Don't Blame Me (1/3) [Billy Hargrove/Reader; eventual Eddie Munson/Reader; Billy Hargrove/Reader/Eddie Munson]
Tumblr media
Summary: One boyfriend clawing his way free from the clutches of the Upside Down once it decided to unleash its own brand of hell on Hawkins was a miracle you weren't sure you entirely deserved. When another previously dead boyfriend shows up on your doorstep and throws your whole world into chaos, you start to wonder if it's a blessing or a curse. You're terrified you'll have to choose between your first love and the guy who saved you from yourself, but will that turn out to be the least of your worries? As word begins to spread around town of a masked killer draining Hawkins residents of their blood, you realize you're a lot closer to danger than you've ever been before, but maybe, just this once, it's not such a bad thing after all. Word Count: 6.3k Author's Notes: Somehow, this was born out of an obsession with Don't Blame Me by Taylor Swift and a need to write a darker fic. I wrote the ghostface fic last year for Halloween along with a demon!Billy and vampire!Eddie fic…and somehow they're all meshing together to create one big fucked up Halloween fic this year. I don't even know what the fuck I'm doing at this point, but uhhhhh enjoy my insanity??

"Don't blame me," were the first words Billy Hargrove ever said to you. It was quickly followed by: "It's the freak's fault."
"Oh, forgive me for walking," Eddie Munson said in a mocking tone, holding his hands up in surrender. "Blame Mr. Mullethead over here for being too cool to look where he's going," Eddie sneered at Billy.
At that point in time, you didn't really care whose fault it was. You were only concerned about the fact that your shirt was now covered in soda and you were either going to have to go home or suffer through the rest of the day with a soaked shirt. "Shit," you sighed, realizing you were just going to have to go home. You would have to make up a test, but you were starting not to care. After a day that had started off with a stubbed toe, a burned finger, and now a sticky shirt, you would rather just suffer through the rest of the day from the comfort of your own bedroom. "Whatever," you dismissed. "Just another reason I should get the fuck out of here."
You turned, not bothering to spare a second look for the other two, before making a break for the cafeteria doors.
"Shit," you heard someone mutter before footsteps took off in your direction. You refused to look back to see which of the two dickheads who had spilled soda all over you was behind you, prompting the guy to huff in irritation. "Just, damn it, would you hold on a second? Where the hell are you going?"
"Home," you snapped, allowing yourself a brief moment to glance over your shoulder to confirm that Billy Hargrove was in fact following you.
"You don't even have a car," Billy pointed out, surprising you. Today was the first day you exchanged anything resembling a conversation with Billy and you had just been living with the assumption that he had no idea you existed. "What are you gonna do? Walk home?"
"Maybe," you answered, quickening your pace in an attempt to get rid of Billy. You were cold and pissed off and you wanted nothing more than to just pull on a pair of pajamas and crawl into bed. "Why are you still following me?" You asked when you realized he hadn't taken the hint that you wanted him to get lost.
"Look, will you stop being so damn stubborn and just talk to me for a second?"
You reluctantly turned to face Billy, abruptly stopping him in his tracks. "Okay. What do you want?"
"I'm not exactly taking the blame or anything here," Billy started, hastily reaching out to grab your backpack and sling it over his shoulder, "but the least I can do is give you a ride home."
You studied him for a moment, half-sure he was only offering because he wanted an excuse to cut class. You also got the feeling that he was going to hold your backpack hostage until you agreed. It didn't take long for you to realize you didn't care about Billy’s motives as long as his offer worked out for the both of you. If you didn't have to walk home, then all the better. "Fine," you finally conceded with a shrug of your shoulders. You stepped to the side, gesturing for Billy to walk by you. "Lead the way, then."
He watched you for a moment as if he thought you might turn and run the second he had his back to you. Finally, after a few more seconds of deliberation, Billy turned and started walking. You followed him, not entirely sure if you were making the right decision. You also couldn't stop your gaze from drifting, taking in the so-called 'fantastic ass' most of the girls had been going on about since Billy Hargrove showed up at the beginning of the year. You were forced to look away when Billy stopped at the doors leading out to the parking lot. He pushed open one of them, beckoning for you to pass him.
"Such a gentleman," you told him as you walked outside, catching the faint smirk on his face.
"Yeah, well, it had to happen sometime," he drawled as he followed you. "It's that one over there," he told you, directing you towards his Camaro with a hand on the small of your back.
"I know," you pointed out with an amused smile in his direction. "You're not as subtle as you think."
"Well, she's the best thing to ever happen to me," Billy admitted with a shrug of his shoulders. "Why not show her off a little? She deserves it."
"She does," you agreed, smiling at the way Billy tried and failed not to light up at your praise. "She is really beautiful."
"Damn right she is," Billy purred, satisfaction bleeding through into his tone. When you looked up at him, you expected to see him gazing at his beloved car in adoration, but instead, he was watching you. You felt your cheeks flush, trying to hide the fact that you were feeling flustered from his attention. Billy was a notorious flirt and you didn't want to be like every other girl who had fallen prey to his charm.
"Ready to go?" You asked, lamely trying to shift the focus of the conversation. "I'm freezing."
"Shit, yeah, we should get you out of those wet clothes," Billy said, moving to open the passenger side door of his car for you. You didn't miss the hint of suggestion in his voice, but if you were going to survive even just five minutes alone in a car with Billy Hargrove, then you were just going to have to ignore it.
Once Billy pulled out of the school parking lot, you started offering him directions towards your house.
"So," you started, once Billy hit the long stretch of road that would lead to your house. "Graduation is coming up in a couple months."
"Yeah? What about it?" Billy's tone didn't waver, but from the way he started tapping his fingers on the steering wheel, you got the feeling that talking about graduation made him nervous.
"Nothing," you said, shrugging your shoulders. "Just wondering what you've got planned after it's all over."
Billy snorted, the sound half amused and half derisive. "I'm just trying to get to graduation. Haven't thought much about what comes after."
"Well," you started, not even sure where you were going with your sentence. You frowned thoughtfully out the window, trying to think of something to say, but accidentally letting silence fall over the car.
"Well?" Billy prompted with a glance at you. "There anything after that or you forget how to talk?"
You rolled your eyes, a reluctant grin pulling at your lips. "Maybe," you answered, refusing to admit that you were so nervous you didn't know how to talk to him. Billy was cool and suave and had all the girls at school in a chokehold. When you woke up that morning, you didn't expect to say two words to him, much less find yourself in his car and expected to keep up a conversation.
"Why do you walk to school every day?" Billy broke the silence, finally taking pity on you.
"I'm a senior in high school," you pointed out with a shrug of your shoulders. "I can't afford a car and I’m sure as hell not asking my mom to help me get one. And I’ll just feel really pathetic if I'm seen riding the bus, so I might as well take my only other option."
“What about your dad? He some kind of deadbeat or something? Can’t help his kid get a car?”
You snorted, not able to help the noise of contempt you made. “You could say that,” you answered. “He split a few years back and we haven’t heard from him since.”
“Sounds like a real piece of shit,” Billy observed with a frown.
“Yeah,” you sighed. “So, no car and no bus means I’ve got to walk. At least it’s just for a few more months. Once I graduate, I can get a job and figure all that shit out.”
"Well," Billy started, squinting his eyes at the road ahead, lost in thought.
"Well?" You mocked, drawing a surprised laugh from Billy.
"I could just drive you to school," he offered, shooting you a brief, searching look. "Wouldn't even make you chip in for gas money or anything."
"Why?" You couldn't help but wonder. Billy didn't seem like the kind of guy to dole out charity rides in his beloved car. "What's in it for you?"
"Just seems a shame, is all," he told you. "Someone like you freezing her ass off every day. Besides, it'll give us a chance to get to know each other a little better."
You let out an incredulous laugh, not sure how your life had gotten so spun around in just the matter of a few hours. "And you want to get to know me better?"
"I do," Billy responded with a nod of his head. "So, what do you think?" He asked as he pulled to a stop in front of your house. "You in?"
You knew immediately the answer you wanted to give, but you stopped yourself before you could say anything. It was crazy, right? You weren't supposed to accept rides from strangers, but Billy didn't feel strange to you. You didn't know him all that well, sure, but like he pointed out, you could always get to know him a bit better. There probably wasn't any harm in that. "Sure," you finally agreed, flashing him a grin. "I'm in."
There was a part of you that thought maybe Billy was just kidding around when he offered to drive you to school. Maybe it was his idea of a joke or a way to get under your skin, but he managed to surprise you when you stepped outside the next morning, and he was there waiting in your driveway. "Shit," you muttered as you turned to lock your front door. "What the hell have I gotten myself into?"
You settled into a surprisingly easy pattern with Billy over the next few weeks. He picked you up, told you to ignore his stepsister in the backseat, and cranked up his music so loud that you could barely think. Half the time, you were able to actually hold some semblance of a conversation with either Billy or Max, but never both at the same time. It wasn't hard to figure out that they didn't exactly get along, but you weren't sure how to fix it. You probably shouldn't feel the need to fix it in the first place, but that was just who you were. You couldn't fix your own problems half the time, so why not try to fix everyone else's?
You forced yourself to keep your mouth shut, though. Billy rarely allowed you to see a different side to him than his usual cool demeanor, but when it was just the two of you in his car, he started to unwind just the tiniest bit. It started off slowly from singing along to the radio under his breath or nodding his head along to the music to letting slip bits and pieces of his life pre-Hawkins and talking about his plans for the future. They were all moments that you filed away to examine later, because you knew that if Billy knew just how much it meant to you that he was starting to let you in, then he would shut you out.
It didn't take long for you to realize Billy Hargrove was a broken person. He did his best to hide who he really was from everyone at school, but you were no stranger to suffering in silence. There was pain in his eyes every time he looked at you and you wanted nothing more than to heal him.
You thought that more than anything, maybe he just needed a friend. He needed someone to genuinely care about him, because he didn't seem to have anyone. His mom wasn't in the picture and from the way Billy spoke about him, it sounded like his father was a complete jackass. Max didn't seem fond of Billy and you were sure his stepmom felt the same way. He had fans, not friends, at school and enemies he made with every biting, sarcastic comment.
So, yeah, you could be his friend. It wasn't all that much of a hardship, because once Billy started to allow his walls to come down around you, you came to the startling conclusion that you genuinely liked him.
By the time spring break rolled around, you realized you were going to miss seeing Billy every day at school. You shouldn't have worried, though, because that Monday afternoon you were roused from your bed by the sound of someone honking a car horn from your driveway. "Fuck," you groaned, knowing there was only one person who was capable of annoying you out of bed during spring break.
You rushed to pull on the pair of jeans you had left on your floor the day before and tried to make sure you didn't look like a complete mess as you passed your vanity mirror. By the time you made it outside, Billy had started keeping up a steady rhythm with the car horn, only stopping once he noticed you.
"What the hell are you doing?" You asked once you were in his passenger seat. “You’re lucky my mom is at work or she would’ve called the cops on you.”
"Just thought we could do something," he offered with a shrug of his shoulders. "Beats you moping around your house all day because you miss my face."
“You caught me,” you drawled, putting a hand to your chest. “The pictures all over my room weren’t enough. I just had to get a glimpse of the real thing.”
“I knew it!” Billy crowed with a delighted laugh. “What do you say, then? Wanna get out of here?”
"Okay," you agreed with a nod of your head. "So, what'd you have in mind?"
You ended up going for a burger and fries that day and to the movies on Wednesday. You dragged Billy to the arcade on Thursday and let him take you to the quarry on Saturday. He seemed to content to simply throw rocks into the water and smoke through half a pack of cigarettes, all the while letting you ramble on about everything you needed to do before you graduated.
Billy took a drag before he shook his head. "You worry too much," he sighed, shooting you an annoyed look. "You're gonna graduate and go off to school and land some job making a bunch of money. You'll get out of here and forget about all this bullshit," he told you, waving his cigarette in the air as he gestured towards the town.
There was a hint of melancholy in his tone that told you that what Billy was really worried about was that you would forget him. "Fuck that," you found yourself saying, moving until you could stand at his side. "We are going to graduate and get summer jobs. Then we'll get an apartment, because who would be better roommates than us, right? And then we'll figure it out from there. But I'm not gonna just forget about you. You're stuck with me," you told him, delighting in the rare, pleased smile that tugged at his lips.
"Sounds like a plan," he agreed, briefly bumping his shoulder against yours before taking another drag from his cigarette. "A fucking stupid plan on your part, but it works for me."
"Good," you told him. "Now, let's go get something to eat. I'm starving."
After spring break, your routine with Billy changed. Instead of dropping you off at your house first, he chose to get Max home before driving out to a local burger joint. You paid just as often as Billy did, letting him know you were just as invested in your friendship as he was and you weren’t looking to take advantage of him. Billy seemed to think it was stupid, but you didn’t care.
By the time summer was on the horizon, Billy had firmly cemented himself into your life as your best friend. There was no doubt in your mind that the bond you shared with him was special, and in a roundabout way, you had Eddie Munson and his clumsiness to thank for that.
You depended on Billy to get you through the day and you looked forward to whatever scathing comments he had to make about his day or fellow classmates and teachers. You couldn't wait to hear him sing along to Billy Idol or Bon Jovi, growing bolder each day and letting himself unwind around you. You loved the sound of his laugh and the way his eyes lit up when he got you to sing along to the radio with him. You found yourself talking more about your future together and which apartments around town you might be able to afford as senior year came to an end.
You didn't even realize how much your feelings for Billy had evolved until you were leaving school one day in late May.
You walked outside, shielding your eyes against the sun, before scanning the parking lot. When you saw him, it felt like someone punched you in the gut. Billy was leaning up against his car, waiting for you to find him. It was usual and routine, but the second your eyes met his across the parking lot, a terrifying feeling poured through you. You felt like someone had just tipped your world to the side. Your breath left you all in one rush as you scrambled to pin down what was so different about this time. It took you entirely too long to realize what had stopped you in your tracks.
Want.
You wanted Billy. It felt all-consuming, causing your mind to spin in a dozen different directions.
You wanted Billy to take your hand and press a kiss to your lips. You wanted to sneak him through your bedroom window so he could hold you close all night long. You wanted more than dinners and movies and shared laughter. You wanted a next step and a next, until both of your lives were so inextricably joined that there was no question that wherever one of you went, the other would follow.
You knew you probably looked like you were having a meltdown when his expression morphed from one of expectation to one of concern. You forced yourself to take a deep, albeit shaky, breath and put one foot in front of the other until you were standing in front of him.
"Hey," you made yourself say. "Ready to go?"
Billy squinted at you before looking you up and down. "You doing alright? You looked like you weren't sure if you wanted to come over here. Did something happen?"
"What? No!" You scoffed, turning away from him so he wouldn’t see you trying to school your expression into something that didn’t make you look like a lovestruck idiot. "Of course I wanted to come over here. With you," you added, wincing at your own ineptitude.
"Okay," Billy finally allowed, drawing out the word. "Get in," he said, gesturing for you to climb into the passenger seat.
Once you were aware of your feelings for Billy, it seemed to be all you could think about. It wasn't even when you were around him, either. Lying in bed at night, you wished he was there with you. Every little mundane act of your life felt like it would be made completely better if Billy was just there with you and you weren't sure how long you could go on hiding what you wanted from him.
"So," Billy started on the last Friday of your senior year. "Want to go out for dinner tomorrow? Celebrate our impending freedom?"
"Sounds good," you agreed, staring out the passenger side window. Every time Billy asked you to hang out, you felt a little thrill shoot through you. What did it mean? Was it just as friends or was he also just trying to find ways to spend more time with you? You tried not to get your hopes up, because you didn’t want to ruin your friendship with Billy, but you couldn’t stop yourself from contemplating all the possibilities. "Burgers?" You suggested with a quick look at him.
"Nah," Billy answered, pulling to a stop in front of your house. "I've got something else in mind. Be ready by seven," he ordered.
You weren't sure what you were expecting, but Billy bringing you to one of the best Italian places within a twenty-mile radius of Hawkins wasn't it.
