Sooo, I'm doing some research on bees found in Washington state for a fursona I'm working on aaaaand it turns out, some of the smallest genus of bees call Washington home! The Genus Perdita, or "Fairy Bees."
They can range from 2mm to 10mm big! Or, small rather.
Look at how tiny they are!!! Absolutely tiny lil guys!
