A/n: big foot/Sasquatch/the yeti are all the same cryptid given different names by different parts of the world and even some parts of the same country. In the U.S. the indigenous people of the Pacific Northwest see big foot as the protector of the forest. When the forest has been threatened is when more big foot sightings happen.
The Wendigo is a spirit that the Algonquin people believe posses those who eat human flesh. Its more commonly associated with the winter months when food is scarce. They're never saciated and sightings of them say their lips are always bloody because they can never resist eating them. They're gaunt and amaciated frame along with the smell of death they carry alert someone to their presence. The closer their cry the further away they are and further away their cry the closer they are.

"Joe you don't think Jonathon had anything to do with this do you?" I asked
"That's exactly what I think!" He said still looking ahead but I could hear the anger in his voice. "I have to find Josh!"
"Well just call him!" I said
"We gargoyles don't communicate with phones but with our minds" he said
"Wait what?"
"I'm telepathic Scarlet! I can read minds and so can Josh and Jonathon!"
"So that's how you knew that I was wondering how much time I had before you got to my house!" I said realizing
He smiled "yep that's exactly how! Just like I knew the night we danced in your living room to the music you were aroused but not sure you could trust me yet. That's why I let you decide"
"It all makes sense now!" I smiled.
"And look there's Josh! Exactly where I told him to meet us!" He said. He flew down and landed letting me off his back before I handed him his sweatpants to put on. I must admit in my pregnant state it was much harder to resist him! Seeing him shirtless made every part of my body tingle with excitement! He looked like a-
"Scarlet?" Josh called out
"Huh?" I said
"When you're done undressing my cousin with your eyes why don't you join our little chit chat over here" he chuckled
"I'm sorry! Pregnancy hormones!" I giggled
"What?" Josh said his face suddenly falling.
"Josh it's ok! Drew came and told us about the prophecy! We know and he said our baby is the one to fulfill it!" Joe told him
"Drew told you? And you trust that hairy beast?!" Josh scoffed
"Hey we have more important issues to worry about then whether or not Drew is telling the truth or not! We just escaped a nuckalavee!" I said.
"A nuckalavee? The bringer of death?" Josh said
"Well that's not exactly comforting!" I said
"Josh I think your brother had something to do with it! I don't know for sure but with everything that's happened you're the only one who can find out for us and in the mean time have to stay hidden for a while! Who knows what other creatures are gonna come after us next!" Joe said
I suddenly heard the sound of tree branches snapping again "Joe!" I yelled
"Scarlet come here! You stay with Josh!" He said.
"Uce be careful!" Josh yelled.
I watched Joe disappear into the Forrest hoping it wasn't gonna be the last time I saw him.
Joe's Pov
As I walked into the Forrest I heard trees being smashed but an odd comfort came over me. I didnt feel threatened in fact quite the opposite! I walked deeper into the trees and came to a clearing and the trees branches snapping suddenly stopped and I heard a familiar voice. "Joe! Hello!" I turned around "Rami?" I said
"How are you?" Rami said pulling me into a hug. "I just out ran a nuckalavee with my girlfriend on my back!" I said
Rami pulled away and his face went white "Joe the nuckalavee is the first sign of the 30.year war!" Rami said
"My girlfriend is pregnant Rami!" I smiled.
"Really?" He smiled.
"Yes really! Come I'll take you to meet her!" I said before started to walk back through the brush with Rami behind me. A deep loan groan suddenly echoed through the forest. "Joe! Run!" Rami whispered.
"No I'm not leaving you to fight whatever that is by yourself!" I said
"Joe it's a Wendigo!" Nothing is safe not even me when it sets it's sights on us! We have to go! NOW!!" Rami said.
"Get on my back Rami and I'll fly us out of here" I said changing into my gargoyle form. Rami climbed on my back and I flew out of those woods as fast as I could before seeing field and Scarlet and Josh.
Safe!
"Rami!" Josh yelled giving him a hug.
Rami hugged Josh and looked over and saw Scarlet. "You must be the witch" he smiled
"Um... I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing!" She said
"It's ok Scarlet he's a friend!" I said.
"You really are very beautiful! Joe's a lucky man!" Rami smiled at her.
"Thank you but it's me who's the lucky one" she said smiling at me.
"Rami stop flirting with my girlfriend" I said trying to act upset.
"Joe don't tease the poor man!" She said.
"Oh I'm not a man! I'm a Sasquatch!" Rami said changing into his true self.
"Oh my gods! Is there anything that doesn't exist?!" She laughed.
"Well... No!" I said
Scarlet's POV
"Joe why are you out here" Rami asked.
"Someone sent the nuckalavee after us and I'm pretty sure it was Jonathon because we had him tried for attacking Scarlet and Loki helps save her!" Joe said
"Wait what? Why would Jonathon do that?" Rami asked
"Hes never wanted us together and tried to make a deal with loki to kill me but loki refused and turned on Jonathon" i said.
"This doesn't make any sense though! Why would-" Rami stopped "there's only reason why! Jonathon is the one to start the 30 year war!"
All 3 of us looked at Rami and in unison said "he what?"

