After the hospital bombing, I finally heard back from my grandmother and confirmed that several of my relatives were murdered by Israeli bombing. Seven of them, to be precise. Three are still going, including her. We've been talking constantly ever since.
Asked if it was possible to head south, and was told they did but were also bombed there. So they decided to go back home, in Zeitoun. Their home was bombed and they were pulled out of the rumble, then driven by ambulances to the al-Ahli Arab Hospital. There were people in every corner. Gazans sheltering, sleeping on the floor. Gazans dying on the floor, waiting for beds.
Four were declared dead on arrival, three were in need of surgery and other three were just bandaged. Then, a bomb was dropped in the parking lot that made parts of the ceiling collapse, like Dr. Ghassan Abu Sittah reported in that horrific conference/interview. Those in need of surgery died.
By the way, just in case you didn't know: the Church of Saint Porphyrius, the third oldest in history, bombed by Israel a few days back, was located near the hospital.
When looking for new shelter, they saw schools with signs hanging outside, "We can't take any more families." They met families, sympathetic but already sheltering too many people. They're now staying in an apartment building they found empty. Sleeping in the corner of the living room. If the family comes back, they'll apologize and leave.
Told me she was saving her phone battery for when the bombing stopped, and she had to ask for help to rebuilt the neighborhood. But she doesn't think it's gonna stop anymore. The ones still with her are mute most of the time, like they're saving energy, but she feels lonely and wanted to talk. There's no internet and to connect to WhatsApp, people are buying "a card from the supermarket, there's a password and username." Not sure what she meant. Still, the internet is inconsistent and won't load neither videos or images nor pages, so she doesn't know what's happening on the outside world.
Told her there were a lot of people protesting to stop the genocide, she replied, "The bombings are getting worse by the day." The bombing yesterday was the worst she ever witnessed. The entire neighborhood is infested with the smell of death, of decomposing bodies. Bodies are piling up in the streets and she's not sure if it's because they ran out of places to store them, but most of them are in bags. The smoke of the bombings hide the blue sky鈥攕he hasn't seen the clouds for a while.
Asked if I could share their pictures, names and dreams with people and was told, of which I partly agree, "they're not entertainment." If anyone genuinely cared, they would be alive鈥擨'd argue there are people who do care, but I'm not gonna lecture her pain. And they don't deserve to be used to fulfill someone's sick fantasy. Told me to remember what some Israelis do with pictures of dead Palestinians. And I do.
For those of you who are not familiar, many times before settlers got together to celebrate the murder of Palestinians. For one, in 2015, Israeli settlers set a house in Duma, West Bank on fire. An 18-month old baby, Ali Dawbsheh, was burnt alive. Both parents later died of wounds and only a 5-year-old, Ahmad, survived, although severely injured.
Two celebrations of their murder are widely known, one at a wedding and others outside the court in which two were indicted for the terrorist attack. In the wedding, guests stabbed a photo of the toddler, Ali, while others waved guns, knives and Molotov cocktails. Israel's Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, was present.
That's what happens in an apartheid. Palestinians are so abused by authorities that their "innocent civilians" come to accept the brutality as necessary or are desensitized by our suffering. After all, it's been 75 years鈥攇et used to it!
So I won't risk the image of my loved ones, in fear they are used in these kinds of depravity. I will say, though, the world lost a young footballer. Lost a female writer and an aspiring ballerina. Lost a kind father, who was also a great cook, and a loving mother that enjoyed sewing and other types of handicraft art. Lost a math teacher and a child that wanted to become one.
Tumblr media
People think Israel is testing new weapons on them. There's civilians arriving at the hospital with severe burns, which they thought was from white phosphorus, but apparently the pattern is different from the one caused by white phosphorus. It's widely believed Israel tests weapons in Palestinians.
Jeff Halper, author of War Against the People, a book on Israel's arms and surveillance technology industries, said: "Israel has kept the occupation because it's a laboratory for weapons."
They've ran out of drinkable water and the "aid" Biden sent was only for the South of Gaza and no fuel, for hospitals, was allowed in. Many shelves in the supermarket are empty. She said many are convinced that if they don't die from the bombing, they'll die from starvation or dehydration, or whatever disease will develop from the dirty water they're drinking.
Told me all people do now is pray, cry and die. Told me she hopes West Bank is spared. Told her Israel bombed a mosque in West Bank and dozens of Palestinians in West Bank are being murdered by settlers, so she bided me goodbye.

