Request: Yandere gets asked by the darling if they can pretend to date each other for a while since they’re so good looking (Yandere doesn’t know darling at that point in time). But when darling doesn’t need them to pretend anymore, the Yandere has become obsessed.

Caesar A. Zeppeli

🫧Caesar rarely finds himself putting down a little damsel in distress, especially if you have a reason for requesting him to date you for a while. He gladly offers his help, tells you that you don’t need to pay him money for his favor. How could he have said no to those big doe eyes back then? He’s a master in courting too so there are no flaws in his acting. You feel flattered, know of his scandalous past with women though so you never get your hopes up high. Both of you have a deal after all. That all is fine and valid but the time you spend with Caesar changes something within the man. He’s exposed to the entirety of your quirky charms and habits during the following months and suddenly it’s like his eyes have been opened for the first time.

🫧You’re like a rare jewel among the crowd and all of a sudden his heart is engulfed by passionate fire of love. The presents he gifts you multiply in number and price and there’s a noticeably more possessive side on him when he catches someone staring at you or flirting with you. His gaze is always trained on you, a infatuated haze keeping him from thinking logically. Maybe he forgot within all of his ecstasy about the deal you two had, he’s genuinely shocked when you inform him that you don’t need him anymore since you’ve accomplished your goals. Haven’t you felt during all this time with him never once genuine affection? He’s hurt in his feelings and pride when you shot him effortlessly down.

🫧The Zeppeli man isn’t one to give up easily though as his mind is set on you and how perfect the two of you would be. He doesn’t leave you alone nor is your family left alone. Caesar worms his way into your inner circle of loved ones with his charm which is relatively easy. They don’t know about you two technically never having been together and convinces them that you two had a bad argument and that you refuse to listen to him. Nearly everything you say makes it look like you’re really pissed at him and your friends end up trying to make you at least listen to Caesar, utterly charmed by him and willing to help you not lose a lotto win like him. He even pops up in places where you are where he picks up on being the doting and loving boyfriend right away.

Wave

🐟Despite working for a corrupted empire, Wave has a good heart. That is most noticeable when he is gullible enough to let himself get talked into accepting your pleads to pretend to date him for a while. You’ve noticed him for his good looks for a while now and know that he’s a good option, not to mention that his position is a bonus. He has no choice, he just starts panicking when tears appear in your eyes and you’re about to beg on your knees. Kurome and Run tease him later for this entire ordeal but Wave plans to pull through. At least you’re pleasant and nice, don’t force him into anything he doesn’t want to do. He tries to balance his time between work and you somehow although you understand when he’s busy. You’re understanding and sweet side when he’s all exhausted are key factors in the start of his blossoming feelings.

🐟You’re charming and funny and even if kind you don’t hesitate to scold others if they did something stupid. You’re so refreshing from the violent life he has right now, Wave eats your kindness and your attention up at one point. All the affection suddenly has his heart beating out of his chest out of flattery and giddiness and he’s more willing to go a bit further with affection, if you’re fine with it too. He tries to be more helpful for you too when he’s there, buys you small presents and things you need. His heart breaks though when you one day tell him that you don’t need him anymore as he sort of forgot about the promise you two made.

🐟Run and Kurome console him after they asked him about the gloomy aura surrounding him and Wave tells them that he gained feelings for you. They might not even be very surprised about this. Wave sort of stalks his darling for a while after, uncertain what he can do now yet he trails behind them like a attached puppy. He still has the strong urge to protect you from the bad people in this city but how to approach you is a different matter. Esdeath, when finding out about his unrequited love, probably just told him to take you if he wants you, although Wave didn’t listen to her advice. The man probably starts from the beginning by attempting to court his darling the normal way in hopes that he can get them to fall in love with him normally.

