CONCLUSIONS! lived up to the hype! i think it's a bit 13-era vibe in that it's clearly influenced by all the prestige space-base-isolation scifi we see in the ~cinema now every year. the aesthetic is hitting that vibe (and going to the root, there's also a very clear Alien influence). kinda wish we had more one offs just like this one :( bc i feel the other 2 specials have too much Work to do, so there's not enough time to do.Fun like lore and character stuff. Execution wise is very successful. the switcheroos work. the callbacks work. there's a lot of character stuff happening ("I just realized I'm still working through that!") but it doesn't interfere w/ the adventure itself. My one grip is there's a couple shots that do feel too green-screen-y, but overall the ep is visually amazing. def only a story you could do now. also I love that the NMDs were like "rtd is gonna retcon the timeless child!!! everyone hated it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and he was like "cool. now watch this" lollll king moments. rare moments where it feels like we live in the best timeline.

☆Stellium through the houses☆

I got a lot of stellium related messages, so here it is. I have a 6 planets 1st house stellium, so I have a lot to say.

☆ Stelliums are a very controversial topic, as each astrologer has their own way of interpreting it. However, essentially a stellium is a focus on a certain sign or house in a chart. Some astrologers believe that 3 or more planets makes a stellium, whilst some believe 4 or more planets. I tend to go with the 3 or more planets stellium interpretation. However, I personally do not interpret asteroids or angles (asc,dc,mc,ic) as being part of a stellium and mostly focus on planets, but it really does depend on the dynamic of each chart.

☆ A stellium is much stronger if it happens between personal planets (sun-mars) or if it's a combination of personal planets and generational planets (saturn-pluto) and if the planets are in strong conjunctions. The closer to each other and the more planets, the more focused and rare the chart is.

☆ Any planet or sign that is part of this stellium will be a significant one in this person's journey. So if someone has a 2nd house stellium involving the sun, moon and mercury - then houses in which they have leo, cancer and gemini/virgo will have a focus for them as well.

☆ If not cared for enough, a stellium can turn into an obsession of a person on that particular sign's energy or house energy. That is why, it's important to find ways in which you balance the energy of your stellium and this usually works through implementing more of the opposite house's and sign's energy into your life.

☆ 1st house stellium

A first house stellium means that there is a focus on self expression and developing this person's identity, as well as outwardly expressing their personality. These people might have strong personalities and really take pride in it, especially if the sun is involved. I find that 1st house stellium people have multiple layers to their personality. This is not to say that they are two faced, but when it comes to their identity, there is never a moment when you get bored of getting to know them as there are endless new things you can find out about them. First house stelliums embody the energy of all the planets that are found in there. The more planets, the more blend out the energy is and it might be harder to pinpoint exactly the ways in which a certain planet is coming off as. These people might have the ability to adapt to the environment they are in and portray a certain personality depending on the situation, while still appearing as their ascendant. The ascendant is the one that dictates the flavors of those energies in the house. The downside of having a first house stellium is that they can be rather individualistic to the point where they do focus way too much on themselves and live in a bubble. Also, there might be a lack of cooperation and they might find it difficult to work in a team or ask for help (not really if you have 7th house planets as well). It's always a great idea to balance with the opposite house, so spending time with your loved ones or investing in your romantic relationships or engaging in teamwork activities will help. In terms of appearance, these people are rather going to turn heads with their aura and have a sort of intriguing vibe to them. These people are straightforward and really shine whenever they are in their confidence and have so much of themselves to share with the world, they are meant to put it all out there and be appreciated for it.

Having a second house stellium means that there is a focus on the material world and possessions and depending on the sign the planets are in, you can tell a lot about what possessions actually mean for this person - this can mean that they either value money or they value spirituality and life experiences over the material. However it may be, these people have a lot of inner strength. Whenever they feel down, they do get back up and they always fight to make it on their own. There might be an issue here with wanting to keep things for themselves too much or with putting too much pressure on themselves to the point where it affects their self worth and they get insecure. They need to be careful to not rely too much on the idea that there is just one clear path for them to go on and that if they do not reach a certain status, things won't work out for them. They are very practical and calculated people and their consistency is usually what gets them to be successful eventually and be appreciated for their integrity.

A third house stellium shows that there is an emphasis on communication or things of the mind for this person. As the 3rd house also rules the years when we are in school or our hometown, it's likely that these people either got a lot of attention in school or had some traumatic experience when they were younger, depending on the planets or signs involved. However, the purpose of a 3rd house stellium is to use their voice in order to express the things that maybe were once repressed or that they feel a deep need to talk about. These people have a lot to say and they have powerful opinions, without necessarily judging others. They can, however, get in heated arguments and sometimes get stuck into their ideas or their thoughts. 3rd house stellium people have a great eye for details and a way with words - they might be good at writing or singing or anything that involves communication, even small talk. Also, they are likely to learn a lot from building a family on their own, weather this means getting married or simply owning a pet. These people are warm and caring and have this innate mother instinct that shines through. They are also quite intuitive and empathetic, however this is mostly a private area for them which they keep to themselves. The place they live in can influence their mood so much. The trouble here comes when they focus too much on being in a safe and comfortable environment or being surrounded by people they care about that they do not prioritize their growth or they tend to be a bit codependent. They need to balance the energy with the 10th house, so focus on their career and their future goals and use these really beautiful qualities they inherited from their family as an asset into putting themselves out there. Depending on the planets or sign they have here, they might not have moved a lot and when they do, it likely feels like they are out of their comfort zone, they need to build a space that encourages their growth and that's rather luxurious even. A fifth house stellium shows a person that is naturally talented or gifted. They came here to showcase these talents and they need to be careful to not to take them for granted and instead use them as a way to find meaning and pleasure in life. They can sometimes lean too much onto the idea of finding pleasure and adopt this careless attitude that focuses on prioritizing themselves before their friends - which can be both good or bad depending on the situation. These people are likely naturally good with children or they are meant to have children of their own and so keep their talents alive, they are also likely to have artists in their family or people that have, again, some really natural skill. GODS AND HOW THEY AFFECT PEOPLE PT 2

Okay, so we established this is a possibility that they associate and gift their talents and eyes to people living. If you haven't seen that post it's on my master list/pinned post.

Gotta thank @i-would-marry-thunderhead though they didn't try they helped me find a missing piece on what I was looking for.

It's not random. As planets rule zodiacs, it's know some gods rule them, and it's not just planets as not all mythology and religion is based on planetary stuff. For example, if Ares rules mars and Mars rules Aries. People with Aries in their chart are gifted some of the small things Ares has.

So here are the planets and what they rule along with some things the gods may gift you Greek and Roman style. If you would like other gods please ask I'm not well versed in many others it's been a while since I've researched.

Preferably they will be within the big 3 but there are also minor things to look into I can't remember all of a sudden I REMEMBER

SUN:

Apollo seems to be talked about with the sun but it also looked like Helios was the main with Apollo helping out at times or more often so they'll both be here ig: like said they rule the sun and the sun rules Leo (guessed it lol ily guys) some gist given to you Leo charted people you may be gifted with the ability to partially know if something is a 'yes or no' you may get deja Vu at times as signs from Apollo. The Promises I Made (2021)

Well... um... I’m alive? And if you’re reading this, you’re alive too! That’s something to feel okay about, at least. At the end of 2020 I really thought things could not possibly get worse, but 2021 was, without question, one of the worst years of my life. At the beginning of the year I experienced a series of serious medical complications that put me in and out of the hospital five times, which left me with more than a thousand dollars in medical bills and forced me to move back in with my family in California for more than six months while recuperating. Then the freeze in Texas ruined both my water heater and my air conditioner and caused the collapse of a large tree into my house, costing me a combined total of $7000 on top of my medical bills. My young cat was let out of my parents’ house by a family member and was hit by a car and killed in April. My boss abruptly left her position and I was essentially the only employee who could take over for her, so I was given a “promotion” to department chair a week into the fall semester with no time for training and with no support and the job is so stressful it’s literally giving me grey hairs. My beloved dog who I’ve had for 11 and a half years is now 12.5 years old and the vet has confirmed that he will likely only live a couple months more...

But ummm, I’m still here! I’m finally starting to get on a medicine regime that is actually making a difference in my health situation! I’ve almost paid off the debt from this year! I’m going to face 2022 with as much confidence and hope as I can. So, with that said, here’s a look back at the New Years Resolutions I made last year!

Promises I Made (2021):

1) Complete the window well on the new basement window so I can finally call that project good.

Status: Kept, but Jesus Christ this was a hassle and a half for sure.

2) Get the Utah house sprinklers working again to prevent dead grass.

Status: Kept, they ran for most of the summer, but there are still some problems with them so it’s back to the drawing board again in the spring.

3) Get the back fence back into place and the greenery trimmed.

Status: Broken. There was so much ease to do, this simply wasn’t possible.

4) Get the patio replaced before it honestly does just fall down on someone.

Status: Kept, but it was also a major hassle. Getting any work done in Utah is a nightmare, the workers are such poor quality.

5) Get an official exercise routine including walking/jogging, please.

Status: Broken. I was doing okay for a while there but it’s so hot through the summer and fall here that being outside is miserable...

6) Related to the above, lose 15 pounds. Teaching from home basically meant I spent all of 2020 sitting in front of computer, not moving, and it shows…

Status: Broken. I did not lose any weight. In fact, I probably gained some. 2021 was too hard.

7) Successfully use the new Roomba my parents got me to keep my floors cleaner. (So much… dog hair…)

Status: Broken. Currently due to my dog’s age, he can’t move around much, and I don’t want to bother him with a Roomba, so I’m waiting on this.

8) Get my wisdom tooth removed. (Holy shit, please Echo…)

Status: Kept, although in the end it came down to being forced to due to the medical situation lol.

9) Get a haircut. (No, really, I didn’t get a haircut at all in 2020 and my hair is so long I’d make Sailor Mars jealous.)

Status: Kept.

10) Find a real doctor to renew my medicine prescriptions so I don’t have to use an asthma inhaler that expired two years ago… please…

Status: Kept. And then the real doctor referred me to like four other specialists because my health situation is so fucked up, so...

11) Fix the back Texas lawn because I let it get pretty bad.

Status: Broken. I spent about four months of 2021 actually in Texas, all of them frantically working.

12) For that matter, uhhhh, let me fix the front yard too.

Status: Somewhat kept. At least in the sense that after the freeze killed uhhh EVERYTHING, I did have the dead trees and such removed, so the yard does look more professionally groomed now.

13) Find a credenza for the foyer. Even if it’s expensive, just buy one already Echo.

Status: Kept. And I got one at a decent price, so this wasn’t too bad.

14) Finish at least seven new books this year. (This goal feels so small, but when do I ever get time to just sit down and read nowadays?)

Status: Broken. From January to April I wasn’t able to focus on anything other than my medical situation, and then from April to August I was working on home renovations, and then from August to now I’ve just been doing my exhausting job... I want time to myself, please...

15) Organize my documents (especially student papers)—my desktop and documents folders give me nightmares just looking at them.

Status: Broken. Honestly I just forgot I made this promise and so I didn’t do it. I should do this though, yikes...

16) Get a decent paper shredder to shred old mail.

Status: Broken. I do need one though...

17) Talk to an HR rep about my retirement savings so that I can consolidate my retirement accounts.

Status: Broken. I wasn’t too busy calling insurance constantly...

18) Do at least one artwork to actually use that new paint program I bought.

Status: Broken. Oof. One day, surely...

19) Get the dishwasher fixed… even if I don’t quite know what’s wrong with it.

Status: Broken. But I did call a repair person at least... So maybe they’ll call me back after the holiday and come look at it...

20) Pay my credit card down by at least ½. I made good progress this last year but I need to get it down a lot more before I’ll really be feeling good again.

Status: Somewhat kept. I did pretty well on this, but I didn’t quite make it to 1/2 due to all the extra expenses that suddenly hit me last year. At least it’s a lot better than it was before.

21) Have all class changes and updates done before classes begin so I only have to worry about grading, not prep too. (There’s always new prep… I never get a break…)

Status: Kept. I actually managed to do this one, thank goodness, or I never would have survived the fall.

