Levi takes a slow sip of tea while his eyes glide over the article in front of him: the latest reading for his European Art History class. His mouth twitches at the bitter taste of over-brewed Earl Grey. The library cafe never seems to be able to get tea right, but he was desperate for some caffeine to push him through a couple more hours of studying.
...female members of the royal family have been depicted as goddesses…
Fuck. Levi’s brain had gotten away from him again. I have no idea what I just read.
With a deep sigh and adjustment of his posture, Levi starts the paragraph again.
In the hierarchy of genres established by the Academy, history painting was at the top and portraiture…
The portrait in his room flickers into his mind’s eye. Nearly complete, his mother’s smiling face stares back at him. The stormy grey of her eyes had taken Levi a week to remember and another to perfect. Sometimes, when he can’t sleep, he sits cross-legged on his bed facing her and wondering if it’s truly an accurate depiction. In his best memories, she is warm and smiling and beautiful. Levi can’t help but wonder if somehow he’s written over his mother’s true features with an invention of his own; some sort of collage of the kind women in his life. He had caught himself painting Hange’s wide smile instead of his mother’s once, and he hadn’t worked on the portrait for a month after. If he was going to ever do it justice, he had to be certain it was as close to his actual memory as possible.
The end of the page jars Levi out of a reverie, and once again he hasn’t retained any of what he just read. Leaning back in his chair with a frustrated groan, he allows the ambient noise of the library to drift back into his consciousness.
The beeping from the front desk as a librarian scans books. The thunk of someone’s metal water bottle on a table. A spirited discussion between two professors in line at the cafe. Levi can feel his will to work slipping from his grasp with each passing moment.
“No use trying to study with your mind caught up in more important things,” your voice seeps through the cracks of his work ethic. It had been six weeks into living with each other when you caught Levi staring into space at his desk instead of working yet again and decided to do something about it. Your pretty hands had guided his own away from the laptop and closed it with a finality even your obstinate roommate couldn’t argue against.
“We’re going out for sushi,” you’d insisted. “And then you’re going to watch your favorite show and go to bed.”
You were right. It’s exactly what Levi needed, both then and now.
“Hey, shortstack!” A pair of hands lands heavily on his shoulders, and Levi has to quell the urge to break Hange’s nose with the back of his hand. He settles for a steely glare over his shoulder, greeted by her energetic grin.
“If you touch me without warning like that again I will not hesitate to put you in the hospital.” Hange doesn’t seem perturbed by his deadpan delivery, but nonetheless removes her hands and holds them up in surrender.
“I come in peace! Just thought I’d say hi before my lab.” She pulls out the chair next to him and plonks down but doesn’t bother to put down her backpack or unwrap her scarf. “How’s the studying going?”
“I was just finishing up. Can’t concentrate in this environment.” He gestures vaguely to their surroundings.
“Yeah, no kidding. I’m surprised to find you here, actually, don’t you usually hole up in an empty studio?”
“Eh, figured a change of pace might help. Clearly not.”
“Great, then you can walk me to class! I’ve been meaning to talk to you anyway.” Hange bounces out of her seat and flits her gaze around the library as Levi packs up his stuff.
As they leave the library together, frigid winter air swirls around them, kicking up a flurry of snow from the snowbank by the sidewalk. Levi zips up his jacket and stuffs his hands into its pockets. Hange is unusually quiet as they walk towards the sciences building. Levi hazards a glance and sees her deep in thought, chin tucked into her scarf and glasses fogged with breath.
“So are you gonna tell me what you wanted to talk about or am I supposed to guess?” He nudges her with an elbow and she jumps.
“Oh! That’s right. It’s about your delightfully brilliant roommate,” she starts, grinning at Levi once more.
“What about her?”
“How has she been doing? Y’know, since the breakup?” Hange’s tone is almost too casual, and it makes Levi take a second to carefully consider his answer.
“She’s been fine, I think. Going to class, eating, studying.” He pauses to think again. “She has been staying up late a lot. Why do you ask?”
“That’s just it, she looked exhausted this morning in our seminar. Like she hadn’t slept at all.” Her quizzical gaze is fixed on him as he considers this.
Come to think of it, you had been looking quite tired recently. He had attributed it to upcoming exams, but it could certainly be deeper than that. For the past two weeks since the breakup, Levi had noted light from under your bedroom door every night as he went to bed. And yet, you were consistently awake before him, already on your first or second cup of coffee.
“You’re right. I don’t think she’s been sleeping,” he affirms, setting his mouth in a thin, worried line. While Levi was no stranger to insomnia, he did have strategies to help himself get enough sleep even when his mind couldn’t rest. Chamomile tea, meditation, sleeping pills when it really came down to it. Does she have those resources? he wonders.
They arrive outside the sciences building and Levi stops just short of the stairs, Hange turning to face him.
“Will you check up on her, please? Make sure she hasn’t actually been turned into a vampire?” Her tone is joking, but Levi can see the worry behind Hange’s eyes as he gives her a nod.
“Of course. I’ll text you later. Good luck in your lab.” He waves her off as she practically skips up the steps, giving him an impish salute.
“Have a good one, shortstop!”
As Levi turns back to begin walking home, worry sets in his chest with a winter-like frigidity. He thought you had been doing fine.
I thought she was glad to be rid of that jackass.

Yes, Professor
So our discord server might have come up with some professor AU’s for the Conglomerate and we might’ve gone a weeeee bit feral. So here’s what came of me deciding to target @realmonsterboyhours with two of her favorite boys, Zhuk and Bajo. Enjoy!
(If you’re unaware of the Conglomerate, a Mafia!Beej AU with 5 iterations of him, click here to get the full rundown courtesy of @monsterlovinghours
Warning: NSFW, some degradation, double teaming, spanking, just a fun time to be had
“Professor?”
“Hmm? Ah yes, come in, dorogoy.”
You hesitated in the doorway to his office, taken aback for a moment by the lavishness of the decor before you slowly entered, shutting the door behind you with trembling hands. You took a deep breath, thankful that your professor’s eyes were trained on his tea as he raised his bobbing tea bag in and out of the steaming mug. The truth was, Professor Zhuk had always intimidated you. Though he was a physically imposing man, it was his regality that truly made you feel small next to him. He spoke with an air of confidence and intelligence that no other professor could match, save for-
...Oh dear God.
“Buenos dias, querida,” Professor Escarabajo said from the plush armchair in the corner, a playful smirk playing on his lips. You stopped in your tracks, your brain sprinting to try and catch up with this unexpected turn of events. You knew you had to see Zhuk to speak about your grade in his Marxist Literature class, so why would the head of the History Department be waiting for you as well? You felt your cheeks stain a light pink despite your desperate attempts to keep yourself in check, already shrinking under the intensity of the professor’s mirthful gaze.
“This is my colleague, Professor Escarabajo,” Zhuk said cheerily, seemingly unaware of your growing nervousness as he gestured to the other man. “He will be joining us for our brief meeting. I hope that this won’t be a problem?”
You avoided his gaze, simply nodding as you sunk into the chair across from the two of them, thankful for the plush softness enveloping your body. After a moment, you felt composed enough to meet Zhuk’s gaze with a polite smile, folding your hands in your lap to disguise the telltale tremble of an intimidated woman.
“Not a problem at all, sir,” you replied softly, thumbing over the soft fabric of your skirt.
“Excellent,” he said, sipping at his tea- Earl Grey, you suspected, given the earthy aroma- before fumbling with his little gold reading glasses, sliding them over the bridge of his nose as he read through a few papers strewn across his desk.
God, what you wouldn’t give to be those pa-
No. Stop. You couldn’t be having those kinds of thoughts in front of the man you’d been fantasizing about for weeks. Christ, watching him command a classroom, demanding the attention of his students with a booming voice as he masterfully took you all through the intricacies of some of the most complicated literature you’d ever read...it made you want to throw yourself out of your chair and beg him to fuck you in front of the rest of the class.
But you couldn’t think of that. Not here, not in his office, not in front of another professor. You pinched your leg softly, hoping to distract yourself away from the fantasies that could only be making your cheeks redder by the second.