Asuka Ryo

👼Ryo is a menace yet he is with his young years already a professor and also very good-looking so here you are, asking him to date you for a while until whatever problem that has appeared has disappeared again. You think the young man is less perplexed and more amused by your request as he asks you what exactly has happened for you to want him to pretend to be your boyfriend and what exactly he’d have to do. You’re just glad that he hasn’t downright rejected you so you tell him about what he would have to do and why you need help in such a form in the first place. Ryo agrees in the end as he finds himself entertained with your situation and is sure that this all could be quite interesting.

👼His behavior is unfitting at times though as you realize with time, he’s extremely eccentric and somewhat apathetic to the people around you and even you. It gets maybe to the point where you start regretting asking him but that’s when Ryo all of a sudden switches a bit. Suddenly he attempts to be more friendly with you, is holding back with his more cold words even when you or someone of your family or friend circle did something stupid. He still does whatever the hell he wants to do but he tries not to drag you into his mess as much anymore. The thought that he has taken a liking to you never crosses your mind, you’re just relieved when you don’t need him anymore.

👼Although the grin he gives you before he drives away in his car unnerves you a bit. Your bad gut feeling becomes very much a reality when Ryo indeed appears in your life again, unwilling to leave it now that you’ve let him in. You’re such a wonderful person after all, Ryo finds himself having a hard time leaving you alone. He pops up wherever you are and it freaks you out, you’re unaware he manages to track you down with ease because he took some precautions. Ryo knew that you’d throw him away as soon as the problem would be solved so he made sure to install a tracker in your phone just in case. He knows that what he does makes you hate and fear him but he doesn’t really care as long as no one else can have you.

Sohma Ayame

🐍Ayame sticks out with his extremely gorgeous looks and his flamboyant personality to match. You think he might be the right person to ask until you’ve cleared up the mess you got yourself in which is why you seek him one day out in his fashion shop. You tell him about your problem and that you need him to pretend to be together with you for a while. He hesitates a bit but you insist that you two don’t need to do anything affectionate if he doesn’t want to. Eventually you get through him with your pleading eyes as he sighs dramatically and says that he can’t reject you whilst you sit there looking like a damsel in distress. Ayama holds back with physical affection, even if darling is male or if this plays after the curse.

🐍He tries his best to act the part though by calling you all sort of nicknames which sometimes make you uncomfortable when he gets too immersed into his role. Is this still a play? Certainly not as Ayame finds himself turning more and more infatuated the longer he gets to see what a great person you are. Suddenly he’s texting and calling you every hour and wants to know where you are, wants to be constantly with you and starts spoiling you with presents and clothes he made for you himself. If he can touch you, he definitely does now. You shatter his dreamy state when you one day call him and tell him that you’ve solved your problem and don’t need him anymore. Mine hears him a while later crying in a locked up room. How could you break up with him? You two were two pieces made for each other.

🐍Ayame, by now a delusional individual, is unable to leave you alone as he has become obsessed with the thought of you two being lovers. He’s sure that it was fate that brought you into his shop that day, believes that you two are soulmates of some sort. You find yourself surrounded by the white-haired male as he still messages you and calls you, sometimes even follows you. He doesn’t drop the overly sweet and affectionate boyfriend, sometimes is downright overbearing. He knows that you never intended to be serious but that’s just because you don’t see the potential of you two yet. He’s not very afraid of getting your friends and family on his side, might even guilt-trip you to give him a real chance if he knows that he can.

Miroku

🕳️Especially if his darling turns out to be a beautiful woman will Miroku be quick to agree to their request even if all of his friends wind up talking behind his back again. Miroku insists that he’s not only agreeing because his darling is pretty though, he senses their slight distress with whatever situation they stumbled into and need his help for. It’s only for a little while after all, nothing too serious. Miroku himself is more eager to engage in the whole act of a couple than his darling probably is and once again, especially if his darling is female he will exhibit a lot of his perverted traits. Sango usually scolds him for it and apologizes on his behalf. He’s still flirting with other women at times although you don’t feel offended, aware of his womanizing habits.

