-No visiters were around to bother you guys so he ended up getting blankets and cuddling with you on the couch [pretend their house has a TV and working electricity]

-After watching it he couldn't help but also enjoy the movie. He would make sketches of the charecters and even watch it again in his free time [whenever he gets any]

-He does feel a tad bit guilty for watching it without you though,

I meant to draw this for peterfel week and made the sketch in like, literally February but didn't get around to finally finishing it until now… lol… well it's done now!!!

i dunno if i love how the dark shaded version turned out...

These are my base colors, but I guess I just felt like spending a couple hours with color overlays and fucking around to make the final moody blue version lol

as an aside the bokeh is a brush by Bunabi/Eriart which you can find as a freebie on her patreon - i saw it and was like omg wait i could use that

...the buildings are also brushes (well the windows are)

anyway here's the lineart

I also used a chain brush of course cause I ain't fuckin drawin all of that lmao —I used a brush from this set, they're pretty nice

😻 there she is oh i also used a diamond stamp 😂 the lesson to learn about me is if i can use a brush for something that would otherwise be tedious and it looks decent i will because i am lazy. unless i only have like a Single instance then I'll usually just draw it but when I have more than one it's either brushes or copy pasting lol

Felicia's outfit is a mix of sources, inspired by both her original costume, with the furry chest (in this case unzippable) as well as obviously more modern sexy latex outfits and so on... but i did NOT give her cleavage to her bellybutton cause I think that's dumb. though. to be fair in this case it would be more justifiable 😂

the muzzle ended up being like multiple designs from photo refs mashed into one so idk... how realistic it is other than the nose-forehead piece which was the same on both my refs. admittedly it looks a little loose but 🤷 still looks nice 😏

I also drew Peter in the classic suit, which I don't normally do, but I was doing more of the comic book look here instead of my own AUs and so on lol

he broke the cuffs so he could touch her butt 🙄 god peter don't you know how much real leather BDSM gear costs (don't tell him)

this new pen tablet is a lot of fun, it's way more comfortable to draw on and the increased pressure sensitivity makes it a lot easier to draw my favorite thing to draw: peter's arm hair 😂😂

the only weird thing is if I press down medium or harder while I'm drawing it... creaks? which is very funny, my old pen did not do that. it really is weirdly like using a felt tip pen or a very fine point marker. except it's plastic.

shoes. it may be classic style but I can never resist giving Peter sporty soles lol I know some people hate that but I just think it looks nice and I can handwave the sticking away as electrostatic forces or something. negative charge. electron transfer. blah blah blah. (in my AU i decided Peter has both electrostatic sticking that encompasses his whole body and ALSO adhesive secretions so if he gets his hands and feet bare i guess he has double the sticking power lol)

also if you're wondering why i didn't give peter a boner to match his red face well i have an out and it's that long ago i decided he wears a dance belt under the costume so as not to inflict the outline of his dick and balls on the people of NYC on a daily basis, and dance belts are first of all designed as mentioned to smooth out and hide that outline but also you wear them with everything pointing north and the waistband is like 5 inches wide so i don't think he has to worry about his little buddy escaping LOL (though I'm sure it's possible it would be more visible... i didn't bother trying to google it lol)

really i just didn't feel like trying to draw a boner 😂

Who/what is your biggest inspo for poetry or art?

aagh i dont think i'll ever have one biggest inspo for poetry n art i just have a lot of lads which i like specific things about + those likes are still always ongoing and changing lol (which btw ty for askin bout poetry cause i LOVE it n i never get asked abt poetry hehe)

I have a big ol google doc where i have lines of fav poetry i write down when i come across them (usually when im just scrollin the internets) and atm I've been noticing that a lot of lines i keep enjoying are all by Mary Oliver even tho i've yet to read her collection of poetry!!! so that's on my to-do list C: other poets who's names keep poppin up in that google doc are ocean vuong, richard siken, chen chen and uhh flatsound? they do more music but they've done some spoken word stuff and their songs just feel close enough to the realm of poetry to me u know

