whenever i see a post or a comment saying "carver joined the templars to spite hawke" i get the urge to reach through the screen and just shake them. but i can't so instead i just type paragraphs defending him. how it wasn't his first choice and that he was literally running out of options. how aveline blocked his guard application while his brother is missing and they're poor as fuck. how he covered hawke's ass while he was out in kirkwall doing apostate shit. and much more and then i just delete everything i typed cause is it really worth arguing with a hater

morning dawn, the sun was rising over the earth (The KIng and The Jester - Morning Dawn)

No time for life lately. I'm taking my final exams and getting ready to move to Saint-Petersburg, so I mostly draw only zines. This drawing is an exception. This is Andrey Knyazev, former frontman of "Korol i Shut" (The King and The Jester), leader of the group "Knyazz". The other day I fulfilled my dream and went to his concert. The hero of my childhood dreams noticed me and called me a witch who hid from him in the crowd. (Note: I sat on the shoulders of a friend for almost the entire concert, and I could be seen from everywhere, but at one moment I decided to get down and rest). Now I constantly think about being a part of his fairy tales. Yes, some witch, yes, hid, but I finally feel alive.

One of my favorite things about Carver being in the Grey Wardens is how angry he gets if you side with the Templars. Like this man solo’d his way through a burning Kirkwall and away from the Wardens because he thought his family was on the chopping block, just to see you with the Templars and just stares at you like “Are you dumb? Are you fuckstupid? Where are your brain cells? I’m gonna kick ur ass”