🕳️You’re surprised though when you notice after a few weeks that he’s stopped with it but you don’t question it. He’s not looking at other women anymore, he seems to solely look at you and grows more genuine with his affection. Sure, he’s still a little bit perverted here and there but he’s exposing his more mature and charming side to you. Miroku is at a little conflict though as he knows that this is only a temporary deal with you and on top of that knows that he’s grown quite obsessed with you. He shouldn’t feel this way but he can’t seem to hold back his heart that is overflowing with love he didn’t know someone was capable of feeling for someone else.

🕳️There’s pain flashing shortly on his face when you eventually break it down to him that the problem has been solved and that you don’t need him anymore but he quickly composes himself and wishes you the best of luck. Maybe this is the best way for the two of you, you don’t need someone who is utterly obsessed with you in your life. He should try to forget you. Miroku can’t forget you though and he starts growing very uneasy at one point since he hasn’t seen you. There’s this bubble of irritation inside his chest, one that mingles with his logical thinking. When he travels one day all the way back to your village to see you, he’s still contemplating what to do. His heart tells him to just take you but he knows that he shouldn’t force you. Miroku tries to be mature but he can’t help the immense jealousy when someone else is making a move on you.

Yandere Run with a sunshine type of darling

This type of darling would go perfect with him! Your joyful greeting upon first meeting him had him smiling right away, enjoying the small talk the two of you have. Because honestly, the first meeting might be at some insignificant place and the two of you are truly nothing more than strangers, but your encounter sticks in his mind for a while.

It does take him some time to fall for you, simply because he has to get to know you some better first. Though, after the second meeting he will unconsciously frequent places you might be, hoping for you to strike up another conversation.

That said, the more he gets to know you, the more he falls for you, your bright smile contagious as you tackle him in a hug. For you he has become a friend, one that shows up irregularly but is always so kind and charming that you can't help but sprint to his side as soon as you spot him. You know what he does as a job and so you know why he always is the one coming by first and why you can't just go over to his and you're fine with it. He's such a dear friend in fact, that you find yourself forgiving many small things and looking over the one or other flaw.

He, too, sees you as a dear friend. At least, he's aware that this is what you are at the moment, though he plans on becoming more than that. Run is good with words and could easily manipulate you into a relationship, but he prefers not to. You are just too kind, too lovable and he knows that a natural relationship would simply be easier for you to handle. That's not to say that he doesn't plan out some interactions, stirs you away from some people or takes as much of your attention as possible, he is just extremely subtle with it and tries not to force you into a corner.

It's not surprising that the two of you become an item quickly. From the outsiders point of view you are the perfect couple, loving and gentle and communicative, and the two of you are often spotted in some hidden corner in the park enjoying a picnic while he teaches you some origami or walking around town hand in hand. Your connection is amazing, with Run always knowing exactly what to say and your presence alone enough to cheer him up. He'd do anything to protect what the two of you have.

Similar to Esdeath he does take advantage of his influence and power, but in a much less forced way. The home the two of you will be living in is comfortable and homey, a garden if you wish so will also be included and he is happy to hear any ideas you have about location, decoration and the like. And for someone like him it is easy to find exactly what you want. From then on you finally live together, if you continue your job is up to you, though Run does suggest you stay at home. However, he does not wish to hold you back and will respect your decision as long as you behave, not that you know that.

Yandere Wave with a sunshine kind of darling

Something I can really see happening is that the two of you are childhood friends. You came from the same village, maybe your parents were even friends. As such, you grew up together and you were with him when he developed his love for the ocean. You were known as an inseperable duo, doing everything together.

Even back then he found you down right adorable, your cheerfulness lifting his spirits whenever he was feeling down. Whenever you got teased for your bubbly personality and how excited you could get, he was right there to defend you, heart racing but ready to shield you. It didn’t matter to him if the others did not want to play with the both of you, instead he made sure that you did not have to feel sad. He had always been so brave and kind that it didn’t surprise you when in later years he got his Teigu.

