Is 7 in the morning and i have a bad cold, im staying home from school and getting cuddle today.
So the ask is, headcanons about Nocorro cuddling eachother when they feel bad?
I need water.
Hope you feel better now, though I know this was a while ago. I've been saving it because I wanted to give it the proper thought and care it needed.
If we're in canon, then we know Na'vi hardly ever get sick. So this is all Spider. I think Neteyam was shadowing Jake for the day, only to show up for midday meal to find one person suspiciously missing. Kiri and Lo'ak are arguing passionately over wether an ikran can do a barrel roll like they saw a plane do in one of Norm's old movies, and Spider is no where to be found. When questioned, Kiri explains that Norm radioed to say Spider was sick so they spent the morning watching Top Gun. The topic switches pretty quickly back into if Lo'ak can do a barrel roll, and Neteyam's like "Wait wait wait, back up." Kiri says, "Exactly, a barrel roll is impractical for the rider-" and he just realizes he's not going to get shit from these two. Neteyam is too much of a goody goody to completely abandon his dad, but he does tell Tuk to tell Jake he'll be busy for the rest of the day. At least one of his siblings can hold a normal conversation.
So, he goes to Hells Gate, and a very exasperated but also very fond Norm says he said Spider was sick to keep them away, not invite them all! Neteyam finds an equally exasperated Spider sitting in his little room working on his weaving. Spider insists he's fine and he'll live and that he KNOWS today was Neteyam's day to shadow Jake, only for Neteyam to be like "You watched a new movie with Kiri and Lo'ak and not with me? 🥺"
So I think Spider would obviously pull out Top Gun again, having fallen directly into Neteyam's trap, because he always falls asleep during movies he's already seen, and now Spider is passed out on his shoulder. Also Neteyam kinda needs to know what a barrel roll is at this point.

when you’re off of work would you please elaborate on your hannibal service top agenda,,, please my family is starving
i don’t want anyone to starve so obviously I will extrapolate on the service top aspect of Hannibal Lecter o7!! I am going to get so carried away and I apologize in advance.
Alright going to start this off by saying I do think they’re vers but only in regards to each other, I think for canon relationships, Will has a tendency to allow himself to be directed while Hannibal loves to orchestrate. With each other, though, it grows increasingly and alluringly complicated. Arguments could be made and subsequently thrown out depending on what part of the show you’re watching and post fall is an entire free-for-all because you can’t tell me two grown men survive murder-suicide via cliff and then settle into the puritanical rigidity of who tops and who bottoms.
Okay that being said, honestly i could make the case that both of them lean more toward making sure whoever they’re with is getting the most out of the encounter (maybe for different reasons; the popular trope of Will’s empathy causing a sort of blissful feedback loop and in Hannibal’s case, it stands to reason the politeness overlaps with a challenging sort of hedonism, he’s in control and playful about it) but I think that specifically for Hannibal, Will’s reactions are what he’s constantly seeking and then hoarding. Like. Will responding to stimuli that Hannibal presents is basically the premise of the show and Hannibal very clearly gets off on that, maybe not anywhere explicitly but we see shots of his pupils dilating, his gaze always caught on Will, licking his lips, all in response to Will reacting to him. It’s very rare he’s outright hungry at the beginning of a conversation or interaction, he seems to maintain a sense of aloofness until Will snarks or baits or replies or even defers and then, it’s as though he’s desperate to see more. I'm not getting into the whole them eating meals together because I'll devolve very quickly but like. just keep in mind the way Hannibal watches Will eat, as though he savors Will instead of the meal he cooked. Right. Okay. He gets caught up in Will’s responses very quickly, enraptured and almost stupid about it and trying to immediately trigger more which!! Goes hand and hand with him doing very uh lets say unique acts of service (the malewife jokes are only half jokes); the breakfasts & dinners, the driving, the caretaking. Yes all that’s manipulative but to Hannibal, that doesn’t negate that it’s still getting him the responses he wants and that’s also maybe why he’s so quick to say they’re friends because he’s viewing it as a form of relationship building and quite frankly, that is the only way that man knows how to build relationships; he sets himself up as a crutch and then breaks your leg and unfortunately at that point, for Will, for Jack, for Abigail, for Bedelia, for Chiyoh, you are too grateful to be standing that you forget he’s the reason you can’t do it on your own. The others I mentioned learn either very quickly or very (in painful irony) rudely that he is only a crutch as long as he enjoys it, as long as he can benefit from holding you aloft.
However. In Will’s case, he tries to remove himself and finds that it’s him who can’t stand and he’s immediately resentful and desperate to take back that ability, leaving another gift, another act of service, for Will to prove that he can still provide it and detrimentally putting himself on the map for Jack and Mason in the process. He’s so eager to have Will’s response, he waits at his own fucking crime scene. Will gives him what he wants and he’s too overwhelmed to respond with any sort of power or immediate selfishness, he runs again. And then. Muskrat Farms and his surrender. I feel like I don’t even need to explain why that backs up my case here, that man is so so ready to rescue and then surrender all because Will’s involved; two things he’s never done in his entire life, they essentially reduce him to this almost pathetic thing and it doesn’t give him pause at all because again, they’re acts of service whether Will wants them at that point or not. Like Bedelia said it best, he’s obsessed, he wants every reaction, every word, every sigh and curse, he’s very single-minded about getting them and he doesn’t care who he has to hurt, himself or others, to get them. Now, combine all that and the cliff scene and tell me that man doesn’t spend every second they’re in a bed together completely and utterly focused on Will and Will alone.