22) Get the toilet in the Texas house fixed as well as the water heater checked because the shower in the back bathroom is cold, blech.

Status: Somewhat kept. The water heater had to be replaced due to the freeze, but I still need to get the toilet looked at to see if there is a valve leak in the wall.

23) Help King lose weight to help with his arthritis. Aim for 85 pounds!

Status: Somewhat kept. He did lose quite a bit of weight, 11 pounds so far, but honestly I don’t think it’s really a good thing. I think he’s losing the weight from declining appetite due to his body slowing down. T_T

24) See a groove-billed ani. (It’s another type of bird.)

Status: Broken. I tried but failed to find this bird. 2022 will be the year!

25) Make it to 3000 followers on tumblr. Can I do it? Maybe if I posted actual content once in a while…

Status: Kept. Thank you for following me, everyone!

26) Update HaaH at least once. Please. At least once…

Status: Broken. I’m so sorry...

27) Force Convince my father to fix the fixture in my parents’ front bathroom so my mother will finally stop complaining to me about the leaking sink.

Status: Kept. New sink, no leak!

28) Buy a new pair of shoes. I’ve literally worn the same pair of shoes almost every day for the last four years and it’s like… time to let them go.

Status: Kept. They’re not as comfy as my old shoes though. I miss you, Coach tennies...

29) Finish streaming the Fruits Basket remake with Kacchan.

Status: Broken! We made it to the end of season two I think? But we did stream literally all of the Marvel movies together so like we just watched other stuff instead; does this count?

30) Finish the other two courses I was offered because bonus money…

Status: Kept and passed with flying colors, thanks.

31) Save up to finally buy one of those Ember heated tea mugs.

Status: Broken, mostly because I had to really cut down on my tea and coffee consumption this year due to medical issues. But I do still want one of these, so maybe soon.

32) Help my parents save money on their bills by consolidating their services and making some calls to retention of these companies for them.

Status: Broken. I did talk to them about this though, but they abhor change of any kind. More likely to get blood from a stone then get them on a new service.

33) Get vaccinated for Coronavirus as soon as the vaccine is available.

Status: Kept and I got my booster too!

34) Play the new TWEWY game (if it isn’t delayed)–I’m so excited!

Status: Broken, I haven’t played it yet. But my brother got it for me for Christmas so maybe if I get a break soon I can.

35) Find a way to spend more time with my coworker. She does so much for me; I really need to repay her kindness more.

Status: Kept, somewhat forcibly in that she had to drive me to the hospital so many times... @_@ No, more seriously, we did spend a lot more time together this year.

36) Do a video chat and bake with Kacchan since we can’t meet in person to bake together this year!

Status: Broken. My family came to Texas from out of town and took up all my free time over the holiday break.

37) Learn to take better FFXIV screenshots. I need to learn how to use Gpose better.

Status: Broken. I didn’t really take the time to play around with glamour/screenshot stuff this year in between everything else I had to do.

38) I will go birdwatching at least six times this year.

Status: Kept. I did a lot more birdwatching this year than last year!

39) I will use the exfoliating mask and sugar scrubs I was given for Christmas. I will this time, I really will!!

Status: I did not.

40) I will get my kitty Gremory to the vet because there’s something not quite right with his claws and I want it checked out.

Status: Kept. Unfortunately, one of the worst things to happen this year was the loss of my precious kitty Gremory due to one of my family members letting him out of my parents’ house and us not being able to get him back inside before . I am still heartbroken.

41) Get a bedframe for the new guest bedroom bed I was able to buy.

Status: Kept.

42) Eat fewer snacks in 2021–stop buying Oreos, Echo. You can do it.

Status: Look man, it was 2021. I don’t even blame myself.

43) Help ensure that the Todoroki family zine makes it out to everyone who ordered and we are able to close out that zine project strong!

Status: Kept! We did it and the zine looks so good!

44) Get all of the wolf mounts in FFXIV, finally. I never bothered to grind these at all lol.

Status: Broken. I didn’t bother. I’m still missing... Tsukuyomi, Seiryu, and Suzaku, I think?

45) I will help my mother go through all the family’s Christmas things because the house is so overloaded with Christmas stuff it’s actually becoming a big nuisance. (My family’s Christmas obsession could probably be a plot of a Christmas comedy movie at this point…)

Status: Broken. We did go through them, but she didn’t want to get rid of much, oof.

46) Actually watch the Downton Abbey movie, finally.

Status: Broken. I bought it, but haven’t watched it. T_T

47) Take ten “really good” photographs this year.

Status: Kept. I don’t know if every one is really TOP TOP quality, but I got some really gorgeous owl pictures and I’m happy with them.

48) Spend more time with my aunt; we don’t see each other nearly enough.

Status: Somewhat kept. I did go out with her a few times but it was a hard year.

49) A promise provided by a friend: “Try a new Mexican dish. One that doesn’t have mole on it, for once.”

Status: Broken. I left Texas for most of the year and did not really go out even after coming back. Next year, hopefully.

50) I will keep these promises. LOLLLLL.

After all, there’s many aspects and layers of Johnny from wut we have seen, his variety moments, then his serious and lowkey intimidating moments as he is one of the eldest, and him with his members, playing along with them and talking with them personally. Johnny has a lot of meme moments, or rather memes insert in many video compilation of nct, it’s either iconic or just very “johnny” of him in terms of thinking, but remains memorable in nct content which can show of aquarius innovation and making new statements(moments/events). His gemini moon makes him share his intellect of moving through his thoughts quickly, at times making him quite reflexive verbally and etc, and him being random at times becuz gemini moons are the type of brains that will go through so many ideas and thoughts that wut u see may be only a fraction or part of their wittiness and intellect. Man, I forgot to post 90% of my art here for the past while. I’m gonna do an art dump in this post under the cut. Enjoy the bonk emoji if you don’t click the read more, and man am I dumb and forgetful lmao.

[04/14/21] - This isn’t really new art, but I started to work on giving the four OCs of mine without a full name full names... I have not finished this bit, though. So Hunter and Akira have full names, and Warlock and Assassin only have temporary names. This may end up like Seven where I put in their names as a temporary name (7th OC I’d made at that time) and it just kind of... sticks. Lmao.

[04/20/21] - Alone on a Friday Night? God, you’re pathetic. I didn’t colour this one because it was a half-attempt at a meme image I still like it, though, so I might end up colouring it. It’s gonna appear again whenever I do my “unfinished drawings art dump” at some point probably in... June? I know I said I’d post them last month but forget it, lmao, it’ll happen eventually.

[04/20/21] - A D&D Map! This was to help me visualize the layout of my D&D character’s ship he used to be on. Also for my DM if they ever put us aboard the ship. The little fella in the corner is just there to vibe. This map is made of free to use assets from This Website, so while I’m gonna say DONT USE MY MAP WITHOUT PERMISSION, feel free to make your own!

[04/26/21] - Lesbian Day of Visibility drawing of yours truly, the disapointment! That’s... really all I have to say about this, honestly. It was just for that one day and that was it, lmao. I mean, I accidentally lined it in dark pink, so.. .That’s different, I guess?

[04/30/21] - Do Astral Seas dream of Ensorcled Sheep? Does the City know what Sheepleb is going to do? What crimes he may commit? Who knows! This was fan art of Critical Role ep. 134 if I remember correctly, right at the end when they jumped into the portal into the astral sea and Caleb was a sheep. Using my knowledge of the German language, I knew the word for “shit”, and had to use it.

[05/07/21] - This was already posted, but it’s going in here to dilinuate that it was drawn at this point. Also, aside from playing Miitopia, this is all I have to show for myself until the 12th.

[05/12/21] - Hex Maniac Ender challenges you to a Pokemon Battle! WIll you win against my team? My sis, who loves fairy types, pointed out to me that there’s a fairy girl and hex maniac duo, so I’d be the hex maniac. I spent... Over a week drawing this, because I basically had to redraw the Hex Maniac art from scratch in a higher quality size, and then draw myself over it. So... You can excuse the low-effort background for once. It was basically this, and then my birthday doodle from May 1st to May 12th, and then I took a break to draw up several D&D characters quickly for fullbody references.

[05/12/21] - Remember this art I made several months ago? I finally added my other two completed characters! I have three more named but without character sheet D&D characters, so for now this is just Kara, Axel, Golden Shadow, Kau, Cecillia, and Miri. Kress, Tempest, and Melia will have to wait until I make character sheets for them to be posted, and... For when I probably make more D&D characters. I have at least 9 additional, incomplete character ideas floating around, so... I’m never gonna be done this art, huh?

[05/12/21] - Speaking of D&D characters, did you know I’ve been making them as Miis in Miitopia? So here is their finished full body art next to their Miitopia self! Some of them look a little off (Golden Shadow, Cecillia) because of limitations of the editor and shading issues, some of them look a little off (Kau, Kress) because this is a human face canvas that I’m using to make a non-human face, and some of them (Melia, Axel) look REALLY GOOD. Common traits among my D&D characters include green eyes and tall. You wanna know why? Because I am tall and... despite having red eyes, I do have green eyes under the coloured contacts.

[05/15/21] - More D&D stuff! This is based around my D&D group’s current Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign where our Goliath Fighter, Nioh, ends up getting a little bit of hate for being cocky, and our little (well over 6′) hater, Axel, is just a man full of irritation. These are the tallest two characters of the group at the moment. Someone send help. Nioh belongs to one of the other D&D players, Axel (and his stupid additude) belongs to me.

[05/15/21] - This is what me playing D&D feels like. Me, the demon entity trapped inside the head of my D&D character, yelling at them to do things while the dice decide that they’re gonna get bopped a hundred times by a yeti and somehow still survive. This is also a reference to our first or second game where I just ran off like sixty feet to one side of the battle map to fight a Crag Cat and was just in Gay Baby Jail until like two turns later when I could run back to the others. I also drew him not in his winter gear even though this is a bit from when we were atop Kelvin’s Carin in an icy cave, so maybe that’s why he’s at low HP.

[05/15/21] - Melia has good gardening tips, such as Use A Mars Mii Trap To Hide A Body Because They Are Endangered And It Is Illegal To Dig Them Up. I love her a lot, because she’s the youngest of four, all four sisters based around the different seasons. She’s based around Autumn, so she’s all orange and yellow and brown and is so cute. Also she’s Chaotic Neutral, as if she didn’t need to be mildly more threatening.

[05/15/21] - Cecillia is my Tiefling gal who lived in a very northern town plagued by cold weather and snow, and Axel is my Pirate guy who spent most of his time further south on the high seas and warmer weather. So, naturally... I’ll use the guy more acclimatized to the hotter weather in the campaign where we spend 99% of it in the snow. She uses Tarot Cards as her spell focus, and I decided to sneak my other D&D characters onto her Tarot cards so naturally, Axel is The Hanged Man, given his backstory and personality. She’s a very cheerful and friendly Tiefling Necromancer of the Hexblade, so she’d for sure take care of those around her to ensure their success. Especially if they’re on her Tarot Cards, and their spirit comes to her aid when she asks for them.

[05/16/21] - Content Warning; Ryma thinks too much into local stupid moron’s lack of knowing how to answer a question and thinks too much into the reputation of Pirates. Poor Axel, man doesn’t know how to socialize with people who aren’t pirates and is used to being hostile towards everyone, so when he’s asked a question that his answer to is “uhh... no?”, he panics and ends up making a mistake that leads him to think that Ryma can read his mind. Ryma belongs to another of the D&D players. I guess me drawing all those spicy Cow Costumed OCs earlier just brought me to drawing Axel being a bottom in this, huh?

[05/16/21] - It’s Mermay, which means more OC drawings! Here’s Theo after drinking some potion that turned him into a mermaid, and Seven, tiredly, collecting his stupid boyfriend so that Lailah can fix the fact he’s turned into a mermaid. Mer!Theo is based around his sword’s colours of indigo-purple with red accents, which looks a little weird since Theo is the Blue one of the group, but... it looks cool, I guess. Seven’s just the same outfit as always, just no gloves this time.