a call to action for everyone who is passionate about palestine:
i have no idea who this message is going to reach, but for the little time i am on this platform, i will amplify the importance of partaking in raising awareness for the palestinian cause.
since i haven't been on here for a long time, i was honestly shocked to return to a ton of informative posts, reblogged in high numbers by my mutuals, on what is happening in palestine.
this current movement on social media, the fact that people across generations are, slowly but surely, waking up to the 76 years of torment, land theft, occupation and genocide the palestinian people are subjected to, has never happened before.
it was about damn time.
everyone, let it be a die heart zionist, a willingly ignorant person or the "people" that are in charge and have all the buttons below their fingertips that could get them to put an end to all of this-
they are never ever going to stop at making you feel insignificant. they are going to downplay your efforts as an activist. they are going to make you question your integrity. they are going to bring up seemingly unrelated issues, in a deplorable effort to make you feel like the "load" that we, as activists and people that are trying to raise awareness about palestine, carry is too much of a burden, to keep going.
they'll tell you things like:
"what is my contribution going to change? we're all doomed to die anyways with how things are going"
"what could a singular dollar/ euro, that i spend, possibly do to support israel? i don't wanna miss out on (xyz item)"
"well if you're so adamant about saving the world, then why don't you go to gaza yourself?"
"yeah right, if that's the case then i would have to also care about (xyz historically oppressed group of people) and i would have to do this, this and that to raise awareness on (xyz historically oppressed group)"
never ever let these individuals in. never ever let them see you doubting your own self or your efforts as an activist.
when i tell you that standing on business has never been more crucial, you can take my word for it.
as someone who, due to the communities i belong to, has practically grown up defending this cause, i can tell you that the tides have not once started to turn the slightest bit in favor for the palestinian cause in the publics perception. most especially in the west.
now is the time to get up on our feet and make room for palestinian voices, not the seeds of doubt planted by zionists.
anyone that still genuinely believes that one, they can't do anything to bring about any change
two, believes there is any legitimacy in the existence of an "israeli state",
or three, denounces and dares to critique the forms of resistance coming from the oppressed palestinians, after five whole months of the ongoing israeli operation to annihilate them to move closer to the achievement of the "greater israel" project, is immediately disqualified in any discussions on the palestinian fight for freedom.
don't ever give your time to zionist apologists or people that try to infiltrate the pro watermelon movement, in order to gain an outlet, in which they can voice their sympathy for core ideas of the zionist movement (a right to israels existence, pseudo self defense argument, pseudo the people are not the state argument, pseudo not all israelis are settlers argument) without further notice.
now is the time of focus. partake in all the activities you can. do your part. do what is achievable.
palestinians, whether it be in the diaspora or on the ground in gaza and the west bank, don't have time for our inconsistencies.
try to control your spending habits as much as you can, try to control the pop culture (tv, music, film) you consume as much as you can. that is the very least we can do.
also, a teeny tiny, but crucial note, we all need to internalize is the fact that we need to decenter ourselves from the end goal, which is the liberation of palestine and land back to the palestinian people.
the people that are going to free palestine aren't us.
palestinians are going to free palestine. the palestinian resistance is going to free palestine.
our obligation is to facilitate that to happen. we partake in the bds boycott, put pressure on representatives of our countries and take to the streets and social media to make the voices of palestine heard.
looking inward and coming to that realization is utmost important for us as non palestinians to know our place in the bigger picture, so we can move on, organize and operate from there.
by no means am i a representative of this cause. but i am human. so i hope that you could all take something from my message.
from the river to the see, palestine will be free!!!

I'm watching the State of the Union and I'm reminded why no matter what, we won't have justice as long as we have representative democracy. Biden just claimed "I will not rest until we rescue all the hostages held by Gaza" and then realized it was bad press to not be against the Palestinian genocide and then immediately started stating he wanted a ceasefire and wanted innocent Palestinians to be protected, and THEN stated he sided with Israel.
Typical politician... Just say the words people want to hear about the issues they care about just to get votes so you can stay in power. Politicians don't, won't, and never will care about what we want except for how it relates to them.
As long as we let them have power over us, we will never have power over what atrocities they will support and enable, both on our own land, and all over the world. The US government won't stop destroying the environment and keeping us in poverty if we ask them politely to stop. They won't dismantle a police system built on favoring police officers and the incarceration and execution of innocent people, they won't give stolen land back, they won't completely outlaw slavery or dismantle the numerous eugenics laws towards disabled people that still exist. They won't be against genocide, even when it's actively happening.
