What, if anything, would drive your ocs to becoming a villain?

Oooh I love this question!

So for Morgan, I actually have a whole RF!Morgan concept floating around (see tags). Details of it are TBD, but it basically involves Morgan becoming a speedster and Eowells grooming her to be...essentially his executioner, for lack of a better word. Since this is from the start of s1, she never gets close to Barry, and Eowells systematically chips away at her friendships with Caitlin, Cisco, and Iris. Thus, by the time s1 ends, Morgan is essentially pushed out of Team Flash.

However, this isn't what pushes her to villainy. What does that would be the death of someone who grows to care about her and even puts her safety above his own goals (won't say who because spoilers, but it's someone unexpected 😂).

(The reason it wouldn't be Tina is because Eowells would likely kill her off during s1, and Morgan killing Eowells (partly in retaliation, partly to protect Team Flash when she learns the truth about him) doesn't make her a full-tilt villain yet. It just sets off a chain of events that will eventually result in her becoming one)

Now Lucy...she'd have to be turned by Luke. There's already a precedent for him using history and her ideals against her to make a point—if he were a Sith, he could do that even more. It would take a lot to wear her down, considering all she knows about the Sith...but it's Luke. He knows his sister like he knows his own mind. It would work eventually.

(Still, when it comes to Lucy, I prefer the angst of Luke turning to the Dark Side and Lucy battling her every temptation to try and save him, even if it’s in vain).

Reyna's is fun to think about because of how much it mirrors what Cisco's could be. Now ofc, she doesn't meet her evil doppelgänger like Cisco does...but maybe she does eventually come to realize that these powers she's feared all her life (an unfortunate consequence of needing to suppress her powers from an early age in a world where metas are illegal) are insanely powerful and she can control them.

So maybe she learns how to do it...and she sees other Earths. She sees all the good, all the bad...and she becomes obsessed with fixing things, making them the way they should be...especially for Nora's sake. All of it is for her loved ones, see, and especially Nora. Nora, who's the only one who could pull her back to reality...unless Reyna mentions an Earth, a timeline, a reality where Barry survives Crisis 👀

For Amelia, it would likely be her putting on the Doc Ock arms to save her adoptive father from that fate, knowing from NWH what Otto Octavius's fate is 🥺 then she's corrupted by the inhibitor. It could also result in a very angsty Amelia vs Peter fight, wherein Peter is begging his now-twin sister to remember who she is, while Amelia (who, ofc, doesn't know who Peter Parker is or that Spidey is him) attacks him.

Other Arthur-adjacent characters will be mentioned, and there will be a very small cameo of two of them. However, there won't be other characters actively participating because what happens between Tina and Arthur is extremely private — especially from Tina's side. She doesn't want to make her, uh, situationship known for fear of being judged harshly for crossing boundaries of political friendship. By private, I mean out of sight from other people of their kind; being seen by regular humans who don't recognize them is alright.

Arthur respects her wishes for privacy, but some of his closest people might suspect or know what's really going on. If asked about it, he won't deny or confirm the relationship, but his men know not to meddle in his personal business anyway

Some deep thoughts about Newtina in Secrets of Dumbledore (Part 3)

1. Foreshadow of Tina (MACUSA) as "permanent residence" of Newt's case (heart) beside his beasts

Back then, there's this merch design from FB1:

It's Newt's case with beasts symbols, ans somehow there's MACUSA logo on it too

Turn out, it is foreshadow:

Technically now Tina (MACUSA) is one of "permanent resident" of Newt's case beside his creatures

Tina is Newt's most "precious creature" and now become part of his case (heart) 🥺

Back then, Newt's house concept why it's mess if compared to Goldstein's apartment is because his house is not his "real world". His real world is on basement

Now, seems like Newt's house tidier than before. The place where Newt collect all things related to New York on his house also more arranged

This change on his house is like showing Newt's character development.

