I have to be honest, when the first-AND I MEAN THE VERY FIRST, teaser came out, everything went bonkers.

One twitter user was fighting another group stan in a dark alleyway over some useless rank of brand reputation, another one was overanalyzing Dahyun's leggings and the other over Jeongyeon's boots' colors that's different than the others (blue, as expected), another once was aggressively making memes out of the mere 11 seconds of the Drop Spoiler.

All of the actions above are nothing new in Twiceland of course, we are all mentally eel (and we been knew), but it made our wrecked mind even wrecked because the SURPRISE?? A NEW ENGLISH SINGLE?? SOMETING THAT INTL FAN CAN FINALLY UNDERSTAND WITHOUT TURNING ON CC OR WATCHING COLOR CODED VIDEOS?

Then it all kinda went downhill from there (for me at least)

First of all, JYP /eyeroll/ released a statement that Miss Maam Beloved Yoo Jeongyeon can't participate in near future activity of the group because of her anxiety and health problems. Dude...the way that my heart sank knowing our ms maam is suffering somewhere, not feeling well...that made me want to give up badly. What's the point of supporting the group when the reason you're here is not present? But then I remembered the wise words of JY herself that she wanted the group to be forever. That made me happy once again, knowing that JY herself is trying her best and so should I.

Anyway, back to The Feels promotions ಠ_ಠ

The team released a spoiler from the ACTUAL song as a sound on tiktok. I was so excited but also scared because...sometimes you can kinda judge a song's vibe from a snippet. I just hoping the song's is up my alley.

I REALLY TRY TO LIKE IT, but I couldn't (yea call me tasteless or a [insert number here]-anti yapayapayapa--whatever ). It was simply not the kind of song I enjoy casually. But I tried not to be so judgmental over mere seconds of a song's snippet.

Maybe I'll absolutely fall head over heals over the whole song, or maybe the choreography, maybe the outfits ?

...I hate to break it to you bud...the outfits and the MV setting are the only one I like so far, gotta wait on those choreo vid to drop.

I feel like the production team, the band, the sound mixer, the guy/gal who plays keyboard/drum/guitar or whomever needs to put more work into producing the song??? because it only has like 2.5 lines of musical notes (?) that they used over and over again. It honestly feels like I'm listening to a loop of a 1 minute song. BRO LIKE??? ADD SOME SPICE FOR MY GIRLIES?? PLEASE?

In term of lyrics, I'm impressed with the girls' pronunciation and choice of wordings, like:

So in conclusion,

jyp seems to continue to give the bare minimum to the girlies, they will PAY. But for now, lemme enjoy the good things about the songs and ignore the other bad things.

The fan of this group (that I'm also a part of 😔, yes I'm ashamed) made it worse.

It wouldn't be a comeback without us blabbering between ourselves, calling each other maniacs, comparing seconds (UNTIL THE MILLISECONDS, apparently) of MV shots and lines between members.

ISTG some of yall made everything worse. Some of yall are wholesome af and cute and all positive vibes and all. But the rest of yall are sick in the head. I recommend therapy. Get. Help.

Anyways, kindly check the song if you're curious. Although mistreated and broken and bent and could be giving what it was suppose to give, (I'm not going to sugar coat it), it was an ok song.

Whatever they make him though a 4* or 5* I am sure his story is interesting... it is kinda hinted that maybe he isn't even from Inazuma? and I think I read somewhere that he got kicked from his country?

reactions to the bnha: heroes rising film

spoilers alert !

(i risked coronavirus to go to the cinema for this but no regrets because we all want to die anyway oof-)

the film was very 1a centred & that’s gr8 and all especially since we got to witness the bond they had between them & just. how incredibly amazing their teamwork is

but i really ,,, miss,,, aizawa (my fave, my tru love)

he had a total of 3 (?) scenes, each of them lasting like less than 10 secs - even toshinori had more scenes than that : (

but you know who even had less screen time (aka none),,, our boy,,, the valid purple son,,,, shinsou hitoshi : (

the person who had the most screen time was this new villain called nine and i really wanna yell begone thot at him because he was like “i want to create a utopia where the powerful rules” and i was like thinking,, yo that shit sounds like capitalism & neoliberalism

his character design was really pretty, but it didn’t make up for his ideology that came outta nowhere with no backstory - so it was really hard to empathise/sympathise

what makes a villain good is 1) sufficient backstory 2) being so damn predictable and familiar that you actually prefer them over every other new villain because better the devil you know than the devil you don’t know

anyway, what really slaps is kacchan’s fuckin character development !!

