Okay guys, I should absolutely be asleep but I did this instead. Here's a map of the purple shards in The Forgotten Desert!

The variation in shade is because -- similar to the silver shards -- there are two different games so to speak. The lighter purple is a different game from the darker purple.

I also used a detailed map of the adventure so it's easier to figure out where the arches are. Note that not all the arches are numbered! The numbered arches are just where the arrows lead you once you've triggered the arch.

Some recommendations if you decide to go after the purple shards:

Go after the purple shards specifically! When I did the purple shards, it took me and the people I was playing with the entire time to finish it.

Assign each member of your party a rock on the arches. It'll hopefully save you time, since having assigned perches will remove the hassle of having to move if someone else is already on the perch you were going for (I'm pretty sure this took up at least a minute or two for my party lol).

If you happen to find other crystals (green, yellow, blue, silver) it's okay to collect them, but don't expect to collect all of them.

Use this map or another map (make sure you understand it, as there are variations in where you need to go like I said!!) and assign whoever is using the map as the leader. This made it a lot easier on both myself and my team, since I knew what I was doing and everyone else could just follow me.

If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask! I'm gonna go to sleep because I have a horrible headache, but I'll open my inbox so you can ask questions about this map if you want.

Greetings!

There's a city far to the west where the sands of time immemorial cover everything as far as the eye can see. In this beacon of civilization there's an exotic market where people from all over the Known World come over to acquire rare items of great value for the discerning customer.

Then again, there are also those who sell nothing but snake oil. Adventurers have to be very careful not to be deceived by those individuals who would like nothing more than to scam them from their hard-earned gold.

Oh, and did I not mention there are many chases through the streets because of this? Jumping from rooftop to rooftop trying to catch the slimy crook who just sold the party a magical deck of cards that turned out to be not so magical after all.

Can our heroes get a good deal on some exotic magical items? Or will they end up with a magical lamp that's only good for decorating their backpack?

Hello, everyone!

A lack of water is sure to bring any adventurer to the brink of death. And out here in the desert, that happens more often than one would like.

Precious water, that's what the evil warlords have been hoarding. They work their followers to the bone, and give them almost no precious liquid in return.

But when a thirsty party of heroes comes into town, some of the almost-mad workers will do everything they can to aid them and let the water run free!

The creature tokens for this map are a Cobra Duelist, an Earthen Spirit and a Gold Dragon. Emerald tier gets the Cobra Duelist while Diamond tier gets all three. In addition, Sapphire tier gets extra creature token variants.

She’s a Calimshan Halfling and (Ex-)Shepherd. Her pet Hawk’s name is Yul.

Her story is highly inspired by The Alchemist by Coelho and came to me in a sleepless night. I’m still in the concept phase but I already love her. I wanted to play a wind based character, a halfling and a ranger for a while now and she’s all three😂

This ancient explorer, a friendly sort of immortal who doesn't hesitate to scare you to death and then leave a gift anyway, who comes across this piece of machinery, and he doesn't... he doesn't remember it? Not properly? But he knows it's dangerous. He knows it's unnatural.

And... he uses it anyway. He takes its strength, its energy, and makes it his own. He's already a paradox -- what's a little more? Just for flavor.
