You didn't mind. You really, really didn't. In fact, your life had been a lot less stressful after deciding that you and Conor would keep your relationship private. You didn't have to deal with hate. You didn't have to duck paparazzi when you went out in public without Conor. You definitely didn't regret it.

That being said, it had been 4 years. You occasionally felt a little bummed you couldn't tell the world how much you loved him. You were always introduced as part of his management or his personal assistant or just a friend. There had even been rumors that you and Jack were dating. The two of you had just returned from your honeymoon and you were catching up with all of your friends/family.

"So how are you going to plan your big reveal?" Your mom had asked through your Skype video session.

"Mooooommm, stop. We haven't even talked about it." you replied.

"I know you've wanted to go public for a while, so i assumed you would after the wedding." she continued.

"I promise I'll talk to Conor about it later. I just don't want to immediately stress us out straight after our Honeymoon. Lets ease back into the real world." you said, saying goodbye and ending the conversation.

You didn't know it, but Conor had been listening to your conversation with your mom. He didn't know that you had wanted to go public. Conor had hated that he couldn't bring you to events and show you off to his fans. He kept it private because he thought that's what you wanted. After listening in on your conversation, he started planning.

Conor immediately set about texting your friends and family. He wanted any pictures and videos of the two of you that he could get his hands on.

"Hey babe, I need to run over to Joe's." Conor said, walking in the room while you were skyping your best friend.

"Okay, love." you said, kissing Conor when he leaned down into frame.

"Hey Conor!" your friend said, waving.

"What's up? When are you going to visit us? You know Jack always likes when you visit." He winked at the camera, sitting on your lap for a minute.

"Now that you're back, I'll try to come up sometime this month." she answered. You were grateful all of your friends and family got along. "And your brother likes when any girl visits." she laughed.

"Well I'll leave you two to it." Conor kissed you again before leaving.

He couldn't work on his next cover with you in the flat, so he had text Joe asking if he could set up his recording equipment in his house.

"So you're going to tell everyone?" Joe asked with a big smile on his face.

"Finally. I wish I would have just told everyone like 3 years ago, but now that we're married I'm done hiding it." Conor replied, figuring out where he was going to set up.

"I'm glad. You two are perfect for each other. I don't think you'll get as much hate as you thought you would." Joe said, helping Conor. "And I'm glad I get to post some footage that I couldn't show before since the two of you were snogging in it."

"I'm married. I'm really married." Conor laughed. "In every one of our 'most likely to' videos I always get the 'last to get married' card, but I'm fucking married." Conor had a massive smile on his face. He sent you a text telling you he'd be home really late.

"It's got a good ring to it." Joe laughed. "I'll start sorting through the pictures and clips and I'll leave you to record. Let me know if you need anything." Joe grabbed Conor's phone to start downloading what your friends and family had sent him.

"Thanks." Conor replied. "You have our wedding videos, right?"

"Yup. Oli sent me everything." Joe smiled at Conor.

About 12 hours later, Joe and Conor were working on making the clips and pictures fit the length of the song. "I think it's perfect." Joe yawned.

"I just hit upload." Conor sleepily smiled at his friend. "I just need to write the description."

"It won't finish uploading for at least an hour. Go home before you write it. I don't want you falling asleep in the car." Joe said, moving his laptop to the table. "You'll just have to log in from home to make it go live."

"Thank you so much." Conor said standing up.

"Just leave all of the equipment. You can get it later." Joe hugged his friend.

"Good idea." Conor said, hugging Joe. "Thanks again, buddy. I owe you."

When Conor got home, he opened his lap top and started writing the description.

"Hello everyone. I would like to introduce you to Y/n. Some of you know her as my assistant. Some people think she's my manager. Some of you even think she's sleeping with my brother haha. Well none of these are true. If you already watched the video, you'll know that Y/n is now my wife. That's right. Conor Maynard actually convinced someone to wake up next to his ugly mug every day. I know that some of you are going to be mad that I didn't share any of this earlier, but when I met y/n I knew I would do absolutely everything I could to keep our relationship happy and healthy. She is the most important person in my life and I know that you will all love her once you get to know her. I picked this song because it's the song we danced to at our wedding. Y/n, I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. You keep my life in order and you make me a better person. We both know I can't stay serious for more than 5 minutes at a time without cracking a joke, but I will always be there for you. I know this whole thing is sappy and I promise your regularly scheduled programming will continue, but I needed to share this part of my life with everyone.

Y/n, meet everyone. Everyone, meet my wife."

Conor made the video live and joined you in bed.

"Hey." you sleepily said, rolling over to snuggle against Conor. "Finish whatever you were working on?"

"Yup." Conor replied, wrapping his arms around you. "It's perfect." he said, leaning down to press a kiss to the top of your head. "I want you to see it tomorrow."

"Of course." you replied, nuzzling your face into Conor's chest.

"Goodnight, beautiful." Conor said, yawning, but you had already fallen back asleep.

When you woke up, you kissed a sleeping Conor on the cheek and rolled out of bed. You had gotten used to waking up before him. When you went to grab your phone you saw a note stuck to the screen. "Don't open your phone yet. Go into the living room"

"Well this is weird." you chucked, looking over a Conor peacefully sleeping. "What have you been up to?"

