Have you ever ridden your horse on a misty winter morning? Alongside the sun kissed lake? I have, I do it every morning before I feed the animals we own. It's beautiful, almost straight from a book! The birds sing their songs and the squirrels dance around in the flower fields soaking up the warmth of the sun, fish come closer to the surface as deer come cross the dirt road for their morning drink. If I had such skill in painting, I would paint you a picture but that isn't why you're here, is it? Well, let me introduce myself.

I'm Y/n Bishop. You may know me because of my older sister, Kate. We live on Bishop Ranch, a short walk from the town of Blisswater. My parents Derek & Eleanor Bishop took off north for a business trip, they failed to tell us where they were going or who they'd be seeing. It's been many months since my sister and I have heard from them and with no idea where to send my written letters too, we can only assume the worst as happened…. but we hold hope that one day, soon, they will come through the gates with many stories to tell of their adventures.

While my parents are away and safe (I hope), Kate and I have had no choice but to make our own money. Kate is able to make little money for us when she goes up to Soretooth to hunt for deer, foxes, rabbits and turkeys. She has a talent for using our fathers hunting bow, she sells the meat and skin to the local butcher. If the hunt is good, he'll pay her $5.50 for that animal.

Twice a week I work at the general store, stacking shelves and making sure the store is clean while Mr Wilson handles customers and the money. It's not a lot of money but it's something, anything helps. I have a little savings set aside for if Kate and I need it on a rainy day.

Kate won't ever let me travel with her, I am to stay at the ranch and keep things up to keep. I tend to the animals and crops we grow as well as keeping the house clean for the chance of any visitors. We have sheep, cows and pigs! All of which have their own names even if my father thinks it's silly for me to name them all. We also have a dog, a golden retriever named Lucky. He lost an eye when he was with my father hunting and came across a badger! Sometimes Kate will take him to Redpeaks just right to our ranch where he can help catch rabbits or birds for dinner.

I make some money by stitching up rips and tears of peoples clothing. Mostly men are passing by and want their favorite shirts patched up. I make 20 cents to $1 depending on the size or tear. It's not great money but I have been saving it if Kate and I are ever in great need of it.

Some of my other interests include:

Painting even though I am terrible with it and barely have any paint these days!

Horse riding, as if I didn't make that already clear.

Reading! My parents always bring me back a book of any kind when they travel. My collection is small, but I love re-reading them as if I have never read them before.

Fern collecting, I know it's a little odd, but my mother loved doing it and so sometimes whenever I am out on a ride or a walk around town and I see some, I'll pick them for her.

Poker! My father has taught both Kate and I how to play, although Kate is a lot better at it than me.

Seaweed scrapbooking, it sounds weird, but you can make some really pretty pieces!

Taking long walks along Talon's Lake when the weather is kind enough to do so.

One last fact is that my father taught me how to use a rifle and revolvers, almost every woman knows how to shoot a gun but not many know how to aim correctly. Kate opted for the bow, but I was just happy my father was teaching me something to pass the time.

I would love to stay and tell you more, but the sun is rising, and I need to attend to the ranch! Bye now!

Alright, time for some Off-Type Clears! Because man, I do enjoy doing the F2P clears sometimes, but also I miss using some of my favorites that have been sidelined.

Vs. Hala Champion Iris has been on the bench for a long time in CS, and it's a shame. 5/5 grid when? Anyway, I opted for C!Elesa who is the eternal best partner for her, and Variety Lorelei, whose offensive buffs perfectly complement Iris'. Gotta get the Lorelei value in somehow to justify spending on the low-effort alt. The main struggle here was Iris hitting crit on sync. She missed it three times out of five runs. THREE! It's an 80%! Anyway. The other failure was my own fault, I got greedy with gauge and Iris couldn't queue up a move so we fell behind the sync requirement, and Hala's sync is Ice, so it dropped Elesa too. The next round went better. Iris still nukes for like infinity billion damage. Slightly related, but I'm still considering giving her Defense Crush as a lucky skill. I'm holding off only because I'm really, really hopeful that her grid expansion packs it. It's like the only thing aside from Power Play and Aggravation I could see benefiting her.

