Look, considering I've only gotten involved in Stranger Things after season four and therefore haven't been around the fans during other new season filming starts, but my brothers/sisters/nb in fandom what the honest fuck is going on right now?

I have been a part of other fandoms when new seasons started filming and the worst I'd seen was BBC Sherlock. And you lot are behaving worst then they did.

And Jesus fuck, that's a fucking low ass bar.

But this is just what I've seen in my small deliberately secluded corner of the internet so forgive me if I get some things wrong.

Ronance fans have turned on Steddie fans.

Steddie fans are trying to eat each other over who tops and who bottoms between two horny, barely out of their teens, men.

Eddie is confirmed dead.

Dustin is trying to become Eddie.

People want Will dead because Noah Schnapps said some stupid shit regarding genocide.

And Argyle isn't coming back.

I'm going to give you my feelings on these so buckle up lets go:

1- Steddie and Ronance fans have turned on each other. And I know this because I doom scroll through steddie tag. That Ronance fans think Steddie fans are delusional and that they're going down after season five airs and there will be more Ronance fans because they're perfect for each other.

Where to even begin on this? First, never tell a shipper that their ship is never going to be canon because they don't care. Just ask all the Destiel, johnlock, and merarthur fans. Steddie fans are just going to ignore all but the most salient parts of season 5 if Eddie doesn't come back and write AUs for the rest of their lives. You know, like they have since the last scene on the Piggyback faded to black?

Secondly, I don't think I've seen much Ronance without Steddie. Granted I only read Steddie, but it seems that the two ships are tied pretty heavily together. The fruity four comes to mind. So maybe it's that they're getting tired of being a side ship next to a massive one like Steddie. Who knows. But apparently they're bitter.

And I say that because they keep tagging their anti-Steddie posts as Steddie to make sure we see it. Honestly, I just block them and go about my day. But seriously, I've never understood people's need to be shitty like posting hate on the tag for that thing. If you don't like it, fine. Block and move on.

Thirdly. Lastly. Maybe. I don't like Ronance. I saw the charms when I first joined the fandom and it was cute. Until the more I read and I realized that most of the time they don't bring up that Jonathan is even a person let alone Nancy's current boyfriend. That most of the time Steve is written wildly out of character about not caring that they're a couple and that he just wants them to be happy. Like, one Jonathan is severely under used in the fics I've read. Like Will doesn't have an older brother anymore. It's all Steve or Eddie. Which considering how you like your flavor of queer for Eddie or Steve (gay/pan/bisexual) Will talking to them about being gay makes sense, but Jonathan showed us in the last season that he is going to protect Will no matter what. Then blip! in fanfics, he's gone.

And then the whole Steve being okay with Robin not only dating an ex-girlfriend of his, but the ex. The one he thought he was going to marry. The one he dreamed a whole fucking future on. That was still hurt by two fucking years later. You either think very lowly of Steve or you just don't care. Because if you think Robin and Steve are the same person/share the same braincell/ride or die for life, there is no way even if Nancy threw herself at Robin would she even consider it. (I can write a whole ass post just on this by the way, don't get me started.)

2- This is the most recent bullshittery due to a current event about Sub Eddie. This is the worst discourse in any fandom and the worst offenders on either side tend say the most homophobic shit imaginable.

And it's pointless. Whether you think Steve is a top or bottom, whether you think he's dom or a sub. Same with Eddie. Everyone has their own flavor they prefer and they won't always match up with yours.

Personally I write them whatever feels natural for the story. But here's the major crux of the matter. I don't believe a little nerd in Bumfuck, Indiana has any idea what flagging is. I'm sorry. Left pocket, right pocket. Doesn't matter. The likely of him even knowing what BDSM is is pretty slim. I grew up in a small town. There will be some people that know, but that's because they know adults in the scene.

Don't like, don't read. Seriously, guys. Let people enjoy what they want to.