“Now, it seems you’ve been struggling on your reflections for Marxist Literature,” he said, looking over what you assumed to be a stack of the assignments you’d managed to turn in on time. “Tell me how I can be of help to you, moy dorogoy.”
You felt like you were short circuiting, your mind lulled by the sweet timbre of his beautifully accented voice, especially when he called you something in Russian that you were aching to know the meaning of. Gulping, you straightened your body in the chair, attempting to look as professional and put together as you knew you could never be in their presence.
“Well, Professor, Marxist Literature has honestly been a challenge for me,” you replied, hoping honesty would truly be the best policy. “I find it hard to look at literature from a Marxist lens when I’ve learned so little of his political theory in my classes up until this point.”
“Ah, should I tell Professor Scarabee that he’s slacking off in his teaching?” Escarabajo asked, his golden eyes alight with mischief. Your stomach lurched, oh God you were going to vomit, you couldn’t handle even the gentlest of teasing from this professor who was somehow just as handsome as Zhuk, except rougher, clearly looser, and apparently feeding off of your evident nervousness, if the look in his eye was anything to go off of.
“No, no, not at all!” you stammered. “I haven’t had the pleasure of being taught by him, but I’m sure he’s great at what he does, Professor Escarabajo.”
“Please, querida,” he said, his playful smirk softening as he gave you a little wink. “Call me Bajo.”
“Bajo…” you replied, and, despite everything, giving him a little smile of your own.
“Yes, well…” Zhuk said, clearing his throat to regain your attention. You snapped back, your stomach churning with anxiety as he stared you down. “I am happy to provide you with a few extra lessons, dorogoy. In fact, it seems to be fate that Professor...Bajo was here with me today. He just so happens to know quite a bit of Marxist political theory, yes?”
“Indeed I do,” Bajo replied, lounging back in the plush chair. “And I have nowhere to be. Will you allow for a bit of extra tutoring, pequeña?”
This felt like something straight out of a romance novel. Two gorgeous professors giving you a private study session behind closed doors? You nodded, shooting them a thankful smile as you tried not to let those kinds of thoughts into your mind. You needed to learn about Marx, and your professors were kind enough to help you, so you wouldn’t waste their time getting distracted by the demands of your body. You pulled out your textbook and sat back in the chair, ready to finally get some work done.
Of course, the world seemed to be against you from the start, because you simply couldn’t grasp a single thing the two of them were trying to teach you. It felt like your brain had turned to mush, the difficult political concepts sloshing around inside your skull and never finding a place to stick. Your answers were sloppy, your insights poor, and with every passing minute, you could feel the tension in the room grow. Zhuk was a patient man, you could tell he was trying to be gentle with you, but there was only so much even he could take. You could hear the growing aggravation in his voice, which only served to discombobulate you further. Finally, when you couldn’t even form an answer to the simplest of questions, Zhuk tossed your papers frustratedly onto his desk, running his fingers through his hair.
“Dorogoy,” he began, his voice deep and tense in a way that made your muscles clench. “We are doing all that we can to help you, but we are of no use to you if you refuse to pay attention.”
“N-no!” you stammered, feeling hot shame flush your cheeks once more. “That’s not it!”
“Then what is it, pequeña?” Bajo grumbled, pinching the bridge of his nose as he took deep, slow breaths. “Because I refuse to waste my time trying to help a student who won’t repay the favor by actually listening.”
“That’s...I-I…” you fought the urge to curl in on yourself, your fingers digging into your sides as you tried and failed to put yourself together. Suddenly, Bajo stopped, looking down at you curiously before a broad grin spread across his face.
“Look up at me, querida,” he demanded, putting two fingers under your chin to lift your face so your eyes met. Your cheeks were already shamefully flushed, but the minute you looked into his deep, golden eyes, they grew even redder, your breath coming out in soft, shaky pants. You could see the satisfaction in his gaze as he let go of your chin and turned to Zhuk.
“I believe I see the problem, amigo,” he said slyly, striding back towards his chair and taking a seat, resting his elbows on his knees as he leered at you. “The only thing distracting our student from us...is us.”
“What are you talking about, Escarabajo?” Zhuk replied, looking you over quizzically. “She seems fine to...oh.”
You looked up at him with a soft gasp at the last word and were startled by the look in his eye. What started as confusion slowly morphed into realization, and realization quickly and readily became hunger. He looked at you like a man starved looks out over a Thanksgiving feast, and though it sent a shiver down your spine, you couldn’t look away. Could this be real? Could the man you spent class after class fantasizing over be looking at you like he wanted you back? The very thought felt shameful, and yet...right.
“So you see it too, hmm?” Bajo asked, startling you out of your reverie. “How naughty of you, mariposa. What ever are we to do with you?” You watched as he looked at Zhuk, his eyes silently asking, begging for permission. Zhuk nodded, letting his eyes flit over to you, frustration still present despite the ever-growing presence of lust, lust, God, you couldn’t even deny it.
“Get up, dorogoy,” he commanded, and the unwavering dominance in his tone had you scrambling from your seat before you could even process what you were doing. You watched fearfully as Bajo strode confidently over to Zhuk’s desk, reaching into the desk drawer to pull out...a long, wooden ruler.
...Christ.
“You know what’s coming, don’t you, tonta?” he said bitingly, smacking the ruler threateningly against his palm. You could feel your legs tremble as you nodded, sniffling under your breath knowing you were about to get what you deserve. “Good girl. Over the desk.”
You hesitated for a moment, a rush of mixed feelings taking you over; fear, shame, excitement, curiosity, desire...it was that last one that got your feet moving, and when you reached the desk, you bent over and braced your arms against the dark wood, the slight breeze against your bare legs making the blood rush to your cheeks once more. You kept your eyes trained on the desk beneath you, shivering at the sound of Bajo’s deep, foreboding chuckle.
“What an obedient girl,” he mused, touching the ruler to your thigh and dragging it up to flip your skirt back, revealing your black, lacy panties. You jumped as his cold hand took hold of the waistband, pulling them down just enough to expose your ass in a way that somehow made you feel more exposed than if he’d taken them off altogether. You could feel Zhuk’s eyes on you, watching silently from behind his desk with his arms crossed in front of him, and you felt it best to sneak a glance at his face. You nearly choked on your tongue at the sight of him, gazing intently at the roundness of your ass like he didn’t know whether to kiss it, smack it, or make love to it. You never imagined your professor looking at you in such a way...well, no, you did, but you never expected those thoughts to come true.
“You will count them for us. Do you understand?” he finally said, his words dripping with a stoic desire that somehow fit him just right. You nodded nervously, your fingers already curling against the wood in anticipation. You heard the whistle of the ruler through the air before you felt it, smacking against your ass loudly though still drowned out by your even louder cry as the pain radiated across your skin. Still, you remembered their command and were afraid of what might happen if you did not obey.
“O-one…” you whimpered, your voice thick with unshed tears.
“What a smart girl,” Bajo said mockingly, bringing the ruler down again with a sharp crack. “Though apparently not smart enough to pay attention. Is it going to take a fucking spanking for you to learn your lesson, mierda por cerebros?”
Tears spilled from your eyes as you stammered out a quiet “Two...”, a hot rush of shame filling your belly not at your lack of attention span, but from how much you liked his degrading words and the pain of each smack of the ruler against your slowly reddening ass. And God, the fact that Zhuk was just watching, staring you down as you were slowly taken apart by his colleague...
“Don’t you have something to say to us, gatita?” Bajo asked angrily as he brought the ruler down for the tenth time. “You made us waste an hour trying to teach you something that you couldn’t pay attention to because you were too busy being a fucking slut. Don’t you feel like you owe us something?”
“I-I...I’m sorry,” you whimpered thickly, watching as your tears dripped onto the wood of Zhuk’s desk.
“Louder, malenk’iy,” Zhuk said sternly, finally moving closer to you and brushing his hand over the raised welts on your ass. You hissed, but still bucked into his touch.