House: private world; but more mess, and considered as "outside world"

Basement: job place; but more arranged, and considered as "inner world"

Now Newt was open to "outside world" and try taking care himself more (his "private world")

He was like more open to "outside world" more than before, more than just in basement (his "inner real world"). To his love (Tina), to brother (Theseus), and friendship (Jacob)

In bakery scene, when Newt gives compliment to her hair, she kinda give auto "No" first 🤣 it legit showing her little tsundere-ness 🤣

It's clearly she's rarely get attention/compliment on her apperance and auto say "no". But when she realise Newt give attention to her hair and even compliment it, she immediately correcting it ❤🥺

It show how Tina is less tsundere now (at least to Newt) and appreciate that compliment from Newt 🥺❤

Newt's body posture usually always bent down his body to "hides" himself

But in bakery scene when Newt met Tina, his posture really straight, unlike usual

Ahhhhh!! Pom! Thank you so much for giving me another ask 🥺❣️

I actually haven't thought about this as much as I would like to, so I only have a few, but here we go:

--I heard on Discord about someone shipping Gene and Sasha?? And that's such a rare pair that it really, really intrigues me. The potential is actually insanely good the more I think about it. The enemies-to-lovers dynamic they would have, and Sasha probably becoming a better person because of Gene is actually immaculate 🤌🏼

--@dianadeadwing also made art about Tina and Susmita together, and while I haven't really thought about them together, I think the potential is honestly pretty cute. Just a wholesome lil' side ship. I don't necessarily ship it too much, though, because I actually really enjoy Henry and Susmita.

--I don't know if this can be counted as obscure because now it's more popular (I think) but Mr. Frond and Mr. Ambrose together actually make me insane. I ship them so flipping hard now. Their dynamic is everything to me--god, their banter is hilarious. We already got a tiny bit of groundwork in canon in episodes such as A Few 'Gurt Men, but these two haven't really interacted much, so the dynamic that talented fans have given them has been such a joy to discover.

--@dianadeadwing has also made the most adorable art of Gene and Peter Pescadero, and they have potential as just a wholesome lil' side ship like Tina and Susmita. I like Alex, but I think we should get more of Gene and Peter because they have a lot of potential even as just friends. I think Gene having another music-loving person to hang out with would be really cute :3

--Some people have also shipped Louise with Jessica before, and I also think that ship has some potential to be really wholesome, especially because I really enjoyed their blossoming friendship in the slumber party episode. I don't really ship it that much, only because I haven't thought about it that much, but I'll always love a good friends-to-lovers ship.

--This ship isn't exactly obscure, but I just wanted to say Gene and my OC, Alexis, because now that I've fleshed out Alexis as a character and been drawing them and Gene more, I'm becoming way too obsessed with this ship I created and am really annoying about mentioning these two at any given moment 😭 This probably sounds super narcissistic, but if there was a ship on this list that's my favorite and a Gene ship I want to make canon the most, it would be Gene and Alexis. It's still kind of crazy to me that the only canon Gene ship we've gotten is Gene and Courtney. Don't get me wrong, they were cute, but that's just really funny to me.

--Bonus: I have to mention Barryl because you asked me this!! I literally never thought of them ever being a couple until you started making content about them, and now, all of a sudden, I'm just 🥺 for these two

i second the anon that said watch the ring light stream. i’ve always seen that there was something between tina and foolish, but i always thought it was just a very strong mutual platonic respect and comfortableness that each of them feel for each other, but it looks like it’s slowly turning into something more. i don’t think they’re dating or anything, but i mean it’s obvious they feel some type of way for each other. anyone with eyes can see it, it’s like they’re slowly blurring the lines between friendship and something more. whatever it is, they’re adorable and it’s clear they mean so much to each other. tina has also implied quite a few times recently (like on the women in gaming panel) that foolish is her safe space and the person she goes to when she is upset. i hope they are able to work out whatever it is and continue to be each other’s person <3

oh yes definitely 🥺 they are so important to each other and have so much genuine respect for each other... I adore them so much and you have no idea how much I root for them. for their happiness.

because sadly if they will ever decide to make anything about whatever is between them public, it's going to be really hard. for Tina mostly. because it's so unfair that women are treated as extensions of men when they are dating them. so I need you. all of you. to no matter what happens be very supportive to Tina and always always treat her as her own person

x this is where was floating around that tina and foolish went it looks gorgeous and the perfect brunch place. like they arent dating but they are in the stage of friendship that is more of a something-ship than it is just two friends hanging out. the way they talked about the places they went and the meals they had together it was like they were sharing everything, she was ordering for him based on what she thought he would like, they seemed to sit together at every meal whether they were alone or with a group. also its so lovely that he just sits and talks with her and listens to her stories like she was on stream for almost two hours the other day even when karl came in and tried to pull foolish away and start games foolish was like fuck off im busy

"Aw, you’re just adorbs, Siri,” you cooed as you looked over at the dark haired boy sitting beside you on the field. “I missed you so, so much this break,” you continued as you put a hand to his cheek.