And that’s it for the art dump! This was, frankly, MASSIVE. I’ll try and remember to upload both on Twitter and Tumblr at the same time, but... Ah... I have been drawing a fair bit. Just mostly sketches and linework that I haven’t finished and may not actually finish. If they’re not completed, I’ll dump them all into something at the end of the month or whatever. Maybe you’ll get the old sketch of the Axel face in panel 3 because in the sketch phase it was an Ahegao face, in the clean sketch it was a lip bite, and in the linework and final it’s just horny face. lmao.

Top ten things I have to remember for drawing: AXEL HAS A SCAR AND GREEN EYES. I remember his eye colour now, but if you look at his fullbody ref, he’s got brown eyes. And, naturally, I keep forgetting to put in his scar. He has more, but most of them are located in areas covered by his clothes. So if I ever draw him shirtless I guess I’ll have to place them somewhere.

Also maybe finish the reference sheets I have left to finish so I can post more of them, since I have two “Pets” completed (Roko and Mona’s nameless pet), but I have to do up Hunter, Warlock, Assassin, Akira, Myuut, and Stella. I’m betting when I do complete two more, it’ll be Hunter and Akira. Those two are the most fun to draw, at least.

Through The Utility Closet Part 3: Get Tested

Y/N had never been a fan of hospitals. In fact, she had gone above and beyond in her efforts to avoid going to them. She thought she could probably count all of her hospital visits on her fingers. Thankfully, she was a fairly healthy individual, so it wasn't hard for her to stay out of the Emergency room. They were too sterile, too clean, and everyone was always bustling and grumping around, and poking and prodding all the time. Y/N knew that the hospital wasn't supposed to be an enjoyable place to spend time, but she definitely was of the opinion that steps could be made to make it at least comfortable. Or hospitable, if you'll excuse the joke.

Still, she was in a new dimension, apparently, and so exceptions must be made when it comes to personal dislikes against institutions. She wanted to get home, after all, and this was a necessary step. In order for these scientists to send her back home, they must figure out where exactly she is from, otherwise they could end up sending her to a completely wrong place or time or what have you, and that would just be a disaster.

Once she was up on the exam table, Y/N did her best to appear friendly to the business-like nurse. She was quick and efficient as she hooked Y/N up to at least different machines, and tied a rubber band around her upper arm. For a moment, Y/N was worried that these strangers might be shooting her full of drugs, but then she remembered that this was simply routine for drawing blood. She hoped that medical procedures weren't too different in this world from her own.

Y/N was relieved when the nurse brought in a tray of empty vials and begin to explain what she was doing.

"I'm going to draw some blood so we can do some tests. I'll also need a hair sample, and I'm going to do a saliva swab as well, just so we can take a look at your DNA. How's that sound?"

"Invasive."

The nurse smiled. "I promise you'll barely feel a thing. The swab will be oral, same as checking for strep."

The nurse did her tests, and then let a few scientists in lab coats in. They pulled up chairs in front of the exam table and introduced themselves, although Y/N forgot their names as soon as she heard them.

"Okay, so I guess the first question is for you to introduce yourself and where you're from."

"My name is Y/N Y/L/N, and I'm from (hometown) in (country). I was working at one of my jobs when I fell through an inter dimensional portal and ended up here."

"Good start. Can you tell me about the planetary system from your home world?"

"I guess so." Y/N thought about it for a second, trying to remember those astronomy lessons from many years ago. "Earth is the third planet from the Sun, which is the centre of the system. Then there's Mercury, Mars, Earth, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Pluto, and I think I'm missing some. I can't remember the order, sorry, I've never been good at planets."

"That's all right. Can you tell me how many days in a year?"

"365."

"And how old are you?"

"22."

"And how old do people usually live to be?"

"Uh, I don't know. Maybe anywhere from 70 to 90 years?" Should have paid for attention in stats class.

"How big are spiders in your world?"

"Some of them are super tiny, like you can barely see them. And then some of them are huge, like a dinner plate."

"I see. And how big are chickens?"

"What?"

"How big are chicken? I know it's a weird question, but some worlds have gigantic chickens that actually prey on humans."

"Thats, um, disturbing. But my chickens are normal size? Like small enough to fit in an oven."

"Ok, well that's good. "

There where more questions like this, some about history and some about geography and flora and fauna. When they were all done, the scientists discussed for a minute by themselves.

"Okay, well, from what we can tell, your world is incredibly similar to our own, with the major differences likely being social development. You say you don't have the Avengers in your world?"

"No, we don't have any superheroes or superpowers at all. I wish, though."

"Yeah, that makes sense. How much do you know about inter-dimensional portals?"

"Absolutely nothing."

"Ok, well that's fair, it's a tough subject. So pretty much, each dimension has kind of bridges to reach out to other dimensions. When two bridges line up, there's a chance for people or things to cross over."

"Okay, that makes sense I guess."

"A lot of the time, these bridges go unnoticed. Some dimensions are connected permanently, some are connected cyclicly, and some are connected for less than a second at a time, which makes them extra hard to track. You with me so far?"

Y/N nodded.

"Don't worry if you don't get it. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that we might have a hard time tracking down your world."

"Okay, but how long do you think it'll take? How long does it normally take?"

The scientists shifted uncomfortably. "Well that's the thing. There is an infinite amount of universes you could be from, and it'll take a while to narrow it down to just the most likely. From there, we would have to figure out what kind of bridges they all have, and figure out how to predict it, and then figure out a way to send you back."

"Oh, that does sound complicated. So like a month?"

They glanced at each other. "We've never done this before, and we've never sent anyone back through a bridge."

"Two months?"

"Maybe a year."

"What?"

"I said, maybe a year?"

"I'm going to be here for a year."

"Maybe, like I said we've never done this before so we can't really give you an idea of how long it will take."

"Oh my God."

"We're very sorry. We'll give you some space."

The scientists left, and the nurse from before came back in and started unhooking Y/N from the monitors.

"We've run all the tests we need to, dear. Do you have any questions?"

"I have so many questions, I don't even know where to begin."

"That's understandable. We'll have your results back in a few hours, and that'll help the scientists get a head start on where you're from. I've got your clothes here, if you step through that door you'll be able to change in privacy."

Y/N nodded and jumped off of the table, gathering her clothes in her rooms and she quickly walked across the cold floor to the changing room. She pulled on her work clothes, which consisted of jeans and a black t-shirt, but opted to leave the apron and baseball cap off. There was no need to wear them here. Y/N put her shoes back on, simple canvas slip-ons, and reflected on what she had just learned. Here are the facts.

1. She had magically teleported through a door.

2. She was now stuck in a world that apparently had superheroes.

3. The superheroes had no idea how to get her back, or how long it would take to figure it out.

4. She was stuck.

Now, a normal person might cry when they considered this situation. But, Y/N was not a normal person. She had the fun meal-deal of anxiety and depression, and at this moment, she thanked her ill little brain for causing her to overthink every little scenario so she would be prepared for the worst to happen. Of course, none of those thoughts covered time and dimension travel, but they had covered a sudden zombie apocalypse, so it was just a matter of adjusting the survival strategy. Find shelter, find friends, and fight to live.

So far, Y/N had maybe found friends. The Avengers seemed like a friendly bunch, if oddly beautiful, and Sam had offered his basement as shelter. Now, all she had to do was figure out the day to day stuff. Get a job, live a life, and get back to her world.

So she stepped out of the changing room back into the hallway, and say the Avengers gathered around. They all turned to her as the door closed behind her.

"And what did you find out from the scientists, Y/N?" Vision asked.

"Well, they tried explaining how inter-dimensional portals work. That went way over my head. But basically, I'm gonna be stuck here for a while until they can figure out where I'm from and figure out how to get me back. So, I guess I'm going to need to find a job or something pretty quick."

Tony shook his head and stepped to the front of the group. "That won't be necessary. I'm loaded, and I'll make sure you're set up to not need anything."

"Why?"

"Because I want to? You just flew through outer space into a whole new world, and you're worried about getting a job? Come on, live a little! You look like you work too hard. What work do you do?"

"At which job?"

"Well how many do you have?"

"Three."

"Holy moly."

"Yeah."

"Why?"

Y/N shrugged. "I get bored."

"So you work?"

"Beats sitting around on my ass."

"Fair point. Well anyways, enjoy the vacation for now, and in the future if you still want a job, we'll have to figure out the proper documents. For now, enjoy your vacation! I'm loaded, and this is the perfect opportunity to share, okay?"

"If you really want to, I mean, I don't mind working."

"Clearly, you have three jobs. Psycho. But no, I don't mind. In fact, I would be offended if you didn't accept my offer."

"Okay, well, then, thanks!"

"No problem. I already gave Sam a credit card for you, so you can go shopping on your way to his house. You do know how to work a credit card, right?"

Y/N grinned. "Yes, Tony, I know how to work a credit card. My world apparently isn't that different from this one, just a few small differences I guess."

"Good. Alright, well, roll out, team."

The Avengers dissipated until it was just Sam, Steve, and James standing around with Y/N.

"So you're still coming with us, right?" Sam asked.

Y/N shrugged. "Yeah, I guess so. If you don't mind, of course."

"Not at all. It'll be nice having a girl in the house, for once."

The group of four started walking down the long hallway.

"So do you just collect strays, Sam?" Y/N asked, curious of why he was so eager to offer his spare room to a total stranger.

Before he could answer, Steve cut in. "Yeah, I mean, why else did you think we lived with him?"

"I don't know. I thought maybe you were in a band, or really good gym buddies, or maybe even a throuple."

Sam choked on a laugh, but Bucky and Steve looked confused. "What's a throuple?" James asked.

"It's like a couple, but instead of it being two people, it's three." Y/N explained.

"And you thought?" Steve almost looked offended.

"Look, sorry, I don't know what's normal for you here, and I didn't want to assume it was all platonic!"

Sam was dying laughing. "You thought -" he had to lean on a wall to keep standing upright. "Man, we're just good friends, and these two have absolutely no credit, so it's hard for them to find places to stay."

"Ah. I guess being a superhero might not pay well."

"Well, I mean there are other reasons too, but yeah let's go with that." Steve didn't exactly want to jump this poor girl with the fact that he was also over 100 years old and had been frozen for a while. She had enough to worry about.

Y/N didn't pursue the other reasons, because they had finally exited the building and she was looking around, comparing this new world to her own. It was dark out, because it was night. She looked down the street and saw a McDonalds sign, which made her smile. At least she could have her chicky nugs if things got too tough. Turns out this world was just like hers, just with a bit of a different history. A lot more violence, hence the need for superheroes.

They got into the car, and Sam drove them to a mall, where they spent an hour and a half hopping around to different stores to get stuff. Y/N got used to spending someone else's money, and she definitely took advantage of the three guys following her around who offered, nay, insisted on carrying her bags. However, she insisted on going into the drugstore alone so she could collect toiletries.

She grabbed a cart (and honestly who uses a cart in a drugstore unless you have serious money to spend) and spent about 45 minutes going up and down most of the aisles to find what she needed. Luckily, the products were exactly the same as she was used to, so it was only a matter of finding exactly what she needed.

When Y/N finally walked out, she spotted her new companions sitting down on one of those middle-of-the-mall benches that are intended for senior citizens and mothers with rowdy children and men waiting for women to finish their shopping.

"Got everything you need?" Sam asked as he stood up and stretched.

"Yup."

"Alright, let's head home. You feel like pizza for dinner?"

"What's pizza?" Y/N deadpanned, and the three guys looked shocked.

"You don't know what pizza is?" Steve asked.

"Nope, never heard that word before in my life."

"Seriously?"

"Why would I joke about it?"

"You've never had pizza before." James reiterated.

"Nope. What is it?"

"No, you gotta experience it." Sam smiled and started walking back the way they had come.

Steve and James were perfect gentleman, and oddly strong as well, but Y/N again did not complain when they grabbed her bags from the drugstore. She opened doors for them as they went out to the parking lot.

Once they were back in the car, Sam got on his phone and ordered pizza that would be delivered right as they got home, provided traffic cooperated. Y/N spent the drive looking out the window at all the lights and people she saw, and didn't pay much attention to the conversation the guys were having. Nothing looked too out of the ordinary, except for the whole superhero thing.