BUFFY REWATCH - S05E14 - Crush
*Inside UC Sunnydale. Tara, Buffy, and Willow are walking along the hallways*
WILLOW: “I just don’t see why he couldn’t end up with Esmerelda. They could have the wedding right there. Beneath the very bell-tower where he labored thanklessly for all those years.”
TARA: “No, see, it can’t, it can’t end like that, ‘cause all of Quasimodo’s actions were selfishly motivated. He had no moral compass, no understanding of right. Everything he did, he did out of love for a woman who would never be able to love him back.
*They come to a vending machine and stop walking. Tara digs in her purse. Willow looks in hers as well*
Also, you can tell it’s not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy’s all bumpy.”
*Willow takes some money out of her purse and hands it to Tara, who smiles and turns to the vending machine*
WILLOW: “What did you think, Buffy?”
BUFFY: “The test isn’t till tomorrow, right?
*Shrugs*
I don’t have an opinion till then.”
WILLOW: “But, you read it, right?”
BUFFY: “Kinda not. I rented the movie.”
TARA:
*Takes her snack out of machine*
"Oh, with, um, with Charles Laughton?“
BUFFY: "I don’t know. Was he one of the singing gargoyles?”
WILLOW: “Oh boy.”
*They all begin to walk off*
BUFFY: “What? I’m kidding!”
Willow and Tara are talking about a test that they have to study for for one of their classes that they take together - presumably English since the assignment of study appears to be on the literature 'The Hunchback Of Notre Dame’. They are having a debate on Quasimodo’s unrequited love for Esmerelda, and Tara brings up the implications of a love not reciprocated to argue her point of view being that Quasimodo shouldn’t have ended up with Esmerelda, when Willow’s point of view is that of that he should have.
I do love when the theme of the episode is foreshadowed early into it. See, the episode is called 'Crush’ and it’s primarily about Spike’s crush on Buffy, who at the moment is “chastised” by the chip in his head that prevents him from hurting civilians similiar to the way Quasimodo is “chastised” by his hunchback condition and his ugly “bumpy” facial features that prevents him from living amongst civilians who would only see him as a “monster”, that would hurt them, and not like a “man”.
So the theme here is 'Man VS Monster’. Quasimodo is used as a metaphor for Spike’s character in this episode - and arguably for his entire redemption arc. His love for Buffy is so severely unreciprocated that he begins to force himself on her in very violating ways going forward in the show from this episode that ultimately leads to the physical force of rape/sexual assault. The scene in the previous episode, where he rehearses in front of 'mannequin Buffy’ in practice of giving Buffy a birthday gift, showed us that he felt some guilt for telling her about Riley’s nightly outings to that vampire “suckjob” den. It was a selfishly motivated act because it was in the effort to get Buffy to leave Riley and to get with him. But it never played out that way, and so Spike feels desperate times call for desperate measures. In this episode he harrases Buffy to get her to admit her feelings for him.
A complication arises in Druscilla’s return to Sunnydale. Her intention? To get Spike back and revert him to the evil “monster” he once was before the government put that chip in his head. She succeeds in getting him to feed off humans again, and so now Spike has even less chance of being with Buffy. He goes as far as chaining her up in his crypt and threatens to kill Druscilla in a desperate attempt to prove to Buffy how serious he is about being with her and about how much he loves her - to which she shows no reaction to other than scorn. And so she should. It’s an extremely violating and exploitative act to coerce her to saying 'yes’ to feeling something through force and threats.
Like Tara said about Quasimodo in her debate with Willow,… Spike had love for a woman who would never be able to love him back, and is indeed acting like the “monster” more than the “man”. Does he deserve Buffy? Does Buffy deserve him? At this point in the show, not at all. They are far too abusive to each other and any relationship that could develop from it would be doomed by it unless one of them would go to a drastic effort to end that abusiveness.
BUFFY: “Oh… oh no.
*Turns back to Spike*
Are you out of your mind?”
SPIKE: “It’s not so unusual.
*Walks toward her*
Two people… in the workplace… feelings develop.”
BUFFY: “No! No, no, feelings do not develop. No feelings.”
SPIKE: “You can’t deny it. There’s something between us.”
BUFFY: “Loathing. Disgust.”
SPIKE: “Heat. Desire.”
BUFFY: “Please! Spike, you’re a vampire.”
SPIKE: “Angel was a vampire.”
BUFFY: “Angel was good!”
SPIKE: “And I can be too. I’ve changed, Buffy.”
BUFFY: “What, that chip in your head? That’s not change. That’s just… holding you back. You’re like a serial killer in prison!”
SPIKE: “Women marry 'em all the time!”
BUFFY: “Uhh!”
SPIKE:
*Realizing that’s not what he meant*
“But I’m not… like that. Something’s happening to me. I can’t stop thinking about you.
*Buffy turns away*
And if that means turning my back on the whole "evil” thing-“
BUFFY:
*Turns back*
"You don’t know what you mean! You don’t know what feelings are!”
SPIKE:
*Offended*
“I damn well do! I lie awake every night!”
BUFFY: “You sleep during the day!”
SPIKE: “Yeah, but… you are missing the point. This is real here. I love-”
BUFFY: “Don’t!
*She puts up a hand to stop him. He sighs*
Don’t say it.
*Spike stares at her*
I’m going.”
*She starts to walk toward the door again*
SPIKE: “Oh, come on, we need to talk-”
BUFFY:
*Turns back*
“We don’t need to do anything! Okay?! There is no 'we’! Understand?!”
*She turns to leave*
SPIKE: “Buffy.”
*She opens the door and exits. Spike watches her go*
Spike’s crush on Buffy has developed into an overwhelming obsession and he has now become dangerous in others ways than just in not being able to physically hurt her. Death and violence as the “monster” is all he knows, and therefore, he conflates and confuses it with love and passion as the “man”. He does not understand the difference between these emotions and experiences.
But here’s the thing - neither does Buffy as far as her and relationships go. While she doesn’t reciprocate the love Spike has for her… She too is caught up in the conflation and confusion of emotions and experiences. So the theme of 'Crush’ is also 'Woman VS Slayer’. And the question has to be asked as Buffy is Esmerelda in this metaphor, and she does get chained up… Is she “chastised” too? Does being the Slayer prevent her from living like a woman just the same as it prevents Spike (Quasimodo) from living like a man? And is that why she cannot make love relationships work?