It came however as a shock when he was called to the capital to serve as a soldier in a special police force. You did your best to hide your tears upon receiving the news, this was a great opportunity for him after all and you knew that his responsibility would get him far. Upon him noticing your state, Wave’s heart ached more than it already had and he pulled you into a hug, comforting you as best as he could. He also did not want to leave you behind. He had not even been able to confess his feelings yet and yet he would have to leave you alone. The thought of you getting hurt without him around to protect him worried him to bits. Silently he also had to admit to himself that he was scared you would fall for someone else in his absence.

And yet, he knew he had to leave and there was no way around it. The next days you helped him prepare for his journey, fretting over each detail so that you could focus on the present and Wave was not doing any better, clinging to your side each and every second, clearly trying to get as much time with you as possible. There was a moment were you had to tell him that he should not wait outside the bathroom while you where in there and that he should do anything else as you reminded him that his parents would also miss him. You loved spending time with him, of course, but your heart also bled for the loving parents that had always welcomed you with open arms that now had to say goodbye to their son.

The evening before he left he called you outside, bringing you to an undisturbed part of the village before asking you to wait for him to come back. You knew what that meant, he could have just asked you to be his but this worked, too. Maybe you also like him or maybe you just can’t resist the puppy eyes he gives you, not wanting to break his heart and leave him with such heartbreak so short before his travels. Either way, you promise, and for good measure he demands a pinky promise, to which you agree. From holding your pinky to quickly wrapping his arms around you he starts shaking a bit, happy and scared of the future at the same time as he tells you of how he will miss you and you can only respond the same. The next day is filled with tears for the both of you.

Once on his way and even in the capital Wave has this giddy feeling in his stomach. You promised to wait for him. He could already see it before his inner eye, a small house close to a haven but especially important, near the sea. He has the mental image of you standing outside, waving your one hand and carrying a bag in the other, prepared to go for a swim and then eat some snacks, maybe some sandwiches, after. He comes home, maybe carrying some groceries that he will quickly bring inside, but before he will wrap his arms around you as you giggle and press a kiss to his cheek, leaving him blushing slightly even after all this time of being married. Then, once everything is set, he will take the bag from you to carry it - which you protest, but the both of you know it’s useless - and take your hand in the other as you excitedly start pulling him down the way. Whatever awaits him in the capital, he will hold onto this dream. He will return to you, no matter what. He will make this dream into a reality, even if his morals might suffer a bit (but how could they? All he does is make sure that he can protect sweet and innocent you and some others if possible).

Yandere Kurome with a sunshine kind of darling

She doesn’t really pay any attention to you at first. Sure, the two of you meet occasionally and you’re always happy for some small talk, but that’s about it. If you wouldn’t live nearby she would even think that your encounters are intentional, maybe some trap laid out for her, but alas, the information she got about you (or rather, Run had gathered out of suspicion and concern for her) was innocent enough.

Her obsession starts slowly, you become a constant in her live that she can count on, or at least she hopes she can. The two of you meet regularly, going out for some drinks or a nice stroll, Run and Wave having had encouraged her to make friends beside them at the beginning, talking over her protests. Soon, she’ll come to enjoy the time you spend together, anticipating seeing you again even though she’d never tell anyone.

You’re just so sweet! And even if it took some time for her to get used to your affections, she is quick to latch onto you herself now. Your touch grounds her and calms her running thoughts as she can’t help but relax a bit as you grin at her, hands squeezing hers as you tell her about your day. The thought of someone else liking you or worse, you liking someone else, is enough to force you into constant affection, not that you mind. When the two of you are out in public she makes sure to glare at anyone that comes too close, though you will only notice her hands suddenly holding yours a bit tighter and her form nearly pressing against yours, head turned away so you don’t see how scary she looks in that moment.