Once they got to Sam's house, a tidy little bungalow in a quiet neighbourhood, they unloaded the car and headed inside. Steve and James ran downstairs to put Y/N's bags in her room, while Sam gave her a tour.

As they were walking down a hallway, Y/N stopped to look at family pictures hanging on the wall.

"Is this your family?" She asked.

"Yeah, that's my sister and her two boys. They've grown a lot since that picture was taken though."

"They look like lots of fun."

"They're a handful, that's for sure."

"And these are your parents?"

"Yeah," Sam said quietly. "They passed a few years ago, that's the last picture we ever took of them both together."

"Oh I'm so sorry." Sam shook his head as Y/N reached out to touch his arm. "They have really kind eyes." She said, her gaze returning to the picture.

"They were the kindest people I've ever known." Sam said, and just then, the doorbell rang. "Sounds like the pizzas here."

Y/N could hear the two boys thundering back up the stairs as she followed Sam to the front door. She expected that he would need help carrying all the food in.

She was right. The delivery driver had to go back to his car to get a second load of pizza. Y/N brought the first load into the kitchen and got a few plates down from the cupboard.

"Oh, good, you found the plates!" Sam said as he walked into the kitchen a few minutes later.

"Yeah, lucky guess."

They set the table in silence as Steve and James washed up, and then they sat down for dinner.

Sam decided he wanted to know more about Y/N. "So, Y/N, tell us a little bit about yourself."

"Ok, well," Y/N hated this questions, because how do you boil yourself down to just a few facts? She just wished people would ask direct questions, because she could answer questions if they were clear. She hated vagueness. "I'm 22, I still live, or lived, with my parents. I like dogs. My favourite colour is yellow. I have three jobs, as a nanny, in retail, and also at a Bubble Tea shop in my hometown. What else do you want to know?"

"Well that's a lot. Why do you have three jobs?" Steve asked.

Y/N shrugged, having to explain her workaholic tendencies twice in a day. "I get bored. And I like working, keeps life interesting."

"I'll bet. What do you do for fun?"

"I read a lot. And I like to go to the lake. And crochet."

"What kind of books do you read?" Steve asked.

"It depends. Sometimes fantasy, sometimes mystery. I read a lot of those cheap drugstore romances."

"Wait, you crochet?" Sam asked. "What are you, a grandma?"

"Like a crazy, chaotic grandma, kinda. I drink a lot of tea and wear a lot of sweaters, sorry for being comfy!"

They went back and forth for a few minutes. "How do you like the pizza?" Sam asked.

"Well," Y/N waggled her head back and forth, debating how to break the ruse. "Not the best I've ever had, but it's close."

"Wait, you've had pizza before?"

"Yes."

"You said before though-"

"And you believed me?Rookie move, gentlemen."

"Why would you trick us?" They weren't mad, just a little confused. And amused. James hadn't really said much since they sat down for dinner, but he grinned and chuckled at the confused looks on his friends faces.

Y/N shrugged. "Gotta keep you guys on your toes, yaknow?" They all laughed. "But hey, tell me more about you guys. You're super soldiers? What does that even mean?"

Sam and Steve took turns explaining who they were, and how the Avengers came to be. They didn't touch too much on James, who excused himself fairly into the evening. He was a little shy and quiet around newcomers, apparently, but Y/N wasn't bothered. She had bigger things to worry about than someone being shy around her.

When the talking turned to yawns, Sam offered to show Y/N to her room. He took her down the stairs into the basement, which opened up into a spacious rec room. There was a massive TV and a pool table. Down a short hallway were the two previously spare rooms, both of which were now occupied by strays that Sam had picked up. The only bathroom was unfortunately across the basement, but Y/N didn't foresee any problems with that.

Sam explained how every room had it's own colours for sheets and towels and stuff, and Y/N was very impressed with how domestically organized he was turning out to be.

Sam went back upstairs, and Y/N took a few minutes to settle in. She would unpack and run her new clothes through the laundry tomorrow, but for now all she wanted was a hot shower and a good long nights sleep.

She went into the bathroom, and saw that James had already made space for her stuff in the shower caddy, on the towel rack, and in the medicine cabinet above the sink. With a smile on her face, she put her few new belongings in those empty spaces, then drug herself through the shower and fell into her bed, exhausted.

Before her eyes closed, Y/N considered what had happened to her today. In a new dimension, living with three strange yet wonderful men, something that would be sure to give her mother a heart attack. And yet, she was excited for the morning to come. Part of her hoped that when she opened her eyes again, she would wake up in her home world, and she would be surrounded by people she knew and recognized. That's what a normal person would hope for in this situation, right?

But as I've told you before, Y/N is no normal person, and the other part of her was wishing that when she woke up, she would still be here, in Sam's house. She wanted to opportunity to explore, so see what else was out there. Maybe she'd discover a new life, a new chance to be the person she had wished to be but never got the chance. Whatever happened, she knew that tomorrow would be full questions, and hopefully a few answers. She hoped, anyways.

A totally self indulgent compilation of my favorite works on this blog of the year June 13, 2019 - June 13, 2020

I wanted to do this for the blog's first anniversary but then completely forgot about it lol.

The following lists are all in chronological order according to the date each post was first published.

Top 10 panel edits:

#1: Don and Gilda - Chapter 138: Demon serch (1)

Date: Jun 14th, 2019

My very first redraw from my very first edit posted here, so it deserves an honorable mention. Back then I was young and inexperienced, I didn't even apply a gray filter (lmao I was so unskilled I even unintentionally scratched the picture, I hadn't realized until today). I'm actually very happy my first redraw was of Don, boy deserves all the love.

#2: Emma and Ray - Chapter 140: I’m Here!

Date: Jun 28th, 2019

Time: ~ 1 h

Back then this looked like so much work to me!!! And to this day, I think it turned out pretty well. I'm particularly proud of how the bow turned out. This is one I was really proud of right after having finished it; it gave me the confidence to try redrawing bigger areas. Also, the edit were I first applied the opacity of layer / opacity of brush for the gray filter that would have stuck with me.

#3: Krone's birthday edit

I don't know I just really like how Krone's hair vanish to a more sketch-like style here– and consequently, how I managed to replicate such effect. I think Krone's beautiful.

#4: Emma, Norman and Ray - Chapter 153: Coward

Date: Oct 4th, 2019

Time: 4:07 h (and 67 layers lmao)

Probably the single panel redraw I'm the most proud of. That Norman panel was beautiful and very poignant at the end of a chapter I adored, so I believe it deserved all the time I've spent working on it. It's far from being perfect - the back of his head is too plain, and the difference between my brushes and the original brushes is pretty visible - but I still like it very much and am extremely attached to it. The horn looks kinda big but I honestly believe it to be more of an issue with the original than with what I had redrawn lol. Funny enough, the whole picture didn't make it to the final edit and had to be trimmed.

#5: Full Score Trio - Chapter 154: A Breakthrough

Sis I love this so freaking much. The shift from redrawing almost exclusively people and clothes to redrawing this mess was so fun and refreshing. Even though it's a mess I think it turned out very clean and overall it looks beautiful? I remember after finishing this I felt so powerful, like now that I had redrawn this thing I would have been able to redraw anything I set my mind on lol.

#7: Emma - Chapter 161: Never Be Alone

The very first edit I'm actually proud of; I'm really attached to it. It's the first edit I had put all of my effort into, and I remember feeling anxious people would have left it without notes. It kinda feels weird to think about it now, because I really don't care about notes anymore; yet, it somehow makes me happy to think that past-me wasn't let down. Thank you @neverlandstrio for your support, you may not remember but it really meant a lot to me back then! And it still makes me smile. You're the best!!!!!!

#2: Mujika and Queen Legravalima - Chapter 158: The Reason I Was Born

This whole edit was an hella wild ride. It's midnight before a school day, when I think: "Mh, it's been a while since I last made an edit, why not make one about Musica and the queen from the last chapter?" And seven hours after this was born. I'm particularly proud of the queen's redraws on the 3rd, 7th and 9th picture (ofc), the areas which have been redrawn are pretty huge yet I think the difference with the original is almost impossible to notice?? @Redrawing skills where did you go please come back (part 2)

#3: Emma - Chapter 174: A New World (part 1)

I think the panels that were selected work very well together, especially considering the close-up / full body alternation. I love Emma, and I've always been kinda sad noticing that edits that focus one her take the less notes... She deserves all the love. Also, fun fact: for the last but one panel, I had redrawn Emma's whole left ear before remembering she doesn't have one, so I had to redraw the panel from the start. Besides from the error with the ear, the reason why this (and all the others after) took so long is because official panel take way longer to clean.

#4: Isabella and her children - Chapter 177: Mother

Date: May 22nd, 2020

Complessive time: 13:41+ h (ahah.)

Lmao tbh I can't understand how this has so few notes it's like. Technically speaking, probably the best edit I've ever done. I don't even like Isabella that much, I haven't got the slightlest idea why I decided to spend so many hours on this. Anyway, I find the composition (full body on the left / headshots on the right) really good looking in this as well! And I think the redraws turned out fine, especially Isabella's.

#5: The Promised Neverland manga ending countdown→ 1/7 chapters: chapter 1 - Grace Field House

I don't know how I came up with that idea for the composition but I find it really beautiful??? I think it does a pretty good job conveying the sudden, terrific shift of atmosphere from the first chapter, and I think that sharp bridge is very nice. I'm very, very proud of this.

A very good chapter, and the edit turned out surprisingly amazing??? All the redraws look great and make it almost impossible to distinguish them from the original; honestly I feel like I'll never be able to redraw so neatly again lol.

Honorable mention #2: Don and Gilda (+ Norman) - Chapter 160: Shackles

That one is really one of my favorite scenes; I'm telling you peoples, Gilda and Don are a blessing to the earth. I think I've never mentioned it, but Gilda's hair is a nightmare to redraw??? More specifically, it takes me h o u r s to fill the texture without making it look too weird, it's the worst.

Honorable mention #3: Norman and Ray - Chapter 179: Compensation

I was so glad to finally be able to make a Norman / Ray edit, and it turned out it was just in time before the series' finale. I like how it turned out and I'm pretty satisfied with the redraws (even though my sister helped me with the lineart of some panels - it was exams time and I really couldn't afford to spend more time on it), too bad we didn't have more chapters that focused on the boys. Ray sweetie one day I'll fix your ear it's just today's not that day.

Btw, I justed realized I have never done an Emma / Norman centered edit? I'll have to make one eventually. I remember considering focusing on them alone for the chapter 154 one, but then I thought "even if the manga is gonna ignore Ray, I will chose to do not" lol.

I just had really a lot of fun doing it. I love putting all the little things to their own place, it's so calming to do and that's why I love making this kind of things. Also, loved how @temporoom contributed to the post! It was so nice of them to add what they had noticed to come up with more exact conclusions, that's one of the things I love the most about the internet.

#2: A study of how many times the characters of The Promised Neverland call each other through the first season of the anime

I REALLY LOVE IT! I mean it *was* kinda stressing to note everything, but it was very also very satisfying to see everything methodically divided and organized! And it's not just that– it's also the fact that it looks good. That's one post I have fun rereading because it's actually pretty! Also, even though it can be very stressing to learn to use new programs and sites, it's always very satisfying to look at the final result. Again, I really adore compiling these tiny little details! I would love to make more posts of that kind if i had the time.

#3: The Promised Neverland musicals headcanons

It's always nice to put down all your thoughts regarding a particular matter. It can take a lot of time (at least for me it does because... Somebody wants to hear my opinion on this subject! I'm flattered (◍•ᴗ•◍)”

#5: Some other considerations on the series' finale and Emma sacrificing herself

Pretty much the same as above. It's like some kind of clarity when the post is done and signed. Another fun fact, I had to censore the post a lot; the first version was extremely sharp and harsh, but I believe it's right to express your opinions calmly and politely.

