Oh hey! How about another pro-tip?
Are you tired of your sims' 3D, skin detail eyelashes conflicting with their rings and other accessories? Are you fed up with downloading certain rings and other accessories only to find out you can't wear them with some skin details?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, this trick is for you! One of my dear OCs just got engaged and I found a beautiful ring for her! But when I put it on her, her eyelashes turned silver which made me want to throw large objects but then I remembered that Sims 4 Studio is our friend!
Take your eyelashes (we're probably all if not most of us, using Kijiko's skin detail version or the MM skin detail eyelashes but I only did this with Kijiko's) and switch them to a new category! I hardly ever use Occult Details so that's where we're going:

There's plenty of options to choose from here, it just depends on what you use and don't use.
Copy the file you want to relocate into your S4S mods folder and open it up:

Click on categories, find your Occult options, apply to all swatches, save the package, and BOOM!
*Note: The reason I used Kijiko's sunglasses version rather than the skin detail version is because for whatever reason, the skin detail version is tied to rings so even when I moved it, I got silver eyelashes with the ring she was wearing.

I used vampire cheeks because again, i'm not using anything in there that would conflict!
I did this same method with her engagement ring because Occult features stay on no matter what outfit you're in. So it saves time rather than adding the engagement ring to every outfit (unless you don't want them sleeping in it, makes sense).
Anyway, some of you may be on to changing categories in S4S to fit your gameplay, and some of you may not be. I hope this helps someone! Its super easy and will save you the headaches!

TFW your sugar daddy turns out to be the deity of a secret cult and wants to turn you into a goddess to be praised alongside him. The only real tough part of this was the horror element. Mainly because I didn't want it to be cliche. However, once I mixed occult things into it, it all came together.

PXL'S Anatomy of Screenshots

So you want to take better screenshots? There are multiple factors to consider, and if you don't enjoy tweaking reshade settings for every image, my ultimate method may not be for you. That being said, there are tips and resources in this guide that are applicable to everyone and you can select to explore those that are useful to your specific situation.
Disclaimer: I am not claiming to be an expert, nor am I offering to provide troubleshooting on an individual basis. This is a general guide and if you are unfamiliar with any of the concepts, please use the mighty power of the internet to find tutorials. I promise everything that I have learned over the years has been published and documented a thousand times better than I ever could.
There are five factors to address:
Your computer's inherent capabilities
The game's limitations
The mods you're using
Reshade
Post Processing
Graphics Card Settings & Drivers:
Become familiar with your graphic options. If you don't have a dedicated graphics card (i.e. a desktop or gaming laptop, these features may be unavailable and you should skip.)
I have an AMD Radeon Pro card which is designed for workstation level systems. It's overkill for sims, but useful for 3D rendering and modelling work. I have changed the following settings for DirectX 9 applications:
anti-aliasing - enhance application settings
anisotropic filtering - enabled
anisotropic filtering level - 16x
texture filtering quality - high
surface format optimization - high
Consider overclocking your graphics card to unlock it's full potential. DO NOT pursue this venture unless you are ok with the risk of burning out your card prematurely. I use at present, overclocked Bootcamp Drivers from BootcampDrivers.com obviously, if you're not playing on an intel based mac through Bootcamp, this is irrelevant to you.
None of these settings are useful until you address the default games limitations, which leads nicely into the next factor.
Addressing The Sims 4's Graphic Limitations:
Everyone should be familiar at this point with lighting mods, 4k, textures, disabling ssao, etc. but, I'm still going to spell it out. None of this is new information and has been covered many a time by various players ad nauseum.
remove ugly blue toned lighting in the world by choosing a lighting mod from @softerhaze here
overhaul your graphics.cfg file (i use a custom blend with features specific to me), however @simp4sims has done a ridiculous amount of work in providing a simple to install file that can be found here - read through their tutorials!! they have provided an excellent oversight of exactly what this does and why it matters
improve the indoor lighting for your sims - previously i used @luumia's no blu, no glo - recently i switched to @northernsiberiawinds better in game lighting mod here, though i have tweaked some of the settings to suit my own personal preferences
i don't use the HQ mod, i don't find that it makes enough difference for the amount of effort it requires to convert CAS CC
It should go without saying, but tweaking your graphics config file is absolutely useless if you can't play TS4 at it's maximum in game graphic settings!
The Mods You're Using:
Now that you've put in all this work into getting the game ready to make use of quality mods where do you start? Well, the CC you install matters. Whatever your preference, whether it be maxis-match, alpha or somewhere in between, priority should be given to using items textured in 2k or 4k resolutions, and specific attention should be paid to using wall and flooring textures with bump maps, and or high quality resolutions (this is important later for reshade if you intend to learn about ray tracing).
I will separately post a guide to creators with crispy textures because that is it's own novel.
Reshade:
Phew. Still with me?
There are many many many reshade presets out there, most are alike, but none employ ray tracing, and that is because a) it needs to be manually adjusted for every screenshot, b) they are paid shaders, and c) this requires advanced knowledge of reshade and a decent enough graphics set up that won't overheat - games running native ray tracing recommend a minimum VRAM of 8GB (please note RAM and VRAM are not the same) - i therefore do not recommend pursuing this option if your system does not meet those minimum requirements.