There is not much need for a confession in her mind. The two of you spend most of your free time together and the way you look at her, stars in your eyes and the warmth you seem to radiate whenever she is around is enough confirmation for Kurome that you like her back, most of the time. Her thoughts can run wild and she questions your emotions more often than she would like, causing her to put you into situations where you can’t help but praise her, tell her how amazing she is and how much you love her. Cute, adorable you obviously goes along with it, giving her all the attention and affection she demands from you. Sometimes she even goes as far as to test you, fear and anticipation building up as you make your decision and so far, you’ve always chosen her (to your luck and everyone else’s that is around, too).

At one point she’ll get anxious if it has been too long since she has last seen you, rushing to your side as soon as she has returned from a mission and eaten her candy (which she never does in front of you). She doesn’t mind the blood clinging to her, though you certainly do. Kurome enjoys your worry as you usher her inside, checking her over for the injury that needs the most care at the moment only to realize that none of the blood is hers. Still, you get her to take a bath as you try to save her clothes from being ruined before handing her some of yours upon her request, even though she has some of her own clothes stored at your place. Afterwards the two of you prepare something to eat, her following your directions as you can’t help but glance at her from time to time in concern, which she obviously notices. All she does is smile in response, assuring you that she is fine and that she’ll take better care of herself, even though she was the one to come out of the fight without any physical harm.

Out of the three of them Kurome is clearly the most unhinged and despite her wanting to shield you from all danger and cruelty, she sometimes slips up without realizing. Showing you her puppets, telling you gruesome details of her battles or not so subtly threatening you to never leave her are things that just happen from time to time that you will just have to deal with. No matter how frightening she looks she would never harm you though, you will just have to ignore her comments about making you into her most precious puppet so she doesn’t lose you should anything ever happen to you. The chances for that are low though, as any threat towards you is quickly and skillfully taken care of. She relies too much on your comfort to ever let you go.

Annon-Guy: Akame ga Kill!

And this ask is about what you thoughts about the Jeagers (Esdeath, Wave, Kurome, Run, Bols, Seryu Ubiquitous and Dr. Stylish) are?

P.S. Like Tatsumi, Mine and Chelsea, most of the Jeagers are divided among the fanbase. Mostly with Esdeath (Too predictable and overpowered and questioning if she can be redeamed), Kurome (Was considered boring at first, than hated for how she defied Chelsea's corpse and questioned if she should be redeamed), Bols (despite being a good father/husband is called out for killing innocents despite being aware of his crimes like Night Raid), and ESPECIALLY Seryu (despite having good intentions and redeeming qualities like caring for her comrades and being fond of children, is hated for killing Shelle and having a demented case of Black and White Insanity).

Weird note to end this ask on, but do you think in an alternate turn of events that Kurome, Bols and even Seryu could have become allies to Night Raid? I do know that Wave and Kurome end up as this, but I'm curious.

Esdeath - My favourite character in the series, 'nuff said.

Wave - He was cool, I mildly preferred him to Tatsumi, and I also preferred the standard look of his Grand Chariot Teigu in comparison to Tatsumi's Incursio.

Kurome - I had a similar opinion of her that I did of Akame, and I guess that's not a surprise considering they're sisters.

Run - Not much of an opinion on him, but I did quite like his Teigu.

Bols - Seemed like a nice guy, and I really liked his family. It's a shame he got caught up in the profession that he did.

Seryu Ubiquitous - Here's a controversial opinion, I loved her character, because she just added so much spice to the series.

Dr. Stylish - Not much of an opinion on him either.

It is exceedingly common for fans to hate a character who kills a fan favourite, regardless of their reasons or however justified their actions may have been. I'm different - Whether or not a character is "good" or "evil" means less than nothing to me when determining how much I like them. Even when they kill another character that I like, my opinion of them won't lessen because of this. The only thing that matters to me when judging how much I like a character, is how well they retain my attention, that's it.

A prime example of this is Seryu - As you highlighted, she was largely hated in the fanbase for killing Sheele and having a demented case of black and white Insanity. However, despite the fact that I loved Sheele and was gutted at her death, it was precisely Seryu's demented case of black and white insanity that made me love her so much, not as a person, but as a character, because you don't have to be a good person in order to be a good character, and I found her character to be absolutely fascinating. I loved the contrast of how caring she was towards her teammates, and how unhinged she could be when carrying out her brand of justice.