My personal feelings on the matter is that Steve is a bottom/sub because he deserves to be taken care of and Eddie would absolutely want to be that person for Steve, in and out of the bedroom. Again, you do you, beau.

3- The tombstone. Sigh. It was hard to see that. Not just because it confirms he's dead, but because it's been defaced. Most likely like fans have said, "BURN IN HELL" the poor bastard.

Having a tombstone doesn't necessarily preclude Eddie's return. There are several ways he can still comeback Kas! theory not withstanding. But the wank here is people jumping on Steddie shippers and Eddie fans in general pointing and screaming "see!"

Like we didn't have campaigns for Barb and Bob and (Billy). If someone's favorite character has died, don't be dicks when they want them to be resurrected a la Jim Hopper. Because that right there is the main reason people will still hold out hope until the final scene fades to black, okay?

I guess this one is just be nicer to each other, okay?

4- *sob* like holy fuck. Dustin you sweetheart. The long hair, the torn Hellfire t-shirt, the rings. The horns and sticking out his tongue. That poor boy needs several hugs STAT! And of course, people can't leave well enough alone on Facebook, I couldn't tell you how many of the comments were "steddie fans are going to make this all about them, aren't they?" Even though there wasn't a single comment by a Steddie making it about Steve/Eddie. But so many eye rolls. The other half were death threats against Noah Schnapp.

Which brings me to...

5- Noah Schnapp said some really shitty things about Zionism and the attack on Gaza. There is no escaping that. He said them. He double downed on them. And while yes it sucks he said those things, let's not forget he's still young and stupid. He's barely 18/19 years old. I remember being that age and saying stupid fucked up shit, and hoo boy does this make me grateful I was well into adulthood when the internet became a thing (24ish).

There are a lot of reasons to be upset by his comments and I get that. But death threats and calls for his dismissal/boycotts just seems excessive to me.

One, because the story began with a kidnapped little boy and a runaway little girl. If you get rid of one of them especially this close to the end it would fuck up the story. Now if there was more than one season left, sure. But this is literally the end. And for all we know, Will's character may already be doomed by the narrative. So calling for it now isn't go to do anything. Especially since they already had all the scripts written and would have finished filming if it hadn't been for the strikes.

Two, one person on the cast said something stupid and hurtful and you want to boycott the entire show for it? Like, what did David Harbor, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Millie Bobby Brown and all the others do to deserve you boycotting their show? If the last season tanks it could seriously hurt their careers, but hey Noah Schnapp said something bad, so fuck them?

I'm going to stop there, because this is another one I can go on and on about, but yeah. Don't hurt other people in your rush to vilify an 18 year old.

6- Eduardo Franco recently said that he didn't get a call so he didn't think he would be back. He was sure that ship had sailed.

Fans are upset, naturally. Argyle was a sweetheart and deserves better than to be cut from the story like that.

But thanks to the incident with David Harbor and Jim Hopper supposedly being dead, a lot of fans are saying he's only saying that because it's a "secret" he's coming back. Which would make sense for Eddie or any of the other character died. Martin Brenner, for example, but not Argyle. There would be no need for subterfuge. Plus, he would already be out in Georgia if he was coming back.

It's sad that he was done dirty this way, but if they split up the filming like they've done before there is still a chance he might get to come back, but as far as the current filming is concerned, yeah Argyle isn't coming back.

Your book sounds so cool!!!

AAAAAA, THANK YOU SO MUCH! It's called The Tale of the Evil Sorcerer/O Conto do Feiticeiro Maligno and it's free to read over Wattpad, but there isn't an english translation and I prob won't do that any time soon, as I'm going to rewrite it someday.

It's about an "evil" sorcerer who kidnapped a princess by accident, only to fall in love at first sight with the knight who came to save her. Things become worse when the princess figures out the sorcerer was never evil at all, but he's so bad at communication that he just let the rumors spread because it was easier than dealing with them, so she decides to strike a deal: She'll help him try to talk with the knight, who also happens to be her BFF, and in turn he will teach her how to be a sorcerer. And no, the knight has no idea what's going on, and he's also been indocrinated his whole life to beliefe that magic = SUPER BAD.