Start here to understand what ray tracing for reshade is. In my opinion, the shaders are well worth the price of $5 for the amount of work that has gone into creating them by the talented Pascal Gilcher. That link is a comprehensive starting point into expanding your knowledge of reshade and it's capabilities.
I have always created my own reshade presets from scratch, and while the core colorization settings I utilize remain largely the same, using ray tracing and re-light means every screenshot needs to be manually adjusted (lights repositioned, bounce and AO factors adjusted, etc) before being captured. @pictureamoebae just published a very timely post discussing the re-light shader and you can read it here.
Post Processing
Reshade does 99.99% of the work that traditionally would be accomplished in a photo editing software like photoshop. Occasionally, I need to adjust exposure manually, add depth of field manually, or color correct. Beyond that I use it to scale images to fit the resolution and file size limits of various platforms. Conceptually this reduces the amount of uncontrolled loss encountered when platforms like tumblr auto compress files that are too large. In reality, tumblr still makes images crappy compared to how they appear in my file folder.

I hope that this gives you a starting point into expanding your methodologies. My process is continuously evolving and I find this aspect of the game most entertaining. For others who don't enjoy this process, it's probably not worth it!

(Pro?) Posing tips

It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or if you already have made your way into blender. As a posemaker myself, I know how hard it is to make a realistic pose - here a few tips you have to think of when making poses, to get your pose to the next level.
(I use shibuisims sunflower rigs for my poses, but in base they work the same as the rigs you export from sims4studio, they only have some handy IK controls)
At first: take your time for details. The base of my poses are mostly done very quickly, but it’s all in the details. Fingers, face, mouth, hips. Take your time for the details. Details can make or fail a pose.
Simripper double textures If you make poses for your own story or edit, you mostly make them with your own textures (through simripper) right? But if you want to also send them to the community to download and use, don’t get rid of the original rig textures bij importing your own sim textures. By toggling off and on the textures under your rig in the scene menu, you can see how poses look on your own sims, but also on the ‘default sim rig texture’.
Elbows and shoulders and relaxation. I think I can best show this in pictures. If holding something we almost never raise our elbows unnatural high. They mostly are more ‘relaxed’ to our body. Lower the elbows! (It’s always good to have a little space for thicker sims ofcourse).

Can you see the difference? Hands I think these are the hardest to do. I still struggle with them sometimes. But the best thing to get the best hands is to have a reference OR make the hand yourself in relaxing state. I see it mostly in a pose in an ‘idle’ state that hands are cramped or straightened. Unless you want this in your pose, try to make a hand in relaxed state.

Shoulders I hope every posemaker that makes poses for already a while know this, but I think it's the most important step in starting making poses. Please, start your arm movements (mostly if you want to raise the arms) in the b_R_clavicle or b_L_clavicle joints.

Shoulders are important!
Weight It’s so important in realistic poses to add our gravity. I think this mostly checks out for holding other sims, piggyback poses etc. If you take someone on your back, your back struggles too right? It's heavy! Try to lower that b_ROOT_bind just a little more as what you expect to do in a pose. Don’t forget gravity always pulls us down!

Only a very small distance from the ground is needed sometimes.

Gravity holds our arms down too in 'relaxed' state.
Stiffnes Maybe we can add this to weight aswell, but as humans ourselves, if we are standing ‘idle’. We never stand right up with a straight back, feet perfectly straight next to each other. It’s the same if we sit on a chair, most of us hang a little to the back or to the front. Try to add that in your pose, if you do that - it’s immediately a less stiff pose!

It's only a slight bend in the back joints, but it already looks more natural.
Just remember, you learn by doing and watching. So I hope I can add some more insights to you, as a posemaker for a few years now, to make your poses even better and more realistic. My current sim is a photographer and I was disappointed by the lack of options for cameras in game, so I converted some more! Three of the cameras are from The Sims 4: Get Famous, one is from The Sims 4: Moschino Stuff, and the last is the Simmify Instant Camera by myshunosun. All of the cameras require The Sims 3: World Adventures to function.
The camera tripod and photography shelf are both by Around The Sims 3 here, and the wallpaper is by pixelfrogslegs here.

