Hello~! If I may request a One-shot with Ran and Rindo and a younger sibling? Who's part of Toman and they end up seeing them at a fight and maybe try and drag there sibling away?
Tumblr media
A/n: Ofc you may request Haitani content! (I love them so much, for some weird reason.) The reader is about the Kawata's age (16 ish), given that Rindou and Ran are old men. This takes place during the Kantou incident. I may or may not have added a bit of angst, so I hope you enjoy!
You still remember the first words that came out of Mikey’s mouth when you told him you wanted to join Toman:
“I know that last name.”
Everybody knows that last name; it’s like a curse.
Haitani.
Y/n Haitani.
You never blamed anyone for being cautious; your older brothers were notorious for their gruesome nature and their hold on Roppongi.
But you’re not your brothers.
You could not be happier when Mikey set his worries aside and assigned you to Toman’s Fourth Division.
“Smiley’s a bit hard to handle,” Mikey told you, “But you’re strong and smart, and he has his brother to hold him back.”
Toman trul felt like a family. Sure, they had their moments, but for the most part, everyone was so kind. Even to somebody like you, they extended a hand and gave you a chance.
You stood tall next to Souya as Toman was beginning its fight with Tenjiku. All of you were scared; the 4th and 2nd division captains were gone, and so were the president and vice-president.
But nobody could be as scared as you were.
As Peh and Shion faced each other, you couldn’t help but scan the crowd of Tenjiku higher ups.
Then, you saw them.
Ran and Rindou Haitani.
You waited until Shion fell for you go make your move, running with Souya to knock out the lower-level Tenjiku fodder. You thought that if you snuck-
“Well, well, well,” You knew that voice, “If it isn’t the fourth division.”
The moment you turned around to face your older brothers, you could see the shock in their faces.
“Y/n?” Rindou asked, his voices lace with concern.
“What the fuck are you doing with Toman?” Ran screamed.
You gritted your teeth, “You would know if you actually talked to me every once in a while!”
“Listen to me,” Rindou lowered his voice, “You need to get the hell outta here before you get killed. This fight is gonna be nasty.”
“You know what Mikey will-”
“I don’t give a shit about Mikey!” Ran interrupted, “Get your ass outta here before you go out in a hearse, understand? This isn’t some kid fight like Valhalla or Mobius! Get that pompom looking-ass to cover you or something!”
“They’re right. I can cover-”
“No, Souya,” you put your arm out, “I’m standing my ground.”
Rindou put his arms on your shoulder, “You think we’re joking? We’ve killed people fighting; we’ve all killed people, alright?”
“They won’t target someonw who’s related to a higher-up.”
“They’re ruthless,” Ran came behind RIndou, “They won’t care that you’re a Haitani; if anything, they’ll make it more brutal. Come on, stop being stuborn and get the fuck outta here! We love you, and we don’t want to go to your funural in a few days!”
You looked to SOuya and waited for him to nod.
“I love you both too,” You gave each of your brothers a hug before you set off for Roppongi.
As soon as you entered the house and turned the TV on, all you could hear about was the conflict.
Three dead:
Izana Kurokawa.
Emma Sano.
Kisaki Tetta.
Five Arrested:
Shion Madrime.
Yasuhiro Mucho.
Mochizuki Kanji.
Ran Haitani.
Rindou Haitani.
Those last two names burned into your brain as you tried to process the news. Your older brothers, the people you look up to the most, the people who you saw less than two hours ago, wouldn’t be coming home.
“No, no, no!” You screamed, throwing the TV remote at the wall, “They’re fine. They’ll come home, we’ll eat dinner, and we’ll go to sleep after watching a movie! They’ll come home!”
But even your brain couldn’t deny the fact of the matter:
Your brothers won’t be coming home.

Mobius stretched in the large, empty bed, noticing there was neither a Loki nor a Sylvie next to him.
Sylvie made sense, but he could’ve sworn he fell asleep with his arms wrapped around Loki’s torso, pressing himself into his fiancé's backside.
He got up to find two sleepy babies in their crib.
Mobius smiled. He had wondered when Loki would crack and be little again. Two weeks. Not a record, but it had been a stressful two weeks, and that was impressive for Loki.
The poor boy had tried so, so hard to be an adult: To plan the party, and go to work, and beat the monster, and take care of Sylvie. In the past few days, cracks began to form as he was flooded with frightening situations and tried not to fall into old, unhealthy coping mechanisms, but he was determined to stay big. Mobius was slightly shocked he had even chosen to be little and hadn’t just slipped.
Mobius smiled down at them. Both asleep; Loki was in a onesie and diaper, while Sylvie was just as he had left her in footie pajamas.
She winked an eye open, and successfully sat up on her own when she felt Mobius’ eyes on her.
“Morning little princess,” Mobius cooed at her, with a big proud smile.
Sylvie babbled as she was set on the changing table, a little “papapababababab” kind of babble. As she chewed on her pacifier.
“Loki,” Mobius addressed him as he heard the second little stir.
Loki looked up and smiled at him with big teeth, letting his pacifier fall by the wayside as he leaned against the rails of the crib, awoken by the disappearance of Sylvie from his side.
“Do you need a change, too?” Mobius asked.
Loki nodded and considered climbing over the bars himself, but Mobius came and picked him up.
“It’s lucky I’m dealing with two little babies this morning,” Mobius chatted as he changed him.
Both Loki and Sylvie couldn’t possibly understand why this was nicer for him. Did he like that they were so dependent and needy? To each his own, they guessed.
But Mobius answered their confused looks pretty quickly, “Madame Baci recommended me this place yesterday”- he patted his pockets looking for the business card he had been given, forgetting he was in his pajamas- “well, anyways, she said it would be good exercise for baby Sylvie, and Loki might enjoy it while in his headspace, too.”
Loki and Sylvie both quite liked their ballet teacher, she was funny and kind, and recognizing the two had talent, she often took them aside after classes to teach them special techniques.
In fact, they were the only two in the class who were doing anything more complicated than tendus and degajes. Well, Loki was the only one right now. After getting injured, Sylvie had only been able to watch from the sidelines, but it hadn’t been long, and with only having classes on Thursday evenings, she hadn’t missed much.
Loki clapped and cooed enthusiastically while lying on the table.
“We’ll go, we’ll go,” Mobius assured them both as Sylvie gave him her approval as well, with big smiles.
“But there is one thing,” he remembered.
The two fell immediately silent as they waited.
“It’s one caregiver per little, so we need to take Thor with us, and I don’t know if he’ll be up to it yet.”
“Tor! Tor!” Loki clapped.
When Mobius set him down, the little ran to the door and jiggled the knob, eager to go get his big brother.
“I know, that’s going to be fun isn’t it? But before we go get him, let’s get dressed first.”
Loki selected his own outfit of a comfy pink onesie, with green, ruffle bottom pants, and a darker green knit sweater with an alligator on it.
Mobius picked out a light pastel green, long pant romper for Sylvie with a little tutu skirt.
She bit her cheek and frowned at it, but eventually warmed up, as it was very easy to move around in.
Mobius scrunched a flowered headband over Sylvie’s forehead. “My two baby girls,” he chuckled to the both of them.
Sylvie grabbed at the fake daisies on her forehead as Mobius slipped socks onto her feet and tried to do the same with Loki, but he was independent, so he did it himself, pouting and crying when they weren’t on right and Mobius had to fix them.
Sylvie even ate this morning, no need for a bottle for the first time since she got hurt; Mobius was able to feed her some zucchini baby food, cooing at her as he spooned the mixture into her mouth.
She took the food excitedly as she had pretty much been on a liquid diet, refusing anything but little formula or milk like Loki so often did. Puree wasn’t far from liquid, but it was still something different, something new at least.
Her eagerness was definitely more emotional than physical as she still leaned back in her highchair, needing the padding to support her sensitive midsection. However, she tapped on the tray, while burbling and making little noises, smiling at Mobius as he tried not to spill the plastic spoonfuls of smoothie onto her chin or cheeks.
Mobius scooped out the last of the puree and let the littles finish their, admittedly not very filling, breakfast.
After setting them in the playpen, he started up the kettle for some bottles before coming over to sit by them.
Noticing Loki fidgeting and having trouble letting go of his motor skills, Mobius asked if mittens were a good idea, which the tot accepted quickly.
Sylvie hesitated until she saw Mobius strap them over Loki’s hands, and how he giggled about it, pawing at his face and hair and Mobius’ mustache.
After the thick mittens were attached to him, Loki realized that maybe he needed a little bit of extra effort to be fully little today, still having a tough time fully relinquishing his adult thoughts, stuck in that in-between he had been last night. So, as an experiment, he tried to stand up to grab a toy from the other side of the pen, but found his legs wobbly and balance hard to keep. Despite doing it to himself, he squealed with surprise and giggled as Mobius stopped him from falling. He figured that crawling, like Sylvie, was going to be easier than trying to relearn how to take his first steps at the moment.
To keep the babies distracted while he went to grab Thor, Mobius turned on some sensory videos with puppets, toys, and music box music.
The big, burly, god was already showered and dressed, as he had done some fire-wood chopping and combat training in the nearby woods. He obviously agreed to come with his little siblings.
They found the two littles absolutely entranced in their playpen. Sylvie laid on her belly in a messy diaper that she hadn’t seemed to notice or at least didn’t care about yet, while Loki laid on his back, looking up awkwardly at the tv while drooling over a teether.
“I love when they’re this tiny,” Thor commented, before squatting down to rub Loki’s belly.
“It’s a fun age isn’t it?” Mobius replied genuinely, as he picked Sylvie up.
She screamed and cried as she was suddenly allerted to both the mess and the fact she was being taken away from the beloved green dragon puppet that played on the screen with a sunflower.
The little shrieked at the top of her lungs and kicked, making it all worse as Mobius got her all cleaned up and changed.
Mobius tried his best to distract Sylvie like always, asking about what the dragon did onscreen, but her only answer was a thumb planted in her mouth and silent tears rolling off her cheeks.
The babies cheered up once they got in the car, sucking on pacifiers and grabbing at all the noisy toys that pressed against the car’s ceiling or the ones that latched on the trays of their carseats.
The plastic animals rattled and could spin, some had plastic beads that shook with the rhythmic motion of the car, and others had little mirrors that Loki and Sylvie made faces in.
Sylvie even had her triceratops strapped in next to her, which she batted at and teethed on.
They arrived at the community center with just moments to spare.
Mobius assumed it would be difficult for the babies to choose who would go to daddy and who would go to Thor, but it seemed to come easy for them, especially as Thor picked up Loki, cradling him like a newborn, and the little, in usual Loki style, pulled at Thor’s beard and tried to chew at the beads threaded into it.
Sylvie cooed at Mobius as he picked her up, continuing to teethe on anything she could get her mouth on; his shirt collar, her own thumb, which she bit and decided it was too painful with a face of shock and horror, that Mobius recreated when she shared her discovery with him.
For the littles, the first part of the class felt a lot like daycare, but maybe it was better, as they got to sit in the laps of their caregivers while they helped them clap along to the songs and stories, and helped the babies work on some babbling, trying to help them mimic the phonetic alphabet.
“Mamamama,” Sylvie pointed to Mobius when the instructors addressed carers as “mommies” (mostly because Thor and Mobius were the only male caregivers in the morning class).
Mobius nuzzled her, “I’m not mommy, can you try again? How about we try with a ‘d’ sound? Can you say ‘dada’?”
Sylvie giggled and refused, bringing her fingers up to her mouth.
During one boring stretch where littles were expected to stay in laps and listen to a song, Sylvie rocked back and forth with Mobius swaying her, while Loki looked back at Thor, deciding to crane his head back as far as it could go with his little mouth open.
Thor put his big hand over Loki’s mouth gently and brought it back up, repeating the motion, Loki caught on and, with a smile, made a little “aa” noise which turned more to a “awawawawa” as Thor played with him, causing Loki to break into a fit of silly giggles.
Sylvie pointed at them, and tried to mimic the duo with Mobius but didn’t really understand how, just making the little “awawa” in her own babble.
Once the boring stuff was over, it was all play for the tots, not with the normal noise-making, light-up baby toys daycare offered, but with soft vinyl shapes and mats for littles to crawl over and on and through.
As Loki and Thor essentially played games of soft wrestling and crawling chase, gently roughhousing like they did when Loki was actually six months old.
Mobius tried to help Sylvie work on a tangible goal, not just play. She was still needing to put a lot of effort into crawling, being slow and deliberate with her movements, but Mobius was trying to help her get more fluent with it, and if he was lucky, maybe he’d even get her to take a couple of steps with support. Well, at least she was sitting up on her own now.
Mobius encouraged her through the soft but slightly difficult terrain.
Sylvie, of course, found it all very fun, even when she bumped into Loki in one of the tunnels.
For Sylvie, the class was like the physical therapy she had been doing for the past few days, just with more new props, but for Loki, it was just like an expanded version of the baby play area he had seen at the indoor playground.
“Tor!” Loki called, despite his brother being right next to him. “What that?”
Thor looked to where his baby brother was pointing. “Uh… I don’t know,” he studied the inflatable rubber thing Loki was pointing at. “I think it’s a horse?”
Loki crawled closer to the yellow and red spotted toy, and poked at it. Despite being from a whole other planet himself, and dealing with many odd creatures, this plastic one unsettled him, with its strangely bulbous figure.
“It’s a bouncy toy,” Mobius explained, startling both Thor and Loki who didn’t realize he was listening. He patted the painted-on saddle, encouraging Loki to straddle it.
Sylvie wasn’t far away. As Mobius talked, she laid on the soft mats and tried to grab at her toes. Mobius helped her with the stretch.
Loki got on the strange toy while giving both Thor and Mobius a skeptical but decidedly babyish look, setting his pacifier in his mouth.
Because he was so tall, his legs were awkwardly bent while sitting on it.
“Go ahead, try a little bounce!” Mobius encouraged him.
Loki bounced slightly at first, looking down at the horse-ish thing. When he silently questioned if he was doing this right, Thor gave him a thumbs up and a grin, and Mobius glanced at him while sitting with Sylvie, who was beginning to crawl towards Loki to investigate the toy herself.
Taking in the approval, Loki bounced more, “horsey horsey horsey!” he giggled.
Thor grinned at him. Such a simple joy.
“Is it like the kitty you got to ride?” Mobius asked.
Loki lit up even more, remembering his trip to the park in San Francisco and hopped slightly, picking the horse-like thing up.
Mobius peeled his attention away to make sure Sylvie didn’t try to push Loki down, unsure if she even could. He distracted her with the promise of getting to play on a swing set up in the corner, coaxing her up and showing her how it worked. But before he had the chance to set her in, something new was introduced, and everyone was required to come sit in the circle, again. But luckily, it was an activity Loki and Sylvie found that they absolutely adored and the excitement of the swing or the horsey thing was forgotten:
A large circle of nylon fabric was laid out, with big rainbow colors and all the littles, or their caregivers, were expected to take the handles and follow the directions given by the instructors. They rotated the fabric to make an entrancing sensory experience, especially for Sylvie who simply stared, while Loki cooed up at Thor as he helped the fabric move along in his fingertips, listening to the simple nursery rhyme and educational toddler songs that were piped in from a small boombox next to one of the instructors.
Then, the music paused and everyone was told to stop moving it.
Sylvie made cute baby noises when the group was instructed to move the circle up and down, fanning the floor. The way that the fabric ballooned caught her eyes.
Loki made similar noises of fascination and merriment as he held the fabric, aggressively flicking it up and down to make ruffles in a babyish non-rhythm.
As the littles were instructed to hold it up above their heads, Loki got a peek at the colored shadows that filtered through as the lights in the ceiling flowed through the fabric, staring with wonder as the parachute was slowly lowered and tossed up again.
He tried to slide himself under the nylon wheel to get a better view, but Thor pulled him back, trying to keep the curious little in his lap.
Loki looked back at him with a furrowed brow, letting go of one of the handles to place his thumb in his mouth.
“We can play with blankets anytime at home,” Thor told him. “I promise, little brother, next time you’re small, we’ll play with the blankets.”
As soon as he was done talking, the parachute was taken away, stuffed back into a bag as caretakers were instructed to help their littles down onto the floor.
Sylvie squeaked as she was set down on a plush mat making Thor and Loki look over at her. She didn’t seem to be hurt, just surprised as she broke out giggling and babbling when Mobius began to pet her belly, resting her legs on his criss-crossed knees.
Thor tried to follow the instructions of making the littles feel secure and comfortable, babying them like they were used to, to prepare them for playing outside of that comfort zone with walking and such, but Loki did not make this easy: he kept trying to grab at his older brother’s hands and pull them up into his hair hoping to be messaged and pet on the head, causing Thor to lean over awkwardly in order to appease the little.