Sirius sneaked a glance at Marlene, sitting a few feet away; she looked over curiously. Spotting this, Sirius met your eyes and replied loudly, “me too, babe.” Marlene narrowed her eyes and Sirius grinned.

You resisted the urge to your eyes and instead smiled back at him, trying to channel the look of a young girl madly in love.

Just think of the 10 galleons he owes you -- yep, just think of how many sugar quill you’ll be able to buy, you silently thought to yourself. Oh Godric, it’s no use, why’d I agree to this anyway!” you cursed yourself.

Thankfully, Marlene had looked away and didn’t catch this slip in your facade. You breathed a sigh of relief.

Somehow, Sirius had convinced you to fake date him in an attempt to make McKinnon jealous. You had flat-out refused at first, but he whittled you down slowly, and you finally caved when he had offered the bribe. Now, though? You were regretting that decision more than ever -- you simply didn’t feel anything more than platonic love for him, and it was becoming increasingly difficult for you to keep this up.

Sirius seemed to have noticed this, because he leaned over to block you from Marlene’s point of view. “Just one more month, Y/N,” he pleaded. And how could you refuse that good ol’ Black charm?

“Godric, alright alright, you git, but not a minute more” you relented.

Over on the other side of the field, James scowled at the scene.

“Don’t you think they’re taking it a bit far?” He remarked to Remus. “They might as well make it official at this point.”

Remus cocked an eyebrow. “Jealous?”

“No! No! I just think it’s a tad bit over the top, you know. Don’t want them catching real feelings -- because then they’ll ruin their friendship, y’know? And then it’s going to be quite awkward for the both of us.” James hastily counters. “You ought to be worried too, Moony!!”

“Mhm,” Remus assented, utterly unconvinced. “James, they’re faking it. And you know that better than anyone. So stop your moping and enjoy the weather.” With that, he turned back to his book.

James scoffed but nodded his head.

“Y/N! I reckon it’s working!” Sirius was positively bursting with excitement. “Today in Potions, she asked me to be her partner, and then gave me a look, y’know? Just like this,” he demonstrated, adding a cool wink as he glanced at you. You rolled your eyes but felt a twitch at your lips.

“Well, good, because Godric knows I can’t keep this up for much longer,” you replied, giggling at the fake frown on Sirius’ face.

You spun around to head to your class, and bumped right into James, who had been headed your way the moment he saw you and Sirius alone.

“Might wanna get a pair of glasses yourself, Y/N/N” the boy teased. “Don’t want to be knocking into chaps left and right, do we?”

“Oh clamp it, you toad,” you retorted, but smiled at him nonetheless. “Walk me to class, you’ve got Minnie too, don’t even try to deny it!”

“Your wish is my command, m’lady, I would never dream of deceiving you,” James joked, and linked his elbow with yours. To your horror, he started to skip, and of course, dragged you along for the ride.

“I take it back, let go of me you idiot!” You urged, but to no avail, and to be honest, you liked the feel of James’ arm in yours.

You whipped your head around to stutter a quick goodbye to Sirius, but saw that he was laughing. You scowled and gave him the finger.

“Aw, love, that’s not something you want to give the absolute light of your life, do you?” Sirius cackled.

You glared at him, missing the frown James had donned for a second at Padfoot’s words.

It was 11pm in the Gryffindor dorms, and the three marauders were sprawled around the room: Sirius and James on their beds, Remus at a desk.

“So, Pads, how long are you and Y/N going to keep it up?” James poked, trying to sound inconspicuous.

Remus glanced at him and sighed, but kept quiet.

“Keep what up?” Sirius replied, distracted.

“Dating -- I mean, fake dating,” James replied.

“Oh that! Well, til McKinnon likes me back I s’pose,” he shrugged, “shouldn’t be long now.”

James glared at him. “I don’t think you’re being fair to Y/N, using her to get to Marlene like this. Have you even thought about how she feels?” he sniped.

