Note
For Luke's birthday and I have something where Luke meets MC's little sibling of possible, please and thank you.
I made the sibling around toddler age just because I thought it's cute.
-
"I'm so sorry to call you on such short notice but I have to cancel today's plan. My parents had an emergency and now I'm taking my little sibling to a movie." You looked forward to going to the zoo but it can't be helped.
"Aww too bad but I could still come. What are you going to watch?" Luke is open to ell change of plans.
"The Angel Michael. It's a children's thing that is very popular right now." You read the title of the program.
"Wait, I think I have heard of it. I mean I'm way too old for it, of course, but the title made me curious." Luke seems to be a bit embarrassed by the knowledge.
"Oh, that's awesome so you want to come? But be warned, my sibling is very excited to go." You already have to wrangle them while being on the phone.
"Ummm...well it's not like I have other plans and I'm kinda curious about your sibling anyway. So I'd tag along if I'm not a nuisance." Luke also wanted to watch the movie anyway but it seemed childish to him.
"You are very welcome to tag along. Are you okay with meeting in front of the cinema?" You still wrangle your sibling, who insists on dressing as the title character.
"Sure, I know where it is." Luke was there before and he is somewhat glad you aren't insisting on picking him up.
"Great, meet you in a half hour. Hey, get down from there! Sorry gotta take care of the whirlwind here. See ya!" Meanwhile your sibling had tried to test the wings by jumping off the table. Definitely a case of over excitement.
Luke sighs, wondering if this is really a good idea.
Just a bit later you meet.
Your sibling is still running all over the place. Pretending to fly.
"Hey Luke. Please just ignore them if they are too annoying. They are all over the place today. Just too much excitement." You shake your head, sighing.
"Hey, it's alright. They really must look forward to the movie." Luke watched them carefully. Now he sees why you get so well along with the demon brothers.
"They do. Michael is their favorite. I mean he is the main character so it's no wonder." You keep a careful eye on the little one.
"I can understand that Michael is very great. Though seeing him as a child character is somewhat strange." Luke admires the real Michael a great deal after all.
This catches the attention of your sibling. "Michael is the best isn't he?" They stand with bright eyes in front of Luke.
"He really is. Even when he is strict sometimes, but he is very great. I want to be like him one day." Luke talks about the real Michael of course.
"Same here. What do you say to my wings?" The little one twirls around, showing the full outfit off.
"They look very good. Of course the real Michael has more wings but in the show he has only two right?" Luke still tries to hide the fact that he also watches the show.
"Yeah. I wonder if they show us when he gets more wings but you almost sound like you know the actual angel." Your sibling giggles.
"Well…" Luke nervously looks at you, he really doesn't like lying.
"We need to buy the tickets so let's get in line." You try to change the subject, lucky enough it's a success.
Your sibling is now standing between you and Luke.
At least they calmed down a little bit.
"What do you like most about Michael?" Your sibling starts to prove Luke some more.
"That's hard to say. He has so many great qualities. He works very hard but still cares about everyone. If I ever become a high ranking angel I want to become just like him. Though I also admire Simeon a great deal. I guess it's not bad to have two role models." Luke doesn't even realize what he just said until your siblings' eyes start to shine brightly.
"Wait, you are an actual angel aren't you? Don't worry, you can tell me! I can keep a secret." They whisper loudly.
You side glance at them and lean over to Luke. "Don't worry, my parents know about whereI really go to school and accept it. Everyone else will just think they have a vivid imagination. They called their babysitter an angel too." You speak in a very low voice.
"I'm an angel but only a low ranking one. I'm nowhere near Michael." Luke admits it in a low voice.
"Wow, so cool!" They jump up and down being super excited. They start to ask countless questions about the celestial realm until you finally buy the tickets.
"It's so cool that you are an angel. I need to sit next to you!" They don't even ask anyone.
"Is that okay with you?" You look apogetily at Luke.
"I don't mind…" He feels actually pretty flustered by the sudden interest in his person but it doesn't feel bad. Never has anyone looked at him with such admiration.
"Yay. Oh, we need to get the special Michael popcorn bucket." Your sibling suddenly spots the special item.
"That's a pretty big bucket but if we split it it would be okay. What do you say Luke?" You wanted to get popcorn anyway, not like your sibling needs more sugar but still.
"Sure, I will pitch in." Luke proceeds to take his wallet out.
"Let me pay for it. Just pay for your drink. I will get them caprisun and I will have some soda." You have no intention in letting Luke pay for it.
"Alright if it's okay for you." Luke feels a bit guilty but he sees that the main reason for the bucket is your sibling anyway.
You all stand in line for a while.
Behind you is another child with his mom. Eyeing a cute bag of candy. They ask for it but it seems the mother does not have the money for it. It's a bit sad.
Before you can think about it too much it's your turn. You and Luke go separate. You notice that he got himself an extra treat. A bag of candy. You figure that he probably wants to check some human treats and pay no mind to it. Just being glad to be done with the purchase.
"We should look for our seats and we also should go to the bathroom before the movie starts." You especially look at your sibling at the last part.
"Yeah that's true. Can you hold on to my drink for a moment? I will be fast." Luke suddenly seems distracted.
"Of course. We will be waiting here." You just think he might have to go badly.
Your sibling seems busy watching previews on a small screen nearby while you wait.
"Luke really is kind." They say that seemingly out of nowhere.
"He is." You agree with a smile, even when it seems a bit random.
"You know he gave that mom a bag of candy." Your sibling looks at a scene behind you.
You turn and only see Luke walking away, the kid from earlier now happily holding the bag from earlier.
"That was very nice of him." You can only agree with your sibling.
"I think he is right I can have more than one role model." The stars in their eyes grow bigger yet again. Seems like Luke earned a fan.
"That's nice but when will you see me as a role model?" You act offended.
"I consider it when you stop playing with demons." They stick their tongue out and you laugh and ruffle their hair.

Highschool Sweetheart ( w/ diluc ) pt. 1
a short fic of genshin man and their highschool sweetheart; whom only have several amount of time to live. (and how will they take all of these moments you have for granted)
diluc x gn!reader
MAJOR CHARACTER DEATH, prescription/mentions of ilness, heavy angst, comfort/hurt, slight fluff
a/n ; back to these classical angst trope haha,, working on the event request right now haha, kind of excited honestly. Also once again, Thank you for your support! <3 have a pleasant day ahead
Tumblr media
diluc — a warm embrace
Meeting you was a blessing, he convinced. Like those sweet-creeps on tv show, both you and him are lovers to adore in your highschool. Diluc, your highschool sweetheart, he has always been this perfect; a charming prince with an accent of nobility, he was a definition of wish upon the star. but nothing could change the fact he was in love with no one..the unknown and the purest of em all. a not so well coincidence to begin with. Well, after-all…love has no bounds, correct? So why not..he accept this mortality? aside..from the fact you both were a soulmate for one another, beside the fact he was in love with a dying soul, above the fact he was hopeless to begin this tale, it was too late.
His heart beat balanced it’s ballad with your breath, leading his palm to stroke your hair; soft and soothing, a lullaby with no hook. And within each strokers of kisses, he devoted himself; leading you to no end of addiction, realizing how lovely it is for diluc to stay every each hour and then. Making a warmth radiance every second he pass to your room, you were grateful for his presence..and always have been. And those loving realization stick through your head till how death seperated you both.
