sometimes when i think i think about a blind fragile! reader with like the blindfold thingy seen with glory (the npc in mondstadt)?!?!!! like sometimes the reader just likes to hold dottores hands because it serves as a reminder that he is still there with them even if they cant see him yk (IM SO SORRY IF THIS WAS SAID BEFORE 😓😓😓)

You would be gifted a mask, one similar to Dottore's now that your eyesight was gone. It's much more stylish and you can also match with your lovers! You don't know the exact design, only forming an image in your head based on what your husband told you. But at least you can still feel nice about yourself despite no longer being able to see your appearance. However, you don't know how the others wear it for so long. Your face becomes a bit too hot with it on for extended periods of time...

You become a lot more sensitive to his voice and touch now. Even just the noises he makes. The pen scribbling, or his chair squeaking, you welcome any noise he makes if only to reassure you that he's still there. Before these things used to annoy you. Now you get frustrated if he's completely silent. Of course, physical affection is even more important. You make sure to savor and ingrain every touch in your heart, you may only be able to see him through your memories now, but at least you can still feel him.

I also like to think reader distinguishes between segments with their scent. All of them smell different somehow. I would put some descriptions but unfortunately, I'm not very knowledgeable about scents. But did your sense of smell get better or did Dottore and the segments make their scent stronger on purpose? You don't know, but it really brings a sense of comfort, knowing that they're near you.

thinkin about how clever that parentheses placing is in So Much (For) Stardust. at first i thought it was random and just a cheesy gag about how they use parentheses in song titles. and then it hit me after listening a few times... yeahno the placing was intentional.

so these definitions of stardust make it all make sense

essentially just. as we know, with the thematic elements of the album being very depressing but with flashy instrumentals. there is this shimmer in existentialism, in nihilism. to me at least, it gives the vibe of trying your hardest to make the most of it all and get yourself out of the hardest times of your life. its you having one foot out the door but still struggling to hang on, trying so hard to not fall back apart. things are better now, but there is still so much shit you're dealing with, and all you can do is try to keep things that way. so much for stardust. so much for that wonderful feeling of getting better and being in a good headspace, because you feel yourself crashing back down at times.

but that for isn't just there in a solid, bleak way. its in parentheses. its an add-on, an aside. its something that you can skip over, that isn't always the case. and when you do skip that word, what do you get?

So Much Stardust.

there is so much love, so much joy, so much happiness in this life that is left to befall you. there are things in this life that make it worth living. and you are actually in a better place, no matter how hard things can be sometimes.

additionally, in the context of FOB specifically, its a double entendre because it also is about who they are and who they used to be and how the world treats/perceives them as the stars that they are. there's a lot of bittersweetness about being in that position, because you're changing people's lives, but also breaking people's hearts and making them angry with you.

sorry if you've already been asked this but what did you think about eiji in iw? like idk i feel like they were trying to recreate a masato and ichi moment without actually having any of the elements that made their relationship narratively compelling.

as a whole, i thought eiji was at least a nice 'how he wished things couldve been' for ichi in regards to masato, but still being independent enough from the masato comparison to stand on his own as a character (or at least as an antagonist. his actions wasn't what was reminding me he was a masato parallel, but more so ichi's insistence he help him). i think thats why ichi and eiji's relationship don't have the same 'elements' that make their relationship interesting like masato and ichi's