"What are we doing here?" You couldn't help but ask, hoping he wouldn't find offense in the question. By ‘something else,’ you had assumed Billy maybe meant going out for pizza, but the restaurant you were staring up at looked so far out of your usual price range that you weren’t even sure how either of you could afford it.
"Just thought we could try something new," Billy answered with a shrug of his shoulders.
When you looked at him, you noticed that he was wearing a pair of jeans without any holes or rips in the knees. His shirt was buttoned up and his bomber jacket was nowhere in sight. You weren't sure why Billy dressing up made you feel nervous, but you were suddenly aware of how clammy your hands felt.
"Wait there a second," Billy told you before he got out of his car. He rounded the hood before pulling the passenger door open, gesturing for you to get out.
Billy led you inside the restaurant, informing the maître d’ that he had a reservation for Hargrove. A waiter led you back to a table and Billy pulled a chair out for you, gesturing for you to sit down. You could feel your cheeks flush and you weren't sure if you looked as unsure as you felt, but once it was just the two of you at the table, you started to feel like everything would be okay. You were back on sure footing, because this was just a regular dinner with Billy, right? He was only going all out because he wanted to celebrate the fact that you were both about to finish high school.
It wasn't until Billy slid a menu over towards you that it all finally started to click into place for you.
"Order whatever you want, okay? I'm buying." There was a waver to his voice that had you flicking your gaze up from the menu to look at him.
You studied Billy for a moment, trying to figure out why the hell he sounded so nervous, when you got it.
"Is this a date?" You blurted with a startled look at Billy.
Billy rolled his eyes before shaking his head in fake dismay. "I thought you were the smart one, y'know? It took you long enough to figure it out. Thought you would've got it when I took you here instead of Burger Barn for the fiftieth time."
You weren't sure how to react for a moment, trying and failing to process the fact that you were on a date with your best friend, before the rest of his words sunk in. You let out a disbelieving laugh before grabbing a breadstick from the basket in the middle of the table. You ripped it in two before throwing half at Billy. He let out a thrilled, shocked laugh before he picked up the breadstick and pointedly took a bite out of it.
You weren't the kind for flowery bits of prose to describe your every waking moment. You would never be described as dreamy or wistful, but you couldn't deny that your first date with Billy felt entirely and completely magical.
By the time he was dropping you off at home, you realized you never wanted it to end. You hesitated before getting out of the car, shooting Billy an unsure look. Finally, you worked up all your courage and kissed him. Billy froze the moment your lips touched his and you were briefly worried that you had gone too fast. You shouldn't have been scared, though, because Billy suddenly jolted against you, as if springing to life, before his hand was in your hair and guiding you closer towards him.
By the time you pulled away, you had missed your curfew by ten minutes and you couldn't help the urge to go for broke.
"Wanna come up? I can sneak you in."
"What if your mom finds out? She'll kill us."
You shrugged your shoulders, helpless against the grin you shot him. "Let's risk it anyway."
Billy's laugh was more than enough incentive to carry through with your plan.
That night proved to you what you had known all along. Billy really did belong at your side, in your bed, holding you close. It was even better than you expected and you hoped the tiny flame of warmth lighting you up from the inside never died out.
You snuck Billy into your room every night until graduation. Your mom already knew how you felt about Billy and while she was never going to be happy about anyone stealing her only kid away, she supported your plan to move in with Billy over the summer. Her graduation gift to you was to pay for your deposit on an apartment, which meant that you were able to find a place with Billy by the time he took a job as a lifeguard at the Hawkins community pool.
You took a job at Bradley’s Big Buy, since you only had your meager savings to rely on. It wasn't the most glamorous of jobs, but it would help you pay rent while you took classes at Hawkins Community College.
That June was shaping up to be one of the best months of your entire life. To anyone else, it might seem mundane and boring, but you didn't care. Every day, you got to wake up next to Billy in the bed you shared before getting up and making breakfast. Trading early morning kisses before leaving for classes got you through the day until Billy picked you up after your shift at the store. By the time you were crawling into bed, you felt satisfied and fulfilled, knowing you were falling asleep next to your best friend just to wake up with his arm around your waist the next morning, set to go through it all again.
You were so used to the routine you set with Billy that you felt bereft when it was abruptly broken.
It started for you when Billy didn't bother to pick you up from Bradley's after your shift. You were worried something happened to him, but you hoped that maybe he had simply fallen asleep on the couch after his shift at the pool. You had to call your mom to give you a ride home, since you didn't feel comfortable walking home alone at night.
When you didn't spot the Camaro in your designated parking spot at the complex, you started fearing the worst. You knew Billy wouldn't just not come home. Something bad had happened to him and you didn't have the first clue about what to do to find him.
Your options were limited, but you finally got your mom to let you borrow her car so you could drive around Hawkins and look for Billy. You didn't find him that night and you didn't find him the next night. You checked with every hospital in a fifty-mile radius, but there wasn't anyone admitted fitting Billy's description.
You finally tracked him down two days after he went missing from your life at the city pool. You knew there was something wrong with him when you caught sight of him sitting in the lifeguard chair wearing a sweatshirt. There was no way that Billy could be cold, and even when he was, he wasn't the type to cover up. He would never actually admit it to anyone, but you knew he liked to show off his physique. He worked hard for it and while you never wanted to begrudge him anything he wanted, the wandering eyes of Hawkins housewives bothered you. To see him covered up and hunched in on himself, gloomily sipping an Icee was just downright bizarre and completely out of character for him.
"Billy," you called, walking up to him. You noticed his shoulders tense before he tipped his head down to stare at you.
"What?" he asked, his tone cold and detached.
"What do you mean 'what'? Where the hell have you been? I’ve been worried sick thinking you were dead in a ditch somewhere!" You weren’t sure whether to feel angry that he was being so flippant about his sudden absence from your life or relieved that he was alive.
"Around," he answered, casting his gaze up towards the sky. "Taking care of some things."
"Billy," you started, not sure how to continue. "Come home," you finally made yourself say. "Whatever this is or whatever happened, we'll figure it out, alright? Just come home," you begged, hating how your voice cracked on the word 'home.' Your home wasn't much of a home without Billy. You missed hearing his laugh and seeing how crazy his hair was every morning. You missed feeling his warmth in your bed next to you and the way he hummed whatever tune he had stuck in his head while he cooked breakfast. You missed his touch and his kisses and everything about him.
Billy let out a chuckle that sent a shiver down your spine. You knew it was probably crazy, but it sounded nothing like Billy. You suddenly felt like you were talking to a complete stranger. "There's nothing to figure out. I got bored, so I left.
"Bored," you repeated, trying to make sense of the word. "You got bored." It was like a switch had flipped and your whole world was turned upside down. You had always feared that Billy would get tired of domestic life with you, but you never once thought it would actually happen.
"Bored," Billy drawled with a nod of his head. "So, fuck off. And don't bother me again," he added, almost as an afterthought.
You wanted to yell and scream and try to get Billy to make some kind of sense, but you could feel tears beginning to sting your eyes and you didn't want to cry in front of him. "Fuck you," you snarled before turning away. You felt like you couldn't breathe as you walked away from him, every step taking you away from him another punch to your gut.
You were trying to figure out if it was worth it to walk home or if you should find a payphone to try to get in touch with your mom when you heard someone call your name.
You were surprised to see Max approaching you. "Are you okay? Did Billy--," she cut herself off, searching your expression with worry. "Did Billy hurt you?"
"You could say that," you scoffed, attempting to hide the pain you felt, but unable to stop the tears slipping down your face. "I think we broke up."
"Y/N," Max said, moving closer to you. "I don't think Billy's himself right now," she explained, her brow furrowing in concern. "But we're gonna try to fix it, okay? Just maybe steer clear of him until it's over."
"What? Until what's over? Max!" You called as she walked away from you. You saw Max rejoin her friends, all of them huddled by the fence that surrounded the pool. You had no idea what the hell was going on, but Max's words brought you just the tiniest bit of hope. Maybe you hadn't lost Billy after all. Maybe it was all just a big misunderstanding.
You continued to go about your life as much as you could despite the fact that Billy hadn't come home yet. The whole town was excited about the big Fourth of July celebration, but you couldn't have cared less. That was why you were at the store while most of the town was celebrating. You liked hanging out in the back room while the store was closed. It was better than going back to an empty apartment at any rate. Your boss was fine with it as long as you remembered to lock up and didn't make a mess, so you compensated him for his generosity by making sure the store looked perfect by the time it opened the next morning.
You weren't expecting to see anyone for the rest of the night, so you were surprised when a car pulled into the lot. You were ready to tell whoever it was that the store was closed, but when you noticed Max getting out of the car, helping an injured girl out of the back, you found yourself unlocking the door instead.
"Max? What the hell's going on?"
"We needed some supplies," she said, nodding towards the injured girl. "A lot of them."
You had no idea what was going on, but if Max was involved, then you wanted to help. "Take whatever you need," you told her, gesturing for her and the rest of the group to enter the store. “Just don’t make a mess, alright?”
You weren't quite sure why Max was hanging out with Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers or why they all seemed like they were traumatized out of their minds. You knew you would be in for a world of trouble the next time inventory was taken, but you didn't care. There was a feeling in your gut that told you whatever had spooked the others had something to do with Billy. So, while they loaded up the car with fireworks and medical supplies, you calmly locked up the store and turned to face Max.
"I'm coming with you."
"What? Y/N, no, you can't. It’s not safe," Max tried to dissuade you. She shared a panicked look with Lucas Sinclair before looking back at you.
"I can," you told her, knowing you weren't about to be left behind. "Whatever's going on, I can help. I can’t just sit here all night wondering if you’re okay. I’m going with you."
"You really shouldn't," Dustin Henderson chimed in with a frown. “You’ve got no idea what you’re throwing yourself into.”
"I don’t care,” you dismissed with a shake of your head. “Look, I'm not staying behind while you all run off into danger. I've already let you steal from my job. Just let me do this.”
"Get in," Nancy told you, ignoring Max’s noise of protest. “We’re wasting time arguing.”
“Just...,” Max trailed off, shooting you an uncertain look. “Just try to keep an open mind. I promise you’re not going crazy.”
Those words would prove to haunt you, because what you experienced next felt like a complete and total shredding of your sanity.
Your night descended into complete chaos. Hiding from a gargantuan, fleshy monster was one thing, but seeing Billy attempt to run Nancy over with his precious Camaro while she attempted to shoot him was a completely different one. You didn’t even get to see if Billy was okay after someone crashed into his car because you were being yanked into a car by Steve 'The Hair' Harrington before you could be killed by the monster that was terrorizing the mall.
None of it made sense and despite getting a brief rundown on the Upside Down and a girl with superpowers and the monster that had infected your boyfriend and numerous other people around Hawkins, you still couldn’t wrap your head around how the night ended.
Because there was no way in hell it was real. You could accept that everything else was possible, but seeing Billy slump to the floor, bleeding and broken, was the one thing you couldn’t believe.
"Billy!" You cried, rushing forward, hardly caring about the monster that was still standing. All you could see was the pain and agony on Billy's face as he fell. You pulled him into your arms, your hand shaking as you attempted to wipe the blood from his face. But it wasn't even really blood. It was black and viscous, sticking to your hand as you met Billy's eyes. He looked so lost and terrified that you couldn't help the sob of anguish that escaped your mouth at the sight of him. "Don't leave me," you begged him. "Stay with me, alright? We'll get you help. We’ll fix this."
"Sorry," Billy gasped, his body convulsing in your hold. "I'm sorry," he said, his eyes tracking from you to someone standing over your shoulder. He looked to you again, his eyes shining with unshed tears. "Should've--," he started, before he cut himself off, coughing up a mouthful of clotted blood. "Love you," he got out with a gasp. "Love...," he trailed off before his eyes closed, leaving you clutching him tight, fighting the urge to shake him and demand he open his eyes.
"Billy? Billy!" Max yelled before falling to her knees beside you. "Billy, get up. Get up!" She demanded, putting her hand on his shoulder. "We need you," Max tried, tears beginning to stream down her face. "I need you. Y/N needs you!" She pleaded, meeting your eyes. "What do we do?"
But there wasn’t anything you could do. Billy wasn’t moving and he wasn’t breathing and he wasn’t alive.
Billy wasn’t alive.
You felt like you couldn't breathe and there was something clawing up your throat, begging to break free. It felt like it was going to split you apart and you desperately clung to Billy’s body as you lost your fight against it.
It wasn't until later when you were sitting in the back of an ambulance with a blanket wrapped around your shoulders that you realized what it was.
A scream.

You’re Still You (1/4)
You wake up in the Upside Down and you're not exactly human anymore.
PART ONE | PART TWO | PART THREE | PART FOUR
Tumblr media
Words: 3.3K Author’s Note: Stranger Things AU where Eddie lives!
Eyes snapping open, you gasp for breath and scramble into a sitting position as you wildly glance all around you.
It's dark, some sort of particles drift all around you, and the sky lights up with flashes of red lightning.
You're in the Upside Down.
It takes a moment for your brain to reboot so you remember exactly why you're in this nightmarish place and then you remember the plan to sneak up on Vecna. You'd been part of the decoy team- distracting the demobats so Steve, Nancy and Robin had a fairly clear way to enter Creel House.
You remember Eddie putting on the most metal concert ever- his fingers flying over his guitar as he played Master of Puppets to draw the demobats to you. But the demobats proved to be too much for you, Eddie and Dustin, and you and Eddie made sure Dustin was in the clear before sharing a look of resignation.
In order to give the other team as much time as possible, either one or both of you weren't going to walk away from this.
And from the looks all around you, you realize you're the one who apparently didn't walk away.
Suddenly remembering the demobats taking chunk after chunk out of you, you start patting down your arms and legs and abdomen. But there are no wounds present.
Startled, you quickly stand and check yourself again. You know you'd been attacked, hell you were overwhelmed by the demobats while Eddie screamed your name, but there's not a single wound to show for it.
Kill. Feed.
The raspy words in your head send a shiver down your spine.
Lead my army and unleash hell on earth.
You reach up to rub at your temple, eyes closing as a pain pulses behind your eyes. "Get it together," you mumble to yourself.
When the only sounds you can hear are your heavy breathing and the chattering of the creatures of this hellish dimension, you open your eyes and gather your bearings. You realize you're not far from the trailer park Eddie lived in and pick up one of the abandoned bicycles to make the trek back.
The gate between the two dimensions that resides in Forest Hills Trailer Park is a lot bigger than it was the last time you'd seen it. Before it was just a hole in Eddie's trailer's ceiling and now it's practically swallowed the whole trailer park. It pulses red and angry, and there are hundreds of demobats standing guard. You hesitate upon approaching, but then the strangest thing happens.
As you near the gate, the demobats chatter as they stare at you before backing off and making room for you to pass.
"Huh."
The gate looks a lot more threatening and hostile, but something tells you that it's still a gate. So, steeling yourself, you find a point where the gate seems the most accessible and push yourself through. The nearly translucent membrane is harder to push through, but after struggling for a bit your hand is the first part of you to break through.
You do not understand the physics of crossing dimensions, so while you enter the gate standing up and exit it falling on your side, you readily pick yourself up and dust yourself off.
The trailer park is abandoned seeing as numerous trailers have fallen victim to the enormous pulsing gate. As you start walking towards the main entrance/exit of the park, you realize the area has been cordoned off with police tape and wooden barriers.
Feed. Kill.
Your head throbs and you stumble at the pain. But then it vanishes as quickly as it had come on and you let your feet carry you further and further into Hawkins.
It's eerily quiet in your hometown and you're surprised not a single vehicle is out and about. You're not sure why your first instinct is to completely bypass your home, but you do, and you eventually find yourself roaming the streets of Loch Nora.
Realizing Steve lives nearby, you urge your feet to carry you in that direction.
The only vehicle you see at the Harrington household is the one that belongs to Steve, so you feel a bit better about knocking on the door so late at night. You try to pay attention to the noises on the other side of the front door and are surprised when you can actually hear the footsteps of your friend walking around.