“I’m sorry!” you cried out. “I’m sorry, sirs! I wasted your time, I was a bad girl, I’m sorry!”
“Si,” Bajo said softly, running the ruler soothingly over your ass for a moment before suddenly, his hand was in your hair, yanking your head back so he could press his mouth right against your ear. “And you forgot to count.”
Oh fuck. A deep sense of dread filled your belly, your eyes widening as your tears continued to pour down your cheeks.
“I, no wait, I’m sorry! Please, sir!” you begged, but his hand in your hair only tightened, pulling a choked off whimper out of your lips.
“Escarabajo,” Zhuk interjected, placing his hand on top of Bajo’s in your hair. Yes, your knight in shining armor, come to rescue you from your fate- “I believe it’s my turn.”
...Well, shit.
Your entire body shivered as Bajo’s hand was quickly replaced with Zhuk’s larger one, his touch gentler as he gripped your hair, pushing your head down until your cheek was pressed against the cool wood.
“You were a very bad girl, kukla,” he said sternly, using his free hand to finally pull your panties down until they pooled around your ankles. “Wasting our time, forgetting to count...perhaps a stricter punishment is in order.”
Your breath came out shakily as you heard him quickly unzip his zipper, his cock slapping against a welt on your ass and pulling a hiss from your lips. He chuckled darkly at the sound, letting his fingers trace gently over your reddened skin.
“What do you say, Escarabajo?” he asked, shooting Bajo a bemused look. “Would you like to keep her quiet for me?”
You could only imagine the wicked grin on Bajo’s face as he and Zhuk rearranged you, Zhuk still behind you while Bajo stood in front of you, your head now hanging off the edge of the desk and at eye-level with his hardening cock. He quickly freed himself from his pants, stroking it just inches from your lips with a soft groan.
“You bet your ass I would. Time to put your mouth to better use, muñeca,” he said, rubbing the head of his cock against your lips. You opened them obediently, allowing him to slide inside and moaning softly at the weight of his cock against your tongue as he hit the back of your throat with ease. Zhuk’s fingers, now wet, slid between your legs, teasing at your entrance before sliding inside, making you gasp around Bajo’s cock.
“That’s it, gatita,” he crooned, slowly starting to fuck into your mouth. “Fuck, she feels like fucking heaven, mi amigo.”
“Treat him well, kotenok,” Zhuk said, his voice hushed as he marvelled at how wet you were from a simple spanking. “See if this teaches you how to be a good girl, da?”
You moaned your assent around Bajo’s cock, looking up at him obediently as you did your best to pleasure him, bobbing your head in time with his thrusts as Zhuk’s fingers sent little bursts of pleasure all the way to your fingertips. You felt properly full, your mouth stretched around Bajo’s cock while a second and third finger slid inside you, Zhuk doing his best to stretch you in preparation for what you’d been fantasizing about for weeks. You never expected a second partner thrown into the mix, but you wouldn’t complain about the taste of him in your mouth, the delicious stretch in your jaw as you swallowed him down, the wonderful groans as he fucked down your throat…
It felt like an eternity when Zhuk finally pulled his fingers out of you, and you groaned in protest despite the ache slowly forming in your jaw. He chuckled, smacking his hand cheekily against your ass and amusing himself with your pained squeak.
“Are you ready for your punishment, dorogoy?” he asked, dragging the head of his cock through the wetness of your folds. Confusion and dread took hold in you- you knew you had to be punished, but what could he possibly have in store that they hadn’t already put you through? Finally, he pushed inside of you, his thick cock stretching you more than you could’ve imagined as you let out a long, low groan around Bajo’s cock. When he finally bottomed out, he groaned softly, reveling in the way your pussy clenched around him. With a smirk, he grabbed your hair from behind, holding onto it like a leash. “Because if you’re going to cum...you’re going to have to beg.”
Oh God. You could tell Bajo was getting close, his groans growing higher pitched and his thrusts growing more erratic, his cock sliding fully into your throat with each thrust inside. Your ministrations grew sloppier as you felt hot rushes of pleasure radiating through your body as Zhuk began to take you, his cock dragging so perfectly inside you. It was all rushing to your head, the feeling of being taken so completely, filled to the brim, taken apart piece by piece with unrelenting pleasure. You gazed up at Bajo, your eyes going cloudy as you silently pleaded for him to cum in your mouth, spill inside you, make you his. He obliged a second later, pushing fully into your mouth and holding your face against him as he spilled down your throat, his choked off moan reverberating throughout the small room. You obediently swallowed every drop, gasping for air as he pulled out of you and immediately slumped into the nearest chair, running his fingers through his hair with a blissed out look on his face.
“Ooh, gatita, look how pretty you are when you get fucked,” he crooned, leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees to watch you intently. “Give it to her a little harder, amigo, she can take more than that.”
Zhuk obliged, grunting as he sped up with ferocity, pulling on your hair to lift you off the desk so your back was pressed fully against his chest, his hand moving down to wrap around your throat as he took you so hard you thought he was trying to breed you. The very thought sent a warm shiver down your spine, along with Bajo’s eyes watching happily as your tits bounced from each of Zhuk’s thrusts. The head of his cock dragged perfectly against your G spot, pulling pitiful moans from your fucked out mouth.
“What a good little slut,” he growled, mouthing roughly at your neck. “Does someone want to cum?”
“I don’t know, mi amigo, she doesn’t seem to want it that badly,” Bajo said flippantly, his eyes glinting with mischief. You groaned in protest, trying to reach down to circle your fingers around your clit, but your hand was immediately slapped away, Zhuk growling a warning into your skin.
“I told you to beg,” he snarled, hovering his fingers teasingly over your clit, just an inch away from where you needed them to be. “Better make it pretty, too, if you want to cum.”
“P-please!” you whimpered, desperation quickly bubbling up inside of you as the pleasure halted just on the edge of oblivion, needing just a little more in order to boil over. With each thrust, the desperation grew, your hands frustratedly scrabbling for purchase on the desk as you were assaulted and teased with pleasure that refused to finally peak. “God, I need it so bad! Sir, please, please let me cum!”
“I can’t hear you,” he growled, tightening his hand around your throat until your voice was only a mere squeak. Bajo watched with delight, amused and aroused at the sight of you struggling and failing to beg for what you needed. “Louder!”
“PLEASE!” you cried out, frustrated at the bare whisper you somehow managed with the large hand clamping down on your throat. You whined at the sound of their laughter, but it quickly turned to a soft cry as his fingers finally descended on your clit, rubbing in perfect little circles as you finally toppled over the edge, cumming with a silent scream. The pleasure rushed through you like waves, and you sunk deeper and deeper as each one passed until you finally succumbed to the darkness quickly clouding your vision.
When you came to, you were surrounded with a pleasant warmth. Your eyes slid open to find your head nestled onto Zhuk’s chest, with Bajo curled up behind you with his head buried into your shoulder. You blinked away the fuzziness at the edges of your vision to see Zhuk smiling down at you, resting his head against his pillow.
“You got me to the bedroom while I was out?” you asked, nuzzling further into their embraces.
“Of course. It wasn’t exactly difficult, tsvetok,” Zhuk chuckled, stroking a hand comfortingly through your hair.
“What did you think, mariposa?” Bajo asked, pressing a sweet kiss to your shoulder before hooking his chin over it, smiling over at you. “Were we convincing?”
“Incredibly,” you yawned, smiling sleepily at them. “You make quite the literature professor, moy muzh.”
“Mm, well I’m glad you convinced us to humor you,” Zhuk replied, leaning down to press a soft kiss to your forehead. “Now go to sleep, moya lyubov. You’ve earned it.”
He didn’t need to tell you twice. Your eyes slipped shut happily, comforted by the embraces of your favorite boys as sleep once again claimed you.

So it’s like 6.30 am here: I’ve been knowingly awake since 5.45, yet I don’t think I really slept even before that. My temp and pain are all over the place lol and I have a full day at school (8.45-3.45, yes that is a 7 hour solid day.)
BESIDES THE POINT.
In this past 45 minutes I’ve come up with the most DELECTABLE scenario and I’d like to share it.
