Where must we go, we who wander this wasteland, in search of things to knock off shelves.

( WARNING: SPOILERS FOR FO4 BLIND BETRAYAL) I'm gonna do one on Ajax soon! Here's my sole survivor, Nate. Yeah, I went with the og name provided in the game but hey... I kinda suck at names lol.
As for who Nate is. He is a former Paladin from the BOS. He turned to the raiders after months of spiraling down hill after the murder of Paladin Danse (blind betrayal bad end). Basically hero turned villain. I do have a story on Nate on Archive of our Own, called Reversed Ending. (That ive yet to update 😅)

a bystander: both of you are focusing on the wrong thing
anyway! this is a comic from the vault™! it was originally something goofy I drew for myself after I read a couple of different takes on this whole event (Crassus leaving Rome in 63 BCE, see Plutarch Pompey 43). like.
the phrasing is giving late night teleserye plot drama.
and this literally sounds like something a friend has told me about someone else's relationship drama with their sometimes ex. but like. on a less high stakes stage.
ALRIGHT, moving on. some stuff that was Fun To Read, To Me
Crassus' New Friends and Pompey's Return, Eve J Parrish
Crassus: a Political Biography, B.A. Marshall
speaking of titles, fascinated by how this part of crassus' life gets defined by pompey's absence/return. hello fellas!
AND FINALLY inspiration for Pompey's comment about perpetuating cycles of violence comes from this delightfully dramatic bit of writing
Marcus Crassus and the Late Roman Republic, Allen Mason Ward

I totally forgot about my other ocs in the fallout series…. 😅
This is Damion from Fallout 3. Haven’t played the game too much but I remember drawing this a while back.
(Ps. Finna art dump since it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything)

Rise TMNT headcannon time, because its driving me insane keeping it to myself.
Donny secretly built a bunker under the Lair.
(He watched too many apocalypse movies as a child and very much felt the need for it.) It was big enough for his family (including April) to stay in there comfortably with enough supplies to last years. (It also had a backup lab for his own sanity.)
When they had to move to the subway station, Donny built another one. This one was bigger. He had more people he wanted to protect now, it had to be bigger. Better. More importantly, safer. he’d seen just a fraction of what the world could throw at them by that point and couldn’t risk anything being a threat to his family. It took him the entire two years between the series and the movie to make it, but he did.
During the Apocalypse timeline, Donny’s bunkers (plural) were the only reason they made it as long as they did. They were the only truly safe spaces left, and even after (what was probably about) twenty years of fighting, the Krang were never able to access them.

Vault-Boy synth that is absolutely hated by all wastelanders and vault experiment survivors for representing Vault-Tec and praised in such an alienating and dehumanizing way by still surviving vault dwellers.
All this while having to actively figure out how to be alive for the first time ever AND in a world plastered with warped abominations of the past physically and ideologically along with his face.

Excuse the bad quality of my camera but YALL. I was geeking out so hard when I got this. All I ordered was the fusion core, but HandmadeFallout (Etsy) added all these extra bits I'm so happy