And even if they do, it'll be a means to an end. It'll be a distraction. They'll just be dangling it in front of our faces saying "Look! We did what you wanted! We're on your side! We totally care about social justice!"
Although I dont want to, I'm voting for Biden just so Trump doesn't become president. But mark my words, whats stopping the next democratic president from doing stuff like Joe Biden did? Lying to us about caring about justice, just saying what we want to hear? And even if we vote, say, a socialist president, whats stopping them from doing the same thing?
I dont know what we do about this, but when the time comes, we need to organize on a large scale and do SOMETHING. I dont know what or how, but we need to change something, and not be okay with system where people in power make the big choices for us, and we just hope they do what we want with not a care in the world about injustice.

The Jews weren't the first natives in that region. The Canaanites were there before the Jews showed up to violently erase them from existence for the terrible crime of not being of Yahweh's choosen people. All Jews know this. It is literally in the fucking book. You know this.
Don't lie in order to defend the idea that Israel is a thing that absolutely must exist. It's fine that you believe that idea, but what's getting irksome is this underlying insistence that "Israel must exist" is an obvious conclusion to the region's problems and anyone who has a modicum of moral fiber in their soul can clearly see that. Your religion isn't true to the people who aren't you. I do not recognize the Jews as a chosen, special sort of people and I shouldn't be expected to. And, yes, I can tell when it's expected because they'll get annoyed when I mention the Canaanites. Yeah, I've seen the eye-rolls, the "history's a complex mess so I'm justified in picking and choosing what events humanity should give a shit about based on how recent they are and how much the directly affect MY culture" bullshit, the accusations of antisemitism despite the fact that I would be completely fine with the existence of Israel if the people who made it didn't, well, slaughter the families of Canaanites in order to do so. Also, Israel isn't a person or a type of person, it's a state, it's completely fine to hate and isn't synonymous with hating Jews. If you think that it is, I'm going to remind you that people who aren't Jewish exist and they don't need to necessarily have the values Jews want them to in order to good people.
If the foundation of your state is built on moving into land that isn't yours and erasing the people that your god doesn't want there, it's completely reasonable to expect that other states might just return that favor in kind. After all, you set the precedent, right? And then constantly referred to it in your holy texts like it was the best, most necessary thing that ever needed to happen. That kind of zeal certainly won't spread.
Oh boy, I'm going to say it. I think that all of the states that have ever engaged in and justified (I'm going to say it) genocidal behavior aren't really... y'know worth defending? Worth giving a shit about? And yeah, saying "God needed us to do it! We are the chosen people! HOLY LAND!" is a shitty justification. Objectively shitty. Jewish people aren't the chosen people to anyone else besides other Jewish people. Nothing really wrong with that, but... nothing really that right with it either. It kinda cancels itself out.
Long ask, I know. Whatever. Stop lying. The Canaanites were there before the Jews. The Jews killed them all then called the land they stole from them "Israel". See? There are perfectly good reasons to hate Israel that have nothing to do with Palestine.
C'mon, the Americas had fucking slavery. England tried to take over the world. Hell, Germany tried to kill all of you! Israel is another shitty place. It isn't special.
I vow to ignore Israel from now on, achieving everlasting peace and making the entire Middle East envious of me.
Oh, and to be absolutely clear in the most awkward manner possible, I don't hate the Jews. I just find their bullshit to be really fucking annoying.
If the Jews killed them all, how is it that their DNA is still dominant in modern day Jews (plus Palestinians and other populations of Levant)?
The truth is that both Jews and Palestinians were part of the same people at some point in time, who also mixed with Canaanites and settled in the region that is modern day Israel+Levant. And Canaanites' ancestors had actually arrived in that region from further East.
So by your logic, then, even the Canaanites weren't the natives of that land.
(There may have been tribal wars, as was common in that era, but it's pretty clear that no one wiped out anyone.)
We can keep going back in time to disprove the indigeneity of people till we arrive in Africa. Which is kind of moronic, TBH.
Personally, I'm not denying the indigeneity of either Jews or Palestinians. Only you are trying to justify your hatred for Jews and denying that they have a right to live in their homeland. Just by saying that you don't hate Jews doesn't veil your anti-semitism.
Both Jews and Palestinians deserve to live there. A two state solution is one way for it. Terrorism by Hamas isn't.
Furthermore, if you know your history (which I'm having doubts about), you know that Jews were persecuted and driven out of almost all the countries and kingdoms they had moved to over the centuries. There were Jews in the Middle Eastern countries, African countries, Europe, etc.. Tell me what happened to them. If you can't, you don't understand why Jews wanted a country of their own, in their native homeland.