1. What fandoms do you write for?

Currently, I’m writing for Shameless (Gallavich) but I’ve written for:

Veronica Mars (LoVe), Veep (Amy/Dan), Arrow (Oliver/Felicity), Once Upon A Time (Hook/Emma), The Old Guard (Joe/Nicky), That 70′s show (Hyde/Jackie), Sons of Anarchy (Tara/Jax), Vampire Diaries (Klaroline), Hart of Dixie (Zoe/Wade), Gilmore Girls (Rory/Jess), X-men (Rogue/Pyro), One Tree Hill (Haley/Nathan), and a few others.

2. What pairings do you write for?

Now I write Gallavich.

But I’d say my top ones I love writing for now (my fanfiction writing has spanned about 14 years) are Dan/Amy, Veronica/Logan, Klaus/Caroline, Mickey/Ian.

3. What is your most popular fanfic?

My most popular fic on Ao3 is The Course of True Love (Arrow) and on FF Of Bloodshed, Babies, and Epic LoVe (Veronica Mars)

4. Do you write original stories as well?

Yes, I do. I’m working on a book, well, two books. But it’s going very slowly. The first is a memoir of my travels from around the world and the second is a vampire urban fantasy one. We’ll see how it goes, but I’d like to finish them by next year and see if I can get them published, but it’s hard so who knows.

10. How do you stay motivated to finish what you’ve started?

Well, recently I’ve really been trying to finish everything I write. I have a lot of WIPs from years and years ago and even within the the last year, so this answer is pretty new. Basically, I focus on one fic at a time and write a little every day to stay motivated. Now, I try to update once a week on a certain day. I think comments/reviews and kudos and people being genuinely encouraging helps though. It’s also what’s gotten me considering finishing my older fics.

Of Bloodshed, Babies, and Epic Love (over 165k)

13. What is your planning process?

Now, it’s different. I have a doc of ideas and I wait to see which one I can’t seem to shake. Then I plan out each chapter with a few sentences and I have a list of things I want to focus on in the story. Usually, each story now has a kind of theme to it and a main focus. I sometimes will just want to write a certain situation/scene/focus and the story is born from there. But what really helps is writing down chapter 1, 2, etc. and having a sentence or two for what I want to happen. It doesn’t always go according to plan, but I never get writers block or forget what happened in previous chapters now.

16. Do you use sentence starters, writing prompts and/or fandom headcanons for your fanfics?

Probably a mixture of fandom (or my personal) headcanons. I don’t start with prompts unless it’s a challenge or sentence starters. Usually, I have a scene I already want to write in my head and then I sit down and write it.

17. Do you use/follow advice from writing blogs/posts?

Yes, I’ve read several books on writing. My undergrad was creative writing too, so I learned a lot there. I also follow writing instagram accounts which are helpful. I take everything I learn with a grain of salt and I see what is best for me. The best advice I heard recently was short sentences and so now I’m experimenting with that.

20. Can we get a list of all of your current available fanfics?

There’s a lot from many different fandoms. I used to be on FF.net as Psyc0gurl0 and now I’m ProstheticLoVe on a03. I like writing on ao3 better cause it’s easier and I love the tagging process. Plus the gallavich fandom on there is unreal. So to think about going back to ff.net to finish my WIPs seems like such a process now.

Currently though, I’m writing an Ian’s POV 5 chapter fic called Chocolate. It’s not out yet, but it’ll focus on Ian from 1x06 to 1x09 or so and how his feelings for Mickey change and evolve. It’s the second part to a series called Chocolate and Cigarettes. Mickey’s POV was Cigarettes.

22. Do you listen to music during your writing process? What music do you listen to while you’re writing?

Yes, I listen while writing but I need silence while editing. I have a Love (lol) playlist. It’s basically all the love songs that remind me of couples I ship. So for example, The Acid is in there a lot because their music is great, but also Basic Instinct is so haunting. Overall, I like all music except country, so sometimes I’ll listen to my larger playlists while writing.

23. Long chapters or short chapters?

So this has changed over the years. Initially, I wrote short chapters, then when I got back into fanfiction while writing klaroline they got a lot longer and now it’s just basically where the chapter has a natural ending. So the chapters are between 4 - 10k words depending. I try to get over 4k though. Right now, once I’m done with my current fic, I really want to write something over 100k.

24. How many WIPs (work-in-progress) do you’ve got?

A lot...none in Shameless though. Well, I guess my current one, but I haven’t posted that yet. I’d say I probs have about 10 WIPs spanning different fandoms. I know. But my goal for 2021 is to pick two and finish them.

25. How many WIPs will you finish?

Not all of them. Some of them are from years and years ago. But I’d like to finish the ones that I still get reviews on. So there’s a SOAs fic I want to finish cause that fandom is so lovely. I also want to finish a klaroline one cause that was fun to write. And my Amy/Dan ones I’d like to finish. I would like to finish my Veronica Mars ones (I have two) but they need a lot more attention, so when people message me about them I tell them the planned ending.

28. I will name you three things (drunk Ian — shared bachelor party — Gallavich): write a paragraph or two!

“Fuck, Mickey, I probably shouldn’t have had the third Hot Toddy,” Ian grimaced as the world around him spun.

Mickey laughed at him and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. Ian wanted to think his future husband just wanted to pull him closer, but he had a feeling it was to steady him.

“Probably should’ve cut you off earlier,” Mickey said tugging Ian closer.

Ian wobbled and plopped down on the back steps of the porch. Mickey followed suit a moment letter and they both looked out toward the backyard where the Gallaghers, Balls, and a few of the Milkovich cousins were alternatively huddling around a fire, drinking, and dancing.

“I blame Lip for making us have this stupid shared bachelor party in the first place,” Ian grumbled.

Mickey kissed him on the forehead as Ian lay his head on his shoulder. “It’s Sandy’s fault too.”

Ian hmmed in response and Mickey knew he was going to fall asleep any moment. He ran his hand up and down Ian’s arm and watched as Debbie bounced over to them.

“Jesus, you aren’t even married yet and you two are like an old married couple. Are you going to come dance or what?” she whined.

Mickey looked down at Ian, whose eyes were already closed, and then back up to Debbie. She was watching them with knowing eyes.

“We’ll dance at the wedding. Go grab Lip, I need his help to get Sleeping Beauty upstairs.”

Debbie turned to go get her eldest brother and Mickey looked back down at Ian. In his sleep, he nuzzled Mickey’s shoulder, breathed deeply, and a gentle smile appeared there.

3 more days and they’d officially be husbands.

34. How did you find the magical world of fanfics?

I was about 10 and my cousin used to write a buffy the vampire slayer zine. There was a link to a site called buffyworld.com or something like that. And I found fanfic that way. There was a link on the site to ff.net and that’s how I stumbled across that. I stayed there for many many years until my second time in the veronica mars fandom around 2014 when I was lead to a03 and then I’ve been there ever since. On and off, my writing has fluctuated through the years based on my personal life.

49. Where do you draw inspiration from?

Everywhere! omg. It’s insane. Gallavich I love writing for. There’s so many different facets to them, but truly everywhere I find inspiration. I have a whole doc of gallavich ideas that have stemmed from other fanfics, headcanons from me and other people, rewatching episodes, what’s going to happen in s11, cute moments i’d like to see happen, holidays, and just general life. I saw a pic of WW2 vets who were in a long term relationship and i was like mickey and ian! another idea is born.

Bucky Barnes x Reader

The small studio stays right in the heart of Brooklyn, surrounded by themed bars, bright restaurants and a crowd of millennials that makes him cringe every once in a while.

It’s a shoebox.

A bed that fights for space with a small couch, a kitchen that can be sized by two of his steps alone and a cramped bathroom with a bathtub that he honestly can’t fit in. But be as it may, Bucky has never been in a more comfortable, warm and welcoming atmosphere.

A bed with polka-dotted, fluffy blankets, a couch with bright colored and quirky pillows, a kitchen with a line of gifted succulents by the counter and a bathroom with filled shelves of sweet smelling products.

Pictures on the walls, sketches and love notes hung to the fridge, shared clothes thrown over in little corners.

Everything is so lively and familiar—it feels like home outside of his home.

The four walls of your little studio have been witnesses to so much. Whispered love confessions, frantic murmurs of comfort, quiet pleads in between moans, anger filled little lies, and the list can only go on.

There’s a Friday night.

Discarded containers of take-out on the coffee table, and maybe a carton of Ben & Jerry’s forgotten around after a fight over the last spoon. Netflix midway through a random episode of Stranger Things because yeah, Bucky has a growing crush on Winona Ryder. Peace fills up every fiber of his being, and looking down to the sight before him, things can’t feel more right.

“Your heart is beating so fast.” You mumble quietly, chin leaning up to rest upon his chest. A flesh arm tightens around your frame, and a lazy grin grows on your lips. “Are you nervous being around me, Bucky?”

The lightness laced to your voice is familiar, a tone he’s heard many, many times within the warmth of a shared trustfulness.

A smile curls up his lips. Even then, the sound never fails to make Bucky content and happy.

“I’m always nervous around you, baby.” He jokes, a gentle kiss pressing to your temple that earns a happy hum from your chest. “You’re way out of my league.”

Bucky’s smile widens with a muffled whine of protest, and his vibranium hand reaches out to push a strand of hair away from your eyes when you shift on the way-too-small couch. With your face still buried to his chest, there’s no space left between both of you. The fluffy hem of your socks tickles his legs and the skin of his tummy rise up in shivers under your fingers.

Meanwhile, Erica Sinclair goes off about capitalism on TV.

Despite the length of your relationship, a small part of him still gets surprised over moments like this.

Soft fingertips reaching out to his marred left shoulder, a light touch to trace the harsh and old outlines of his scars, by now the only ugly looking, physical reminder of a time of his life that’s best left behind to be buried and forgotten.

With a little giggle escaping from your mouth, Bucky halts his thoughts to focus.

“You’re cute.” You wink playfully, biting your lower lip to hold back another laugh. His cheeks instantly flush a little under the fairy lights of your walls. “This little scar here looks like a stick figure.”

The touch feels nice as your index finger brush over a particular spot near his collarbone. Though he’s observed every single detail of the marks in several occasions, more than enough to make him very familiar with its designs, he immediately takes your hand with his own. Wrapped fingers together, you guide him through his little stick figure.

It’s a little joke, he knows, but Bucky still grins as you make him trace the funny lines of a quirky drawing to his own skin.

And when you tip his chin with your thumb a moment later? Warmth radiating from your body pressed up to his? And lips sweetly meeting his own?

That’s his peace.

There’s a Wednesday morning.

After arriving from a mission, sore muscles and half-healed scabs, Bucky just couldn’t see himself going back to the apartment he shares with Sam—especially after a two week long mission, taking in everything that his partner had to say. And trust, Sam Wilson has a lot of things to say.

To top of it all, he’s missed you.

Missed your laugh and your kisses and your touch. The way you tuck his hair behind his ears, the plush of your lips to the base of his neck. Your cuddles and your warmth and your care. Two long, painstaking slow weeks.

The place is warm as he steps in, slits of moonlight escaping through your blinds. Coming home to you feels right, takes off an edge from his heart, as if everything is right in the world again.

Only silence as Bucky slips under the blankets.

Bleary eyes barely taking him in.

And a happy but tired hum before a familiar frame cuddles to his side.

Sleep welcomes him right in.

Any person that lives in New York can easily list a series of upsides and downsides to coexisting in a studio apartment this small. An upsidde is that you can see and hear everything and the downside is that you can see and hear everything.

White numbers cover up your face on the screen of his phone as it marks 3:36AM. The shuffling and clashing in the kitchen isn’t unusual except for the late hour. Barely four hours of sleep later, and Bucky’s watching a pajama-clad you pour chocolate into a bowl through squinted, heavy eyes.

“Think I need to put you on a sleep schedule.” He murmurs. The sound is low but enough to make you jump on the spot, turn around with a scowl that makes him chuckle. “Come back to bed.”

The tense features of your face melt into a mix of worry and dejection.

“I can’t!” You cry, hands coming up to cover your face in frustration, words all muffled. “I promised I’d bake brownies for the book fair but I was so tired and I meant to take a nap while waiting for you but I just slept and now I woke you up!”

It takes two steps until Bucky has your frame into his arms, a perfect fit that rises butterflies in your stomach after the two, very long weeks. With vibranium fingertips brushing along your cheeks in a gentle caress, every negative feeling slips away.

