💿The Afterglow Hair System Starter Hair Dump💿

This has been brewing up since July but I'm very happy to say I'm finally done with this! The Afterglow Hair System is basically Sunshine and Zeb blended 50/50 because I wanted something softer than sunshine that still has depth. The natural colours are Poppet V2 Black, Skittles Hair System Brown, Io honey, a ginger I made and Pooklet Mail Bomb; The unnatural colours are Pooklet TNT, FurbyQ Afterglow, a green I made, Wyxii Mint, Pooklet Shock Wave, Poppet Lavender, Skittles Hair System Wild Berry and Pooklet Powder Cake; Swatches, more info and download under the cut!

In the hair dump you'll find 272 hairs in total, 144 being for female sims and 128 being for male sims. Here's a list of all hairs included in this hair dump! This hair dump also features 6 hairs converted and retextured in Afterglow by @nonsensical-pixels :)

Hi, Nikki. I noticed when you converted wondercarlotta's maela that the braided part is the same as the one that creator used in other of her hairs. I have her Calypso hair, converted by Grecadea, and when I compared to yours I noticed that the hair is not placed on the head as neatly as you did, which gives it this very noticeable bald part behind the ear, as you can see in these previews: [timeparadoxsims /post/630148362702880768] Do you think you could edit that mesh to change this, please?

heya, anon! So, I went a little teeny-weeny bit overboard.

I started working on it and as per usual with my brain, it went ahead and suggested to animate the hair and also make a toddler stage. The original mesh was built on a reference that doesn't support my lazy antics for animating hair, so I have built it on a new mesh reference. And since it's a new mesh, it needs new recolors.

I don't want existing recolors to be wasted so I have also updated the original mesh. It's CF-EF and not animated BUT comes with recolors by amazing people. You can find Grecadea's and other recolors at the Sims 2 Hair Database

A big happy 4th of July to my American simmers! What better way to celebrate than by creating a look book showcasing some of the most notable and iconic first ladies?

Martha Washington was the first first lady of the United States, although the title wasn’t coined until after her death. She took on the social role of the president's wife reluctantly, becoming a national celebrity in the process.

Louisa Adams was born in London and raised in France. In fact she was the only foreign-born first lady until Melania Trump. While serving she took to writing, producing plays, essays, poems, and an autobiography.

When I saw @pforestsims’s Wundertub default/retextures, I knew they were going in my game straight away, but also that I didn’t have a suitable toilet and sink to go with them.

Gently used/worn stuff is a weakness of mine, and the aim of this little set - plumbing that isn’t necessarily dirty, it’s just seen better days. Pirate wood textures and old porcelain, with matching dirty states, compressorized for your convenience.

These are just retextures, not defaults - although if anyone wants to default them, feel free!