Monitor everywhere around the shell of your body, inflated and connected to veins and organs you have. gaining a life for someone who’s dying. He wasn’t so sure if it’s right for him to assured you’ll be fine or sort. He wasn’t the one who’s dying, it was you..so how could he assured you, how could he stay..? when you’re about to go; to a place he could only dream of. So every night he stay, every kisses he lingers are honest devotions, touches of memories which past, cliché of warmth embodiment and embraces of the stars apart. He was the moonlight you ought, the warm embracement of heavens apart. The body of radiance, he was your home. Warm..beautiful..perfect. Diluc you’re so warm and it always make me feel as if i was alive. I like that..i’m grateful for that.
he stroke your hair once more. Making sure you were safe in his arm. he wouldn’t go, obviously. He also wouldn’t let go. And just because you’ll fade, doesn’t mean he wouldn’t devote himself to you any longer. He was hopeless, but he wouldn’t give up this fast. Not you, please. He begs on his knees for the archon mercy, but the gods are deaf to their peoples wishes. Gods are selfish, even barbatos, the god who ought freedom are blind to diluc’s nobility and purity. It seems like he was nothing to the gods, ever since his sin turned into his impurity. They are gods, who are they to listen to mortals plea? They deserve their freedom to choose whatever they love because they are god’s. every each subjects, reunions, and meetings, he skip it..he crushed it, he’ll do it all just for you. His highschool day was a mess. Those plea he yells when his knees touch the statue of the impurity was a memory he couldn’t forgot. The breath who whisper amongst his ears were nothing. death would grow, so do his life would fall. but you’re still here and it’s going to be alright…it’s going to be a—
Alright. That’s how he woke up to a decent crook of a bird. It was almost 8pm now, his body was trembling in fear. Leaving cold sweats in his forehead. He was laying in the same position, with dark roses petals on his palm and some white lilies all over the grass he laid his body on. He remembers nothing but the small presence of you behind his mind. He wanders to the sky, searching the brightest star he could; while realizing the tears that formed into his eyes. to the upmost sincerity of the galaxy, he called out your name. Once upon a time those name remembered him of loyalty…now, it reminded him of, home.
The bird in your tombstone chirp it’s lullaby to diluc’s void. the stone where he laid his fingertips on. The stone where he trust his whole life on, it was full of memory and..beauty. As The star was so bright tonight, making diluc’s attention gone too many ways. it was shining..like the wish you made upon your last birthday. To be one of the part of the galaxy, to be your soulmate, and to be your next highschool sweetheart. And to the afterlife, i reborn as the brightest star.
Tonight he found you. The brightest star amongst the all. The part of the galaxy and an afterlife whom waited for his presence.
“i found you again, my dear.”

Solider, Poet, King (Genshin Impact AU)
Hey everyone! E here with a random surprise. Genshin Impact. Never thought i'd be here but here we are. haha This is a christmas gift for my best friend @hains-mae though I'm pretty sure I'll be back here when it's her birthday so i left it open so i could come back haha.
okay there’s some stuff i need to cover underneath to save on post space but long story short this is an alternate universe for genshin (Been a while huh?) and the main ship is venti and lumine if you were wondering. If you wanna learn more, info dump under the keep reading fence sign haha
that is it for me on this side of the fence, have a great week! be safe! wear your mask, keep your loved ones safe, get vaccinated if you can, wash your hands and push for global vaccination. Comments, reblogs, feedback and sharing with your friends is greatly appreciated and i thank you so much for it. Enjoy!
Byeeee!
If you like this story and wanna have an easier time reading it or just wanna know what the hell i wrote, here’s a link to the chapter over on Ao3
https://archiveofourown.org/works/35657500
Here’s the rest of my work
https://archiveofourown.org/users/MrE42/pseuds/MrE42
and here’s the keep out sign for all people scrolling past this wondering WTF
Okay first I’m going to explain the differences between this and the regular genshin if you know what they are.
This is an alternate universe. I dont play genshin that much so instead of tracking all that lore and making a mistake, i decided to just go with this different universe. Umm magic is still the same cuz i love magic and most of the characters are all basically the same in canon. The only thing i really changed was the archons. Instead of having mortal forms and all that jazz, I split them into the Archon deity itself and a normal human person. So like in the case of the star Venti, Venti is a human with the power of the wind and Barbatos (Ventis real name and identity) is the God or Archon of freedom but not venti himself in this universe. I separated their names basically into individual characters, a human and a deity. That way i don't need to remember all the lore and plot and i can give venti a challenge without adding a lot of powerful forces. Divinity is kinda hard to fight guys haha.
The main background is most of the nations were formed in the last decade or so following a giant world spanning civil war. Kinda like the archon war itself from the game. Again making my own universe so I don't have to worry about.....*gestures to all of genshin impact* not my speed but it's still cool lore and such.
Author note: Anything in italics is someone (wonder who) singing, bold and italics is a bunch of people singing and if you wanna know the song, it's the title of the story cuz ironically it fits way too well. The voice actress actually covered the song itself too so that was awesome.
Summary: Venti has been traveling the world for the last few years righting the wrongs of the corrupt and powerful as the vigilante Sprite. However, upon discovering dark forces at work in his beloved Mondstadt, he returns to his home to save its spirit. Just in time to meet a traveling princess from beyond.
-----
The silence that blanketed the forest was hollow and unnatural. A stillness that the life that lived within these woods would never allow. Even now, with the moon waning and dawn approaching, the harmonic sounds of nature should be singing: Birds chirping their nightsong, the flutter of the fireflies, the wind soft and gentle as it raced across the landscape.
Silence meant danger and it was near.
Venti tucked himself deeper into his riding cloak, blowing warm air onto his hands to keep the biting cold from claiming them.
Mondstadt, the city of freedom and once Venti’s personal abode, hadn’t physically changed since the bard had been last but he could feel something lurking underneath the facade of normalcy.
Bandits on the roads, shifty looks and shady dealings under the cover of darkness with a mysterious troublemaker in the center of it all.
Darkness had seeped into his home and he intended to root it one terrible branch at a time.
He let out a disappointed sigh: It was his fault the city of freedom was corrupted by unsavory forces. Forever and a half ago (five years? Maybe ten? A while at least) when he founded the nation of Mondstadt (for which the city was named after. Give him a break he hadn’t been barding at the time) after that fated rebellion he declined rule in favor of wandering the world. He felt true freedom meant the choice came from the people. Also he wasn’t very keen on rule. Really just not his speed whatsoever and he’d probably would’ve ran the kingdom into the ground after a few months.
He hadn’t meant to be gone so long but old habits died hard. Everywhere injustice ran rampant: Those in power abusing it, the poor and weak helpless against an unfair system and freedom oppressed. Venti couldn’t help but interfere the same he way he did all those years ago.
Admittedly being a rouge vigilante was not exactly what he was picturing but you know when life gives you apples, you make cider.
The last few years were a blur with the bard traveling kingdom to kingdom, city to city, countryside to countryside correcting the wrongs. During the day he was Venti, wandering minstrel with a voice that made even the wind flustered. At night he was the mysterious Sprite, vigilante who struck fear into the wicked and lit the flame of rebellion in the righteous.
Though this time he did not enter the kingdom as Venti per his usual tactic. He told himself it was because he may be recognized given how young the nation was and his role in it but in truth shame was what made him cover his face in disguise.
He had the rightful claim to Mondstadt, one he could invoke at anytime if he presented his mark of the Archon. The mark was a symbol of the Seven, the deities of the world. Each nation adopted one of the Seven to guide their rule and Venti had been no exception when he founded Mondstadt. He had chosen Barbatos, Archon of freedom and his symbol was permanently tattooed on his back: Two outstretch bluish green wings extending outward. If he revealed his mark his claim would be recognized and he would be named ruler of Mondstadt.
Which was the last thing he wanted.
Venti was no ruler. Most of the time Venti wasn’t even sober. He preferred laying under the shade of an apple tree, sipping cider (Despite his youthful appearance, he was in fact 25.) and moonlighting as crime fighting keeper of justice.
Besides, based on his kingdom’s current state, he was not fit to be ruler. He left under the impression Mondstadt would be a true pillar of freedom. Instead it’d rotten into a cesspit of corruption.
He knew there were some allies to be found within the city walls: Jean the current Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, a group Venti himself put in place to protect the land. According to his intelligence she upheld justice fervently (to a fault many would say) and was one of the few forces fighting back against the encroaching putrefaction. Jean and her subordinates (Amber, Lisa, Albedo, Kaeya to name a few) would be key when the time came but first Venti needed to see what he was dealing with.
Thus spending the first week in his beloved Mondstadt was spent in the forest, freezing to death and without apples or cider.
It has been the single worst week of Venti’s life. Unfortunately necessary too.