With the exception of India, they were either killed, forcefully converted, or driven out of these countries at some point in time. The Holocaust is just one such instance over the centuries, and it was a big deal. The present day rising anti-semitism only strengthens their belief that they're never fully accepted in other places. Hence their need for self determination and separate state of their own (which they already have, btw).
Also, I know you didn't bother to check before coming in my inbox to spew venom, but I'm not Jewish. I'm not even from that region. But I understand what it means to have a history that's full of massacres and genocide of my people.
Plus, I'm someone who likes to stay informed, someone who's against anti-semitism. I don't need to be a Jew to understand where they're coming from.

My new "favorite" kind of post: dumbass berating people for not being neutral on the Israel and Palestine thing. Like, my guy:
1 - One side is literally commiting genocide against the other. Hamas being terrible doesn't excuse Israel attacking civilians, kicking them out of their homes, kidnapign them, bombing hospitals, making human zoos, and then saying they'll not stop until all palestinians are dead.
2 - Literally EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE POSTS also get mad at people for wanting a complete ceasefire - not even wanting to free Palestine, just "stop murdering children and violating every human right imaginable". If you can only accept unconditional support of all of Israel's bullshit, you're not "neutral", you're just using "we should all be neutral" as an excuse to bully people into shutting up because there's no argument in the whole world that justifies what the side you're supporting is doing.

I cannot fathom how we're this far into the genocide happening and there's still no sign of a ceasefire. The fact that Netanyahu can state things like "the Hague cannot stop us" is so incredulous that I would've laughed if this wasn't a sign of how utterly nonchalant Western countries are about an entire group of people being murdered for simply existing.
How much longer before countries with international influence start intervening? Is the presence of Palestinians that much of a threat to the Western world? Genuinely, what have these people done, what have children, infants, new borns done to warrant their mass murder?
I simply cannot understand how people can be so inhumane. It's actually so sickening that the people in power, the people who have control over our lives are Satan incarnate.
I have no doubt that justice will be granted to the people of Palestine, but I cannot think of the pain they will feel when they are finally allowed to grieve. When they'll look around them in peace for the first time and see the destruction of their homes.
Just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean you can remain ignorant or treat this movement like some sort of trend. If you feel tired about hearing and reading news regarding what's currently happening, then imagine the fatigue that Palestinians and the diaspora feel. This has been going on for three quarters of a century and still they are being denied.
Please do not stop talking about Palestine and please do not think that your help and solidarity is some sort of "gift" that people need to appreciate. The reality is that most of us have been silent or ignorant for far too long to even think along those lines. What is happening in Palestine is a test on our humanity and by God, is it us who owe them for only awakening to this issue now.
We cannot stop now, not until a ceasefire is officially called, not until Palestine is finally free, not until Israel is charged for their crimes against humanity. If Palestinians can wake up everyday of their lives not knowing whether they'll live or die, then we can wake up everyday and remind ourselves and others that liberation for the Palestinians is required.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!

I keep seeing posts from people in the US debating whether to vote for Biden in their upcoming elections to stop Trump from winning again or to punish the democrats for aiding Israel in the genocide of Palestine.
I'm argentinian and as far as I'm concerned, you should vote for whichever candidate you think will benefit you more, because you're from the US and that's all it's good for. The rest of the world will continue to suffer at your hands no matter what. Let me explain.
Democrats and republicans are not a representation of left and right wing politics: both parties are on the right side of the spectrum, only the GOP is more honest about it.
Republicans, as right wing parties do, run on promises of austerity, reducing taxes and being tough on crime. Democrats run promising to use tax money to ease your life: affordable healthcare, education and housing, all guaranteed so you can live the life of a first world citizen.
And then, they don't deliver.
You still have school shootings, massive incarceration, corruption in all levels of government, and the poorest pay a higher proportion of taxes than the richest. Healthcare, education and housing are extremely expensive and often require people to get into heavy debt to afford to have their most basic needs met, and that's only possible if you have good credit.
It's a reductive analysis for the sake of brevity, but you get the gist. The point is that having you be poor and afraid is the goal: it's a feature, not a bug.
You want to go to college? You need to buy a house? You want to start a family? Well, the military complex needs bodies! The US has far too many enemies to their way of life, so they'll need people to defend it! In exchange, they'll "guarantee" just enough money that you won't be destitute.