Just like always, Loki found this incredibly amusing and cooed up at Thor as the older brother tried to work his way downward, tickling Loki’s belly and sides, making him giggle and wiggle, before petting the pads of his feet. He knew it was something that Loki loved, ever since he was a child. It could make a happy Loki grin harder and coo at him, or immediately still a fussy Loki.
It was an odd technique, one Mobius was obviously well aware of, but it never seemed to work the same for him on Loki, it made the little feel silly and slightly ridiculous, sometimes causing him to break out of his headspace instead of having that desired soothing effect.
There was just something so specific to Thor’s low, husky voice which seemed to ground Loki. The little grinned up at his older brother with icy, wonderful eyes; pupils large, and nearly filled with stars, but not distant or spaced out.
But as soon as he was beginning to relax into it, imagining the vinyl gym mat as a comfy mattress, he found himself being sat up with Thor pulling on his arms.
Mobius was whispering very quietly to Sylvie during this, his words were full of of reassurance and hope. “So we’re going to go to standing now,” he said, echoing one of the instructors.
Sylvie began to whine, her sensitive legs hadn’t made that easy.
“It’s alright,” Mobius told her as he slowly got up to stand and tried to take her with him. “Shh, shh, we’re going to go real slow. Real slow, now. There, nice and gentle,” he commentated while helping her up, acting as if it were only them and nothing else mattered.
She nervously wrapped her arms around his shoulders and stood up on wobbly legs, trying her best not to yelp as she sucked in a sharp inhale at the pain.
“I know, I know, we’re going to be real gentle, alright?”
Most of Sylvie’s weight was being supported by Mobius, but she still whined at the pressure that remained on her legs.
“It’s gonna be fine. We need to work on this, right?”
Sylvie let out a jumbled whine.
Mobius pet her back as reassurance while she buried her head in his chest. Gradually, he helped Sylvie put more and more weight on her legs, setting her down ever so gently to let her regain her balance and strength.
She whined and fussed the whole time, but Mobius did what he could to calm her and tell her that it was alright and she was doing so well and he was so proud of her, even if she did need to lean almost all her weight into his arms and cry over it, throwing a quiet little fit as a last resort.
Loki however, was having a great time. He was standing up and wiggling back and forth, sticking his bum out to lean into Thor’s chest until his big brother picked him up and lifted him over his head making Loki roar with excitement and yelp with laughter as Thor told him that he was suck a big strong boy who would grow up to slay so many big scary dragons.
Together, the brothers tried to keep up with the instructions that they were given, but little Loki was just too silly, and Thor couldn’t help but try to entertain his whims. The little wanted to feel weightless as he bounced up and down on his tip-toes with a little bit of help from Thor’s strong arms, and spun around until he fell onto his bum on the soft mat.
The time to leave came quickly after that as littles were given the opportunity to sing “the goodbye song” and hug the new friends or returning ones if they wanted (which was really more of an opportunity for caregivers to let their little ones run wild for a few more minutes, no matter what the lesson leaders said).
“So.” Mobius picked Sylvie up. “What’d ya think?”
Sylvie gave a burble as she touched his ear and set her other hand into her mouth.
“Anything else?”
She smiled down at him and touched his mustache before resting her head on his shoulder with a little huff.
“Is it naptime for babygirl? How about for Loki?”
Loki was busy being carried like a princess and making a game for Thor by wriggling and kicking and giggling as his brother tried his best not to drop him, even as he rolled over and tried to be carried on his belly. He let out a loud squeal as Thor pulled down the waistband of his pants and checked on his diaper by sticking his finger in the leg hole.
In spite of all the little’s silly fake struggle, Thor didn’t even fumble him while wiping his hand on his jeans. “You are such a soggy little stinker, are you aware of that?” Thor chuckled as he planted a kiss on Loki’s hairline.
“Uh-oh, a stinker?” Mobius asked, dead serious.
“No- nono,” Thor quickly corrected. “He’s just always a stinky boy… in spirit.” Thor trailed off trying to think of exactly why he called Loki that, in an affectionate way, of course.
Loki scowled.
“See? See, look; stinky face.”
Thor’s determination to prove to Mobius that Loki deserved the nickname made both littles grin.
“No stinky!” Loki refuted, grabbing at his toes.
Thor actually had a hard time carrying him like that and nearly dropped the tot out of his arms. “No? Really? I could’ve sworn mother used to need to supervise bath time to make sure you washed your hair.”
“Nope! Tor sunshine!”
“That is true. You are my lovely little sunshine.” Thor’s voice was a warm, loving, tone hardly above a whisper. It could almost have been described as a growl.
Loki made an “eek!” as his older brother’s chest rumbled and he nearly roared with laughter as the feeling tickled him.
Mobius opened the car doors and set Sylvie into her seat. She had nearly been napping in his arms, pacifier firmly planted in her mouth, but she began to throw a fit the second he set her down. Not the quiet, pouty fits she usually preferred, but the screaming, crying ones that had become common over the past few weeks.
“The car isn’t scary, we like the car. You helped me pick it out, remember?” Mobius tried to reassure her. “We rode here in the car, it’s okay. What else is there? Is the bad thing a soggy diaper?” he asked, taking her out of the carseat and leaning against the side of his tan little car, checking her by unbuttoning a couple snaps of her romper. “Well, you’re not exactly dry,” he sighed. “I know, I know, you’re not happy: probably ready for meds, a bottle, a new diaper, and a nap, right?”
Sylvie continued to yell and scream and ball up her fists into his shirt, even as he pet her hair and tucked her into the crook of his neck.
“You’ve been such a big girl today, made so much progress, you know that?” Mobius knew his words wouldn’t help, but he said them anyway.
Thor talked with the opposite door open to his little brother who was absolutely so taken by making faces at himself in the baby mirror… again, which Thor eventually got in on, making Loki laugh and kick the empty seat in front of him. “My little sunshine,” he wistfully repeated as Loki gurgled and patiently ignored his fussy sister.
She was eventually calmed enough to be set into the carseat and buckled up, even as she sobbed and spat and shot little green pieces of energy out from her hands.
The whole car ride home, Loki did his best to mimic his daddy in the front with the tiny car dashboard toy. Occasionally, he handed one of the toys nearby to Thor or Sylvie, hoping to make them happy. Thor would smile and thank him while Sylvie would flat out ignore him in order to keep having her tantrum, sans the screaming.
Upon getting home, the littles were given diaper changes, and after fussing from both of them, were allowed to change out of their clothes.
Sylvie found herself swaddled in blankets, nursing on a warm bottle of milk and began to have a proper nap while Thor held her and quietly whispered a conversation to Mobius, who was holding Loki in a yellow blanket instead of Sylvie’s pastel pink one.
Perhaps they were frost giants, but the littles were a happy sort of warm. A sleepy kind of warm after the long, high-energy, two hours of play.
Loki cooed, reaching up from his blankets, but Mobius pushed his little hands right back down into the sea of fluff and pulled him up a little bit into a comfortable hug.
Mobius rocked the chair a little bit harder and the blankets fell, just slightly, down to reveal Loki’s bare shoulders. Sylvie was in the same boat; just a diaper and the warm, lovely blanket around her. No more uncomfortable cotton rubbing or itchy fabrics, just the cozy body warmth of a caregiver and the lovely minky blanket, which complimented Thor and Mobius’ humming voices. Loki and Sylvie didn’t particularly know if they were singing or chatting, and didn’t care what it was about, all that mattered was the soft rumbling and thumping noises that their chests made.
Loki soon began to snore, dropping the pacifier from his mouth and leaving a long string of slobber on Mobius’ shoulder as the adult pulled up the blanket over his shoulders once more and gave him a kiss on the shoulder, as high as his head naturally reached from that angle, before getting up and setting the baby in the crib right behind Thor and Sylvie. And Thor eventually set Sylvie right down next to him.
“You know,” Mobius said as Thor joined him in the kitchen, after setting up the rails and flicking the lights back off. “I have a feeling that we may have just made them go even smaller; We spent that whole morning on classes to help them grow up, and I think we started with two near toddlers and now we’re back with two newborns.” He chuckled as he said it, sipping on a cup of coffee, as it was meant to be a thoughtful and loving sort of observation.
Thor smiled back at him. “I think that’ll be just fine.”

the gods among us
andrew!peter x loki-variant!reader | fluff
summary: you're a loki variant who's sucked into the multiverse mess. you meet the famous Peter Parker, as well as two more Peter Parkers, one more annoying than the other. | FEM!READER NO WAY HOME SPOILERS! : Labcoat Peter is andrew!Peter btw.
Tumblr media
Waking up in a pile of sand described your entire life in less than ten words.
One second, you were arguing with Mobius and now here you are, surrounded by trashcans and dirt. Luckily, you still had your knives, which were your only source of comfort. Last week, Sylvie had given you a wide range of choices of weapons to choose from, but you stuck to your daggers. You didn't have the time or patience to figure out machine guns and crossbows.
Besides, the only secret one needs to know about knives was something you had already memorized years ago — the sharper the edge, the cleaner the cut.
You stood up, groaning from the mild pain which was now climbing up your spine. Before you could figure out your next step, a familiar voice spoke from behind.
"Y/N?"
You let out a sigh of relief.
In foreign lands, who wouldn't be happy to see someone friendly? Peter Parker got under your skin most of the time, but he's one of the only few Avengers you didn't hate. You also immediately connected the dots — if there's Peter, you were on Midgard, a place you have been to a lot of times because of Loki.
"What's going on? Didn't you like, die last year?"
"No, that was Loki," you corrected, loosening the grip on your knife.
"No, I'm pretty you both died."
"Gods never really die," you said mysteriously, not wanting to explain how Loki stole the Tesseract and weaseled his way out of this mess. Your words had the intended effect on him, whose mouth fell open like a baby who's been shown card tricks for the first time.
"But how am I here?" you wondered, shivering against the cold. "I was literally winning the argument against Mobius and now I'm in this dump of a planet, no offense."
"None taken. Er, listen I might know something about that."
You groaned. "What did you do now? Are we in another world catastrophe?"
"It's more of an intergalactic problem," he said, pointing to the door behind him, something you haven't noticed before.
Turns out, you were currently standing in the dumpster behind some sort of unused laboratory. Or that's what you assumed by the hazard pictogram on the metal anyway.
Hesitating, you followed the boy inside. He muttered under his breath about something or the other, but you were too distracted to make out the words.
"There are some new faces by the way," he said, sounding exhausted.
Finally stepping into the light, you saw that it indeed was a laboratory, but it definitely wasn't empty. Ned and MJ were people you instantly recognized, but there were two more men — one in a labcoat and another in casual attire.
"Y/N!" MJ smiled, which made you soften inside. It wasn't everyday that someone was happy to see you. "Peter, c'mon did the multiverse thing bring her here too?"
"I think so?" he said, scratching the back of his head. "Uh, meet Y/N everyone."
The one you assumed to be the oldest just gave you a sympathetic smile, as if he could see how confused and worried you were inside. Nice guy, you decided.
The Labcoat looked up from whatever solution he was brewing, web-shooters pointing straight at you already. Not so nice.
"She's friendly, we know her," Peter said quickly, the one who was still standing next to you. You remained unaffected by Labcoat's hostility and decided to clear some things up.
"Wait, wait they're your variants?" you were excited. It wasn't every day you met others of your kind.
"Kind of?"
His hesitation made you raise an eyebrow. "And I'm here because someone tampered with the multiverse?"
"Possibly," he nodded grimly.
"That someone being you?"
"It wasn't his fault!" Labcoat Peter said sharply, though he did lower his hands.
"Charmed to meet you too," you said, tilting your head to one side. "What are you people trying to do anyway?"
"There are monsters we need to cure—" the youngest Peter's voice was cut off by Labcoat.
"Don't tell her the plan, she looks suspicious." He almost sounded like a protective brother, which you found interesting.
You did a quick scan of his face. Kind eyes, but tired ones. He's been pushing himself for the last many years, you could see that. Why he had marked you as untrustworthy was yet to be known, but it wasn't the most unusual thing to happen that day.
"I'm literally the nicest person ever," you shrugged, sitting down on an empty chair.
"Is that why you have a knife?"
"Three knives," you corrected. "Plus one switchblade."
"Okay, we're not fighting when we have things to do," the oldest Peter said, gesturing to all the different books before him. "And you look cold, do you want a blanket or something? I can look around—"
"I'm fine," you interrupted. "I'd rather have a ticket out of this place and you mortals clearly need my help."
You were about to take a bottle of acetone, but webs knocked it out of your hands. Unsurprised, you glared at Labcoat. It was clear that you wouldn't get anything done if he's still being like this.
"I don't care who you think you are," you said angrily, standing up. "But you should think twice before getting on the bad side of a witch and a god."
"You're a god?" Just for a second, he looked genuinely surprised. It definitely caught him off guard. You smiled.
"God is just a title, witch is what you should watch out for," you said, snapping your fingers.
The bottle instantly flew out of his reach and came back to your waiting fingers. That little show did render him speechless, making you oddly proud inside.
"Right so, uh, now that's done, here's our plan," the youngest Peter said, spreading a chart over the table.
------
Their idea was well thought out, which also mean it was very boring.
You almost drifted off to sleep while Peter was lecturing on how to make the cures. Being a Loki and convincing others that you wanted to be helpful was no small feat, especially when there seemed to be someone who wanted to see you fail.
But as much as Labcoat Peter was annoying, he was also the one who did his part first, meaning your target of the plan should be him.
Of course you had a plan, you're a Loki. You were not exactly concerned with the well-being of Midgard. Interested? Yes. Not so much worried. You had more pressing issues, none of which could be addressed if you're stuck here.
"Hello," you said smoothly, sliding your seat next to him. Labcoat looked up, suddenly wary.
"I won't do it," he said plainly.
"I didn't say anything—"
"You're obviously in need of something. Why else would you stick around on Earth?" he asked, as though it was clear as the water in front of him.
"Peter's my friend."
"Acquaintances is a better word. If expect me to believe you care about him, then you must think I'm not the smartest."
You frowned. It might have been your fault to underestimate him but that didn't mean you were going to give up. You decided to take a different approach. Heroes were always easily persuadable.
"Fine," you sighed, folding your hands. "I do wanna go back. Is that so bad?"
"If you care about going back more than fixing this, that makes you dangerous," he recited off, taking a solution even though you knew it was ready.
"You're stupid if you think I need a reason to be dangerous," you smiled, leaning your head against your hand and looking up at him. Your playfulness only made him seem more tired.
"Alright then," he said, giving in. "If you're so powerful, what do you want? Why can't you just spin and vanish to wherever you wanna go in a puff of green smoke?"
"Because I don't know where the TVA is," you replied, a little impatiently. "I need a temp pad to go back and it's not something I can make in two seconds."
"And you think I'll make it?" He sounded so amused that you knew he won't agree to it so easily.
You thought for a bit before speaking. "TVA is ruining my life. All Lokis' lives actually. You're a variant of a Peter Parker. You don't know what it's like for us.
You get to be a hero in every universe. What would you do if you spend your whole life running and came to realize that the dumb choices you did weren't your fault but some idiots calling themselves the Time-Keepers?"
"What?"
"You got to be good. I didn't have a choice," you said sharply. "I'd rather go back to my own universe and see my mom, my cat, and my plant — gods, did anyone even water the plant? And you know how long it's been since I've had the pancakes made by my brother?"
"Where are you going with this?" He interrupted, angrily meeting your eyes.
"You can go back home," you whispered, showing just a crack of vulnerability. Just enough that he visibly softened. "I can't. Not ever. The least I can do is burn down TVA and any gods who think they can take away free will. I just need the temp pad and I swear I'll go my own way."
"I haven't even heard of temp pad before! You can't expect me to make it!" he said defensively.
"You're smart and I'll help," you said, your voice suddenly excited. "Please?"
He sighed, making you properly smile. Heroes were always easily persuadable, especially if you made them think they were saving you.
------
"Where were you?" MJ asked, seeing you walk back into the laboratory half an hour later.
"Had to take care of something," you winked, then threw a glass rod to Labcoat. He caught it easily, not even looking up from what he was working on.
"This is too short," he said, then instantly added, "nevermind, I'll take care of it."
"What are you guys working on?" the youngest Peter asked, removing his glass goggles. "I thought you finished the cures."
"I did, this is just something for Y/N- AHA!" Labcoat Peter jumped up, and you almost expected him to start tap dancing. "Finally!"
"Is it done?" you asked, alarmed. "Already?"
"I think so, I've done all you told me, and now the chip's properly installed." He showed the small rectangle device, making you almost scream with joy yourself. Just as you were about to reach for it, he raised it over his head.
You groaned. "What now?"
"You are not walking off into the sunset while the rest of us needs help," he said, pointing to the laboratory. "You know magic. If anything goes wrong, it's good to have a god for backup."
"I thought I was suspicious."
"No, you're just annoying. I promise I'll give you the temp pad after this mess is over."