Vs. Olivia My girl Caitlin is so good. It turns out, the Lucian combo actually does work spectacularly. His debuffs are perfectly aligned to this comp, with SC Jasmine buffing up special defense, and attack drops keeping her alive against a physical damage dealer. Caitlin herself just trucks the center, ending on a big explosion. I do let SC Jasmine take first sync, and we just happened to get the quad queue, so I don't know how well they'd take Olivia's sync. Also, important note: you might think that, with speed buffs, Jasmine can use Flash Cannon here for guaranteed debuffs if needed. That's the devil talking. The gauge isn't that good, even at +6. Also Absorb recoups a lost gauge which is far more ideal for Caitlin specifically. Also yes I know this team is filled with redundancy but let me live.

Vs. Kahili I am pissed on Lusamine's behalf, which means now it's everyone's problem. I opted to bring in Sabrina as the tank, because the condition was permanent field effects, and I figured hey, Sabrina sets Reflect, which boosts speed. This is an ideal outcome that will in no way harm me. Spoilers: it harmed me. Sabrina is not a good physical tank. Bianca has also finally bitten the bullet. I gave her Head Start. At this point, there's no reason not to anymore. Also we were having legitimate trouble getting the clear without it, so like...I'm calling it an essential change.

Vs. Acerola Now that Zinnia is 3/5, I wanted to see how she did. Turns out, pretty good. I will say, this particular team is really nice. Masked Royal has a lot of benefit with Brutal Swing, kicking off Calem's Buddy move a bit quicker and debuffing defense. Zinnia herself is just hilarious. I still can't get over the +3 to all stats condition getting immediately blasted by an AoE Snatch attack with a 70% chance to just flinch everyone. The sickest part is her sync, which wasn't even full investment, hit for like 35k. Comparable damage to Iris. Like okay. Sure.

Vs. Kukui My girls have languished. I haven't run this team in a long time, and now they'll be brought out for the 12.5k meta. And you may be wondering, how'd they do? Well, it turns out that Lillie could two-shot the sides after Caitlin's sync. So a double denial, which is hysterical. Now, the first attempt failed. Because I forgot, Cynthia's sync is physical, and I had physical damage reduction on so Lillie could hit as hard as possible. So Cynthia's sync bounced off him for like 7k and then we just didn't recover from that. His sync is a sure KO against Cynthia, even if you cap defense. However on the second attempt, sync still happens to us because i still didn't take off physical damage reduction because I didn't leave the fight and hit retry and decided to just let Lillie sync. Turns out she could handle it. Once again, Healthy Benefits 5 paying off. And this all got to be with permanent field effects, which is great for H!Caitlin. You basically just get everything.

Final Thoughts Alola was the last of the old school CS regions, before Sinnoh showed up with the insanity of Entry x2 skills and all that. As a result, I feel like it's a good middle of the road region. There's some tough stuff, but nothing outrageous. This week in particular didn't feel too bad, nothing was all that unreasonable to handle. But still, I had fun. I miss using my favorites. I've gotten too invested in F2P clears, I'm doing off-type for a while.

Heyya I just saw the new one about "Everything" it was great! I really like it, it was pain 🙂👌

I do have something in mind about SC(if you want to take the request). How SC kinda warm up to the brothers... Specially the one tried to kill Mc.... I kinda have a thought that SC as a younger sibling is very protective of their older sibling MC.

Just imagine how many time SC glare and frown everytime the brothers around and MC have to calm SC down... We have another Chihuahua but an aggressive one 👀

But SC finally able to warm up to the brothers and have good times together.

Haha, yeah, SC's relationship with each of the brothers would certainly be different from MC's, especially with how much SC admires and is protective of MC. Still, I think they'd (mostly) all get along with time. I hope you enjoy these headcanons in response to your request. =)

How would the demon brothers respond to MC's protective younger sibling (SC)?

Lucifer thought it was bad enough that he had to house one human for a whole year, but now there were two, with the second one being an overprotective younger sibling who refused to leave MC’s side and glared at him whenever he was nearby. Trying to talk with MC ended up feeling like a bigger hassle to him than it should’ve been. MC did their best to calm their younger sibling whenever he was there, but SC was insistent that he was dangerous and that MC should never be alone with him. Well, Lucifer certainly couldn’t argue with that type of response; in fact, he almost wished MC showed more concern about being surrounded by demons like SC did. It wasn’t long before he started addressing SC as MC’s “guard dog” and found enjoyment in teasing them as he did with Luke.

Over time, though, Lucifer begins to view SC as the honorary youngest sibling of the demon brothers family, and SC grows to respect him like an older brother, along with being someone whom they can rely on. Still, SC doesn’t like to leave MC and him alone together, but Lucifer has come to accept their company. Also, MC can tell that SC tries to hide their excitement whenever the two of them are going to join Lucifer on an outing, even something as simple as running errands.