I just randomly remembered an author that whenever they wrote tfp megop smut would basically have Optimus be like, "I remember how you used to top me/I wish you'd top me, but alas, I must top you now."
Makes me giggle a bit just thinking about it.
The fact that I'm getting the vibe I've definitely read those too, or at least a few ither authors who did it
Because it's one of the funny parts of determining role by height but also having characters that can rapidly change height

There's a lot of stories I've been told by elders, teachers, cousins, all about what it was like to be taken away from their parents. Or at least attempted to be taken away.
Certain ones stand out the most in my mind. I used to be really involved with church, my entire family was. So we were close to our pastor.
Outside of church my mom was helping her with some things and I remember when she started to open up about her experience with boarding schools.
I sat there and listened as she talked about it. She was one of the ones who'd get in trouble for talking in her native tongue. She learned to stop because some punishments you simply didn't come back from.
She cried talking about when they cut her hair. She didn't understand why her parents were sending her away, she didn't know until she was older they had no choice.
She didn't get very far before she went inside, it all being too much and she didn't want us kids to hear the worst parts.
Even though she wasn't there anymore, she became a pastor who had incredibly short hair. She hardly spoke her language, and at that point she was one of the elders. It still affected her long after and it took me a really long time to see it. Because she was always wrapped up in native clothing, had beaded pieces. She clearly was still within her culture, there just were some parts she never returned back to.
Recently, although she talked about it when I was little too, my Mom talked to my little sister about the sweeps they'd do on reservations.
They all recognized the vans that meant every native child had to hide until nightfall, if you were caught, you weren't coming back.
You couldn't just run inside to your parents, they'd go from house to house, if you were there, they could take you and your parents couldn't do anything about it. It was legal.
All their parents could do was warn them about the vans and beg them to hide until it was safe.
Her and whoever she was with, friends, cousins, siblings, they'd stay out of sight until nightfall. The only thing protecting them was the fact that the vans couldn't be there at night.
It was a part of their normal, you see those vans, you hide and make sure they don't see you. It didn't matter if they showed up in the morning, you didn't exist until they were gone.
It's really no wonder why she still hates vans to this day, she won't buy one even though they're great to fit big families, like ours. And she's always aware of cars but vans especially.
I can't help but sit here and wonder if ICWA is overturned, are my sisters going to have their own stories to tell?
It's already bad how many Natives are taken away because of CPS, if it wasn't for my tribe helping us close the cases opened against us, I would've been. So many of my cousins were, it wasn't unusual for my Mom to open her home to them because they would run away. They knew she would help them. We all knew how bad they were treated, but we couldn't adopt them all. I think my Mom would have if she could've. But it was enough for a lot of them to just have a spot to stay, knowing someones looking out for them who won't judge them.
We need every little bit of protection even now to keep native families together. That fact that this is being attacked right now is so deliberate and Natives have been shouting for people to see that.
This is a pattern, not a coincidence. So many generations have their own stories about how native kids were taken away. Hell, my generation, we have ours! It's always a legal system that we have to fight that non natives ignore. It's a different font, but same story.
Boarding schools were legal, the reservation sweeps were legal, and CPS and foster care, again legal.
The genocide for natives never stopped, it just takes a new form. This is just the latest version. Don't stop talking about ICWA, be loud about it! Don't let them overturn it!

So while I was raking leaves today I was thinking that as much as Bakugou bullying Izuku and later redeeming himself is an integral part of canon, it could be improved upon. I’ve always been a fan of AUs where Bakugou is exactly the same personality wise but he stayed friends with Izuku and is his biggest supporter.
Basically baby Katsuki looked between his best friend in the whole wide world who just got diagnosed as quirkless and the prejudices of society and took Izuku’s side. And because this boy doesn’t do anything by halves he is so ride or die. Izuku trains his mind and body, he and Katsuki hang out constantly and make plans for their future agency, they spar together until they’re both formidable fighters. You can obviously insert canon in here which would be the same only Izuku a) starts out buff b) has a bit more confidence/self worth and c) All Might has to deal with an angry Pomeranian barking at him not to hurt Izuku 24/7. Aizawa clocks them as the class’s disaster duo within 5 seconds of meeting them and he’s not wrong but he underestimates the trouble they can get into.
Me, being me, I was playing with it today in my quirkless verse. They both get into Yuuei, Bakugou in Heroics and Izuku in Gen Ed. Katsuki would be hissing and sneering at his classmates for “stealing Deku’s spot” and it’s annoying but also kind of cute. They hear a lot about this Deku person, he’s tactically brilliant and a dirty fighter and doesn’t need a quirk to pound Katsuki into the ground. They’re shaking, imaging like a 7′ demonic beast. Only one day, the door to 1-A opens and its this sweet boy with curls and freckles and the friendliest smile like “Kacchan, you left your school books at my house again :)” And they collectively lose their shit that THIS is Deku. Then they watch him and Bakugou spar and its like, oh okay then, I am Afraid again.
Anyway, point being, I still think we could have had a compelling, interesting story if Bakugou was still his kind of douchey self but at the same time was Izuku’s best friend and biggest hype man.