It starts on a Thursday. On Thursdays I have music p1+2, free p3+4, PSHE p5, then lunch, then English (Shakespeare) 6-9. Yes we have nine lessons.
And it begins with me forgetting my lunch on my mums kitchen counter which my boyfriend noticed when he let himself in later on in the day to sit with the dogs. Instantly, he picks my lunch up and packs me a few goodies before heading out to his car. During this I’m in a triggering PSHE lesson about topics I’d rather not think about so early in the morning.
When he arrives he charms the desk lady to let him in over the intercom and convinces her to accompany him from central office to my building. Someone in my block hears the low hum of his car and the engine shutting off once he parks, and instantly identifies it as a Jaguar, and proceeds to mouth this word to the entire class (all of sixth form, 30ish people) while in a very tense discussion.
Minutes later, the class is nearly over, and a 6ft+ figure clad in a ‘casual suit’ is looming outside the doorway, his frame but not his face visible to almost all of the class from the glass walls. I however sit in the far corner. Then, when chairs start moving and students begin standing, he gently knocks on the door and opens it with a rubber glove covered hand.
“So sorry to intrude,” says his suave voice to the two teachers in charge, the sound slightly muffled by his mask, “I’m just here to drop off a lunch. Do you mind?”
The staff shake their heads, and everyone in the class just kind of stares in awe as he carries a pink lunch bag around the room. He’s taller than the rest of the boys by a long shot, and dressed so impeccably, that’s not to mention the facial hair and the auburn man bun resting at the nape of his neck. He’s definitely older, they can tell, and they momentarily forget that they’re all meant to be signing out in order to head for lunch in the village. He looks... familiar to many of them.
Their eyes follow his, scanning the room, until he spots his destination. The small girl, cramped in her chair behind a single desk and between two towering bookshelves, book open before her and crutches by her side. He gains a bounce in his step at the sight of her red waves, nearly fastened with a ribbon, and he bounds over to her, alerting her to his presence by a hand on her shoulder. Or should I say, mine.
“Hiya princess,” he says. “Tom!” I almost shout in return, all decorum having flown out the window as I fling myself upon him, beaming from ear to ear despite the tear tracks on my pale cheeks. He curls his arms around me and holds my figure off the ground as he plucks the chair from behind my desk and seats himself down.
He brushes my hair from my temple and places a soft kiss to the centre of my forehead. “You feel warm sweetheart. Temperature okay?” I hum in reply. “Blood pressure? Oxygen? Heart?” I chuckle. “I’m fine, Tom.” But he won’t relent, even when he traces his finger up my spine. “All of your tablets? Heart? Pain? St-“ “yes tommy.”
With that final reassurance, he quietens down enough to ask why I’m crying, why I look so forlorn, but before I can respond, a nervous figure of only 5ft7 stands bear us, rocking on the balls of his feet. “Sorry, we just wanted to know if Lis is ok.” He says, and I scoff lightly. “No, you wanted to know why my boyfriend is here and who he is, isn’t that right Sam? You were just elected interrogator.”
He doesn’t even deny it, but he does move a palm to cover mine, startling my face up and alerting Tom to my mild discomfort. “So you’re Sam, are you?” To says contemptuously. “It was a tough lesson for her is all. I checked the schedule on the cooker, s*icide lesson just. It’s a triggering topic. She went through that for a long time and didn’t particularly need a reminder.” Sam almost looks upset by those words, and holds his arms open , almost as if inviting me for a hug. I look to Tom for reassurance, and move into Sams arms for just a moment before I detach myself. “Thanks Sam.” I say. “Would you mind getting me a cup of tea, babe?” And Tom stands up too.
A few minutes later and he’s back at my table with a mug of hot milky tea, disgracefully taken with sugar and without earl grey, but Tom steals a few sips nonetheless. We can hear people talking, but no one has the balls to talk to us for a while, until a girl with no social etiquette comes bouncing up and asks, “are you famous or something? You look proper familiar. Where’ve I seen your face before? Sure as hell isnt from her, you’d never know she exists for all she speaks.” Tom stifles a chuckle and pecks my lips before answering. “My name is Tom Hiddleston.”
A few murmurs erupt around the class, but nothing too major. It’s like they can place the name and the face but can’t put it together. “My perfect boyfriend is a top class actor,” I reply, something snide in my tone. “He’s performed brilliantly in movies such as I Saw the Light, Crimson Peak, High Rise and more; he won an award for his incredible acting in The Night Manager, a short series; and he has played Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Thor franchise. Not to mention that he was Coriolanus in the National Theatre Live production which he should’ve gotten an accolade for, and he’s also a unicef ambassador. Need I go on? He can sing, play guitar, piano, trumpet; he can juggle while holding beer between his feet, he can play rugby, and he can recite Shakespeare at the drop of a hat. Never once has he been in trouble for saying something offensive, and he’s the kindest soul I’ve ever known.”
A chorus of awwhs sound from odd places around the room once I finally die down, only to receive a sudden pash from Tom. I unravel the tie from his hair and let my fingers run through the curls, tugging gently at the roots as a sign of gratitude. A few people speak to us after that, but none of the interactions of signing autographs and taking pictures and such (good natured tommyyyy), are as memorable as when a man with even less social graces than the girl before.
“So are you two shagging or not?!” He shouts from the kitchenette. Tom and I share a glance before I concede and let him take this one. He gently tugs at the collar of his shirt and moves his neck to the side. The bruising purple marks, the faint scratches... they’re answer enough and people begin to ooooooh. He sits and runs his hands up my arms and my spine and my hair while I finish my lunch, and Tom then carries me and my bag and my crutches over to the other side of the stairs for my afternoon class.
“Miss, this is Tom Hiddleston, my boyfriend.” I say. She seems instantly enamoured and leaps into questioning him about Shakespeare and his favourite performances and his favourite books. He answers all of her questions before leaping into his favourite Shakespearean monologue, absolutely dazzling my teacher. “Would you care to stay in our lesson this afternoon? I’m sure you have some wonderful insight.” She offers, and he graciously accepts. “I studied the tempest at university, and I do quite enjoy the play. I’d love to share my thoughts.”
And that’s where I got up to really got at the end of the day he walks me to his car and we drive home lol. It took me almost an hour to write this plz appreciate it.

rooibos and earl grey for the café asks! 🌸
thank you so much for sending this in, angel!! ♡
Tumblr media
Rooibos: What is one of you favourite books?
Sophie’s World. All the classics of philosophy in one book. One of my all time favorites as it offers a different approach to the history of philosophy. It’s not everyones cup of tea, specifically if you dislike a lot of dialogue. Nonetheless it gives you a great insight.
Earl Grey: Which countries have you visited?
The Netherlands. Belgium. France. Italy. Spain. Austria. Switzerland. Poland. Egypt. United States (New York).

Daily Drabble, 9th of January
“A character is given some insightful advice by someone they trust but don’t get to see that often” Prompt from @writingprompts365
also available on Ao3
[previous drabble] [next drabble]
approx. 950 words
Little Witch Academia, Diana Cavendish x Akko Kagari
"What did you bring me all the out to Glastonbury to see?" Akko asked. As if on cue a limousine pulled up on the street next to them. A familiar figure stepped out and the car drove away.
"It's my boy Andrew Hanbridge!" Amanda declared.
"Andrew!" Akko lunged for a hug, which Andrew side-stepped with a fencer's grace."
"It's a pleasure to see you again, Akko," he said. "How is your magical education going?"
"Awesome as always," Akko said. "How's politics?"
"As dry as ever."
"Damn, Hanbridge," Amanda said, elbowing him in the side. "I figured if anyone could make politics wet, it'd be you."
Andrew grimaced. "And you're as tasteful as ever, Miss O'Neill."
Amanda dabbed in response.
The trio made their way to a café and Andrew suggested they take an outside table, knowing that way the noise the two girls would inevitably cause would disturb other customers as little as possible. They got their orders: an Earl Grey tea for Andrew, a pile of sweets and pastries for Amanda, a coffee with insane amounts of sugar and cream for Akko. As soon as they were settled, Amanda launched right into interrogation mode.