You flinch back as the door opens and you and Steve stare at one another in surprise.
"Y-YN?" He stammers.
"Stevie?" You question, heart pounding.
A beat passes and then Steve's throwing himself at you, arms wrapping around you in a heartwarming embrace. Your arms go around his waist as your face presses into his neck. Seconds pass and the most beautiful aroma fills your senses.
Kill. Feed.
As your eyes fall shut, your nose skims the skin of his neck. The sound of his heartbeat fills your ears, your mouth salivates, and your tongue is centimeters away from his flesh when he says, "I thought you were dead! Eddie and Dustin-"
You snap back to yourself, heart pounding at the thought of what you were about to do. "I- I think I was."
Steve tenses and then pulls back. "What?"
Your eyes fill with tears as you meet his gaze. "I don't- I think someone's wrong with me."
"Hey. It's okay. Don't cry. We'll figure this out." A sob breaks free from your throat and Steve brings you back into his arms, leading you inside his house. "I'll, uh, I'll just call a code red and the party will know what to do."
Inside, Steve wastes no time calling anyone and everyone in the know about Hawkins' dirty little secret. You sit in his living room, arms crossed over your stomach as you hunch in on yourself. But the grumblings of your stomach become unbearable, so you get up to raid the kitchen.
By the time Steve is done calling in everyone and telling some of the party to bring in the others who had no phone to reach them at, he finds you in his kitchen surrounded by various lunch meats.
"Everyone's on their way," he tells you.
"Okay." You're eating sandwich meat right out of the packaging, grimacing at the taste. It's nowhere near what you're craving.
You chug glass after glass of water and when it doesn't do anything to sate your thirst, you give up and go back to the living room.
"Do you, uh, do you maybe want to shower and change clothes?" Steve eventually asks. "No offense, but you look like shit."
Huffing a short laugh, you nod. "Please?"
"Follow me."
Steve leads you upstairs to his room, pulling out some of your clothes that had somehow migrated over to his place over the past several months. You collect the clothes and a towel, and head into the bathroom to clean yourself up.
You're not sure how long you've been showering when you finally decide to get out. You pull on your clothes and towel dry your hair as much as you can, and then make your way downstairs where several voices can be heard.
Hesitantly walking into the living room, you stand there as all eyes flick over to you.
"Holy shit," Dustin mumbles.
You clasp your hands in front of you and smile sheepishly as you stand under the archway leading into the room. "Hey, Henderson."
Eddie, Dustin, Lucas, Will, Mike, Eleven, Robin, Nancy, Jonathan, Joyce and Hopper all stare at you with trepidation etched in their every feature.
Kill.
You wince at the voice and gulp when you see Will sit a little straighter in his seat.
"YN?" Your gaze slides over to Eddie who has stepped forward ahead of the gathered group. "Is that really you?"
You nod. The group seems to exhale with relief, but then tense all over again when you utter, "Mostly."
Eddie holds himself still, but decides that he just doesn't care.
You're here.
You're alive.
And he's so fucking relieved because while the two of you were cordial with each other in school, you lost touch after you graduated and then reconnected while he was on the run. And just as something started to simmer between the two of you and there was an understanding you would explore it after you defeated Vecna, you died.
Eddie is on the move before anyone can stop him and the second his arms are around you, you start crying all over again. The two of you hold tightly onto each other before he pulls back, grasping your face in his hands as his lips press to your forehead.
"I knew they had to be wrong," Robin says as she moves next, pulling you from Eddie so she can hug you as well. "There was no way you were dead."
"But that's the thing though," you say as she steps back. "I did die."
"What does that even mean, kid?" Hopper asks.
Everyone watches you as Eddie leads you over to one of the recliners and pulls you down onto his lap. His arms wrap loosely around your waist as you settle against him and he hooks his chin over your shoulder. "Exactly as I said. I died."
"But you're here." Eleven frowns. "How?"
"I dunno." Your brow furrows as you try to recall your last moments. "One second I'm telling Eddie that it was going to be our year, and the next.. the next I'm waking up all alone in the Upside Down."
Nancy frowns as she stares between Eddie and Dustin. "Did you guys even check for a pulse? Maybe it was just really weak."
Dustin opens his mouth to defend himself, but you shake your head. "I'm pretty sure I died... and woke up different."
"Why do you say that, sweetheart?" Eddie asks, squeezing you a little.
"Because when I approached the gate to come back home, it was surrounded by demobats. The demobats were scared of me," you admit. "They backed off the closer I got."
Robin's eyes widen. "Is this- is this a side effect of rabies?"
Your lips twitch in amusement as Steve groans. "Will you shut up about rabies, Robin? YN isn't foaming at the mouth or whatever."
You clear your throat to gain their attention. "What ended up happening?" You ask. "After I.."
"Died?" Mike asks, eyebrow arched.
"Yeah." You grimace. "That."
"Max is, uh, Max is in the hospital," Lucas says. Everyone glances at him, sympathy in their eyes. "Steve, Nancy and Robin got to Vecna, but not before Vecna got to Max."
"She died and all four gates opened," Steve then says.
"But I brought her back. Just not fully," Eleven admits.
"They say she's brain dead," Lucas finishes.
Your eyes fill with tears as your bottom lip trembles. "I'm so sorry, guys."
Lucas shrugs. "Wasn't your fault. You did all you could. We just underestimated him."
"The good thing is he's gone now, so..."
"But he's not." The words leave your mouth before you can stop them and the atmosphere of the room becomes tense all over again.
"What do you mean by that?" Eddie asks.
You nervously shift in his lap. "I, uh, I can hear someone in my head. Raspy voice. It's only happened a couple of times, but it's not- it's not a pleasant experience. And given what we know about Venca and how he controls things from the Upside Down, I'm assuming it's him."
"What does this voice say?" Joyce wonders, gaze darting to Will who shifts uncomfortably in his own seat.
"To kill. And feed. And lead an army that will unleash hell on earth."
The room goes so quiet that you can hear a pin drop- well, at least for them maybe. You're left listening to pounding hearts and smelling the fear that is slowly starting to waft off of them.
Before another word can be uttered, however, a heart stopping screech sounds from Steve's backyard.
"Oh what now?" Hopper groans.
Everyone scrambles out of their seats, staying behind Hopper and Joyce, as they rush towards the back sliding door. When you stand up from Eddie's lap, he keeps hold of your hand without a word and walks with you to see what the hell's going on now.
As everyone files onto the back patio, you and Eddie end up at the end of the line as everyone slowly spreads out. For a moment everyone kind of breathes a sigh of relief when there's nothing to be seen, and then the screech sounds again.
Your skin prickles, your heart hammers inside your ribcage, and alarm bells start to sound as you watch a gangly, seven-foot-tall creature walk out from the shadows. It looks almost humanoid, the way it stalks towards the backyard gate and pulls itself up and over it.
Kill. Lead my army. Kill!
. . . .
Another screech sounds, but the gathered group are confused because the screech has come from their side and not from the demogorgon who was across the pool.
Everyone looks to YN who's rooted to the spot and whose skin has gone a pale gray. Eddie takes a couple steps forward to get a look at her face and his eyes widen when he notices that YN's eyes have gone pitch black, the skin around her eyes having darkened as well to give them a sunken look.
"Sweetheart?"
YN's head twitches to the side, her jaw opening as she makes a chattering noise to the demogorgon on the other side of the pool still. And it's then they notice the mouth full of pointy teeth.
"Shit. What is she?" Mike asks, trying to pull Eleven behind him.
"I don't know," Eddie says.
The demogorgon shrieks again, but the group only have eyes for YN who walks forward and crouches near the edge of the pool. Her shoulders roll and then their eyes are drawn to her back where they can see something moving underneath her shirt. From one moment to the next, her shirt rips and enormous leathery wings sprout from each shoulder blade.
"Jesus Christ!" Eddie yells, stumbling backwards.
"Are those wings?!" Robin yells.
Hopper, Joyce, Nancy and Jonathan do their best to push the kids back, but the kids are stubborn as ever. The demogorgon shrieks, YN shrieks back, and then she's launching herself across the pool when the demogorgon leaps.
"Holy shit. It's a monster battle royale," Dustin exclaims as YN tackles the demogorgon mid-leap.
The group watches in shocked awe as YN rolls with the demogorgon on the ground, getting the upper hand as she straddles the shrieking monster. She manages to grasp the demogorgon's wrist in her hands, pinning them on either side of its flowered head. They shriek at one another, monster to monster, and then YN's mouth opens far wider than it should be capable of before latching onto the demogorgon's meaty shoulder.
The demogorgon snarls and tries to buck off YN, but she leans back up with black blood smeared around her mouth. Releasing one of the demogorgon's wrists, she then shoves her clawed hand into its chest cavity. As she pulls her hand free with whatever passes as a heart for the monster, she watches as the demogorgon stills before taking a bite out of its heart.
"Gross," Mike grumbles.
His voice garners YN's attention and she looks at them with eyes still black as night. She crawls off the demogorgon, chattering at them in curiosity as she perches herself on the edge of the pool once more, wings raised above her.
"Shit, shit, shit," Dustin utters.
Eleven puts herself in front of the stunned group and they watch as YN lowly growls, dipping her head low as her top lip trembles in agitation. Eleven raises her hand, but Eddie's quick to lunge and push her arm back down.
"Don't! She's still our friend."
"She's about to attack us!" Lucas exclaims. "That's not YN anymore, man."
Eddie looks pained at the words and then glances back over at YN, only to come up short as he sees her staring down at her reflection in the water. "Wait. Just.. wait."
. . . .
Staring at your reflection in horror, you scramble backwards. You can't remember anything from the last few minutes, so you're confused as to why you're on the opposite side of the pool with a now dead demogorgon and your friends staring at you in fear.
Pain shoots down your back as something scrapes the concrete ground and you yelp as you fall onto your side. Then glancing over your shoulder, your stomach drops at the sight of leathery wings attached to your back. "What the.."
"YN?" Eddie calls out.
Your head whips forward before you hesitantly climb to your feet, trying to balance with the newest additions to your back. You somehow end up looking down at your hands, only to frown when you see your right hand clawed and covered in black goo. Blood.
"Sweetheart?"
You look up, tears filling your eyes. You've never had anyone look at you the way your friends are looking at you right now and it hurts. But not only are you hurt, you're terrified as well. You don't know what the hell is going on.
Kill. Kill. Kill!
"I.. I'm sorry," you say, slightly shaking your head to rid yourself of the raspy voice. "I didn't-" Your wings start to flap, lifting you in the air just enough so your feet are inches off the ground.
"YN." Eddie's voice cracks as you look at him once more and your heart aches for the boy you had hopefully seen a future with. "It's okay. We can figure this out. Just- just come back down, sweetheart."
You shake your head with a sad smile. "He won't stop until I'm in his control for good. It's not safe. I'm not safe." Your smile wobbles as the first tear falls. "It was almost our year, Munson. Almost."
And then with one strong flap of your wings, you shoot off into the sky, your friends shouts following you into the night sky.
Tumblr media
You fly high up in the night sky for hours, intent on getting as far away from Hawkins as you can. The raspy voice is no longer at the back of your mind, but the longing for your friends is still there. You want nothing more than to let them help you, but you know that can't happen in Hawkins or as long as Vecna is still alive.
You wind up in California of all places, breaking into an abandoned warehouse to hide from the sun.
For the next few days, you find out a few things about yourself. The sun only hurts when you've been exposed to it for too long. You learn to hide your wings and bring them out on command, and you realize that the gnawing hunger you feel is the hunger for blood.
You're not comfortable with killing, but the hunger is too much to ignore. So, you hunt, but you hunt miles outside of the town you've hunkered down in. Then taking the money from your victims, you go shopping for jeans, shorts, and backless shirts so your wings don't ruin them.
Then when you're comfortable enough, you finally decide to wander the apparent murder capital of the world- Santa Carla.
The boardwalk has drawn your attention and you're grateful that the flashing lights and whistles and smell of sugary and greasy foods mask that of the blood rushing through everyone's veins.
You're walking through the crowd, smiling at passing teens and children as they rush to and from the rides. Hands tucked in the back pocket of your jean shorts; you're not paying attention to those you've suddenly caught the attention of.
At least not until you hear, "Am I dreaming or is that you, YLN?"
You freeze and turn towards the sound of the voice, eyes subtly widening at the boy smirking right at you. Your tense shoulders drop as you chuckle, shaking your head in fond amusement. "Yeah, it's me. Don't cream your pants, Hargrove."
To be continued...

Oh fuck Princess- Eddie Munson 18+  Word Count: 2,336
Tumblr media
Hi! This is my first ever SMUT ahhh! Very excited because y'all I cannot contain my Eddie Munson obsession anymore it's time to unleash the horny writer inside me. FUCK it we BALLLLL whoop whoop!! Enjoy bitches <3
TW
rough mouth fucking? cussing. daddy kink? fingering. rough oral sex?giving oral sex?
sorry if I miss any please don't hesitate to message me and bully me into correcting my TW's lol (I'm a fucking idiot)
______________________________________________________________
Eddie Munson enjoyed watching you. He loved watching the star cheerleader of Hawkins High in her cute little cheerleading outfit that hugged her body so beautifully. He's always wondered what that perky little ass looked like arched up in the air while you pretty little lips were wrapped around his long, thick, cum-filled cock.
He'd love to make his little fantasy of you a reality and knew exactly what he had to do.
Eddie knew you popular's well. Eddie noticed how you walked around Hawkins with your head all high because everyone considered you the prettiest girl in town. You were the cheer captain, you passed all your classes, the teachers loved you, you were a parents wet dream and everyone either wanted you or wanted to BE you.
You knew Eddie well. He was infamous for his Hellfire speeches in the school cafeteria. You'd never admit it but you lived for his speeches. He would stand on his lunch table and would call out the jocks for their ignorance. And you loved how outspoken he was, how he didn't care what people thought about him.
But oh man not only did he notice, he heard it himself. He overheard you and Robin one day talking in the library the next shelf over.
"Jesus what the hell am I DOING WRONG," you whined "I mean even his friends can't keep their mouths closed when they see me! But HIM, Eddie fucking Munson, he won't even bat an eye, AN EYE ROBIN" you whisper yelled
"I don't know what you see in him y/n." Robin sighed, "If he hasn't noticed that the prettiest girl in town has a secret boner for the town freak, maybe he's not the one." Robin shrugged
"SHHHH keep your voice down!" you shushed loudly,
Eddie smiled to himself. He couldn't believe Hawkins Princess wanted to be seen by the freak. It intrigued him.
Eddie then started to target the popular crowd every lunch.
Calling out their bullshit standards and expectations.
He also stuck his tongue out at Jason, the boys varsity basketball captain during their heated argument
(Which you thought was extremely hot btw)
Tumblr media
But, you hated it.
You hated that he called everyone else but you out. You wanted to get into a heated and hot argument with him in front of the whole school.
Just like he did with Jason.
He'd be so turned on by your yelling that after he'd drag you into the janitors closet and fuck your brains out till you couldn't take anymore.
Something you also couldn't bare was the fact that you had every guy in Hawkins on their hands and knees for you at any given second, every guy except for Eddie.
But Eddie knew you longed for his attention.
Shit, he even knew a glance from him would satisfy you but he wanted to push your buttons. He wanted you to approach him.
He wanted you to beg.
Eddie sat in the room of his trailer strumming the strings of his electric guitar playing Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix while taking a few hits of the joint he just rolled.
He was so lost in the music he was playing he didn't even hear you at his door.
"Hello? Anyone home!?" you called out as you knocked on the door of Eddie's trailer.
You crossed your arms and tried to make yourself as warm as possible considering you were wearing nothing but a school hoodie and your cheer skirt.
"HELLO? MUNSON WE NEED TO TALK NO-" you were cut off as the door flung open and you came face to face with the infamous beautiful freak himself
"now" you said embarrassingly low as you looked at Munson up and down admiring the tattoos on his arm and then your eyes followed up to his beautiful face.
He was so pretty.
His soft eyes. Messy hair.
