Sometimes @captain-aralias writes a fic with such timeless themes of Simon and Baz being idiots that I have to meme-ify them.

This is one of those times.

Without spoiling too much in case you haven't read it yet - in which case get on that, the final chapter just dropped and it is a feast of amazingness - the metaphorical flames in this case represent the most intense game of wedding chicken ever to be played as the centrepiece of a truly inspired take on fake engagement.

Unintended chapter 5 ....

is 14,024 words and ... let's not say finished, but it's a finished draft! whoop whoop whoop.

i can't tell you when it will come out, since now it's @asticou's baby - but i got past the serious hurdle of not having written it, so - hopefully not too long! i'm going to write something else now. i'm also thinking about cutting this into two chapters, since it's as long as two chapters, but i probably won't.

so, here are eight sentences to whet your appetite:
