Infinity War (Captain America series) Part 1/2

Summary: This series are inspired by my fic LOCKED IN THE ELEVATOR WITH A STRANGER (ONE-SHOT)  I thought about what would happen if the reader had been in the elevator scene of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and then i decided to make the rest of the movies where Steve’s appears from the reader point of view! I hope you like this! English is my third language so im sorry if there’s any misspellings.

You are resting on Steve's chest, recovering your breathing. "I love your new look" You say playing with his beard. "It helps me to go unnoticed" he says before kissing your neck. "I wouldn't say that, I think you call even more attention now, not like Captain America, just like a very attractive man" you say raising an eyebrow and he laughs. "that's not true" "you remember the girl at the reception? she was eating you with her eyes" you say. "are you jealous?" he has a smile on his face. "yeah... i look amazing and she didn't even look at me" you say and he laughs. "you look more than amazing" he says kissing you, things where heating up when you hear groans from Sam's room. "OMG" you say covering your ears "i hate this place" "suddenly I want to go for a walk" Steve says with flushed cheeks. "Me too, I do not want to hear this" You say getting out of bed.

"I bet you 20$ that is the girl at the reception" You say walking with Steve. "Deal" he says taking your hand. "Are you still worried about Wanda?" Wanda hasn't communicated for 4 days. "She should have already returned or at least communicated with us, we don't even know where she is" he says frowning. "she's fine" you say. "how do you know that?" he ask you. "it's Wanda, she's the most powerful of us" you say emphasizing the obvious "besides, she is not alone" you say smiling. "what? who's with her?" Steve stops walking. "i can't tell you, i promissed her but trust me, she's fine, she just wants more time" you say squeezing his hand. "I still worry" he say looking at you. "you wouldn't be you if you didn't"  you give him a quick kiss "we all deserve a break...not everything in life are missions" "I know" he says kissing your forehead.

You were walking with Steve when the picture of a newspaper catches your attention. "they're getting married?!" you say when you see the cover of today's newspaper. "who?" Steve says confused. "Tony and Pepper" You say reading the newspaper. "That's great!" He says smiling but you know what he's thinking. "I know you'd like to talk to him and congratulate him, but I don't think it's a good idea, he has the phone... if he wanted to fix things he would have called you" You know it's not what he wanted to hear, but it's the truth. "I know i just...I miss him that's it, he was my friend"  he says with a sad look "he's happy Steve, that's all that matters" you say caressing his face "I'm cold, do you think we can go back?" "let's hope he's finished" he says giving you his jacket.

When you arrive at the motel you see the reception girl leave Sam's room. "I told you" you say with a smile on your face when Steve gives you 20$. "Whats up guys?" Sam says when he sees you. "you own me 20$" Steve says to Sam. "what? why?" "He'll explain it to you tomorrow" you say entering your room. You were asleep in Steve's arms when someone knocked on the door. "Whoever it is, I'm going to kill him" you say yawning. Steve puts on his pants before opening the door. "Nat?" he says surprised. "have you seen the news? Tony..." Nat start saying before you interrupt her. "we know... he's getting married" You say sitting on the bed. "No, he's missing" Nat says getting your attention. "what? how?" Steve asks. "in the attack on NY, he just disappeared" she reports. "we need to find him" you say getting dressed. "but how?" Nat asks. "Vision" you say thinking aloud. "We don't know where he is" Steve says looking at you. "he's with Wanda" you say biting your lip. "wait what?" Steve says confused "Great, we also don't know where she is" "I know where she is, I promised her I wouldn't say anything but this is important" you say finally. "suit up, we leave in 5 minutes" He says before Nat leaves the room leaving you alone with him "why didn't  you tell me?" "I understand that you are upset but I promised her I wouldn't say anything, They needed time to know what they wanted" you explain and you can see how the anger disappears from his eyes. "put on the suit" he says pulling his suit out from under the bed. "Steve... we'll find him" you say hugging him from behind. "Maybe if I ... if things were like before, this wouldn't have happened" he says and you give him a kiss on the shoulder. "This is not your fault, let's go for Vision and Wanda, together we will find Tony" You say kissing him before you go and put on your suit.