Walking down the stairs you saw more post-its on the wall.

"Good morning, beautiful"

"I love you so much"

"I can't believe I ended up with someone so amazing"

Walking into the living room, you saw Conor's lap top on the coffee table with another post-it on it. "Open me". Inside was a post-it that said "Play me".

Clicking play on the video titled "Thinking Out Loud" you watched bits of your 4 year relationship play on the screen. Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" played in the background as you watched you and Conor dancing around like idiots at his parents house with his brother and sister. Conor pranking you. The first Christmas Conor spent at your parents house, opening presents and kissing under the mistletoe. Proposing to you on a secluded beach where you took your first trip alone as a couple. Pictures you and your friends had taken but never posted on any social media. A funny video of the two of you singing "final countdown" at a karaoke bar. You and Anna being caught having a food fight in the flat's kitchen when you realized you had mixed the cake batter wrong. And finally, clips from your wedding. Your friends sharing their toasts and the two of you sharing your first dance as husband and wife.

When the video ended, you wiped the tears off of your cheeks and started scrolling through the comments. There, of course, were mean comments, but you were surprised at how many people just seemed to be happy for the two of you. Closing the lap top, you walked back upstairs. Unlocking your phone, you were overwhelmed with texts and voicemails from your friends and family all telling you how cute Conor's video was and how happy they were for the two of you.

Crawling back into bed, you snuggled up against Conor. "Hey" he croaked, wiping the sleep from his eyes. "Good morning."

"Good morning, husband." you smiled up at him. "Thank you." you said, kissing

"Did you see it?" He asked, slipping his arms around you and rolling the two of you over.

leaning up to kiss Conor, you nodded. "It's beautiful." you said, pulling him to rest his weight against you. "It's perfect."

"I'm so happy you liked it." Conor said. "I finally get to tell people you're my wife." Conor ducked down to kiss you again.

"I like the sound of that." you replied.

11: BreadWinners

Although many people hates its extreme grossness and stuff, I found this show funny nowadays, And i love SwaySway so much that he's becoming one of my comfort characters!

10: Pucca

One of my childhood fandoms in South Korean history, And my main comfort ship is Pucca and Garu but in my AU they're such Toric cuties!

9: The Epic Tales Of Captain Underpants

This Netflix show that's based on the comic/novels by Dav Pilkey is very awesome and underrated in my opinion, And i love Mr. Krupp, Captain Underpants, George and Harold very much!

5: Disney Plus' Diary Of A Wimpy Kid

This Disney animated movie fandom is really cool, And i even loved the animated adaptation of "Rodrick Rules" most of all!

• Sprinkle's and Buttercream go on playdates and Sprinkles is always more gentle with Buttercream than the other Wyverns (if there IS any to be fair most of them are dead) because she's shy,,

• Margarine sometimes talks about his hunter gang meeting his (remaining) family members. Pitaya took this literally, told Hollyberry and Tart Tatine, and they set off to his village. Pitaya and Hollyberry definitely busted his door open one morning because they we're so excited to visit (mainly Pitaya because it was their idea but you get it),

• like I'm talking KICKED DOWN his door at 9am and was like "So about that family you're going on about!!" And Hollyberry brought a barrel of fancy juice with her for the occasion and everything. Snapdragon had JUST gotten put down for a nap (I hc that Snapdragon was taken home with Royal Margarine because they imprinted on him lol) so he was NOT happy. Tart Tatine just sighed in the background (she is SICK AND TIRED OF PITAYA!!! SHE WANTS THEM GONE!!!!)

• Eldress Lard Cookie makes some MEANNN pasta. Margarine shuts his mouth SOOO quick when she starts cooking in that kitchen. I mean, she's a grandma, she's built different!!

AHHH I love these!!!! 😭😭 warms my heart you like lard so much hehehe.. lets me know to definitely do more stuff w her in the future.

she's absolutely a great cook, having helped around the kitchen in the clan's hayday and and being the only one who really made meals when it was just her and margarine as he was growing up.

I'm not toooo sure how she'd interact w the rest of the Gang(tm) (I still haven't made up my mind if I want her and tarte to be exes or not lol...) but it's really funny to imagine she definitely Knows of hollyberry from her dragon hunting days so she's like "...sweet pinky berry cookie??" and just being absolutely confused by the kerfuffle happening so early in the morning. at least her grandson's finally made friends, y'know

birthday wish

One week after Daniel makes his birthday wish, a part of it comes true.

Every year, for the past twenty years, he makes the same wish – a wish he previously thought was impossible. He gets around the cake Sadie always bakes for him (yellow with the most perfect chocolate buttercream icing), closes his eyes, and blows out the candles. Year in and year out, he makes the same wish: that his family will be whole again.

He knows what he means when he says that. He means that he wishes his father would rise from the dead, sixteen years later, and make amends with him. Poor Daniel is still that little boy who wants Frank DeLuca to clap him on the shoulder and tell him that he’s done a good job. Even in death, Daniel wants Frank to be the kind of father who takes you on fishing trips and plays his favorite music for you on long car rides to pretty much nowhere. But he never was, and now, he’ll never be. Sixteen years.