“You were waiting for me?” Bucky pulls back a little, enough to see you pout through a nod. A loving smile grows easily to his mouth right before a gentle kiss to your lips. “I love you.”

Brownies are made in record time with two sets of wandering hands.

And are successfully sold out by two excellent sellers.

There’s a Monday afternoon.

Clouds are looming over the city. Cold, bitter winds singing loud enough outside. The first few signs of fall can be spotted by a quick walk in the neighborhood by now, trees turning into different shades of brown as pumpkin orange starts to pop everywhere.

Back to a few hours earlier, Bucky begrudgingly kisses you goodbye at the cramped doorstep, fixing your heart-shaped earmuffs with a wish of a good day at school. No paperwork or assignments under his name for a change, the place shelters him from any unexpected Avenger responsability, and he’s more than glad to wait home for you.

Separated dirty clothes, clean dishes back to the cupboards, made-up bed with fresh sheets, organized books and trinkets and papers for the small study table.

Homecoming isn’t as comforting.

Between quiet sniffles, red-rimmed teary eyes and angry huffs of frustration with the addition of a warm tea cup, Bucky cuddles you up to his lap until peace has settled again.

“You gonna tell me who I’m killing tonight?” He jokes half-heartedly, chest a little bit lighter as you giggle quietly, offering a slap to his arm. “Just say the word and I’ll do it.”

A single look from you and his heart swells with affection, the feelings hidden behind the simple act never failing to leave him speechless, wondering if there’s another shoe to drop.

There’s always another shoe to drop in his life.

“You don’t do that anymore, remember?” You say softly, a smart smile playing on your lips that’s followed by a tired, but now content sigh. “I’m okay, promise. Just a bad morning in school that wasn’t expected.”

Hands brought closer together and a kiss pressed to your knuckles by his lips.

Bad days take no excuse.

“Okay, doll.” Bucky frowns, eyes squinted in pretend suspicion as he smirks. “You really sure though? I can call Sam.”

“I’m sure, goober.” You roll your eyes through a laugh, instantly leaning closer until his lips are brushing to your own. “It’s all better now with you.”

Seventy years of a missed life, most of which he’s spent nearly under seven feet underground, locked up like an animal and abused for selfish power. Ruthless damage to every inch of his being, every sliver of hope taken from him without permission for decades. Now, eight years after a seeming never ending storm, Bucky finds reason in all of this.

It feels good to know that she’s with him too.

And if the day ends up to both of you curled up in the back booth of the diner down the street, ordering a late night breakfast with pancakes and eggs and bacon, then it’s a good day after all.

There’s a Thursday night.

The day has been slow in the apartment given your day-off from school. Silence and a few movies on Netflix are your companions, except for the visit of your friendly neighborhood stray cat, Alpine, who climbs up to your windowsill every day without fail. Bucky is usually the one who feeds him, and mostly the one who’s unofficially adopted the kitten.

A pause here for a quick, improvised meal between homework, another pause there for a bath under glittery bath bombs.

Being away from him is normal.

His missions can last to mere hours to unexpected months. Living within the job is basically the norm, all with recruits training, team meetings and securing duties. Your classes are demanding, both physically and mentally. It never ends and never leaves you, always something to be started or done back home.

Either way, anxiousness never leaves you in a week like this.

Nearing a certain date on the calendar, Bucky’s plagued by restless nights.

It feels like a sore spot in his body, one he knows all about it but still can’t help but be upset at, poking and prodding around as a way to remember it. Despite knowing his best-friend way too well, Steve’s choice wasn’t one taken lightly back then.

The reasoning is fair and understandable but it doesn’t lessen the bitterness of a brief meeting after a six year long disappearance.

Not much can be done by now, but two years after Steve’s official death, Bucky still plays what ifs in his head.

After gentle coaxing in between kisses in the night before and encouraging hugs and squeezes in the morning after, Bucky spends the whole day back at the compound, a scheduled therapy session set to the calendar of his phone.

When sunlight falls to a sheet of night stars, familiar but heavy steps sound like music to your ears.

A random song playing through your laptop and slow beats welcome Bucky home.

It takes a single look at you until he’s sighing relieved, hauling your frame up to his arms in the middle of the small kitchen, where you both barely fit in during busy mornings with shoulder bumps and mumbled but playful complaints.

Sure it has been a pretty nostalgic day but nothing beats being right there.

“You smell good.” Bucky says, an almost shy mumble against your hair, his arms gently tightening around you. “Peach?”

The easy but definitely familiar guess makes you smile instantly. Heat rises on your cheeks, your chin rests on his chest as your eyes look for his own, very blue, very alive compared to a few hours back. Golden detailed fingertips brush your cheeks and a content hum escapes from your lips instantly.

“That bathbomb you gave me, remember?” You smile, voice sounding small and equally as shy until Bucky tips down, his lips meeting your own in a featherlike kiss that makes you sigh. “How are you feeling?”

Bucky smiles, crinkles forming in the corners of his eyes and then, the smooth sway starts. Finding rhythm with the slow beats still playing background, you can’t help but feel your chest lighter. In that moment, neither of you need to share words to know, he doesn’t need to tell you about his session for the feelings to sink.

Despite any doubt and above any insecurity, being right there feels just right.

It’s not his day and age. For a long time, he was nothing but a misplaced piece of the universe. Then without his best-friend, just an unknown face for the team to swallow.

Not anymore.

There was a time of misplacement and sure, he no longer has Steve on a back-up call but life has given him good things. Good people. Sam and Wanda. Love. You. And in that moment, after a long day of reflection, Bucky just feels thankful above any odd feeling.

“Feelin’ great.” He muses. It’s genuine and it makes your smile widen upon his accent slip, only cut short by Bucky’s lips briefly meeting yours again. “Thank you.”

Background music switching to an upbeat song and the shared slow, careful sway doesn’t change.

“What for?” You frown, wide eyes flicking between confusion and amusement through a quiet, huffed laugh. A beat until you look up through your eyelashes, and a sheepish shrug. “I haven’t done anything.”

Bucky bites back the reply—you’ve done everything and more, you’re everything—words for another time, other plans, a day with a better start. After all, he’s not going anywhere.

This is his place now.

And in the end of the day, that’s all it matters.

There’s a Saturday afternoon.

An array of long dresses and skirts mix-up with button-ups and printed ties on the bed, make-up and skin products all over the cabinet. The sun slowly lies down to a soft hue of orange that paints the bedroom space, and the off-beat singing coming from the bathroom makes you smile every now and then.

A coat of lipstick to the lips, mascara to the eyelashes. A well-placed hair pin to the side of your hair. Out of the bathroom Bucky gets, black suit and tie in place, not a wrinkle on sight to the white button-up shirt. The singing turns to a faint humming.

Short hair, trimmed beard. His blue eyes are alight. Positively beaming.

It’s just a few hours to go until the big event starts—Mr. and Mrs. Wilson anniversary, which they’re celebrating with one big ceremony to renew their vows with their children present. Bucky, much to Sam’s feigned dismay and Darlene Wilson’s stubborness, is now considered one of them.

In the very few opportunities you got to meet Darlene, she was nothing short of sweet to you and incredibly motherly to your boyfriend. Not much is needed to see how happy Bucky is to be participating in their day, and you can’t help but beam right back at him.

“Looking so handsome!” You grin, watching through the mirror as Bucky sits on the bed, shiny black shoes set on the floor. His lips are holding back a smirk. “I mean it, Bucky! This hair? I’m marrying you.”

At the words, Bucky looks up.

Between the Blip, his missions, your classes and whatnot, neither of you ever discussed the possibilities of a long-term future.

Have you both thought about it, though? Absolutely.

“You’re gonna get me in trouble.” Bucky sighs. Quickly settling into his shoes, a crooked smile curves up his mouth as he stands up, gentle fingers around your satin clad waist. “You’re so beautiful. I’m a lucky bastard, aren’t I?”

It feels like your brain instantly turns to mush over his words, and your tongue stumbles to find proper words to reply his sudden sweet outburst. Heat spreads through your neck and cheeks as you lean back against his chest, feeling Bucky’s arms wrap you completely with such warmth like home is supposed to feel.

Watching your reflections through the mirror, you can’t help but think how comforting the situation is, even if it can look silly to anybody else. How comforting is to see you with him, the changes, the little quirks that remain the same after a straight up mess.

How funny is it that you want to turn your little comment into reality?

How funny is it that Bucky wants that moment of certainty to freeze?

“You’ve got to help me with something.” You break the silence, smiling shyly before reaching out to the small jewelry box sitting on your make-up cabinet. A silver necklace with a studded little star is pulled out. “Please?”

Smart fingers wrap the necklace around your neck with ease, the touch of vibranium rising shivers to your skin as Bucky closes it with a little kiss pressed between your shoulder blades.

There’s that little moment of silence again until a sigh escapes from his lips, a beat of hesitancy rushing through his body before he’s fishing for the black box in his pocket. A box he’s been carrying for way too long now, just waiting for its buyer to build up the damn courage because that’s all it takes.

I mean it, Bucky! I’m marrying you.

“I’ve got something else for you to wear tonight.” Bucky says. Heart pounding violently through his chest, so much he thinks you might hear it, but voice sounding as light as ever under your curious eyes. “I—I’ve had it for a long time now. And I know it might not be the perfect moment but you just said you’d marry me.”

Turning around to face him, your mouth immediately falls open. Chest to chest, your eyes searching for his. And ss Bucky lifts the little velvet box and flips it open so, so easily with his metal thumb, your choked, disbelieved laugh fills the room.

The ring is beautiful.

No fancy stones, just a simple, silver band formed to wrap around a finger with its two ends meeting together on the top.

Both of you kept meeting each other over and over through accords, battles and sudden disappearances.

It’s meaningful enough to make your heart beat faster.

“You can’t be serious. Are you?” You ask dumbly, a silly smile soon growing on your lips as Bucky gives a playful glare. “You are. Holy shit, Bucky!”

“You aren’t sayin’ yes, baby doll.” Bucky jokes, starting to feel jittery with nerves despite a small grin. Under the anxiety and accent slip, he’s just loving to see how positively astonished you look. “I’m sweating under this suit and it won’t be good for—”

Red lips crash upon his in a rush, your fingers fisting the lapels of his suit so hard that Bucky almost stumbles on his feet, making him pull your body flush against his own. He’s sure your fingers are wrinkling his jacket just as much as his metal ones are wrinkling the delicate fabric of your dress. And your make-up, thank God, you’re wearing the smudge-proof lipstick.

There’s no time to breathe between quick, several pecks and a gasped but definitely excited reply.

“I am saying yes!”

There’s another Satuday afternoon.

A pair of booted feet walks through the tight hallway of the shoebox apartment, laughter completely filling the place as a pair of heeled feet bumps the wall in a funny noise.

The white sandals are a perfect match for the white mini dress, its hem flowing over very familiar thighs, showing a little too much because the position—or general space really, isn’t the best. Turns out that despite your skepticism, Bucky can carry you in bridal style through the cramped space. Even though, you can easily spot a stain in the back of his blazer because of a knocked vase.

It doesn’t really matter.

As Bucky puts you down, your heels are kicked off and you immediately reach out to the memory board on the wall, pinning up a marriage certificate like it’s the simplest thing in the world.

When you turn around, Bucky is sitting by the edge of the bed just like one week ago, but now sans apprehension of an insecure man.

“We’re married!”

The gleeful tone of your words make him smile right away, pulling you closer with a gentle tug until you’re standing between his legs. Towering over him, your hands cup both of Bucky’s cheeks, thumbs brushing over the sharp, stubbly cheekbones. Your heart swells in your chest, happiness and love and calmness, because everything about the day really had been simple.

A city hall wedding with Sam, Wanda and Sam’s parents as witnesses, exactly a week after their own second wedding. Very simple and easy, as the decision of marrying each other had been.

“You’re officially a Barnes.” Bucky grins, hands brushing down the back of your thighs. Gentle fingertips under the hem of your dress, he silently urges you to sit on his lap. “Told ya, got me in trouble.”