Any power was only as good as its base. The one in charge was often credited for maintaining and gathering it but all power goes from the bottom up. Sometimes to find what you need you start at the bottom.
During one of Venti’s trips into Mondstadt city he discovered that a group of bandits set up shop in the nearby forest and were ambushing innocent travelers.
He’d tracking them the last few nights but the silence tonight confirmed he’d found them. Prey always remained silent to avoid drawing the ire of predators when they were near and there were few predators more dangerous than humans.
Well dragons but that’s not really relevant right now.
There was a slowly approaching light in the distance, the uneven creaking of old wooden wheels against the rough dirt path that wound through the forest. A carriage. Two maybe by the sounds of it.
Venti made sure his mask was on tight, his frame hidden underneath his riding cloak and hood as much as he could manage. Hidden in a bush he would wait to see if this was the prize his prey sought to ensnare.
“Hey!” He murmured to himself “That was good. Prize his prey sought to ensnare. I’ll need to remember that one.’
Venti began to reach for a pen when he heard a twig snapped nearby. His eyes narrowed.
There were a handful of guards walking at a brisk pace alongside an elegant carriage. It seemed otherworldly and grand, far grander than any carriage Venti’s had ever seen.
One of the guards in the front yawned and that’s when the bandits struck.
Arrows pierced the ground just ahead of the distracted guard which sent him onto the floor. The remaining guards flinched in surprise and raced forward to prepare for an attack.
The bandits leapt out of the bushes from behind, arrows poised at the guards who were now far out of range to attack.
“Stay there ya dogs!” A deep voice called out “Or we’ll puncture ya like a needle ball.”
“Needle ball cap?”
“Ya know. Those little balls. The ones those sewing folks stick their pins and needles in.”
“Cap, that sounds dumb.”
“Ya dumb! Ugh just don’t move the lot of ya! Drop your weapons while ya at it!”
Venti could hear the dull thuds of weapons hitting the dirt.
“Showtime.” he murmured to himself as he began climbing a nearby tree as quietly as he could. He managed to make it to a branch high enough to give him a clear shot.
The guards rose their hands in surrender, careful to stay as perfectly still as to not spook the bandits. There were five bandits in question: three with bows and arrows notched while the other two held swords at the ready. One was a wider man which no doubt was the captain of the group.
The captain took a step closer to the carriage “Come on out!”
Venti glared as he realized this was a kidnapping.
There was a moment of pause then the carriage began to subtly wobble from side to side. The door opened and Venti felt the air leave his lungs when he saw who was within.
She was beautiful whoever she was: her hair was blonde, bright even in the darkness and cut into a bob with two shoulder length twin tails framing her face prettily. Her white dress was sleeveless with a class of elegance nobility wish they could have. She wore elbow length white gloves tucked under bracers with white stockings and boots.
The woman glanced around, taking in the situation silently. If she was scared she didn’t show it. Instead her gaze remain stony and indifference. Venti caught his breath when her golden-yellow eyes passed over his direction, pausing for a moment before a flicker of something twinkled in that lovely shade. Without a word she made her way out of the carriage and faced the captain.
“Well isn’t this a catch” He gave a toothy grin “Ya a pretty thing huh? Behave and no harm will come to ya I swears.”
The woman did not respond.
Captain pulled a length of rope from his belt “Now I’m going to tie ya up a little so you don’t go running off. Then we’re gonna take a trip.”
The woman still did not respond, opting to instead clenched her hand into a tightly balled fist.
“Uh oh.” Venti caught the vein slowly forming on the pretty girl’s forehead “That’s not going end well. Time to jump in.”
The bard stood to full height, drawing his bow from under the cloak. He notched an arrow and prepared to fire.
The wind picked up, the gentle breeze turned harsh and fierce.
-----
Lumine was not having a good day. First she was forced to this backwoods ball of dirt in the middle of nowhere and now some idiot was trying to kidnap her. She thought the strangely cloaked figure hidden in the treetops perhaps was a friend but given she stalled for several seconds and no good came from them evidently they were with the bandits.
‘No matter’ She thought to herself tiredly ‘I’ll deal with these fools myself. Same as ever.’
Lumine clenched her fist tight as the captain slowly approached, rope at the ready to bind her wrists.
Between the larger frame of the leader and his men already prepared to unleash their volley the situation wasn’t ideal. All the same Lumine would figure it out with a few will timed fists.
A surprise broke her train of thought in the form of a silver arrow that pierced the soft dirt between herself and the captain.
The captain paused, unsure what exactly he was looking at.
The winds picked up all the sudden, a furious howl that thundered all around. A gust of air crashed into the ground with a ferocity of a storm. Everyone present was violently shoved backwards while a plume of earth exploded outward and blanketed the area in a makeshift fog.
Lumine noticed the silhouettes of the archers staggered unevenly and sprung into action.
Lumine ducked past the bemused leader who flailed about in a wild panic.
A new voice called out, younger and playful with a touch of arrogance.
“Worry not princess, I am here to ensure you don’t break….”
Lumine drove her knee into one of the thugs stomach then her fist face first into another. The third understood what was going in time for her to twirl about. She rose her leg in a high kick and connected with the bandit’s jaw with a mighty crack. Three fell to the floor, motionless.
The cloaked figure gulped nervously “… my nose.”
“I see you decided to join us.” Lumine spoke simply, straightening up and wiping nonexistent dirt from her skirt.
The figure was about to respond when the captain’s second in command rushed at him in a delirious lunge.
The cloak man whirled about, bow gripped tightly with both hands in a mighty swing. His blow connected with the bandit and sent him sprawling to the ground.
“I was finding the right moment!” The figure cried out indignantly “One does not simply heroic swoop in at the first chance.”
Lumine scoffed “Another moment longer and I would’ve bound and helpless while you dealt with more foes.”
The figure stepped closer, the dust cloud slowly dissipated around him.
He was slightly taller than her with a thin frame. Maybe. The large cloak the stranger wore, a forest green shade with symbols etched in a pale sliver, hid his body well. The shadows made it difficult to see his face under the hood though she noticed two braids of bluish hair hanging off either side of his face. He wore a faded white long sleeved tunic tucked under forest green vest. Dark green shorts and dulled white leggings completed the look.
Overall Lumine would’ve guessed he was a simple ordinary...whatever he was were it not for his bow.
It was elegantly designed: A dark blue material outstretched outwards like wings. The centered reminded her of a bard’s lyre. The handle was a pale white with a dark blue grip and the bowstring was silver as if made of moonlight.
“Are you alright princess?” the cloaked figure bowed gracefully.
Lumine’s eyes narrowed suspiciously “How do you know I am a princess?”
The figured flinched, clearly off guard “Oh you actually are a princess. I…wasn’t expecting that.”
“Let me guess” Lumine gestured with her hand “You say that to every pretty girl you run across.”
“Sticks and stones may break my bones but unsavory words hurts ones reputation.”
Lumine paused for a moment. Something was missing.
Or someone.
The captain bellowed a war cry as he rushed forward, a rusty blade held high.
Lumine stepped forward, hand outstretched to summon her magic.
Nothing came.
“What?” she glanced down at her, unsure what was going on.
The cloaked figure threw himself in front of her and gestured with his hand.
A surge of green energy swirled about them for a moment as the captain brought down his sword upon the stranger. The winds shifted once more, howling violently as they rose in a powerful updraft. Lumine and the figure were unaffected by the spell but the captain was thrown high into the air, flailing about like a crazed madman all the while.
The figure drew an arrow, aiming carefully at the falling bandit captain. He let loose his breath then the arrow.
The arrow struck the captain in the chest first with a gust of air hitting a moment later. The captain was thrown far into the distance, beyond what Lumine could see. A dull thud then the forest sang to life: Birds chirped, the dim glow of fireflies began to rise from the grass, the wind breeze was soft and gentle once.
“Are you hurt?” The figure asked carefully.
Lumine shook her head “Perfectly alright. Thank you for your assistance. When you finally decided to give it.”
“All about heroic timing.” the figure chuckled “Now what brings royalty through the forest in the dead of night? The woods are dangerous in the dark and only the foolish or arrogant would travel them.”
“And, pray tell, which are you?”