"So, Hanbridge," she said. "How are you doing in the chick department? Or the fella' department? Or both?"
"Bold of you to assume I have time for such dalliances," Andrew said. He turned the question back on the girls. "And how are your romantic prospects?"
"Romance?" Amanda looked disgusted. "What kind of a mush-headed softie do you take me for?"
Amanda and Andrew looked at Akko and waited for her answer.
"What, me? I'm not all lovey-dovey with anyone. Hey, why are you two looking at me like that?"
Andrew grinned. "It seems to me as if you aren't being entirely honest with us. Wouldn't you agree, Miss O'Neill?"
"Damn right I do," Amanda said. "Akko's got the hots for someone and everyone knows it."
Akko was genuinely confused. "What are you talking about? Wait, are you saying I've got a chance with a hottie? Who!?"
Amanda and Andrew looked at each other and back at Akko. "Diana Cavendish," they said in unison.
"What?" Akko laughed. "I don't have a thing for Diana. She's my rival."
"Is that truly the nature of your relationship?" Andrew asked. "I understand that you've been getting closer to her."
"Of course I've been getting closer to her," Akko said. "She's my rival. I'm going to get closer and closer and then before she even knows what's happening, I'll be the one on top!"
Amanda groaned. "Jennifer's tits, do you even hear yourself?"
"I see," Andrew said, not addressing the double-entendre. "And what will you do should you achieve your goal and best Diana?"
Akko opened her mouth to answer before she realized she had nothing to say. "What do you mean?"
"If you become a better witch than Diana, you won't have any reason to chase after her any more," Andrew explained. "She won't be your rival anymore."
"But, she..." Akko realized that Diana didn't care about being the best and would make no effort to continue their contest. Diana didn't even see them as rivals.
"Hey, maybe someone else will end up being her rival," Amanda said, a slight tease in her voice. "Then someone else will be getting closer to Diana and—what was it you said?—be on top."
"No!" Akko scowled. "I'm the only one who can be her rival! No one else!"
"There's no need to be so possessive over your rival," Andrew said. He grinned. "Unless of course, you don't really mean 'rival' when you say it."
"Crush!" Amanda pretend-coughed.
Akko's cheeks turned pink. " I don't have a crush! I just want to be better than her! And that means I have to be close to her all the time so I can learn her weaknesses! Just because I like spending time with her doesn't mean anything! And so what if I think she's really nice, and pretty, and..."
Andrew and Amanda's eyebrows rose higher and higher as Akko spoke.
"Oh heck," Akko said. "I have a crush on Diana."
"No," Amanda said, faking surprise, "really?"
"Congratulations," Andrew said. "You're gay for Diana."
"Oh no!" Akko wailed. "I'm gay for Diana! What do I do!?"
"Pray to the sapphic goddesses," Amanda said. "You're in for a rough time if you go after the princess."
Andrew scratched his chin. His mind went to Diana's unusual fondness for Akko, and they way the two of them held hands when they fired off the final Shiny Arc. He doubted Akko would have too much trouble wooing Diana.
"If you want to court a woman of Diana's breeding," Andrew said, "there's one simple thing you should keep in mind."
"What's that?" Akko was on the edge of her seat.
"Be yourself."
"What!?" Amanda yelled. "That's terrible advice!"
"Are you sure about that?" Akko gave Andrew a dubious look. "I mean, I'm great, but I don't think I'm Diana's type. Shouldn't you be telling me to, like, learn a bunch of rich people manners or something?"
Andrew shook his head. "You're not the first person to be interested in Diana, but you are the first to get close to her. That's because you don't care about her status or her family name. If you start pretending to be someone you're not because you think that's what you want, she'll only turn you away like the others."
"Just be Akko. No one else can do that."
"Oh." Akko had never heard anyone praise her for being her. "Uh, okay. Thanks. I'll try that."
"Now that we've gotten the mushy stuff out of the way," Amanda said, "I want to hear more about how Akko wants to top Diana."
"Sh-shut up!"

arrowing towards home
for @tessa-quayle
“Oh, hang on, happy Boxing Day. Are you going to let me in?” Vivian said. She managed to look simultaneously extremely chic in a wool coat the color of currants and a Burberry cashmere scarf and nearly disheveled, laden down with carrier bags of such a variety of sizes Gareth found himself peering behind her for an accompanying Sherpa, once the initial shock of her appearance had passed.
“Of course, come in. Let me take some of those,” he replied, reaching out for the closest items, inhaling her scent as she leaned forward. She preferred classic perfumes, but somehow, they never seemed old-fashioned or stodgy when she wore them, only elegant and evocative of other times and places, rich with memory, suggesting futures he’d once forsworn. Today’s had the smoky sweetness of an early Guerlain.
“Thank you,” she said. She draped her coat over a chair and settled some of the parcels on the marquetry console table, then glanced at him more seriously. “I hope I didn’t wait too long.”
“For what?” he asked, gesturing her in towards the sitting room. She’d been several times before, but they’d spent the majority of their time in his bedroom; he had made sorties to the kitchen for sustenance, but she had remained in bed or in the large cast iron tub that he’d once considered ripping out. She put another bag down on the end of the leather chesterfield.
“To make you take a break,” she said. She fished a clearly hand-knit afghan from the bag and piled it on the sofa. She patted the spot beside the throw and said, “Sit down. Slow down.”
 “Vivian?”
“This last case, you’re going to drive yourself to death over it, if you’re not careful, and you’re not. So, I guess I’ll have to be,” she explained.
“It’s not just any case, you know that,” he retorted. There was so much at risk, so few people he could trust…
“I know that, Gareth. I also know there’s no way to hurry the lab results and we can’t do anything without them. And whatever Bond’s going to do, that’s out of your hands,” she said, more patiently than he might have expected. Priscilla had never been without the hint of asperity in her voice, but though Vivian didn’t suffer fools gladly, she did not readily allow her irritation to color to tone.
“I feel sure there’s something in that latest report, I’ve just missed it,” he replied. “I can’t afford to take a break, as you say. There’s too much riding on this bloody case.” He pinched the bridge of his nose, felt the tension in his shoulders like a carapace he’d never shed. He’d have to recheck all the data, look for what wasn’t there…
“For fuck’s sake, Gareth, stop it! You need to rest, you need to accept you’re not super-human,” she cried out, suddenly as angry as he’d ever seen her. She took a deep breath, then began again. “You trust me, don’t you?”
He’d never articulated it to himself so bluntly, but there it was. The crucial question and he had the answer.
 “Yes.”
“Then, please, don’t make me say ‘doctor’s orders’ or try to trick you into it. Just—just, sit down. I’ll make a pot of tea, I brought loose-leaf, not bags, don’t worry, I know what you like,” she said. What he liked and what he needed.
“I can’t let you play kitchen-maid to serve me, Vivian,” he said.
“While that’s an insight into your fantasy-life I was A) not anticipating learning today and B) have no intention of acting on, you can very well let me make a fucking pot of Earl Grey while you park yourself on the couch. I have a tagine ready for dinner and there’s a Doctor Who marathon playing today that I bet you weren’t going to allow yourself to watch,” she replied tartly.
“How do you even know I like Doctor Who?” he asked. He suspected he had lost the upper hand, if he’d ever had it, but he had to try.
“Really? That’s your question? Fine. You’re a Briton of a certain age…and you have a tie covered in tiny Daleks,” she answered, over her shoulder as she walked to the kitchen with another of her carrier bags. What else lurked in their depths? He expected he’d find out, soon enough.
“That only means someone gave me the tie,” he called.
“You kept it,” she countered. Christ, she was quick. Brilliant and lovely and kinder than he deserved.
“And if I don’t want to spend the next eight hours watching Time Lords?” he said. He heard her moving about in the kitchen, the sound of water running and the delicate clatter of china being removed from cupboards.
“I brought Lawrence of Arabia, that’s good for four hours, and it goes with the tagine. I got it from Momo, it smells exquisite,” she said promptly.