"Or I can just kill—" you stopped when you saw the youngest Peter was staring. No matter how grown-up he may be, he still looked like a wound puppy, or more specifically, like a kid whose parents are always fighting. You also remembered how he just lost his aunt.
"Fine," you muttered bitterly.
"Great!" MJ clapped her hands. "Do we start looking for the monsters now? Are all loose ends tied up nice and tight?"
"Actually, there's still Mr. Strange," the youngest Peter said, frowning. "I did trap him in the mirror dimension but I'm pretty sure he can't stay there for long."
"Don't worry about that, I took care of it," you said quickly.
"You did?" the oldest Peter asked, astonished.
"Why did you think I disappeared a while ago? I knew Stephen was the only one no one thought of so I kinda went ahead and did my own thing. Closed the portals for 24 hours. You're welcome."
"I thought you were out to get glass rods," Ned said, confused.
"I just picked it up from the trashcans on my way back." You shrugged. Everyone still looked surprised. "Seriously? Me helping without any strings attached is such a new concept?"
"It is, but we'll take about that later," Labcoat Peter said shrewdly. "And are we sure that the sorcerer Strange is such a liability? What if we need him?"
"Pfft, we won't," youngest Peter said, waving it off.
------
ONE HOUR LATER
"Uh, I think we need Mr. Strange!" he yelled, looking at the sky.
You followed his lead, then immediately wished you hadn't. There seemed to be purple clouds, which wouldn't be alarming if there weren't thousands of silhouettes adorned among them, as if the stars are transforming into millions of people.
You gulped, knowing most of them were probably unfriendly.
"We need to stop this messed up spell now," you yelled, eyes trained on the approaching madness.
"CALL BACK STRANGE!" Labcoat Peter yelled. "Open the portals and bring him back!"
"How the hell do I do that— he's going to be there for 24 hours!"
"Do you want the temp pad or not?"
You bit down your lips, something you did whenever you had to make a choice between what was good for you versus what was good for everyone else.
"Give me the temp pad first," you demanded, holding out your hand.
"No, I'm not stupid," he said, stepping closer.
Cursing, you closed your eyes, trying to think of any incantation which would work, something to break the protective charm you had placed over the mirror dimension. If you somehow did that, Stephen could easily find his own way back.
You decided on a simple reversible spell, one that wasn't too complicated to do or remember. Clapping your hands together, you drew upon the power from any source you could — the air, the earth, the smell of apple trees a mile away — anything and everything you could connect with.
"Now," you whispered, lowering yourself and touching the ground with your hand.
Green smoke peaked out of the pebbles, then a glass-shattering sound echoed through the plane, one that was so strong that everyone stopped what they were doing and stared. You tried to help, but all it seemed to do was bring a ringing to everyone's ears.
"What the hell happened?" an unfamiliar voice said, making you turn in shock. A man in a long red cape was looking upon your small group with exasperated eyes.
"Mr. Strange!" the youngest Peter yelled, running forwards to hug him.
Stephen frowned at this gesture of affection and you would have laughed, but you had more pressing issues at hand. You turned to your Peter.
"Give me the temp pad, Labcoat," you said sharply, pointing at his hand.
"Labcoat? That's worse than Webhead," he scoffed, though he did seem entertained. Too entertained actually.
"I did what you asked!" you snapped. "Now hand it over."
"I said I'll give it to you after you're done with the fight," he said, holding the device close to his heart. "And you're going back to your home, not TVA. Go back to your family and land of pancakes."
"No," you gritted your teeth, angry and exhausted after the spell you just did.
You pounced, trying to get it off his annoyingly sticky fingers. He clawed at it with force, and the two of you were literally wrestling over a device while the universe was falling apart. Not your best moment.
"Let it go," you warned. "I'm saying this one last time, let it go."
"No!" he yelled.
"Then we're doing this my way," you whispered triumphantly, then pressed the button on its screen, the one that had the coordinates of where you needed to be.
Then all turned to dust.
-----
Pure darkness greeted you when you opened your eyes. You stood up, lighting the nearest lantern with magic, and saw that you were in a cellar of some kind.
"Where the hell am I?" Labcoat Peter yelled, jumping up from the floor at the sudden light.
"Welcome to TVA!" you said smugly. "I told you to let go."
"Huh," he stood up, looking around. "TVA's smaller than I imagined."
"Well, we're obviously in some kind of basement, I just need to find a way out." You squinted your eyes. "Wait, why are you not freaking out?"
"Hm?" He turned to you with a smile he had clearly lost trying to fight. "Oh, that's because we're in Tessa's cafe. In the cellar actually."
"What?"
"See," he pointed to the boxes in the corner, the ones that had a large 'T' printed on their sides. "I recognize the logo."
You were only more confused. "You've been to TVA before?"
He laughed, a full booming laugh that made you want to strangle him. "We're not in TVA, Your Highness."
A god doesn't usually go speechless, but that's sort of what happened with you. Saying "no" repeatedly under your breath, you went to the door, trying to force it open.
"The temp pad didn't work?" you yelled all the while you were pulling at the handle. "Why the fuck didn't it work?"
"Because I don't know how to make a fudging temp pad!" he said, still amused. "I'm smart, but not enough to literally make a portal through universes. I made a random gadget so you would stick around and help us."
"You did what?"
"I don't know how we're back at my universe though. My best bet is Stephen took care of it and fixed the spell. See, I knew he'd be useful!"
You were fuming.
No really, you could feel the anger coursing through your veins, burning everything from the inside out.
"I'm. Stuck. In. Your. Fucking. Universe?"
"With me!" he added joyfully. "Now I know it won't be as good as your pancakes but Tessa's has some excellent coffee. C'mon, it's my treat."
He used his webs to pull the door open, then casually walked past you, oblivious to your glares.
You followed him reluctantly because there wasn't much you could do. After the entire mess in Midgard, coffee didn't sound so bad. You could always just kill him later.

1.
For once, Loki woke up this morning before Mobius.
Leaning on his hand, he took the opportunity to watch his beloved while he slept.
As he gazed at the sleeping features of his lover, he was once again taken aback by the strength of his feelings.
Loki had little or no experience with love, so he had nothing to compare to what he was experiencing with Mobius right now.
No one had made him feel the way the man made him feel.
It was as if Mobius had wrapped his roots around Loki's heart little by little but without imprisoning him.
Mobius' love had set him free.
In return, Loki's feelings had taken root in Mobius' constancy.
Sometimes Loki liked to think about how his feelings had developed, because it had all happened so quickly that he had never been able to enjoy those stolen first moments.
It would be hard for Loki to say exactly when he had begun to notice that his relationship with Mobius was different from any relationship he had had before, but what he was sure of was that no one had ever been able to see through him as quickly as Mobius.
"I don't like to talk."
"But you do like to lie, which you just did. Because we both know you love to talk. Talkie-talkie."
Honestly, at that moment, Loki thought fondly, if he hadn't been so angry at being found out, he would have laughed.
As a matter of fact, it had become a fond memory for them. Whenever Loki would go into one of his grandiloquent tirades, Mobius would simply make this little gesture with his hand and would mouth "Talkie Talkie"
" You don't know anything about me.
"Maybe I'd like to learn."
It was probably at that moment that Mobius had begun to touch something in Loki that no one had ever touched. The fact that anyone would even bother to genuinely learn about him was in itself new. Except for his mother and Thor, most people had always assumed the worst of him.
"Honestly, I'm actually a fan. Yeah. And I guess I'm wondering why does someone with so much range just wanna rule?
Mobius had been the first to make him question himself.
Of course, at the time, he was not at all receptive to what Mobius' words really meant.
It had taken him some time to admit the truth.
The moment he had admitted it, the naked truth, without any more artifice, he had been ready to receive the final blow, the ratification of his vileness, but no, nothing like that.
"Because it's part of the illusion. It's the cruel, elaborate trick conjured by the weak to inspire fear."
"'A desperate play for control.' You do know yourself."
"A villain."
"That's not how I see it."
That's not how I see it.
At that moment, Loki's heart had pounded for the first time.
The man in front of him had seen all the lowliness that Loki was capable of and yet he did not see him as a villain.
From the first hours of their meeting, he had made it impossible for Loki not to love him and from then on, his feelings had grown exponentially.
2.
As he walked down the path of his memories, Loki continued to gaze at Mobius as he slept. A small miracle in itself for Loki.
Knowing who Loki was, Mobius slept in his presence. The perfect image of absolute trust.
Loki sometimes still had trouble feeling worthy of such trust.
Seeing him sleeping like that, he thought of the day when he himself had first fallen asleep in this way with Mobius.
The day he fell a little more in love with Mobius.
It started with Mobius taking the blame for the failure of their first mission together, when it was all Loki's fault. They could have just pruned him, but no, Mobius had pleaded his case to Ravonna.
Then Loki had presented his theory to Mobius, admittedly with a rather shaky metaphor, even ruining one of his lover's favorite dishes.
"Well, here's a fun theory. You lure me out into the field, and then you stab me in the back. And that's a theory I don't wanna test."
"I'd never stab anyone in the back. That's such a boring form of betrayal."
"Loki, I've studied almost every moment of your entire life. You've literally stabbed people in the back, like, 50 times."
"Well, I'd never do it again, because it got old."
Mobius laughed and chose to follow Loki's theory, even though Loki had given him no reason to believe in him until now. Even though his theory was based on almost nothing, Mobius had chosen to believe Loki.
Then they returned from Pompeii and something happened that had never happened to Loki, he had fallen asleep. Loki, who was distrustful of everything and nothing, had simply fallen asleep in the presence of someone he hardly knew. As if his heart had understood before his mind that he had nothing to fear from Mobius.
When Mobius had woken him up, Loki's heart had pounded for the second time, and it wasn't fright that had caused it, but the realization that Loki was falling in love and falling deeply.
3.
As he looked up from his contemplation of Mobius, Loki's gaze fell on the photo that lay on his nightstand. A memory of their first vacations, when Mobius had finally realized his dream. In the middle of the paradisiacal decor of an island in Midgard, Loki had taken this photo of Mobius piloting -at last- a jetski. So much joy on his face.
Another thing that made Loki fall in love a little more: the passion of his lover for some small insignificant things.
Josta, salad, jet-ski...
"You know, some things... Actually, most things in history are kinda dumb, and everything gets ruined eventually. But in the early 1990s, for a brief, shining moment, there was a beautiful union of form and function, which we call the jet ski, and a reasonable man cannot differ."
"You ever been on one?"
"No... No. I think a TVA agent showing up on a jet ski on the Sacred Timeline, that would create a branch for sure."
"Oh it'd be fun, though."
"Yeah, it'd be really fun."
"So, why read about them?"
"It just helps remind me of what we're fighting for."
The expression Mobius had had at that moment, when he had said something like that with such candor had made Loki fall even more.
And his heart had pounded for the third time.
While he had sensed that what would happen next would destroy what Mobius believed in, Loki had not been able to stop himself from wanting to protect him and his happiness, and to hope that one day he would be able to realize his dream.
With his eyes on the photo commemorating a very real memory, he felt a sense of satisfaction, because his lover had been able to realize this dream and Loki had been there to witness it.
4.
"Loki... Don't go..."
Loki's eyes returned from the picture to his lover, whose features were now tense, probably from a nightmare.
"I'm here love, I'm not leaving. I'm staying with you."
Saying this, Loki gently strokes Mobius' cheek and his expression immediately relaxes. After a few seconds,he was sleeping peacefully again.
Loki didn't need to read Mobius' mind to know what he had dreamed.
He had known that he had taken a huge risk when he had decided to follow Sylvie and he had known that the reunion with Mobius would not be easy.
After all, he had betrayed him. But of all the acts of betrayal that Loki had been guilty of, this was the one that had cost him the most. Because of the feelings he was beginning to have for Mobius.
But what he hadn't imagined was that Mobius would almost turn into a jealous lover, even though at that point they didn't have that kind of relationship at all.
Loki had been incredibly surprised that it wasn't Loki's betrayal that had hurt Mobius the most, but the fact that he had made a connection with Sylvie.
"Come on. Look at your eyes. You like her."
"You like her. Does she like you?"
"Both of you were just swooning over each other."
"It's breaking my reality right now. What an incredible seismic narcissist. You fell for yourself."
"I'm supposed to believe your terrorist girlfriend"
"What, your female self that you have some demented crush on…"
Loki's heart had pounded for the fourth time when he realized what it could mean. He had fallen a little more at the thought of Mobius, at the thought that the man might be jealous, at the thought of what it might mean about Mobius' feelings for him.
5.
Then there had been that moment of grace, the exact moment when Loki had known that he was definitely in love with Mobius.
For the first time, when everything was against him, someone had chosen to believe in him. That someone was Mobius.
Even though he was clearly angry with Loki, he still listened to him and chose to believe him.
Despite Loki's attempts at manipulation, betrayals, and mistakes, Mobius renewed his faith in him and spoke those words that were imprinted in Loki's head.
"You could be whoever, whatever you wanna be, even someone good. I mean, just in case anyone ever told you different."
Loki's throat tightened as he was overwhelmed by the emotion of the memory.
Mobius had no idea how many wounds he had healed in Loki at that moment.
After what Loki had done, where Odin and Thor had not forgiven him, not only had Mobius forgiven him but even more amazingly, he had shown that he believed that Loki was capable of being good, of doing good.
At that moment, Loki's heart did not pound once, but thousands of times, at full speed.  Because of the joy and love that filled it.
The sudden disappearance of Mobius just afterwards had been all the more cruel. Because at that moment, they didn't know about the Void and Loki had thought Mobius was lost forever. He had been devastated.
He couldn't help but touch Mobius' face, gently so as not to wake him, then he whispered softly, "You too Mobius, do not ever leave me."
+1
They had found each other again.
When he first saw Mobius after he thought he had lost him, it only confirmed Loki's feelings for Mobius.
The way his heart had pounded at the sight of the one he loved was impossible to ignore.
So when they had to part once again, Loki had not been able to resist the pull of his heart, and instead of grabbing Mobius' hand, he had taken the man in his arms.
Loki had held Mobius in his arms many times since that moment, but he would never forget the feeling of that first hug. The feeling that the universe was in place. That he was where he belonged, that he was home.  He had expressed without words all that he felt and Mobius had answered him in the same way. They had to part again, but this time the bond between them was undeniable and unbreakable.
They had to go through a lot to finally enjoy their love, without the sword of Damocles, without the threat of the end of the world, or of a multiversal war over their heads, but they had made it. They were here now.
With each passing day, Loki fell a little more in love.
The Midgardian saying, I love you more than yesterday and less than tomorrow, had become his.
Because every time he looked at Mobius and realized the love they shared, he felt like it was stronger.
Mobius moved in his sleep, making the sheet slide off his shoulder.
Loki could not resist and leaned over to kiss the bare shoulder. Mobius woke up and turned to face Loki with a sleepy smile on his lips.
"Hey there handsome," Mobius whispered to Loki, gently kissing Loki's cheek. Loki's heart fluttered in a familiar way now, at such gentleness and at the adoration he read in his lover's eyes.
"Hey love," whispered Loki.
Mobius kissed him, his lips pressing lazily against Loki's. Loki smiled and kissed him back, happy.
Together they enjoyed the delights of a perfect, quiet morning.

character tag game:
add ten characters you fell in love with in 2021, whether you liked them before this year but really fell for them now or just met them, and tag 10 people
tagged by no one, I steal memes but tagging @itookyoudown @blackleatherjacketz @metaphoricalflora @hoodyhoo @readtorelax75 @wildglitterwolf @smallelite @queercodedcowboy
In no particular order:
1. Orange Cassidy (AEW) - I know, I know. I’ve known him in the peripheral of loving Chuck Taylor for awhile now, but I’ve never really been attached. It was mostly fic writing that got me the rest of the way there, but the three way title match with Kenny and Pac did me in. I wanted him to win SO BADLY.
2. Raylan Givens (Justified) - I’ll admit it. I was a Cobb girl first. Olyphant was hot and I knew him in the peripheral from stuff, and my mom watched Justified when it aired. But after Mando, I watched a single trailer for Justified and told Calo: I’m going to go fucking feral over this man. I knew I’d become the meme of Justified being the only thing I talked about. So I put off watching it for months. Obviously I know myself. Here we are.
3. Boyd Crowder (Justified) - I was lured into Justified with the Givenson gifs. I did not like how many more gifs of Boyd there was than Tim. Boy did I learn. He’s such a fucking disaster and he’s so wordy and wonderful and he won me over.
4. Moiraine Damodred (Wheel of Time) - I watched because of my husband, and I expected to love little twinky almost Anakin Rand. I did not. But man, Moiraine is SUCH a good character. Strong and takes no shit, full of heart. I love the hell out of that little pufferfish.
5. HOOK (AEW) - Listen. I’m going to keep this brief and PG. He’s a great wrestler, they’re doing interesting things with his character. I want to make him a sandwich and also rail him.
