New single! Got hired to do another track for Requiem Cafe's homestuck event.

They asked me to do a dance track, so I wanted to try something i'm not as used to. Decided on a future funk feel, but I didn't want to jump through the hoops of licensing a city pop song so I just made one myself (with guitar from Ash) and sampled it. It came out kinda fun, but I'd have loved to have a little more time with it.

can someone please explain the huge upswing of interest with ‘atmospheric drum n bass’ other than it slaps? I’m not against it but there’s gotta be a reason or some huge account on twitter or something that must be sharing these mixes like wildfire and people keep making them all the time now with the occasional Bryce 3D art or just memes mixed with retro game footage.

its actually written in some places but Vaporwave isnt acually their name. its a nickname coined up by a passing stranger they met once and it stuck with them ever since

first meetings usually go something like "i dont actually have a name, call me whatever ya want- but a real popular choice with folk is Vaporwave" and usually people take that as their name anyway.

they dont really care what you call them, be it any insult or slur in the book they'll respond. because what else are they good for in the end of it all, anyway? when all your life you have nothing going on for you

maybe its a little sad, considering how loud, friendly and happy they seem to everyone else. (maybe except Kosuke)

it is time for the Kai to go on a ramble about SAR gun and melee skins! the skins ofc don't really do anything advantage wise, they just make the guns and melees look different, so this is just me going "this is what they'd prefer to have their main weapons look like"

anywho so skins:

for Kokichi's i image he'd prefer the most gaudy skins possible, but neither main gun i chose for him really have super gaudy skins. -the closest i could get for the Hunting rifle is the Fish skin, cause the fish pattern is a bit rough on the eyes, but all of the skins are actually really simple and nice to look at -the Thomas gun thankfully has something more Kokichi's speed. i thought about the peppermint one cause it's bright fucking red, but i think he'd prefer the party skin cause it's got more clashing colors on it -His melee was really hard cause there's ALOT of ridiculous melee skins (from giant sandals to fucking sticks of ram) but i think this mallet would be his choice. reason being is because one- heehoo cartoon joke, and two- you get it by winning a solos match with nothing but a melee weapon (no guns, no throwables, just a thing to bonk people with) and he'd carry it with pride as the "i need to do things the hard way in video game at all times" gamer he is

i was going to say Shuichi is easier to do because he'd be looking for aesthetically pleasing skins, but unfortunately both guns i gave him have significantly less of those. -for his AK i decided to give him the skin i have on mine- the Skeleton one - cause it's honest to go the coolest skin you can get for the AK right now, and i think Shuichi's alt ass would like it to -there are are very few options for Shuichi's SMG due to they don't get the best skins, i decided on the Desert skin cause it's the least gaudy of the ones he could access. the other options were one covered in paw prints, and a fucking pink cake skin -Shuichi's melee is the steampunk sword cause it's cool as FUCK and you cannot convince me he wouldn't think the same and impulse buy it when he saw it in cackling carl's
