Animal drawing dump

Another collection of animal drawings.

I’m learning a lot of new things  :0 I haven’t really done much anatomy study (I should). Instead I just spend every free time I have observing them. (10 minutes before and after bed. They are my new therapy) Anyhow, here are some doodles, and images from videos after the cut:

Nene the gorilla. She’s in her 50s (= 80s in human years) tried to simplify her shape in the first image.

Thinking about how Sir Haydn (Sir Handel's basis) was made by taking the best parts of the three original Falcons that ran the Corris Railway...

I don't think this happened for Sir Handel in the RWS or the TV series, but just imagine the story potential of Sir Handel also being an amalgamation of engines.

Obviously there's been more than enough instances where engines are overhauled or simply have parts replaced, but I think being an amalgamation might work a bit differently. Rather than simply getting new parts that were never associated with another engine, multiple sentient beings are being whittled down to one.

If Sir Handel were reconstructed from the parts of three other engines, would he be a new consciousness entirely? Or was he also one of the original "Falcons"? How would that have been? Knowing that your two other siblings, whom you've worked with since birth, would be sacrificed to make you a "better" engine? Would Sir Handel remember? Would he choose to forget? To forget how he alone was selected out of his siblings to live? Would he find comfort in the fact that they would live on forever as parts of him? On the other hand, what if Sir Handel hated his siblings? Knowing now that he can never be free from them because of what he himself is made of?

#spielzeugkaiser talks #to be completely honest - there is not much difference #my body is deteriorating #migraine is baddd #but so far I'm handling it! #I'm a bit worried because I'll be working full time again from next week on and that means drastically less time to rest #as long as I'm always one step ahead (organization wise) I'm still capable of acting and don't go into simple reaction mode #like doing prep now writing papers now getting stuff now done so I can pull them out of my desk in autum and winter when I need them #but I also need good grades and think about if I want to do a doctorate and study and publish and start to design a study #and decide on a topic and finish the things that are already running and go on congresses and juggle all three jobs without dropping one #and why is it all so expensiveee I'm a fool #but also do the MAIN job right #uff uff #also I really should do more sport to help with the migraines and the overall pain level #oh well #so far I'm doing good! stressed but I'm currently managing it #I would enjoy a break - I fought for it on all fronts and got one in October but maybe I can take three days off in August to go hiking #or something like that! that would be nice #sorry for the rant 😅 #I used this to organize my thoughts for a moment; now that it's written down it's better and out of the head! #my body is bad overall but my mood not - I do believe that I can do it :) It just won't be nice at times 😂😅🙈
