is greying due to stress, not age. They're only 100, which is mid-late 20s in gnome years. Also, they're very often mistaken for a dwarf (or at least part-dwarf) due to their absurd height (4'3") and heavy build, but they're just Like That (they're about the equivalent of a 6'6" strongman).

1st day session of my scarecrow sleeve was complete yesterday but the lovely CurlyHorns at GhostShip Tattoos

So tired to today but so worth it! It was first day session (6 hours of tattooing with like a 20 mins break) and I’m sore af but so hyped about the tattoo and about continuing with the sleeve

i have a tattoo i want to cover (actually i have 2 but this is only abt one of them) and it is large and irregularly shaped and contains a lot of black lines so i wasn't sure How to do that but i think i have settled on a winner: scutes on my Entire forearm