Mammon complained quite a lot when he was suddenly assigned to watch over two human exchange students, especially since the younger one always snapped back whenever he spoke rudely to either of them. To MC, watching him and SC argue with each other was like seeing two neighborhood dogs bark at each other every time they locked eyes. Fortunately, the tension between them started to subside when SC noticed Mammon gradually pushing the other demon brothers away from MC more often. He was not a foe, SC concluded--he was an ally in protecting MC! SC actually took him aside one day to declare a truce as long as he continued to keep MC safe. He agreed to it but was adamant that it was just to get SC off his back, not because he actually liked MC or anything.

Their “alliance” eventually turns into friendship. When Mammon gets gifts for MC, he also “coincidentally” picks up a little something for SC as well. Despite being on better terms, he does wish SC would let him be alone with MC more often; the two of them fight for MC’s attention the most, all while working together to keep everyone else away. He’d never admit it, but he’d protect SC with his life if necessary (just as he would with MC).

Once Leviathan became friends with MC, he became increasingly envious of SC’s tight bond with their older sibling. Whenever he invited MC to watch anime or play games with him, SC would either join in (sitting between the two of them) or manage to convince MC to spend time with them instead. And the way that SC could easily cling to MC and receive affection from them?? It wasn’t fair!! Well, yeah, okay, they’re siblings so of course they can interact with each other casually like that, but the point was that he wanted to be closer with MC, too! MC could tell that Levi was feeling down after SC dragged them away from him for the umpteenth time one week, so they came up with a plan to improve SC and Levi’s view of each other. Once the three of them were together in Levi’s room, MC suddenly excused themself, demanding SC to stay with Levi for a bit until they returned. They sat in an awkward silence while MC listened from outside the room. Before long, SC took interest in something in Levi’s collection and asked him about it. In his element, he happily began rambling about it, completely capturing SC’s attention, and within minutes, they already had something in common to talk about together.

Since that day, the two of them have become good friends, and they can even be found hanging out together when MC is unavailable. Levi also is happy to have another individual (in-person, not online!!) to freely enjoy his interests with. Plus, whenever he sews a cosplay together, it’s always for a trio so that SC can wear something that’ll go along with him and MC. SC no longer considers him a threat and is the only demon brother they’re comfortable enough leaving MC alone with, which Levi is honored to hear.

Satan understood that being in the Devildom--surrounded by soul-hungry demons--would make humans cautious of everyone, but what he didn’t understand was why MC approached things more calmly while their younger sibling practically growled at anything that looked their way. Also, it seemed that SC could see past his polite self-taught smile and would become even more protective of MC at the smallest hint of annoyance in his features. Were the younger siblings of humans all like this? For the most part, he didn’t pay the duo much mind, only showing interest in them when MC had made pacts with most of his brothers. When MC had refused to make a pact with him in order to frustrate Lucifer, it was SC who quickly stood between them when his anger rose. He noticed the fiery determination in their eyes, unwilling to back down even in the face of the Avatar of Wrath in order to defend their older sibling. Of course, MC didn’t let SC stay there long, carefully ushering them aside to ensure their safety before resuming their conversation with him. He came to respect that type of internal strength SC held, making any smile he showed to them more genuine.

Even after Satan does make a pact with MC, SC is reluctant to let the two be alone together, mainly because they worry he’ll hurt them in a fit of rage. Aside from that though, SC doesn’t really have any qualms about him. Satan is very knowledgeable, and they enjoy learning more about certain things from him. Plus, he willingly helps them and MC whenever they’re having trouble with RAD homework, which SC really appreciates (considering they may have more difficulty with the content since they’re younger than MC). In return, SC teaches him about the human world, clearing up any misconceptions he may have about it. Although he wants to make them trust him enough to allow him more time with MC, he doesn’t mind their presence much (not to mention, if SC has a fondness for cats, then he enjoys their company all the more). The two of them may appear more like classmates than friends, but everyone knows that just one wrong look at SC would be a death wish, one Satan would gladly fulfill.