“I see you’ve planned everything out to the last detail,” he said. That was usually his role; the experience of coming second in anything was a novel one. And with Vivian, an unadulterated pleasure.
“I triaged and prepared for contingencies. I’m fairly good at that,” she replied, walking back in with the Limoges pot and two matching tea-cups on a tray, a dish of sliced lemon and the little jug that would hold the milk he preferred all balanced perfectly. There was even a plate of the Hobnobs he would never admit to loving.
“That’s perhaps the greatest understatement of the century,” he said, taking the cup she offered. The milk swirled amid the autumn color of the steeped tea and he let the steam play against his parted lips. She busied herself with the television, then settled next to him, her head resting on his shoulder. He could kiss her, shift them so she was in his arms, the tea-cup placed precariously on the end table, but he felt the most delicious lassitude take him as she drew the afghan up over them both. Later, there would be time for love-making; now, he watched the screen flicker, her profile lovely and all that he could see of her.
“I may need a little more background on this. Wikipedia was only so helpful,” she said, adjusting so she was pressed even more closely to him, warm and everything he’d needed. Everything he couldn’t ask for, but could be thankful for.
“I’ll do my best,” he said.
“I know, Gareth. You always do.”

As I entered the bright white building, I heard the quiet whirring of small machines. I weaved through the museum doing my best to interpret and experience the art but couldn’t shake a feeling of familiarity. Then it hit me, I’ve seen this same artist before in NYC! Who would have guessed we would find a slice of the big apple in the small town of Marfa.

25 Coolest Things to Do in Marfa TX
We ended our West Texas Road Trip in Marfa. Before visiting, we knew very little of the area other than hearing about the artsy community and seeing Prada Marfa and El Cosmico on instagram.
Marfa truly surprised us and felt like an anomoly. It’s quaint and charming and has small town vibes, but it’s also is completely different from any small town we’ve previously seen.
We found it hard to describe, and it almost felt like the twilight zone. We expected to find eclectic desert art and instead found an art scene as sophisticated as NYC. Sometimes it felt like a small town in West Texas, and other times it felt like a neighborhood in Brooklyn.
If you’re planning a trip out to Marfa, we’ve put together a guide to help you plan your trip.

What You Need to Know Before You Visit Marfa
Like a lot of the small towns in West Texas, hours are limited. Visit between Thursday to Sunday for the best experience, but even then there’s no guarantee that all businesses will be open.
Be flexible with your schedule. Even with posted hours, some stores and restaurants may close. Some even run out of food and close once the food is out. They’ve adopted a siesta mentality and close whenever they feel like it.
The closest major airport is in El Paso (about 3 hours away). Take advantage of your location and see other surrounding sites in West Texas. Here is our road trip guide.
Renting a car is the best way to get around town. When we talked to locals and asked about Uber, they said there are only 1-2 drivers locally.
Talk to locals to find out what else is going on around town. We heard about a free concert from a bartender which was the perfect way to end the night.
Cell phone coverage can be spotty. We have T-mobile and it worked in most cases but as soon as we were out of the main area, we lost signal.
If you plan on visiting during a holiday weekend, book early. This has become a popular destination.
Marfa is in a desert climate. it gets hot during the day but chilly at night. Have layers ready. During the winter, it can snow and gets dangerous to drive.
1. Marfa Mystery Lights

Inner Abundance: Affirmations for Confidence, Creativity, and Higher Consciousness - Candy Paull
Inner Abundance: Affirmations for Confidence, Creativity, and Higher Consciousness Affirmations for Confidence, Creativity, and Higher Consciousness Candy Paull Genre: Self-Improvement Price: $1.99 Publish Date: September 11, 2009 Publisher: Candy Paull Seller: Smashwords, Inc. Abundance begins in the heart… Inner Abundance gently helps you look at life from another perspective. You'll find fresh insight on the small joys that you often take for granted or miss in the rush of modern living. This inspirational guide offers simple ways to cultivate a more meaningful and more abundant life. Abundance is an inside job. It begins with love. When you are creating a career, a craft, a partnership, a work of art, a home, choose to put your whole heart into what you do. When you give attention and love to your work and your relationships, they begin to glow with Divine life. The energies of love and a high quality of attention create wholeness in your life and in this world. What you think about affects how you feel about your life. Learning to focus your awareness by affirming the goodness of life is a wonderful tool for developing awareness and trust. The meditations, quotes, and affirmations in this book remind you that true abundance is available every day, no matter what you may be going through. Discover your hidden potential to create a happier and more satisfying life. Learn to embrace what is already yours with thankfulness, joy, and the expectancy of even more good to come. Inner Abundance reveals the treasures of the heart with effective ways to create and celebrate abundance every day. Candy Paull’s writing is the readable equivalent of Earl Grey tea, steeped in a pot, and served in your grandmother's china. That is: it warms you through and through. Victoria Moran, bestselling author of Creating a Charmed Life Sample prayers from Inner Abundance; Affirmative prayer: The future is not waiting for us. We create it by the power of imagination. Pir Vilayat Khan I have the power to create great abundance. I now claim that power, sense it growing and expanding within. I know that this power is the Life Force wishing to express itself through me. I welcome this living, loving energy into my life and know that I am being transformed in this moment. I choose to nurture this seed of faith within and to cultivate spiritual fruit in my life. Before I prayed, God has already answered, and I rejoice in the flow of energy, passion, goodness, and joy that overflows in my heart. I thank God that this is so. Affirmative prayer: We are a stream whose source is hidden. Always our being is descending into us from we know not whence. Ralph Waldo Emerson I ask and it is already given to me: pressed down, shaken together, overflowing, running over—life in abundance, love in the light of Divine love and light. My cup overflows, my barns and granaries are full. I release all fear of scarcity and lack, knowing that I am perfectly supplied by an endless flow of Divine energy. There is plenty for me and there is plenty to share with others. I rejoice in the gift of God's gracious abundance. Affirmative prayer: The joy of life is to put out one's power in some natural and useful or harmless way. Oliver Wendell Holmes Creative work is a healing adventure. As I allow myself to create, I learn new and wonderful life lessons. I heal myself and I heal others through my creativity. I am free to be creative. I can invent something original. Or I can learn from copying a masterpiece. All attempts at creativity are honored and allowed. I do not judge the work. I do the work and allow it to become what it is supposed to be. I do not judge myself, but allow myself to grow and blossom into the full flower of my unique gifts and talents. I do what I love and I love what I do. http://dlvr.it/R1P4Bb

Taking The Lead (Spencer x Reader)
A/N: guys I am so sorry for not posting in such a long time! The only Internet I had was at school because I ran out of data and my parents changed the wifi password. I had internet at school but Tumblr is blocked on it (of freaking course) so I couldn’t go on and I missed you guys so much! Anyways I really enjoyed writing this unique imagine and thanks for requesting it anon!! Warnings: slight smut Pairing: Spencer x reader Prompt: the reader is the new British member of the team and Spencer secretly has a thing for English accents and the team tease him about it because he constantly blushes and he hides his lower half whenever you talk, the reader hasn’t quite caught onto the fact that spencer likes her so she’s asks why he covers his crotch when she talks and he ends up having to explain that she turns him on Request: ✅ Upcoming Imagine: reader is victim… ~ “Attention, this is SSA Y/N L/N from the Behavioral Insights Team in London. She will be replacing JJ until further notice.” Aaron Hotchner said introducing you. “Hello. I’m Y/N.” You said shaking a black haired lady who open her mouth in surprise at your accent. “Wow not only are you from London you’ve got the accent as well!! It’s nice to meet you.” She said shaking your hand. “I’m Jennifer Jareau! I’m excited to work with you.” A blonde lady said shaking your hand. After shaking everyone’s hands, you noticed you missed someone. He was tall, definitely handsome, and looked a little socially awkward. “Hi.” You said waving to him, who