I love these three idiots so much. The sorcerer is called Meia-Noite (Midnight in english), princess is Valentyna, and the knight is Edgar. They share one (1) braincell and are all doomed by the narrative, except the story has a happy ending for everyone. The only villain who's not sympathetic is a transphobe named Joanne Atropa and she's english-coded. This is not a reference to an IRL transphobe/neonazi author, uh-uh, never! Infodump under the cut:

Meia-Noite is a gay disaster who lives in a fortress he found at age 13 in the middle of a jungle. Goth, anxious, and is actually a healer and not a shadow manipulator like the rumors say. He helps people if they get lost and need someone to treat their injuries because his duty as a healer is capable of overtaking his fear of strangers. He's tall with long dark hair but if the wind hits him a bit too hard he goes flying with it, the guy is a STICK.

Edgar is a bi knight who has trained his entire life to protect the girl he sees as a sister. He's autistic, albino and is REALLY serious about his duties as a knight (he's 17) to the point he forgot about everything else. Outside the harsh exterior he's actually a huge sweetie who loves photography and is super curious about magic, but feels super guilty and bad about it.

Valentyna is a lesbian princess who's a prodigy at almost everything she does, but her parents refuse to teach her light magic and she's desperate to help the people of her kingdom. This girl punched Meia the SECOND she was able to do so during the kidnapping, she may not know what she's doing but somehow she is winning the game. She cares so much about everyone around her! Also adopted an albino snake and named it Açúcar (Sugar) 15 seconds after finding her in the palace's gardens.

Some other characters include:

Olhos de Fogo (Fire Eyes), a HUGE dumbass who's also a sorcerer. Pan king, ranked #1 arsonist over three different kingdoms, also ranked most handsome character by the readers (somehow!!!!! People love to thirst over him!) and has a "very gender" title given by me. Doomed by the narrative except unlike the trio he just accepts his fate because he's a huge loser. If this will end well for him or not it's something everyone has yet to see. My girlfriend has this to say about him:

Angélica, Meia's adopted sister, can see the future sometimes and is also a fashion enthusiasts. Use the people in the "fortress" she lives in as test subjects for her clothes, girlie is always tired and a bit terrified of the future ahead but trying her BEST to stay positive. And failing. I want to give her a special treatment in the rewrite because I think she deserves it.

Comandante (Commander), has this name because they're the commander of the non-binary nation. Accidentally misheard Meia-Noite and thought they were supposed to KIDNAP Valentyna instead of politely taking her over for a conversation about why her parents are incompetent at their jobs, now must be the parent friend to everyone. I love them so much, they're an icon to me.

Elisabeth, a princess from a rival kingdom who may or may not be Valentyna's crush. A bit more on the gothic side, had a pretty unusual childhood and her tweenhood was pretty hard. Tries her best to look eloquent and always knowing what to do, but really, REALLY wants to be a bit more loose. She and Tyna will have an enemies/rivals to lovers arc in the rewrite bc why not.

IT/THAT THING/ANYTHING/THE ???????????. A creature that's always watching. Also may be the guy that gave Meia half of his trauma.

The NARRADORA, AKA Narrator, the girl who's telling this story. It's her first big assignment and she LOOOVES saying her opinions about what is going on, much to her professor/adopted father's dismay.

THE NARRADOR, AKA Narrator but masc, is Narradora's older brother and a lot more kept-together than her, except it's all a facade for an equally chaotic creature. Loves gossip.

THE PROTAGONISTA, AKA Protagonist, who's ALSO another narrator. Super insecure because he's still training to be a storyteller, but he has his boyfriend (Narrador) and best friend (Narradora) to help.

