nene is bi. obv likes men, was crushing on Sakura in the 4pm bookstacks arc. shes also trans. she was "brought up as a prince" in one of the aus

kou is bi. had a crush on nene. gets flustered by hanako and mitsuba at multiple points. called hanako beautiful iirc

hanako is genderfluid (tfem). said he used to present as fem. he is also bi. he likes nene, but he also flirts with kou. he has said pervy stuff ab akane (boy).

both mitsuba are gay and/or aro ace. he has said he doesnt like women on multiple occasions. hes never denied liking men + flirts with kou.

akane (boy) is bi. he likes aoi (girl), but also dated lemon that one time.

teru is aro?? he rejects guys and girls, but claims he's looking for the right person?? idk

Minamoto No Yorimitsu appreciation post

guys STOP SLEEPING ON YORIMITSU!!! I love him so so much and I swear nobody took note of him but somehow ppl took notice to KATAKURI??? HE AINT HALF AS MUCH OF A MAN YORIMITSU IS!!!! cries/

I'm gonna be honest ever since Hanako brung up Yorimitsu in the boy exercist arc I was like, WOW can't wait for that to be of plot relavence

and OMYGOSH was I interested in the Minamoto history!! we've seen shrine preists and the way our current exercists live, we've been told they used to be more powerful, we've heard of the Yokai supernatural ages some, SO YORIMITSU HAD TO COME IN THE SERIES EVENTUALLY RIGHT???? so I waited so long for him on page!! the closest I knew we got to Minamoto history was Hakubo, and how he had Minamoto beads wrapped around him in the official art with Sumire. very questionable, BUT OH BOY WAS THE BACKSTORY WITH YORIMITSU FUN!! the second I saw his figure I was like, woah wait....

AND THEN LIKE NEXT PAGE I SAW HIS LEG AND WAS LIKE BREATHLESSLY LIKE "NO WAY....COULD IT BE YORIMITSU?" AND THEN I READ SOME MORE DIALOGUE AND IT SAID YORI FUCKING MITSU!!!! I WAS SO HAPPY AND HIS DESIGN IS SO TOP TEIR???

I kid you not I was internalized waiting for him to come and I said his name like before it was even read and like, PPL STOP SLEEPING ON THIS GOD OF A MAN???

AND WOW WAS HAKUBO'S DISCRIPTION OF YORIMITSU SO PERFECT!!

I ADORED how it was done so much!! and how Yorimitsu acted was so fun!! his personality was so fiery and willing, and boy does he have those Minamoto genetics, you can thank this sexy man for Teru's beautiful self!

okay but like, everyone has to agree his design?????so fucking beautiful?????and WOW THE PONY???? AND HIS BANG PEICES???

THE DESIGN THEY CHOSE FOR HIM?? it's so so fucking stunning, I've seen stunning Yorimitsu designs before but WOAH did AidaIro go all out for their Yorimitsu!! and I am over the TOP for what they did for his sleeves and armor!! the classic tbhk Minamoto style and typical Yorimitsu attire? so perfect?? and I'd say the take on the Oē Mountain slaying (I believe it was?) was so effortlessly PERFECT!! and honestly with the backstory I wasn't really surprised because this is all something I could have guessed before with what I've seen/read and the artwork but it WAS SUCH AN AMAZING READ!!!

and boy was the way he treated an Oni like Hakubo, well, unnatural? that's such an interesting touch on Yorimitsu!! he is such a chance guy, but he knows he could take care of him if he needed too, but that trust was something Hakubo hasn't been shown :(

ALSO BACK TO YORIMITSU'S DESIGN(I know I keep coming back to it but shush)

after we finally got him in the manga panels I was over joyed, but after a few weeks, I started wondering when our official coloring would be? because as much as people didn't really color him there were still colorings and I had ideas from other Yorimitsu designs and color pallettes I've seen, but couldn't exactly decide what AidaIro would go for, BUT BOY WAS I NOT EXPECTING AIDAIRO TO GO FOR THE RED AND WHITE COLOR SCHEME?? ITS SO PERFECT AND ACCURATE AND BEAUTIFUL AND OML

WE ALL KNEW YORIMITSU WOULD HAVE GOLD ACCENTS BUT OMG DID THEY TURN OUT SO MUCH PRETTIER THEN I EXPECTED??? HE SLAYS SO BADDDD

THOSE ICY BLUES OMYGOSH!!!!😳😳 THEY'RE SO PRETTY!!! I already adored Teru's blue eyes so I couldn't wait for Yorimitsu's, BUT THEY TURNED OUT SO MUCH MORE STUNNING THEN I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT!!! (also side note I rly liked Hakubo's working outfit colors)

and his spikey👏ass👏HAIR?👏👏👏looks so good tied up!!

and again, his interactions with Hakubo were AMAZING!

it's so amazing to see on page, and he is so silly!! his interactions and the way he treated people I imagine could be blunt at times, but he cares so much!!! and his priorities are to protect, he's so perfect for this manga sjsjjdjd(also the official art with Yorimitsu based on the panel in the right bottom corner was priceless)

his laugh and smile is so cute too?!?!!?!?! and he DOES remind us of Kou huh? so happy Hakubo saw it too!!! weren't we all waiting for him to think of Yorimitsu while fighting Kou?

and he still looking fine asf there????????HAKUBO REMEMBERS HOW HIS PONYTAIL WAS SO JSDHFHDKDNDOJDJDOFNFJJF

Nene's blonde is more platinum and her tips are blue!!

Aoi's hair is a really desaturated purple!

Akane's hair is redder then canon. *whole world agrees with me*

Teru's hair is more warm and darker of a blonde!!

EVERYONE SHUT UP (not actually<3) NATSUHIKO DYES HIS HAIR RED THAT SORTA LOOKS BROWN IN SOME LIGHTINGS AND LEFT HIS BOTTOM HAIR/ROOTS HIS ORIGINAL HAIR COLOR!!!!DARK BROWN!!!!

that last one was a doozy...uh Yamabuki's hair is more natural blonde looking then bright lemon blonde!

Shijima's hair is a very desaturated greenish yellow and Mei's is brown

Sakura has very light desaturated green

Kou is a ball of sunshine, he has that bright blonde with hints of warm oranges

(AidaIro got the Yugi twins and Tiara's hair colors right though)

Yokoo is Blonde and Satou has brown hair

Mitsuba's hair is lighter and more red pink!

Hakubo has brown hair that hints purple everywhere

The new chapters are a roller coaster ….

Holy cow I know right???! So many things happened chronologically..

hananene kiss.. 3's a crowd death... TOO MUCH backstory for no. 6 and Sumire? Aida and Iro really confuse me cuz ur telling me we have known Hanako since the beginning of the story but WE NOW KNOW MORE INFO ABT NO.6 THAN WE DO HANAKO? Tbh, I just wish we got as much equal background context for all the other characters as we did for no.6 and Sumire... I would have LOVED to see Katakuri, Tsuchigomori, or even Sakura's backstories more smh.

But I actually did enjoy this most recent chapter (ch 89)

I find it funny that No. 6 is going knee-deep into this backstory as he is holding Aoi by a thread and Akane, Teru, and Kou are just lying there on the verge of death lmao like

No.6: "I killed them all..... now hear my tale of woe"

and Aoi is jus like
