Fairyary Day 19: Silvermist 🧚‍♀️

I’ll be the first to tell you that I was a Silvermist fan girl from a very young age and thought she was so graceful and pretty 😭💖 It’s worth mentioning that because of Silvermist I became very attached to other people with water based powers in other mediums 😂 She definitely started a trend that exists to this day for me 🌊

All of the Tinkerbell movies, but especially the first one, were such huge icons of my childhood. They’re even the inspiration behind my current username lmao. I’ve been inspired to rank the Tinker Bell movies

1. Secret of the Wings

Periwinkle is one of my favorite fairies!! This was my sister and I’s favorite when we were little because we thought we were like Tink and Peri so this will always be the most special one to me

2. The Pirate Fairy

Zarina is another fave of mine, this movie goes unbelievably hard I love getting out of Pixie Hollow and seeing pirates

3. Tinker Bell and The Lost Treasure

Tink is kinda frustrating in this movie but this is the most screen time Terence has so I will take what I can get

4. Tinker Bell

Classic and so nostalgic!! I get so much secondhand embarrassment every time Tink messes something up tho LMAO

5. Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue

I really wish I could rank this higher because I love so many things about this movie, like Vidia’s redemption and every scene with Tink’s friends coming to save her, but oh my god I cannot stand Lizzy I just think she’s so annoying I’m sorry

6. Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast

Misleading title because this isn’t even Tink’s movie, it’s Fawn’s. I just hate Fawn’s new design in this, and her personality is way different now too. I do think it was a cool idea to give Tink’s friends their own movies though and I wish they could have followed through

Autistic Headcanon:

Tinkerbell

1. Her special interest is tinkering and lost things.

Tinkerbell regularly ignores certain danger in seeking out things to do with her special interest. In Great Fairy Rescue, she dives head first towards a car and human house despite many warnings headed by Vidia about the danger because nothing is more important than finding out more about what interests her.

2. She doesn’t quite understand social cues.

Tinkerbell often misses sarcasm. Instead of catching on to Vidia’s sarcasm about capturing the sprinting thistles, Tink believes Vidia only wants the best for her and takes her advice. Or the fact that Ternence’s anger goes right over her head in Lost Treasure.

3. She has a strong sense of morals and justice.

Tink often challenges social rules and the status quo of Pixie Hollow. She doesn’t understand why Tinker’s aren’t allow on the mainland, and seeks to find anyway to change that even if that means changing her talent. She doesn’t understand why the winter woods are off limits, even after having the rule explained to her.

4. She has sensory overload and meltdowns.

In Lost Treasure, Terence tries to remind her to eat and take care of herself while she’s hyper focused on the autumn sceptre. When she begins to get annoyed with him, we see her experiencing sensory overload, and eventually a meltdown. She often loses her temper in this way.

crying over Fawn and the Neverbeast. like i never related to a character as much as i relate to Fawn. and then they gave her the saddest movie ending

actually sobbing because what if the fairies went to visit him sometimes? to make sure his water is still good and the air is nice and he doesn’t have any thorns in his paw.

what if they visited to paint the walls with murals of the Hollow and flowers and one big, central art work of Fawn and Gruff, surrounded by six small glowing stars.

thinking about how the comet and the waking of the Neverbeast becomes a celebration in Pixie Hollow, they make sure to check on Gruff at night. everyone watches from the trees as he builds the rock towers, and after the storm the fairies spend time with him, and a new generation of fairies understands how exceptional he is.

and maybe they keep leading him back to his hibernation spot under the stars, with glowing dandelions and a procession to say goodbye and keep him company as he falls asleep, facing the mural of him and Fawn <3

Fairyary Day 20: Iridessa 🧚‍♀️

I related so much to Iridessa when I was younger and appreciated how her anxiety has a big part of her character, as I struggled (and still struggle) with my own. She was also such a sweet character and I love how cheery and pretty her design is 😭💖