Sirius blinked, surprised at his friend’s outburst. “Woah, Prongs, you know it’s fake. Y/N doesn’t feel anything for me and neither do I. She knows what she signed up for.”

“Well, what if her feelings have changed?! What if you’re leading her on and she gets hurt and all you care about is Marlene?!” James didn’t even bother trying to hide his anger this time, and Remus looked up from his homework with concern.

Sirius was shocked. He couldn’t understand why his best friend was acting so aggressive, so irrational, so in love! “Prongs! Wait a damn minute. You like her! You like Y/N!”

“Like her? He bloody loves her, you idiot.” Remus cut in, glancing purposefully at James.

James felt his face heat up as he hastily shot back, “What’s love got to do with it? Y/N is one of my best friends, I’m just looking out for her!”

“Looking our for her, my ass.” Sirius smirked. “How did I not notice? All those times your smile disappeared when we were acting it out!”

Remus smirked and added, “Go for it mate, she likes you too.”

At this, James dropped his front and looked at the werewolf in awe. “Really? You really think so? How -- how do you know? I don’t wanna ruin our friendship though! I- oh god what do I do?!”

“Must I tell you everything,” Remus rolled his eyes. “You sneak glances at each other alllll the time! It’s frustrating to watch. Just ask her out to Hogsmeade already and put me out of my suffering.”

you’re definitely not alone tina❤️ I know it’s not the same but i recently have lost basically all of my friends besides one that is starting to drift away from me and it’s hard not to blame myself for that. sometimes it takes a while to find the people that will be with us forever, whether that be a few people or a whole bunch. there are so many people that love you on here whether you know it or not, and of course I’m one of them:) online friendships are especially hard to make so don’t be so hard on yourself. Samir is mixed race, his Rebecca’s family hailing from Morocco and his Rook being a white man (I like to picture that he was a ginger).

Samir is just a really sweet dude. Just an absolute cinnamon bun of a man. An entire sweetheart. He is very kind, gentle, thoughtful, and friendly. He is selfless to a fault which has absolutely never backfired on him at all. Ever. He likes to help people, it’s even the reason he joined the police, and is constantly worried over his loved ones so he tends to put himself last. (Is the more self-destructive tendency of his kindness a manifestation of spending a childhood trying to be “the perfect kid” to his overworked and largely absent mother? Mayhap.)

Samir and Rebecca do get along very well all things considered! Even if he took the truth about supernaturals, um, bad he loves his mother dearly and despite not knowing Rook he also deeply misses him and wish he could’ve met him. He dated Bobby in college which, well, didn’t really work out. He and Tina were instant friends the second they were partnered up and Verda was very quickly adopted when he joined. He did not let either of them find out the truth about supernaturals, even if he doesn’t think hiding the truth is a smart idea on the Agency’s part he wants to protect them. He also has a soft spot for Douglas, even if he kinda sucks at his job.

He is also a huge NERD who likes video games, tabletop games, and fantasy books and movies. He also likes to take care of plants and his apartment is full of them (he has the bright style apartment). He also likes to dance, both in a fun way and a perforative way (I like to imagine he used to teach a small dance class before he became Detective). He is fluent in languages, growing up speaking English and Arabic then picked up other languages as he grew older.

Samir’s best friend in UB is Nate and they are pretty much two sweet peas in a pod. They are tooth-rotteningly sweet it’s ridiculous. He and Adam are slowly developing a respect and friendship as well, even if things were very tense at first. He and Felix get along very well and were very fast friends!

And then... there’s Mason. Samir realized pretty quickly that he was developing feelings for Mason even back in Book 1. As a person who tends to bit his own tongue in order to appease others there’s something about Mason’s blunt and unapologetic ways that Samir is kind of into... he also kind of found Mason’s blunt honestly a little refreshing after dating Bobby at first. They did end up sleeping together in Book 2 after the maa-alused attack (and after he might’ve, sorta, kinda kissed Bobby a little.. BUT NOT ON PURPOSE IT HAD BEEN A LONG NIGHT) but waking up in an empty bed the next morning... yeah, Samir wasn’t super up to sex again after that. Going into Book 3 hes mostly confused with Mason. He knows he has feelings for Mason but Mason’s feelings are a bit harder to get a grasp on. Samir has actually set, *gasp*, a healthy boundary that he isn’t interested in anymore sex unless it means something. So... we shall see how that goes.