while flying over the small town where Wanda and Vision were you see red lights and explosions, then you recognize Wanda and Vision when they are thrown against the roof of the train station. As soon as the plane touches the ground Steve runs out to them. You hate when he does that, run off leaving others behind, not all of you are super soldiers. When you arrive at the train station Steve is fighting with aliens¿? You don't think twice before launching yourself against them, Sam knocks them down, so you take the scepter of one of them and you stick it in his stomach, the woman was about to attack you when Steve blocks his blow protecting you. The alien you hurt is on the ground so  Steve, Nat and you fight against the woman until she is disarmed. "we don't want to kill you" you say. "but we will" Nat says with a smile. "you'll never had the chance again" the alien says before a light takes them, just like in the movies. "Wanda, Vision!!" you run towards them. "Y/N" she says hugging you "thanks for coming" you help Wanda with Vision who is injured. "Thank you Captain" Vision says, it's been two years since the airport fight. "lets go to the plane" he says.

"the deal was to contact every two days" Nat says on the plane. "we just wanted more time" Wanda says caressing Vision face. "well that time almost kills you" Sam says. "Sam" you warn him "Vision you have to help us find Tony" "I don't know how... the stone, I am very weak" vision says. "what do we do now?" Sam asks. "Rhodey" Steve says serious. "Do you want to go and talk to who is chasing us?" Sam says with irony. "It is the only option, he will help us" Steve says. "you don't know that"  Sam says raising his voice. "he's his best friend, he will, and if he doesn't... it's a risk that I am willing to take, you don't have to come with me" Steve says. "i'm going" you say without hesitation. "me too" Nat adds. "Fine, but if they catch us I'll get the biggest cell" Sam jokes. "Let's go home" Steve says . He's worried and you don't know how to help him, you can only hope that Rhodey will help you.

"I can't believe we're going to do this..." Sam says before entering the room. "Mr. Secretary" Steve says when you enter the room. "you had some nerves... i'll give you that" "you could use some of that right now" Nat says. "the world is on fire, and you think all is forgiven?" "I'm not looking for forgivness, and i'm way past ask for permision" Steve says and it fills you with pride. " Earth just lost your best defender, so we're here to fight" you say. "if you wanna stand in our way, we'll fight you too" Steve says taking a step forward. "arrest them" he says and Rhodey nods before cutting the transmission. "i'ts grate to see you Cap" Rhodey says with a smile "Y/N" he says hugging you "you guys... really look like crap" he jokes. "Well the hotels weren't a five stars" Sam adds. "i ... i think you look grate" you hear Bruce, he's back? "hi Bruce" Nat says and you cant help but smile, you could feel the tension in the air. "This is awkward" Sam says and you hit him in the stomach "hey.." "shut up" you say.

"so... they're coming back" Rhodey says. "and they know how to find us" Wanda says worried. "Thanos has the biggest armada in the universe, he's not going to stop until he gets Vision's stone" Bruce explains. "well he have to protect him" Nat adds. "No, we have to destroy the stone" Vision says and the room went silent. "but that would kill you" Wanda says without believing what Vision is saying. "get rid of the stone is the only way that we can make sure Thanos doesn't win" Vision  says and Your eyes are fixed on Steve, who is very quiet. Something tells you that he is thinking about the decision he had to make to save the world 70 years ago. What he lost. "only you have the power to do it Wanda" Vision says. "No... you can't ask me that" You can see how Wanda struggles to contain the tears. "one live can't get on the way of saving the universe" Vision say to Wanda. "but it should" Steve says speaking for the first time "we do not trade lives" "You did the same thing 70 years ago, tell me how this is different" Steve didn't know how to answer but Bruce has another idea, if they can separate the stone from  Vision, they can destroy the stone without destroying Vision. "I know a place to do it" Steve offers "get ready, we do not have time to lose"

"Steve, are you okay?" you ask when you are alone in the room. "an alien wants to destroy half of the universe, do you think I'm okay?"  he replied defensively. "Steve... i saw you when Vision and Wanda were talking about sacrifice..." you start saying. "I don't want them to make the same mistake as i did" he says looking at the ground. "sacrifice yourself for the rest of the world? i would do the same thing as Vision" you say. "No, i wouldn't let you" he says staring at you. "that's not your decision" you say upset but you decide to calm down "Steve, what you did... was very brave but i know how much you lost that day" "I don't want you to think that I'm not happy with you" He says caressing your face "but i don't want them to suffer like i did, they deserve to be happy. Now we have an option, I will do everything possible to avoid them suffering....I love you Y/N" He says kissing and you know it's true, you know he loves you, but a small part of you is hurt by Steve's reaction. "let's go to see Buck" You say separating yourself from him and going to the plane.