The figure was silent, clearly surprised by her response “Sharp beauty and sharper tongue. Be still my wounded heart.”
Lumine pursed her lips thoughtfully “Remove your hood kind sir.”
“Trying to gather a peek at the hero underneath?”
“Actually I’m getting tired of guessing where your gaze wanders.”
The figure said nothing, opting to instead lower his hood.
He was handsome, she’d give him that: His hair was a dark blue which faded to aqua at the tips of his braids. He wore a white domino mask with three wings on both sides of it though slowly shifted from white to a light blue the further away from the mask it went. The wings were themselves were less angelic and more fairy. It kinda reminded her of..
“A sprite.” She answered outloud mindlessly.
The figure tilted his head, his aqua green eyes peered curiously at her.
Lumine felt her cheeks burn a pinkish hue “Oh I’m sorry. Your mask. It reminds me of a sprite. A wind sprite specifically.”
“That is I. Sprite, at your service.” Sprite bowed once more “Though I am surprised you are so well versed in our humble little Mondstadt’s fairy tales. Where are you from exactly princess?”
“The kingdom from beyond.” she replied flatly.
Sprite clicked his tongue playfully “You know you could tell me you rather not say.”
“I rather not but that would have been rude.”
“And what brings you here from however far you came?”
“Very far.” Lumine muttered under her breath “Too far. I am here against my better judgment I am afraid. I….am stuck between...places. I require assistance to return to my home. I heard Mondstadt is a fine kingdom to start and in exchange perhaps I can broker some sort of arrangement or trade between its ruler and my father.”
“Again fair princess, You could have told me you rather not have said.”
Lumine rolled her eyes but spoke with a polite tone “Thank you once more for your assistance but I must be off. I was expected in the city hours ago.”
Sprite rose an eyebrow “Hours ago?”
“I got lost. I am...unfamiliar with this place.” Lumine kicked the dirt shyly.
“And the guards?”
“They found me. Local milita. Agreed to take me to the city. And no.” she cut him off before he could chime in “They made me ride in the carriage. I preferred to walk myself but they were very...insistent.”
“At least they were gentlemanly if nothing else.” Sprite let out a hearty laugh.
Lumine chuckled before realizing he was watching her with a mischievous grin.
“Thank you.” Lumine willed her blush away “I take it you will accompany to the gates of the city?”
“Only if you ask princess.”
Lumine gave a cheeky grin “Then this is good bye and good night kind sir.”
Sprite was taken aback but simply nodded respectfully.
“Good night my fair princess. May your beauty grace my life once more.”
“If you don’t spend all your time loitering in the forest perhaps it will. I have no idea how long I will be here nor do I know how my meeting with Lord Childe will go. I’ll probably have to see him in the morning.”
Silence gathered over the forest once, the song of the woods fell quiet once more. Sprite’s posture became serious and distant.
“What did you say? Lord Childe?”
“Yes?” She was unsure what the name meant exactly but given Sprite’s abrupt shift in demeanor Lumine felt a little wary about meeting him now.
Sprite uncharacteristically remain quiet for a moment before speaking in a serious tone “You are certain that is his name?”
“Yes.”
“Remain on your guard. I suspect something afoot in Mondstadt.”
Lumine nodded in agreement.
Sprite sighed tiredly, turning away from her.
“Good bye princess. Stay safe.”
And without another word, he vanished into thin air with nothing but a gentle breeze
-----
Venti stared at the city of freedom in the distance, unable to stop the icy feeling of dread from forming in his stomach.
“Childe.” He absentmindedly whispered to himself “So if Tartaglia is here Signora must be close at hand too.”
He ran his finger down the side of his wind sprite mask.
“I think I found my troublemakers.”
-----
The city of Mondstadt was alive with the sounds of music and cheer. The Windblume festival was close at hand and the residents were eager to take part in the yearly celebration.
Lumine had never seen anything like this up close during her travels but even she couldn’t stop the smile on her face or her head bobbing to the lively atmosphere.
She was about to leave for the palace when noticed a crowd gathering at the front gates, the sound of a lite expertly played and a melodic voice filling the air.
“There will come a solider, who carries a mighty sword. He will tear your city down, oh lei oh lai oh lord. Oh leeeeei oh laaaai oh lei oh looooord. He will tear your city down, oh lei oh lai oh lord.”
Lumine paused at the voice, an odd familiarity to it but she couldn’t place from where. She made her way over, cutting through the crowd to see who was drawing such attention.
It was man, a handsome man surrounded by the admiring masses.
His clothing was elegant and refined: A flowing cape of teal with a white lining trailed behind him as he danced with such grace it was like he was floating on air. A deep blue and gold bow held the cape in place which draped over his white long sleeve tunic and brown corset-like attire. Teal shorts with white stockings covered his legs, three gold diamond shapes stitched into the white fabric. Dark brown loafers graced his feet and upon his dark blue hair was a teal beret tilted lazily to one side. There was a flower tucked in his dark locks as he strummed his beautiful wooden lute with blue strings.
The stranger glanced her way and made his way closer towards her, his feet lightly dancing all the way like he was walking on air.
“There will come a poet, whose weapon is his word. He will slay you with his tongue, oh lei oh lai oh lord.”
The crowd joined in, singing as one with the bard
“Oh leeeeeie oh laaaaai oh lei oh looooord.”
“He will slay you with his tongue, oh lei oh lai oh lord.”
and with a playful wink and grin, the bard was off. He skipped and bounce his way across the stony floor.
“There will come a ruler, whose brow is lay in thorn.”
“Whose that?” Lumine muttered breathlessly, blood flushing into her cheeks.
“Smeared with oil like David’s boy, oh lei oh lai oh lord.”
“Oh him?” someone nearby answered though she was too far distracted to notice who it was “Says his name is Venti. He’s traveling bard in town for the festival.”
"oh leeeeeeei oh laaaaaai oh lei oh loooooord.”
“Venti….” Lumine whispered softly.
“Smeared with oil like David’s boy, oh lei oh lai oh lord. Oh leeeeei oh laaaai oh lei oh loooord. He will tear your city down oh lei oh lai oh lord.”
The crowd burst into thunderous applause and Venti the bard bowed gracefully.
Without a sound, the crowd before the man as he made his way deeper into the city.
Lumine watched him go, wondering all the while why he seemed so familiar.
And why her heart was beating so fast.

Happy Birthday, Lucifer~!
(( This is a little one shot to celebrate Lucifer’s birthday, that is based on today’s event, but with some...More personalising to it!
Also, Lucifer’s smile, like Satan’s, looks like a kittens, and it kills my heart <3 ))
Tumblr media
Diavolo gathered us in the big hall, the same place as when I was brought to the Devildom to this exchange student program, which is when the Devil Prince, holding the same type of mischievous glint in his eyes as usual, grinned widely at us, telling us that the reason for gathering here was Lucifer’s birthday the next day, and his wish to throw him a party.
Unfortunately, it seemed like some of his brothers completely forgot about his birthday...
But it was much worse that Lucifer was so busy that he may or may not forget his own birthday.
“Hey, Diavolo, why don’t we throw him a surprise party? Nothing necessarily big, just...Something with us, the people closest to him. I think he would appreciate it.” I suggest, making the man gleam with happiness. “I like that. It’ll make his heart jump out of his chest.” Diavolo grinned at me. “That settles it. We will throw Lucifer a surprise birthday party.” Barbatos chimed in simply.
Hearing about the surprise party, everyone was on board, wanting to have fun, so we decided to make it happen in the House of Lamentation and divide all our tasks.
Beel and Asmo were in charge of decorations, Barbatos, Satan and Belphie were I charge of the food, Diavolo would oversee everyone’s preparations, I was supposed to distract Lucifer for the whole day, as Asmo was to help me with a plan, and uhm...
Mammon and Levi were...Uhm...
Reporting back to the party back at home...Or something?
I don’t know, but I guess stalking would be the right job for two lazy guys.
And so, I go around the place looking for the man in cause, and I finally manage to find him at his own room, hunched over the desk, looking absolutely exhausted.
