Hi again! So you got any ideas about what Tropy and Cortex did during their time together during their exile with uka uka? So many years together they must know each other so well, including their habits, likes, dislikes, etc

It’s just so funny imagining the arguments they could have now, just stuff like

“Cortex you broke my screwdriver!” “Oh yes we’ll atleast I didn’t leave the toilet seat up at night!”

Or the chance for any romantic time, or atleast maybe them both being touch starved or lonely, needing each other because they’ve got human needs that uka uka cant fill

Plus the fact you know they’re both so egotistical they just HAVE to have someone to flex on otherwise they’d perish from boredom, these boys live on spite

i'm so sorry it took long, i just have so many thoughts on this and this is a rare opportunity so i wanted to make sure i don't miss anything i'd like to say 😭😭 i still will def miss something

so!!! full agree with everything you said. they DEFINATELY know most if not all of each other's habits and quirks intricately (tropy comments on how cortex chews food?????). started with noticing the basic things, like what position they sleep in, then eventually they just instinctively know what the other would do in any situation/scenario possible. every aspect of the way the other works and acts would probably become second-nature after spending that long together. they know all of the other's likes and dislikes, even if they didn't personally see/witness those preferences (considering they're trapped in a semi-wasteland).

cortex has definately traumadumped. multiple times. tropy is now acutely aware of every mentall illness his ass has, whether he likes it or not.

on a seperate note: i've always kinda assumed that the place they're trapped in is a complete barren, time-standing-still wasteland, where they neither age, have any resources, nor have bodily functions, but after thinking about it the "chewing" comment, cortex having a wooden stick, and the fucking hand-made crash doll would probably imply that's not the case. there are some resources and plants(again, the stick), and while not aging or anything of the sort they HAD food. so i guess we can add "scavenging together" to the list of bonding activities.

also, from what we've seen, the place doesn't seem to be dumbass-proofed, so for another bonding activity, they probably just constantly took turns patching each other up for the dumbest injuries known to man. tropy's armor tubes got caught on a branch, he fell forward and broke his nose, cortex ate a weird fruit and got sick, tropy tried to show off the "stepping on lava" trick and burned his fucking foot, cortex tripped and stabbed himself on a sharp rock, so on. tropy will never stop holding neo's embarassingly low pain tolerance over his head, and cortex won't be able to see tropy as threatening ever again after seeing him cartoonishly hopping around on one leg.

i LOVE the stupid arguments, your example is 100% what i imagine their conversations after being freed to look like. tropy just radiates the "obnoxiously leaves the seat up and refuses to change the habit out of a sense of pride" energy 💀💀

and i love LOVE the idea of them realizing they actually do need company and touch after being stranded for a while. they'd probably each come to realize this about the same time but with varying degrees of being upset at the realization. bonus points if either one or both of them have already been supressing some kind of feelings. they'd probably both be initially to proud to admit it even to themselves, much less let it show to the other.

though, an excuse for that: if we assume the wasteland is like other desert-like environments (it looks like a rocky desert), then it'd be likely to have major temperature drops at night. which would be the perfect excuse to seek physical closeness "for warmth". both would probably start contemplating it after a few cold nights, but i like to imagine it'd be tropy who openly suggests it first. of course, acting distant, and explaining the idea Logically and Scientifically. whether to keep up appearances or try to convince himself, who knows.

they're cuddling Only For Logical Reasons, No Other Reasons At All what are you talking about. they're definately not touch-starved. and none of them is in denial, at all. tropy definately doesn't feel at all protective ever. just two guys being dudes.

okay that's- all the thoughts i've managed to organize. it's probably still an incoherent mess i'm sorry.

i'm just bouncing them around in my head like the dvd logo i can't form more cohesive thoughts than this 😭 (or maybe i can when i have less to say and i'm less stressed about getting out every thought i've had in my life, i don't know. i just couldn't make this one any more coherent. i hope the general point is at least understandable💀)

I think I’m gonna like this Saw Paing guy, he’s kinda reminds me of a more extreme Gai from naruto with being a passionate rival! Which is great cause Gai is my fav

The kengan series is a martial artz manga! Omega is the sequel to kengan ashura, set 2 yrz later iirc. I LOVE martial artz n fighting mangas, n kengan is the no.1 in the genre imo (its the most realistic one ive read) so i def recommend it if u like that sorta thing!