THE LOCUTOR, who only appears to narrate like three times max. Older brother figure of the group, a huge cryptid who seems to be the coolest thing ever until you discover he stole an one-night-stand's head for funsies and is yet to give it back.

THE HOMEM VELHO, AKA Old Man, the professor of the group. Never makes a proper apparition but I want to mention him because he's a tired dad, someone PLEASE give him a break.

This is singlehandedly one of the most gayest scenes in Butterfly Soup 2 (not including their years later scene for many reasons *cough*). This is so gay because you have to think of not only the before process but also the after process of untying their hair.

Before:

>Obviously Akarsha prompted this by telling them to tie their hair together whilst Noelle slept, but you cannot look me in the eye and tell me this girl did not ONCE freak out. Whether it's over the fact "omg she fell asleep how cute, she's been working so hard" or "holy shit we're so close, wow girls."

When first starting the game it's extremely obvious that Akarsha is crushing hard. Noelle deadass started hyper analyzing her (which can push some people off I think) but Akarsha is like "omg she pays that much attention to me. She knows so much about me, teehee." So I accept it as a given that this girl when laying down next to her crush, as her friends tie their hair together is absolutely losing it.

Like if this girl didn't already figure out her sexuality beforehand this would be what tips her over. She'd just be busy questioning why in the world a girl significantly closer to her, makes her heart rate question what the fuck is going on. Though I guess that can also be said for the earthquake part.

I am VERY VERY genderfluid and platonically gay in all directions despite refusing to form organs: the polycule via philzas, kristins, technoblades, forevers and missas is a constant battle despite not having any of my forevers or missas to philza sources besides one found or in the system I can tell you right now the colorzas and my qpps going to town in the background and the second one of my qpps in a different system are visible it's like vultures on roadkill in how we all share one braincell and it being "make sure beloved knows they're loved and cared about" it's fucking amazing. 10 kristins spotting our phil or techno and kissing them with my color changing blood as their lipstick is hilarious and amazing,

there is no greater joy than all your beloveds being eachother's beloveds as well and being able to respect and communicate and know that things aren't perfect but they sure aren't horrible.

Started 911 over the weekend and have already watched all of season 1 and half of season 2.

I started this show because I've seen so many edits of Buddie along side firstprince and wanted to see what the connection is. Beyond the obvious surface level, a half Mexican man, and a white blonde man. It does run deeper.

I ramble a lot mostly about season 2

I was speaking with a friend about Buck and Alex, they're the same. They just are. Same character, different fonts. Headstrong, yet sensitive. Impulsive, yet caring. Arrogant and charming, yet sweet and endearing. Protective surrogate parent older sister who knows about their big gay crush way before they even do.

And then Eddie enters the picture. He instantly put Buck on guard, due to his attractiveness and heroic past, he's deemed a threat to Buck. A threat to his position in the station, and his sex status symbol as a firefighter. That is, until, Buck finds out about Christopher and just completely softens on Eddie, and dare I say, falls in love with him. (that look in the truck after Eddie tells Buck about Christopher for the first time after the earthquake and Buck is just a big pair of gay heart eyes) you could argue, this is akin to Alex and Henry at the children's hospital and Alex watches Henry Claudette. And then get stuck together. Which brings us back to Buddie, running into a sideways hotel, almost getting smashed by an elevator in the shaft, and after the two idiots with a single shared braincell save everyone, Buck volunteers to take Eddie to get Christopher. And get's even bigger gayer heart eyes watching them reunite. (I'm never recovering from that)

Then there's the sister connection. Maddie and June both clearly know their brother's crush early. June and her magazine, Maddie just listening to Buck talk about Eddie.

Eddie makes Buck soften. He becomes a better version of himself. Much like, Alex does with Henry.

Only after 8 episodes of them, I really really get the link here. and I'm in trouble.