The US spends the most amount of money on their military in the world, by a long shot. To justify spending that kind of money, you HAVE to have wars. To have wars, you need enemies.
So, you get propaganda. "Muslims are extremists and hate our way of life." "Latin americans want to come to our country and steal our jobs." "China and Russia are communist countries that are waiting to destroy us." And you gobble it up.
You love it so much. It's in your news, in your videogames, in your movies and TV series and comic books. So, when they ask you to fight, you go running! You'll get some money out of it and you'll get to live your life the way you were promised. Sure, PTSD from the horrors is a given, but there's pills for that! And award winning movies about how difficult it is to go to war! It's all covered.
So the small, poor countries that you invade lose their money, natural resources, and their sovereignty but HEY, you brought democracy there! And the US is protected from this many enemies! Mission accomplished, right?
Well, as a citizen of a third world country whose current president is an insane pawn of the GOP, I'd like to say fuck you. He was placed so that the US could take our recently discovered lithium, and you'll get it. Enjoy your shitty iPhone 5000 I guess. It'll come at the small price of the hunger of my countrymen, but since Twitter user dan91883719 says argentinians all descend from escaped nazis, I guess it's alright.
Israel has killed Palestinians and illegally expanded its borders for over 70 years. Both democrats and republicans have sent aid and weapons to make this possible. It's in the US best interests to have conflict in the Middle East and have an ally control the area. Israel is a feature, not a bug.
And those of you who vote blue? You're trapped. Even if you know it's shit, you're unable to organize. Instead of rallying to form a new party, or a at least get a better candidate, you keep voting bad instead of worse and pat yourselves on the back for a job well done. Democrats are well aware of this and that's why they run on platforms that promise to make your life better and then sit back and say "our hands are tied" when you lose rights.
So, if you're still doubting it, vote for whoever the fuck you want. The war machine that you call 'country' won't stop no matter who's president, because those who hold the real power are already getting exactly what they want from it. Your suffering as US citizens is just as planned as the suffering of those who live outside of it.
TL,DR: Vote for whichever candidate you feel will defend your interests best. Lord knows it won't make a lick of difference for the rest of the world, because both political parties have the same plans when it comes to foreign policy.

For people thinking "From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free" is a call for terrorism and extermination of israelis, it's not.
It's a call to return Palestine to the Palestinian people.
It's not telling the "israelis" to leave. It's a call to return the land to Palestinian control.
Now, this is the point where people will say "but if the Palestinians are released, they'll kill all the israelis."
No. That's not what they want, and that's not historically what has happened when other groups have been freed.
Look to America. Have all white people here been murdered? Is this a country full of only Black people? We're all white people slaughtered when the enslaved people were freed?
No.
When the US rounded up all the Japanese after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, when they were released from the concentration camps, did they take revenge on everyone who locked them up?
No.
Have the North American Indigenous peoples slaughtered all of us who benefited from colonization?
No.
There are more examples, but all you have to do is look at what has happened in the US to see what would happen if the Palestinians were freed. They would still be fighting for their own safety, as Black people, Natives, and all Asians in the US continue to have to do until this day.
Wanting Palestine to be free and restored to Palestinian control is the START of securing the safety of the Palestinian people, not the end.
But they haven't gotten that start yet.
They need that start. But right now they are being subject to a genocide that is in retaliation for a terrorist attack done by a group that forcefully governs them.
Palestinian voices aren't being heard, but the rest of us coming to raise up their voices is a necessary part of making that happen.
We must all work together, Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and everyone else, to stop this genocide.
Contrary to popular belief, and what "israel" wants the world to believe, it's not antisemitic to call out "israel" for the genocide it is committing.
Rather, to fight for Palestinians is the most Jewish thing we Jews can do. Because fighting for oppressed groups is what we Jews do. Because none of us are free until all of us are free.
From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free.

Reaching for Hope
These last few months have been filled with the most horrifying stories and images coming out of Palestine, DRC, Sudan, Yemen, and too many other places around the world. We, in the US, have seen our president- our political leaders- roll over and not only allow the atrocities to continue, but to actually financially support and arm the perpetrators, despite the majority of us screaming for them to stop. To me, there is little difference between the Democrats and the Republicans at this point. Both parties are bought and paid for by the same people. As a new presidential election is coming up, I can't in good conscious vote Democrat. Not after what I've seen. Not as long as they refuse to hear us when we tell them we don't want Genocide Joe Biden or any of his cabinet to run.
But what is the solution?
