yaaaaaaay saw the new psych and she was awesomeeeee. i felt safe right away to tell her i'm also autistic and she totally validated it and found it made sense with the narrative i was giving her. she's down to help me play with dosages and meds to find a good fit for adhd stuff, and is starting me on something new to supplement what i'm already taking, to see how that goes.

i'm so excited! she seemed like such a good fit from her bio and the research i did, i'm so glad that my read on her was correct. she totally vibed with me on queerness and disability as we talked too.

it's weird. admittedly very weird. building a support system and care team of competent and caring doctors. i have so many health issues now, but i, for the fist time in my life, feel really supported in them? long gone are the days of no one bothering to take me to a doctor until the horrendous medical issues have gone on so long they're already starting to resolve on their own, and it's far too late for anything to be done. i'm finally finding doctors who actually know what they're doing and are willing to recognize that there is something wrong with me. and then do something about it.

#it's still an odd concept to me that a doctor might be able to offer solutions to my problems #that they might have some alternatives to the options i sorted out on my own and have since exhausted #or that there even ARE options at all #hell. the gut thing i might have is *treatable*!!! #and there are more options for treating my brain stuff!!!! #things that might work differently and better than what has already been such a game changer #which that in and of itself is amazing. that what has already been 'good enough' can still be improved upon #and i'm not just being told to suck it up and be happy with 'good enough' #(or have acknowledging that it isn't perfect result in it being taken away) #wild #it's all just wild #personal

1- I love your idea of a sokkla fic from Suki’s pov. I can totally picture Zuko making azula work to the order of white lotus as a a way to being pardoned for her crimes and she begrudgingly agreed, because anything is better than being locked up in the asylum. But this is Azula we’re talking about and she’s a wild card, so Sokka is partnered up with her to make sure she won’t cause trouble. He’s not happy about it. At first they just throw sarcastic quips at each other.

2 - After surviving some life-death situations together, they come see other sides of each other beyond “ruthless manipulative princess” and “goofy peasant with a boomerang” and form a weird friendship. Still throw sarcastic quips at each other, but is not as mean spirited.

3 - Meanwhile, Suki feels there’s something different. She tells herself she’s  just being paranoid, but still reminisces about that time Sokka drawed her firebending… Sorry, I got carried away. Hopefully you’re not annoyed. Please, feel free to ignore my ramblings.

Anon, I will never be annoyed with Sokkla ideas. I'll welcome it here with open arms. YOUR IDEA IS AWESOMEEEEE. I can definitely see it. Suki at first will be bothered because she's afraid Azula might hurt Sokka then as years progress she will find it weird how to two become close friends and be bothered because Sokka always talks tell stories about Azula. Then, imagined if the two white lotus are in the Fire Nation and some rebels decided to attack so they will jump in to fight with Zuko, the guards and of course the kyoshi warriors. They are obviously winning but then someone will try to sneakily attack Sokka then Azula will take the blow for she's the only one noticed it. They're all concerned for Azula but Sokka reacts the strongest and won't let anyone carried her to the Royal Palace infirmary. Suki witness it first hand that will make her contemplate her relationship with Sokka.