6. Mobius M. Mobius (Loki) - I love a soft spoken character who just refuses to back down in the face of things. Show me more characters who kill with kindness and refuse to change.
7. Brooke Taylor (In Treatment) - I went into this show with mild curiosity and God did it ever wreck me. Brooke is a great, flawed character and you both root for her and think she sucks in equal measure. I love her.
8. Ted Lasso (Ted Lasso)- I binged this show and goddamn. A sweet Southern boy who is full of kindness and sadness who just keeps going through and helping people. I fucking adore him.
9. Zagreus (Hades) - He’s bi, he’s snarky and he has daddy issues. Also a fun game steeped in Greek mythology which is my favorite. The art is gorgeous too.
10. Jamie Tartt (Ted Lasso) - He’s hot. He has an accent. He’s a broken boy with daddy issues. He’s everything I like in one neat little package.

No matter where you went in the TVA, there was no escaping that grey, lifeless, atmosphere that came with it. There was no escaping the lies this place was built upon, the brainwashing, the kidnapping in order to keep balance and peace. Your entire life had been completely reconstructed in the eyes of He Who Remains, becoming an obedient guinea pig working in a maze with no knowledge of your true self.
In this moment you wished you could go back to the simplicity of not knowing, you wished you could go back to the never ending exhaustion if it meant you could escape the ache you felt in your heart as everything finally began to hit you, your weeks of denial and pretending coming to an end.
When you returned from the beach with Sylvie you had attempted to sleep. You tossed and turned, practically begging to be able to sleep just so you could escape from your mind. But the second you did sleep, your brain was plagued with more memories, each one more painfully happy than the last. So you decided to take a walk after forcing yourself awake.
The long halls of the TVA were a lot less welcoming this time, a bitterness building up inside of you with every step you took until you ended up in the exact place you were looking for.
Your fingers lingered on the doorknob to your office for a second, merely staring inside the dark room for the first time since being back from The Void.
It felt like a hand was gripping your throat, sharp nails biting into your skin as you walked further inside, hearing the heavy door close behind you. You flick the light on giving yourself a clear look of the room you hated the most out of the entire TVA. Your feet dragged along the floor, fingers brushing against the wood of your desk.
You picked up a small, beautiful glass butterfly sculpture that had been gifted to you from Ravonna after you had been attacked. She had given it to you with a ‘get well soon’ card that she made herself, a kind smile on her face, telling you that she hoped it would bring you at least a little comfort during your recovery.
It was a figurine that you stared at day after day, the object being there to taunt you when you’d ask if you could go back to your original job, it was there during your exhaustion, during your long nights of torturous work as you read file after file unable to find any connection without actually being allowed to go investigate the scene yourself.
And now as you stare at it, all you felt was rage building up inside of you.
A scream was ripped from your throat as you threw it across the room with as much force you could muster. The butterfly shattered against the wall with a piercing crash, a sob was ripped from your throat, and your heart hurt in your chest with every trembling breath.
You glared down at your desk with watery eyes, shoving everything off the smooth surface until it was bare. The bulb in the adjustable lamp broke when your heavy name plate fell on top of the shade, putting a dent in the aluminum. There was a loud thud from the paperweight and the rustle of paper flying from their folders and onto the ground.
The chair sitting in front of your desk wasn’t safe from your seething rage either, you stabbed through the leather upholstery with your letter opener that you picked up from the ground, ripping the cushions apart violently and watching the stuffing inside spill out onto the floor.
The tears were like a never ending waterfall down your cheeks. Another sob being wrenched from your shaking lips as your fingers clasped around the smooth wooden arms of your now gutted chair. You threw it with all of your might towards the shelf standing against the right hand wall, it held all of the things you once proudly called trophies, all of them from successful field missions, doing nothing but taunting you in your sorrow. Both objects collided with a loud shatter, some shelves splintering in on each other, the frame slowly came falling forward right towards you.
“Oh shit.” You swore, your voice sounding raspy from crying. You got out of the way just in time, the shelf barley missing you by an inch as it crashed to the ground loudly.
After the shock settled, your tears continued to pour, another sob being wrenched from deep within your chest
You went over to the cart that held all of your fancy tumblers, something you had joked with Mobius saying it was “for decoration” as you weren’t really much of a drinker. And as the memory of your lost family and home planet settled on your shoulders, you kicked the cart over, hearing each tumblr shatter, shards of glass skidding along the tile and catching at the carpet under your desk.
With a sigh you looked around the room, taking in the damage you had done to the space around you. There were papers scattered all over the floor, broken shards of glass twinkling under the lights, furniture destroyed. The only thing that remained was a single tumbler that had landed on the carpet, saving it from being completely broken. You walked over slowly, feet dragging through the ruined files. You picked up the chipped tumblr, opening the cabinet underneath your desk drawer and pulling out the wine you had been saving for special occasions.
The tears were still rolling down your cheeks, but you had no more energy to make a noise. You felt numb, your emotions merely in the background as you poured a generous amount of wine into the tumbler glass. When you picked it up you saw your reflection briefly, your eyes flickering a dull blue for the briefest second.
---
The wine was quickly disappearing from it’s bottle. Cup after cup you pour, trying to wash away the memories that now so ruthlessly plagued your brain. Every time you closed your eyes you could see River, hear his voice as he told you that everything you knew in your life was a lie.
It felt like no matter what corner you turned down, you’d be greeted with a new secret, salt in your already throbbing wound. Not only had your life been robbed from you from birth, taken from your home planet and put on earth, but your life on earth was torn away from you as well. You were forced into a new life, a new purpose, only to watch it crumble into your hands and sit as your past taunts you with what you could never have again.
You didn’t even notice the door had opened, until legs walked into your line of sight, your eyes glued on the littered floor. Slowly, you looked up to see Loki, he was reading the label on the nearly empty wine bottle that you had sitting on your desk.
“Seems like you’ve been busy.” He comments while setting the bottle back down, earning an eye roll from you.
“What d’you want?” You say, your words slurring together a little as you downed your fourth glass. You slam the tumbler down on your desk a little harsher than you intended.
Loki turned around slowly taking in the damage you caused, hands taking purchase behind his back as he kicked through the papers strewn about on the tile floor.
“I talked to Sylvie.”
“Okay?” You lean back in your desk chair, “An’ I should care about this, why?”
“She told me what happened, so naturally I came to see if you were okay. And to offer something for your troubles.” He looked over his shoulder at you, his expression remaining neutral.
You crossed your arms, blowing through your nose as you shook your head, looking at him suspiciously “Oh, you want t’offer help for the troubles you caused?” You jab your finger in his direction.
Loki looks at you, “I’m offering to help you learn more about your power.” He says.
You bark out a laugh “You’re actually joking right?” You ask angrily “What makes y’think I want to learn how to use my powers?” You spit the words at him, Loki knits his brows, confused. “The only thing I want to do is forget all of the bullshit that I learned about myself today.”
“You can’t just run away from what you truly are.” He says “It’ll always catch up to you eventually.”
A scoff comes from you as you shake your head, “God just shut up already. If it weren’t for you I wouldn’t feel like fucking running. This is all your fault, if you would have just left that fucking teseract alone everything would be fine! The TVA would be running like normal, and I wouldn’t feel like I’m constantly teetering on the edge of a mental breakdown!” You yell, venom lacing your shaky voice.
Slowly you stand from your desk chair, swaying forward a little before being able to catch yourself, you straighten yourself to the best of your ability, grasping your fingers around the neck of the wine bottle and walking around your desk.
You shove past the god childishly, “Have a good night, asshole.” You say over your shoulder, turning the light to your office off, leaving him in the darkness as you slam the door shut. You begin walking down the hall towards Mobius’ office, seeking the comfort of his couch.
The inside of his office was clean, nicely kept, and beautifully decorated with his accomplishments. Not as showy as Ravonna’s office was but in a similar taste, it was a comforting, warm place, the only place that truly felt like home in the TVA.
You sit your wine bottle down next to the couch, hearing the glass clink against the tile as you slowly sit down, muscles feeling stiff. You tug at the blanket thrown over the back of the couch, draping it over your body, head resting comfortably on one of the soft pillows, a soft sigh leaving your lips. It wasn’t long before your eyelids began to droop, the warmth from the wine lulling you to sleep.

To Never Give Up
Summary: By mistake, Loki takes a portal leading him to New Asgard, where he meets Thor who is broken & hopeless after the events of Infinity War. Thor is given some closure and Loki can finally say goodbye.
Pairing: Loki x Sylvie implied.
A/N: Idk how Loki ends up in New Asgard in but that's irrelevant. Towards the end I kind of lost inspiration & ideas so it flopped a bit but I wanted to finish it.
Word Count: 3k
- - - - - - - -
Loki landed ungracefully with a loud 'thud' against a hard cold floor. As he lay down in his new surroundings, the awful smell of the room hit him first, making him scrunch up his nose. Getting up to his feet with an exhausted sigh, he took in the room. It was small, dull and unkempt. Only a slither of light broke through the closed curtains. Empty food packets and cans of alcohol littered the table and wooden floor. Loki saw some controls with wires connecting to a thin rectangular box next to a TV. The stoned-wall room looked abandoned, claustrophobic. How could anyone possible live here? Blankets lay over a gloomy sofa as if someone was sleeping on it too.
Loki cautiously walked around the room for any sign of life, avoiding treading on the litter or touching anything for that matter. He thought whoever lived here would probably not be much of a threat. Outside, he heard the sound of birds squawking and ocean waves.
The next thing he heard was a sudden high pitch creaking sound of a door opening. Loki conjured up a small dagger, eyes narrowing to the direction of the sound. Someone was home. The door closed and within seconds, the resident appeared in front of the room.
Loki’s dagger fell to the floor as he froze in place. He stared openly, wide eyed, trying to process who this heavy figure was. The figure in turn dropped a white plastic bag of food.
"Thor..?” Loki gasped in horror. His brother wore a grubby white t-shirt and a knitted cardigan, hair long and tangled. At first, Loki wasn't even sure it was Thor.
Thor mumbled out a bunch of incoherent sounds before managing to form actual words. "Loki..? Loki! You're alive!" He let out a laugh as he pulled his brother into a tight hug.
Loki was left speechless. Tears prickled in the corner of his eyes, hesitantly placing an arm around Thor to return the embrace. A warmth spread through him. Loki did not wish to let go though Thor eventually did.
A bright smile crossed his lips. “You bastard! You had me fooled there, thinking you'd actually died again! And for good this time. You truly are quite the trickster, brother. " The laughter continued as he pat Loki on the back.
Loki swallowed. "Thor..I'm.." His stomach ached at the thought of telling Thor the truth. "I'm not from this timeline." He guessed since Thor was not on Asgard that their home had been destroyed on this timeline by Ragnarok and Thanos had attacked. Loki placed a hand on Thor's shoulder. "I'm not your Loki." He said softly.
"Wait..this isn't another one of your silly little tricks, right?" He kept up his smile despite the uncertainty in his gaze.
Loki raised both hands in an attempt to calm his brother. "Thor. I need you to listen to me."
But he did exactly the opposite. "Please come in! Excuse the mess. I-i wasn't expecting visitors. Not that I, er, getting any.." Thor mumbled as he hurried in, removing any litter from the sofa and tidying the blankets. Loki turned to watch Thor helplessly, unable to move from his spot. He sucked in a heavy sigh. "Have a seat." Thor spoke.
Loki forced away the numbness in his limps and slowly sat down. "Thor, please. Just listen to me." He said in despair.
"Right. Of course." Thor muttered, siting himself down.
"What year is this?" Loki asked.
"Um.." Thor frowned, scratching himself. "2023."
"I've come from the year 2012." Loki explained. Thor stilled frowned.
"This isn't a joke is it?" His little piece of happiness faltered.
Loki shook his head, a pained smile reached his lips. "I wish it was."
Any trace of a smile left Thor completely. "So.. you're from another timeline..which means.." He sniffed. "..you're still.."
"Dead." Loki said. "Your Loki is dead." Loki felt a heaviness in his chest. Dead.
Thor wrapped his cardigan around himself. "Then why are you here?"
Loki took a moment to gather his thoughts. "It's a very long story. I took a portal and by chance it lead me here. To you." His gaze met Thor's. There was no sign of that prideful hero left in those empty eyes. Nothing that once resembled a would be King of Asgard, a saviour to many. Loki wasn’t sure it was a good idea to tell Thor about the whole TVA situation either.
“How come you’re alive?” Thor asked.
“After New York, I escaped with the Tesseract. I’ve seen a lot..I saw the events that happened to my future, from the Dark Elves to Ragnarok and the attack by Tha—“
“No. We don’t say that name here.” Thor choked out, cutting Loki off.
Loki nodded. Thor had lost everything and so had Loki too, though in return he found Mobius and Sylvie to help with the loss of his family but Thor was alone. Not even the avengers came to visit him from the sound of it. Loki fought the urge to let his fingers curl into fists.
"Sorry." Loki apologised. "So this is your new..home?" His eyes scanned the living room.
Thor fumbled with his fingers. "It's not much. After the..well, you know, the humans were kind enough to offer us this village. It's a bit fishy but it's all we've got. They even gave us a sign too." Thor forced on a smile. "It's not quite like home." He looked down at his lap.
"Asgard is not a place." Loki said.
"It's a people." Thor said quietly, finishing off the common saying amongst the Asgardians.
Loki knew he should not stay too long, it would only hurt Thor more when he left but maybe this was what they both needed despite not being from the same timeline. Loki told himself to go. Was it selfish to stay for a little while longer? Maybe this was meant to happen?
"Why don't you show me around this new kingdom of yours?" Loki suggested with genuine smile.
"No, I don't really go out much."
Loki stood up. If he was going to stay for a while, he wasn’t willing to be confined in this depressing room. "Well I'll just go ahead on my own, if you don't mind?" He smirked. "I'll be on my best behaviour."
Thor scrambled up to his feet. "I don't think that a good idea. You're suppose to be dead, they'll see you."
Loki chuckled. "No they won't. You still underestimate me, brother."
- - - - - - -
Loki concealed his presence from anyone nearby, though it wasn't too busy, some had gone out on their boats. They both walked along the pier, Loki had conjured up a black coat due to the weather. The sky was hidden behind grey clouds, as a breeze swept across the ocean. Rays of sunlight managed to break through occasionally. Thor briefly spoke about their job with trading and catching fish for nearby villages in this place called 'Scotland'.
After about half an hour of wandering along the pier, they both stood on a hill overlooking the coast and houses of New Asgard. Thor bent down, placing in hands on his knees to catch his breath.
"Are you okay?"
"Don't worry about me. The exercise will do me some good." He said sucking in the ocean air before standing up straight, stretching his back. Loki gave him a moment to steady his breathing back to normal.
"So what are your daily king duties on this fine and wonderful kingdom?" Loki asked in light humour.
Thor scratched his brow in thought. "You know, king stuff, the usual. It's not like I stay inside all day shouting at a bunch of fools on a screen."
"Sounds..exciting." Loki said flatly.
"What about you? Causing chaos wherever you go?"
Loki thought of his words carefully, there was no need for Thor to know all the specifics when he already had enough to deal with.
"Something like that." He smiled. Chaos was too much of a small word to describe what he had gone through. "I've been protecting the sacred timeline." Loki joked with enthusiasm.
Thor frowned but did not question it. "Oh, yeah? And how's that going?”
Loki's facial features tightened. "Marvellous.”
Thor did not have the effort to ask Loki to expand on his response, he probably thought Loki was lying but it did not matter to him.
They both stood together watching the ocean. Loki closed his eyes, tipping his head back as he let the breeze blow against him, prolonging their time together. There was something about the ocean that brought him a sense of calmness. As Loki's eyes remained close, Thor turned to look at his brother who appeared to be so at peace, a feeling Thor had rarely often seen Loki experience.
"You've changed." Thor said absentmindedly, his voice mirroring the calmness between them.
Loki opened his eyes, a warm expression crossed his face. "I know. Seeing one's own life play out on screen was certainly an experience. I finally heard what I needed to hear for so long.” That he was loved.
"I met people I could trust.” Well, it was still an ongoing process for some part of it. “Someone who told me I could be anything I wanted to be, even someone good.”
A tinged of jealousy pinched inside Thor's chest. "Met anyone special along the way?" He nudged Loki with his elbow as he grinned.
"Well," Loki placed his hands in his pockets, letting out a nervous laugh. "it's complicated."
The shining grin remained. "I wish to hear about them.”
Loki shied away for a moment, trying to force his smile back but unfortunately failed to do so. "She's sometimes irritating and very reckless." His expression then softened. "She reminds me of how I used to be..so full of anger but deep down she's hurting, a lot. She doesn't trust, or let anyone in. Or even know what it’s like to love someone.”
"And then you came along with all that charm of yours.” Thor teased.