And god don't get me started on his pretty mouth. You wanted to ride his face so bad.
"Geez any louder captain?" Eddie looked down at you, rolling his eyes, moving to the side making enough room for you to step inside his trailer.
The smell of marijuana lingered the air of the trailer and you felt at ease.
"So," Eddie started
"What brings the queen of Hawkins High into the Freak's humble abode?" He says slightly amused that his little plan actually worked.
"I wanna know what your deal is with me." you said ignoring the blood viciously pumping inside your heart
"My deal?"Eddie questions as he tilts his head looking at you up and down suddenly very intrigued
"You always pick fights with my teammates and the entire basketball team but you always ignore me," You look at Eddie obviously frustrated and slightly embarrassed that you're telling a boy you've never even held a conversation with that he doesn't acknowledge you
"Jesus Christ what world do you popular's live in?" Eddie scoffed
"You're in way over your head sweetheart." Eddie said as he slowly walked towards you
" Are you that out of touch with reality?" He looked deep into your eyes hooking his finger under your chin.
"Maybe I just want to be put in my place" you shrugged softly as you looked into his now dark eyes.
Eddie tried so hard to not push you onto your knees and stuff his cock down your throat. But he was being patient.
He wanted to hear you beg.
He wanted to hear you beg for permission to cum all over his long hard cock. He was growing tired of the games.
He looked down at your doe eyed "fuck me" eyes, chuckled to himself and walked away to his room.
He smiled when he heard you follow.
"Hey i’m talking to you Munson!" you said with a bratty tone
Eddie took a hit of his joint and looked you up and down
His room was warm. It smelt like marijuana and a strong cologne that made your core heat up, and that wasn't even the best part, you noticed his guitar was hooked up and instantly knew it was the reason he took so long to answer the door.
"Are you gonna stop being a brat and tell me what you really want or are we gonna keep doing this?" Eddie said slightly annoyed at the pent up tent in his pants the he so desperately wanted to free
The marijuana was finally starting to get to him and he wanted nothing more than to fuck your brains out.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about." you said starting to feel small but still keeping your ground.
Shit does he know I want him?
GOD OF COURSE HE DOES
Once again, Eddie started to walk towards you, eyes low and red from hitting his joint
"Be straight with me princess," He said lowly as he lifted up your skirt slowly running his finger up your inner thigh to reach your hot core
"Shit" you muttered at his finger pressing into your clit
"You want to be my little slut?" He questioned in a deep hushed tone, pushing your panties to the side gliding a finger up and down your slit
You felt your pussy grow wetter as he kept his pace painfully slow. You wanted him to shove his thick fingers in your gummy walls but you knew you had to speak or he wouldn't continue.
"What do you want darling?" Eddie said as he continued to drag his finger up and down your slit.
"I want you." you whispered
Eddie poked two fingers at your entrance making you gasp,
"I'm sorry sweetheart but you're gonna have to speak up" he said leaning in whispering into your ear
"Fuck Eddie I want you!" you moaned moving your hips trying to create friction between your gooey entrance and his fingers.
"See! and all you had to do was use your words" Eddie smirked and roughly shoved his fingers in your tight warm hole.
"Oh fuck" you moaned trying so hard not to fall forward considering you were standing up
"Look at you princess," Eddie said looking down at the moaning mess you've become. His dick was rock hard from seeing you trying to hold yourself up as he curved his fingers inside of you
"Look at you taking my fingers so well, fuck I can't wait to stuff my cock inside of you princess" Eddie moaned picking up his pace
You pressed your head in his chest to stop you from falling forward as Eddie was whispering the dirtiest things into you ear
"Oh fuck Eddie I'm close" you moaned feeling the knot form into your stomach
Eddie lifts your head up and smashes his lips into yours pumping his fingers inside of you so fucking fast that it makes your eyes roll back
"Mm come for daddy princess." Eddie moans against your hot wet mouth feeling your walls clench around his fingers
You rode his fingers as you came undone and he fucking loved it. He loved the feeling of your hot mouth pressed against his making the prettiest noises he's ever heard
He slowly pulled his fingers out of you refusing to break eye contact and stuck them in his mouth sucking the mess off his fingers.
"You made the prettiest mess on daddies finger doll," Eddie said as he finished sucking off the remaining cum.
He squeezed your face and wiped the drool of your mouth with his thumb.
"But you've been a brat," he said darkly
You swallowed harshly as he stared deep into your soul.
"Strip." he said dragging his finger under your chin as you stared at him dumbfounded already so far gone over him.
"It wasn't a question sweetheart" he said with a serious tone that made your core heat up.
You lifted your jacket over your head and shivered at the cool breeze of air which instantly made your nipples harden.
You watched Eddie walk towards the corner of his bed and taking a seat
He looked at you and started fiddling with his belt.
"Keep the skirt on princess," he demanded as he pulled his hard cock out beginning to stroke it. "Now come here and get on your knees." he said darkly.
You slowly walked over and and sat on your knees with your hands nicely placed on your thighs.
"Look how obedient my girl is," Eddie growled as he stroked his throbbing cock.
You looked at Eddie's lust filled eyes and then down at his huge cock which instantly made your mouth drool.
Eddie started to see the want in your eyes.
The need.
You wanted to touch yourself so bad.
Eddie was looking at you while stroking his dick and it made you so fucking horny.
You scooted up and laid your head on one of his thighs so you were inches away from his cock.
Fuck that made Eddie crazy.
"Can I play with myself please?" you whined looking deep into his hungry eyes
Eddie chuckled
"Open your mouth and keep those hands still." He demanded, "You're not touching that pretty little pussy till I say so." he said smoothly making your stomach flutter
Eddie stood up and stuck his two fingers down your throat then held his hand out in front of your mouth,
“Spit" he demanded
You spit in his hand and he started to stroke his dick with your saliva.
Fuck
"You gonna be a good girl for me princess?" he questioned as he looked down at you still stroking his throbbing cock
"Yes daddy." you stated already getting eager for what's coming
"Good, cause I'm not going easy." he said as he shoved his throbbing cock roughly into your mouth causing you to gag.
He continued to fuck your mouth ruthlessly and got so turned on by how much you were actually taking his dick.
Your eyes were a watering mess and seeing the runny mascara on your face made Eddie's dick twitch inside your mouth
"Oh fuck princess you're taking all of me aren't you?" Eddie moaned slowing down his pace trying to feel more of your tongue
He grabbed the sides of your face with his two hands when he felt the vibration of your cries and whines on his already exploding cock
"Princess wants to touch herself huh?" Eddie taunts as he feels his high coming in hard
"Go ahead sweetheart, play with that pretty little clit" Eddie moans feeling you whimper on his cock
"Daddy wants to see his slut come undone." Eddie says as he picks up his pace feeling his high.
You rubbed your two fingers along your slit bringing the wetness of your pussy to your clit and started to rub it viciously.
You moaned on Eddie's dick already feeling that familiar knot in your stomach and rolled your eyes so far back
"Fuck are you close princess?" Eddie questioned as he thrusted harder into your mouth
You hummed rubbing your clit even faster which made him pick up his pace even more
"Oh fuck princess, I'm coming" Eddie moaned bucking his hips, cumming so hard in your mouth.
Fuck this was something he's never felt before.
He felt so euphoric.
You gasped so hard as he pulled out your mouth and let out the nastiest moan Eddie's ever heard in his life as he watched you ride out the rest of your high on your fingers.
You brought your fingers to your mouth and sucked the juices off your fingers,
"Thank you for putting me in my place daddy." you looked up at him, and batted your pretty eyes like the obedient little whore you are, cum still dripping down the sides of your mouth.
And this turned Eddie on so fucking much
"Get on the bed. Now." Eddie demanded still looking down at her, admiring the mess she is, with his dick still rock hard.

Love, Hate, and Judas Priest (Eddie Munson x Reader)
***********
Requested by: @bobcatbaker @they-ignoreme (Requests for a Reader that acts just like Eddie, and Something Inspired by 'Ten Things I Hate About You'.)
Summary: A classic Enemies to Lovers fic. Eddie Munson has hated you ever since you strolled into Hellfire wearing the same Judas Priest shirt as him. But there's a thin line between love and hate.
Warnings: Enemies to Lovers (Hurt/Comfort, Arguing, Angst, Pettiness), Cursing, Spicy Kisses, Fluff, She/Her pronouns. I think that's it??
(Requests are open but the waitlist is long!)
***********
Eddie Munson did not like you.
He knew that from the moment he laid eyes on you. No. Before that, even. He knew it from the moment Dustin had started gushing to him about you.
He was far too excited, vomiting information at him like there was going to be a quiz. "She's just moved to Hawkins from New York, dude. It's her second time doing Senior Year."
Eddie bristled. Flunking senior year was his thing.
"I'm telling you, she's wicked. She knows everything about DnD and she likes metal! You should've heard her talking about the last campaign she ran with her party in New York!" Eddie clenched his jaw a little, quickly realizing how dead set Dustin was on you joining the party. "You've got to meet her. It's like you're the same person! It's crazy! You're gonna love her, man."
Eddie decided right then and there that the two of you were, in fact, nothing alike.
Hellfire that night only cemented his opinions.
"Henderson!" Eddie called from his throne, dramatically. "You are tired. You are injured... You have but one night before an attack is unleashed on your lands. What say ye?"
Dustin nodded solemnly, contemplating his depleted health, "I take a long rest." He crosses his arms decidedly over his chest.
Eddie hummed in agreement, looking back at his book. "Wise choice, Sir Nog-"
"Actually, he can't do that." Mike cut in from across the table. "A long rest lasts twenty-four hours. He won't recuperate and regain spent abilities until a full day has passed."
Eddie frowned, "Who the hell decided that?"
"...The rules?" Mike shrugged, scratching his neck awkwardly. "Y/N says that-"
"Y/N?" He felt a flash of anger, annoyance churning his stomach. "And since when do I give a shit what Y/N says?"
Mike blanched, stuttering.
"Tell me Wheeler, what does your shirt say?"
He sighed, "Hellfire."
Eddie hummed in mock surprise, "Hellfire! And who's king of Hellfire, remind me? Who's Dungeon Master?"
Mike went quiet, crooking an eyebrow, "You?"
"Me. Not Y/N." He crossed his legs over the arm of his throne, "If she has something to say about how I play, she can take it up with me."
Who does she think she is? He ranted to himself in his head as he gathered his things after club. Showing up from god knows where and telling him how to run his own goddamn club. Poisoning his little freshmen sheep.
Mike relayed the whole thing to you in study hall the next day. "I didn't realize he'd flip out!" He laughed at the thought. "Like, shit!"
Dustin dragged you with him to the drama room the next week, your book in tow.
The moment Eddie saw you, he opened his mouth to argue with Dustin. You beat him to it, "What the fuck, Henderson?"
Eddie scoffed. That's what he called Dustin.
This detail, however, was easily the least of the concerns swimming in his head as he looked you up and down. You were wearing the same Judas Priest shirt as him. The exact same one.
Eddie swung a leg over the arm of his throne, staring you down, "Who is this?"
He knew exactly who the fuck you were.
Dustin sighed, realizing neither of you were going to make this easy on him. "Eddie, this is Y/N. She's joining Hellfire."
You both whip around to look at Dustin, speaking in Unison, "And who the hell decided that?"
Eddie scowled, looking over at you. Your gaze shot daggers at him. Embarrassing.
Dustin held back a smile. Jesus, you both were to stubborn for your own good. Only Eddie Munson would find a way to not like someone who was exactly like him. Dustin soldiered on, "She knows a shit ton about DnD, dude. She'd make a great member in our party."
Eddie hummed smugly, sarcasm dripping from his tone, "Mhm. Yeah. Ok."
You clenched your jaw at his sarcasm as he stood, sliding one of his thick game books down the table to you.
"Do me a favor. Crack that open and come back when you know the difference between an elf and a tiefling, princess."
Dustin opened his mouth to scold him, but he didn't get a chance to. Wordlessly, you pulled off your backpack and unzipped it, pulling out a well-loved copy of the same book. You slammed it down on top of Eddie's with a smug smile, "Your edition is out of date. I'd think about an upgrade."
He glared at you from the head of the table. Yeah. You knew what kind of guy this was. You were all too familiar with this brand of douche bag. You hadn't even wanted to join his stupid ass club, but now? Now you wanted to join just to piss him off.
Eddie crossed his arms over his chest, his eyes narrowed. You rolled your eyes, turning your back to him without a word, and march off, confidently.
"See you next Wednesday, Freddie."
***********
Things got better. You and Eddie tolerated each other. Sometimes.
In the beginning, it was all out war all the time. By your third club meeting, Dustin was already having to hold an intervention.
"You're acting like fifth graders, guys. You're supposed to be the grown ups!"
"I'll start acting like a grown up when she stops-"
"Eddie!" Dustin cut him off, shooting him a look. The Freshman sighed, rubbing his temples. "I'm not asking you two to be nice to each other. I'm not even asking you to talk anything out. I'm just asking for mutual respect."
Neither you or Eddie looked at Dustin, just glared at each other. You crossed your arms. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
"You know exactly what that means." Dustin took a deep breath. He turned back towards the throne. "Eddie, Y/N knows her shit. She's a good player. You can at least admit that."
Eddie was silent. Dustin turned to you.
"Y/N, Eddie's a damn good Dungeon Master. He writes awesome campaigns. You know that's the truth."
You went quiet.
"You both have traits that the other can respect. So stop acting like children and be good sports, ok?"
You and Eddie nodded.
Dustin sighed in relief, "Now shake hands."
You made it to a point of good natured mutual-dislike. Sure, you still teased one another mercilessly and argued about stupid shit, but there was respect. A silent agreement that ok...maybe you didn't actually mean everything you said.
Today was different though. Eddie wasn't putting up with shit today.
He'd woken up with a splitting head ache, already fifteen minutes late to his first period. The van broke down on the way to school, and he'd had to put up with bullshit from his teachers and Jason Carver all day. His head still hurt, and on top of all that? Wayne had just taken a pay cut.
You got to the drama room a few minutes after he did. He nodded, acknowledging you, and you watched for a minute as he stiffly laid out fresh character sheets over the table. Something was wrong. Damnit.
You debated whether you should say anything, scratching your neck awkwardly. Finally, you spoke, your voice sounding too loud in the silence of the room. "Are you ok?"
He paused, looking at you, and both of you were quiet for a moment. He cleared his throat, "Yeah. Just...you know. Headache."
You hummed, nodding, and pulled your book from your bag. There was another long silence. "Do you want some Tylenol?"
He turned to you again, looking confused. Surprised, even. "What?"
You played with the hem of your pants, pointing at the door to the drama room. "I just...I keep Tylenol in my locker for cramps. I thought maybe...if you were hurting or something-"
Something in him bristled, "Can you just leave me alone?"
You froze, looking hurt. Eddie's chest ached, now along with his head, guilt bubbling in him. He swallowed thickly, "Look, I-"
"Just, forget it." You snapped.
He opened his mouth to say something. To apologize. But the door to the drama room swung open.
"Eddie!" You both jumped as Lucas ran in, trailed by the other boys. "I won! I made the winning shot!"
His expression immediately brightened, "Holy shit, Sinclair! Are you serious!?"
The room erupted, each club member bouncing off the walls with excitement as they tried to recount the glorious details of the game all at once. You sat at the table, smiling weakly. As proud as you were of Lucas, you didn't feel like celebrating.
You took a deep breath as The Sheep finally settled at the table, pulling their game pieces from their backpacks and finding pencils.
Eddie cleared his throat, ignoring the pain in his skull as he read. "Sir Nog..."
Dustin looked up, his eyes going wide.
"When we left you last week, you were headed for the desert, fleeing an army of Drows. You casted 'Find Greater Steed' and summoned a Griffin to carry you far from the enemy. When your 'steed' grew tired, you stopped for the night a top a large hill and took a long rest to regain your strength."
Dustin nodded, recounting his last turn from the week before.
"But now, Sir Nog..." Eddie's tired face cracked with mischief. "You've awoken. It's been twenty four hours, and the army of Drows has caught up to you."