I hate the feeling of helplessness I feel. I hate watching the horrors being carried out with my tax dollars. I hate that our "leaders" are more concerned with keeping the money from groups like AIPAC than actually representing the people who voted for them. They have put my finger on the trigger and they won't let me let go.
I'm trying to figure out how to make my voice heard. I've reached out to my representatives. I've done what I can to amplify voices that need to be heard more than mine. I can't claim any special effort in following BDS boycotts because the truth is, these aren't brands I have a whole lot of intentional contact with in the first place. As for Starbucks and McDonald's, I don't like either place so, cutting them off took very little for my part. I do encourage you to avoid all of these businesses, though. I don't know what else to do.
I will not vote for Joe Biden if he runs again. I will do my best to find down ballot candidates who's values are more in line with mine, but I will not give my support to a man who sees the atrocities being committed in Palestine and gives billions and weapons to the people committing these crimes against humanity. If the DNC is smart, they will be actively looking for candidates who don't openly support genocide, but let's face it, we ALL know how smart the DNC is. So, barring some drastic change, barring the DNC running a candidate who isn't on the take from AIPAC, who will actually pull support from Israel as they try to wipe out an entire culture for the sake of oil, I will be voting third party. I'm considering voting for Claudia De la Cruz of the PSL party, but there's nearly a year left, so I'm open to shopping around.
I know there are those that will say that pulling votes away from Biden is essentially voting for Trump. I know that there are those that will say that if the Republicans take the office again, they'll gut our rights. To that, I say, a vote for Trump is a vote for Trump and a vote for Biden is a vote for Biden. If the DNC can't come up with a better candidate and a better reason to vote for them than the same fear mongering tactics they've been using for years, then Trump is the DNC's fault. What has the Democratic party done to ensure our rights? What protections for voting rights have they passed at a federal level? What protections for education? For bodily autonomy? How do we have FOURTEEN BILLION to spare for freakin ISRAEL, but nothing for public schools? Nothing for student loan relief? Nothing for public health? Police reform? What good is the Democratic party if their only real platform is "Vote Democrat because we're not that guy"? If your conscious tells you to vote for Biden in November, so be it. As for me, I can't look at the man without seeing the blood of innocent men, women and children dripping off of him.

I'm angry in this one btw. real properly angry. I don't wanna talk about this because I know some of y'all are thiiiiis close to blocking me for not falling in line and being a good little jew and repeating the slogans thoughtlessly, but I'm so mad and scared and nobody cares at all and I wanna shut up about it so I don't lose all my goyische friends but I can't I just can't.
hm maybe people are being arrested because there is some violence and this is terrifying jewish students?? and I think the author of this article is way too kind to these students. they hail hamas as heroes. they don't think the innocent civilian hostages should be released for the crime of being israeli. they champion themselves as being antiracist when ANTISEMITISM IS AN ETHNIC PREJUDICE YOU DUMB FUCKING CHAZERS!!!
jews are terrified.
rabbis are telling us to stay home.
whenever there's an "assembly" on the uni I live by, I'm terrified it'll turn violent. I'm terrified they'll burn down or deface the clearly labelled building where the jewish org lives.
I stopped wearing my magen david because I'm terrified of my peers, my peers who are supposed to be inclusive and love everyone regardless of ethnicity, seeing that I'm jewish and harassing me or worse.
the average college campus is less safe for jews than it has been in decades.
the optics of your movement are shit. you're infested with jew haters, and no one seems to care!! no goy cares, because you all care more about hating israel than not hating jews. and hating israel turns into hating jews so, so quickly. I want palestine to be a free nation. I want this war to end. but none of you understand that as long as hamas exists peace cannot happen. none of you understand that if you hate israelis you're a fucking antisemite lol sorry. if you want every israeli dead, you want half the world's jews dead. if you don't think that makes you an antisemite, lemme give you another example. let's say you want all black americans dead (not all black people are american, in fact, less than half the world's black population are in america). are you racist? YES. same fucking logic here.
saw a video the other day where some dumbfuck was like "have you considered that all hamas knows is oppression and hatred? 馃ズ" THESE ARE GROWN ADULTS!! YOU RACIST FUCKING INFANTILIZING FUCKING IDIOT!! THEY ARE GROWN ADULT HUMANS AND YOU ARE TREATING THEM LIKE BABIES AND CLAIM TO BE ANTIRACIST??? if you see POC as too innocent to be bad, then you are falling for the noble savage stereotype all over again. has that stereotype historically been attributed to arab people? no. but it definitely fucking is now with the way y'all think rape and terrorism is excusable.