Loki scoffed. "Cut it out. We're..still figuring things out. I think."
"Truly, I am happy for you, brother. And what is this fair maiden’s name?" She was definitely far from a ‘fair maiden’...
Loki averted his gaze downwards, their last moment that they shared together played through his mind. "Sylvie." He said, almost as a whisper to himself. A name that weighed heavy in his heart.
"Sylvie." Thor repeated, testing the name. “You know, brother, for the first time in my life. I'm actually jealous of you. Who would of thought that?"
Loki frowned. "Jealous? Of me?" This would of once made Loki feel victorious that the roles had been reversed after many years but now it only pained his heart to see his mighty brother succumb to such sadness.
"I mean, look at you! All happy and in love. And then there's me. Barely even a king, I spend every day inside pretending I'm fine, it's not like most of my people haven't died when I was suppose to protect them or-or that half of the universe has been destroyed, that we failed them, failed each other and fell apart..” Thor rambled on. “We lost.”
"If this means anything to you; I still think you're worthy." Loki said softly. Thor turned with tears prickling in his eyes.
"I am?" He questioned, sniffling. “I’m not quite sure anymore.”
"You are forgetting who you are. You can't let Thanos take everything away from you. He is no god.” Loki knew mentioning Thanos would displease Thor but Loki knew the hard way that hiding your pain, forgetting that it exists, only made everything more worse. The only way out was to face it head on. Loki would certainly know.
Thor shook his head. “No, no. Loki, I can't. Not without you. I've lost everything." He trembled in his words. Loki regretted not leaving sooner. He had failed to comfort Sylvie, to save their trust within their final moments, now Loki had to find some way to bring closure to Thor who was possibly past his breaking point. Comforting others was a tricky task, a trait he had not quite naturally inherited from his mother.
"You don't need me. Our paths were destined to diverge." Loki had found a way to move on and Thor needed to do so as well. "All is not so lost, brother." When you live for so long, loss must be something you became familiar with but regardless of long you knew someone, there was never enough time for when you'd be ready to say goodbye.
"I know. I know." Thor mumbled to himself. Despite his larger size, somehow he seemed to cower into himself, making him seem so small.
Loki cleared his throat. "So the Avengers..they disbanded?" He asked.
Thor nodded. "Seemed that way. Not heard from them since the whole 'snap' disaster." They abandoned him, Loki thought in anguish, failing to hide the disgust in his features.
"The mighty so-called Avengers gave up, is that it?" Loki folded his arms across his chest.
"You seem angry, brother." Thor commented out of curiosity.
Loki shrugged. "They call themselves heroes, protectors against evil but when they lose, they go and hide away from their mistakes like cowards.”
"Then what makes someone a hero?"
Loki blinked several times, his annoyance was caught off guard by Thor's question. Someone who blindly follows the rules? Who uses their powers for fame and fortune? Those who believe they are perfect? But it seems after all, that they were anything but perfect.
"I don't know." Loki looked across at the waves, straightening up his posture and gave Thor his answer; "They are selfless, willing to sacrifice themselves for others without question. They don't just give up even when they lose. They keep on going." Loki attempted to keep his frustration under control but tendril of it managed to slip through.
A small smile portrayed across Thor's lips. "So is that who you are now?"
Loki frowned, turning his attention to his brother. "What do you mean?"
"A hero."
Loki chuckled. Him? A hero? He'd never stopped to think of himself as that. Loki had been many things, taken on many roles; the villain, a trickster, an outcast, a prince. But never a hero in the eyes of others or himself.
"Is that really such a bad thing, Loki?"
"I suppose not." Loki huffed out in uncertainty.
"Whoever said you could be anything you wanted to be was right." Then Thor repeated the words he once said to his Loki on Sakaar; "You could be more."
"Thank you." Loki spoke sincerely with a smile. Maybe he was thankful that he had stayed after all. A final chance to see his brother and for Thor to know that on another timeline, Loki was alive and well.
"No need to thank me, brother. I should be the one thanking you. I am glad fate has brought you here to me, to remind me of who I am."
"My pleasure." Loki nodded.
After a gloomy start to the day, the sun had won its battle against the clouds and shone its rays against the ocean, blessing New Asgard with its glorious light and warmth.
"Looks like the sun is finally making an appearance." Loki commented, looking upwards. "This place is rather melancholy to say the least."
Thor's eyes widened in bewilderment, his gaze switching between the sun and his brother. A tear trickled down his cheek. Fate was truly cruel in some ways. Loki noticed Thor's odd expression.
"Thor?"
Thor shook his head to escape himself from his thoughts. "I'm fine. And don't talk badly about my newly established kingdom. It's a...work in progress. Come back in a few years time and we'll have towers across these mountains."
"I'll take your word for it." Loki chuckled, though their happy mood soon faded. Loki would not be back here in a few years time. He would likely not come back at all. Thor picked up on Loki's sudden change of mood.
"Why can't you stay, Loki?" Thor asked despite knowing that he could not stay.
"As much as I would wish to stay with you, I can't. I.. have people wanting for me." He needed to find Mobius and Sylvie, to fix this mess that had unfolded, he will not run away. Thor nodded with a sniff.
"Will you at least come and visit?" He pleaded. Loki did not want to make any false promises, though he so easily could to make this less painful for Thor but in the long run, the guilt would soon eat up inside of him. He had enough of it to deal with already.
"Thor. I can't. I don't belong here."
Thor’s newly found confidence collapsed, hands beginning to shake. Loki made the decision to leave before the pain was too much to bear for both of them.
"No." Thor shook his head. "Don't leave me."
Loki placed a hand on his brother's quivering shoulder. "I have to. People need need me."
"To be a hero?" Thor managed to force smile as the tears shone in his eyes
"Well I guess." Loki smiled back before opening up his arms to embrace him in a hug. He let their embrace linger on.
"Don't give up." Loki whispered until they let each other go one final time. Thor did not have a chance to reply when Loki waved a hand of green sparks across Thor’s tear stained face.
"Goodbye, brother." Was the last words Thor heard before a gentle darkness overtook his sight.
- - - - - -
"Hey, man. You waking up anytime soon?" Said a voice. Thor felt something small and solid hit his face. "You're not dead are you?" Another minor hard object made contact with his cheek.
Thor had awoken, he was inside his beach hut, Korg stood above him catching a rock in his palm. "Sorry, hope that didn't hurt too much."
Thor ignored him, shrugging off his blanket as he stood up, stable onto his feet. There was a gleam of strength in his eyes that had been missing for far too long. A broad smile made an unusual appearance as the sound of thunder rumbled in the distance.
"Must of been some good dream you had there, buddy?"
"We need to contact the remaining Avengers." Thor demanded as he strode off towards the front door.
Korg scratched the back of his head. "Why?"
"Because heroes never give up!" Thor beamed.
Thank you, brother.

You’re not him-Chapter 2
( How do I put links?)
Italics are reader's thoughts
"ABORT MISSION ABORT MISSION ABORT THE DAMN FRICKING MISSION-"
"Um, Miss, who are you?" Loki's voice dragged you out of your thoughts.
"Uh-I'm I'm an agent! here! in the TVA!" you say a little too enthusiastically.
Eyeing you worriedly, Loki replies, " Oooook, now Mobius." he says, looking at the man, " where will I be staying?"
" Y/n will show you your quarters Loki, and you'll have your own cubicle, where you'll be taught by Miss Minutes about the TVA" Mobius replies walking Loki out of his office, shooting you a sympathetic glance.
Following closely behind, the reality if the situation suddenly hit you like a train. A variant of your  your soon-to-be husband, who died, was here
Alive.
Should you tell him? Should you not tell him? All the sadness and depression which you tried so hard to push away and bottle up was surfacing, leaking out drop by drop.
"Y/n? Y/n! Earth to Y/n!" you heard Mobius say your name, his hand waving in front of your face, he was looking at you sadly, knowing what you were going through.
" Sorry yeah?" you say, a little out of breath.
" Take Loki to his room ok? The staff quarters." He said.
" Yeah! Sure! Please follow me Mr. Laufeyson." you say heading towards the staff quarters.
Loki looks at Mobius before following you.
After a while of walking in complete silence, Loki tries to make conversation,
"I don't believe I've gotten your name madam" he says.
" Huh, well I thought, you already heard it multiple times, given how many times Mobius had shake me out of my thoughts, I'm Y/n. Nice to meet you." Again.
" Heh yes, well I'm Loki-"
" of Asgard, Yes, I'm aware of that Mr Laufeyson, I bet everyone knows who you are." you say.
It suddenly dawned that you might have not made a good first impression.
" I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude, It's just everyone's on edge today." Yeah! particularly me! Well what am I supposed to do when I see a variant of my dead fiancé? Kiss him? Tell him the truth? No you idiot!
" Well, I doubt they have a runaway variant everyday." he says chuckling lightly.
" You'll be surprised, Mr Laufeyson." you say smirking at him.
Heading to a door, you unlock it with a keycard and show him inside. It's a fairly large room, with a bed, a Tv, a mini-fridge, with an attatched bathroom.
" This is your room, and so is this keycard, your uniform is in the cupboard and your work begins tomorrow. Good Luck Mr.Laufeyson" you say smiling lightly while simultaneously crying and sobbing on the inside.
" Thank you, Ma'am, and please call me Loki." he says smirking at you.
"Only if you call me Y/n."
"Alright then, Thank you Y/n"
" You're very welcome Loki, I'll see you tomorrow." you say walking out.
~~
As soon as you leave and the door closes, you immediately sprint to Mobius's office.
" OK, NOW WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO MOBIUS?! HUH? WHAT SHOULD I SAY, HI I'M ACTUALLY OR I WAS YOUR FIANCE WHEN YOU WERE ALIVE AND I'M IN LOVE WITH YOU AND YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO I AM!" you shout at him.
"Y/n Liste-" Mobius begins,
"No no, this is where you zip it!" your eyes glowing a shade of orange . That's all that would happen, the only indication that you had magic, you're eyes would glow when you were  you were really emotional.
" Picture yourself in my place, you're getting married, you're fiance is killed before you're eyes, then after a few years you see them again, but they don't know you, how would you feel? Think about that Mobius!" you say, tears threatening to spill out your eyes.
"Y/n, I understand that, but we need him, he's the key to ending this, lots of minutemen, Jamie, Cassandra, Damon, Stefan! All dead! We need him, and we need him to be focused, after the mission is over, then you can tell him whatever you want, but please for the love of the time-keepers above, please don't tell him, you'll be accompanying us on missions from now on. You know Loki almost better than he knows himself an we need both of you. Please." Mobius pleads.
Sighing, you nod and try to glare at him, but ended up sadly smiling, you couldn't help it, you couldn't stay mad at Mobius, he was like an elder brother, or your best friend.
Smiling Mobius gets up and hugs you tightly, making you feel a bit better.
___
That night, you weren't able to sleep, thinking about every good memory you had when Loki-well OG Loki was still alive.
You and Loki baking, him dabbing frosting on your lips, before kissing it off, the boops, the damn boops that made you feel so warm and fuzzy on the inside.
When you first met- 2013
It was a normal day at Avengers Tower, you had just gotten back from a long undercover mission, you had heard about the new resident staying, God of Mischief.
Throwing your duffle bag on the carpet in the room and immediately showered, trying to scrubbing the blood and grime off, before you went downstairs to surprise the team.
Being a dramatic bitch, you decided to make an awesome entrance.
*Steve in the kitchen*
" Hey, Tony?" Steve said
"Yeah capsicle?"
"Why do  I hear boss music?" Steve says looking worried.
Suddenly the door's are kicked open, startling everyone.
" I'm BACK bitches!!!" you say while holding your arms out.( like how Loki does it)
Shriek and laughs and smiles later, you gather your courage and go up to Loki,
"Hi, I'm Y/n. Nice to meet you." you say smiling,
" Loki, of  Asgard, nice to meet you too." he says, taking your hand and kissing your knuckles.
And that was the day you fell for Loki Laufeyson.
~~
"- and what happens when a nexus event branches past red line?" Miss Minutes asks Loki.
Loki ignores her, reading Mobius's jet ski magazine.
"Come on Loki!" she says frowning
Sighing Loki looks at her before saying, " It's when the Tva, can no longer reset the nexus event." smiling smugly.
" and the collapse of reality as when we know it." she finishes.
"Can you here me? Are you a recording, or are you alive?" he asks.
"Uh--sorta both!" she answers.
Mischievously, he rolls up the magazine and starts swatting at the mascot, causing her to go back inside the computer.
Looking at him, from you're cubicle, you can't help but smile softly, it had been years since you had last seen that beautiful smile and you're heart was melting.
From his cubicle, he spotted you and waved, eyes slightly softening, he liked your company, you put up with his bullshit and you were fun at the same time.
Waving back, you can't help but blush when you realize he caught you staring, your blush made him smile more.
Suddenly Mobius appeared behind him, talking to him and giving him a jacket, before he called you over, to talk about the mission.
" Y/n there's been an attack, we need you to come with us." he said hurriedly.
~~
"We've grabbed enough temporal-aura to know it's our Loki variant, but we don't know which kind." Hunt says.
"The lesser kind, just to be sure." Loki butts in, making you snort.
He seemed pleased that he almost made you laugh.
" Ok, here's the deal, when we get out on the branch, we're not looking for a time criminal; we're looking Loki, a variation of this guy." Mobius says pointing to Loki, while projecting imaged of other Loki variants, each one getting weirder by the second.
"Apparently you won the Tour de France." you say nodding towards the hologram.
"Apparently." Loki says smiling.
"Not so slight, different powers, though powers include-Shape shifting, Illusion projection and Mind contr-" Mobius began.
"Duplication casting." You and Loki say in sync, turning to look at each other in surprise before looking back at the confused team.
"Illusion projection."
" No, they're two completely different powers." you began
"How Y/n?" Mobius asked.
" Professor Loki, would you like to answer that or would you like to answer?" you say, smirking at him
" You answer first." he says smirking back at you
"Illusion projection involved one depicting a detailed image from outside oneself which is perceptible in the external world." you began, Loki seemed impressed.
" While Duplication casting entails recreating an exact facsimile of one's own body in it's present circumstance which acts as a true holographic mirror of it's own molecular structure. But you already knew that." Loki finished.
" Not bad, Laufeyson." you said.
"Not bad yourself." He smiled.
" O-ok take a breath. Noted. Ok let's go. Everyone gear up" ( sometimes, I'm not going to follow the lines well, cuz i don't remember them.
Stepping out of the dressing room, you felt amazing, it had been a while since you wore gear and you didn't realize how much you missed it.
You also drew the attention of a certain blue-eyed, raven-haired god.
He couldn't take his eyes off you and you didn't know whether to feel happy or awkward.
Both.
Both.Yes.
Both is good.
Happy and Awkward.
---------
After everyone was geared up, you headed to your destination.
Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Year 1985.
After reaching there, Loki went up to Mobius, and they started discussing things about the Tva, stuff you honestly did not give a crap about.
Headed towards a tent, Loki and Mobius were having a conversation. Loki seemed to trust Mobius and that's weird, he never trusted anyone except you.
"Ok stop, this is not your Loki ok, this is someone different, don't screw the relationship you have with this guy"
After all you went inside, you instantly spotted a TVA helmet.
Someone was taken hostage. Hunter C-20
"He's taking hostages." Hunter began
" He's never taken hostage before." Mobius mused.
" Maybe's he upping his game" Hunter said
"or he pruned her." you interuppted.
" A Loki couldn't have taken the jump on C 20." Hunt said.
" I think you underestimate-" Loki began
" Fan out, search for her and hurry up because we're at three units until red-line." Hunter ordered.
"Come on Loki." Mobius began. You follow him. Looking back, you see Loki staring at the helmet.
" Wait." Loki calls out, everyone stopping dead in their tracks and looking at him.
" If you leave this tent, you'll end up just like them" he continues.
As Loki explains, you zone out again, focusing on his eyes, ocean blue, with specks of green and gold, making them look like the most beautiful ocean ever.
"Did you know, you have beautiful eyes?" you say, stroking Loki's cheek while staring into his eyes.
" Oh, I have beautiful eyes?" he smirks
" The most beautiful." you whisper before kissing him softly.
Pulling away, Loki looks into your eyes.
"Darling, you complement my eyes, when yours are clearly superior!" He said
1, " But Loki, they're brown, they're so plain, what do you mean they're pretty.?"
"Darling, you're eyes are so beautiful, they remind me of a glass of ale, the mud that makes the earth, your eyes represent earthquakes, that bring the biggest of the biggest mountains to kneel for them. I love your eyes, they make me feel home."
( sorry about that, that's for people with brown eyes, cuz I have brown eyes, and I don't see them appreciated enough, pls ignore if you don't have brown eyes)
"Y/n, Y/n snap out of it! Come on, we're going back." Mobius said, walking out, you follow him, slightly smiling at the fond memory.