Tumblr media
“Lucifer...Are you alright...?” I sighed, putting my arms around his neck from behind. “Nothing new, just a tremendous amount of work during this time of the year.” he replied, almost robotically. “I see...Well...Would you want to go out with me tomorrow? Maybe it will help you relax a bit. I’m exhausted only looking at you, to be fair.” I suggest in a softer tone. “Tomorrow...? I’ve finished up my work for the student council, so I can afford to take a break, but...Why so sudden?...Don’t tell me...You’re up to something again.” he turned to look at me with a suspicious frown. “No...Nothing of the sort. Looking at you like that makes me believe that a change of pace would help you relax a bit. You’re overworking yourself without realising...Even Diavolo is concerned. And besides, what’s the harm in going out, right?” I smiled at him, taking his hand in mine, squeezing it gently. “It seems you knew that I’ve been quite busy lately. Well? Do you have a specific destination in mind? Wait, no, don’t tell me, I shall know when we go. It is best to save the excitement for later.” Lucifer chuckled lightly. “I hope you’ll enjoy what I have in mind. I-I mean, it’s nothing too big, just something nice and casual, with the purpose of charging up your batteries.” I grin at him, and he offers me a smile...A smile that looks like that of a kitten’s. “Heh. You seem rather confident in your choices. Thank you for thinking about my well being. Now then, I’ll see you tomorrow.” he nodded at me. “I’ll see you tomorrow, Lucifer...Please take care of yourself.” I waved at him, leaving for my room.
On my way to the room, I met up with the stalker duo...And it was, uh...As interesting as always.
“Y/N, you alright?!” Mammon cried out loudly. “Well, duh. Lucifer would never hurt Y/N.” Levi spoke as a matter of fact. “Yes, exactly. Except for the 2 or 3 times when he almost killed me.” I chuckled lightly, shuddering internally at the experiences. “But maybe he already found out about what’s goin’ on! Y/N might’ve blurted out somethin’ about the surprise tomorrow.” Mammon tried to play off his concerns. “Y/N isn’t an airhead like you, Mammon. So, how did it go, Y/N? Mission accomplished?” Levi quickly dismissed his brother. “Well, of course I succeeded. And he was pretty happy about it.” I smiled softly, hoping I wasn’t blushing. “THAT Lucifer?! He didn’t even doubt ya, but was happy?! He’ll only act like that when it comes to you, Y/N...” they continued to talk, but I went to my room to sleep and think over everything that was supposed to happen tomorrow.
The next day I take a quick bath, and curl my long hair in some nice, graceful curls, nothing too fancy, but not too casual either, and with some nice day-make up, and a nice outfit, I go to knock on Lucifer’s room, knocking, and asking if he’s ready.
“Are you ready, Lucifer?” I asked, smiling sweetly at him. “I am, although, I believe this dynamic we are having should be the other way around.” he hummed, as we walked out of the place. “How about you take me on a date next time you feel burnt out from overworking yourself, which won’t be too long, if you ask me. Maybe it would help you relax a bit?” I walk closer to him, as the lights from the busy street shops were illuminating cheerfully. “I can’t say I disagree...Oh, I see. A movie theater. What movie are we going to see?” he asked, smirking as he realised we were approaching said place. “There’s this movie that had a pretty neat name...The Fiery Depths of Hell. I think it’s a horror movie? But I’m not sure what HORROR would be for demons.” I laughed at my words, and it seemed to amuse him as well. “Hopefully scarier than what you humans create. I see it has a pretty fine cast. It has been a long time since I last saw a movie. Two tickets, please.”  he walked ahead of me to the ticket booth, making my eyes go wide with surprise. “W-Wait, hold up....!” I hurried to his side, as he only put his arm around me, guiding me inside with a knowing smirk. “What is it? I already paid for the tickets, let’s go. Is it your first time in this place?” he asked, as we got in front of the snacks booth. “Yep. Asmo and Satan told me they go pretty often here and that this place is really pretty, so I thought it’d be a nice to bring you here...Although I’m pretty sure this experience won’t be as...Special, since it’s not the first time you’re here.” I scratched the back of my neck sheepishly, looking away with a small smile. “Nonsense. The person with whom I am with is what makes this special. Are you ready here? Let’s find our seats.” he spoke, making my cheeks get a tint pinker. “Haha...I never realised how much of a smooth charmer you can be.”  I cover my mouth for a few seconds in embarrassment, as he only hummed in amusement, sitting in his seat, and we waited for the movie to start. “There’s nothing better than watching a movie with flame-scorched popcorn and sparkling fresh bloody soda.” he leaned back in his seat, a look of relaxation washing over his face. “Flame-scorched...Let me guess, is that spicy popcorn? I’ve never heard of that in my world. And bloody soda...Is that like wine?” I asked, turning to him, leaning on the arm rest. “Why don’t you have a taste?” he smirked mischievously, putting his hand on my cheek, making me open my mouth, as he put a bit of popcorn on my tongue. “What do you think?” he chuckled lowly, seeing my red cheeks. “It’s not bad...I was expecting it to be much hotte...OH MY GOODNESS, THIS IS HORRIBLE, I NEED SOME WATER ASAP!” in the next second, I could feel myself being set on fire, that’s how horribly spicy the popcorn was. “That was entertaining.” he laughed mirthfully, handing me a bottle of fresh, ice-cold water. “You’re enjoying it, aren’t you?” I spoke weakly, a pout on my face after finishing the water bottle in one go. “You got this water knowing this would happen, didn’t you?” “I was merely curious to see how bad it affected a human, and needless to say, I am rather pleased with the results. Your assumption is correct as well...I can’t say that I’m not enticed by the cute face you are making right now, especially with the tears glistering in your eyes.” he teased, taking the handkerchief from his pocket and wiping them away, as he caressed my face gently. “I hope you’re bloody extasic, you truly gave me a HELLISH experience.” I chuckled, amused by this as well. “That was a pretty witty prank, I have to admit. I’d have died of laughter, if anyone else was the victim.” “I shall take that as a compliment. If you’ve managed to calm down, let’s see what you’re having. Hell Black Honey Popcorn. Looks rather sweet, let me have a taste.” he extended his hand towards my popcorn bag, only to have me slap it away, giggling playfully. “Let me return the favour. At least I’m sure there’s no harm going your way.” I said, feeding him, which made him blush slightly as well from the intimacy. “Hmm...It’s so sweet that I’m getting a sugar overload. Even so, it’s quite addicting. You made a sound choice, it suits you.” he chuckled, a smirk on his face, as the light went out and the movie began.
During the movie, there were a few commotions, and I could only guess it was the idiotic duo...But this mess continued even when we left the theater and we were walking slowly, almost aimlessly. I could only flinch slightly from time to time and peer behind my shoulder, hoping that Lucifer wouldn’t catch on.
But I was wrong, he’s the most perceptive demon I know, next to Diavolo, Goddamn those two idiots.
