Had to get up to feed my cat and take meds and apparently reblog one genshin post. Now it’s back to the void of sleep
(I actually dreamt i was taking kacchan (my cat) traveling with me and he was very good on a leash. He was very good about people petting him and one guy made him sneeze by rubbing his lil nose. Zhongli also kept showing up.)

if you only have to watch one (1) genshin lore video, I highly recommend this one. not because it's a beginner-friendly guide to those new to the lore (it's not), but because the vibes of this theory are immaculate and explains like... the kinds of things that fascinate me about the game
paimon is consecrated for consumption, in a eucharist way. blood is wine is memories is life is power. ambrosia for ascension. the blood to the traveler's bones
there are so many things in the game that seem like innocuous off-hand comments but when put into a bigger picture, is so ???
like. do you ever think about how paimon likes to eat slimes because they are pure elemental energy, and she functions as the traveler's conduit for the elements similar to a vision for vision-wielders (even though she is not a vision)
Tumblr media
and what does this mean for the traveler who is hinted to be a star? how much can they consume before they "collapse under their own gravity", so to speak
I really have nothing to add, I just wanted to share how much I love the vibes of the content of this video. this is peak genshin theorizing to me

USS Intrepid (museum) - Pier 86, New York City by Andreas Komodromos
USS Intrepid (CV/CVA/CVS-11), also known as The Fighting "I", is one of 24 Essex-class aircraft carriers built during World War II for the United States Navy. She is the fourth US Navy ship to bear the name.
Commissioned in August 1943, Intrepid participated in several campaigns in the Pacific Theater of Operations, including the Battle of Leyte Gulf.
In August 1982, the ship opened at Pier 86 on the Hudson River in New York City as the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Four years later, Intrepid was officially designated as a National Historic Landmark.

Percy had to go to the vet today. Six hours of guttural yowling, wrestling with towels and cat and cat carriers, rescheduled appointments, trips out to buy new carriers, coaxing with treats, long-sleeved tops in extreme heat to protect arms from scratches, peeing in the carrier.
He was fine, just mild conjunctivitis.

Naval Maritime Academy
15+ years of experience at sea followed a decade-long teaching career.
Naval Maritime Academy
Capt Cusrow Mincher Homji
15 Years of Sea Experiences as Captain
Faculty In Naval Maritime Academy (NAMAC)
The joys of teaching Mariners
It's like being on a ship! An early morning wakeup call, a refreshing bath, donning freshly ironed clothes and voila, ready for navigation through the streets of South Mumbai, on passage to the Naval Maritime Academy , deep within the wooded lands of the defence area at the farthest southern tip of Mumbai.
Arriving at the gates of NAMAC one gets welcomed into a pristine estate located in silvan surroundings, much like a Gurukul of old, outfitted with modern equipment and training aids.
Amidst cheerful good morning greetings of staff and students alike one enters the faculty room. The banter here reminds one of times spent on ships with colleagues amidst laughter, the joy of everyday work, and a general bonhomie.
It's 0815 then and off we go to our classrooms to get things ready for our students; a motley set of boys and girls, wanna be sailors, also men and women already professional seafarers. Some come for new learning others for refreshers.
Always a joy to meet fellow sailors; such fun to be able to transfer one's knowledge and know how to young and old alike. A most satisfying job this; teaching at NAMAC. giving back to the community. More a rendering of service than a business venture! And therein lies the joy, the feeling that one is part of an intuition, one that is steeped in welfare as opposed to a mere institute dishing out only information!
The greatest joy lies in the learning we gain from teaching and that smile of happiness on the faces of students as they successfully pass out of the gates of NAMAC with lasting memories.