Hey can you go off on your "Cat used to be a person" theory and "Garys are low grade mind messers" cause Hieroynmous is a dog and there is a demon prince and worldwide amnesia going on so literally no theory is too crazy to be ignored rn and i wanna be prepared emotionally
Okay so, I’m not exactly convinced that the cat was a person, but Higgelmas did say he’s given “many people” the choice to help him over the years and referred to a “network of spies,” so any animal we see could ~theoretically~ be someone doing reconnaissance work on Higg’s behalf! But more seriously, with all the rifts popping up (not to mention my other crack theory about parallel timelines lol), I’m more and more convinced with every episode that this cat has more relevance than just a Schrödinger goof.
Now onto the marginally more developed Gary Brainwashing theory: Higglemas said that not only do people remember the Godscar Chasm always existing, but also that people never seem to think about it for too long. I think that the Garys are responsible for the latter effect, and here’s why:
The Unbroken Chain has thought about the Godscar Chasm a lot, presumably unbeknownst to Higg. And thanks to their hideouts like Mosh’s room in the forge, Sabour’s office, and Jackle’s balcony, the UC has access to something no one else in the school does — rooms without Garys. The shimmering curtains might not just ward against eavesdropping, but also against some form of mind control magic transmitted from the Garys that subtly dissuades people from thinking too hard about the GSC.
So Higglemas regularly knocks out his Gary while conducting shady business, meaning he’s avoiding his full dose of Gary brainwashing (or Garywashing, as I will henceforth call it), and similarly the Unbroken Chain members frequent Gary-free areas, especially in the situations in which they’d be talking about the GSC with other members in the first place. There aren’t a lot of people in the world with reasons to regularly think about the GSC outside of people living/working at the school, and anyone who arrived from out of town to research it would presumably spend a lot of time on campus, becoming susceptible to the Garywashing.
This doesn’t explain how false memories of the GSC were apparently implanted in people all over Nua, which was likely by a different mechanism or spell (and has some unique associated questions, like why only Higglemas was immune), but I have one more piece of evidence:
@iwnattodye theorized a while back that the demon prince is Fraz-Urb’luu, who is known as the Prince of Deception in D&D lore... and also resembles a gargoyle, meaning he may be the mastermind behind the network of Gary spies. This is one of my favorite Graduation theories at the moment, and it’s relevant here because Fraz-Urb’luu can cast the spell Modify Memory, meaning that any Garys he created in his image could plausibly also have brainwashing/memory-altering abilities, as well as their obvious surveillance function.
This is turning into a very long post, but I have one last tangentially related thought: if Fitzroy ends up artificing a crown to protect himself from enchantment spells, then he may unknowingly also end up avoiding brainwashing from the Garys or even the demon prince of deception himself.
The Garywashing is ultimately still a crack theory, but like you said, anything is possible and it doesn’t hurt to be emotionally prepared for the consequences!