Also yeah saw paing is 10000% best boy. The series has so many characterz n there r TONS of villains (or bad guyz/ppl w questionable morale anyway) that i think ud enjoy! (Those kinds of characterz r ur fav if im not mistaken?:D) n yes it is on manganelo hehe its what i use.

I’m bored, so have a snippet from the first draft of a fic I’m writing.

It’s an adamsapple post season 2 amnesiac Adam fic based on this post by @yanderefoeyay

A weak sound of pain escaped from him.

His front was hurting. It was bleeding gold, which was weird- he thought his blood was red. He accidentally cut his knee once on a rock once, but he hadn’t known it could change colour like that.

His head was throbbing, and he felt woozy to the point where he didn’t need to squeeze his eyes tightly to see dots. It almost hurt more than his chest and his back. He was also wearing garments of some kind, which was strange, because he wasn’t wearing them when he fell asleep.

Lucifer wore garments, though. They were white, just like the ones he was wearing now. But these ones were getting stained with his blood.

He stumbled before being brought to his knees, and he realised that there was a strange four-armed creature in front of him. He squinted up at the humanoid figure, feeling uneasy at its presence.

Vulnerable? He’d never heard that word before, but it seemed like the right one to use.

Did Lucifer know what it meant? Maybe once him and Lilith came back from their talk- Lucifer called it a ‘discussion’- he would ask him. Then they would play with the ducks- Lucifer loved ducks. He’s always playing with them…

He faintly heard the figure say something, but before he could ask it to say whatever it was that it said again, darkness filled his vision and he fell into an unknown abyss.

He wondered if Lucifer would be there to greet him.

This is from chapter one. I’m on chapter two out of four at 5573 words with almost 4000 words for plot (for ramblings that resemble the plot). Hopefully I’ll finish the first draft next month, and then I’ll edit and ask some friends to beta it after doing the second draft! Can’t give a determined date for when it’ll be posted, though. Sometime this year though lmao

I set out with the most legit and serious intentions of doing some Not A Meme. The joke was on me tho bc it turns out my brain only communicates in memes and what we get is basically a meme mood board of Unsui trying to parent Agon lol. literally I remembered the Stu Pickles 2am chocolate pudding meme and was like “yeah that’s how this would go”. Unsui forced to make chocolate pudding at 2am because of 5yo Agon’s demands is just.... I feel it in my heart.

Also can we talk for a minute about how wild Agon’s kid design is in the manga because his hair isn’t colored in even in like, elementary school so like.... how old was he when he started dying or bleaching it???? like which direction did he go????? what color IS his natural hair????? i’m BAFFLED.

i don't think i have any single/definite one- my fav would probably be either "the past unmasked" (cortex's 2nd/final boss) or "a hole in space" (n. tropy). these are the two i actually find myself replaying. n. tropy is a bit short, though. i also replay "trouble brewing" (n. brio) quite a bit! but mostly for the first phase. i enjoy the monster phase way less.

my least favorite is, funnily enough, louise. hands down. purely from how unneccessary and tedious it is, and how badly it controls. the jetboard is horrific when you have to be precise and fast. i hate that you have to go through it everytime you replay that level. it's not the hardest boss to exist, but god i hate it. (my second-least favorite is "4th time's a charm", but ONLY gameplay-wise. i love it as long as i'm not the one playing).

my fav cutscenes are the one after "hook, like and sinker" and after "4th time's a charm" <3

and ofc i'm always very happy to talk about either cortropy or just cortex, but i appreciate asks about anything 😭😭 thank you so much for letting me ramble about crash ;w;

Fizzarozzie, though this bit features my bodyguard OC Brick! I really wanted to share this bit. I will also share a bit of the part with the boys, because why not? Double the fun! Please keep in mind that this is rough draft stuff, so it is unedited and may/will change in the final piece!