Dustin groaned, covering his eyes. The other boys shouted advice.
Eddie laughed softly at their enthusiasm, ignoring the throbbing of his head, and  continued. "You can hear them around you, yelling to one another, but they can't see you yet. You were smart enough to hide yourself and your steed in a desert cave for the night."
Dustin sighed in relief.
"You aren't out of the woods yet though, Henderson. You don't have much of a stealth bonus...Would you like to attack or stay hidden?"
Dustin thought, his brow furrowed in concentration. "Stay hidden."
Eddie smiled, "Alright. Roll the twenty for me."
Dustin steadied himself, cracking his knuckles as he plucked the die from his collection. He shook it, blowing on it for good luck, and let it tumble across the table. The room held its breath as it came to a stop. 13.
The boys looked to Eddie, expectantly, crossing their fingers. Eddie raised his brows. "It's not enough. They see you."
Dustin hit his fist on the table as the group groaned. "Shit."
You swallowed thickly, "That's not right."
A silence. Eddie clenched his jaw. "What?"
"I said, you're wrong. That is enough."
He shook his head, trying to keep his cool. "It's not. His stealth is too low. There's not enough of a bonus."
You stood your ground, "Drows are at a disadvantage in the sunlight. When subterranean species are on land, they lose Optical Aucity unless they have shaded goggles. I don't remember you mentioning any goggles."
Eddie groaned, "Are you fucking serious?"
"I'm trying to help the kid, Munson. What, do you want him to lose? It's in the damn book. You should have read it."
"I did read it! I've read it a million times. Why do you rake me over the coals over every-"
"Because you're an asshole! You treat me like I'm stupid!"
Eddie snapped, "Then why the hell do you come? Why do you come every goddamn week if you hate it so much, huh? Just stop! Stop coming! Because you're ruining it for all of us!"
You could've heard a pin drop in the drama room.
It hurt. It really hurt. You would have preferred it if he'd punched you in the stomach. You weren't sure why it hurt so much.
That was lie. You did know why. It was because deep down, you liked Eddie. You'd grown to like him a lot.
You liked it when he teased you and you teased him, both of you knowing it didn't mean anything. You liked it when he'd congratulate you for beating his campaigns, even though it drove him crazy to do it. You liked that you lived in the same trailer park, and he'd drive you home from Hellfire if you asked. He'd always put on your favorite Iron Maiden tape, too, just because he knew you liked it. You liked Eddie. For as much as you shouted the opposite from the rooftops, you really really liked him. He knew you did. And you'd thought he liked you too.
There was immediate regret in his eyes the moment he said it. He felt sick when he saw the look on your face, but the damage was done. You couldn't even look at the other boys. Your throat tightened, and you fought the tears welling in your eyes.
"Fuck you, Eddie Munson."
You grabbed your book from the table and marched out the door. He started towards you, but his head spun a little when he stood up too fast. You ignored him when he called after you, slamming the front doors of the building and making your way to the parking lot.
Eddie cursed under his breath, trying to steady his dizzy, aching head. "Shit...shit. Goddamn it." He tugged at his own curls, angry with himself. His eyes and nose were red when he finally turned to the club. His voice was hoarse, "You guys go on home, ok? I'll find her. I'm gonna talk to her. Just...we'll pick up next week."
***********
Eddie stood awkwardly at your front door for a little bit before he finally mustered the courage to knock. He didn't hear anything, and he'd begun to think you hadn't made it home yet when you opened the door.
You slammed it shut in his face the moment you saw who it was, locking it.
Eddie sighed, guilt swimming in his belly. There'd been two obvious mascara tracks running down your cheeks. "Oh, Come on, Y/N. I just want to talk."
Your voice was hoarse when you yelled back, "I don't have anything to say to you."
"Well, I have something to say to you!"
"Well I don't fucking care!"
"Y/N!...Damn it!" He groaned, thumping his fist on the door in annoyance. "Goddamnit, Y/N, why do you act like this? You drive me fucking crazy! You know that?"
"Good!" You yelled, biting back a sob. You leaned your back against the door, sinking down to sit with your knees pulled to your chest.
"Christ, You're go damn headstrong, Y/N! You won't ever let shit go! You never stop when you should. You just push and push. You're so fucking irritating."
Anger burned in your chest as you listened. What, you ran off crying and he sought you out to berate you some more?
You could hear him panting. He rested his forehead against the door. "I don't get you. I don't. Because you do all this...you talk so much shit and act like you rule the fucking world and the boys eat it up every time. They absolutely love it and I do too."
You caught on his words, your brow furrowing with confusion.
"I do too, Y/N."
You went silent, trying to make sense of whatever the hell was happening. Again, he spoke. His words were soft this time. Croaky and tired. Like he'd given into it.
"I...I do too. I really do." He swallowed. "That's what drives me batshit crazy. I can't get enough of you. I can't get you out of my stupid head."
He could feel your presence, almost. Sitting on the other side of that door. He wanted to step through it and hold you. Tell you he was sorry.
His voice broke, "I've wanted you from the moment I saw you in that stupid fucking Judas Priest shirt. I wanted you so bad. And it scared me. It scared the shit out of me. It still does. Because I still want you."
He turned his back to the door and leaned against it, sliding down to sit, as well.
"I guess in the beginning I felt like it was easier to reject you before you could reject me and that is such an asshole move. I know it is and I'm sorry. I'm just terrified of you, Y/N." He gave a humorless laugh, burying his face in his hands.  "You're perfect. You're literally perfect. You know that right?
Eddie had almost forgot you were listening. There was a long silence. He'd been about to stand up and walk away. To leave you alone like you probably wanted him to. But he heard you turn the deadbolt.
He stood as you opened the door, feeling like his heart was going to fall out of his chest. There you were, eyes red and glossy. You looked so small there. What remained of your mascara was running down your flushed cheeks, staining the collar of your pajama shirt. You were pitiful, and god his whole body ached in knowing he'd made you cry. He wanted to gather you up in his arms.
You stared up at him. "Get inside, Eds. It's cold."
*********
He was taller than you remembered. You noticed this now as he stood in the middle of your bedroom. Eddie stared at you awkwardly, looking around your room as you paced. You were still unsure of what exactly you were going to do with him.
He watched you as you rubbed the bridge of your nose, your cheeks flushed with anger. You muttered something to yourself.
Eddie finally cut in, "Just yell at me."
You froze, turning to him. "What?"
"Just yell at me." He crossed his arms casually, brows raised. "I deserve it! Get it all out!"
You bit your lip.
He could tell you were tempted. "I'll start if you want." You crooked your brow. Eddie shrugged, walking over to the mirror on your wall. He stared at his reflection, and you flinched a little when he yelled, poking his finger against the mirror accusatorily, "Who the hell do you think you are?"
Your eyes went big as you watched him. He yelled again.
"You're a piece of shit! That's what you are! And you should've just accepted the Tylenol! Why'd you have to be an asshole about it, huh?"
He turned to you, his grin spreading at the sight of a tiny smile on your face. "Your turn."
You pursed your lips, wracking your brain. Finally, you threw something at him, still sounding unsure. "You...You're a son of a bitch, Eddie Munson!"
He jumped excitedly, beaming, "Hell yeah I am! C'mon!"
You hesitated, "You're arrogant! And you...You act like you know everything!"
"That's right! Let me have it!"
You laughed, furrowing your brow and giving him a shove as you jumped up onto your bed. You were taller than him, now. "You...I...How dare you?!"
"How dare I?!" He threw up his hands, exasperatedly.
"You're obnoxious! And entitled! How dare you embarrass me in front them like that! And then you show up here with your pretty brown eyes and tell me you love me? What is wrong with you?"
He was beaming now as he took your hands. "Sweetheart..." His voice went softer. Fond. "I've been asking myself the same question for years."
You dropped to your knees on the mattress, making yourself the perfect height to pull him into a hug. He went stiff, surprised. Oh. Oh. You were hugging him.
His fingertips laced in your hair as he held you right back. Tightly. He exhaled, letting himself relax into you as he gave an amazed laugh.
You pulled back, searching out those big brown eyes. "What is it?"
His face was split with a blinding smile, "I've just...I've never gotten to hug you, before."
God he was beautiful. He looked at you with the most starry eyes, the tip of his nose bumping yours. You brought a hand up to cradle his face, grazing your thumb over one of his dimples. His expression faded, and you were almost sure you saw him glance down at your lips for a moment.
"Eds..." You swallowed thickly, letting yourself admire his pretty mouth just as he had yours. "You are so fucking irritating."
He laughed loudly, but the sweet sound was muffled as you pulled him into a kiss. It was chaste, as was grinning against you, but the moment you knit your fingers through his curls he groaned softly, pulling your body close against his. His kisses were desperate and messy. God, he'd been wanting this for months. Wanting you for months.
Ever since he'd laid eyes on that stupid fucking Judas Priest shirt.
***********
Tensions were high the next week at Hellfire.
You were late, and the boys were sure things had gone to shit. Worst case scenarios crowded their heads all week. What if you and Eddie had gotten into a literal fist fight? What if you were plotting wicked, vile revenge as they spoke? And worst of all...What if you quit Hellfire?
Eddie had been non-descript with Dustin all week, answering his two hundred questions with useless things like, "It went fine."
You were no better, only offering eye rolls and "Stop worrying about it, Henderson."
The boys toyed with their figurines and pencils as they waited nervously. Club had started six minutes ago and still, you were no where to be seen. The room was quiet, the only sound being the nervous whispers between Freshmen. Finally, the drama room door opened, and you strolled in. The room sighed a silent sigh of relief.
You tossed your backpack to the side, pulling a chair out from the table next to Eddie, "Sorry I'm late."
" 's ok." He smiled at you, fondly.
This in itself was an anomaly. Eddie? Neglecting a chance to tease you about something?
Any thoughts of this being odd were quickly forgotten, though, when you pecked his lips quickly and mussed his hair, taking your seat at the table. You quietly searched out your character sheet from your bag, as if you hadn't just done something so out of character that it was making five teenage boys question their sanity.
They were frozen, jaws dropped, as if Luke Skywalker himself had just walked through the drama room door.
Eddie cleared his throat, "Sir Nog! It's come to my attention that due to the ocular disadvantage working against the army of Drows, they are, in fact, unable to see you in the desert cave."

Stay The Night?
Pairing: Eddie Munson x (female) Reader
Summary: After a long evening of fighting with your parents, you're late for school and missing from some classes. Your best friend Eddie notices you're not about and takes care of you once he finds you, offering you a place to stay to clear your head.
Warnings: No warnings, this is purely fluff/pure content. Unless you count a couple of curse words as needing a warning? Idk, I haven’t written fanfics in like 8 years so I’m a little rusty…
Note/Request: Requested by anonymous “Could you write a fanfic where you're just friends with eddie but he let's you stay at his trailer when you have nowhere to stay after a bad argument with your parents, you share a bed, and wake up in the night cuddling, eddie has a boner and hes like apologizing, and then whatever happens, please, you're just such a good writer”
Bonus: I feel like this could do with a part 2? It was just getting good when I wanted to start writing smut but saw how long it was and thought y'all wouldn't read it. I didn't want this to be like 6k words right off the bat... If you horny mother f-ers want a part 2 where smut ensues, please let me know? <3
Word Count: 2.6k
Send me prompts to write about!
You were a straight A student, destined for the college of your dreams, on multiple after school curriculum clubs and always on time… So when you didn’t show up for your first class of the day, your friends grew worried about you. It’s not like you to ghost, and certainly not like you to not show up, your friends spent the first hour or so in the morning between classes passing notes and asking around to find if anyone had seen you.
To your defence, you had had the evening from hell, and quite the eventful morning to follow it. It had all started due to your ‘little freak friend,’ as your parents to lovingly phrased it, spending ‘too much time’ around you. Your fashion sense had slowly shifted to something a little more edgy, your music taste was more diverse thanks to Eddie, and you started going out more on weekends. It was all harmless, and nothing was affecting your behaviour or work ethic, so you didn’t see the problem. Your parents didn’t see it that way, though. They treated him like he was the devil, corrupting their precious babygirl in ways unspoken, it was all bullshit. He had made you feel loved, cared for, supported. Him and his little gang of monsters (Hellfire Club) had given you a purpose and a sense of belonging outside the four walls of your home in Hawkins.
You’re not sure what straw broke the camel’s back, but something triggered your parents to unleash World War 3 the second you got home last night, in included a lot of screaming, arguing, name calling… A slap or two from your mother which you fought the urge to retaliate. You weren’t like them; you’d never sink that low. Hours upon hours of fighting and arguing, accusations being thrown around like verbal knives, until you cried yourself to sleep in the early hours of the morning.
Waking up was a real struggle this morning, having to face your puffy eyed self in the mirror as you brushed your hair and teeth, doing your best to keep down the sickness you felt inside from both the stress and the exhaustion. You were running late for school, having missed the bus earlier, which brought on a whole new wave of anger from your parents. Despite the fact your parents both have full time jobs and fancy cars, and they both work in the direction of your school, they refused to give you a ride. Meaning you had to walk from the upper side of Hawkins, all the way down to the front gates of your school, making you even later than intended. It was just before lunch when you got into Hawkins High, skin a little dewy from the sweat, only making your face look worse whilst adding to the already existing puffy eyes and sad smile.
You wandered up to the front desk to explain where you had been and why your parents hadn’t told the school about your whereabouts. Lucky for you, you were let off with just a warning, the only mercy you had been granted in about twenty-four hours. Thanking the school receptionist, you make a quick stop to your locker to drop off your things before moping down to the cafeteria, getting lost in the crowd who all piled in for their food. You had forgotten your lunch, sigh. What else could go wrong today? Folding your arms and making your way over to the Hellfire Club table, waiting somewhat patiently for the gang to roll in, keeping your head down as to not draw too much attention to yourself.
“Well, well, well… Look who decided to show up! Little Miss Perfect has finally blessed us with her presence. What happened to you, sweetheart? Too busy out car shopping with Daddy Dearest to attend algebra, hm?” Eddie joked, patting you on the back whilst letting out a soft laugh. Normally a line like that would have earned him an eye roll and jab in the chest, but today it was met with silence.
“Hey… Are you okay?” He asks quietly whilst the other dudes start to sit in their allocated seats around you, he could feel the tension from you and that worried him. Allowing yourself to slowly look up in his direction, your sad eyes meeting his own concerned ones, all it took was one look from him to crack you. You could feel the tears welling up in your eyes and one dripping down your cheek as you sniffle, alarming Eddie as he wasn’t used to seeing you like this.
“Nope, not here you don’t. C’mon, let’s go.” Eddie mumbled comfortingly to you, not wanting anyone to see you cry as you both knew someone would use that against you. He wouldn’t let that happen. Taking your hand and guiding you up from your seat, both of you stood as he tangled his fingers in your own for support. Eddie quickly mumbled something into Dustin’s ear before patting him on the shoulder and easing you out of the lunchroom towards the empty halls, taking a quick look around before he tugged you into the girls’ bathroom.
By this point your tears were already freely falling, Eddie doing his best to listen and comfort you as you recalled the events of the last couple of days. He was hurt and pissed off. Not because your parents were so rude about him, but because they disrespected you. His only focus was the fact you were hurting, and he needed to do something about it, he was incredibly protective of those in his group, and that wasn’t going to slide with him.
“Shit, Y/L/N… Hey, okay, how about this? You can come and stay with me tonight, yeah? Your parents already are pissed at you, there’s no point going back there when they’re acting like this, let them cool off and give yourself a break, yeah? I’ll take the couch; you can have my bed… My Uncle won’t even be back until morning anyway, so it won’t be weird, even though he loves you.”
All you did was nod in response, grateful to have such a wonderful person in your life, further solidifying the fact that your parents were the problem. How could they hate someone so wonderful? Someone who always has your best interest at heart and wants to keep you happy. It took a couple minutes of him giving handing you tissues to help dry your tears, telling you to splash cold water on your face as it brings down the redness and puffiness, even him jumping and softly yelling at the girls screaming when they entered the bathroom to see the tall, tatted man in the girl’s room before you were ready to face the day.
