I wish people stop downplaying the racism that ingrained in Bonnie’s plot because comparing her and Hayley is not the serve you think it is. Did Hayley have a it bad? Yes, but in no way was she treated as a plot device the way Bonnie was lol.

I think Tati Gabrielle or Jaz Sinclair could be a good fit for children of Klaus and Bonnie.

Is it me or is it much easier to fancast Klonnie daughters than Klonnie sons? It might be a Bennett witch thing or the fact that Klaus is already a girl dad in canon and I love that. Neither Tati or Jaz really feel like Klonnie kids to me. I love them both but there isn't much likeness to Bonnie AND Klaus. Both would make good Bennetts though.

And I love Bennett witch fancasting! Because Jaz Sinclair already plays Beatrice, how about we switch the roles between Beatrice and Lucy! Beatrice doesn't get the appreciation she deserves. We only knew her briefly but she ate. I don’t think we need any more doppelgängers okay (there were too many!). There is nothing wrong with Lucy or Lucy’s actress. It is just harder to find material for Lucy to create with. Jaz is more visible and easier to work with. Let Bonnie play the older cousin role in this instance. She’s maternal and compassionate to all her friends Cousin Beatrice deserves the same. Instead of Lucy being enslaved to Katherine temporarily, let Bonnie go out and seek other Bennett witches when she is off screen and not with her friends.

We can’t talk about Beatrice Bennett without praising Jaz with her leading role as Marie Moreau. If you haven’t seen Gen V or even The Boys. I think as many others have said online Marie is the perfect love child of Bonnie and Katara from ATLA!

I don’t think Tati looks like Kat or Joseph but I’d love to see her as a Bennett witch too. The energy she had with her portrayal as Prudence would align perfectly in the family. In this gif in particular it reminds me of the vampire hunters/huntress arc which the hunters curse was created by unknown Bennett witch…

We really deserved to see more of this bloodline by themselves not being utilized to uplifts every white characters storyline. No one in TVDU has feats that matches with the Bennett’s! They are defined as blessed. We needed more Bennett witches kicking ass together. I’m mad that we don’t have it! When I think of face claims or fancasting for Klonnie's kids, I go based on vibes and looks. If there isn't any resemblance between Bonnie and Klaus physically, then I just can't picture it.

had he been able to breathe,     the way she’d moved around him would have caught his breath.    at its highest point,  hitched in his throat and forced to truly re-evaluate the way he saw certain things.    rafe wasn’t a simple person,  by any means.    but with elena,  there’s a semblance of normality that resides between their undeniably complex relationship.   bound together by external forces,  but kept together almost by a mutual understanding.    some twisted mutual gratification they garnished from one another,  and he had no shame in admitting it internally.    it’s the external admission she sought,  that he had trouble releasing.    cerulean irises scan along the span of her arm,  before traveling along blonde locks to her own eyes.    goosebumps left in a trail along the ridges of his neck where her palms once traveled.    large palm splayed across elena’s hip,  grasping at the curve of it in a possessive manner.    notching her closer to him,  to where her legs parted and she was pulled into his lap.    neck craned up slightly to look to her from this new vantage point.   “what matters to me is making sure klaus gets what he needs.”   with his own ulterior motives.   “you’re apart of that,  so yeah,  you matter to me.  don’t be pissy that it’s not in the way you want it to be.”

NO BECAUSE WITH THE WAY BONNIE, TYLER, AND ENZO WERE WRITTEN, I’M ACTUALLY STUNNED AT HOW RACIST JULIE PLEC IS.

Like Michael Trevino is a non white fully Mexican man, Kat is a white Jewish/African American woman, and Michael Malarkey is a mixed man with Palestinian/Lebanese (Arab) heritage… what do Enzo, Tyler, and Bonnie have in common? LAZY AND/OR BAD WRITING. Enzo, like Bonnie and Tyler, had a compelling character and personality and storyline potential, but noooooo. Even if he wasn’t the most compelling love interest for Bonnie (which I also think was lazy writing), HE WAS DONE WRONG. THERE COULDVE BEEN MORE DONE WITH HIM.

