Random Wild Kratts Headcanons: Shopping At IKEA

Martin genuinely loves going to Ikea like its just a casual hangout spot for him.

He gets sad every time he passes the play area because he wishes he was small enough to go in the ball pit again.

Loves getting the meatballs.

And he can't leave without getting some chocolate ice cream.

Chris knows exactly what he came for and doesn't want to waste time looking around.

Can actually call the furniture by the Swedish names like a nerd.

Only looks at stuff that they actually needs and is usually the first person to be done shopping.

Gets an ice cream or lays down on one of the couches while he waits for everyone.

Aviva likes to look at the animal plushes and has to resist the urge to buy one every time.

Especially if she sees a panda.

Started crying when she saw that big panda plush

She can put the IKEA furniture together but doesn't want to (real).

Says she doesn't want any food but then takes food from Martin and Jimmy's plates when they are not looking.

Koki buys a beanbag chair for her room because Jimmy took hers.

She spends way too much time looking at the plants.

Gets the chicken strips from the bistro and shares a cake with Aviva.

She's usually the second person to be done shopping because she really only comes for the food and the plants.

Jimmy only likes to go for the food. He makes that VERY clear.

The only one besides Chris or Koki that can be trusted to push the cart.

Aviva and Martin play too much or accidentally run people over with the cart or even loose it.

Falls asleep in a display bed for majority of the trip.

One time the crew accidentally left him in the store.

Zach low-key hates going.

he hates the crowds so much

Gets mad when he can't find any of the employees to tend to his every need.

Gets confused by the arrows on the floor.

Has his Zachbots push him around in a cart.

Aviva and Zach are the type to go into one of the kitchen displays and pretend to be a toxic couple having an argument.

At first they were playing but then it gets so heated and intense that strangers can't tell if they're being for real or not but they are invested.

It's like a whole Soap Opera.

Dabio buys the cute ikea shark.

Donita thinks most of the furniture is ugly.

She likes to stare at herself in the mirrors every time she passes by one.

She likes some of the chandeliers too.

Gourmand is literally the only person ever who can build the furniture without even looking at the directions.

Takes the little pencils too just because he can.

Dimensional Disaster

White noise echoed through the common area. Static invaded the large monitor. Time seemed to stand still for a moment, as Aviva, Koki, and Jimmy Z stared up at the screen they’d been watching to keep track of their friends. There was nothing now. Just static that buzzed and flickered. Their communications, their video- their whole system was down. And so was the Time Trampoline that sat behind them, smoking slightly from the earlier electrical fire that resulted from the massive glitch in the machine.

Everything had been working fine earlier. The coding and wiring were perfect, in tact from the first initial test. There were no Disrupt-o-bots of Zach’s left behind in the machine. No errors in the code. No issues. The Time Trampoline was working perfectly when Chris and Martin launched themselves back in time to adventure with black-faced honeycreepers. They had a flawless video connection. They could hear everything just fine.

Then the video froze. The audio was crackling badly; they could only make out a couple words. The Trampoline was starting to spark and fizzle, the lights flickered, the screens were beginning to go black. Jimmy had rushed to grab the fire extinguisher as the sparks ignited into warm flames. The Tortuga let out a mechanical, whirring sigh as the lights and other monitors finally blinked off, as the ship entirely shut itself down due to the energy surge.

Now here they sat in the dark, the one large monitor glowing down on them, white noise reverberating through the room while the Trampoline sat, still smoking just slightly.

The Tortuga was dead.

The Time Trampoline was fried.

And they had lost the Kratt brothers.

Martin’s back was aching right down to the tailbone as consciousness caught up to him. He had to force himself to wake up, to open his eyes, as much as he wanted to go back to sleep. Just waking up, it stung his eyes to even look at the indirect light, though it didn’t hurt as badly as his aching bottom.

Or his throbbing head.

Or every muscle in his body.

In general, he was feeling like he got stomped into the concrete.

His joints were stiff and terribly sore, wanting to resist all movement if they could help it. The blonde sucked in a breath, and hissed and groaned as he sat himself upright against the wall behind him. He could feel the rubble against his bare legs, the cracks on the wall that he rested his shoulder against. The corridor was dim and grey, accented with faded colored tiles and ripped posters that seemed to have been sitting there for years. Colorful squiggles of paint had been chipped away at. Cracks spidered along the walls, from floor to ceiling. The posters that were in tact were drooping and creased, and faded from the years of hanging there. Far less cheery than they must’ve originally been.

Though, Martin supposed the worst thing about this place was that he didn’t recognize it.

This wasn’t the island of Maui, where the honeycreepers sang. This wasn’t somewhere back in creature time like he’d planned for their adventure that day.