“Okay, Princess. Let’s do this!” Eddie announced with a bright smile, taking your hand once again and leading you out of the bathroom. This time? You were thankfully full of giggles rather than tears.
-----
“Home Sweet Home” Eddie sighed, pulling open the door to his trailer and gesturing for you to enter ahead of him, “M’Lady” he chuckles whilst you wander in ahead, closely following behind you to shut the door on you both.
Glancing around the place, you notice there’s a few cigarette stumps in the ashtray and a slightly overflowing bin in the corner, but not as many shirts in the laundry pile as you’d usually expect. You’ve been here many times before, and this was somehow the cleanest you had seen it.
“Didn’t realise the Queen was coming to town, Ed…” you mocked him fondly, to which he immediately pulled out his smug smile and raised his brows in your direction, clearly amused.
“Well, someone’s feeling better, hm?” he visibly relaxed when he realised you were more at ease whilst alone with him. Knowing that it would only be a matter of time before you’re both wrestling and mocking each other once again, he brought you in for a warm embrace. It took you a little by surprise. Not that Eddie wasn’t affectionate or anything, he was, it just was usually you or someone from your squad initiating it first. You didn’t care about that right now though, allowing yourself to slump against him as his hug took the weight of the world off your shoulders, at least for a moment. Pressing a tender kiss to the top of your head before he pulled away from you, holding your cheeks in his hands whilst he scanned your face for a reaction. The smile on your face making him beam with joy, you were soon returning to your old self.
“There’s that pretty smile…” he mumbled, kissing your forehead before stepping away and wandering over to the cupboards in search of food. “Look, I know you didn’t eat lunch, but I didn’t really think in advance so like, I can offer you cereal or… cereal…” he shoots an apologetic smile.
“Cereal works!” you announce, wandering over to his small dinner table. Watching as he poured you both a bowl of cereal each, running out of milk after filling his bowl to which he rolled his eyes, cursed ‘son of a bitch’ under his breath before swapping bowls with you to ensure you got at least the most viable thing to a “proper meal” he could offer you.
You used the spoon to slowly eat your bowl, Eddie opting to use his hands and just shove a handful into his mouth at a time. What did he care? Its not like he had to worry about spilling his milk. Small talk ensued whilst you sat and ate together, him throwing the bowls into the sink for another day once you’d finished. Both of you residing to the couch for the rest of the evening, Eddie would smoke a couple cigarettes, even a joint or two, and you would happily sit at the doorstep whenever he went outside to smoke as he insisted on not giving you a second-hand high or headache from the fumes.
It's only when you begun to yawn that he looked at the time on his watch and announced it was time for bed, you sleepily nodded in agreement as the two of you wander towards his small bedroom. He cleaned up the best he could, going through his piles of laundry and sniffing each and every item until he found a shirt clean enough for you to wear to bed. Placing them on top of the sheets for you whilst he disappeared out of the room to give you privacy, happily slipping back into the room once you declare you were decent.
Dressed in his Metallica shirt and your underwear, you climbed into bed under the covers whilst he leant against the doorway with his arms folded, watching you as you slipped into the warmth of the sheets. Somewhere in this process he had changed into just his boxers, clothes you can only assume were cast around the living room like the rest of his things. Smiling down at you, he then gestures to the hallway and starts to back out of the room, shutting off the light in the process.
“I’ll be on the couch if you need me, okay?” he said softly, causing you to sit up a little and frown in his direction.
“Can you… Can you stay, please?” you whisper. You were a big girl, you weren’t scared of the dark or anything like that, you just found Eddie to be so comforting and after the day you had? You didn’t want to be alone.
“You sure?” he asks, your nodding response was all it took for him to shut the door and then slip into the bed beside you. Laying on his back and draping his arm around your shoulders, brushing his ring clad fingers up and down your shoulder comfortingly as you curled up against his chest. Eyes closing almost immediately as he hummed under his breath, lulling you to sleep in what felt like seconds.
“Goodnight, Sleepyhead” he whispered, pressing a kiss to the top of your head before eventually passing out not long after.
----
The flush of the bathroom toilet startled him awake, not knowing where he was, who was around and why appliances were flushing when no one was supposed to be home. It’s only when your exhausted little face peeked back into the room that he settled down and everything clicked into place.
“Jesus H Christ, you scared me.” He breathed.
“Me? Scare you? C’mon now…” you laugh, finding it hard to believe that someone as tough and brave as Eddie would be startled by a small girl just going to the bathroom.
Climbing back into his bed, you took mere seconds before cuddling up against him once more. Arm wrapped around his middle whilst he wrapped his arms around your shoulders with a tight squeeze. Face to face this time, in the centre of the bed whilst your bodies became like one in the middle.
“Eddie?” you mumble against his chest.
“Yeah, babe?” he mumbled back; face tucked into your hair.
“Please tell me that isn’t your dick pressed up against my thigh…” you whine.
“I… didn’t know you could feel that, shit. Sorry. In my defence, it happens on its own, I… yeah, sorry!” he pulled back from you, grabbing more of the covers to make a layer across his hard dick, not wanting to make this situation any worse for you both.
“Oh really? And here I was thinking I was so irresistible that you just couldn’t help yourself around me, even in your sleep.” You teased, shoving him playfully in the side, glancing over to see his cheeks bright red in embarrassment.
“I mean… you are kinda hot in my shirt, but—” he stopped himself finishing that sentence, you let out a pool of laughter whilst grabbing the pillow and smacking him fondly in the chest.
“Oh, shut up! Bullshit” you declare, grinning to yourself as you continue to lightly whack him with the fluffy weapon.
“It’s not bullshit! You’re hot in my clothes, Jesus Christ. Can we change the subject now?!” he’s flustered you can tell, his words were honest but his execution was like that of a nervous child.
You finally decide to stop hitting him with the pillow, brow raised in question and head tilted slightly to the side as you search his expression for any hint of a lie, voice soft. “Wait, really?”
Watching as he shrugs his shoulders in defeat and nods his head. “Yeah, really… Sorry if that makes things weird. I can like, I can go back to the couch?” he offers in a mild panic, already in the process of moving to leave the room.
Grabbing his bicep to stop him, he looks down at you with a confused look on his face. Shaking your head from side to side, your voice soft and shy as you ask for him to stay. Once he made sure that was really what you wanted, he sunk back into the sheets with the covers still hiding him from the waist down.
“So… The shirt, hm?” you snort playfully, amused that something as simple as you wearing his clothes would get him going, to which he’s blushing and shrugging his shoulders in response.
“I hate you.” He jokes, grabbing the same pillow from before and this time using it to smack you in the chest, both of you falling into pits of laughter as the tension is quickly dissipated.

WARNINGS: IMPLIED SMUT, MENTIONS OF SEX ACTS
Tumblr media
You were sick of the dreams, sick of waking up feeling like you were some kind of rabid dog. It had been years since that mother fucker left your house for good, slamming the door hard, rattling the hinges. Another fight, another failed relationship added to your belt.
Sure you had moved on, dating that cute baker who would come crawling into your sheets at night wafting notes of fresh bread and sweet icing into your bedroom. He was sweet as sugar but the sex was mediocre at best. So you did what you did best, you left him. Finding another cute guy to fill the void and your heart was aching for distraction. The accountant. Ooh yes he was good with numbers and financially stable. But the pressed suits and slicked back hair every day was making the vanilla love making just that— vanilla. Bland, flavorless, like a water flavored lollipop. The twins? Yesss finally. Something you could divulge in…two men to treat you like a queen. Two men all to yourself, sharing a bed, never fighting over you just worshiping you, and maybe it could have been great, could have been something any girl desired…if they weren’t two inch twins. Can’t exactly get off when you can barely feel anything.
So when you had gotten the invite for Hawkins High’s Class of ‘86, 10 year reunion, you thought what the hell? Last you had known he had left Hawkins that night of your fight never to be heard from again, so the likelihood of him showing up was slim to none. And Steve Harrington who was fresh from a divorce was going to be in attendance. The way his jeans always hugged him so tight in the front he was bound to house some kind of mythical anaconda behind the denim. But the dreams had started that night, and they weren’t of Steve’s hammer cock. Someone who hadn’t crossed your mind in almost 5 years.
Walking into Hawkins High with Robin and Vicky on your side they hadn’t stopped talking about how excited Steve was to see you. And you were excited to finally unleash the beast.
And just as most things went, Lady Luck was playing games. Up on the stage sporting a leather jacket and the same black bandana he had since middle school, was Eddie ‘fuck me lips’ Munson. He looked better than he did in high school if that was even possible. His shoulders were broader, angling perfectly to his slutty little waist. Turns out Corroded Coffin had been asked to play at the reunion tonight. Your panties were dripping at the sight of him. You forgot how sexy his voice was. Forgot how wet his hair got during his shows. Fuck.
“Hey there stranger,” Steve seduces as he comes over with a wine cooler for you, Robin and Vicky. You and Steve had been close, Nancy was practically a sister to you, but everytime he fought with Nancy you were there to comfort him. And when Eddie left, Steve was there for you holding you close and assuring you everything was going to be okay. You threw your arms around Steve’s neck, relishing in the smell of his expensive cologne. He put his hands on the small of your waist as he pulled you close. “You look beautiful tonight” he whispered, dancing his tongue against the shell of your ear. You pulled back blushing slightly, tucking a stray hair behind your ear.
The two of you catch up. Steve telling you all about his and Nancy’s nasty divorce. You comfort him the same way you always had, fingers ruffling his hair and holding his hands in between yours. You could feel eyes burrowing into the back of your head, but ignored it. Probably just a jealous ex cheerleader wishing they were the apple of Steve’s eye for the night. Steve excuses himself to the bathroom but not before leaning down slightly and placing a wet kiss to your lips. He tasted like the wine cooler he had been drinking, and Carmex. “Be right back.”
Before you can even comprehend what has happened a familiar voice whispers in your ear, “well isn’t that rich sweetheart? King Steve and the Princess.” Your breath hitches in your throat and your stomach feels like it’s going to leap out of your body entirely.
You turn slightly in the folding chair you’re sitting in to see him. He’s holding a bottle of beer and smelling how he always did, Marlboros and musky cologne. His happy trail was slick with sweat begging to be licked. His chest was more defined, and was sporting more tattoos on it than you could count. Piercings in each nipple, which were new but something you had encouraged him to get since you had gotten yours done. His boyish features were more manly now. His neck was thick and had a vein protruding on the side. The only thing that didn’t change on him was the neck tattoo he had gotten. A red imprint of your lips with your first initial next to it.
“Didn’t think you’d be here.” You scoff trying to avoid his gaze.
“And miss this? Seeing all the people who hated me in high school?” Eddie tries to joke. He pulls up Steve’s chair and slides it closer to you. Swinging his leg over the cool metal and sitting on it backwards, “Sweetheart, we know there’s only one reason why I’m here.”
“I’m not doing this shit with you, Munson.”
“Oh we’ll be doing something, but it won’t be shitty.” Eddie winks as he traces circles with his fingers against your knee. “Tell me baby, how wet are those panties?”
Stammering, you quickly reply, “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“The collection I had of your wet panties in my dresser drawer tells me differently.” Eddie leans in again, “and don’t forget how excited you would get during one of my shows.” Christ this fucker doesn’t forget anything, it was true. After every show you would be dripping with arousal for him, the way his fingers moved, the way his neck looked when he sang, and his voice… fuck.
“You better go, my date will be back soon, you know Steve Harrington, right?.” You say matter of factly. He wasn’t actually but Eddie didn’t know that. Anything to get under his skin was good enough for you, and if there was one thing you knew about Eddie it was his ferocious hatred for Steve Harrington.
“Oh baby, don't think I didn’t notice his hands all over you tonight. Doing it just to fuck with me, I know your mind games. You forget that you were mine for a long time.” Eddie says, pointing to your lips tatted on his neck. “Still are.”
Eddie had gotten that done for your birthday, “the only marks I want on my neck, are your lips.”
“I was. Past tense. Not anymore.” You fidget in your seat as Eddie presses into you. Your panties were wet, and your pussy was throbbing. You forgot how possessive he could be and it was turning you on. “Besides, that was years ago, haven't you moved on or was my pussy that good.”
The mention of your cunt has Eddie adjusting himself in his tight jeans. “Full of jokes tonight I see, don’t forget I’m the only one in this room who can read you like a book, inside and out. The way your toes curl when you’re about to cum, the fact that you like a finger in your tight little asshole while getting it raw in doggy, or, my personal favorite, the way your face looks when my hand is around your neck.”
Your cheeks are flushed red as you suddenly get up. Walking quickly across the gym floor as you head outside to light a cigarette, kicking balloons and streamers out of the way as you stomp across the floor. You were embarrassed. Embarrassed about the literal choke hold Eddie still had on you. You never wanted anyone but him, and seeing that he hasn’t covered up your lip tattoo confirmed that he hasn’t moved on either. Leaning against the cool brick you inhale deeply, exhaling a stream of smoke upwards as your head is leaned back, eyes catching Eddie’s as he comes through the door.
“Fuck, can’t you just leave me alone, I’m not playing your little feral fucking games tonight, or ever again for that matter.” You lie.
Eddie moved in front of you boxing you in. His arms stretching to either side of your head, hands on the wall. “No games sweetheart, just me and you. It’s only ever, been you.” He leans close and ghosts his lips over yours, “I can’t get you out of my head.” Eddie leans forward, pressing his body against yours, “I know you want this,” he murmurs, taking your hand in his and holding it against his erection. “Let me spend the rest of tonight making up for what we lost.”
“Eddie, I-,” his fingers are twirling in the ends of your hair, his lips are teasing you, softly kissing your neck, biting slowly.
“Say it baby,” Eddie whispers into your ear, “say you’re still mine.”

hello i wanted to say this earlier when you were talking about the wiritng of duffer brothers and specifically how they will likely be bringing back the love triangle again and i just wanted to add how it feels like a step back for all three of them! i felt like nancy breaking up with steve was important for both of them, for steve to realise that he needs to do some serious introspection and let go of the life that he knows is fake, and for nancy it feels doubly important to not attempt to stick with something just because it was there in the past, and instead allow herself to move on from a stage she feels complete with and move onto what she really wants (johnathan), even if it's unconventional! and then for johnathan it felt like the more classic, someone is choosing me when i am not usually chosen moment. i honestly, truly, wouldn't even be that mad if they break jancy up, just because, y'know they're like 19-20, and it's okay for nancy to decide she wants to explore things outside of hawkins and it's pretty normal for most people, and would strengthen that "moving on" theme they were able to capture in s2, but if she goes back to steve.............hmmmm. feels unfair thematically for steve to go back to a person he dated during a specific period of his life he wants to get away from, feels unsatisfying for nancy wheeler to be delegated to Love Interest TM (as u mentioned) AGAIN, and feels bad for johnathan because omg why??!!?!? would u do that to a character whose already lost a lot of the importance and relevance that he used to have???? remember when he used to be the main character (not to mention they literally cut out his new friend argyle for the hell of it). idk i feel like after s2 they just stopped caring about a lot of these core characters and there are so many moments i could point to and be like hey guys nice regressing you did there.
my apologies, this is getting really wrong, but you mentioned that you like themes and i LOVE your themes it's very cathartic. i am excited for s3 to see character themes continue because i understand ur working with the show itself here but it immediately upset me when they made, like, russian soldiers, the main villain of the season. i felt like we had developed two very good seasons exploring the US's ability to use its citizen's bodies, especially women and girls' bodies, in its war for imperial power, and were doing some good digging at the crux of the cold war, with the upside down and its monsters making up great metaphors for the war crimes and unnatural horrors it's willing to unleash onto people as long as the government and military benefits, with brenner and the scientists and the labs all representing this part of the government. and then we get "russian communists are bad".......right......and i'm sure you believe that....... i understand that they needed like a new villain, but i think it would have been better for them to continue that thematic critique they had established already. like, the base being in the lab is perfect! wow! what an immediate link to capitalism and consumerism in reaganamics and the ways it is designed to hypnotise you to spend your money and feed the economy that thrives on unethical practices and can only exist if it has a population hooked into the addiction of product consumption that in turn provides the economics to increase the empire. DO SOMETHING WITH THAT, GODDAMIT. The mindflayer even mind controls people which fits so well into this theme but they insisted on having the russians be the human villains of the show and it blew it so bad for me :(. i don't know exactly what they should have done, but i think maybe even having a portal open to the upside down because of all the artificial-ness of the mall mixed with the constant ads trying to convince (ie control) people to bye stuff mixing with hawkins freakiness would have been more fulfilling for me. obviously i know you won't be doing anything like that but i'm excited to get some relief through character relationships from this huge problem i have with the duffer brothers.
yeaaaaah u can def tell the show was going a bit haywire once season 3 released BUT the seasons vibes were immaculate u cannot argue with that. however yeah its wack how they brought up some cool villains and powers and then just. dropped it. do we know what happened to all those flayed people ???
as for jonathans character just becoming less and less important as the seasons go on ,,,, i grieve that every day. he deserves so much better in that aspect. and nancy !!! and steve !!!! like the love triangle pisses me OFF !!!!
as for ur russian rant imma be real i followed a bit of it but my brain is so sleepy and im not a history buff but ur SO real and valid for all that. i think the russians were fun but apparently everyone hates them ??? wild. i also have poor media literacy but thats not important rn

Ok, here’s my thing.
