Velvet Worm (Phylum Onychophora)

Habitat & Distribution

Velvet worm species can be found in tropical habitats throughout the Southern Hemisphere

They reside in rainforests, where they take cover under leaf litter or rotting wood

Physical Description

Length: Depending on species, length may be anywhere from 0.1 and 22 cm (0.04–8.66 in)

The number of legs may vary from 13 to 43 pairs

Velvet worms are brightly coloured, generally orange or red, but can also be green, blue, gold, or white with varying patterns

The body is coated in a fine layer of overlapping scales called papillae, which give it a velvety appearence

Most velvet worms have long, pointed antennae which are used to detect prey

Behaviour

Velvet worms are ambush predators, feeding on a variety of insects including woodlice, termites, and crickets

Some species can form complex societies, composed of up to 15 individuals which live and hunt together

Main predators of velvet worms include spiders, centipedes, rodents, and birds

Key Advantages

Velvet worms move in a smooth, creeping motion which can be difficult for prey to detect

Individuals can squirt an adhesive slime from their mouths

Venner is a fucking child

Instead of accusing me of nasty stuff and coming to me with this remark let me educate you because you seem like a chronically online individual. Here is why there is proof to believe that veneer is a older age in his teens.

And if you look at his crime you can see that he was charged for fraud and tax evasion.

Reason 1:tax evasion and age

Tax evasion is an illegal activity in which a person(adult or 18-19 year old) or entity deliberately avoids paying a true tax liability. Those caught evading taxes are generally subject to criminal charges and substantial penalties. To willfully fail to pay taxes is a federal offense

Regardless of age, a company or a individual are generally required to file a tax return if they earn an amount of money that exceeds the basic personal amount but you do get charged as an adult if you are 18+ if you are a child with a job(15-16) you aren’t obligated to do your own taxes and your guardian would be in charge of it.

So why is this relevant?? Well that somehow proves that velvet and veneer are legal in age. But I do agree with the incest and minor x adult ship being gross but as for me writing about him or sexualizing isn’t a problem. So go worry about better things than worrying about a teen girl simping for a zest fest.

Reason 2: teens talk sex and have intimacy

I’m your teenager years, there are a lot of hormones coursing through a boy and girls body. This is necessary for puberty. However, because your body is so amped up with increased sexual hormones, you are probably getting sexual thoughts all of the time -some appropriate & some not appropriate. You can't help it. And veneer and velvet being canon teenagers probably think and even commit those acts( even if it’s a kids movie teens still think about and have sex)

Teens have sex all the time around the world so stop acting like veneer and teenagers as a whole are the Virgin Mary. I myself as a teenager thinks about sex and as you can see I write about it and it’s proven by doctors normal for teens to talk about it. Do not treat a literal pixel as a 5 year old who needs his mommy to hold his hands. Chill out bro. If you want to accuse me of being a full blown creep don’t use the anonymous option you coward.

-a bit younger than v&v, around a few months

-birthday is december 21st

-actually quite extroverted, but once she’s had enough social time, she’s done 

-HORRIFIED of mouses

-one time there was a mouse when she went to visit vel and she jumped on top of a counter and cried for like a hour

- idk why she js looks like one

-when v&v get out of prison and take voice lessons, they eventually start making singles again and she gets featured as a backing vocalist😎

-yes my girl can sing she is just a bit shy

-loves the hunger games movies

-probably reads and writes fanfiction

-says some outrageous things when it’s late at night

-middle name is violet

-very close with ritz, he’s her boy bestfriend

-they got close because of all the double dates with the twins

-blasted criminal by britney spears while wailing for days when velvet got arrested

-ritz joined her and they went through 20 boxes of tissues and 5 boxes of chocolate 

-but she did visit vel in prison a lot and made sure she was eating 

-because vel refused to eat the jail food

-she wears her hair up so much and for so long that when she takes it down it dents and stays in the air

-so vel will have to spray it with water and brush it down and it takes sooo long

-wears her hair in 2 braids when she goes to sleep

-LOOOVES into the night from bath and body works and owns every product of it 

-she has POTS (me too sister✊)

-her skincare routine is literally a cold washcloth and she manages to have flawless skin