He remembered it vaguely… Everything had been going well. The Trampoline was working like it was meant to, the current of the time warp pulling towards their destination… And then it split, like a random fork in the road leading down two completely different paths. It was pulling him and his brother in two separate directions, like two vacuums working against one another. He remembered the two of them holding onto each other for dear life, hoping to be sucked down one path or the other.

Then a third path opened. Worse than the other two. And Martin had to make a choice.

He couldn’t help but wonder if he’d made the right choice as he slowly pulled himself off the floor, ignoring the popping and aching of his joints. Some areas of his body stung, some felt stiff, but he supposed that’s what happened when he fell out of a time warp and into…an unknown building. That’s right. He had no idea where he was…

Well, he wasn’t going to find out by staying put, was he?

Random Wild Kratts Headcanons: Megan Thee Stallion Songs

Songs that I think the characters would like or songs that represent them because I love Megan.

Martin: Ungrateful

Everyone knows that Martin is a nice man. Even the villains know it.

Sometimes it seems like he's a little too nice tho. Like the villains definitely take advantage of it.

Martin can be a nice person but when you mess with animals, his friends, or his brother he can become a different person.

I think the lyrics “Y'all actin' really ungrateful, I'm sparin' you hoes” represent this.

I feel like he could be a lot more violent towards the villains but chooses not to.

Basically, he is sparing the villains despite everything they have done to the team and the villains are “ungrateful” because they constantly act the same way.

Chris: Savage

His sassy attitude fits this song well.

It doesn't matter if it's a villain or his own brother. That lil sassy attitude is always gonna be there.

I feel like he would actually call himself a savage after listening to this song.

“Been that bitch, still that bitch”

And he literally is. Not only has Wild Kratts been around a long time, but Chris has been iconic since Kratt’s creatures and Zooboomafu have been around.

Koki: Plan B

This song is about Independence and having a high self-worth.

Koki definitely has all of that.

She's technically a minor character but she leaves a big impact on the team and the show in general.

Also, I feel like a lot of the time she’s the team's “Plan B” meaning when there's a problem that the boys or Aviva can't fix she has to step in.

Usually involving the miniaturizer because they never listen when she tells them to keep up with it.

She’s like the only other person on the team with a fully functioning brain cell.

Jimmy: Hot Girl Summer

This was THE summer song so you know Jimmy was listening to it.

Probably says “It's hot girl summer” every year to Aviva and Koki.

The chill vibe of the song matches his personality.

I can see him lounging in the sun bobbing his head to this song.

I don't really have a deep reason for why this song is for him, it’s just chill.

Aviva: Hiss

Hiss blew up because it was a diss track calling out basically everyone in the music industry.

I feel like this fits her attitude towards Zach specifically.

Like she seems like she wants to say “Fu*k you” to him so badly.

Based on the “Mystery of the Weird Looking Walrus” episode Aviva seems to be a very observant person and knows a lot of tea about people.

Like how does she know what Zach eats every day and how many toes he has on each foot 💀.

And she was able to guess his password easily on the first try.

Basically don’t piss her off or she will air out ALL of your business, like she did with Zach.

Also, I feel like she listens to Megan when she’s angry.

Donita: Megan's Piano

If feel like she's also a Megan stan.

This song is her anthem.

One thing about Donita is she is gonna let you know that she is NOT poor and she works hard for her money.

Like she’s the hardest-working villain besides Gourmand.

Donita is a self-made queen.

Girlboss.

She likes this song because it reminds her that she's better than everyone.

Every time Chris and Martin come around she mentions wanting to give them a makeover and drags them for their fashion choices.

Definitely says “Sorry, hoes hate me 'cause I'm the it girl”.

You can't spell Donita without “it” after all.

Gourmand: B.I.T.C.H

I don't think he would actually call someone a bitch (he's southern-raised, he has some manners) but the vibe of the song fits him.

I think he would like the lyrics “You know you can't control me, baby, you need a real one in ya life.”

Gourmand is kind of like Zach in the sense that he does what he wants whenever he wants.

Hence why you can't control him.

He’s not like Donita who would use animal substitutes in his profession (the fake spider silk) no matter how hard the Kratts try to convince him.

He does what he wants and you can't control him.

He's also very straightforward with his feelings.

If he doesn't like you he’ll let you know.

Zach: God's Favorite

Zach relates to the song based on the title alone.

He truly believes that he is favored and highly regarded.

Him being the “favorite” could be a general feeling or a reference to how he feels about Aviva and her inventions.

He doesn't see himself as equally matched to her or anyone. He sees himself as the ultimate person basically, even above the other villains.

Despite his incompetence, he is still rather skilled in some things and successful.

The lyric “Here's a toast, who you love the most?” is also him talking about himself since we all know who his favorite person is.

I feel like he would listen to this song to boost his confidence.