“Why do you continue to peer over the shoulder?” he asked in confusion. “Oh, s-sorry, I hope it didn’t annoy you. I, uh...Kinda got the chills. No big deal, really.” I played it off quickly. “Do you have a cold? You should take better care of yourself.” he spoke with a slight frown on his face. “...Should you really be the one to tell me that?” I chuckled, looking up at him with a coy smile. “Touche, Y/N. Regardless, it’s been a long time since I last saw a movie. Did you enjoy it?” he asked with a bright smile on his face, as he took off the coat from his shoulders and put it over mine. “L-Lucifer, you don’t have to-” I protested, only for him to put his arm around me, putting me to his side, to silence me, under the pretext that the streets are overcrowded and he doesn’t want us to get separated. “W-Well, it was a really nice movie. Usually, I watch horror movies to get some laughs, but this actually had a pretty interesting plot.” I offered him my insight, as he only nodded. “Indeed. The background info you offered me was useful. You’ll have to tell me more about it.” he spoke, obviously trying to make conversation. “Sure, I’d love that. The symbolism from this movie was really something else, and -” I began to explain some of the film ideas, only to get interrupted by a pitched voice. “Wh-Wh-Wh-What are you two doing here?! A-And you’re...You’re so close! L-Like you’re c-c-cuddling!” Luke’s shocked voice echoed through the street. “We’re on a date. Is there a problem?” Lucifer’s voice was low, velvety, showing off the smugness. “Huh?! A d-date?!” the kid gaped at us, his pale face getting pinker than roses. “I-I guess that’s how it is.” I hummed, feeling my heart beat a bit faster hearing him say that. “Is that really how it is?!” Luke stared, still unbelieving. “Enough with the questions, Chihuahua.” Lucifer sighed, bored and irked at the interruption. “How many times do I have to tell you?! I’m NOT a Chihuahua!” he yelled at the demon who towered over him. “Sure. You only act like one.” I shared a playful look to Lucifer, giggling in amusement. “Oh, I thought I heard a commotion over here. Hey, Lucifer, Y/N!” Simeon’s graceful smile came in the picture. “Oh good, the Chihuahua’s owner is here.” Lucifer’s taunting words rung again, making me try to stifle my laughter. “I told you I’m not a Chihuahua!” Luke shrieked even louder. “What a coincidence, meeting you two here! Oh, that’s right, today is Lucifer’s-” Simeon began, which made me widen my eyes and try to talk over him. “Day off. Yes, today is Lucifer’s day off. I told Simeon that I’m taking you out for today, and if he needed to talk to you, to just call me or come by the next day.” I tried to explain, so the angels would get what I’m trying to do. “How thoughtful of you, Y/N, but you needn’t worry yourself over me that much.” he shook his head in disdain. “Luke, I just remembered we have something very urgent to attend to, so we must be on our way. It was nice seeing you, Lucifer, Y/N!” Simeon tried to walk away, only to have Luke look at him with confusion. “We had something urgent to do today?” he asked, tilting his head to the side, truly like a puppy. “Yes, Luke, we have something very, VERY urgent to do, remember?” the man urged on, a bit stronger. “O-Oh, yeah! Uhh, we’re very busy! See you later, Y/N, Lucifer!” Luke started running away. “Uhm...Do they always behave so...Uhmm...Weird?” I asked, biting my lip, fearing for the plan’s success. “What on earth is wrong with those two?” he shook his head in disbelief, then looked at me with a raised eyebrow. “You’ve been checking the time rather frequently. Something is going on, isn’t there? You have been acting strange since yesterday. When do you plan on telling me the reason?” he started his suspicious interrogation, and I started worrying. “What do you mean, Lucifer? You know I always have my phone in my hand, don’t you? It’s a pretty bad habit of mine, but that’s just how it is. And besides, is wanting to spend time alone with you that strange?” I looked at him with mock hurt. “Do you still insist on playing games? You’ve got a lot of nerve. I never knew you were so stubborn...I didn’t want to ruin today’s plans, so I pretended not to notice until now...Come out, you two!” Lucifer, after glaring at me, used his magic to pull the 1-Braincell Duo to us, and they were sent flying and screaming  our way. “Ouch! What was that for, Lucifer?! Using your magic to drag us out is unfair, doncha think?” Mammon complained, only to have his elder brother yell at him, and him to squeak in fear like a little mouse. “Th-This ain’t what it looks like! Calm down, Lucifer!” he tried to reason. “Lucifer’s rage has taken shape! What will become of Mammon?” Levi blushed as he was...Vlogging...? “Dammit, Levi! Enough with the commentary!” Mammon started fighting with him. “I can’t deprive my subscribes from such a juicy scene.” Levi chuckled carelessly. “You want to interrupt us that badly, huh? Mammon, Levi.” Lucifer glared at them as if staring into their souls. “Eeek! O-Of course not! This is all for your birthday...ARGHH!” Mammon gasped as Levi’s tailed came flying and slammed him on the pavement. “You stupid big mouth!” he glared at the white haired man, as I could only stare in disbelief. “So that’s what you were planning, isn’t it? Some kind of birthday prank? You knew I was prone to forgetting about it, because of my overworked schedule, and you took advantage of it. All three of you.” Lucifer started growling in anger. “God DAMN it, you, stupid MAMMON! This is why EVERYONE tell you you’re a complete MORON! I’m DONE with taking your side, you’re just a big, obsolete, incurable, hopeless, scummy fucking I D I O T ! Once! Just freaking ONCE! Did I EVER ask you to just keep your STUPID mouth SHUT, and what do you do? Get yourself in THESE kinds of situations and you manage to spill EVERYTHING!” I screamed at the idiot who was in pain on the ground, which made the eldest brother widen his eyes in realisation. “Great job, Mammon, you made the calmest person alive angry. That’s something only you would be capable of doing.” Levi glared, sighing in equal anger. “...Why is Y/N scarier than Lucifer when angry?” Mammon squealed in fear. “So this wasn’t supposed to be some kind of elaborate prank on me?” Lucifer asked in a softer voice. “No, goddamn it! I was trying to make you a birthday surprise, but it’s all ruined, thanks to this dumbass. Gahh, whatever, it doesn’t matter anymore. Whatever, what’s done is done, I’m leaving. Good luck with the rest of the plan. Bye.” I gave Lucifer back his coat, rushing away from that place, trying to calm down and find a nice place to be alone.
Eventually, I found a nice, very big fountain, and surprisingly, the water falling down was the more calming thing in the world and exactly what I needed.  Not to mention the beautiful lights and colours of the water, the statues, the garden and everything around.
All that was missing was some music and a person to stay with.
Sighing, I climb up on top of the block around the fountain, laying down and staring up at the starry sky.
I put the ringing D.D.D. on silent, then took out my own phone and put on my earphones, listening to some blues music, and stared at the twinkling stars.
I didn’t realise for how long was I there, until someone took off one of the earbuds, making me squeak in fright and jump in a sitting position, my phone flying down, from my torso.
“My, my, who knew you’d get scared so easily.” he hummed in amusement, but then his face went more serious, seeing me sighing. “Levi told me everything.” “Why are you here...? You should be home, the others are waiting for you. They worked very hard for the party to be done, and Asmo especially was the most excited about it. Not to mention, Diavolo will be there...Can’t make him wait, can we.” I shifted my gaze towards the falling water once again. “Can’t have a party without you. I told you today, it’s about the company, not the place or occasion.” he leaned on the block that I was sitting on. “I just...Wanted you to be happy, at least on your birthday. You always stress yourself so much for every little detail, and you carry everyone’s burden’s...I thought you could use a distraction from your daily routine.” I hugged my legs to my chest, resting my chin on my knees. “And I am thankful for that. I am aware that everything we’ve done today was genuine. I appreciate all the effort you went through to make this day great for me.” he reassured me gently. “You’re just being nice...Honestly, I just...I can’t believe I got so angry...I didn’t mean to be so harsh on Mammon, but...But I can’t stand when people ruin my plans, especially those that I am incredibly invested in.” I raked my fingers through my hair, making him chuckle. “I tend to say that rather often.” he smiled in amusement. “How come you went here?” “...I had no place in mind. My feet took me here...I’m surprised, but happy. This place is very...Relaxing.” I lay back down on the block, looking at the stars, then rolling to face Lucifer. “Do you ever...Allow yourself some time for yourself? Just to watch the sky and admire the stars and moon? To listen to the sound of the running water...And just...Vibe?” I asked him, extending my hands towards him. “I suppose I don’t. Perhaps I should start taking your advice.” with a playful smile, he hopped on the block and laid down next to me, holding my hand while at it, as a comfortable silence took over us. “...How are you feeling?” I asked, barely above a whisper. “I can understand why you would recommend doing this. It is truly relaxing.” turning my head to the side slightly, I could see a soft smile on his face, which made my heart pound faster. “You know...Some time ago, I and my best friend would go to the fountain in our University dorms’ campus. It was kinda like this, but without the fancy lights and colours. But...There were some speakers that would play romantic songs. During summer, when we were in our exam session, we would go out past midnight, when nobody would bother or see us...And...We’d take our shoes off and start fooling around in the water. It was ice cold, but outside was hot, and it was refreshing. We would dance together, jump around, splash water on each other...Sometimes I really miss that.” I grinned in amusement at the nostalgic memory. “Would you want to recreate that?” he asked, making me get in a sitting position and look at him with shock, before taking out my phone and putting a playlist of the most romantic human songs. “What are we waiting for, then?” with a huge smile on my face, I quickly take off my shoes, put the socks in them, and jump in the fountain, squealing a bit at how cold it was. “Careful, it’s very cold.” “I see you are enjoying yourself. Don’t mind if I join in.” he chuckled in amusement, taking off his shoes as well, ready to hop off the block, only to have me stop him. “Silly, lift your trousers. It would get pretty uncomfortable to have the bottom part of your legs wet, huh?” I chuckle, rolling the hems of the legs of the pants enough so they won’t get wet, then grabbed his wrist, dragging him into the fountain pond. “How do you feel doing something improper?” I laughed with glee, as he shivered at the cold water. “It’s...Definitely not something I am used to.” he chuckled softly, as he pulled me to his chest.