Hi Nonny! I am not entirely sure what you mean by this so I will give a bunch of general tips below. If this doesn't cover it or you want something expanded on, feel free to let me know!
Tips to keeping your blog neat & tidy!
Let me start off by saying it is your blog. Make it as messy as you want. However there are a few things you can do to make posts easier to see and read for yourself and your followers.
Tagging
Tag your posts. All of them. Have a different tag per save, story, gameplay, have one for asks, have one for reblogs. Have multiple tags! Tags galore!!! All of this will let you filter your posts to just the ones you want to see. If you tag every post with just "ts4" then you will not be able to find anything.
Example: Two of my saves have the individual tags "NSB" (for Not So Berry) and "Princess Legacy" but then I break them down even further by doing "NSB Gen 1" & "NSB Gen 2" so viewers can choose to view the project as a whole or just to search through one Gen.
Banners
This is ABSOLUTELY OPTIONAL but it makes your posts stand out from each other if you give each story/gameplay/save their own banner. It doesn't have to be extravagant. It can just be a color. Or even a pattern.

You can absolutely steal the dimensions of these banners (aka save them right from this post) to create your own.
Use Your Queue
One of the easiest ways to organize your blog is to organize your queue! If you have a lot of stories or posts, try to limit when/what days you are posting them so it looks more consistent on your blog.
Example: In a perfect world where I have consistent content this is also referenced in my timezone which is PST: NSB posts go up at 6 AM every WEEKDAY - I manually schedule these Gameplay posts (whatever gameplay I am currently into as this changes) 3 times a day on the hour every weekday 11 AM-1PM - this is my normal queue set up Reblogs of others post - Weekends, 3 times a day as my normal queue is set up for
When I was doing really well with content, I would queue up 15 posts of gameplay (3 posts a day for 5 days) then go into the sims tag and throw 6 reblogged posts into my queue. Then start over again so I could queue up months in advance.
Using this method for myself makes my blog feels more structured to me. It's just for my own peace of mind and keeps me more organized.
Blog Themes
One of the best creative flex this site offers you imo. You can customize your blog theme to make it fit what you want.
There are a TON of blog themes over theme-hunter. This must be done from desktop and is only for desktop. It cannot be changed via mobile. If you check out theme-hunter, go to the top right "MORE" button. If you are looking for a main page theme, search through the "All-In-One" tag. If you are looking for a story page like i have to showcase all your stories together, I usually look through the "Family/Favorites/Characters" tag.
Now this does require a very BASE knowledge of coding, which I cannot get into in this post. It's a bit of work. Start with a simple theme until you get it down.
PRO TIP: Make a private side blog for just yourself where you can test out the themes. That way if you break the code it doesn't break your main blog. Once the code is ready on your private blog, then you can just copy/paste it onto your main!
HERE is a quick guide on how to add a tumblr theme. If you have never done it before, it's a bit of a learning curve, but honestly it's sooo satisfying once it's done.

Customizing Your Blog
Putting this all together!
Your new story pages and blog pages can include links to the specific tags you are using on your posts! It's how others can find you content so it's organized!
So let's look at this tab on my blog:

This is part of my blog theme. I change it out to update whatever my blog is currently showcasing! It's part of the custom page and me going into the code to manually change it.
If you were to click any of the "Start" tabs (for the ones that have them) they would take you to the URL for the tag itself:
samssims.tumblr.com/tagged/nsb+gen+1/chrono [tumblr url] / [the word TAGGED to show you are searching the tag] / [the tag itself with + signs for spaces] / [the word CHRONO just means it will start at the beginning of the tag, useful for stories]
NOTE: These URLs only work on desktop/mobile browser. They do not work on the tumblr app.
Conclusion
And that's just a little bit about organizing your blog. But honestly it's your space. Just like your room IRL, you keep it the way you like it! This system works for me! If it helps you find your flow then I am happy to help!

Some points I’m tired to answer to in flows of DMs:
Many asks or DMs we get as creators are about how to create CC or mods. And it’s really really cool players are so interested in creating their own content and have many great ideas. Sure we can provide some help to some point, or share few tips and tricks or resources, but it’s ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE to teach someone how meshes, textures, tunings etc etc work from A to Z in DMs! Which leads to the 1st point:
Stop being lazy, and READ!
If there are absolutely fantastic tools to help you creating your own TS4 content and making the process easier/faster, there’s no way that without reading tutorials and just by dropping an ask or a DM you’ll be suddenly flowed with all the knowledge about how the game works. Explaining step by step the whole creation process, texture formats, meshing etc etc is insanely time-consuming (btw be super grateful to all the simmers who took the time to share tutorials!) and it’s impossible to be exhaustive via messages. So imagine when you have to repeat all this to 5,10 or 20 different persons... Knowledge is NOT a magic thing which happens by snapping your fingers, you have to work, search, READ, and LEARN. The creator you’re contacting can help you finding the good resources, give you some tips when facing a specific problem, but there’s absolutely no way they can do all the learning and reading for you and in your place.
Sims4Studio is a good place to start learning, there’s plenty very good tutorials there, and most of the issues/questions you’ll face have already been answered there. There’s also Discord servers for creators like Creator Musings.
Know how to use your tools/softwares!
Another point is many people wanna create CC without any knowledge of texture editing or 3D softwares (or modding without any knowledge of Python scripting). Same as 1st point, there’s no way to make you a Blender or Photoshop/Gimp pro via some DMs. You betta work, honey!