I don’t think Eddie and Billy would’ve been friends as is.
Similar music taste isn’t enough to bridge that gap.
But I /do/ think if Billy survived season 3 and got his chance to heal and improve himself, they could’ve gotten there eventually.
Billy spends months in the hospital, doped up on pain killers.
Max is there, or course. She brings her walkman and Billy’s tapes so he can have something to ease the mind numbing boredom.
They work hard to form some sort of sibling bond.
It’s not easy, but they do it.
It’s hard to avoid after going through something Upside Down related.
By the time he’s well enough to go home, Neil is already out of the picture.
They move to Forest Hills, into the trailer right across from the Munson’s.
Billy refuses Max’s offer of the second bedroom.
He takes the couch, carves out a space for himself in the cramped living room.
His attitude is still shitty, he’s still rude and angry and hard to talk to, but he isn’t mean for the sake of mean-ness.
His chronic pain dulls the need to swing a punch. It hurts too much to try.
El takes to calling a good deal. She, Max, and Billy have conversations over Cerebro every week that seem to do something for him.
He doesn’t smile; not really.
But he’s noticeably less miserable after their talks.
Billy gets a job to help Susan with the bills.
He hides her booze and he gives her someone to be angry at over Neil, and eventually, after a lot of screaming and crying and really really rough nights, they find some common ground.
It’s a far cry from a mother and son relationship, but it’s something they both needed.
Fall of ‘85 rolls around, and Max is starting her Freshman year, Billy his Senior.
Billy doesn’t verbally offer to drive, just nods towards the car and climbs into the drivers side.
They’ve settled into an odd sort of push and pull.
Max starts a conversation tentatively, Billy answers, usually with grunts or non verbal cues.
The first time he answers back with more than one syllable, they’re on their way to pick up his pain meds.
Billy turns the volume on the radio up a notch, not blaring, just loud enough to appreciate the guitar solo.
“Is this Metallica?” Max prompts with a careful sideways glance.
Billy’s lips tilt upwards with a barely noticeable smile as he utters a soft:
“It’s the Scorpions, Shitbird.”
Max can’t help the smile that stretches across her face, because there he is.
He’s still Billy.
From that day on, there’s a noticeable shift in their dynamic.
Suddenly, they’re siblings. Real ones.
They aren’t soft and supportive like Will and Jonathan, or reluctantly close and annoying like Mike and Nancy.
They argue, they bitch, they hurl insults, they mock each other, But if anyone raises even a harsh word to the other, they’re right there to unleash hell upon the unlucky shmuck.
And that doesn’t just extend to Max; the entire party, weirdly, ends up under Billy’s prickly protection as well.
Entering into the school year, it only takes one run in with the ex Alpha of Hawkins High for the jocks and would be bullies to get the message:
“These nerds are OFF LIMITS.”
From an outsiders perspective, the groups strangeness is undeniable, strangeness that attracts one Eddie Munson, collector of oddities.
Eddie, clocking the Weird Al tee, the nerdy speech, and general dorky vibe of the entire party, immediately swoops in and takes them under his wing.
Mind, he was never friends with Billy. He’d hardly spoken to him past the typical:
“You got the stuff?”
“You got the cash?”
But Billy had never given him too much trouble.
He’d known better than to antagonize Hawkins High’s one and only dealer.
But Eddie could tell he’d changed since the Mall fire of ‘85. He was quieter, broodier, and all around… less.
He didn’t strut the halls like he used to; like a caged lion, hungry for a meal.
He kept mostly to himself.
Took notes and worked quietly in class, ate lunch in his car with Max and, very occasionally and confusingly, Robin Buckley and Nancy Wheeler.
Eddie had even spotted him talking with Steve Harrington, once.
Talking, not peacocking, posturing, or punching as he would’ve expected.
Eddie was nosy by nature. Call it a character flaw, but when he saw something that puzzled him, he needed to get his hands on it; to work it, piece it together, and figure it out.
Billy Hargrove was a 200 piece puzzle with no picture, and he was determined to put it together.
He starts small, bringing Billy up in passing during cleanup post-Hellfire, trying his best to sound casual, though given the look from Gareth he assumes it wasn’t quite there.
“So… Hargrove. What’s his deal?”
Ok.
Subtlety was not his forte.
Dustin, Mike, and Lucas share significant looks, looks tinged with uncertainty and secrecy and Eddie is itching for a piece of this puzzle.
“What do you mean?” Dustin asks robotically.
“What do I mean?” Eddie repeats with a scoff.
“You’ve got the California Keg King as a personal guard dog, and you ask me what do I mean.”
Another glance is shared between the three, this one a bit more… wary.
Interesting.
“My, uh, girlfriend is his sister,” Lucas shrugs as if this is somehow answer enough.
Not even close.
“No, I get that,” Eddie nods, because he knows Red is his stepsister. He’d overheard Billy bitching endlessly about her in the year prior.
Now they’re not only tolerant of each other but attached at the hip?
“Level with me,” Eddie requests, leaning against the arm of his throne.
“Is this to do with the fire?”
That question garners an interesting reaction; shifting eyes and nervous shuffling.
“It is, isn’t it?”
Eddie loved being right.
Mike, as usual, was the first to speak.
“We were there that night,” he says simply, and Eddie’s grin falls from his face.
He lowers himself into his seat and nods slowly for him to continue.
“One of our friends was injured, so Billy…”
He hesitates, brow pinched and nose wrinkled as if he’s reliving the memory.
“Billy saved her,” Lucas finishes for him, looking markedly uncomfortable at the topic.
“Got badly injured in the process.”
“So that’s why you’re all buddy buddy with him now?” Grant speaks up from the sidelines.
“We’re not buddy buddy,” Lucas scoffs, crossing his arms.
“We tolerate each other due to shared trauma., but we’re not friends.”
Jeff nods grimly at Lucas’s words with an understanding Eddie couldn’t quite grasp if he’d tried.
The conversation ended there as they walked to the lot.
A single puzzle piece in place with 199 to go.
‘Maybe two pieces,’ Eddie thinks as he watches the three of them approach a blue Camaro, Hargrove and Mayfield leaning against the hood.
His joy at piecing together more of the mystery dies as Steve Harrington’s BMW pulls up beside them, the boys climbing into it instead.
‘What the fuck?’

Barking Harker Cast Snapshot 8: Barking Harker
Tumblr media
To one thing I have made up my mind: if we find out that Mina must be a vampire in the end, then she shall not go into that unknown and terrible land alone. I suppose it is thus that in old times one vampire meant many; just as their hideous bodies could only rest in sacred earth, so the holiest love was the recruiting sergeant for their ghastly ranks.
[…]
Last night he was a frank, happy-looking man, with strong, youthful face, full of energy, and with dark brown hair. To-day he is a drawn, haggard old man, whose white hair matches well with the hollow burning eyes and grief-written lines of his face. His energy is still intact; in fact, he is like a living flame.
[…]
"I care for nothing now," he answered hotly, "except to wipe out this brute from the face of creation. I would sell my soul to do it!"
Harker evidently meant to try the matter, for he had ready his great Kukri knife and made a fierce and sudden cut at him. The blow was a powerful one; only the diabolical quickness of the Count's leap back saved him. A second less and the trenchant blade had shorn through his heart. As it was, the point just cut the cloth of his coat, making a wide gap whence a bundle of bank-notes and a stream of gold fell out. The expression of the Count's face was so hellish, that for a moment I feared for Harker, though I saw him throw the terrible knife aloft again for another stroke. […] Harker had lowered himself from the window to follow the Count.
We men were all in a fever of excitement, except Harker, who is calm; his hands are as cold as ice, and an hour ago I found him whetting the edge of the great Ghoorka knife which he now always carries with him. It will be a bad look-out for the Count if the edge of that ‘Kukri’ ever touches his throat, driven by that stern, ice-cold hand!
[…]
Harker smiled—actually smiled—the dark bitter smile of one who is without hope; but at the same time his action belied his words, for his hands instinctively sought the hilt of the great Kukri knife and rested there.
[…]
—instinctively they cowered aside and let him pass. In an instant he had jumped upon the cart, and, with a strength which seemed incredible, raised the great box, and flung it over the wheel to the ground. —Jonathan Harker, Jack Seward, Mina Harker, Dracula
He has never been a man quick to anger, let alone violence. He has ever been one more ready to sacrifice, to please, to befriend than to raise a fuss, no matter the wrong done to him. Indeed, he would never have passed through boyhood or his adolescence with any sort of peace if he had raised his hackles in defense. Experience has taught him how fine a line exists between the plush arms of friendship and pity versus the colder exile of revulsion. Among worse treatment.
Far better to be known for kindness. For approachable manner. For disarming smiles and charming mien and, as Hawkins and his fellows of the office had so often ribbed, the occasional bat of lashes, ha-ha, to smooth life along. No, there was no violence in him. None.
Not until the Count.
Not until Mina.
And for a time, violence was its own fueling fire, driving the pistons of him forward, forward, onward, onward. To vengeance. To rescue. To the end of the great horror which he had been so easily, damnably hooked into unleashing upon all he loved. Close, closer, closest, knife in hand..!
Until the escape of slaughter was pulled out from under him in a flurry of blood and snow. In the stillness after, violence is made as obsolete as obedience. Moreso. That is the trap of it, he’s shown. He was so ready for Hell, just to protect her; to join her.
What of a better offer, Faustus? A little deal between friends. Won’t you think on it awhile?
He does. He works. He waits.
As he time crawls, he finds himself plunged into morbid new changes with each passing night. Some bad. Some worse. Some harvested whole and shrieking from his deepest nightmares. But of them all, it is perhaps the smallest change that haunts him most.
Something inside him is smiling and wants him to smile along.
It laughs, bays, whispers. Wants.
(Do you have less sense than the dogs? The carrion birds? The moth and the maggot, the grass and the gravediggers? The dead travel fast only when allowed. You have the power to end it all. This castle is a graveyard and its tenants should not be free to feed on what lives. It is all out of order! Follow your instincts, Barking Harker. Smile. Open wide. And put the dead in their proper place—your teeth.)

Totally definitely 1000% accurate volume 2 leaks. I know these things happen because I live inside of Netflix's server room and have seen them with all 34 of my physical eyes and all 71 of my spiritual eyes:
This is in no particular order
- Vecna is defeated via Uno reverse card and it is revealed his greatest secret is his phobia of eggplants which is why Noah described the season with that emoji
- El calls Henry a little bitch and then puts on some sick aviators and then gets to slap Brenner because she deserves it
- Will actually is the one summoning the tender emotional music and he uses it as sonar so he can see all five dimensions of the upside down. Will's painting is unrelated to the upside down plot but Mike does get to see it and cried because of how much he loves it.
- Mike gets vecna'd and is put into gay baby jail which is just a little terrarium surrounded by the homophobic dog meme and with a chorus of menacing voices chanting "Mike Wheeler I know what you are"
- Lucas gets vecna'd and his vision is being the only person on the basketball team to not know the choreography to a flash mob they spontaneously decide to do. This is set to time warp from Rocky horror picture show
- The sheer power of Kate Bush allows Max to 1v1 a demogorgon..... it's cool as hell
- Dustin gives Eddie a pep talk so good it causes bardic inspiration to work in the real world and Eddie gets advantage on his next skill check
- Eddie proceeds to shred such a sick guitar solo that all of the demobats spontaneously combust
- Argyle turns into Michelangelo from the teenage mutant Ninja turtles
- Johnathan gets Mike and Will to confess their feelings for each other and the raw gay power that this unleashes opens a portal so the Russia gang can get back to Hawkins
- Steve manages to beat up vecna's stupid clock with his bat..... saving everybody else from being vecna'd
- Erica gets to dive the pizza van and does a Tokyo drift montage while highway to hell plays in the background
- Robin gives Nancy a piggyback ride while Nancy dual wields guns like Laura Croft and the sapphic vibes are so intimidating the Russians immediately surrender Hopper through the portal
- Nancy finds out Robin likes girls and her response is "bitch me too the fuck?"
- Hopper finally gets to ask Joyce out on another date and now he has a bitchin sword and his daughter back....life is good
- The mind flayer attempts to possess Joyce as a way to get to Will but her sheer pflag mom clout renders her immune
- Murray calls everyone oblivious and then leaves to go make some risotto
And for the cliffhanger: Karen says she's divorcing Ted and then we cut to black

Jesus christ please bless us with your kid!mungrove hcs 😩😩😩😩😩😩 i love these babies so much
Tumblr media
*High pitched yelling*
You’ve unleashed the beast😶
To be quite honest, I think the drawings center mostly around a three year old Billy and a five year old Eddie, which would make it a separate timeline from my foster care au (god I’m gonna illustrate some stuff for that too because😭💔) but anyway, I’m pretty sure for them to meet it would be Eddie probably going to California.
So far, I’ve thought it’d be interesting to have Eddie’s parents skip town without him, something that unfortunately happens a bit too often, and Wayne has to make a drive to Cali for work, but since he’s not about to leave Eddie to fend for himself, he decides to take him with. Eddie is a pretty energetic five year old, so the drive there is hell for him, and he’s also cranky because his parents promised they wouldn’t leave him behind next time they bailed. It’s also the middle of June, so it’s ridiculously hot, and when they finally arrive in cali, Wayne does his best to let Eddie get some time to burn off his stress by taking him to see the beach.
Eddie’s still sulking, but he’s a kid, so he’s over the moon about getting to see the beach, and he’s dumbstruck with just how big it is. He’d only ever seen stuff about it in picture books, so Eddie’s practically vibrating with anticipation and trying to wrestle out of Wayne’s grip while he tries to smear sunscreen on him so his nephew doesn’t cook in the California sun.
Once he’s looking like he’s been dipped in mayonnaise, Wayne finally lets him go and Eddie all but teleports to the shore. He’s about to run straight into the water before something tugs him from behind and has him falling flat onto the sand. He’s about to cry when he opens his eyes and stares up into these big blue orbs that are looking down at him with what looks to be stern disapproval. Eddie wants to be annoyed, but this kid looks like one of them little angels he sees when he passes by the church on Sundays. The ones with those tiny wings and pretty blonde hair.
He giggles and points a finger up into that stern face, “You look like an angel!” The other kid makes an even angrier face and bends down to smack a hand onto Eddie’s forehead. “No. Billy.” He says it in a very serious tone, like Eddie’s made some big mistake he’s gotta be told off for.
“Ow!” before he has a chance to complain, the child—the boy—is being lifted up into the air. Eddie almost thinks it’s magic before he sees the pretty lady in a white dress, her blonde hair matching his angelic little acquaintance.