was standing behind everyone else. “H-Hi! I’m Dr. Spencer Reid but you-you can just call me Spencer or Reid what-whatever works.” He said stumbling over his words. “It’s nice to meet you.” You said holding your hand out to shake his. “Oh he doesn’t really shake…” Emily said before he firmly took it. You were a little confused as to what she was saying but you thought it was probably a misunderstanding. He shook your hand just fine. - After a little while you settled with the rest of the team for a case. “Alright two women have been found dead in back alleys behind restaurants. One woman was named Kylee Carey and the other Lauren Reeves. Both are blonde, successful woman. We believe a few witnesses can tell sketch artists a brief description of what he looks like. They are coming in around noon today so we can deliver the profile before the end of the day.” Garcia explained showing pictures. “He has a preference for victims so that makes it easier to warn the community.” You said noticing the common similarities in the victims. You saw Spencer shift next to you, which you just ignored. But throughout the day he kept doing it and you started to notice a pattern. Do you make him uncomfortable? You two were sitting in a room alone with the evidence board, while everyone else did their tasks. “Are you okay?” You ask him noticing his back facing you. “Yeah. Yeah I’m okay.” He said slightly turning around. “Are you sure? Do you need anything? I was actually about to make some tea if you want some.” You said with a small smile. He turned his whole body towards you for the first time today and nodded softly. “Alright, do you like Earl Grey?” You ask digging in your purse for some tea that you brought. “I do yeah.” He said with a smile. That’s the first time you have seen him smile and it made butterflies explode in your stomach. You left the little room to the coffee pot, where a kettle was and you warmed up some water. Then you heard walking behind you. “Hey sorry umm if I’ve been distant around you. I’m just kind of umm… awkward I guess. I’d like to get to know you a little better.” Spencer said standing on the other side of the counter. “I would love to get to know you too! First question I’ve been dying to ask is how come you go by ‘doctor’?” You asked handing him the cup of warm tea. “First thank you for the tea and second I have three PhD’s. One in Engineering, Chemistry and Mathematics. I also have three BA’s in Philosophy, Sociology, and Psychology.” He explained. “Wow that many in such a short time. How did you do that? A lot of free time on your hands?” You ask walking towards the small room again. You noticed Spencer almost panic as he followed. “I have an eidetic memory, an uh IQ of 187 and I can read 20,000 per minute.” He said clearing his throat. Something is off. Then you saw it. As he sat down he grabbed his messenger bag and covered his lower half. Do… do you turn him on? What could you possibly do that gives him a boner? “Spencer can I ask you something? I mean you don’t have to answer, but if you don’t answer your kind of answering it.” You say. “Go ahead.” He said with a small smile. “May I ask why you keep covering… um yourself when I talk to you?” You ask awkwardly. “Oh um heh it's… it’s embarrassing I’m sorry you noticed umm… I guess I kind of um have this thing for… this is stupid.” He started. “No it’s okay. Finish what you were saying. I’m interested.” You say walking closer to him. “Umm I have this thing for accents, I guess, British ones really get me off.” He said looking into your eyes. His hand were folding over his crotch as you stood in front of him. “So… your saying I turn you on?” You ask biting your lower lip. “God yes.” He said waiting for your next move. You grabbed his hands and pulled them apart, interlocking your fingers with his. “Well, I would be lying if I said I didn’t feel the same way.” You said standing on your tiptoes leaving your lips centimeters apart. “Really?” He asked cheerfully, not taking the opportunity to capture your lips in his. “Your not really the dominant one are you?” You ask shutting the blinds to the small window and locking the door. “What-what are you doing?” He asked as you approached him again. “Taking the lead.” You said pushing him against the wall and taking his lips in yours. His lips were soft and innocent, as well as his hands. They stayed at your mid back as you loosened his tie. You took his wrists in your hands and slid them down to your hips. “Don’t be afraid, Doctor.” You said as he looked into your eyes. A spark of confidence lit his face up when you called him 'doctor’. He spun you around, pinning you against the wall with his hips as his hands rummaged through your hair. You dropped to your knees but right when your hands went to his belt there was a knock on the door. “Y/L/N, Reid? Are you in there?” You heard Aaron Hotchner say. “Yeah.” You said mouthing to Spencer to fix his tie. He frantically did as you opened the door to half of the team. “We found a diameter of our UnSubs disposal sites.” Spencer said inconspicuously, trying to play it cool. Hotch looked from both of you and left, leaving Derek Morgan. “What were you two pretties doing in here?” He asked teasingly. “Working out the investigation.” You said avoiding eye contact with the dark man. “Reid your hair seems more bed-headish that usual.” He said ruffling Spencer’s hair. “Knock it off.” Spencer said swatting his hand away. You smirked a little as you looked at the evidence board. You followed Derek out but before you left the room you turned around. “To he continued.” You said to Spencer, who’s eyes got big as he followed you out.

10 Cookware & Tableware You Should Get from Japan
Not sure what cookware and tableware you should check out while visiting Japan?  Here are 10 things that are worth bringing back in your suitcase from Japan.
One of the most frequently asked questions I receive from JOC readers is what cookware and tableware they should buy when they visit Japan. With limited suitcase space, I understand I can’t suggest everything.  Living in the U.S., I have trouble finding certain Japanese cookware and tableware from local stores or online stores, so I made a recommended list here for you.
My suggestions are really for someone who enjoys cooking Japanese food frequently and appreciates Japanese household items (if that’s not you, these also make great gift ideas for that person in your life who loves Japanese culture and cuisine!).  If you’re lucky, you may be able to purchase these items easily where you are, but generally, these items are pretty difficult to find and can be very expensive compared to the price you pay while you’re in Japan.
Thank goodness my kids’ clothes are not giant yet, so I could lease some of their suitcase space for these items (and let them carry it for me)!  I hope you find the list helpful and insightful.
1. Adjustable Stainless Steel Otoshibuta (Drop Lid) 落とし蓋
Otoshibuta or drop lid is an essential Japanese cooking gadget for all kinds of simmered foods. It’s a kitchen tool that is not so common outside of Japanese cooking, hence it’s hard to find it in kitchen shops in the U.S.
For the longest time, I’ve been waiting for someone or some company to sell these adjustable stainless steel otoshibuta on Amazon, but no luck yet. MTC Kitchen sells it for $19, but you can find an otoshibuta for less than $10 in Japan. This particular one above is around ¥800 ($8). So grab one (or two for your Japanese cooking buddy) when you visit Japan!
2. Tamagoyaki Pan 玉子焼きフライパン
Yes, there are some non-stick Tamagoyaki pans such as this copper Tamagoyaki pan available on Amazon. But the quality of some pans I purchased before was not very good. If you do make tamagoyaki for your children’s bento or for your breakfast regularly, you might as well stop by a kitchen store and get one while visiting Japan. Here you can find my favorite T-fal brand in the picture below (top left) at Tokyu Hands in Shibuya store.
See all the choices of brands and sizes? These are much better quality and less expensive compared to ones you can find on Amazon.
3. Ladles お玉
You may think I’m silly for listing a ladle on your Japan shop list. But true story… I had a really hard time finding the perfect ladle for serving miso soup. All the ladles I purchased in the U.S. are a bit too big to serve into standard size miso soup bowls. I may sound picky, but I’ve purchased enough ladles to try and all the ladles that I end up keeping are all from Japan. Let me say this, the size, shape, angle of the stem, and the material of these ladles from Japan are just perfect. I rest my case.
Here I took the picture at Kappabashi Kitchen Town.  So many different sizes, shapes, and utility of ladles!  I also recommend visiting supermarkets (especially the one that has a 2nd floor for home and kitchen goods), Tokyu Hands, and even department store kitchen floor. Try holding the ladles and see the difference!
4. Rice Bowls & Miso Soup Bowls お茶碗・お味噌汁椀
Rice bowls and miso soup bowls are something that we use daily for Japanese families. We have MANY, many variations of rice bowls and miso soup bowls in Japan. High-quality wooden miso soup bowls that are made in Japan are hard to find in the US. While you’re traveling in Japan, grab some wooden bowls. They are light, easy to bring back, and make your daily miso soup more fun and elegant!