Art stuff... lol which medium?? /lh I really like thomas jordan's photography (the COLOURS my DUDE) mmm shelia berger's kinetic sculptures and KICKASS "Bird Show" encaustic paintings (i watched the rlly short like 5 min documentary on her and i was enraptured) Spencer finch has got a lot of cool conceptual art stuff like i think CIE 529 418 (CANDLELIGHT) is rlly cool!! Holly warb and @/vchienart both got some lovely lovely illustrations/paintings with soft beautiful colours... @/emilienunez has some really pretty and elegant yet v cute ceramics!! and @/soonthemoon some really like cute warm n cozy ones... Oof there's so many digital artists i love ;-; and i keep finding new cool lads aghh @catnippackets has such a good grasp on like form n shape if that makes sense?? like drawin people in these rlly fluid poses in like silky lineart aaa i found @milkdudz 's art recently and i LOVE their art style and their cats are just. perfect balance of spiky and soft n very very Cat which is so good @everydaylouie u gotta know louie right ?? how can someone make such lovely 2d and 3d art and music and also know how to code n make lil games. that is too much power for one soul to possess nifty-senpai's art n animations and designs ofc!! are incredible!! and i REALLY love their concepts for what the wc clan territories look like (this moonpool are you kidding me???? gorgeous) @thunderc1an's lineless art style my beloved...... yall clammorin about my lineless art style u GOTTA check out theirs so good (also the everchanging never the same designs for wc characters is so good so freeing so interesting to look at!!) SmallButera's animations omg... literally speechless (also have u seen their series baman piderman?? its so precious it might be on indefinite hiatus im not too sure but its still my favourite thing) chadisms, Riley Ellis, Asha Phaedra and Cherrydusk also got some BANGIN animation skills and o my god this post got so long n theres still so many ppl ive gots to stop and do homework LOL

I know this isn't an ask but is it weird that after seeing your blog and hearing about your characters that I have a new interest in horror stuff? Like I've noticed I'm way more interested in eldritch horror kinda stuff, monsters and slashers now. You'd think it would be magical girls or fariytales but the gorey aspects of the beloveds healing and reviving is super cool to me. Idk just something about your stuff makes me wanna listen to horror podcast. If you got any recommendation I'd love to hear em cause now I got a new hyperfocus.

I don't consider it to be weird because truth be told, as much as I love magical girls and fairy tales, they are just the seasoning for the real savory meat of my stories which is relationship dynamics and body horror.

Same for all my stories as romance and body horror elements are my fav stuff to write. There's a reason Bitterbat, Jack, and Pluto have slasher aspects built into them and why I keep making my main protagonists have regenerative powers.

And I'd recommend The Hotel podcast (I listen to it on Spotify) and the Dead Meat podcast (I listen to it on youtube). One is about a horrific hotel that has rooms that kills its guests in creative ways and the other is just folks talking about horror movies both old and new.

They are the only ones I listen to and I love them both. They manage to keep my attention long enough while also being good background noise while I'm drawin.

Haha I'vee been taking a small mental health break (and honestly still on it but i miss you guys :( ) and wanted to check in :D

some Fun things that have happened: - pokemon hyperfix go brrrr - danganronpa hyperfix go brrrrr (do not ask. i do not know how. i am in hell /vvpos) - hi hello remembered that I have a batim kintype and I am going to make it everyone's problem (it's your favorite musician who was very gay for the projectionist (remember my holw 'fuck the 18/1900s' bout racer? yeah. double it)) - um. might be kinsidering a danganronpa AU I made. this is a very small potental but hey constelic is rarely normal /lh - following that. the following stels have been added to The Horde: Prune juice cookie, candy diver cooker, molten freddy, the puppet, my other smp character, allister (from pokemon) & Angel (from a pkm au i created). Don't know how long these'll stick around but at this point i'm just *head in hands* - I joined a small origins SMP!!! I'm a starborn and vibing!!! I made a friend who's collectivly a sculk origin and we live on a mountain together and curse the sun :D - my entire jazz/hiphop class is being very malocually compliant bc we have no free will /dramatic (really we just can't dive into the more hiphop parts & we didnt have theme/song/outfit choice. hey the teacher is in the same boat so-) - i found a new love for writing and drawing!! i'm just vibing and living my life :3

they rode infatuate and half fond toward the red demise of the day | arianna | trial 5.1

The desert made her feel almost like a person again. Lungs full of sunshine, skin golding in the light, Janelle Longbough Carter had been really and truly happy. She lay on the red rocks every day until she’d stored up enough warmth to go back to the castle.