none of you fucking idiots see anyone involved as full humans because none of you have a goddamn piece in it. you see palestinians as innocent babies who could never rape or hurt anyone, and you see israelis as demons to be exterminated. you're racist, you're hateful, you're not helping anything, and I hope you will one day be so, so ashamed of the fear you've instilled in jews worldwide while seeing them as genociding monsters regardless of ties to israel or anything, as well as the myopic infantilizing racist way you view arab people.
and one last thing: "FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA" IS ANTISEMITIC. IT'S A SLOGAN ENDORSED BY HAMAS. IF YOU ARE CHANTING THAT OVER AND OVER AND OVER GUESS WHAT YOU'RE HAVING AN ANTISEMITIC PROTEST, SORRY. you can't reclaim that slogan, it is calling for the destruction of israel, which will lead to jewish genocide, or just a massive jewish refugee crisis if they're lucky and hamas doesn't succeed in their goal of exterminating the jews.

As a non American, the biggest thing about posts that talk about voting Biden & Democrat because of the real enough fact that if Dems are evil, Republicans are cartoonishly so, are that so rarely do these posts ever talk about that Dems are evil, so how are we stopping them from being more evil.
If theyre the necessary evil (wretched words) then either:
1. They are necessary and acceptable evil. Giving for many voters, the lynchpin issue has been USA establishment funding, enabling & even exonerating the genocide of Palestine & current Nakba, these voters make it clear this atrocity is politically acceptable and necessary to continue their political goals. No if's, and's or but's about it. They'll cry about it and express sadness and often question politicians about it, but just like Biden, they will continue to funnel votes into him. Do you really think your calculus is any different from the Democrat politicians fed on AIPAC money to win and clinging on to Israel because they fear threats from Iran & the rest of the Arab world?
2. They are evil and therefore must be stopped- even if we vote for Dems ultimately because Republicans ARE cartoonishly and effectively evil, we need to show that we are still not willing to support politicians whose main benefits are: evil but less so, and might stop Republican fascism but also maybe not.
And yet. All these pro Biden posts talk how necessary he is without the caveat of guardrails against the fascism, evil and bigotry his Democrat presidency has actively done or allowed, no word on what to do to ensure you are not just saying his politics are still good enough for a vote as is.
And all I can say is this is why all Americans need to go to hell. If this is what is deemed acceptable political calculus to the popular "left", then your whole country is cooked and should be regarded as pariahs. There is a long, long, long history of liberal whites who consider themselves moderate & leftist because they are kind to their slaves and merely cautious about the Japs and trannies.

Neutrality is just the lazy way to be an oppressor. Free Palestine 馃嚨馃嚫 there are no "both sides". There is the violent colonialist oppressor, who just cut off gaza's internet and is bombing them more than ever, and there is the oppressed, who have been trapped in gaza for the past 16 years, and suffering displacement, murder, and other injustices for the past 75. And anyone who says any bullshit like "Oh people don't know what they're talking about, they go online and suddenly they're experts on world affairs" you only need to watch the videos coming out of gaza, and then coming out of Israel. Gazans are filming in blown out buildings with explosions in the background talking about how they don't have water and they don't know if they'll make it through the night. Israelis are making dance videos or "baking gluten free bread for the soldiers" or MAKING FUN OF PALESTINIANS! I've seen countless videos of them putting scarves on and drawing unibrows and turning their water and lights on and off to make fun of the fact that Palestinians don't have those. Just watch the videos coming out of there, and you'll actually see what's going on instead of people just telling you what's going on. I'm just so sick of people acting like this is all so complicated when it's not. It's a genocide of the Palestinian people. Literally right now, there are videos barely making it out of gaza basically on fire from the number of bombs being dropped. The sky is orange. You can hear the screams. This has basically turned into a rant but I'm just so frustrated that the world knows that is going on, people are trying to stop it, but nothings happening because the governments themselves are the ones supporting this genocide. What really needs to happen is we need to protest, strike, and boycott until governments stop supporting Israel and sanction them. Money is all governments know.

Let's be fucking real here, Israel is a fucking nazi state being completely sponsored by USA with the suport of all the Europeans countries. This is all an USA's game to maintain their status as "world leader", with European countries supporting them to keep their privileges as faithfuls US followers. When Russia invaded Ukraine, they all ran to put sanctions, to condemn, just because it was all happening in European lands. Meanwhile Israel is doing the most inhumane things, like throwing white phosphorus in Gaza, which if don't know it's a chemical that won't stop burning your flesh until it gets to your bones, sometimes even past that! IT IS A GENOCIDE, HOLOCAUST ALL OVER AGAIN!!
