I wasn't going to post about this here but someone who is an admin/boss at work implied they still don't think this is a good idea. And now I want to prove them wrong!

My school is participating in a fundraiser today Friday, May 3rd, through Panda Express. All you have to do is-

Order online at any panda express location in the US

Put code 923249 in the fundraiser code box when you check out!

That's it! and they will give the student council group I'm in charge of up to 28% of sales which we will use to plan fun events for the whole school like a Prom.

Today, as a change of pace, instead of catching the butterflies, beetles or spiders that usually roam into the Drama room at my school, a little native lizard ran in.

The girls in the junior class were so concerned for 'lizard friend' that they helped me catch it and insisted on coming with me to release it into the leaf litter.

Their concern that the lizard might get hurt or lost and starve in the Drama room was very sweet. It definitely put a smile on my face for the rest of the day to see kids caring for animals.
