Jeong Sumin is that one toxic bestie we've all had. She hates all your friends, because she thinks that means that you don't want her anymore. She will manipulate you, leave you in the lurch, and cover it up with sweet words and crocodile tears.

Sumin thought Jiwon was weak and couldn't make friends aside from her. So she used this to her advantage.

I can personally attest to having people like that in my life. And I can also say that I left them, to find a whole new group of friends who made me feel comfortable in my own skin.

He’s not jealous, because that would be absurd. Henry’s one of his best friends. It’s not— It’s not like that between them. He’s happy for Henry, truly. He just doesn’t understand why Henry wouldn’t previously have mentioned that his boyfriend is a fucking shapeshifter.

(Alex isn’t exactly thrilled to meet Henry’s boyfriend David—obviously a shapeshifter—but what really bothers him is the fact that David refuses to show his human face.)

If only his feelings on his childhood rival wouldn't get in his way, now that Alex has earned himself a seat in the Ferrari team.