ALSO NEW DRIP!!!.... for a couple minutes before she realizes that Sprigattito feels neglected after a full day of her chaseing after the little turtle boi. Which is actually very important, we've seen just how much she cares about her mons, and it's the reason why Olivia and G-Moltress trusted her (well okay Moltress went with her after seeing Terrapagos.) We also got a potential reason behind seeing the memories of Lucius due to the pendant, Liko caring about them had a reaction in Terrapagos. Good to know.

Some things never change.

Very reminesent of the first episode and how they bonded. Liko finding Sprigattito. Her talking to it and explaining how she still cares for Sprig, even after everything they've been through. And the little cuddle and bap.

Anyways, they were discussing how'd they even find the mons, Lapras, Enti, Kleevor, and of course, Shiny Rayquazza. Enti being a roaming legendary, Kleevor being an ancient mon in of itself, though it's possibly in Sinnoh, scaring the locals based on the picture of it. And Lapras... it's in the ocean. Who knows where it could be in the first place (someone said Alolah is possible which I agree with)

We do know that Rayquazza is still here, in Galar, thanks to Dot. We're still getting him, and after that... who knows! (I just hope Roy gets his dream come true with catching it and all)

Oooooooohhhh is Amitheio still upset after that battle from last episode??? Damn that must have hit hard, losing a battle like that, and then Friede outright telling him that he's been holding back which what the fuck my man you don't just say that-

Grey: Gai (Lucario) - jolly and enthusiastic. Gets on with everyone but is especially fond of Minerva. Jo (Tangela) - Shy but sweet, a little timid with the bigger species. Best buds with the little house mons like Lump, Mocha and Chip, fond of Quintin for his jolly nature. Harley (Cubone) - Stroppy, enjoys Murder King, and Riot, stern with the rest. Jinseng (Garchomp) - Boa's dad, calm and good natured. Doesnt like Riot, good with the rest, fond of Val and her leadership. Marcellus (Blastoise) - Calm and grouded, loves the little ones, can get a little fed up with Boadicea and Missy, they're a lot sometimes. Saxon (Houndoom) - Super chilled out, gets along with almost all, bar Riot who is chaos. Chigby (Alolan Rattata) - The fanciest rat, he really likes Minerva, Wednesday and Champagne, the rest are indifferent/fine with his presence. Zeke (Darumaka) - a ball of love, most are good with him but he personally is drawn to Bob, Val, Saxon and Boa. Its a fire type thing, he likes the heat share.

Plum: Missy (Dragonair) - ADHD in dragon form, sweet. Though most are tolerant of her, a surprise acceptance comes from Val, who usually dislikes mons like missy. She loves everyone, EXCEPT Boa. They have a fierce rivalry. Minerva (Lopunny) - respected amongst them all, no one hates minerva, she is a very good pillar of strength for many, but loves to hang with Gai, Wednesday, Champagne, Chigby, Quintin and Booker a lot. They all gossip together. Boa is her sister in her eyes. Wednesday (Misdreavus) - Naughty and energetic, she's a new addition from the trios holidays to Paldea, gets on GREAT with Missy, Gai, Riot and Pam. They are chaos as a group. Don (Rockruff) - A new addition, young but fussy. Gets on well with Saxon, Minerva, Booker, Chigby and Valka, activley dislikes the smaller more hyper mons like Zeke and Scooter.

