5- Great fluff piece

I answered this one already but there can never be too much fluff so here's another one: @keldabe-kriff's Breathtaking Sunrise. Actually, all of Lyr's Small Joys because they're exactly what's on the tin - flufflets that are just about finding the magic in the little things. This one is a particularly sweet moment between Joel & Ellie that I think about often.

Starman by @imtryingmybeskar. Its a really cool take on an intergalactic soulmate AU with Ezra, and it's beautifully descriptive. AND THERE'S A DOG.

Favorite way to spend a day by myself, usually making some yummy food, maybe bake something, read for a bit and enjoy the quiet, and of course, write fanfiction 🥰

Perfect coffee order is an almond milk mocha iced or hot depending on the weather.

Favorite Din moment? Oh this is very hard to choose, but I think it's at the beginning of Chapter 14 when he's saying Grogu’s name and chuckling when Grogu reacts. That whole scene is adorable, but it's those few seconds of Din saying the name and then laughing that are so light-hearted and sweet and it gets me every time 🥹🥹🥹

(Runner-up, the wires scene where Din really thought a baby could help him fix the ship 😂)

3. Favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year?

Did I start listening to whatever mike this year or was that last year? I don't remember, but i did definitely listen to a lot of their stuff this year. i highly recommend them, they're a trans indie artist with a beautiful voice and expression.

also, bruce springsteen?? like. this is not the first time in my life that i've listened to his stuff, but i never listened this deeply and closely, a new album every week for months.

6. Episode of tv or webisode that defined the year for you?

3.06 Ted Lasso - "Sunflowers". that show, and television in general, really reached a new high there. unparalleled ever since. to me. never wanted anything as much as middle aged gay cunt Trent Crimm, and this episode gave me all that and more <3

11. Something you want to do again next year?

Probably go to another comic con, because this one was fun. also, probably go to museums more? the ones i've been to this year were all great fun <3

-What fantasy do you have?

Uhhh...well I'll admit, I'm not very "spicy" IRL. My IRL fantasies usually include pinching sneezy noses, or catching them in a tissue/etc. There is one I really like, which is getting my neck sprayed but q.q my SO has really messy snz and I'd like just spray ty, not uhh...as much of what I get when he does it. So, it gets difficult to ask for certain things for fear of it being Too Much.

I think the biggest "Will I even like this??" Is getting oral when my SO is having a fit. I hear that talked about a lot, and I do wonder about it, but I'm not even sure if I'd like it. Sounds hot, but uhh...also sounds like it could get frustrating if I'm in a rhythm and it just changes suddenly and often. /shrug

I am a trashcan in my fics, but even being with my SO for over a decade I still get embarrassed af asking him to do things >///< He's 10000% willing do do pretty much anything, I wish I had more confidence and less shame.

-Did a show/movie awaken you/cringe you?

GFD, yes. Snow White. I loved it in my formative years, and it was HUGE in shaping my preferences. But. I can't think about it--ever. Now I have a viscerally disgusted reaction to even hearing/talking about it. Please. If my brain had ears, I'd rip them off. Get it away. Bleach that movie from existence please.

I think quite a few of those shows/movies I loved when I was younger are just so cringe for me right now. Like "Ok I know why I liked this but plz don't remind me.

💋 How would they react to getting a kiss? (can be platonic or romantic)

Depends on who is trying to kiss them. If it’s a fan or someone they don’t know well, Blake will push them away and state nicely (and firmly) that they don’t want to be touched like that. Blake only gets mean about it if a fan gets pushy.

If Blake is being kissed platonically by their bandmates or close friends from other bands, they'll play it off a bit. Blake enjoys the affection though. They also don’t mind getting slobbery kisses on their cheek from their Jack Russell Terrier, Jett. If it is a romantic partner, Blake probably would be happy about it in private but slightly uncomfortable about it in public. They’re not huge on PDA, and they like to keep their romantic life private.

If you’re [REDACTED] trying to give Blake a kiss, I hope you have your last will and testament ready.

💀 If they were one of the 7 sins, what sin would they be?

Maybe sloth, like acedia? Blake works really hard, and they put a lot of labor into the band, but sometimes, they're rather indifferent toward themself. Like, they can’t give a fuck about themself the same way they do about the band or their bandmates.

💘 What kind of person is their ideal type?

Someone who understands their passion for music. Blake doesn’t necessarily want to date someone from another band, but they do want someone who understands how important music is to them. Music has gotten Blake through a lot of shit, including the death of their bandmates, and their partner has to understand the importance of that. They could never walk away from making music.

They also like someone who is quiet, laidback, and isn’t about living a party lifestyle. Blake wants somewhere quiet to come back. Their partner also has to be cool with Blake's touring schedule or at least, willing to meet Blake halfway.

🛌 What kind of sleep schedule does your OC have?

A fucked up one. Blake was a night owl before they started touring, and touring has only made it worse. They’ve learned to fall asleep anywhere and regularly stays up. After they get back from touring is always the worst. Blake struggles to get back into a somewhat normal sleep schedule.

For my Siblings AU, I had an 8th sibling, but the backstory seemed a bit too much. She was a trans girl who cracked underneath the pressure of the clan and took her own life.

@mefiman 's OC Monsrage. He's a deep lovable character who is in a relationship with my OC Hikari.

Yeah three of them actually. Hiroki and Hikari can be pretty chaotic together. Especially during a fight. And Venus, but that's due to her powers and she has no control over them.

One time I was singing this one song with these mean lyrics to be passive-aggressive at my mother and I screamed so loud I passed out on the stage. That was pretty funny although it embarrassed me at tthe time. And another time my brother dropped a dryer on me and jacked my shoulder all up which pissed me off ROYALLY at the time but in retrospect was hnnn pretty funny. (But it still kind of pissesme off honestly lol). Oh and one time I was sitting next to Simon and I braided his beard around my wrist and he tried to get up and nearly fell because he didn't realize he was tied to me. For some reason that hit me absurdly funny.

💖 What made you start writing? In general? I've been writing since I plagiarized Aesop's Fables at age 4. I started writing consistently when I plagiarized Eragon at age 11. And then I found out at age 25 that if you write fanfic, no one cares! (For real though, I can't believe how much I have loved this experience; it's so collaborative, both with readers and other writers, and the return on investment is nearly instant. Double score!)

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc. I write hurt/comfort a lot. All my favorite scenes to write and read fit into that genre in some way. More specifically, I include a lot of themes of emotional repression, sense of self-worth, and recognition of trauma/abuse. As for imagery, I find myself using celestial metaphors a lot. Stars, planets, storms, sunlight, and the like. Which is unfortunate for a story set underground, but I don't let it stop me.

🦅 Do you outline fics or fly by the seat of your pants? I recognize the benefits of outlining, I really do. But when I started Lost Kin, my intent was to divorce myself from writing as a business and allow myself to be free with my creative process, and my natural inclination is to freestyle it. I do plan ahead to some degree, but the characters choose how and when we get there.

✨ Give you and your writing a compliment. I'm very good at flow and pacing. I have a strong feel for it, for the rhythm of a sentence, a section, a scene, and how to manipulate it in my favor, down to the syllable. I go overboard with it sometimes, but I've been told that it gives my writing a poetic quality.