“Oh my, Billy! We don’t hit people! I’m so sorry, you ok sweetie?” Billy is squirming in her arms, obviously very upset at being removed from his task of pestering Eddie. The lady is trying to help Eddie up but having a hard time due to Billy’s protests, so Eddie dusts himself off and stands up on his own—like a big kid.
“Um, I’m ok, um, I think, I think Billy should say sorry too.” Eddie purses his lips and stares up at the two with expectant eyes. Kids in Hawkins always make fun of him because of where he lives and the hand-me-down clothes he wears, even the grown ups make funny faces at him when he plays alone in the park with no shoes on. He’s made it a habit to have a big attitude and a bigger mouth. The adults are always telling him he’s rude, he just things they’re ruder for staring.
The lady blinks down at him before smiling—she has a really pretty smile, she looks like an angel too—and setting Billy down.
“You heard him Billy, think you can say ‘sorry’ for hitting him? Maybe the nice boy will play with you when you make up.” Eddie thinks Billy doesn’t like the idea at all, he has big tears threatening to fall down his cheeks and he’s looking at a spot just in front of his feet.
“Why’re you crying? You hit me!” Billy starts wailing in earnest at that, big hiccuping sobs as he walks up to Eddie and points at something behind him. Eddie turns around and looks down to see a big shard of brown glass sticking up from the sand a small ways away.
Oh
He turns back and scrunches up his nose.
“You should use words! Just say something! Sheesh, you’re awful pretty, but you don’ talk, huh?” Eddie doesn’t really think it was mean, he’s just being honest, but Billy just starts crying even louder at that as he turns betrayed eyes onto Eddie and runs back to his mom.
Wayne eventually comes down to see what the fuss is about, and the two grown ups get to talking while Billy glares dagger at Eddie from behind his mom’s legs. Eddie just squats down and stares back with fascination, he’d never seen such a pretty boy before. Even the girls in Hawkins don’t have long lashes and curly blonde hair like Billy.
Eddie really wants to be friends, even if this poor kid doesn’t know how to say much.
Billy, for what it’s worth, wants to throw sand in this weirdos face and tell him he’s stupid. He’s not really great with talking to people he doesn’t know though, so he settles for sticking out his tongue. The scrappy kid just giggles at him and sticks his own tongue out in return.
Billy thinks he hates this idiot.

part one ● part two ● part three ● part four
summary
it's the battle of hawkins. you and eddie finally reunite, but will it turn out the way it did the last time?
disclaimer
gif and photos used are not mine. all credits go to their respective owners!
warnings
mentions of loss, bl00d, and depression. if you are uncomfortable with any of the topics mentioned, please don’t proceed. let me know if I missed any warnings!
a/n thank you for all your support, it literally means the world! part 4, and the final part for this series will be posted real soon; I have the outline and everything lol.
just like in the past two parts, I used colors to differentiate dialogues! one part of this (towards the end) may seem very confusing but it happens when reader is in a "vecna trance". again, thank you for the support ♥
i still hear you some days. you don’t sound as clear like you’re underwater and i’m trying my hardest to reach out to you. when i do hear you, it feels like a warm embrace. i don’t know why i took his hand. i was filled with so much rage. hate for the people who made me choose but i know i can’t blame them. i put up walls for a reason, walls that you managed to break through. you made me snap out of that hate. i don’t care anymore. i don’t care if they chase me with pitchforks and torches as long as i get to come back to you. i don’t even care if you won’t look at me anymore, at the monster i’ve become. i just want to see you.
vecna doesn’t know this. somehow, i’ve managed to be his henchman. following him around this wretched place. i’m still trying to find a portal. i think he’s the only one who can open one up. if that’s true, you’d have to wait i bit more, sweetheart. i don’t even know if you can hear my thoughts the same way i hear yours. but it doesn’t hurt to try.
——————————————————————————
eds, i need you. this future thing is so hard. i keep seeing you in my dreams. you’re walking around towards god knows what. you look so scared. i tried running to you but i cant seem to get to you it’s like the path to you is doesn’t end. in some of my dreams, you see me and try to run to me but we just can’t reach each other. god, i miss you.
eddie closes his eyes and lets a tear fall. you sounded so clear that time. fear was so evident in your voice. all he wanted to do was hold you but he can’t. he has to stay. you both have to wait for the right time.
months pass as vecna regains his strength, strong enough to conquer hawkins. ready to unleash the world wriggling underneath mortal feet with eddie by his side. the creature finally opens a gate. eddie watched him closely. learning his strenghts and weaknesses. he is powerful but idle. he is two seperate entities, his mind is not the same as his body.
if i can hear y/n, then maybe someone out there can hear me too.
i can.
a strange soft voice tells eddie and just like a hallucination, he sees a girl approaching him. it's eleven. they device a plan.
now, all they need to do is wait until vecna puts his own plans in motion.
——————————————————————————
the time has finally come. the battle of hawkins. first, vecna unleashes his bats. the sam ones that forced eddie to embrace death as his own. then, the dogs. every monster hawkins, or those who have seen them, in vecna’s arsenal. the mindflayer, demogorons, the spider monster, all released to run around the streets of hawkins and when the chaos is at its peak, out comes vecna with eddie marching beside him.
——————————————————————————
the phone rings incessantly. i wait for it to ring three times, just in case it’s a telemarketer i don’t really want to sit through a sales skit today. fridays are my day off from school and work, only having one class at the crack of hell’s dawn. who said 8 am classes are a good idea? my soul is barely awake at 8 am. 11:46, great this phone call just ruined my nap but i pick it up anyway.
hello?
y/n? thank god!
what’s going on dustin? why are you out of breath? i hear growling, is everything alright?
you the most observant friend i have. so, here’s the sitch, remember all the monsters i told you about, the ones before the demobats and vecna himself?
yeah, in graphic detail, yeah. what about them?
yeah, so, they’re all here.
what the SHIT?! is everyone okay?
everyone is dandy. everyone say hi to y/n!
hi, y/n!
okay, good. i’m guessing you need all hands on deck.
you guessed right but it’s okay if you want out on this one. i don’t blame you.
who said i’m going to pass on my revenge? they took eddie from me, all this rage needs a home, you know?
then let’s bring that baby home.
——————————————————————————
you hop on the fastest flight to hawkins, indiana. fear does not hold place in your heart, anger takes over. you’re going back for eddie. you need to do this. somehow, you’ve convinced yourself that your doing this for eddie but you know deep inside that you’re doing this for you. maybe if you get hurt a little, if you sacrifice yourself like eddie did you won’t feel as guilty anymore. or maybe he’s still in that god-forsaken place, as scared as you were and you wanted to find him.
——————————————————————————
when vecna opens a portal for us, i felt you. i heard you i looked around but you’re not here. thank god. i want to see you but i also want you safe. when i come back to you, i will come back on my own, not with him.
“ah yes, scream for us, hawkins! remember this day as your last! i can almost taste it— fear! my most loyal ally. for years, you stood by me, only getting stronger, hawkins will soon be ours!”
bang
a bullet shot through vecna’s chest. but nancy, this creature does not have a heart anymore. only rage.
“eddie?” nancy shoots a confused look at eddie, recognizable only by his long hair.
“he’s not the same eddie you know. you labeled him freak, a monster, now that’s what he is”
eddie steps closer to the group, still eyeing for y/n, making sure they’re safe.
“he’s right, wheeler. this town drove me to my death. now i’ll drag all of you down with me.” his is words shoot daggers in him, he didn’t mean any of it
just as eddie was about to yield his sword in front his friends, only to use it against vecna at the very last moment, he hears footsteps and an all too familiar voice.
“eddie!”
he manages to slice vecna’s left hand clean off. he quickly turns around and when he does, vecna throws him across the other side of the field. he winces but he immediately gets up to run to you. he knows vecna will try and get to you first.
you’re running towards him too. sprinting, until you’re in his arms. finally.
what are you doing here?
what am i doing here?
it’s not safe, y/n and you know that!
you don’t hear any of his words. he’s finally here. you lean in for a kiss as he talks. he gives in. it felt like hours but you didn’t want it to end. he pulls away as he sees vecna walking towards you.
get behind me
no!
y/n, please!
no, i’m not leaving you, not again.
you stand hand in hand, the others still fighting off the other creatures vecna brought with him.
you think betraying me would stop me from getting what i want? you will die all over again, eddie and you’re bringing y/n down with you.
that won’t happen
do you really think y/n isn’t disgusted by the monster you’ve become? do you really think that in the time you were gone, y/n wouldn’t find someone else? look at them, edward. young, beautiful, full of promises, a bright and happy future. you’re taking that away from them.
you look at him with a blank expression. you take your hand away from his grip as you take a good look at him for the first time. he’s different. a monster. not eddie.
y/n…
vecna shows eddie y/n’s future.
when all of this ends and i take all of hawkins with me. they will leave this place behind. all the pain and suffering that comes with it. you. a part of her past that can easily be buried. you will never be enough for them. you can’t give them the happiness they deserve. face it. it was doomed from the start. you will never be what y/n needs.
eddie! please, wake up! eddie, PLEASE!
y/n…you-you don’t need me so please for the love of god RUN!
NO! the last time i did all i ever felt was pain. i dont need you? eddie, when you weren’t with me i was alive but i felt nothing at all. so you telling me that i don’t need you is bullshit because the moment i saw you again all i wanted to do was run to you, nothing else matters, eddie! just you! so i’m going to stay, i-
STOP IT! i’m not asking you, i’m telling you to run as far away from me as you can! this is my life now and it shouldn’t be yours! have you ever thought about how i could’ve found my way back on my own? i didn’t do that because i didn’t want to, okay? i DON’T love you anymore so there is no reason for you to stay! SO RUN!
eddie screams at you as his eyes widens and turns red. fear sets in your heart but you weren’t afraid of eddie, you were afraid of losing him.
y/n! PLEASE, NO! LET GO! TAKE ME INSTEAD! I WON’T EVER BETRAY YOU AGAIN JUST PLEASE LET THEM GO!
holy shit! y/l/n! steve tries to swing his nail bat at vecna but he manages to use his powers to throw him across the field. nancy goes after him to make sure he’s okay. robin throws a molotov at him but it didn’t work, the vile creature just walked through the flames unscathed. dustin and the rest of the younger ones ran off with hopper and joyce, ready to commence the most important part of their plan.
you continue to float in the air, eyes rolling until eddie couldn’t see your e/c pupils anymore. he knows this all too well. fear has his heart on a tight grip, he can’t lose you again.
oh but we can’t risk that again, can we, teddy?
he’s in your head. eddie knows what vecna is doing. he’s showing you your darkest fear and it hurts eddie that yours is the fear of him not loving you back. grasping at every solution he can think of, he tries bringing you back.
sunshine, do you remember the first time we met? it was at the trailer park. i was playing alone and you gave me flowers, said i looked lonely and then we played all day. you remember that? it was the happiest day of my life.
your body floats higher above the ground. your hands are starting to twist, eddie can tell you’re fighting it.
the first time i realized i loved you was in 5th grade. it was raining, we were on our bikes trying to rush home. i fell and cried, y/n, remember that? but you laughed at me then helped me up. you walked in the rain with me. i didn’t hear thunderstorms that night.
your neck starts to bend sideways, bones cracking. you scream, you can feel every ounce of pain. but you fight. you can’t leave him again.
eddie flashes in your head. him in his prom suit, this shit’s so fucking itchy he complains. eddie strumming his guitar. eddie singing the songs he wrote just for you. eddie reading lord of the rings with you. eddie giving you a bunch of ornamental kale, thinking they were flowers. all your happiest memories were of him. it was enough to fight back.
eddie charges at vecna and stabs his left eye. fueled with rage, eddie fights vecna. each swing of his sword, merciless as the creature writhes in pain. eddie fights with tears in his eyes. he doesn’t know if you’ll survive this. you have to. he tells you as if you can hear him.
vecna finally falls on his knees, evil reduced to a soft thud on the dirt,
i will be back. i am power in the purest form, you out of all people should know that.
vecna says as he turns into dust
power, yes. but an idle one. you will always lose.
and with a final swing of his sword, eddie ends him. for good.

Can I have "You're not alone?" With Eddie Munson please?
-kneecaps anon
“Eddie Munson, the leader of this cult and prime suspect in the murders, has been missing since the earthquake and is presumed dead-”
"Aaaand that's enough of that."
Immediately you switched the TV off, not wanting to hear any more of the bullshit lies the reporter was telling. You wanted to find out how widespread the damage caused by the opening gates was...not more accusations about your boyfriend.
Between traveling through the Upside Down, fighting Vecna, and nearly losing Eddie, you nearly forgot that he was still a wanted man in the real world.
A man who saved a town that condemned him.
It crushed your heart that you couldn't just go and tell them all what really happened--you'll be seen as the crazy one, or even an accomplice--but nobody’s heart was crushed more than-
“Hah, check this out..they're calling it the "Munson Murders". That’s fucking rich. And some people are saying I caused the earthquake. That it's "Hell on Earth" I unleashed."
Turning back to the man curled up on the mattress, you saw him throw away the newspaper he was just reading. He noticed you staring and sighed shakily, looking away with a sniffle, hands wiping at his eyes. You immediately sat down beside him, taking his hand and grazing a thumb across his rings. “Eddie..”
“I was just..trying to do the right thing, [y/n]. But..i-it was all for nothing, wasn’t it?” Tears cascaded down his face as he looked to you, feeling so lost and so devastated. “Hawkins is all fucked up and they’re still out to get me.”
You frowned slightly as his hand squeezed yours tightly. Any more and you would’ve lost circulation, but if that’s what you had to sacrifice to comfort him in this time of need, so be it. You’ll manage.
You, him, and Dustin barely escaped that altercation with the demobats. They managed to bite into him good after he distracted them, though not enough to severely wound him.
In the nick of time, you rescued him by using fire to scare off the bloodthirsty bats, getting him back to the real world and treating his injuries immediately. As much as he probably needed a hospital, you knew that cops would've been notified and he'd be led away in handcuffs the moment he recovered.
You couldn’t risk that. You couldn't lose him again. So for now you'll be in hiding until you can get his name cleared.
“No, baby. It wasn’t all for nothing. You saved us..saved me.” You brought your other arm around him, letting him rest his head on your shoulder.
“To be fair, you saved me...and not just from freaky bats but from my own head. Back when...it happened, you found me. Thank god it was you and not some asshole who thinks I'm psychotic."
"You're not psychotic. They're wrong. All of them are. They just wanna pin the blame on somebody."
"A-And the whole town believed them, didn't they?"
"..Eddie-"
"Honestly I-I felt ready to die back there. All alone...hated by everyone." He shook with soft sobs. "Fuck, I never felt so alone."
Of course, you knew what he meant by "it". After the murders he was hiding from everyone, including you as he refused to answer your calls. He was so terrified of something awful happening to you next that he just...ran in hopes you'll be spared. Part of him also feared that you’ll join those who think he’s guilty.
But you could never betray him like that. Not in a million years.
You held him closely, fingers brushing along his messy hair as he trembled in your arms. If only you could shield him like this all the time and pretend that everything’s gonna be okay.
The truth was nobody knew for sure what was gonna happen to this town. Or if the Upside Down was gonna destroy everything you knew and loved, but nothing was gonna take Eddie from you again. Not this time.
“You’re not alone. You’ll never have to worry about being alone again. Whatever happens next, I’ll be right here with you. If any demobats or demogorgons or humans try to separate us, I’ll fight through every last one until I find you. Because I love you so, so much, Eddie..please don’t ever forget that, alright?”
“I won’t. I-I love you too, baby.” He nodded, pulling away to reveal a watery smile gracing his lips as he kept his arms tightly wrapped around you, afraid to lose you. You're the only one who truly kept him sane after all he's been through.
Smiling back, you cupped his cheeks to kiss him on the lips, before bringing your foreheads together.
He felt like he didn’t do anything to deserve you, and yet here you were, vowing to stay by his side through thick and thin.
Even if the world beyond Hawkins turned against Eddie, you’ll fight for him.
