It really is like the cherry on top of the shitstorm he's going through rn lol

okay SO there's a series (that i think just technically wrapped up?) called THE JOKER: The Man Who Stopped Laughing. Basic premise of the story is that there are two (2) Jokers who are trying to kill the other; I'll call them Joker A and Joker B. Jason appears intermittently throughout the issues, but the important part right now is Issue #12 (which came out on on the seventh of November, so like six days ago) and which takes place after the end of Gotham War.

Joker B finds Jason, who is still under the effects of the fear-adrenaline thing Bruce did to him.

Joker B wants Jason's help to kill Joker A and seems(?) to be disappointed by the fear-adrenaline thing stopping Jason from doing.... anything, I guess.

So he gasses him. With Joker Gas.

Everyone's interpretations of this will be different, BUT given what Jason does in the rest of the issue (i.e. chase down a train, hijack a jetpack, take control of a blimp, crash that blimp into the train in a desperate suicidal attempt to save Gotham from destruction)

whereas during Gotham War he straight up couldn't even run because of the fear-adrenaline link

(not pictured: me screaming i knew it!!! in despair)

it seems that the Joker gas DOES negate the paralyzing effects of the fear-adrenaline problem (I wouldn't consider it a fix though).

Joker does note that it will wear off fairly quickly.

I'm sort of speculating that Jason now has a constant Joker-smile, but Jason's face being completely in the shadows for the rest of the issue makes me more confident in that theory. PLUS that's how Joker Gas has worked in the past.

(And don't worry, after Jason crashes the blimp into the train and sends the whole fiery mess into the river, Rose fishes Jason out of the water and resuscitates him.)

And we still don't see Jason's face, soooooooo... idk I think my theory holds some water! (pun intended lol)

I've seen a lot of people being curious about the ending of See You in My 19th Life and asking for spoilers from the webtoon. The thing is that they've changed major elements in the adaptation so we can't tell you anything because it's irrelevant to the adaptation... In the webtoon, no one gets sick because Jieum revealed her past identity. Also, Mingi was indeed part of one of Jieum's previous lives but Seoha wasn't in it at all. Seoha only comes to Jieum during her 18th life as Yoon Juwon. There are other changes but those two elements seem to be important for the drama's resolution, which will very likely be quite different from the webtoon. There's a reason why Jieum remembers her past lives but the drama seems to take another path so even webtoon readers have to wait for the reveal!

okay, i know i’ve rambled about this before, but i don’t care. i just wanted to say thank you to everyone who leaves such nice comments on my art. seriously, the käärijä fandom here on tumblr is probably one of the nicest ones i’ve been part of. i originally thought i would post one, maybe two drawings here and that’s it. but all your nice comments gave me so much motivation to make more, it’s insane. there were times, when i would draw one picture in an entire year, now i’ve drawn nine pictures in the span of a month and i still haven’t lost my motivation. which is incredible, especially considering, that i have been doing really bad mentally for a while now, and i usually don’t touch a pen during those times at all.

Yidiao and the whole friend group including the Chen's planned the 'running away' to trick diao's family so according to their shared contract they can no longer take advantage of either the Chen's or diao. Yi stopping diao was more like 'playing around' also to finally properly propose him. Remember how Yi was like 'I have to pretend that I know nothing about diao's plan'? Lian and Yi had no plans, diao had told hia that he would run away from the wedding or pretend to get married but didn't tell him how. Lian and Yi never had a plan. They just played around with kuea and diao's plan. Their ultimate motive was to not let diao completely run away but let him be away for enough amount of time so mr chen can confront diao's dad with the 'your son ran away' excuse. Aon was there informing everything. The moment they got diao's dad to surrender, yi caught diao. Remember 'plan W' ? Yes kuea and others knew about lian and yi's ulterior motive and yi's dad' plan, except diao so the proposal remains to be a dramatic surprise. Naughty babe in my opinion had a well formed plot, everything was explained idk how some people still don't get shit.

Do you know how the ship name liansanjiao came to be? The "lian" part I understand but not the rest and I don't know any chinese.

Hi! so Liansanjiao (莲三角) was actually a thing I originally came up with just for my own blog tagging/organizing system 😅 My fandom before Mysterious Lotus Casebook was DMBJ/The Lost Tomb, and the main three protagonists there are referred to as the Tiesanjiao (铁三角), 'tie' meaning 'iron' and 'sanjiao' meaning 'triangle', so Iron Triangle. I took that naming convention and just called the trio from MLC the Lotus Triangle, which is Liansanjiao. It caught on among some of my mutuals though, and then possibly some people outside of that circle adopted it as well? I'm not too sure lmao. But yeah that was just me being silly and wanting a little inside joke for myself in my tags :) hope this helps!

(For what it's worth, I believe Chinese fandom calls the trio Lianhua Sanxia (莲花三侠), or The Three Lotus Heroes. Some people also just say Difanghua although I believe it might depend on whether or not someone is referring to the relationship as romantic or platonic. I use Liansanjiao interchangeably to refer to the three of them in any context)