There were no more words being spoken, and there was nobody else to watch or judge us, except for the Silver Moon lending us her light as we swayed and danced around in the cold water, as if nether of us ever had any problem or worry in the world.
It seemed like the whole world disappeared, only the two of us, pressed together, as our emotions were overflowing, and the next thing I know, we both leaned in to share a soft kiss, filled with so much love and tenderness, almost afraid as if this was a mere fairy tale and this scene was going to disappear, like a dream.
“Are you happy, Lucifer?” I asked in a voice barely above a whisper, resting my chin on his chest, looking up at him with a starstruck expression on my face. “Yes, I am. Thanks to you, Y/N. I’m grateful for everything you’ve done for me.” Lucifer’s face was relaxed, calm, soft, like nobody has ever seen him before. “...Did I ever tell you that you’re the most gorgeous being in the world?” my smile grew wider as he widened his eyes and his cheeks started reddening in embarrassment. “You’re a human, that’s not many beings you’ve seen in your short lifespan.” he teased, evading the subject, which only made me chuckle. “Shut up and take a compliment, silly.” I slapped his shoulder, looking away to laugh.
Our lovely moment was interrupted by his D.D.D. ringing, and it was a cue that we should return home for his party, despite the surprise being ruined.
We sat on the fountain’s pond rim to get out shoes back on, but Lucifer decided to be Prince Charming and kneeled in front of me, putting on my shoes as if I was Cinderella, which only made me look down, bashful, earning a low chuckle from him.
As soon as we got in front of the House of Lamentation, Lucifer opened the door, and as soon as he stepped in, confetti and party trumpets were all over the place, which in all actuality seemed to shock him., while everyone was shouting their happy birthday wishes to him.
“I was so focused on what happened today that I completely forgot about this. Thank you, everyone.” Lucifer made that kitten smile again, which only made me fawn over him. “First, he forgets his birthday, and now, judging by his face, he forgot even about this not-so-surprising party. It’s just like you predicted, My Lord.” Barbatos smiled calmly at Diavolo. “It’s been 500 years since I’ve seen Lucifer look so surprised.” the Prince grinned warmly. “Of course I’m surprised. The entrance hall is...Full of flowers and decorations. It doesn’t even look like the House of Lamentation.” Lucifer chuckled, looking around the place. “Yeeeeees! I came up with the idea and Beel helped me put up the decorations!” Asmo chirped brightly. “I...can’t wait...Any longer...” Beel groaned, starving. “Hey, Beel! Stop drooling on my head!” Levi whined in annoyance “Guys...Where is Mammon? I have to apologise for lashing out at him.” I scratch the back of my neck sheepishly. “Mammon is hiding inside that giant decoration over there.” Satan betrayed his location with no second to spare. “Gahh! Satan, you traitor...!” Mammon slowly left his hiding spot, as I and Lucifer shared an amused look. “Mammon.....!.....One second thought, today’s a special occasion so I’ll forgive you for running your mouth like that. Also, Y/N is sorry for being too harsh on you.” he chuckled, looking softly at his younger brother. “Big broooooo! Y/NNNNNN!” Mammon gleamed with absolute happiness hearing that.
We took the party to the dining place, where we toasted in Lucifer’s honour, and we found out about the funny situation between Beel and the poor trio assigned to the food.
“So, if Asmo and Beel were in charged of the decorations...And Satan, Belphie and Barbatos were in charge of the food...Were Mammon and Levi designated to get in my way?” Lucifer raised his eyebrow in curiosity. “The Single-Braincell Stalker Duo was supposed to be on Watch Duty...Or something like that.” I shrugged, chuckling at how silly that sounded. “They were rather noticeable.” the man sighed, shaking his head. “I was there to make sure Mammon didn’t screw up.” Levi defended himself. “See how well that worked out.” I sighed in mock-annoyance. “You were desperate to tag along so you could do live coverage of your stupid mission!” Mammon revealed Levi’s true intentions. “It’s a personal rule of mine to not live in the past.” Levi chuckled, brushing that aside.
After that, Diavolo made everyone give Lucifer their gift and a heartfelt birthday wish, and as expected, everything was very silly, awkward and funny, which only made it better.
Grinning, I take out a little dark blue gift box patterned with silvery stars and that has a silver bow, and handed it to the birthday boy, urging him to open it.
“Happy Birthday, Lucifer. I thought it would be cute...When I saw this Cerberus necklace, I just had to get it for you. Well...For the both of us.” my cheeks were sent ablaze as I took out the necklace from under my top, as soon as he opened the gift box. “Well, isn’t that adorable. Thank you, Y/N. Now I’ll think of you whenever I see it...And you shall do the same with me.” Lucifer leaned down to plant a lingering kiss on my forehead, expressing his gratitude, while everyone gasped at the action. “I’m glad I can finally see your smiling face.” Diavolo spoke in a softer, yet definitely gleeful voice. “I am very happy.” Lucifer’s kitten smile appeared on his face again. “I’m so glad that we met.” I muttered, gazing at him with infinite love. “As am I, Y/N. I will forever be grateful to Fate for making me choose you as the exchange student. Also, I appreciate the effort you all have to put this together. This will be remembered as my greatest birthday. You all have my gratitude...Cheers!”
And with that, Lucifer raised his champagne glass to toast once again, and we all joined in, having a great time for the rest of the night.

😭 all I can think of for the twins birthday is the cake. Maybe the kinds of cake you think they’d eat?
Lol, the true glutton choice — I mean it's right on the mark.
Now I'm hungry. T-T
I just made a little baking cake scenario, where you bake a cake with one twin for the other twin.
Both of these are like 1k words
Belphie
He comes to you with his request.
"Look, I want to bake a nine-tier cake for Beel. Last year we all baked him a small one, but it just wasn't enough to feed him at all. So this year I want to make sure that he gets enough cake to be full."
"Nine tiers? That's a lot. Will that even be possible?" You can't imagine it.
"Normally it wouldn't, but I have some special powder that will make it possible. It will cause the cake to be super light." Belphie then shows you a couple of cupcakes. He lets them go, and they float in the air. "See, I made these to make sure it will work."
"Wow, that's pretty cool. But wouldn't it be easier to just bake nine cakes and why nine tiers anyway?" You are impressed but still wonder why the extra effort.
"Maybe, but that's how we do it every year. I want something special for him this year and the number is just for every person that means so much to us." Belphie is steadfast in his decision.
"Did you include me on that list?" That is the only way the math adds up.
Belphie grins. "Yes, of course. So will you help me?"
"I will help you. I want to see Beel’s smile too." Naturally, you agree.
Belphie is honestly relieved.
It's a challenge to put it lightly. The sheer amount of ingredients makes you dizzy.
Your whole body hurts after mixing everything together.
Belphie is very determined, you rarely see him like this.
He doesn't even seem to be tired at all.
Baking the cake is another big challenge.
You use the kitchen in the castle since the oven is bigger.
Both of you are kinda bored watching the oven.
"You are covered in flour." Belphie chuckles.
"Haha yeah, so are you." You shake the flour off your clothes and laugh.
Belphie cleans himself up. "You forgot some." Belphie pats your shoulder and then wipes your face. His hand lingers longer on your face than it needs to be.
You blush.