lil gremlin is still gremlin but ,, he’s working with other kids,, he’s minimising damage done to the area while fighting villains,, there was a scene of him all calm and shit while eavesdropping on izuku and katsuma (which once again proves that most of his anger is just a front he puts up in front of other people rather than a perpetual state, and ya know what, i love that introvertedness that he has),,, him being protective over the bakusquad and not blasting kaminari for teasing him,,, he and izuku fighting together like a hero duo ,,,, eye-

this movie really said bakugo character development hUH

anyway in the beginning when endeavour showed up and dabi and endeavour had this whole showdown with their fire quirks and we got this close up of endeavour’s thicc thighs and i was like :           ) we don’t stan for this here but at the same time i was like @ hawks damn ur daddy really be like that, huH

So yeah khsona bunni is some librarian mothafucker who does Deep Darkness Research but is also the nice goofy good guy sort of mad scientist, like the nutty professor or something. I'd probably be the comic relief on some team of actual villains, thats the only way id really be any threat to anyone. But i'd also totally be The Mom Friend and itd be like u guys are having some serious battle and then i call up Mr Big Villain mid battle like HEY YO COME JOIN KARAOKE WITH ME AND THE HEARTLESS and then hes like "damn man can we have a rain check on the whole end of the world thing?"

Like lol another self indulgent oc thing would be "power to be friends with all the fave villains and they are my friend and we hug". Like an all star teamup of just specifically all bunni's fave KH and didney villains and then also they never fight anyone and we just enjoy slice of life friendship antics. Like Kuja and Ursula would be so cool!! Cos theyre both similar personality yet Kuja had experience manipulating a more loser-y lady who looked a lot like ursula so i can expect he'd underestimate her and try his queen brahne plan again and maybe get outsmarted? And maybe theyd be locked in an eternal battle of two masterminds trying to manipulate each other and along the way they somehow end up accidentally forming a mentor student or mom and son relationship? Like ursula is the better version of garland and she helps kuja heal from his childhood trauma and also in the process maybe he helps her heal from whatever ambiguous backstory event led to her being ostracized from her royal family and such. THEY WOULDNT BE BAD IF THEY HAD HUGS OK let me believe this!! And also of course theyre both the big gay/trans coded dramatic fashion person from their respective stories, so srsly there could be so much awesomeness from the combination of The Two Most Stylish Of Two Worlds! Also i wonder how Kuja would even work in a khified version? Like maybe terra still exists as a separate world in kh world rules and it has a plan to destroy and take over gaia in the same way as the original ff9. Or maybe take some of kuja's other plot points and go from there? Like with how he disguised himself as a treno noble and how he eas created by garland to be an "angel of death", maybe in this world he's a shapeshifter Nobody assassin who infiltrates different worlds and corrupts important people to help garland destroy them? But since he's a very complex experiment and complex = humanoid in this universe, it could be an excuse for him becoming sentient over time and having a plot similar to repliku wanting to be a real human. And i dunno maybe zidane is his "brother" because he's the heartless made from the same original dead guy, who was discarded as a failed experiment? Like it could be interesting to see both of them as villains on the same side, and actually have a close relationship as loving brothers. And theres even already a monkey type heartless! And i dunno maybe the plot of garland creating the genomes infiltrator heartless and then kuja going on to create black mages still black mages? Like he still makes Vivi cos seriously its SO WEIRD that the heartless are based on black mages and then of all things they decided that Vivi would be the ONLY ff9 character allowed to appear in the whole kh series and itd just be in the role of "normal human kid". But they didnt even change his design!! He still looks like a heartless!! Why does nobody question why fredbob mcnormalson doesnt have a face!! So itd make much more sense if he was still a heartless and he's just a good one who wants to be a real boy BUT COS THE WORLD SAYS ALL HEARTLESS ARE EVIL I CANT HAVE THAT. Theyre all evil and only extra evil people get to be humanoid types! Boooo! So kuja doing Special Experiment Science could explain there being at least one special heartless thats not evil. And i dunno, kuja sends vivi out on his first test mission to infiltrate and destroy twilight town but whoops instead he becomes everyone's favourite baby brother! Like he's about to devour some dude's soul and then seifer and co come in and yell at the victim like DUDE ARE U BULLYING THIS POOR TINY CHILD and they drag off this poor very confused heartless in a hug and now he's Lost Forever I Guess. april - ok this girl is my first oc. i made her in the middle of english class in 6th grade and shes been around ever since!!! tbh at this point idk if i want her to still be a straw hat or not but like??? anyways shes a rogue princess. she grew up just fine, but then one day her asshat dad killed her mom bc her mom was an “embarrassment of a ruler” and made their kingdom “look bad” anyways that happened when april was like 11. then once her dad took TOTAL control of the island he locked her tf away so she wouldnt be able to visit the citizens like she used to. so from 11 to 18 she was cooped up in the damn castle. when she was 16 she got her hands on a devil fruit that was locked away in some hidden room in her mother’s library (cliche i know im sorry) so then she ATE IT. THE AURA-AURA FRUIT. a v basic summary of that fruit is that she can manipulate her own aura and shit. imagine lucario from pokemon as a human honestly. idk. so when she ate the fruit she decided to fight her dad but of course she lost horribly and then she had to sit around in even more of a cooped up state for two more years until the STRAW HAT TEAM CAME ALONG ON ACCIDENT BAM SHE WAS ABLE TO LEAVE THE ISLAND BC OF THEM ok ok??? her whole story is complicated i tried to give the best watered down version im sorry. anyways shes v sweet and can be goofy but can be defensive as hell. she knows what she wants and will do anything to get that. yeehaw. shes an average height for a woman, she’s got shoulder-length brown hair and sky blue eyes. if u ever wanna know more bout her hmu