Asmodeus found SC adorable, even with their “guard dog” nature around MC. He admired how much they cared about their older sibling, and he couldn’t help smiling and giggling to himself whenever these two humans acted sweetly toward each other. He wasn’t at all bothered by SC until after he formed a pact with MC. Spending any time alone (or even making any attempt to flirt) with the human was impossible with their younger sibling always shooting him sharp glares or giving him looks of disgust while sticking to their side like glue! Even so, he refused to let their reactions set him back. Instead, he plotted to make SC like him, which he believed would be such an easy task considering it’s him. He welcomed SC with open arms (quite literally) each time he hung out with MC, pampered them as he did with MC, and enjoyed making them flustered with his charm whenever he could. Not only did SC eventually stop frowning at him, but Asmo himself ended up truly cherishing them as his own younger sibling.

Nowadays, Asmo will set aside time to be with SC one-on-one, which usually involves talking about how much they both love MC while doing another activity, like painting their nails or getting drinks at a cafe. They’ve reached an agreement on how to share MC between the two of them, but SC still doesn’t allow him to spend evenings with MC unless they’re also present--his title as the “Avatar of Lust” keeps SC apprehensive around him. The only time anyone has ever seen Asmo and SC on bad terms is when they suddenly get into arguments on which one of them cares about MC the most.

As much as Beelzebub’s unyielding hunger prompted him to view the two human exchange students as a potential meal, the idea would dissipate each time he saw them together. He was almost instantly reminded of his bond with Belphegor when he first watched MC and their younger sibling interact with each other, making him miss his twin who was (supposedly) studying in the human world for the year. Additionally, SC’s protectiveness toward MC also reminded him of himself toward his brothers. Even if these humans did possibly taste good, he had no desire to tear a family apart. Because of these beliefs, he ended up becoming close with them more quickly than the others, and thus he was the first demon SC was less wary of, especially after he told them and MC about his past with Belphie and Lilith.

SC feels a sort of connection with Beel (perhaps of shared views of their loved ones) and doesn’t mind leaving him alone with MC most times since they know he’d protect them--with the exception of when he’s particularly hungry, since they fear he might accidentally harm them if he goes on one of his rampages. As a result, SC actually keeps a snack handy to give to him if it seems like he's getting too hungry. Beel also cares for SC greatly and would do whatever he could for them just as he would MC and his brothers. On the rare occasions that SC isn’t with MC, it’s possible to find them being carried on Beel’s back or shoulders, usually on their way to or from the kitchen.

Belphegor wasn’t surprised when SC always kept their older sibling away from him after the incident (Lesson 16). Considering what he did, he had no reason to blame them for such a reaction. However, this constant separation was also a constant reminder to everyone about what had happened, which only made it harder for the brothers to reconcile with Belphie. MC couldn’t stand the uncomfortable atmosphere lingering within HoL since that day, so they had to sneak away from SC (typically after they had fallen asleep) in order to interact with Belphie and bring about any change. It took quite a while, but eventually the relationship between him and his brothers improved, and he was grateful that MC was going to such lengths (even going behind SC’s back, especially) to help him despite what he had done. He then decided that he was going to do what he could to make it up to both MC and their younger sibling.

So, when they found him outside during Diavolo and MC’s joint surprise party, Belphie presented them with the best gifts he could think of. For MC, a pact with him, which they agreed to despite SC’s protests. He reassured SC that MC had much more to gain from the pact than him; MC now had power over him, making it impossible for him to ever harm them again. He offered a pact with SC as well, but they refused, still wanting nothing to do with him. This left him with his only other gift to SC: A genuine, heartfelt apology. It was difficult, but he made sure to express himself clearly and vow to never hurt them or MC in any way ever again. He added that he knew an apology alone could never change (or make up for) what he did, but he explained that he would do everything he could to display the sincerity behind his words for as long as they lived. With some extra assurance from MC, SC chose to accept his apology, but they pointed out that they couldn’t easily forgive him, which he understood.

From then on, Belphie’s relationship with MC and SC has improved little by little. MC is more open to interacting with Belphie than SC is, and whenever they are together, SC always stays right beside their older sibling. He never tries to push SC away when he’s with MC, and he’ll even leave if anything he does upsets SC. MC and Beelzebub are the ones who help SC become more accepting of Belphie and recognize the amount of regret he feels.

One day, MC convinces SC to join them and Beel in a sleepover in the twins’ room. After they arrive, SC notices that the Avatar of Sloth is nowhere to be found, to which Beel responds that Belphie chose to stay in the attic for the night since he didn’t want to make them uncomfortable. After a bit of thought, SC excuses themselves, stating they forgot to get something for the sleepover. They then make their way to the attic, a jittery feeling persisting in their stomach. They cautiously peek inside the doorway to find Belphie slumped among a cluster of pillows. He glances back when one of their steps makes the floorboards creak, stunned to see them. He makes no effort to move, simply asking them if they need something. SC hesitates briefly before finally inquiring if he’d like to join the sleepover in his and Beel’s room. Belphie just tries to brush them off. Frustrated, SC grabs his hand.