And she thought about how badly she wanted to fly over those clifftops on horseback, and sometimes her fear of some volcanic disaster like the one in that vision became so much she couldn’t breathe, but often — sometimes — she had been happy.

It was a terrible thing for a person to be when this was always around the corner.

Because when they found Haruki and Lucy and Strikeout, she was forced to remember that this place was like every other place.

When the sun sets in the desert, the world goes colder than you ever thought it could be.

So. She’s been more-than-usually quiet in this trial, watching her classmates circle each other. Her heart squeezes tight and painful for Haruki, backed into a corner where all possible actions are cruel or unreasonable or both. For Lucy, who has lost beloved friends to the people — good people but ones who are hard to love, easy to bristle at, whom Lucy could hardly be blamed for hating — now sharply questioning her about a new murder.

And for Miyuki. Of course. Kind and bright but scrappy, too, not like the doe-eyed heroine of a fairytale but like a real person strong enough to survive this place without her spirit being crushed by it.

Janelle had liked her very much.

She likes them all. Very much.

But this has to be done.

“So, alright,” she says, speaking up for the first time as the tension flares like a rash. “I guess the biggest question here is, ‘Who among us has been known to draw?’ ‘cause I don’t. Mr. Mizu has, but it seems like we’ve gone and ruled him out for the culprit. I remember Nevros drawin’ at their trial and Miss Sirenity’s, and I know Amon’s real good, but neither of them have piped up here so far, so I don’t know…”

Lots of undetected murderers like to be involved in the investigations of their own crimes. She’d read that somewhere. And here, where the suspect pool is so small, missing a chance to control the narrative would be foolish. She’s considered that Nevros could use their stolen luck magic to help Lucy hit the target, but…they’d be here if that were the case, right?

“Only other livin’ person I know for an artist is Miss Baku. And I don’t know if that’s enough to put her on the list in any real way, considerin’ there isn’t anything else I’d say points to her.”

She pinches the bridge of her nose, thinking.

“So. Alright. We’re figurin’ so far that Mizu isn’t the killer and Strikeout didn’t do herself. Of the three people we know were involved, the only one who ain’t Mizu or Strikeout is Miss Lucy. Be natural to say, ‘Oh, well, it must’ve been her.’

“But we still got that unidentified handwritin’, per Ben, who says it don’t match Mizu, Strikeout or Lucy. Mizu says the trebuchet wasn’t his idea, Strikeout would never have helped set up a thing meant to fling her halfway to Timbuktu, and I’m inclined to believe it wasn’t Miss Lucy’s idea, either.”

She wants to be back on a rock in the sun. She wants to be flying. She wants to be pressing her forehead against Trouble’s and stroking the creature’s velvet nose.

Instead, she’s here. Watching everybody’s tangles get pulled tighter.

“So. Fourth mystery person. What do we know about ‘em? They can draw, probably. They’re alive. They like as not wanted to help Strikeout, or at least they’re the kind of person Mizu and Lucy would believe was tryin’ to help her. And I know Mizu’s got a real kind heart, sees the best in everybody, but Miss Lucy’s got a canny ol’ brain and a healthy helping of suspicion. She wouldn’t buy a story like that from just anyone.”

Janelle crosses her legs.

“The question we ought to be askin’ is, who’s trustworthy enough for Miss Lucy to share her fear with, creative enough to come up with this whole Looney Tunes-ass idea, and apple-headed enough to believe that ‘use a trebuchet to cure a gal’s fear of heights’ is a good idea?”