"Belphie, do I really have flour there?" You are pretty sure that it must be all gone now.
Belphie smiles at you in a devious way. "Probably not." Then he pokes your nose and giggles.
You puff your cheeks. He always does things like this to you. "You got some flour left too." With that, you ruffle his hair.
Belphie huffs. "If you play dirty like that I will get you back." With that, Belphie starts to tickle you.
"Ahh, so unfair." You playfully protest. "I will get you back for that one!" You start to attack his side.
What causes Belphie to laugh uncontrollably. "Stop, stop, I admit defeat."
"Alright, I hope you learned your lesson." You grin at him victoriously.
Belphie holds his hand up in the air. "I will not mess with the new tickle champ anymore. How about a victory kiss?" He smiles at you.
You shake your head and are about to give in when the timer rings.
Belphie groans. "Talk about bad timing."
You giggle and help to pull the cake out.
Then you layer everything and cover the whole cake.
It's a very impressive sight.
"So, now we just have to bring it to the room where the food for the party is stored." It will still be a challenge, that much is certain.
"Don't worry Barbatos said we can leave it here, and he will bring it to the party." Belphie is glad that he already took care of it.
"Great, so that means we are done?" You feel a sense of relief.
"Well, yeah except for one thing." Belphie smiles at you.
"And that is?" You wonder what you have forgotten.
"Close your eyes," Belphie smirks at you. You know what that means. So you play along. "Alright." You close your eyes.
Anticipating what will come next.
You can feel his breath on your face.
Then he gives you a very soft kiss. "Thank you for your help today."
Your eyes flutter open, and you see Belphie with slightly red cheeks.
"No problem." You barely manage to say this much.
Then you get interrupted by Barbatos and just go back to your room.
Finally, the day of the party arrives.
You barely can wait for Beel’s reaction.
The cake is massive. It's the biggest thing you have ever seen.
When Beel sees it he is so happy. He barely stops himself from jumping into it.
The hugs both you and Belphie with a bear hug. "Thank you so much you two! This is the best present."
"No problem Beel." You only manage to say this much.
"As long as you like it I'm happy." Belphie is very pleased with this reaction.
It was all worth it.
  Beel
He comes to you with a big request.
"I really need your help with baking a cake for Belphie."
"Sure, what can I help you with?" You have a feeling why he might need help.
"Well, first of all, I want to make sure that I don't eat all the ingredients. I bought more than enough but I can't mess it up. I also need some help with the decoration." Beel looks like a distraught puppy.
"I can help you with that no problem." You know how hard this is for Beel. So you gladly offer your support.
"Thank you so much! I will pay you back for sure." Beel lights up, it seems like a big stone fell off his heart.
"There is no need for that. I enjoy baking and I love spending time with you." It's a great way to spend time together in your opinion.
"Great, then let's do this!" Beel is pumped.
You both go to the kitchen.
You can see that Beel bought at least 10 times the amount of ingredients.
"Alright, I will manage the ingredients and you will do the mixing." This is the best plan in my opinion.
Beel agrees with a nod. "Sounds good."
You carefully measure everything and Beel really fights against his urge to eat everything.
It's a struggle for Beel.
"Here have this." You hand him an xxxxxl chocolate bar.
"Thanks, you are a lifesaver." Beel gratefully eats it. This seems to help Beel a lot.
"No problem. That's why I'm your baking assistant after all." You smile at Beel.
"I'm glad that I asked you. I can't thank you enough for this." Beel smiles kindly at you.
"How did you do this before I came?" You are pretty curious about this.
"Well, I always manage somehow. I would make a few cakes or just ask one of my brothers to hold me back. It was always a huge battle. It's pretty shameful to be honest." Beel looks distraught.
"You still always manage to do it for Belphie and that is all that matters in my opinion. No matter how tough it is on you, you still do it just to make him happy. I think that's pretty amazing." You want to encourage Beel.
Beel smiles at you. "You might be right. Thank you for seeing it like this."
It's like he never even considered thinking this way.
Then the cake is ready to be baked.
Beel is very careful with it.
You look at all the ingredients you still have left. "What should we do with these?"
"Hmmm, it's much more than what I usually leave. I haven't thought about it." Beel expected to eat most of the extra ingredients.
"I think we should make some muffins with them. It would be a great treat for everyone." You think it will give Belphie the chance to enjoy his favorite cake in a new way.
"That's a great idea. I'm sure Belphie will love that." Beel loves this idea.
"How about we have a snack while the cake is baking? It smells so good I'm getting hungry." As if to agree, my stomach rumbles.
"I thought it was just me. I will make us some sandwiches. Is that alright with you?" Beel chuckles lightly.
"Sounds great." You can only agree.
While Beel is preparing food for you, you notice the flour in his hair. "Can you bend down for a moment?"
"Um, sure." Beel doesn't even question why.
You gently remove the flour. "There you go."
He looks a bit confused.
"There was flour in your hair."
"Ah, and I thought you were just patting me for some reason." Beel smiles at me.
"I can do that too. You definitely deserve headpats." You giggle a little.
Beel blushes and then his stomach starts to sound like a lion. "We need to do that later."
"Haha yeah sure seems like it." You both eat your sandwiches. Beel eats an entire package.
Then the cake is done.
"It already looks great. Now it needs to cook down and then we get to decorate it." You look at the cake.
Beel nods. "We should use the time to make the muffins."
"Yeah, that's right." You start to prepare the ingredients and Beel does the mixing.
This works best for both of you. Then you bake the muffins.
"So now to decorate this cake. Will you use the chocolate or do you want to put the sugar decorations on it?"
"I will do the chocolate. These sugar decorations somehow always break when I touch them." Beel seems to have tried it many times.
It makes sense to you that he is so strong that they probably just crumble. "Okay."
Beel carefully covers the whole cake and I place the various tiny and fragile decorations on top of it.
"There we go. What do you think? Does it look good?" You are pretty proud of yourself, but it's most important to you that Belphie will like it.
"It looks great. I couldn't have done it without you." Beel beams with happiness and pride. He pats you on the head.
You blush.
"That was because you deserve some head pats." Beel uses your words. It's pretty embarrassing to hear it from him.
"Thank you." You aren't sure what else to say.
"Hold on, you got some chocolate there." Beel eyes your face and then uses his finger to clean your cheek. He then licks his finger. "Delicious."
You blush even more from that statement.
The timer for the muffins saves you.
They honestly look and smell great.
"They are amazing! This was a great idea." Beel looks with a lot of pride at the muffins.
"I have to agree. Do you want to decorate them too?" You look at the load of muffins that you made.
"I will coat them in chocolate. Maybe one decoration each? Just leave two without." Beel has a plan.
"Sure, but what about the leftover two?" You don't mind at all.
"I've got a plan for these." Beel doesn't say anything else.
You don't mind it, it's making you curious if anything.
So you decorate the muffins and Beel does something with the extra muffins behind you.
You have to work hard to not peek.
Once you are done Beel comes up to you, hands behind his back.
"I made something for you." Beel then sheepishly hands you two very nicely decorated muffins. They each seem to represent one of the twins.
It makes you smile. "Aww, that's so sweet of you Beel. Thank you so much."
"I'm glad you like it." Beel smiles brightly.
You take the muffins and decide to follow up on something you wanted to do earlier.
"Could you bend down for me?" You ask with a smile.
"Have I more flour in my hair?" He ruffles his hair.
"No, just do it." You shake your head.
Beel then shrugs and bends down.
You smile at him and give him a light kiss on the lips.
Beel blushes, he didn't expect that at all.
"That one was because you are so awesome." You give him a big smile.
Beel blushes. "Thank you."
The day of the party arrives and Beel presents the cake and muffins to Belphie.
He is very happy about all the effort that Beel put into it.
"Wow, that's the best cake ever." Belphie loves all the work and love that was put into this.
"Thank you but they helped me a lot." Beel looks at you. "It would've been impossible without them."
"That's sweet of you to say, but you did the most work. I'm just glad that Belphie likes it." This is a bit embarrassing to hear.
"I love it. Thank you both."Belphie beams at both of you. It is a full success.