I bought these rice bowls with Mount Fuji drawings that come with assorted colors. They bring a smile to my children and me every day.  Find the one that makes you smile whether the bowl has a cute cat drawing or beautiful cherry blossoms, or it might be the right color that attracts you.
5. Bamboo Baskets
Bamboo products are so much easier to find in Asia. Japan offers amazing hand-woven bamboo products that are made in Japan. There are a lot of bamboo specialized stores and you might spot them while traveling, especially when you visit Kyoto, Takayama, Kamakura, and more traditional cities.
6. Ramen Bowls
Unlike donburi (rice bowl dish) bowls that rims go straight up, ramen bowls have a wide opening on the top with rim going outward.  This is especially helpful when your ramen has lots of toppings.
See the picture above? My ramen in a donburi bowl look very clustered, but when you serve the noodles in the ramen bowl, the ingredients have room to present themselves.
And, you can actually see the soup!  So, if you’re a huge ramen fan, do get some ramen bowls when you’re in Japan.  Good quality and good looking ramen bowls are so hard to get in the U.S.  I got mine at Kappabashi Kitchen Town.
On the other hand, if you love donburi dishes, do get a variety of donburi bowls. Donburi is very common meal in Japan, hence we have SO MANY kinds of beautiful donburi bowls.
7. Chopsticks & Chopstick Rests
Even years before I started photo shooting my recipes, I’ve been a collector of chopstick rests. Something about them that is so attractive. Maybe because they are small and I love everything miniature.
If you are in Japan, you will see a lot of cute stores that sell kitchen and home goods. I love to stop by to check out some unique chopstick rests and chopsticks whenever I get a chance. Instead of buying a set of 4-5 pairs, I only buy one chopstick rest and a pair of chopsticks that I love from each store. I enjoy picking out which chopsticks and chopstick rests that would go well together, and everyone would have a different set.  The mismatch is supposed to be fun!
8. Magewappa Bento Box
Bento (lunch box) is not only for children, adults can also enjoy it at school, work, or even at home. These wooden bento boxes, called the Magewappa (曲げわっぱ), not only is environmentally friendly, but they also make your lunches so much more appetizing and presentable.
It’s a lot more inexpensive to buy bento boxes in Japan than trying to buy online. You can purchase Magewappa at any tableware and bento stores, but it’s a lot easier to go to Tokyu Hands or a bento box section of the kitchen floor in department stores.
I forgot to mention. Bento box for adult is also great for portion control and perfect for those who try to lose some weight (aka me…).
9. Chiffon Cake Pans
I love baking chiffon cakes, so several years ago I bought two different cake pans (17cm and 20cm) in Japan and brought them home with me. Japanese chiffon cake pans are affordable and SUPER easy to use. I like that they come with a slim and tall shape, which are great when comes to making beautiful looking chiffon cakes compared to a flatter angel food cake pan.
This aluminum chiffon cake pan from Asai Shoten (浅井商店) is VERY famous and you can go to the store in Kappabashi Kitchen Town to find them.
With these pans, you can make my Meyer Lemon Chiffon Cake, Green Tea Chiffon Cake, Orange Chiffon Cake, and Earl Grey Chiffon Cake.
10. Plates & Bowls
Some people enjoy shopping for clothes and shoes, but I enjoy getting new kitchen gadgets, pots and pans, and my endless love – plates and bowls. I especially love ceramics from Japan that are so delicate, unique, and of course, handmade.
Some of the plates and bowls are from my grandmother, so they are sentimental pieces to me. My mom kept them in boxes for me knowing that I would need these for Just One Cookbook. I am just happy that I can continue to use this special heirloom tableware.
Picture below – Things I brought back in 2018: Mostly from my mom and grandma’s collections and a few gifts from my friends.
Picture below – Things I brought back in 2018: These are actually from Thailand – I brought them to Japan, and then brought them back to the US.
Picture below – Things I brought back in 2018: These white plates are all from Le Baise in Kappabashi Kitchen Town in Tokyo.
Picture below – Things I brought back in 2018: Unfortunately, this happened a few times, even though I had carefully wrapped them individually. I’ll be going to a Kintsugi Workshop to fix my grandmother’s tea bowl in San Francisco this November.
Picture below – Things I brought back in 2017: Ceramics from my trip to Bangkok on top and the rest are Japanese ceramics.
Picture below – Things I brought back in 2016: Majority of ceramics are from a department store Takashimaya in Yokohama. The rest are from my mom.

The rest are from my mom.

yeah dude my brothers make bank and they always offer to buy me groceries so bless them. in ms-hs i was really involved in the SAFE program at davis, not sure if you’ve heard about it! it’s an asian american org and was always great+very insightful for me. not advertising i swear!! awh good luck with english and your papers! sounds like you’re never gonna be running away from writing lmao and yeah about that, im trynna switch my major atm and go into human development. i have a friend (1/?)
that works in the department at davis already too and he’s willing to help me out if i transfer so that’s lit. see man i got so many people and connections at davis issa shame i couldn’t go there ;-; but it’s my fault, i was waitlisted and they eventually accepted me but i didnt see the email until a month later and they give u a 1 week deadline to reply… so.. ye there’s my tragic story.. eYY lmk your results if you do hop back on! and yes omg xmen is so.. like biologically cool bc every- (2/?)
thing’s explained and ur like so when am i gonna like get some powers lol genes wya. YES IT IS!! omg wow we’ll be in such close proximity of each other that’s wild?? AND RIGHT LMAO KOOK HAD ME HOLLERIN bc i could imagine it so vividly. but really?? no way!! that’s crazy bc it’s so popular, it’s abg central but the drinks are bomb i swear on my LIFE em. i usually go for okinawa or plain milk t tea if im not at pekoe. i have an essay due monday so i have to be working on that all day tomorrow (3/?
but other than that i prob wont be doing much! oh and tell me about some of your childhood/favorite shows! (4/4) -sjsu
i haven’t heard about that actually but it sounds so cool! especially since it’s an asian american org too. i haven’t gotten around to joining any orgs and part of me half-regrets it since i really do like doing those kinds of things. i was a club president back in high school and i was always stressed and top of my shit but in the best way tbh??? but yeah, that’s amazing that you enjoyed it so much! thank you though! i’ll just have to work hard to finish this quarter strong so i’m taking all the luck i can get
ooh, human development! my roomie’s considering minoring in that since she wants to be an elementary school teacher. that’s so tight that you have so many connections already dude. :( i had a friend who was waitlisted and was gonna go to sac state but switched back to davis since they wound up admitting her a few afterwards jkdhgruijngs regardless, i can’t wait for you to come here and hopefully we can meet and hang!
i will!!! i promise!!!! and dude, yes, i fuckin’ love that their explanation has some scientific plausibility, though i don’t know a whole lot of its accuracy since i am only a mere English major - i still like to hope and think it’s pretty damn accurate tbh. but god, imagine having a power??? what would your power be? i’m torn being being an empath or manipulating time, because with empathy if i worked hard enough to develop my skill i’d actually be able to mimic powers (i spent a lot of time looking into powers when i was doing this writing thing with an old friend of mine) or with time manipulation i could actually.... teleport like How Awesome would that be ksdfhsjfskfskfs
MOOD. i love that thread and i wish it’d come into fruition tbh. also, oooh okinawa! i’ve tried that one. i’ve tried different ones but i always jump between earl grey and wintermelon since they’re both classics to me. i wanna try pekoe now :( also, omfg good luck on your paper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
a few of my favorite childhood shows have gotta be totally spies, teen titans, kim possible, courage the cowardly dog, and scooby doo. god i loved those shows so much, especially teen titans! omg and american dragon: jake long!!!!!!! nowadays, i watch agents of s.h.i.e.l.d. and i think that’s it lmao. i used to watch teen wolf (hated it after season 3b), once upon a time (the most recent season is pretty wonky to me and idk i just fell hella behind and i’m too lazy to try catching up), and the 100 (like the first two seasons were good but then it started getting meh with the major characters deaths and the ways they went about the character development... though i’d call it more like underdevelopment in more ways). what about you?