“You say that as if you didn’t want to marry me.” You scoff playfully, wrapping your arms around his neck as settling down over him. “You can’t fool me. I totally noticed you were nervous back there.”

Not bothering to deny your words, Bucky shrugs. Even though he was nervous, it doesn’t really matter. Wrapped up in each other, surrounded by the quietness of the apartment, all he cares about is you.

A little kiss pressed to your neck.

“Well, you’d be nervous too if you were marryin’ the prettiest girl in the world.”

A laugh and a little kiss pressed to his nose.

“Well, I was nervous marrying the prettiest boy in the world.”

And then—Bucky’s lips are meeting yours in a soft kiss that swallows a sigh, hands steady and gentle around your waist as he dips down to the bed under your body. It feels like you’re both back at the ceremony again, high on your love and completely unaware of everything that isn’t each other. And he kisses you once, twice, three, four times.

Just enough to ground him, to remind him that this is what his life came to.

Don’t they say that after a storm, there’s always calm?

Yeah, well. This little shoebox apartment in the heart of Brooklyn.

BLACK BIRD by onion games for nintendo switch!! it’s basically “defender” but with that great onion games/lovedelic art style. it’s really great tho there seems to be some occasional slowdown on the switch.

i have played “virtual boy wario land”, “pac-man VS.”, and “rockstar games presents table tennis”, among others.

this is too long a list but: i’m currently playing BLACK BIRD, super mario 3D world, bowser’s fury, hitman 3 (which i “beat” but am nowhere near finished with), nioh 2 (only just started but rly liked), golf on mars, ACNH. (also unfinished: ghostrunner, RDR2, prodeus, “the dark pictures: man of medan”, sludge life, metro exodus, tony hawk pro skater 1+2 (finished 1 but not 2))

more BLACK BIRD! i think i might have been at the final boss. that might put me in the mood for some MILLION ONION HOTEL or maybe restarting DANDY DUNGEON(, both from onion games).

i just bought “The Ninja Warriors Once Again, or: The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors”, ODDWORLD: stranger’s wrath HD, and “Sky Racket” when they were on sale on the eshop recently. i also downloaded SINE MORA EX, might load that up whenever i’m done with BLACK BIRD. i might try to play more cyberpunk 2077 before tim rogers’s review hits (though i didn’t really like the game at all). i rly wanna play more nioh 2 as well. generally, prey (2017), sekiro, RE4, pathologic 2, and rain world.

tetris 99 is just not what i like abt tetris. dirt 5 feels like competitive plastic chewing. forced TAA, crashes, jerkweed voice fuckers spitting in your ear constantly, gross dutch angled race countdown, bogus music 😑 bogus! rockstar games also frustrate me (tho i like RDR2 & table tennis (& i probably like the manhunt games)); those awful menus do nothing but clunk. (having to hit “A” scroll the map in the map tab in GTA V? when the map is the only thing you can interact with on screen? 😑)

Done Falling Yet (2)

Part 1

Request: Could you please do one with Maria Hill x reader. Reader is an agent and constantly gets on Maria's nerves and teases her during training etc. Everyone thinks they hate each other until Maria gets hurt on a mission and ends up in a coma. Reader is super worried and risks herself to save Maria then refuses to leave her side. Turns out reader was being annoying because she didn't know how to act around Maria. Thank you! ☺

A/N: I’m seriously trying to write more alongside creating new graffiti art drawings and i’m creating so much content on a daily basis it’s amazing. Here’s the next part of Done Falling Yet though

Even though it happened faster than you could process, it felt like it was happening in slow motion. The last pillar right next to Maria gave out, causing a large block of concrete to fly out and hit her head, hard. She fell limp to the ground instantly.

“Shit,” You cursed, running over to her. The contact made her go unconscious, there was already a bump forming on her head where the block hit, she was also bleeding.

You picked her up bridal style and started to carry her towards the jet, oblivious to the team following you. You noticed them just before they shot, you ducked, protecting Maria’s body. While protecting her, you ran behind the ruins of the falling building.

Just before you got safe, one of the agents managed to have decent knife throwing skills and threw a knife directly between your ribs. You crumpled to the ground quickly.

“I need evac,” You whispered into your comms. “Now.”

“On it,” An agent said from the jet.

You applied pressure on the sides of the stab wound to try reducing the bleeding, knowing if you took it out you’d bleed out in seconds. The agents footsteps getting louder. You took the pistol off of Maria and prepared to shoot it as they got closer.

One of the agents came in your line of sight, you shot them instantly, the shock of the gun wearing down your shoulder and injuring your stab wound further. Agents rushed forwards from the jet and saw the situation, there were many other HYDRA agents rushing towards the two of you.

“Let’s go,” A shield agent said, picking you up but you refused to let go of Maria. “Ms. y/n, you’re injured, she’s dead.”

“She’s not dead,” You gasped, still holding onto her hand. “Just unconscious, we’re taking her with us.” You croaked, the wound starting to affect your consciousness.

You felt your head starting to get dizzy as your vision faded to black, the last thing you saw was maria being carried by another agent as the HYDRA agents surrounded the jet.

Beeping from a heart monitor was the first thing you heard when you woke up. The second thing you felt was a dull pain in your side. Everything from the mission started to come back to you, the knife throwing, the shooting, the shouting, Maria going unconscious.

“Shit,” You muttered, trying to sit up to find her, you saw a bed next to you and tried to prop yourself up to see who it was.

“Your first word being awake is shit?” Tony said, walking in the room with a cup of coffee in his hand, giving you a skeptical look.

“Where’s Mar- Agent Hill?” You asked, barely stopping yourself in time.

“Right next to you.” Tony stated, sipping his coffee in trousers and a t shirt.

You looked to the side to see Maria wearing the hospital robes, she was still unconscious. The heart monitor was hers. Looking down, you found yourself wearing the same, itchy hospital robes.

“What happened out there?” Steve asked, leaning against the doorway.

“We were ambushed,” You began, settling back to lie down. “A building fell, Hill got knocked out by a concrete block, I was trying to carry her back when HYDRA threw a pocketknife at me.”

“Y/n, you could’ve died trying to get her back.” Tony stated, leaning forward on his chair slightly.

“Yeah but I didn’t.” You defended, starting to fidget with your hands.

“You were damn close to, you flatlined twice.” Steve stated.

That explained a lot, it explained why everyone looked so tired and worried. It explained why you were in Dr. Cho’s lab instead of the compound.

“That doesn’t make sense, the knife wasn’t even that big.” You argued, Tony rolled his eyes before going back to his coffee.

“It wasn’t it was the physical exertion which slowed your healing too much, causing your heart to give out.” Steve stated, sitting down in the chair beside Tony, tears coming up in his eyes.

“Well look who’s awake.” Clint said, walking in the room with Natasha.

“Wow is everyone coming here for a party?” You joked, everyone smiled slightly at that. Even if you had almost died, you hadn’t lost your humor.

“Natasha forgot the cake and balloons.” Clint replied, grinning at you. You laughed slighlty, wincing at the pain in your ribs.

“No one make me laugh.” You whined, leaning back again.

It had been about a week after that, you’d gotten out of the hospital bed and everyone took you and Maria back to the compound. Maria still hadn’t woken up, doctors said she should wake up any minute now, the coma shouldn’t have been this long in the first place.

You brought back another cup of coffee into the room where Maria was, listening to the steady beeping of the heart monitor. Everyone knew you were blaming yourself for the situation Maria was in. They knew it wasn’t your fault, you’d been the one to almost die for her.

“God, I’m already dying of a stab wound why do you have to kill me with guilt now,” You complained to no one in particular, putting the steaming coffee mug on the side to take your head in your hands.

“Look I know we, I know we aren’t that close but,” You took in a deep breath and took one of her hands in yours. “But I’m really sorry for what happened, this entire thing is basically all my fault.” You sniffled slightly as tears welled up in your eyes.

“Well look at me being a pathetic idiot again.” You said, giving a weak chuckle as you leaned back, still holding Maria’s hand.

“Idiot yeah.” Maria whispered softly

O : So today, we're going to talk about Skam france, we're gonna do a debrief from s3, from s4 of the show too, and ask you some questions about this. Are you ready?

O : So the first question is a bit simple but how do you feel after s3 and 4 aired?

Max : Well proud that... That we had such an impact, and that the message that we tried to send was like, transmitted the right way and, and to so many people.

O : Do you think it changed the life of some people?

A : We often get messages on social media, where a lot of people are thanking us for this show, are telling us "thank you, Skam changed my life, thank you i finally saw myself represented on tv, thank you cause I finally understand", and that's, that's great, that's so good

Max : It was my first project, so what was the most impressive to me was to be in front of a camera cause I was just out of school, I was a baby I had never acted, and after that yeah, all of this infatuation that arrived all of a sudden. And when it's a first thing that you do, you've never been used to handle promotion even on a movie with less, you know, less... How can you call that? Of...

J : Buzz/turmoil ?

Max : Buzz/turmoil (that sounds stupid sjdkdkd I'm sorry the word is just not really translatable) ! That's the word I was looking for. Uh, well at this moment all of a sudden you're thrown in the lions' pit and you have to handle promo, you have to handle speeches that are a bit sensible, where you can get a bit destroyed by both sides in some ways, you know. And you find yourself in this and... So yeah that's, that's.... That's scary

J : And you're really careful about the aim of your words. You were really careful. Cause I interviewed him, maxence, and he was very very careful, from the start already you were... First of all very impressed cause it was, I think the second screening. Which was...

Max : Oh yeah! In the small leather seats?

J : Yeah

Max : Yeah

J : And, I noticed that you were really careful about the words you were choosing, you really cared for that

Max : Yeah, well because, because you know sometimes in a bit of a stupid way- and it's also the message we want to pass with skam, in our season for example, about homophobia and everything, sometimes you're just not careful, and you say something stupid, because it's like a thing you say without thinking since middle school or something, and, or sometimes you express yourself badly, and you can be bashed a lot actually. Cause that's also the "two sides' of that thing, of that buzz. Cause on one hand yes we get a lot of love and etc, but if you say one word out of the way, you can be destroyed really really fast, cause we're on, well, unfortunately sensitive topics. It can be sometimes difficult to... Well, I express myself freely cause that's really, well that's how I think and that's the way I am, I would've never done such a project otherwise, but everything can be distorted, very fast, not making the cut and... You can get beaten up real fast

Max : I'll admit I had a bit of a down at some point. And sometimes the border is a bit complicated cause then during the screenings it's us that have to handle people, except that they relate to the character that your interpreted, and since they're very close to our personality, because that's how skam is they're writing the characters depending on us too, the border is a bit hard to handle for them, and for me personally it was even a bit hard at some point for me, cause I was waking up on mornings and was like "fuck, wait"

O : Who is who

Max : Yeah, who feels what, and...

J : What am I feeling!

O : And on slash's side, how did we live it. I know that us, with clips airing and etc, we were really centered on skam. You Marine, you handle the instagram of slash, you got a lot of texts.

Mar : Yeah, cause every Monday we were airing a story, and we had each time either people telling us that we were a bit sadistic to make us relive the event that happened so they were even more down- either they were crying or we also got a lot of love- or they were really impatient to know more so they would ask when the clip was gonna come out, and it was... It was pretty impressive yeah.

O : And I think there were also people that were a bit like "yeah, you're taking time airing the clips"

Mar :Yeah, totally. Before Fridays we had a bit of pressure

J : Yeah we had pressure! Even on YouTube if we were publishing something else than skam, they were trolling us a little in the comments

O : Moonwalk comments are always like "where is skam?". I was so disappointed!

Mar : People asking us also to translate in Spanish, in English, every story cause they couldn't translate. And last week a very funny message, someone who wrote "I can see a show that looks great, but I don't know what that is", so there are still people not watching

Max : That's great

A : That's crazy

J :That's good!

O : Yeah totally, people are knowing it more and more. And you Judith, do you have a specific memory?

J : My specific memory is more about the fans, who were doing a lot of things, in between drawings..

J : tattoos, that's true there are poeple that got tattoos.

J : And I did, by the way hi Marianne - I did a small video for Marianne who made a song

Max :Oh you were the one to do it? So cool!