Yes it takes time, you won’t be a pro in 2 days, but you’ll feel so happy each time you’ll improve your skills. Have fun in the process of learning, try things, experiment. Making mistakes is how you’ll learn to master your tools and softwares. Same as 1. , there’s plenty tutorials on the Internet depending on the softwares you wanna use.
CC creation or modding isn’t rocket science, but it doesn’t mean it requires no skills at all!
Start with small and realistic projects
The “I wanna create a super complex mod but I know nothing about modding” or “I wanna make a complete hair, outfits etc collection from scratch with no knowledge of Blender or Photoshop”, no, not realistic at all.
Start small, and take the time to do it well! For CC just try a nice recolor for example. Then, once you understood how textures and texture editing work, you can try a retexture (and create normal and specular maps). And create more and more complex things as you’re improving your skills.
(We all started somewhere, my first CC and mods were absolute trash, so don’t feel bad if you don’t succeed at the beginning, that’s ok).
If you start with too ambitious projects you may get easily frustrated to not be able to achieve them like it was in your mind. So stay realistic and take all the time you need to improve your skills. Keep your more complex ideas/projects somewhere in a folder, and go back to them once you’re ready :)
And the most important thing: HAVE FUN!!!
That’s just human nature, learning is much more easier if you’re enjoying what you’re doing. Don’t do a creation because it’s “trending” or because the community asks for it if it’s not your cup of tea. Use your own ideas, don’t be afraid to think outside the box. This is a super creative community, open to very diverse styles and ideas.
Find what makes you happy. Do things you wanna play the game with. Put your heart and personality in your creations :) It may sound cheesy, especially when it comes to a bunch of pixels or scripting, but it is what it is.

Bonus stuff!
The epic proposal is over and these two are back to regularly scheduled programming for awhile.
Hope is no longer working in the Journalism career. She blew the lid off of a scandal involving a sex tape starring Judith Ward, Marcus Flex and Mayor Chopra complete with bribery, money laundering and mob ties. In order to protect her future, she needed to quit.
She is now Director of Communications for a prestigious PR Firm in Uptown San MyShuno (good thing they live across the street from that pretend subway station!)
Jayce is officially re-enrolled into UBrite (and not as a deco dude). He has 5 credits remaining before graduating so he's taking 3 this semester even though Hope only wants him to take 1.
He's gone part time at the wrekka sto to accomodate his rigid schedule.

ts4 pro gamer tip: if you go to evergreen harbor w a young adult sim and you try flirting with this elderly guy that lives in the container type house there is an older lady who will beat the fuck out of you with her purse. but she has to be on the lot so ur best bet is doing it in the community space of the more polluted area. it just happened to me it was crazy... maam let me get my dilf in peace please

When you're in high school and you're depressed, having suicidal thoughts every minute, wanting to leave. Knowing that it's a 1 hour walk to get home, and that you haven't eaten in 2 days. And on top of that you're afraid of other people, you don't feel like you belong, talking about so many high school students who seem to be alive...
My life is shitty, why still suffer, why not take the simplest decision (= die) life is too hard.

She had been waiting alone for some time before he came walking down the path, and when he finally saw her he quickly began to climb the tree to reach her.

"Thanks," he said, "Where's 'Tine?"
"Oh," she said, "He's ill, but we can still spend some time together, right?"

Théo rolled her eyes at him.
"I'm surprised your mum let you out alone."
Théo shrugged, "Mum's away right now. I asked dad instead and all I had to do was act as sweet as possible for a bit."

"That must have been so hard for you," Joseph grinned at her and Théo laughed.
"Oh, har, har, very funny," she went to box him on the arm for his joke...

... Except she must have hit him too hard, because all of a sudden he lost his footing in the tree and fell.
"Joseph!"
Théo scrambled down from the tree in a panic, seeing her friend on the ground, and she bent down to put his head in her lap.
"Oh no, no, no, no, no," she whispered, "Please, please, wake up."

Théo felt so relieved she could cry.
"Are you okay?!" She asked, "I'm so sorry! I thought I had killed you."

She noticed he carefully draped an arm around her waist, but she didn't mind.
"Let me look at you," she said, "I don't see any wounds or bruises."
"Théo," Joseph said, almost breathlessly, "Would you... kiss me?"
