This is definitely a ship that I hadn't considered until I starred writing with @shieldagentnatasharomanoff. I had never seen these two interact, of course in the MCU, but also in the comics. I would have never really pictured how they would be in situations together, so never put much thought into them. Arguably, given my own lack of knowledge of any interactions they may have had, I would almost consider it a crackship.

But then I started writing against her Natasha. I saw that sweetness and gentleness, and the way she is with each Stephen she has come to interact with, including my own. And then I started thinking. Huh, these two would probably have a lot in common. I'd say, given the chance to talk, they might be fairly good friends. And then Jan and I really started talking, and discussing the potential for ships, and that was all she wrote. I love the idea of them together, and all of the potential for sweetness that they have, and how could Stephen or I possibly say no?

We respect all sorts of ships in this house, and WidowStrange has quickly become one at the top of the list. I'm so excited to see them grow, and probably end up like Wong and Cherry, in a situation where everyone else knows but them 😆

You know, I got this iron strange idea and I'm going to write about it and I feel like that I want to tell everyone about it

It's actually between Natasha stark and Stephen Strange not tony stark.

Natasha stark is the owner of stark industries, her father never loved her because she is a girl but her mother and loyal butler always supported her.

Her parents,and butler died in 1991 when she was11

She became the CEO when she became 21(in 2001)

In 2001, she got Pregnant because of a one nightstand, and she got her son Peter.

She fell in love with Steve Rogers but she hated him so much in the civil war because of what happened and she moved from the compound and her Maison to a normal big apartment.

She moved to the apartment after what happened In the civil war, Natasha knew she has neighbors but she never met them, she met that hot and handsome as hell, her neighbour, his name is doctor Stephen Strange, while she was in the elevator,she met him and they got locked in the elevator because of some proplems, and as some people call it, love of the Frist sight, the same thing both of them felt, when they got out of the elevator, they already took each others numbers and they went on a date, then a beautiful relationship happened between them, the most thing Natasha loved is that her boyfriend and son are so good and friendly with each others

Sadly one day, nick Fury told her that the rouge will return and she has to return to the compound and live with them....

What if Stephen pick up America in school too so he can meet y/n? And America friends go wild when they see black widow and the wizard in their school. America's friend gets excited about meeting y/n and she asks about WinterWidow because its so popular today among his friends. Stephen's been pissed off about all he's heard lately about WinterWidow haha so he says, "What about StrangeWidow? I think it's pretty cool.” and y/n responded with a giggle “Weird. I prefer WinterWidow."

But matchmaker!America became very excited of seeing this chance "WidowStrange? I think its sounds better. I like this one.” And stephen smile proudly “Smart Kid.”

ahhhh i love this!!! stephen would be all pouty about it but y/n’s just laughing at him the whole time, and of course matchmaker!america has to throw in some hints to both of them lol

What do you think WidowStrange first date will be like?? I don't think they'd go to that fancy restaurant for date. what if they dating like a teenager because our widow lost her childhood time right? I think Stephen is the type to take out fancy restaurants like he does with Christine, but I want him to do things he's never done before with his widow.

The only reason why Nat and Stephen never got to meet over 20+ MCU movies is that it would have been no game for any villain. It took them less than 5 animated minutes to save the freaking multiverse together.

And the only reason why he didn’t choose Tony was that the three of them would have killed Ultron and Killmonger without even stopping to flirt.

Hi, and thank you so much for your question!

As I've repeated a lot of times, I'm totally into ironwidow and ironstrange and I love to analyze the psyche of the characters, especially my favorite ones. Since seeing Tony and Stephen interact in IW and after having known Stephen in Doctor Strange I started to think he had a lot in common with Nat, in a different way from how much he has in common with Tony.

While Tony and Stephen have a similar background, Nat and Stephen present behavioural patterns that often align (trust issues, mysterious aureas and the way they talk to people, relying always on themselves before relying on others....). It might as well be just me projecting on characters who are similar to me, but whatever, that's my reading of them.

I think it's a real shame they never got to meet in the entire MCU (if we ignore What If...?) but that's what fandom is for. I have tons of headcanons about this couple and I've always thought I was the only one who ever thought about them.

But @drstrangefangirl8900 sent me the comic panel I reblogged and another one and following the link I found some edits in the "you may also like" section of that post which is where I reblogged the edits from. Honestly, it makes me just so happy seeing other people liking them! And if any of you know some dark corner of the fandom where ironwidowstrange is popular, let me know =)

I fell into the black hole of Death Note (thanks to an Italian YouTuber who does commentaries on movies and tv series), which reads as “I’m devouring the thing every free moment I get” — it helps the episodes are like less than 20 minutes each.