J : About season 3 and 4, well no season 3, the lucas and eliott season. And she wrote a very beautiful song and we made her a little acoustic session. And yeah, it's one of my biggest memories around skam cause, the idea was also for France tv slash to give back all of this infatuation with Skam's community, and it was a small gesture to show "that's cool, keep on going!". A very beautiful community. So big kisses to Marianne by the way.

O : The screenings by the way, I came to one of the screenings and it's true that it's quite crazy. Like people react to each clip like crazy... How do you react?

Max : Do you want to start?

Mar :And you're discovering yourselves almost.

Max : Yeah. No but that's it, we're discovering ourselves, we were discovering ourselves live on a theater. And when you're in the main roles, well Assa was a main and i was a pivotal role around Lucas, it's- you're on screen a lot so you see yourself a lot, and... Had you already seen yourself act before?

Max : Okay. I had never seen myself on screen. Oh yeah Bande de filles (Assa's previous movie) that's true. And yeah during the first screening clearly I finished the screening approximately like that [he's like crumpled in the bottom of his seat] on my cinema seat. Ah yeah, I was not good. I was not good at all. And finally you start playing the game little by little, you get used to it a bit, but you always have the little shot, we were talking about it five minutes ago, always the little adrenaline shot before arriving cause, cause yeah you're... Mar : Did you rewatch the clips at home, without an audience?

Max : Uh, not, I'll admit I'm not watching it a lot. Yeah. I watch the episodes when they come out and etc, I watched s4 normally, because I'm almost not in it, so it was perfect, but it's a bit weird to be home alone and to watch yourself on your computer... It's cool to watch it, i was watching it with friends, or, yeah.

A : Yeah I was always watching with friends too. But I was still watching the clips. Because I had to watch it was stressing me out

J : Why is it stressing you out?

A :Well actually, as for the screenings, I already saw myself to the cinema, but it's still always as hard to see yourself actually. And during screenings you see yourself in huge, while we usually watch on our phone or computer, and you see yourself on big screen and i see all of my flaws I tell myself "fuck why did you make that face, why did you do that" and it makes me crazy really. But yeah frankly screenings were really impressive. Especially the way fans were reacting, it was crazy, and it was giving us even more strength, it was giving me a lot of hope.

O : Who'll summarize s3 for me?

A : Ohlala, ohlala

Max :Summarize it?

O : Summarize it yeah. The story, the plot.

Max : wow

O : You were in it!

Max : Yes yes! Is that true? Oh yeah it was such a long time ago!

Mar : You have a pretty important role!

A : Your questions are hard! Summarize it just like that

Max : Summarize, uh... It's... To summarize it, it's the story of a young high-schooler who's called lucas, who's questioning his sexuality, and who's discovering himself and accepting himself as gay little by little, going through steps as friends, the girl he uses as a beard, then people at school, parents, etc. To finally try to live his love story correctly.

O : It's a good summary.

Max :Is it fine?

O : It was really cool

Max : My hands are all clammy!

O : Okay okay chill. So a question a bit simpler, do you have a moment that marked you in that season?

A : For season 3? Oh the party. Infiltration. Oh that was sooo cool to shot.

M : It was very very cool to shot. Infiltration, well I arrived in the end so I was under a blanket in the "combo" room. But yeah it was a great shooting day. All in costumes...

A : We shot it at night and each time it was so cool cause we would put the music full volume, and each time because there were moments where we had to cut the music for sound, and we had to keep on dancing, it's not easy, but it was so good, frankly we were such in a good mood, and we had the costumes, we loved the costumes we had and everything

Max : And there were a lot of extras, who were into it 3000%, as much as we were, and, very very cool to shot and you know as you say we're pretty young, our high school years are not so far, so being in character, to have a party a bit... I don't have the word can you help me?

J : Secret/clandestine

M : Secret/clandestine yes! In a school like that, it brings you back - well i never did this when i was in high school - but it's cool. It feels good.

A : it was so cool

Max : Not for me. Well yeah clearly the party, but since I was not on set a lot... For me the scene that marked me the most was the paint scene. The mural. Because it was the scene that asked us to let go the most. I'm really talking as an actor, not the scene that I preferred shooting or anything, but it's really... Well, when we finished shooting it, we looked at each other with Axel and were like "fuck, we're actually capable of doing that kind of thing, and we're capable of letting go of everything and to dedicate ourselves 300% to our director, first of all, and to our roles, and also to the audience. And-

Mar : How did you make the paint go after?

Max : we were under the shower for one hour, one hour and a half. And uh, yeah, it was everywhere. Ears, teeth. It was hell. Yeah

J : It's true that, it's not nothing, for a first... It was really the first time that you were acting in front of a camera, so it's not nothing

Max : Yeah. Yeah. And a sex scene too.

J : Yeah, yeah.

Max : So, it was...

J : A nice achievement

Max : A nice... Yeah. A nice... Yeah. No but I was happy, you see. I was happy, I'm telling myself, at least I will have lived a love story with a guy one day in my life, since... yeah, and, no it was very very cool... Uh, then I have thousands of beautiful memories, like, all of the... all of the boat scene, we arrived in this boat that they had decorated beforehand, we saw all of that, really we discovered it during the scene, and that was crazy... No but actually everything was great. No but that's true! Each time I'm telling you about something there's another one coming on my mind, now I'm thinking about the petite ceinture, we have hundreds of stories (tell them all you coward) about each day of filming, so...

O : And when you watch the show, isn't there a scene where you tell yourself "okay that's a strong scene that's gonna impact people"? A specific scene?

Max : For me there was the scene of the first kiss under the rain that killed me, yeah (been there done that). It's the first time where watching skam, well it comes quite fast, but, where I manged to watch without seeing myself. You see?

A : Oh yeah? That's hard!

Max : It's super hard.

A : It's super hard

Max : It's super hard, because you judge yourself quite a lot, as you were saying, you judge yourself a lot, you look, you tell yourself "fuck, why didn't I do this or that" and actually, actually we were so into the filming that at first I didn't notice- because the whole Eliott's film thing came after we filmed this scene, or maybe before I don't know but I had forgotten about it. And actually, when I rewatch the thing... At first, I didn't understand why David would make us hold our hands up like this (MAXENCE SKDKDKFKFSJDJDKD). Really, before kissing, I didn't understand. And all of a sudden, I watch and i realize while watching the episode. So that's the scene that gave me a big slap in the face, because I had completely missed it.

J : Yeah you didn't connected at all...

O : Connected with what? With the fact it matches your project?

Max : The fact that actually, Lucas and Eliott's first kiss-

O : I hadn't realize, I hadn't noticed at all (w o w)

Max : You see?

J : But yes! Actually, the movie project is exactly the same scene

Max : Yeah. It's exactly the same that happens, the tunnel, the hands up, they join, bam they end up-

O : You had all realized that?

Everyone around the table, me, y'all, Obama : Well yeah

O : Okay... That's dope! And you Assa, was there an impactful scene when you were watching season 3?

A : For me the scene that marked me the most is the paint scene! And I remember, when they were filming, with the girls we were in the dressing rooms, and we wanted to watch the scene so bad! But David said no way, no one watches the scene, and after when we discovered the scene we were like "oh yeah, oh yeah that was really hot!"

Max : Clearly. Not but it's beautiful, you see even us when we were looking at ourselves in the end we were all green, brown, black, you know like disgusting mixed painting, and on screen it comes off so well! Every color is here, and i was very afraid of it looking like sort of mud, green/black you know, a bit like when you're a kid and you mix up every paint color in your plate, and finally it comes off really really well yeah.

O : even the fans loved this scene, no? Marine?

Mar : Ah yes, yes, completely. We got lots of hearts.

Max : Yeah? Every color?

Mar : Every color obviously.

O : And I'll ask you too, the scenes that impacted you in s3?

J : My impactful scene from s3... It's when Lucas gets outed by Chloé, because I though that was super important to talk about it. By the way we're gonna take this opportunity to say, don't out people (listen to what the lady's saying kids). Uh, yeah.

O : What is outing people?

J : Outing, outing is- See i wrote it so I won't say stupid things. Outing is basically reveal someone's homosexuality, bisexuality or trans intensity, without asking- without their consent. So yeah you don't do that, it's violating someone's privacy, and there's also a path, it's up to people to decide the moment to come out, if they wanna do it or not by the way. Anyways, you don't out people. So I thought it was important to... For me this scene was super important, cause we often talk about coming out but we don't talk about that thing that is outing, which is something super violent, and so for me that scene was essential, and it realkuy marked me, and especially I found it very well acted by Axel (y e s)

Max : That's what I was going to say yeah, Axel Auriant is outstanding in this scene.

J : This scene killed me, really, I cried. And I saw it, i think it was at the screening

Max : Yeah, it was

J : Cause I saw it on big screen so... With eddy de pretto as the background music, and the punch in the door. By the way, maybe you're gonna confirm this but I think he really punched for real

A : Yeah apparently. Apparently he really hurted himself

Max : Yeah, he really... Well, it was makeup on his fingers but he really smashed his hand yeah. Yeah.

J : But really, well I cried... (been there done that part 2) And really for me this scene is the most impactful and especially it's very important. Here. So to say it again, don't out people please.

Max : Be careful

A : Oh yeah and I just thought about it, there's a scene that impacted me a lot too in s3, it's the moment where he's at church, and then there's the music... This one! And with the music adding up, that music is just perfect

O : I was listening to it on a loop!

J : It's good

A : I downloaded it right away. I really loved the song frankly, and after when he starts running and he's joining Eliott, this scene is crazy, frankly I loved it, so beautiful

O : What about you Marine do you have a scene?

Mar : There's a scene I loved a lot, it's the dialogue in between Lucas and Mika on the couch, I don't know if you see? Where basically Lucas starts saying there's something going on with Eliott, but that at the same time he doesn't want to say he's gay because he's not considering himself a stereotyped gay, and i think it's quite representative of what can happen at this age, what Lucas expresses is what society can think about gay people, and that's a sort of homophobia that he internalized, he wants to get out of it but he doesn't really know who is he is actually. And I found this strong, after that, the message that mika was passing saying it was out people who were helping the cause,and i found that strong. And I thought it was a nice political message but passed really smoothly, it was nice.

O : That's true that, I was wondering, while you're filming, do you tell yourself "there are people watching, maybe it's gonna change things"

Max : No

A : No, frankly not at all

Max : Well I don't know who's working what way, but, I know how Axel works at least, and we have pretty much the same way of working that is to say, we're our characters from 8am to 8pm if we're filming, if we're filming until 5am we're our characters until 5am, and actually we don't think about the message, and it's a bit- when you act a scene you have to think about yourself, and what your character lives at the moment, you should not think about the impact you could have cause it's getting you out of your role, it brings you back to you... To me Maxence, for example, or to Assa or... Except we're not ourselves on set. So you really shouldn't think about the result, basically. That's it.

J : Anyways that's more of David's job. He makes you act something, but because he has an idea in his directing about where he wants things to go.

Max :Yeah but you don't think about a message. Well. The message, you see it when you read your script, first reading, you tell yourself "oh that's cool, bam bam bam"

A : And especially when you discover. When I discover the episodes I tell myself "oh yeah I understand David better now! He wanted to do that" because on set, we act and we don't think about after, we don't think about how the scene is gonna be perceived by the audience, we're really in our characters and...

O : He doesn't brief you at all on this?

Max : No because it's not important

A : Yeah it's not useful. He just briefes us about how we have to act. How we have to feel things and how we have to act, it's really not...

Max : Because if we act bad, the messages won't be passed. If we fail our scenes, if we're not true in what we say during our scenes, the messages won't pass. Actually, the messages are a bit the result of all of the processus we put in place to create our character and-

A : Exactly

Max : Yeah. And that's what's magical in being an actor. It's that, you see, you're alone in your room working on your scripts, working on your stuff, on set you're focused you're not thinking about anything else, and all of a sudden it's out and you see the impact

A : Really, it's exactly that

Max :And it's really the most beautiful gift of our job

A : Yeah

Max : And we don't talk about season 4?

J : Yes we do!