After you come back, you immediately head to your room, shower and take a nap.

Thoughts on Loki, Ep1
Spoilers, obviously.
So I thought the first half was rather patchy, it couldn’t seem to settle on what tone it wanted to strike, and of course, our Loki was always on the receiving end of a whomping.
Loki went from frightened to sassy so fast it made my head spin and I was feeling kind of disappointed.
I have to say, I think the problem with the first half was that so much exposition had to be given for us to understand what was going on, and they were trying to make that less dull by injecting humour, but it was a little hit and miss.
Then in the second half it seemed to find its legs. It still had humour, but fewer gags and more importantly, it had heart.
Loki proved that he’s a force to be reckoned with and not even the mighty TVA can keep him prisoner. I did like his forcing the guard through time variances like she kept doing to him. You show ‘em, Loki!
But the real draw of the second half was the emotional reality. Finding those infinity stones just in a desk drawer, multiple copies of the most powerful forces in the universe, just sitting there, like they were nothing but paperweights.
Once again, Loki learns that his reality is a lie, but on a more conceptual level than finding out he was adopted. It’s not just his family, this time the entire universe does not work the way he thought it did.
Now at this point he’s free (ish) and could have just taken off for parts unknown, but he doesn’t do that. Instead he stays and goes back to what he knows, the greatest hits that Mobius was showing him, and he looks into what his future should have been.
And we finally have confirmation of what we Loki fans have known for a while, Loki is not evil, Loki is in pain and trying to protect him the best way he’s been taught, by making people fear him.
And he stays, not because they’re making him, but because he knows he can’t go back. He can’t even change the future that upsets him, because how? Just borrow a time stone paperweight? Yeah, clearly that’ll work against the TVA.
And so he stays.
And then we have confirmation of just how powerful Loki is. Sure, he broke free, and sure, he overpowered that officious guard, and sure, he could have run. And had this Loki chosen to run, he would have been a real threat to the TVA. So much so that the TVA can’t stop him and needs Loki to fight his variant! (from now on Loki is main character Loki, and Evil Loki is the variant they’re trying to stop).
Infinity stones? Pah! Evil Loki? Yeah, we need help!
And that confrontation really will be interesting.
Right now Loki is on the fence, he’s there because he has nowhere else to go, and while it’s his choice to stay and see what happens, he hasn’t exactly declared himself a warrior for truth, justice and the TVA way.
He’s rudderless right now and he could go either way. He could help the TVA and become a hero/anti-hero, or he could join forces with evil Loki, who you know is going to try and tempt him.
He has nothing keeping him good now, no family to disappoint, even those who are alive, he can’t see again because he’ll disrupt the timeline again.
But there’s nothing keeping him bad either, no Thanos backing him, no family to rebel against.
There’s just Loki.
It’s going to be interesting.
I am slightly disappointed that the greatest hits didn’t cover Loki’s time with Thanos. We know from Gamora and Nebula that his followers aren’t exactly willing, and I’d have liked even just a few more clues about what happened to turn Loki from “I want to die” after he fell from the bifrost, to “I want to rule the universe.” I know both Joss and Tom have said he went through hell which toughened him up, but what kind of hell?  I’m hoping this might be touched upon in the future but considering he’s only just finished attacking New York under Thanos’s orders, well this seems like it would have been a good time to mention if he was under any sort of duress.
Other thoughts.
The hooded figure took the time bomb (I’m assuming the devices they leave in variant timelines actually destroy that timeline, so I’m calling it a time bomb). Now that’s got to be pretty powerful.
The hooded figure at the ends collects the time bomb before the TVA minute men can use it. Could they, one or more, be powerful enough to destroy the TVA? Magic doesn’t work in the TVA, but they built the time bombs, to presumably they will work in  the TVA.
What happens when a variant timeline reaches red? Is it too late to destroy with a time bomb?
Is the hooded figure evil Loki? I think it may be Lady Loki and they’re just trying to keep the element of surprise. It could also be Richard E Grant, who, as I’ve said before, I think will be old man Loki.
Is there more than one Evil Loki?
Mephisto. Is Evil Loki Mephisto? Is he working with Mephisto? I don’t know. I don’t much care either. I’m happy to wait and see. Traditionally in many religions with multiple gods, the trickster gods were the devil characters, so it wouldn’t upset me if Evil Loki was revealed to be the devil, or at least who we based the devil on. Then of course we have the debate, is Loki just making himself look like our red horned images of the devil using magic, or did we base our depictions of the devil on Evil Loki? That’s a chicken and egg debate that could last for years.
Then again maybe the kid just mean he was the devil because he was killing people, which is evil, and the devil is evil?
Eh, this Mephisto/devil thing doesn’t particularly inspire me, I’m more interested in seeing Loki vs Evil Loki, because you know it won’t just be a fight, and it won’t even be just an external fight. It’s the character development that comes from that clash which will be the most interesting thing, I think. And knowing Loki and his trickster nature, he’s going to keep us guessing for a while to come about whether he’s going to fight on the side of good, or evil. In fact, thanks to his mercurial nature, I’d say that was something we will never be 100% sure of.
So yeah, I enjoyed it.
Also, nice six-pack, Tom.

Chapter 4
Chapter 4: Mobius M. Mobius
Prologue:
Tumblr media
The man in the suit walked a bit ahead of them as they trailed behind “They offer you a position to work with them?” Loki asked looking ahead with a low voice “Affirmative. I'm assuming you also?” (Name) asked in a low voice also “Mmhmm… however, something doesn’t feel right about this place” Loki confessed.
They continued to walk and (Name) too the time to look him up and down and held an amused smile, Loki arched a brow and looked at her “What’s so funny?” “Nothing just odd to see you in that. You look so normal, granted a prisoner uniform of sorts. But so normal” she chuckled “I mean you’re a quote on quote “god” so seeing you so ordinary is just odd that’s all” “Keep amusing yourself darling” he said rolling his eyes at her “In all fairness miss the whole god like Asgardian attire” she mocked lightly. Loki gave her a small smile then smirked “won’t change the fact I could kill you right now if it were for this suppressor” “So you are just an ordinary man, give or take 5,000 years?” “I am not that old. I’m 1,048” Loki exclaimed, almost offended.
They finally arrived at this large door. Walking in it was a conference room with a large oval table. Loki and (Name) shared a look with one another  as the man in the suit asked them to take a seat, the two prisoners sat side by side “Now let me understand something. Looking through your personal files there’s no mentions of you two ever meeting. However it’s a little tricky with multiple timelines that had recently been created…” spoke the man “Sorry to interject just now but. What even is your name?” (Name) asked him “Oh my apologizes Mobius M. Mobius” he introduced himself before getting back to talking “so I want to know the chemistry you both displayed before you capture...it’s unheard of, unforeseeable” “With all due respect agent M. but when two people are in life or death situations it is natural to try and work together and get out hopefully alive.” (Name) held her expressionless look “Well say what you like but there was chemistry no doubt.”  Mobius shrugged “The idea is that we have you both work for us, (Name) would serve as more of a babysitter for you, Loki. Your reputation is known to be wavering on your alliances, and proved so in your possible futures?” “I beg your pardon?” Loki asked now engaging in the conversation and a bit offended of the suggestion of him needing a babysitter.
“If you look at this hologram projector this was you up till now, 2012. Captured by the avengers and was to be taken to your location point; for Odin’s judgment back on your home world, Asgard. However, 2018 from 2023… things go downhill from 2018 onward” Mobius spoke with grim in his voice.
Both Loki and (Name) watch Loki’s original future unfold. Loki being sent to life imprisonment, the Almother dying protecting Thor’s girlfriend, Jane. Loki’s first ‘death’ as he takes over Asgard; send Odin onto Midgard in a retirement home. Thor and Loki get Odin, but the Alfather dies. They find out they have a sister, goddess of death, Hela. The day of Ragnarok and the end of Asgard and lastly Loki’s second and final death, by Thanos’ hands- “The sun will shine on us again, brother-”
“That’s enough!” (Name) slammed her hands on the desk.
Loki stared at her in confusion. Although it was a hard pill to swallow to know he lost so much and despite trying to redeem himself it was short lived. But the death of his mother was the most effective one. Loki for once was silent. “That’s enough! You claim to hold balance and here you are showing him his ‘true’ future!” she yelled “the repercussions are absolute! Showing his future he will now try to prevent it as soon as you allow him to step foot out!” “Now agent (Name). Loki’s death is in a way a fixed point. It needs to happen. He is one of the biggest threats of the T.V.A and the multiverse time continuum. As long as Loki ceases to exist in 2018 it does not matter what time, day or location all that matters is that he is dead” Mobius explained calmly “That’s obscured! Granted Loki is dangerous, but surely he was shown to change his ways. In the end he chose to save his people of Asgard-” “He gave Thanos the space infinity stone!” Mobius spoke with a raised voice “To save his people!” (Name) snapped
Loki watched as this Midgardian woman fought for his future self. It shocked him, although aware that in this moment; he was not that person that had redeemed himself. But seeing someone genuinely fight for him brought a sense of warmth that he felt from only his mother. “So let me get this straight Mr. Mobius. If I take your proposition and conditions, you will have me get rid of other threats to the multiverse timeline, that is too hard to do yourselves. Inevitably after that you’d send me back to my time of 2012, to follow the said script and die of Thanos’ hand...and if I don’t I’d be a wanted man” Silence (Name) gave Loki an exacerbated look which he returned a look to tell her to trust him. Clenching her jaw tight she sat back down “More or less...but there is a catch” “Go on” (Name) hissed out “Well the end game is that you both kill Thanos… before he collects the stones but we would still have to kill you in 2018”
-
-
“Here are you. Your uniforms” Mobius spoke, handing them both a pile of clothing “before you get changed and we take off the restraints we do need to do one little procedure...follow me” Loki and (Name) walk with Mobius and walk into what looked like a medical bay. The two weren’t sure but they were seated in these chairs and automatic metal restraints came up. The two started to struggle in their seat “We already said we join this stupid organization” snapped Loki “Oh we know. But we need to put a space and time GPS bio-implant to make sure to track both of your whereabouts at all time... through time and space” Mobius explained as two people in white walked over to them and started to inject some kind of thing in their forearms.
Once the whole procedure was done the two changed into their uniforms in their separate change rooms while Mobius waited for them outside. When they finished up and in their new uniform; khaki trousers, blue button up and a dark navy tie and black closed shoes. Loki was wearing a T.V.A tan coat while (Name)’s was being tied around her waist as she rolled up her sleeves “The trousers are hideous” (Name) mumbled out “Agreed” Loki said quietly, giving a small smile. She looked at him with a raised brow. She wasn’t sure why he was smiling ‘he’s planning something’ she thought. She looked to Mobius as he started to show them around the compound. (Name) was emotionless as she was lost in thought until she hear Loki’s smooth voice “You remind me of someone back on Asgard” Loki quietly “Hopefully not a lover of yours. Wouldn’t want to damage your ego when I turn you down” she said half jokingly “Oh gods no, she is a very strong warrior” Loki chuckled “and don’t flatter yourself, I would never stoop so low to fall for some Midgardian wench” “I’ll ignore that last part. I’m surprised honestly, from what Asgard has been described and what has been on your file Asgard seems so medievalesque. So I’m surprised a woman would be allowed to fight. Given the whole prim and proper attitudes” she said rather casually. Loki stared at her a little baffled by her sudden friendly and casual attitude “It’s not common but is accepted we- people of Asgard tend to overlook gender and focus on your abilities as an individual.” (Name) took notice of his hesitation and frowned lightly. Their conversation fell for a moment. “Your file says Asgardian. You were raised as any other Asgardian, jötunn or not you are Asgardian.”  (Name) said with a small shrug “but what do I know, I am just a Midgardian”

MCU Loki: Speculations on the “Loki” series
So, for the fun of it I’m gonna speculate on the whole “Loki” series.
For start Time Variance Authority.
In the comic the TVA seems to represent the lawful alignment. It doesn’t mean it will do the same in the “Loki” series, Marvel sometimes change things but let’s pretend they left this unchanged.
Before you start thinking this is a good thing, let’s remember the lawful alignment doesn’t define the moral axis of something, merely the ethical one. General Thunderbolt Ross and the Krees can be considered as lawful as Captain America and Rhodey, only the first two are lawful evil while the last two are lawful good.
Karl Mordo in “Doctor Strange” instead moves from lawful good to lawful evil.
For the TVA what matters are the rules. They are, of course, sure that respecting the rules is a good thing, and if this requires to wipe out an entire temporal line… well, no problem of theirs.
In short the TVA are your sort of guys who might decide that no, the Avengers shouldn’t have gone back in time and hamper with the timeline and save half of the universe because… it’s against their rules.
Here they seem worried that Loki has changed things. I would argue that it’s the Avengers that went back in the past and change things but let’s explore what it means if Loki didn’t met up the same fate as the one of the ordinary timeline.
Well, for start the Bifrost doesn’t get repaired as Thor used the Tesseract to repair it.
This might mean that, for start the Nine Realms will have to do without Asgard’s protection but, in more MCU terms that Thor won’t be able to go back home. There’s to wonder if he’ll manage to make peace with Jane and reach for her when she will be possessed by the Aether.
If he doesn’t, as a result, the Aether can fall more easily in Malekit’s hands, who will attack Earth directly instead than Asgard.
We might not end up having Thanos because the Dark Elves win and wipe away people themselves, turning the whole series in a variation of “War of realms”.
Okay, no, I don’t think we’ll get “War of realms” but it’s a pity.
What I wonder if the fact that they have Loki and Moebius interact is because one is chaotic and the other is lawful and the theme of the story is going to be this.
Chaotic again, isn’t necessarily evil, it only means you don’t respect the rules.
Scott Lang from “Ant-Man” is chaotic good for example. The Vulture from “Spider Man Homecoming” is chaotic evil.
Same as Karl Mordo Loki tends to change his moral axis at need. Prior to “Thor” he’s chaotic good, in “The Avengers” he’s Chaotic evil, in “Avengers: Infinity War” he’s back on being Chaotic good again.
So the whole show can open the discussion of how respecting or not rules should be tied to moral values. We shouldn’t respect a law aimed at hurting others… but we shouldn’t break law carelessly either as there will be consequences.
For example…. There’s a scene showing Loki in Pompeii.
Should the people in the city be warned mount Somma (yeah, it’s mount Somma which erupted, what will remain of it after the eruption will be named Vesuvius) is about to erupt and therefore saved or should we let them all die because, after all, their death is kind of already happened from Loki and Mobius perspective?
It’s a question that, in a way, was opened and ignored in “Avengers: Endgame”. The Avengers decide to save all the people that were blipped away by Thanos… but what about the ones he killed previously?
The half of Asgardian refugees, Heimdall, Loki, the dwarves on Nidavellir, the people on Xandar he wiped away to get the power stone, the people that die in the battle of New York, that was still caused by Thanos even if he didn’t oversee it personally, Gamora’s family and people?
Thor arrives in Asgard and is forced to face that most of the people there will be dead… would it have been really bad if he warned them against Hela so that more could survive? If he saved his mom and then asked her to find an alternate way to get the same ending with the Dark Elves only this time it doesn’t include her dying?
It’s questions worth making because they touch our moral axis as, if we do nothing, we let those people die/dead.
For a greater good? How can we know the result and for who’s the greater good? For us?
So anyway this has the potential to be cool, because when the lines on the moral axis blur and you don’t know anymore if something is good or evil, the decisions are taken by the ethical axis.
And someone lawful would just say ‘the law says so therefore letting those people die has to be the good choice’ while someone chaotic would say ‘screw the law, it can’t be good, I’m gonna save my mom and worry about consequences later’.
And this is awesome material for a story.
Though, of course, they can also take inspiration from “Agent of Asgard” in which old Loki, despite thinking that nothing would change even if Loki were to try to be good, still changed the past so that Loki could have a better chance at life and could make a more informed decision in the end.
(the scene of Loki’s decision is “Agent of Asgard” is AWESOME and way better than whatever redemption arc the MCU came up with by the way so I’m all to get that if they do the appropriate work)
Going on.
In the comics Mobius is a bureaucrat, cloned for his job and who knows nothing else but it.
Of course Marvel can portray him differently but let’s assume they’ll run with this.
So it can be that for Mobius everything is just ‘data’ and people are merely ‘entities’ and this not because he’s evil but because that’s how he has been taught to live.
He studied all of Loki’s life, but that’s it, for him they probably were data, not someone’s life, just a list of facts with no emotional value attached.
Studying Loki’s life is a job, and he might dedicate to it with the same mind setting of a student studying Caesar’s life.
He might not stop to wonder how painful the stabbing was, how horrible it could have been to see that his son was among the stabbers, how desperately he attempted to protect himself as he tried to flee and how brutal the others were as they continued to stab him even when he fell and lay there defenceless.