jack - OK MY 2ND OC EVER HE WAS MADE RIGHT AFTER APRIL AND HONESTLY HES MY FUCKING BABY. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!!! anyways. he grew up on the same island april did. his dad was like the right hand man to april’s dad so like he had connections and shit. he had a v happy family. a sweet mom celest and a dope dad cain and a wonderful lil sis sho. when aprils mom was still alive, they would always visit the town so jack and april always hung out and went on adventures throughout the town together. when april’s mom died and her dad started locking her up more, they werent able to see each other much anymore. of course, jack being the rebellious son of a gun he was, he would always sneak around and find ways to still hang with her. jack’s 3 years older than her btw. anyways. one day out of NOWHERE jack’s dad just VANISHED from the island and it rly fucked him up. he was 14 when that happened. so then he had to take a step up and watch over his mom and sister. then april’s dad became even more of an asshat and more people started leaving the island, so jack’s mom and sis decided to leave. HOWEVER jack decided to stay so april wouldn’t be completely alone. that happened when he was 16. then he stayed on the down low and visited april as much as possible until he finally decided to leave and make a life for himself and also search for his family. he left when he was 18 and he promised april that shed be set free one day and theyd be able to meet up once again and have more adventures :’) anyways then he went on a search for his dad. turns out his dad left bc he was the leader of the LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS and had to tend to the duties over there. after YEARS jack finally found the LOA but his dad literally left AGAIN 3 months before he got there. that frustrated him. but then he decided to start a life in the league ((bc his dad lowkey taught him a whole lotta shit about that as a child but u kno)) and met CHAZ AND JO…anyways pause on the story. jack’s an uncooked piece of spaghetti. hes v tall and lanky. hes got messy black hair and red eyes. he deserves so much love ok. he needs a hug. covers up his problems with dumb humor. a little shit. v snarky. his weakness is overthinking. v good with daggers. his epithet after he becomes a wanted man is (lame) jack “the slicer” solo ok. hes 23 after the timeskip. yes. i could talk about him forever. pls lemme know if u wanna know more about him AHHHHHHHH ps april and jack are my favorite brotp and i wish someone was the jack to my april 

chaz - oh charles. dont call him charles he’ll kill a bitch. idk what it is about me and having my oc’s be of higher class but like chaz came from a family of nobles and Fucking Hated It (big shocker huh) so long story short he RAN away and started a life as a pirate but he was betrayed Too Many Times and ended up hating pirates. nerd. anyways. one day he ran into this guy named cain. jack’s dad. cain was like “yo u got somewhere to stay?” and chaz was like “lol no”. so then cain took chaz in and introduced him to the LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS and basically trained chaz for years and then VANISHED. chaz was SO FUCKING HURT!!!! but cain left him as the leader of the organization so chaz was also v shook. he got RLY defensive when jack stumbled along. he felt threatened that jack was gonna snatch his leader spot all bc he was cain’s son. tbh chaz was a dick to jack for a good bit of time. cain was the best kind of father figure chaz ever had and he just??? ah chaz also needs a hug. anyways eventually he and jack became nerd bros. they argue all the damn time. think of zoro and sanji but dumber. thats these two. chaz fights with whips (kinky) ((jk)) and hes a fuckin BEAST with them. run. they call him the dawn menace bc he mostly makes his move at that time of day. CHAZ THE DAWN MENACE. ok lame. but yea. hes 26 after the timeskip. hes a nerd. takes things seriously. easily stressed. chaz had a horrible event happen to him in the past so he lost one of his green eyes and (theres a whole other story about that where cain does a Good Thing but im tryna save time and space rn) his weakness is his right side bc he literally cannot see. hes a hothead sometimes. also a redhead. makes sense. hes got some good biceps tbh. strong dude. love him