Peach: Bob (Torkoal) - Loves the youngsters. Has a distinct adoration for Val seeing as they have history. No one can hate him, he's a gentle old soul who cares for all. Even Riot shows respect. Valka (Vulpix) - Fussy by nature, she keeps distance from most. Fond of Minerva, Booker, Murder King, Jinseng, and Bob. Surprisingly patient with Missy and Boa. Wants to eat chigby. Booker (Teddiursa) - Tolerant though grouchy, enjoys Minerva, Pam and Gai, has a strong dislike for Wednesday. Riot (Lycanroc-mindnight) - Everyones problem, Riot is too unruly for most. He loves to brawl with anyone. likes Pam, Don, and Booker, a lot, dislikes Saxon heavily. Gentle with ED. Quintin (Scizor) - Airhead, most have no issue with him, he's too sunny to dilslike. Boadicea (CharizardXGarchomp) - usually very good with others, she has no issue with even other dragons. All bar Missy, who she doesnt care for one bit. Adores Bob and Jinseng, her two dads. Minerva loves her like family, Val protects her as a fellow fire type. Donut (stantler) - Does not tolerate Riot's tomfoolery. Otherwise calm and sturdy, doesnt spook even with the little energetic ones. Fond of Marcellus and Jo, taken a liking to Don. Murder King (Omanyte) - Enjoys the company of Harley those two are like peas in a pod. Has a crush on Minerva, is super fond of Pam for her spirit, very entertained by Chip's devious nature. Strongly dislikes Chigby for some reason, no one can work that one out.

HOUSE MONS (No official trainer, but alwasy there) Chip (Seedot) - A devious little seed, chops and changes a lot. best friends with lump and scooter. Enjoys ED for his naive nature, Hangs with MK a little too much. Enjoys Marcellus. Lump (Lotad) - everyone besides chip and scooter are indifferent to lump, he's so chilled out and often just sleeps a lot and waddles around. Scooter (Surskit) - Hyperactive, Chip and Lump adore them. likes to see what Quintins up to, avoids Riot, spooked by Saxon, distrusts Harley. Mocha (Milcery) - one braincell. Has no hate in her at all, though spooked easily, has no issue even if pokemon scare her, soon forgets she was nervous. New love for Wednesday, those two get on great. ED (Scrafty) - Everyone loves ED, I mean c'mon, he's just a little dude. Missy, Minerva and Marcellus all baby him a lot, Pam tries to toughen him up, even MK and Riot are cautious with the him. Pam (Pancham) - Quite likes Riot for his brutish nature, looks up to Booker, likes to stirr the lump-chip-scooter pot, gets them in trouble. Champagne (Trubbish) - a proper lady, likes things just so, gets on great with Minerva, good with Val, very friendly towards Chigby. Not overall any trouble, just quite particular. Dislikes Riot heavily, not fond of Harley.

Thats all the mons that hang around a lot, but theres plenty roaming around the island elsewhere.

Prince confessing that he's gay, and framing it as a condition that Bee might not understand or accept-- after Bee had kissed him, after Bee had been following him around like a puppy for weeks and being pretty clear about his feelings -- broke my heart into itty bitty pieces.

He presented it like it was an illness, which is obviously something that has been drilled into him by his agent and the industry he's working in. He looked so heartbroken at the idea that this would be the thing that would push Bee away.

And Bee, precious half-a-braincell-and-i-share-it-with-my-besties Bee, who can also be so emotionally aware, and is so gentle and understanding just says "Gay, like when a man likes another man? Oh. Then I guess I'm gay, too," like it's the most wonderful news-- and also like he's literally never thought about it before, even as he's been actively trying to date this boy all semester. Like the label doesn't matter to him at all, but if it helps Prince be more comfortable and less lonely, then yes, he'll use it.

Just. The way that they have had to be so careful, and had to hold themselves back, and Bee leaning in for that kiss and declaring his feelings with so much joy, and Prince getting to be wanted for who he is, and throwing himself into that hug with the biggest smile... They're just so cute and I'm so happy to see them happy.

My School President Ep 12 thought dump (there are spoilers)

- The relief that Tinn's mom didn't force him to come out is astronomical. There is a very clear difference in Gun's comfort with his mom, and Tinn's reservation with his own parents. It's so so so important for him to come out on his own terms and a very big step for her to realize that when she saw how nervous he was.

- Tinn's mom forever. I'm actually glad we meet her as his mom in MSP before MLC because I have a feeling we really won't like her in MLC.

- That honest conversation queer youth has about knowing not everyone is accepting. So important coming from Gunn, to support Tinn after Tinn has supported him all this tim