All he might care for is he died in 15 March 44 BC, attacked by around 60 men and stabbed 23 times, one of the stabs given by Brutus and that’s it. And then on March 15th put on Tumblr a stabbed Caesar salad and joke on his death because, by now Caesar is no more viewed as a person, just as a historical record.
For Mobius Loki might be just a record and even if Loki sits in front of him, he’s no more than data and someone to use. If Mobius gets an arc in which he develops he might learn to view Loki as a person, which doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll stop being lawful.
He might learn to feel sorry for him but still say ‘but the law says this is it’ or he might shift his ethical axis.
It would still be an interesting plot.
And for Loki too there’s potential for things to be interesting because he might, for once, to feel in control.
Most of Loki’s life is dictated by him not being in control.
He didn’t get to decide to be a Frost Giant, picked up by Odin, raised by an Asgardian and revealed the truth too late. He didn’t get to decide to be the less favoured son and he came to believe nothing he would do would make him worthy in Odin’s eyes. He was sent by Thanos to conquer Earth, manipulated by the sceptre. And now the TVA has captured him and they’re forcing him to cooperate.
If he’s given the power to affect the past he might grow to believe he’s actually not forced to submit to other people’s choices but that he’s in control of his fate.
It’s part of the point of “Agent of Asgard”.
Old Loki came to believe no matter what he did, he couldn’t change things, he would always be the ‘god of lies’, but the Loki of “Agent of Asgard” instead decided he would be something else and became the master of his own fate.
It would be a good development.
Of course, I’ve not the slightest idea if Marvel will go according to this route.
There’s really too little to judge and I’ll admit I won’t like it much if the point is not so much to save Loki but save Lady Loki because, no offence to Lady Loki who might have an even worse past than Loki, but it’s Loki the character I grew to love and I wish would be saved.
Last but not least, as I feared the whole ‘You've literally stabbed people in the back like fifty times’ quote produced a lot of discussing when it shouldn’t have.
Like, we miss most of the content but, from the look of it, it’s not like Loki, on his own, decided to pay a visit to the TVA and to help them. They captured him, he even though they wanted to kill him, they very likely forced him to cooperate.
Now, in this case any guy with an ounce of brain does what Tony did when he was held captive by the Ten Rings and they asked him to build them weapons if they don’t want to end tortured or killed. They say ‘yes’, gain their trust and then build a Iron-Man suit behind their back with whom they can stab them. In the back, yeah, because that’s what people with a modicum intelligence and no magic hammer should do with guys who overpower them and held them captive.
It’s a basic survival skill, not a proof you’re untrustworthy. People don’t own captors to be trustworthy to them and this message must never be allowed to pass.
You has to be trustworthy with people who deserve it, not with people who force you to be subservient.
So yeah, I hope Loki will stab the TVA in the back because no matter how lawful an righteous they feel, they clearly impose to everyone their law and no matter how much they claim they make the world better, they’re clearly sacrificing people.

Marvel’s Loki Episode 3: MCU Easter Eggs and References
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
This article contains Marvel’s Loki episode 3 spoilers.
Marvel’s Loki episode 3 is a big one. It’s the first episode of the series to spend the entirety of its runtime outside of the TVA offices, the first where we get to spend a substantial amount of time with the mysterious Sylvie, and the coolest visit to an extraterrestrial location we’ve had in the MCU since Avengers: Endgame.
It’s a big one, and there’s lots of cool MCU things you might have missed, or might not know about from the pages of Marvel Comics…and more!
Here’s what we found in Marvel’s Loki episode 3.
Lamentis
The planet Lamentis was introduced in the pages of Annihilation: Conquest Prologue (the very story that established the modern incarnation of the Guardians of the Galaxy). It exists on the outer rim of the Kree empire and is filled with scavengers trying to gather scarce resources via force. The Phyla-Vell version of Quasar and Moondragon were there to help keep the peace, mainly protecting a sect of pacifist priests from those who would take their stuff.
But to be clear, the events of Loki episode 3 take place on Lamentis-1, a moon of Lamentis, and it’s the planet itself that is breaking up and crashing into the moon, not the other way around.
Interestingly, while the lighting choices for this episode were most definitely a very specific story choice (more on that in a minute), it’s also in keeping with the way Lamentis was colored in its only comic book appearance.
Sylvie, Lady Loki, The Enchantress
We don’t get a TON of clarity on the nature of Sophia Di Martino’s Loki variant, but despite her “Sylvie” name, the balance is tipping further in the direction of her being a true “Lady Loki” and not strictly the Sylvie Lushton version of Enchantress from Marvel Comics (we wrote more about this confusing distinction here).
That being said, she’s not NOT Sylvie/Enchantress, either! It seems that Sylvie is indeed a variant Loki (recent merchandise reveals have officially shown that she is “Sylvie Laufeydottir” (as opposed to “Loki Laufeyson”)  so that’s another sign that she’s truly a variant of our Loki. For some reason (probably a good one) she doesn’t want to be known as a Loki anymore, hence “Sylvie,” and she does use enchantments as a primary power, hence “Enchantress.”
So the answer here is still “yes” to any of these questions, but we’re leaning on the simplest explanation being the correct one: she’s a Loki variant, and in true MCU fashion they’re just mashing up other elements of mythology from the comics to make a cool new character.
There’s also some serious Moonlighting energy between the hedonistic Loki and the more serious and on-mission Sylvie all through this episode, but we’re wondering how many of you are even old enough to remember Moonlighting, and that is depressing.
The Loki/Enchantress-appropriate green tie-dye that Sylvie is rocking in the bar “flashback” is pretty cool, but not an Easter egg. But maybe we should bring tie-dye back this summer.
Loki is Bisexual
The “bisexual lighting” that Lamentis is bathed in throughout the entirety of the episode is no accident, as it’s revealed that both Loki and Sylvie are bisexual. Loki director Kate Herron spoke briefly about this reveal on Twitter, as well:
From the moment I joined @LokiOfficial it was very important to me, and my goal, to acknowledge Loki was bisexual. It is a part of who he is and who I am too. I know this is a small step but I’m happy, and heart is so full, to say that this is now Canon in #mcu #Loki 💗💜💙 pic.twitter.com/lz3KJbewx8
— Kate Herron (@iamkateherron) June 23, 2021
As far as we can tell, in terms of the comics, Loki’s bisexuality first came up in Young Avengers #15. After saving the world and getting a bit of a pep talk from Prodigy, a late-teen incarnation of Loki hit on his teammate for the sake of celebration, but was ultimately turned down.
“My culture doesn’t really share your concept of sexual identity,” Loki said in that issue. “There are sexual acts, that’s it. I’m actually the patron god of certain popular ones, believe it or not.” (some very cursory research fails to confirm that last point, which would really be perfectly in keeping for Loki to lie about)
“Another!”
When partying up on the train, Loki smashes his empty glass and excitedly asks for another. This is exactly what his brother does in the first Thor movie after enjoying a cup of coffee at a diner. It’s an Asgardian custom!
The Songs
The song that opens the episode is “Demons” by Hayley Kiyoko, which also includes some potentially Loki-specific lines as “Please forgive me, I’ve got demons in my head, tryin’ to eat me, tryin’ to feed me lies until I’m dead.”
The song that closes the episode is “Dark Moon,” a 1957 country hit by Bonnie Guitar (there are other versions, including a rare one by Elvis Presley and a really cool one by Chris Isaak for the soundtrack of the very cool and underrated A Perfect World, but the version here is Bonnie’s). It’s a little on-the-nose with the events happening on Lamentis, but also features haunting lyrics that may hint at something more: “Mortals have dreams of love’s perfect schemes, but they don’t realize that love will sometimes bring a…Dark Moon.”
Does anyone know the name of the song that Loki sings while he’s “full?” If so, please let us know in the comments!
The TVA
The mobile devices that TVA agents use to navigate through timelines are given a name in this episode: TemPads.
We get a couple more bits of important TVA context this episode. The first is that apparently the Time Keepers reside at the top floor accessible by a golden elevator in the TVA offices. When Hunter C-20 said she “gave up the location” of the Time Keepers last week, who could have expected the answer to be so simple?
Additionally, Sylvie reveals at episode’s end that all TVA employees had a life prior to joining the TVA. In fact, every TVA worker was at some point a Variant just like Loki and Sylvie. This directly contradicts Miss Minutes’ claim that the TVA employees were created by the Time Keepers to police the Sacred Timeline. This may mean that Mobius was also lying to Loki about the nature of TVA agents…UNLESS…in the comics, Mobius was one of many Mobiuses, because the TVA engaged in “managerial cloning” for their best representatives, while employing “freelancers” for other work. Perhaps Mobius was telling Loki his truth, while Sylvie’s theory about the Variants being conscripted into service as Minutemen is ALSO true.
During the end credits, there’s a collection of TVA file photos on a desk, showing Loki and Sylvie together. Apparently, they’re getting their images from their exploits from Lamentis-1, as one photo is specifically Loki as a train guard. Looks like these two aren’t as hidden from the authorities as they realized.
Miscellaneous Time Variants
Funny enough, the shot of Loki landing after being thrown out of the train is framed to look exactly like when Loki fell out of Doctor Strange’s portal in Thor: Ragnarok.
The two soldiers at the entrance to the train are called Corporal Hicks and Private Hudson which is a neat nod to Michael Biehn and Bill Paxton’s characters in Aliens!
The guards on Lamentis look kind of like they’re wearing Cobra uniforms, don’t they?
There’s a serious Snowpiercer vibe to that “rich folks getting on a train to escape a natural disaster/apocalypse while the poor are left to suffer and die.” Wait, that is actually a real life vibe, too.
If episode 2 was a police procedural, this episode is very much “peak TV,” right down to its use of an obscure needledrop to end the episode coming out of an elaborate “one take” action sequence. Daredevil no longer has a monopoly on those in Marvel TV, it would seem.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });

Summary:
After clearing up all the misunderstandings, trust restored, Mobius and Loki finally meet again only to lose each other in the most tragic way. But sometimes everything is not what it seems and their bond is stronger than anything.
Notes:
Follows this time the episode 4 until the end. But I'm an incurable romantic who loves hope and happy endings, so don't worry everything is possible for our boys.

Part 10 of The Story of Loki and Mobius
Tumblr media
"I’ve heard it once, I’ve heard it a thousand times. You. You conniving, craven, pathetic worm. You did this."
He knew he was pathetic. Mobius had made it clear to him just before throwing him back into this hellish time frame. Forced to repeat again and again that he deserved to be alone to avoid taking a blow in the crotch. Which importance since it was true?
He suspected that Mobius would be angry with him. After all, he had betrayed him in some way. But he had the impression of having had another Mobius in front of him. No more understanding, no more caring eyes. As if everything had disappeared.
" If you’re not working for the Variant, what is it?"
In retrospect, it was mostly from this question that it had gotten out of hand. It was the first time that Loki had seen Mobius being so uncharacteristically mean, and if Loki hadn't been hurt, he would have found it comical.
Why had Mobius insisted on knowing what was going on between Sylvie and him when the first time he had asked Loki the question, Loki had given a clear answer?
"You’re partners?"
"Absolutely not. She’s difficult and irritating, and she tries to hit me all the time. No."
"Not partners, no. Yeah, I guess you don’t do partners. Unless, of course, it benefits you, and you intend to betray them at some point."
Of course he had betrayed Mobius when he had walked through the door, but what had begun to germinate between him and Mobius, had been valuable to him and had not been a means to an end.
The conversation had gotten worse, each one spitting his venom, Mobius had managed to manipulate him and Loki had almost had respect for that. But he had become cruel. Loki still wondered what had made Mobius lash out so much.
"Come on. Look at your eyes. You like her."
"You like her. Does she like you? No wonder you have no clue what caused the nexus event on Lamentis. Both of you are swooning over each other."
"Two Variants of the same being, especially you, forming this kind of sick, twisted romantic relationship. That’s pure chaos. That could break reality. It’s breaking my reality right now."
On second thought, what did Mobius mean by that? How did it break his reality?
How could Mobius think that Loki and Sylvie...After what he and Loki had shared!
And yet when Loki thought about the rest of the conversation it became clearer and clearer.
"What a incredible seismic narcissist. You fell for yourself."
"Her name was Sylvie."
"Ah, Sylvie. Lovely. How do you spell that? Is that with an I-E or just an I?"
"Now, I’m supposed to believe your girlfriend."
"It’s the truth. She’s not my girlfriend."
"Whatever you want to call her. What, your female self that you have some demented crush on…"
"You two, what a pair! Gosh! Unbelievable. Wherever you go, it’s just death, destruction, the literal ends of worlds. Well, I’m gonna have to close this case now, ’cause I don’t need you anymore."
Mobius had been jealous!  It was so obvious! Mobius had been completely blinded by jealousy!
After all he had said to him, these last insults made no sense.
He remembered their last conversation, the last words he had spoken when Loki had expressed his doubts.
"But you told me I was born to cause pain and suffering and death. That's how it is, that's how it was, that's how it will be. All so that others can achieve their best versions of themselves."
Mobius had answered him, "Yes, I told you that not because I think that's what you are, I was just showing you that that's what you were limiting yourself to because you yourself think you're only capable of that. Because you want to rule so badly, that you don't see that you are made for bigger things. You asked me to trust you yesterday. I did because Loki I have faith in you and since you've been here you keep proving it. In your own way. Because you are undoubtedly the god of mischief. Unique. Not. A. Villain."
How could the man who had told him that, now tell him the opposite? The more he thought about it, the more jealousy seemed to be the only reason.
Loki knew jealousy, he could even understand it. But that Mobius felt this way about Loki? What did that mean?
Loki sighed.
What a mess! How could he repair an already fragile relationship in the midst of all this mess? He really had a way of getting himself into complicated situations...
"Right?" he was exclaiming, exasperated when Mobius rushed through the door, "What are you doing?"
Idiot, what do you think when I try every two minutes not to get hit in the crotch?
Loki held back from saying out loud what he was thinking because he had just noticed that Mobius looked upset and very flustered.
He just answered dryly, because he was still hurt from what Mobius had told him before.
"Passing the time."
Mobius asked him in an urgent tone, "Do you care about her?"
What? That kind of question again?
Loki replied, "Sylvie? I'm not sure if it's the right word. We've covered this back in there."
When Mobius began to shout, visibly annoyed.
"Shut up!"
Loki was shocked that he would raise his voice like that, so he kept quiet.
Mobius said, hurriedly, "Do you really think you deserve to be alone?
Huh?
Loki did not answer, his voice shut down by shock.
How could he ask him such a question? Why?
Mobius lost his patience again, "Loki!
"You told me to shut up."
Mobius repeated, "Do you believe you deserve to be alone?
Loki replied in frustration, "I don't know."
"You better figure it out quick, because the nexus event the two of you caused, whatever that connection is, can bring this whole place down. So we better understand..."
We? We as in him and me? Did Mobius still believe in a we?
"We?" asked Loki, incredulous.
Mobius looked troubled, almost sad, Loki dared to think, that he had asked that question, but he continued on his line of questioning, "Do you swear she didn't implant those memories in Hunter C-20?"
He wanted Mobius to believe him so badly, he almost begged, "Mobius, no. I believe her."
Mobius seemed to give in and suddenly Loki felt like he had his Mobius back, his prince. There was again that sparkle in his eyes that he loved so much.
He asked, "So, I just have to trust the word of two Lokis?"
Loki swallowed, and decided that this time it was his turn to offer his hand. He said a little timidly but no less determinedly, looking at Mobius with his head to the side, "How about the word of a friend?"
Mobius looked genuinely surprised, then exhaled softly, as if in relief, before continuing, "You were right, about the TVA. You were right from the beginning. And if you wanna save her, you need to trust me. Can we do that?"
He didn't wait to agree, because despite everything, his trust in Mobius had remained unshaken.
Mobius sighed again, and this time the relief was obvious.
"Okay."
Mobius continued at once, "You could be whoever, whatever you wanna be, even someone good."
Loki's throat tightened with so much emotion that he was unable to respond.
Then Mobius added, "I mean, just in case anyone ever told you different."
Loki couldn't hold back the smile that blossomed on his lips as Mobius walked towards the Timedoor. If he wasn't already in love with Mobius, he would have fallen in love right then and there.
However he couldn't just let him go like that. Not without talking about what he'd just discovered, because Loki knew exactly what it felt like when your whole world was crumbling under your feet and he didn't want Mobius to follow the same path as him.
He pulled him by the sleeve.
"Mobius, wait!"
"What? Is something wrong?" asked Mobius, turning around.
"Is something wrong? I'm not the one who was just told that his whole life, what he was fighting for, the world he lived in, was a lie! Believe me, I know what that feels like! So this is me asking you, how are you Mobius?"
He saw the realization of the magnitude of what he had discovered suddenly fall upon Mobius. He saw him lose his footing and literally collapse from the shock.