When Daniel wishes for his family to be whole again, he also wishes for Sam to rise from the dead. He wants him to show up at their front door one day with colorful stories about what things have been like in heaven for the past two decades. He wants to know how Sam’s getting along with James Dean and Sal Mineo. He wants to know if The 27 Club is annoyed or endeared by his affections (because surely, even in death, Sam is a fan). He wants to have a real friend close by again. More than anything, Daniel wants to see the look on Sadie’s face when Sam shows up at home again. Twins shouldn’t be without each other for long.

When Daniel wishes for his family to be whole again, he wishes for a phone call from Charlie. One where he apologizes for taking his grief out on everyone else. One where he says he’s sorry for putting Daniel in the middle of everything: by ganging up on Sadie in front of him, by confessing his affair with Elenore, by abandoning Elenore’s daughter to salvage a relationship with Carrie and their son. He wishes Charlie would call him. Not so that they could be best friends again but so that they could have some civility … some reminder that all those years were not a waste. Rosemary is fond of saying, Dad, nostalgia is a liar every time he wants to talk about Uncle Charlie. Even Mom’s moved on, and Uncle Charlie is her brother. But Daniel’s pretty sure it’s more than that. Daniel’s pretty sure you’re not supposed to give up on the people who loved you when you couldn’t love yourself. Even if you need to put them away for a little while, it’s not the same as giving up. It can’t be. Daniel doesn’t want it to be.

And then, a week after his fifty-sixth birthday – his fifty-sixth birthday wish – his phone rings.

It’s Charlie.

Daniel takes a very deep breath before answering. He remembers the last time he took a call from Charlie. It was almost nineteen years ago, in the same kitchen where he stands today, back when he and Sadie still had a landline. He remembers meeting with Charlie all night long. He remembers how badly it went. And yet, Daniel knows he’s going to answer. He knows he has to take the call.

They’ve got a lot of talking to do.

My favorite lps pet has been Sunil ever since I started watching the show, but I also really like Pepper, Vinnie & Buttercream! I honestly really like all of the pets but these 4 are the silliest to me 💋

Safe Haven’s Angel Book2 Ch4 End

(Hey everyone. I just wanted to thank everyone who read this far and liked my story enough to read it to it's end. I had a lot of fun writing it and it makes me happy knowing some people loved it enough to read it fully. If you liked this consider checking out my other works. -Maggie:

Maggie still helps her mother and her Aunt Charlie run the hotel and eventually does start dating Charles despite he likes to annoy her many, many...MANY times.

-Nightshade:

He's in a much better place now having cutting all ties with his mother and her gang after his father eventually divorced her and cut contact with the rest of their family and getting back with his old flame Tyco. He's a lot happier with his older sister and step father around and working on self improving himself.

-Buttercream:

Happily working in the hotel with her mother Nifty and working with her in the kitchen. Also may or may not have made her feelings known to Gossamer who also may or may not have become flustered at her antics.

-Mitzy:

Although her dream of stardom never took off she's making a very good living for herself by opening a successful dance club and bar.

-Charles:

Has followed in his father's footsteps of becoming a tyrant even if his mother and girlfriend disagrees with it, but it makes his grandparents and father proud of him. Still also his annoying self and loves to tease the ever loving hell out of Maggie still.

-Howl:

Has made his father proud and became the successor to his mother's place as Castello's body guard.

-Gossamer:

Like Maggie he helps his mother and Miss Charlie run the hotel and despises his father for being a demon hunter although he doesn't wish to ever meet or run into Fitch as well. May or may not have developed feelings for Buttercream to the annoyance of her overprotective father.

-Jaluna and Mango:

Jaluna joined her mother and younger half sister in conquering more terf and becoming powerful overlord quartet. her half sister being the pyromaniac she is takes delight in blowing things up and gaining more power.

-Thomas:

Thomas is living a normal life with his parents working and helping around his father in the studios making sure to stay FAR away from Katy Killjoy.

-Alejandro:

Enjoys his days terrorizing and becoming his Uncle Castello's successor to most of his family's pride except for his Uncle Angel and Two cousins. Even though he misses the freedom he had before becoming his Uncle's successor, he's trying his best to make to make his family proud of him.

-Valentine:

She's very happy with both her father and little baby brother she spoils rotten to death. Going on to become a very famous actress and performer for her father's Hell Movie career and met has actually started dating Mitzy and testing the waters. So far their relationship is going pretty well.

-Lance:

With his father being a famous director and his mother a famous singer it's only natural he would go on to also take those traits, becoming another E District top singer and performer making both his parents proud of him.

-Turquoise:

Turk has followed the footsteps of both his parents and love of performing and with help from his favorite teachers (Alonzo and Jackie) decides to take up teaching and becoming the new Drama Teacher at Z.P.A taking over for Jackie once she retires.

-Guinevere:

Still enjoys staying in heaven and using her abilities to heal those who needs it most.