jo - AYYY JOSEPHINE!!! her story isnt entirely developed tbh. she’s part of the league of assassins. literally the smartest damn person in the entire world. SO SMART. literally shes the reason why the league is still thriving. she knows everything about everyone. ALSO SHES SUCH AN INCREDIBLE SHARPSHOOTER. USOPP WHO? v v v v v good with guns. honestly. shes 25 after the time skip but honestly shes a mom to chaz and jack. always breaking up their dumb arguments. so kind. can be snarky. purple eyes and long blue hair that she wears in low pigtails all the time. she was around when chaz first joined the league so they’ve been good buds for a hot minute. she’s 2nd in command now!!!!! she needs a break so bad. oh my god. works so damn hard. i honestly feel like im forgetting a lot of things about her im sorry im rushing rn but!!!!! honestly jack chaz and jo are my fave dream team. they’re all fucking nerds. i love them. tbh on the sims 4 i made a household with the three of them in it and it was wild. 

codie - lil cordelia. redhead. amber eyes. V STUBBORN. serious as shit. will kill someone. she has a zoan fruit and the model is an albatross so since shes a redhead she just fuckin. turns into a red albatross. they call her the red feather bc 1) literally red and 2) the blood of her enemies sometimes stain her feathers. ooooo spooky. her story is fuckin insane. all im gonna tell u is that she’s just with the whitebeard pirates. 20 after the timeskip. sassiest gal i know. fuckin constantly flamed ace even though ace was the flame guy. bird bros with marco!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!! anyways. thats all i got rn im sorry!!!! thank u for asking and please feel free to ask me more questions if u ever wanna know about some of these kids o mine!!!!!

Q - A fandom you’ve abandoned and why.

Supernatural. I really really enjoyed the first five seasons. It told a solid story and came full circle and I appreciated the whole thing. Then it just ... kept going, and getting worse and more nonsensical and repetitive and bonkers, so I stopped. I now pretend in my head that anything past season 5 is just fanfic. I only accept the first five seasons of the show as canon. :P

U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

Oh goodie, this is a fun one!

Fandom 1: the Realm of the Elderlings series by Robin Hobb. My favorite character here is a mad sentient ship named Paragon - I tend to fall for the “crazy” characters, especially if their madness has a mysterious tragic backstory, and especially if the Power of Friendship helps to stabilize and empower them to sort out who they really are and become who they really want to be. 

My second favorite character in the RotE series is Thick, a character who - if he lived in our world and not a medieval-ish fantasy one, might be considered developmentally disabled or perhaps neuroatypical. He is funny, loving, angry a lot - especially at the things he can’t control or the things the people he cares about make him do when he doesn’t want to do them, and is also very very powerful in some of the magics that exist in this world. However, because of his differences, his magic functions differently from the others as well, and most people don’t understand him. He connects to very few characters, but the ones he does connect with end up being very strong connections. 

Third fave is probably Nighteyes, a wolf who bonds with the main character of the primary books in the series (9 out of 16 of the books I believe?). The bond is magical on both of their parts, so Nighteyes becomes a little human-ish and Fitz becomes a little wolfish, and they can talk to together and are basically life partners and soulmates in a very very strong way. Fitz often annoys the crap out of me, but Nighteyes does not - in fact he is often annoyed by the same things about Fitz that I am, which of course is gratifying. He’s got a great sense of humor, is super loyal, and has great instincts. Plus he’s a woofer. I love him. 