And yet now... now all of the economic north of the world just don't give a fuck, as long as their precious white lives aren't the ones attacked.
USA can not sustain itself without war or murder of innocent lives, so it will support and keep this genocide going until they are satisfied, then they'll pretend that Isreal and them were fighting evil as they always do.

Every time that you root for "decolonization" (read: genocide and Blut und Boden race-warring), remember the fate of South Africa. A nation that went from performing the first successful human heart transplant in history, to a shambling wreck of illiteracy, endemic rape, corruption, and a regime that literally cannot stop stoking racial tensions against its white citizenry. If this is your standard for 'decolonization', I think that what you're telling the actually civilized races of the world is "Fight back, and fight til nobody stands against you, because your mercy and forbearance will be rewarded with the spiteful treachery of idiots and the brute violence of simpletons who pull down your accomplishments because they're too stupid and backwards to do otherwise." For more reading, feel free to check on the GDP per capita of Israel vis-a-vis that of its Arab neighbors, for a glimpse into what a post-Israel (read: post-genocide) Palestine will look like.
lmao I love it when the bootlicking dipshits of the world just get to the point and start rooting for fucking Apartheid south Africa of all places and throwing around words like "civilised". South Arica pre 1994 was on of the most viciously cruel and exploitative nations in the world, every on of it's (incredibly exaggerated) accomplishments built directly on an entire system of gut churning atrocity. That regime was a fucking blight on humanity to such an obvious extent that even the Imperial nations of the world couldn't bear to support it directly. And the problems South Africa has today are due to the structural of remnants of the old apartheid regime iteslf and the various indigenous reactions and adaptions to it combined with the general effects of existing in the periphery of a global system of neo-colonialism capitalism (which is also why the "Arab" countries of the world have such a low GDP compared to the European and North American Imperial core) rather than any innate moral or intellectual deficiency among the indigenous people. The fact that you're defending Israel along the same lines as South Africa is so hilariously damning. You aren't wrong in one way though; the two nations are very similar end are gonna end up going the same way. Soon they'll be nothing more than history, mourned only by the most cruel and stupid of reactionaries

Made with speech to text. There may be horrible fucking typos. Please fucking tell me if there are and I will fix it as soon as I'm able to.
Oppressors will say all men are created equal when they know for a fact that they do not in fact consider all men let alone all people equal. And then when the people they are oppressing say everyone is equal, the oppressors assume that this statement is meant to be a double language the same way they did it because they literally cannot fucking imagine the world where people are not going out of their way to violently oppress people to grab power. They've decided that the Natural Balance of the world requires atrocities and violence and have convinced themselves that this is normal so when people actually fight for equality for everyone they tell themselves that it's not really a quality it will just be a new person at the top and this time they'll be on the bottom.
"From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free", is not a call for genocide. It's the call to literally fucking stop genocide. It is a call for Palestinians to stop being oppressed in their own home.
"Black Lives Matter" does not mean everyone else is lives are worthless. Just because white supremacists say "blue lives matter" to justify cops murdering Black people does not fucking mean that the Black Lives Matter movement wants all white people to die. The Black Panther Party is not the fucking equivalent of the KKK despite what many fucking schools in the USA teach.
Landback does not fucking mean all of the white people are going to be rounded up and shipped to Europe.
Oppressed people demanding the right to not be fucking violently oppressed does not mean they are asking for the tables to be fucking turned and the roles to be reversed.
If you cannot imagine a world where people are not oppressed without assuming that this means you have to be the one being oppressed instead, you are the fucking problem. Violence is not normal. It is not the natural state of humanity. Giving up your role as violent colonial oppressor does not mean you will become the new fucking victim.
You cannot fucking scream on social media and pretend that Palestinians want to commit genocide by asking to be free when Israel is literally as I am fucking typing this and probably as you are fucking reading this literally committing genocide against Palestinians. And have been for the past several decades.
Stop fucking equating the cries of the oppressed for freedom and equality with calls for genocide against the oppressor. Just because you cannot fucking imagine existing with other people without wanting to annihilate them doesn't mean that's how the world works. You are in fact just a terrible fucking person with no fucking morals and not even the moral backbone to challenge your own shitty fucking worldviews and fight for something better.