Even in TO, POC aren’t done well. While POC are done better in TO than TVD, I don’t like how they did Marcel. Nope. I ain’t with the Marbekah train, and the Mikaelsons vilified that man when he was right about A LOT of things. AND THEY STAYED AT THE SAME HOUSE THAT HE WAS A SLAVE AT. THAT SHIT WAS WEIRD. But yeah, they made it very clear that it didn’t matter how close to the family Marcel was, he was never one of them. And maybe I’m reaching, but it reminds me of how in some white families that adopt black kids, they treat the black kid completely different than their biological children and I don’t like those undertones… but maybe it’s just me overthinking. And the thing is, she didn’t HAVE to write the Mikaelsons like that. Plec could’ve emphasised the family bond that the mikaelsons had with Marcel and how much it hurts for both Klaus and Marcel to be at odds with one another, but noooooo. They treated Marcel like that one “problem child” that’s iced out of the family.

But the racism carries on into Legacies because you cannot TELL ME that Alaric of all fucking individuals had a more compelling storyline than MG or RAF.

Not even in Legacies but in TVD, but remember Sarah Salvatore? The black Salvatore? SHE WAS DONE WRONG. COULD’VE HAD A GOOD STORYLINE.

Like people seem to think that the racism was only with Kat (and to be fair, she’s one of the only ones who has been outspoken about the racism), but as I look back at the TVDU more, it’s actually worse than I thought.

Vincent, Marcel, Bonnie, Tyler, Enzo, I’m definitely forgetting some, but the list goes on and on and on.

Yeah, Kat wasn’t the only one. Bonnie fans were rallying for years when the show aired and stopped airing. So that voice of fans naturally seems louder.

Open Starter for Female Muses | Dominic Angel-Wetherly

Over the last hour, Dominic had been watching a beautiful young woman through the glass window of a local bar. Just across the street from where he was standing. It was his way of stalking his victims before getting the chance to approach them, and using the same routine his father would do whenever he's out for a quick snack.

Snatch, eat and erase.

Sometimes, he would compel them by telling them to keep calm and not to scream. He would then proceed to sink his fangs into their necks and consume as much blood as he would like. He'll have to be careful not to take too much as they are likely to pass out in front of him. And he wouldn't want that.

His thoughts were interrupted when the front door of the bar opened and the woman stepped out. Dominic took notice of her balance becoming unsteady and it became clear to him that she most definitely had a little too much to drink. He didn't like the idea of human blood being mixed together with alcohol and it doesn't matter if she had more than one glass of beer or a bottle of wine. He thought it would be best for her to get sobered up, allow her time to relax and get comfortable before knowing for certain she'll be alright. His plan was to comfort her, not to cause her harm, terror and nightmares. He wouldn't want that to happen to her nor would he even consider it.

With his vampire speed, Dominic approached the woman, standing at least a few inches from her. His ocean blue eyes stared directly at hers and the corner of his mouth curved up in a small smile. Small enough to not show his teeth. Or rather, his fangs. But that will come later. Slowly, he crouched down and extended his arm out to reach for her hand in the event she had already lost balance and fell on the sidewalk. He hoped she wouldn't be frightened or startled by his sudden appearance and without hesitation, he spoke to her in a low, deep voice.

"Do you mind if I walk you home? It's not safe for a young woman like you to be wandering around the streets alone. I will protect you and you have my word that no harm will come to you."

Mystic Falls is... quaint. There's really no other way to describe the town that her father and his siblings have a connection to. Even in the modern age, it's quiet in a way that Hope isn't accustomed to, and it always feels a little bit like people are watching. She honestly pats herself on the back a little for eluding Elijah for so long, and she's throwing caution to the wind by doing this. She jogs down the steps outside the church, toward the tomb that her uncle had come back to at least twice now. Something, or someone was down there and Hope is never going to learn anything by eavesdropping on high school students. There's a body propped up against a wall inside, and she can't quite make out her features, so Hope inches closer, eyes widening as she recognizes the woman. She'd seen her portrait only one time, right before her father had flown into a terrifying range. Her hair and clothes are obviously different, but the features are the same. Pulling out a bloodbag from her bag, Hope tears it open and holds it under the pallid, dessicated face, waiting for her eyes to open. "So...what'd you do to piss off an Original?" // @malka-lisitsa