“You know what?” Ozzie finally paused, glancing at his office across the hall from the balcony he watched the show from, before his eyes fell back on the way Fizzarolli was laughing at this guy’s jokes. Dimly, he realized that the other demon was big, and that was probably a pretty good reason to assume he was attracted to him. Half of Ozzie’s appeal to him was that he was one of the biggest demons in all of Hell, and he was very aware of that fact, “I want you to take care of them.”

“Oh?” Brick’s eyes were back on the table, back on Fizzarolli, and he knew deep down that this was going to be something he wasn’t going to want to ask many questions about.

“Those are really nice boots, by the way. They look good on you, and I know you’ll get some good mileage out of them.”

For a second, the incubus glanced down at the thick leather crawling up his calves. With shiny silver buckles holding the leather straps tight to his legs and the tops of his feet, there was no need for shoelaces. Silver wrapped around the toes, and then up underneath the soles of them, something like cleats poking out of the bottom. The skulls carved into the leather at the back were meant to mock those of angels, and it was for good reason.

After all, Empyrean Steel-Toed boots had been something Ozzie had had to sign off on personally. Brick’s promotion had earned him something deadly enough that he had to classify them as weapons of war, and he knew exactly what Ozzie wanted him to do.

At the very least, he knew that he would be able to do something about Olli’s wandering lust, and he just had to hope that that was all this was. Being everyone’s type, he knew that he could push his pheromones if he had to, but he doubted he would. Usually, just the offering for sex was enough to have his little lover at his beck and call. While he hadn’t been a creature of lust initially, he’d fallen into it like a pool of lava and let the heat consume him.

“Olli Baby,” Ozzie began with a purr, poking his head around the corner to look down the stairs into the basement, the imp coming up them tilting his head as he affixed his cap to his head. His legs extended to make for longer steps, taking them three at a time and meeting Ozzie at the top of them rather quickly. A startled moan left him as he was suddenly picked up, Ozzie’s hand slipping under his rump, and he whimpered shortly after. Ozzie grinned at him in that lecherous manner that set his blood to boiling before he spoke, “I can’t keep staring at you like this… Want to fuck your lights out.” He growled in the other’s ear, eyes glowing dangerously as Olli hugged his face, nearly wrapping his arms around his head in thick coils.

“Ffffffuck, Babe, right now?” He asked softly, shuddering when Ozzie’s hand rocked his own hips for him, rounding them in a sensual circle against his face with two fingers. He heard Ozzie’s robe fall more than he saw it hit the floor, and Fizzarolli finally gasped as he felt the other’s hands slide underneath the thong he’d only just put on. It was laundry day, he thought, because all he’d had left for underwear was his ‘Shaved And Depraved’ pair that Ozzie had bought him as a joke. The demon King loved whenever Olli wore it from the first time he saw it on him, and so he’d continued to wear it just for him.

Currently Reading: oh man 💀 I would really like to read the backlog of books under my bed, but I’d have to sacrifice time doing other things for it. BUT. I am reading a friend’s WIP story to help with a few edits! That counts, right?

Last Song: *checks youtube history* Looks like it was Feels by Calvin Harris, though I distinctly remember starting the song and not actually getting to listen to it. So the REAL last song would be ... ages ago, apparently ... a Danganronpa Remix by Neraki.

Last Series: Since I don’t binge-watch TV series or watch much TV in general, I’m going to interpret this as ‘what was the last game series you touched’, and that was Rune Factory, because I played RF5 this morning.

Last Movie: Last weekend I watched the third Aladdin film (King of Thieves) for the first time, with a friend. It was alright. I think the relationships were written well, although Genie’s dialogue suffered a bit. Better than the second imo, but not quite as good as the first. 

Sweet/Spicy/Savoury: I like my salt and I like my sugar, but I prefer to keep my spice to a minimum. Katsu Curry is my favourite thing to eat, but that’s because it’s a tolerable heat! If I had to choose one to eat forever, I’d probably go with savoury, but I’d go through extreme sugar withdrawals because I can’t do without. I like to eat!! 🍝🍨

Currently Working On: I’m working on my book, Racing Pulse, but I’m trying to push through a difficult part of the narrative right now. I’m hoping I can focus on getting it finished instead of worrying about the content too much, because I can go back and re-draft if it doesn’t come out how I want. But getting that through my head isn’t simple. Writing is hard!