To answer your last question, yes I do, but many things are possible in an alternate turn of events, so that may not be saying much.

Thank god Yomenaido bookstore was open today. It was his girlfriend's birthday today and he couldn't meet her at Aiya's empty-handed, aside from paying for an extra large beef bowl and anything else her enormous appetite craved. It was all on him. He still had quite a lot of money left from last year.

Yu entered the store and browsed through the various books lined up until he reached the manga section. Now, given Chie's bubbly personality, it only made logical sense to pick something adventurous and fun to read through. Finally, after a few minutes of careful consideration, he found one: Akame Ga Kill, featuring a female protagonist with a strong sense of justice.

He's sure that she will at least find it enjoyable. He paid for it in no time, asked the clerk to wrap it up nicely, and quickly made his way to the Chinese restaurant where it seems that she best him to it.

"Sorry I'm late." He looked apologetic for a moment and sat down beside her, planting a quick peck on her cheek. "Happy birthday, honey bun. I'm treating you today and I also got you something nice to read." He handed over the mystery book with a smile. "It's a long one, but I hope it's to your taste."

Somehow, Inaba's well-known steak skewer and Topsicle combo tasted much better with it being her birthday. Tough, chewy meat combined with the sweet, icy flavors made for one very happy brunette. Her second lunch was complete, and after waving goodbye to the counter clerk Chie made her next pitstop...right next door. Aiya's couldn't be missed on this important day, and this time she expected a guest to accompany her for this meal.

Although...she didn't see a familiar grey bowl-cut hair anywhere inside, not that many people were currently lounging or eating up their fill of noodles. By the time dinner came around, the scenery would drastically change. Nevertheless, she asked the teenage waitress for a two-person table, then patiently sat with her line of sight in perfect view of the door. He didn't forget their meetup. Yu wasn't like that. Friends and family always came first for him. Perhaps he was putting the finishing touches on his birthday gift to her?

Whatever the case, the brunette hunkered down and kept herself preoccupied browsing the presents in her current stash. Of course, she took a few nibbles of some store-bought sweets and homemade candies from the other shops in the area, just to snack on in preparation for her third lunch. It's after she finished a piece of mochi her chocolate brown eyes casted towards the doorway, hearing the little bell sounded the arrival of her wonderful boyfriend.

"Over heeeere!!" Her shouts carried over the customers' heads and the clattering sounds of a working kitchen, just to get his attention. Once he meandered towards the table Chie rose up quickly to embrace him tightly, complete with an eager smile and light giggle. "My sweet, sweet kitty is finally here, heehee~. Don't feel bad about being late, I was already checkin' out some of the swag I got from Yosuke." She pressed her lips against his cheek, returning his affection in kind and releasing her tight hold. "And I see you brought me something too, riiiiiiiight?" It's snatched away already, paper flying in every direction since someone couldn't hold their excitement in much longer. Friend gifts were special, but a boyfriend gift had that little extra bit of love in it.

"Oooooooooh, I've heard of this one before...but I never had the chance to start reading it." Chie didn't read too far into the pages, only briefly skimming the first chapter then setting it aside. It's a thoughtful gift, and one fitting the brunette's own tastes too. "Maybe I'll start reading it tonight after we party! Heehee~! I'm glad you wanted to spend some time with just me today, though." Oh she couldn't help herself! Screw sitting across from him!

Chie took the seat aside Yu, immediately locking lips with the boy and letting her arms drape over his shoulders. Did they make a bit of a scene? Ah, she didn't care! "I love you, sooooo so so much, you know? I probably told you that a zillion times now but...it's true." Her nose briefly brushed against his, and she let their foreheads gently rub together.

"I love you a whoooooole lot. You being here has already made this birthday the best I can ask for..."
