When I offered to take over for him he shook his head and laughed. It filled my heart with such a gut wrenching sadness that it moved me to tears upon waking. Even as I write this they still threaten to fall

He looked at me then, the corners of his eyes crinkling as the smile remained, and said ‘Words lose value when their actions do not match. How else am I to show I love you if I cannot even labor in the act of creating this’

Wyll beckoned me closer and when I brought my head down so the wreath of clovers could be placed on it, long hair that I do not own fell over my shoulder. Perhaps it was the confusion of my hair’e length or maybe the weight of the crown that woke me

It’s 12:13 in the morning and I am about to fall back asleep. I hope Wyll is there to tell me how the clovers are resting well or if they’ve tangled in my hair

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

I love how whenever ATLA recognizes Sokka is smart enough to solve a problem but it’d be too fast they just stick him in some kind of situation. Like he COULD’VE stopped jet from drowning a town so they tied him up and dumped him in a forest. He COULD’VE figured out what that spirits deal was so they lost him in the spirit world for 24 hours.

I remember discussing Tintin casting choices with a friend from Germany and remarked how it was odd he often has an English accent in adaptations rather than a Belgian one, and my friend just replied "that's because Tintin gives incredibly strong English boy energy (derogatory)"

Here in the UK there's a lot of weird classism tied into accents. Today accent diversity and representation in broadcasting is actively pursued but in Tintin's time there certainly was a preferred accent to have.