I had a bit of free time, so I converted some objects from the Sims 4: Vampires Pack. Let me know if there are any issues, and there might be because I’m kind of rusty at this. The bassinet is infant only, and it is not BG compatible. My hospital bassinet with the same coding crashed the base game on my other computer. I’m going to say that the bassinet needs all EPs, which might not be true, but you can’t have AGS with UC, so I can’t test. The bat mobile (lol) on the crib is detachable and is sold in the Kids section for $5, I believe. The deco book (not pictured) is in Hobbies, Gargoyles are in statues.

Dakini Software (1972)
Recorded at St. Marks Church in New York City on November 8, 1972, John Giorno presents a lengthy excerpt from his poem “Dakini Software.” Giorno is well known for his provocative sound and performance poetry that blends a bohemian sensibility, radical sexual politics, and spiritual practice. All these elements are featured in this echo-laden rendition of “Dakini Software,” which mixes the metaphors of a female, tantric and Tibetan Buddhist deity, or embodiment of enlightened energy, with the concept of computerized instructions to impart the idea of what has been called “brainwashing based on Eastern wisdom.”

This recording, first broadcast on December 1, 1969, contains five text-sound compositions by John Giorno. Created using multiple tape decks and a MOOG synthesizer these works feature both male and female voices with some minimal electronic manipulation such as reverb and delay. The words themselves are broken up into phrases that are often repeated in full or in part. The subject matter is varied and at times open to interpretation but recurring themes include war and sex.
A Reading by John Giorno & William Burroughs (November 7, 1974)
Charles Amirkhanian and Victor Bedoian introduce a live reading before an audience of over 1,000 at the Pauley Ballroom of UC Berkeley given by America's most noted writers, William S. Burroughs and John Giorno. Giorno (b. 1936) reads his newest work "Subduing Demons in America" and his "Suicide Sutra". Burroughs reads from "Nova Express" , "The Wild Boys" and other works.

Joe's POV
I felt a familiar presence that wasn't scarlet. I sat up in bed staring out the window.in the moonlight I saw the familiar shine of a fellow gargoyles eyes. "Jonathon what are you doing here?" I thought
"You put us in danger for her!" He said
"I love her!" I said
"You have to leave her uce! Our safety is more important!"
"No! I won't!" I said sternly
"I was afraid you'd say that. I didn't wanna have to do this but you leave me no choice Joe" he said
"Jonathon I don't care what you do! I won't leave her! I would die!" I said
Jonathon hung his head "I know shes your Mate"
"She's my what?" I said my eyes widing.
"She's your mate! That's why you can't stay away from her. Without her you would actually die and the same for her" he sighed.
"But she's mortal Jonathon. she can't be my mate" I said
"No uce she isn't. She doesn't know it either but she's the great granddaughter of a witch. Her powers just haven't awoken yet. However when they do and they will soon because of her love for you, she will be one of the most powerful witches ever known!"
It took me a second to take in what he just told me. The woman I loved was a witch and a very powerful one at that. I knew there was a reason I was so attracted to her. A smile formed on my face realizing what this meant. "I don't have to leave her!" I said
"No uce you don't!" He said hanging his head.
"Why did you want me to leave her so badly and why do you look so guilty? Jonathon what did you do?" I felt my fists clench but Jonathon suddenly flew off. I felt the bed move Scarlet must've woke up.
"Joe?" She said rubbing my back "is everything ok?"
I turned my head to look a her "It's fine baby. Just a bad dream go back to sleep" I said turning to give her a kiss. She laid back down and fell back to sleep. I smiled before lokming back at the window and anger forming on my face. Whatever Jonathon was planning wasn't going to be good. Knowing what I know now I was thrilled I didn't have to leave her. The beautiful woman who laid next to me was my mate And I would protect her with my life just as I knew she would me. I had to find out what Jonathon was up to. The way he was acting was strange and I couldn't read his thoughts any deeper then what he was telling me. Someone was blocking my abilities and I had to find out why.
I laid back down and stared at the ceiling hoping I would drift back off to sleep but my mind was to busy racing with thoughts. That was until Scarlet cuddled up next to me. Her scent filled my nose and my heart started to slow down. My eyes got heavy and I drifted off to sleep.