He helped him to sit down on the floor and while encouraging him to regain a normal breathing rhythm, he asked him, "Mobius, I need to know, first if you can close the time door and second, I need to know how time flows here?
Mobius closed the door with a gesture and replied with a broken voice, "In this cell, it's as if time doesn't flow outside, so no matter how long we spend here, it will take Ravonna and the Hunters a little while to find us."
"Good."
After a few moments of silence, Mobius spoke up, "You know what torments me most now that I know? I wonder if I'm real. Is what I have experienced real? And if what I believe or have believed, was it real for a moment?"
Loki's heart broke as he heard this. The most real man he had ever known was wondering if he was real.
Loki tried to reassure him and seeing that he was not convinced, he showed him by thought with the help of magic, what made him real in his eyes. He showed him all the intimate moments they had shared, the first time Mobius had said he believed in Loki, their first kiss, the second, all the moments of happiness Mobius had given him since their first meeting. And he told him.
For the first time Loki witnessed Mobius' insecurities and for the first time Loki was the one who could reassure him.
Mobius asked him, his voice slightly hoarse, "If this is all fake, then who am I really?"
Loki replied with a smile, "We'll search together."
They had remained entwined for a few moments before walking through the Timedoor together, ready to face their enemies, whoever they were.
Loki and Mobius were smiling at each other, when they were stopped by Ravonna and a group of hunters with their batons pointed at them.
In a daze, not realizing what was happening, Loki saw Mobius handing over his Tempad to Ravonna and there was a moment of silence.
Then Mobius spoke with emotion in his voice, "You know where I'd go if I could go anywhere? Wherever it is I'm really from. Yeah, wherever I had a life before the TVA came along. Maybe I had a jet ski. That's what I'd like to do. Just riding around on my jet ski."
As he spoke, Loki had been watching him, not wanting to understand what was going to happen when suddenly Ravonna's icy voice enunciated two simple words, " Prune him!"
And there before his eyes, Mobius disintegrated.
"Noooo!!"
Mobius! Mobius!
Loki had only this thought, only this name in mind as the hunters dragged him to the elevator.
As they waited, Loki tried to contain the emotion that threatened to overwhelm him like a tsunami.
Mobius, snatched away from him when they had only just found each other!
Another group arrived and went next to them, it was Sylvie who was also held back by hunters.
Sylvie looked at him and asked, "You're okay?"
Loki lowered his head, and answered her in his head.
'No, I'm not okay, I'll never be okay again. They took Mobius. They took him from me, Sylvie.'
'Loki, I need you, I can't fight on my own, I swear I understand your pain, I promise you, you know I know you like I know myself, but I need you, please!'
'Am I only condemned to have those I love and who love me ripped away from me?'
'No Loki, I promise you that this is not your fate. Please, I need you! "
Loki clenched his fists, and walked with the others to the elevator.
Loki tell me you are with me!
He raised his head.
I'm with you.
For Mobius, he had to finish what they had started.
For Mobius, who had always had faith in him, he would fight.
For Mobius, who had seen good in him, he would keep going.
At Sylvie's side, they entered the battle, fighting fiercely to face the Timekeepers, Ravonna and the other hunters on the ground.
One of the Timekeepers tried to provoke Sylvie, "You're a child of the Time-Keepers too, Sylvie. We can talk."
"Oh, yeah?" Sylvie threw her sword, which sent the middle Timekeeper's head flying. The head rolled to Loki's foot. As Sylvie was about to throw her sword again, Loki stopped her. He couldn't believe what he was holding in his hands.
"Fake. Mindless androids. It never stops."
Loki breathed heavily, then asked, "Then who created the TVA?
"I thought this was it."
"Sylvie..." Loki had to tell her something. He had wasted too much time. It had cost him Mobius. He had to tell her.
"Not another pep talk, please." begged Sylvie.
"No, I have to tell you something. We will figure this out."
It was his job to tell her that, he was the one who was able to cheer now. He was the one who was strong. Sylvie and Mobius had made him strong, Sylvie by showing him that he could love himself and Mobius by showing him that he could love and be loved by others.
"How do you know that?"
"Because, uh... Well, back on Lamentis... This is new for me. Um..." Why on earth was he still unable to express himself when it came to emotion.
He tentatively put his hands on her shoulders in an awkward motion.
She looked at him strangely, "What? What is it?"
Then...
Nothing.
He woke up with the sensation of a graze on his face.
He opened his eyes.
"You!"
His Mobius, leaning over him, was running his fingertips over his face and looking at him with so much love in his eyes.
This time he could not hold back his tears and they quickly overflowed from his eyes.
"You have been disintegrated! I saw it with my own eyes!"
Mobius wiped his tears with his thumbs as he went along. He still answered with a smile.
"You too."
"Where are we?"
He looked around, and a strange landscape appeared before his eyes as he straightened up. A strange mix of Asgard and a beach in the sun, between sky and earth. As if two worlds were colluding.
Both their worlds, his and Mobius'.
He finally got up and found himself facing Mobius who was waiting.
Their eyes met and carried away by the urge, they threw themselves into each other's arms and kissed passionately, putting all their emotions into the kiss. It was so right and so perfect.
When they parted panting, Loki pressed his forehead to Mobius' and whispered, "Don't leave me, don't ever leave me, promise me."
Mobius shook his head and moved back a little. "I can't promise you that, Loki, not yet. We're going to have to part again, you know that don't you? Our task is not over."
Loki's throat tightened, "Mobius, what? no?"
"I got here before you, so I'll have to leave before you."
A glow began to spread behind Mobius.
He began to speak very quickly, "Loki, listen to me! I am not dead, I am not gone. When you wake up, think of me. I am still here. You'll have to find me. We will break the curse that separates us! Our love is stronger than anything, no hell, no heaven, no time keepers, no one will separate us! I swear to you that we will find each other. Don't ever lose your faith! I will always have faith in you."
Then Mobius placed his lips on his, kissed him softly before stepping back and walking towards the vortex that had just opened, he looked back one last time, "Loki, we will find each other again because what binds us is stronger than anything. I love you."
The vortex closed on him.
Loki was alone again.
He was stunned, Mobius' words echoing in his head.
He wiped away his tears, then sat on the ground and waited.
Looking at the landscape in front of him, he imagined that one day he would take Mobius to see Asgard and that Mobius would take him to one of those sunny beaches he saw on his Jet-ski magazine and laugh at him on his jet ski.
Then he put those uncertain dreams away in the back of his mind. He would have to fight the fight of his life. He would have to fight for his family. His thoughts went to Sylvie and Mobius.
A few minutes later the same vortex opened. Loki stood up, clenched his fists, and walked toward the vortex, saying with a very resolute face, "I'm going to find you. Mobius, Sylvie, wait for me!"
He went through the vortex.
Then nothing. Again.
Suddenly he gasped as if to catch his breath after holding it for so long.
He opened his eyes and asked, "Is this Hel? Am I dead?"
A deep voice rose from above him, "Not yet. But you will be unless you come with us."
He stood up and faced what seemed to be three, no four if he was to judge by the crocodile, four versions of Loki.
Behind them, an apocalyptic New York was unveiling.
That's when he realized, what Mobius had said was true. They were not dead. If Loki wasn't dead, then Mobius wasn't either.
And as he followed the Lokis, only one thought swirled in his mind, one word.
Mobius.
This time he was no longer overcome with despair, this time in him strong and fighting there was a hope born of love.
Mobius wait for me! I come to you! I will find you!

Name: Ronic
Nickname: The Blue Comet
Species: Hedgehog
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Height / Weight: 3’2” / 35kg
Affiliation: Hero
Personality:
Ronic is the most kind hearted, selfless and friendliest hedgehog you’ll meet, always running around and helping others wherever he goes. Although a little naïve, Ronic is always willing to help out anyone he meets for no reward, be it rescuing them or being someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on.
A teenager with the mind of an 8 year old, Ronic is an enthusiastic, energetic, young at heart and a big kid. Always excited about something and always happy, people seem to believe he is never sad.
He is a fun, warm, thoughtful, compassionate and trustworthy individual that likes making new friends. Whomever he meets, he wants to get know and understand them. If they are going through any turmoil in their life, he tries his best to help them the best that he can. He always sees the good in people and the potential in them that they might not see in themselves.
As he has trouble remembering his past, Ronic instead lives for the here, now and for the future. He’s always looking ahead and racing down a brand new, unknown and uncertain path. This makes him very spontaneous and loves anything new, be that a new friend or finding a new place on his travels.
He seizes the day and enjoys every new moment like he has just been born.
But this also makes him very impulsive, reckless and foolish. Rushing head long into things without thinking them through. Always speaking his mind without thinking before he speaks, but that is only because he speaks from his heart.
His naivety goes hand in hand with his mild stupidity, leaving him very scatter-brained and sometimes forgetful. But just because he might not have a lot on his mind, it means that he’s a lot more open minded than others.
Ronic also wears a mask. Not a physical one but an emotional one. As previously mentioned, Ronic seems to be always happy and people believe he is never sad. But if you can get him alone, talk to him and asking the right questions to get him to open up, you’ll find that Ronic is actually hiding how scared, afraid, lonely and sad he truly feels.
He is scared and afraid of being on a brand new world he knows nothing about, knowing no-one on this world, having no-one to help him and of the pressure he feels knowing he has to take on an ancient evil that threatens to destroy the universe. How can the universe expect him to save it, when he doesn’t even know who he is?
Due to losing all of his memories when becoming Ronic, what hurts him in the most is that he doesn’t know who he really is. He doesn’t remember his planet or his family. He doesn’t know where he belongs, as he can no-longer remember where he originally came from. Backstory:
At the beginning of time and the birth of every universe, 3 constants were created that governed existence itself. Chaos, Destruction and Peace. They spread out throughout the blankness of space and became the building blocks to every world in every universe. Chaos created life, destruction created death and peace kept the balance between the two. On many worlds, evolution happened and civilizations rose and fell with these 3 constants ever present.
In the early years of the universe’s creation, the power of each constant grew as their influence spread throughout the universe.
They were given different names by different races and different cultures.
In one universe, an enormous battle took place between the three spirits. Chaos and Destruction fought for their dominion, whereas Peace understood that this universe needed both Destruction and Chaos to exist.
Their battle ended with all three becoming severely weakened and were stripped of their incorporeal forms and became corporal.
The Spirit of Destruction took the form of a gigantic, demonic dragon and was imprisoned within the nearest planet of their battle, a planet called Nede.
The Spirit of Chaos crashed onto the Nede’s surface and fractured, its power splitting into 7 large Gem Stones and 1 larger Gem that would control the smaller 7. They would act as the keys to the lock that imprisoned Destruction and were kept on the furthest side of the planet, out of Destruction’s reach.
The Spirit of Peace also crashed landed on the planet’s surface, taking the form of a white, angelic anthropomorphic hedgehog with large wings.
The inhabitants of Nede, Nedians, found the injured Spirit of Peace lying on their planet’s surface, weakened from the fight.
The Spirit told them that the battle was not over and with time, Destruction would regain it’s strength and break free of his prison and threaten the universe once again. With Chaos now reduced to it’s new state, neither Chaos or Peace would be strong enough to stop him on their own.
The Spirit tasked the Nedians to form a society that would guard the temple of Destruction and create another temple to keep the Master Gem and 7 Gems of Chaos safe, bestowing on them this prophecy.
The prophecy was that when Destruction would re-awaken, a Nedian that embodies the strength and will to bring peace to everyone, would be chosen to become the vessel for the Spirit of Peace. With this, they would have enough power to use Chaos to fight and re-imprison Destruction.
The Spirit of Peace then went into a deep slumber, cocooning itself with a meteorite and flew off into the upper atmosphere of Nede. The Comet of Peace would remain circling the planet until the prophecy came true.
The Nedians gave the Spirits new names. Destruction became Hammon, Chaos became Ataxia and Peace remained.
The Guardians of the Temples of Hammon and Ataxia were given a special name. A name in our language would mean guardian, protector or more specifically, hero. But in Nedian, it was Ronic.
Each Ronic was gifted with a white scarf, whilst different races on the planet would have different colored scarfs. Hedgehog’s being black, birds being green, aquatic creatures being blue etc.
Eventually, the prophecy would come true and Hammon brought destruction across the planet as he awoke from his slumber, finally powerful enough to break free and continue it’s path of destruction.
A wave of destruction washed across the planet and all of Nede gathered at the last known safe space, the Temple of Ataxia.
As the wave grew closer and more powerful, the shield protecting The Temple of Ataxia was destroyed. Everyone feared for their lives. Except one.
One young enough and naïve enough to stand to a god of destruction and that always stood up to bullies. Rody stepped forward, arms out stretched to protect his family and his people.
As Hammon laughed and swung a strike to destroy the feeble creature that stood before him, the Comet of Peace finally came back down to Nede and engulfed Rody.
Rody was transformed and emerged as a taller, older and stronger hedgehog. His brown fur changed to a shiny and nice blue and his scarf from black to white. Rody had finally become a Ronic.
With the 7 Ataxia Gems and Master Ataxia Gem, Rody’s body transformed again to shining yellow and then a shining white, with what some would call angelic, glowing wings. And with the combined power of Ataxia and Peace, was able to save and restore Nede and weaken Hammon.
Unable to destroy him, Hammon was reduced to the form of a tall demonic, anthropomorphic dragon.
Not wanting to be beaten by the Spirit of Peace, Hammon used the Ataxia Gem’s power to open a dimensional rift. The rift sucked in the 7 Ataxia Gems into another dimension before jumping in after them, Hammon vowed that once he obtained the Ataxia Gems, he would not just destroy their universe, but every universe until his full power was restored.
The Spirit of Peace knew it had to leave this universe in order to travel to the other dimension to stop Hammon again. But for Rody, it would mean leaving Nede. Leaving his family.
Without Rody, the Spirit of Peace would still be too weak to fight Hammon. So, Rody agreed to help the Spirit. Not just to protect his family and planet, but every planet in the universe.
Sadly, this would come at a greater price. To make the transformation permanent, the Spirit of Peace would have to wipe Rody’s memories. Everything that made Rody who he was would remain, but he would have no re-collection of his past life. Rody sadly agreed and left Nede with the Spirit of Peace, becoming cocooned into a new comet, a Comet of Peace, to help travel through the universal rift.
On the other side of the dimensional rift was the universe containing Mobius and on one fateful day, a Blue Comet could be seen streaking across the planet’s sky before crashing onto its surface.
Emerging from said comet, a teenage looking blue hedgehog with a long fringe, white scarf, red and white boots and red and grey gloves took his first steps on a new planet.
Coming to the rescue of a bunch of Mobians under attack by Hell Hounds, a demonic large dragon / dog like creature, the scouts of Hammon’s demonic army he creates and controls, the blue hedgehog was asked his name. The blue hedgehog couldn’t remember his name. Only one word. A word that meant hero.
He spoke “Oh…I’m…I’m Ronic. Ronic The Hedgehog”.
Meanwhile, Hammon had also arrived on this planet and being able to sense the 7 Ataxia Gems energy, began to search for them, for they were the key to storing him to his Perfect form.
Unbeknown to both Hammon and Ronic, the dimensional rift that Hammon had created would have ramifications for not just their universe and the universe containing Mobius, but all universes…
Motivation:
To save, protect and help everyone he can. To find the Ataxia Gems, regain his memories, defeat Hammon once and for all and hopefully one day get back to his original home world and his family.
Abilities: The fastest thing alive on his own planet, but not the fastest thing alive on Mobius, Ronic has been gifted with the ability to run at super speed. Except that when Ronic is life-threatening peril or needs to go Plus Ultra to finish a fight, he’ll tap into his ability to travel at the speed of light.
Disappearing in an instant, Ronic takes the form of a blue streak of light and then reappears in a blue flash of light and twinkling, small blue stars around him. He can use it to deal a knock out punch or to save someone from imminent doom.
Forms:
Using his own form of energy known as Ataxia and when in possession of all 7 Ataxia Gems, Ronic is able to transform into Super Ronic, similar to that of Super Sonic.
With the 7 Ataxia Gems and Master Ataxia Gem, he is able to become Angelic Ronic, changing colour into a pure white, with a powerful white aura surrounding him and taking the form of two, large, angelic wings on his back.
Weakness:
The problem being is that Ronic has no full control over this power. He can only tap into it if he or someone else he cares about is in danger.
And even when he does use it, he is physically weaker after using it. He pants, sweats, falls to his knees and even faints or passes out due to the amount of energy it took out of him. It takes him at least a few hours before he has enough energy to use it again.
In short, he is a glass cannon. He is not a fighter and would rather run rings around his enemies than face them in a straight up brawl. He can take a few good licks, but in the long run, he’ll be out for the count in a few powerful punches.
Extra:
He loves corn dogs and can play the acoustic guitar, but that’s a secret so don’t tell anyone, okay? 😉