(I could probably pick another 6 characters here but I’ll move on)

Fandom 2: General Hospital

Carly Corinthos is probably my top fave soap character of all-time. She can be crass and caustic and schemes like nobody’s business, but she’s fiercely loyal to and protective of the people she loves, always emotionally honest to the point of everyone always knowing what she’s thinking or feeling at any given moment, and while she’ll cast you out if you hurt one of her own - her heart is big and warm and open enough to keep including more people into that inner circle. She’s a hot mess tbh, but she keeps trying, yk. I’ve loved her since Tamara Braun played her and also love Laura Wright’s portrayal of her (love having TB back on the show in another role too btw)

Sam Morgan is probably my second top fave soap character of all-time and it’s a very close second. Sam and Carly have a lot of differences (Sam has a healthy understanding of boundaries, for example - and she tends to methodically plot instead of spontaneously scheme when she wants something sorted out a certain way), but they’re similar in their fierce loyalty and their ride-or-die mentality when it comes to the people they love and care for. Sam tends to hold her cards closer to her chest, and she’s quite independent (whereas Carly tends to lure people in to help her accomplish her goals). Sam is scrappy, she’s a fighter, she loves her family - bio, extended, found, etc. - and she looks goooood in a tight black tank top, some jeans, and a leather jacket. Come ON! 

Maxie Jones is another female character that I adore on this show. Maxie is a lil ball of fire! She knows what she wants and she goes at it full-speed ahead until she gets it. She fucks up a lot (less and less as she gets older tho), but she always gets her head turned back around and makes things right to those she’s hurt. She’s currently going through a grueling heartbreak/loss and the actress Kirsten Storms is knocking every scene out of the park. I just wanna throw daytime emmy’s at her in between dabbing at the tears in my eyes. 

So anyway yea, three very different badass women on my fave soap!

Fandom 3: The Walking Dead

Michonne is such a dynamic and interesting character. The first thing we see and get to know about her in the beginning is just how badass she is - she can fight with a katana, and she has hand-less jaw-less walkers chained to her to protect her from other walkers, and she just seems so mysterious and larger than life.

Then we get to know her, bit by bit. And she never loses that badassness, but she adds in these layers of softness, humor, love, affection, fear, sadness, tragedy, etc. She becomes part of Team Family and she protects her people both with her fighting skills and with her wisdom and willingness to try new things and be open to new people. 

She never loses the core of who she is and she never gives up, but she gets close at times. She’s not really larger than life. She’s very human, and very fragile, and yet still very very strong. I adore her.

Rick Grimes - oh - how I do even begin. He crept up on me. I never consciously thought of him as a favorite or whatever, but as the seasons continued I found myself feeling very protective of him against his critics. He’s a leader character, and his people sometimes follow him very willingly and openly, and sometimes more reluctantly and angrily - but follow they do. And, like Michonne, he’s very human. He loses it sometimes and he makes giant mistakes sometimes.

But overall? This is a man who gives his all at all times. He protects his family at all costs and sometimes that means his wife and kid, and sometimes it means a network of communities of hundreds of people. It can mean anything in between. We call our group Team Family in large part because that is how Rick sees them. And once Rick decides to take someone(s) under his wing, whether it’s a lonely wanderer by themselves or a whole freaking village, well the rest of the group also end up deciding these people are now part of their family.

Everyone on this show has seen and experienced and even done unimaginably horrific things, but I feel like Rick has shouldered the most - not just what’s been done personally to him, but the responsibility of everything that’s happened to anyone in his care at any given point of time. It’s a lot to take on. But he keeps doing it.

He just keeps doing his best, over and over and over again. And I admire the shit out of him. And I discovered somewhere along the line that he was not only a favorite character but someone I truly STAN for. I will die any hill defending this man with my whole heart. 

And yea, he loves Michonne. And she loves him. And when the two characters you love and admire the most in a show fall in love, it’s one of the most delightful things in the world. 

Carol Peletier. I don’t know if I can’t talk about this lady without tearing up. She started the apocalypse still under the thumb of her abusive husband. She was quiet, unassuming, but clearly warm and caring as well. She’s had an incredible character arc in these past eight seasons. 

Carol lost her husband (a good thing), and then her only daughter (a tragic thing), and found the will to not only live but continue on and thrive and learn to protect herself and her people. She is a fierce fighter, she takes necessary actions that no one else can take, and she can put on a character to fool people into underestimating and/or trusting her at a moment’s notice. 

Carol has spent a lot of time deciding what kind of person she wants to be, and what her ethics in this new world should be about, and how far she should go now that she knows how far she CAN go, and as a result she has become very deliberate with both her words and her actions. She’s even learning to lighten up a bit here and there. She’s an amazing, wonderful, thoughtful woman who continues to grow and change but in believable and deliberate ways that make sense for her character.

I can’t wait to see what she does next tbh!