“Look, I can’t forgive you for hurting MC,” they say, looking back at the shocked demon, “but if they’ve accepted you and you really want to make things right, then I guess I have to make an effort, too. I know they’d be happier if you joined us tonight, anyway, so…will you come over or not?”

Belphie slowly relaxes as their words sink in, a soft smile forming on his face. “Sure. But SC, if you want me to leave at any point, just tell me, okay?”

SC agrees, and the two of them head back to MC and Beel, who are surprised to see them together but excited to welcome them. They spend the evening chatting, eating snacks, and playing card games. By the end of the night, they’ve nestled together under the covers of Beel’s bed as sleep overtakes them. This sleepover sparks the beginning of an unbreakable quartet, along with SC’s slow acceptance of Belphie.

Hi ghost! Im going to gush for a minute and say your metas make me so happy. Thank you so much for writing them. My question for you is: Do you think Annie is currently/will end up working with Paradis? And if so how do you think they'd initiate working with her given the not-so-excellent history? Also how do you think the remaining 104th and SC (and hitch) would handle it? I love Annie so much, I really want her to make it to the end!

It is one of my dearest wishes for canon to bring Annie over to the Paradis side. She knows how much Marley sucks, knows how much her compliance sucks, and doesn’t have high hopes for the rest of humanity in general. She’s not in this for anyone’s grand design. She’s a small boat in a giant river that’s going straight over a waterfall, and as far as she’s concerned, not capsizing is about as positive an outcome as she can get.

Waking up in Paradis, and being approached as an asset, rather than a traitor, throws her into an entirely different channel. With people she respects. Maybe even likes.

Realistically, the only way Zackly isn’t petitioning for someone to nom her 24/7 is if Annie proves herself useful as more than just the Female Titan. If she can’t do that, the only thing keeping her from getting nommed would be the kindness of all the friends she betrayed.

From her perspective, working with them keeps her alive, and keeps the dream of making it back to her father breathing.

From Paradis’ perspective, they have someone who can tell them about how modern day Marley functions, and they’ll want to pump every source of that knowledge for all they’re worth.

Annie has no love for Marley. She loves her father. War’s coming, and she’s been involved in enough to know what her odds are of ever seeing her father again if no one but her cares about him. Helping Paradis makes the most sense, and it isn’t like they’ll trust her enough to give her a seriously active role.

That’s the pragmatic approach. But I’d like to think that there’s room for her to sincerely defect. She does genuinely respect people fighting for a better world. She just doesn’t think the average person will ever be one of them, and lumps herself into that category.

And the reason for that is really very fascinating: Out of the Warrior Trio, Annie is the only one who still believes in her ability to make choices. Even when no good ones are available, she always thinks of herself as the driving force of what she’s done.

She’s the responsible party in her life.

That means that, unlike Reiner (who has been brainwashed into the damn ground) the fact that there are people whose ideals and fight she can appreciate opens the door to maybe, possibly, choosing to join them. Not because she has to or it’s the only option available, but because she wants to.

As for her interpersonal relationships... Eren might not be very nice to Reiner, but he’s grown into a very tired sympathy. And that’s with Reiner. Annie’s involvement in his nightmare was well enough in the shadows that he’s always had trouble just hating her.

She still slaughters a lot of soldiers.

A lot.

I wouldn’t expect Levi to forget that any time soon, and I’m sure the failure’s close to Hange’s mind as well. But they’re also professionals, and have a good idea of what their fate will be if they turn down help. They would make it work.

The rest of the 104th is tricky, because most of them aren’t shown having initial reactions to Annie’s true identity. Still, going by how their fights with Reiner and Bertolt trend, I think if they had the chance to not murder her, they would accept it pretty easily. Actually working with her might set off more pain than anyone’s really ready for, though.

Some of it depends on when she gets out of the crystal. If it’s a more recent thing, not only has everyone had more time to adjust to the world her actions have helped create, the people closest to her will have grown enough to realize that a fifteen-year-old is a child. Hating children doesn’t come as easily when you’re an adult.

Hitch, I have no idea on. Her most recent appearances have shown a lot of stress and few indications of how she’ll ultimately cope. I could see her throwing a punch and having a speech full of tears, but it’s all sort of vague.
