Okay... So I owe you an analysis. Honestly this is so much and obsessive so read this at your own risk.

I'll focus on who added what songs. The narrative in my head had them passing around the phone in the car so its in sections.

But first... The first song on the playlist is Bakugo! by KVMIL. I realize this makes no sense... Don't worry about it... I'm pretending Jiro wrote it as a joke project and that bakusquad added it. Don't think about it...

Okay. Section 1 is Mina being the one whose idea it was to make the playlist in the first place. This is songs 2 (WAP)- 18 (Backyard boy). Honestly I don't think I should have to explain these decisions... I mean... come on. But the idea was based off of like 2021 tiktok music and stuff she would dance to bc my girl Is A Dancer.

Section 2 is Denki being the accomplice to Mina's evil plans. Songs 19 (Electric Love)-40 (Toxic). Again I shouldn't have to explain this. Similar idea to Mina but I just think Denki is a bisexual man with the music taste of a pop loving lesbian. He's just having fun.

Next the phone is passed to Sero. Section 3 is Songs 41 (Bonfire)-49 (short kings anthem). I think he's a hip-hop boy with a sense of humor.

For Section 4 MIna's phone is shoved into the reluctant hands of Katsuki. He does add songs because despite home he acts, he loves his friends and lets them bully him into things. He adds 50 (Molly)-57 (Peace Sign) yes this song is from the mha anime but shh no its not. His section was actually pretty hard for me bc I had no idea what type of music he would like but after looking through other peoples playlists for inspo and new songs for myself, I came across Feel Good Inc. by Gorillaz and everything became clear! lol. His section is music he practices drums to (bc our boy is a musician) as well as a few he trains to. I don't know how to describe this section but its my favorite one.

Our 5th Section is Kirishima! This is songs 58 (THE BADDEST)-66 (HOLUP!). YOU LITERALLY CANNOT CONVINCE ME THAT KIRISHIMA EIJIRO DOESN'T LISTEN TO K-POP/K-HIPHOP!! HE IS WORKING OUT TO THIS SHIT! I DO NOT ACCEPT CRITISISM ON THIS ONE.

Section 6 is Ochako. She adds songs 67 (Everybody Talks)- 79 (Are You Bored Yet?). I don't know how to explain the vibes of this section but I think she'd low key be a 5sos girl. I'm not but I just get that vibe. Also the K-pop is back <3 I think Izuku and Ochako are stans together. Especially of Twice (kpop group not LOV member) and BTS. Again, I just have a feeling.

So fittingly with the way their tastes mix, next is Izuku. Songs 81 (Filter) - 91 (Hikarunara). Look his entire section except the first song is anime OSTs. Look me in the eyes and tell me I'm wrong... Yeah that's what I thought. He's a nerd.

Now Section 8 is for Shoto but he didn't make it himself... let me explain. He refused to add his own music but Ochako knows him and playfully put him on blast as the emo he is. So 92 (Teenagers)- 96 (I Write Sins Not Tragedies). What Shoto didn't know is that his friends are actually supportive!! Which is why once Eijiro heard what was in this section, Mina's phone ended up right back in his hands for Kiri's section Part 2.

Have you ever heard of the Pop Punk to K-pop pipeline? Because its real and I was victim to it (and so was Kiri). Listen, his emo phase in middle school is literally canon, He confirmed it himself when they did the room tours. So Songs 97 (Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time) - 101 (Check Yes, Juliet) are added as tribute to middle school Eijiro.

The next section is actually just 1 song and it's Iida's. I don't think he's big into music but the group was pressuring him so he added a song he came across before that he liked. Run by Rainbow Kitten Surprise (This was my top song of that year and one of my all time favorite artists) Also it's funny that Iida's only song choice is called run. Let me have my dumb joke.

Last Section! It's actually everybody's. The idea was that to wrap it all up, the whole car shouted out some classic road trip songs that everyone would like. So 103 (Rasputin) - 108 (Sweet Child O' MIne).

6 hours of auditory chaos and I do not apologize.

If you were paying attention, you would have 2 questions:

First: Where is Tsuyu's section? She doesn't have one! I think she didn't want to add anything and no matter how chaotic the group is, no one is allowed to be mean to Tsuyu. It's just a rule.

Second: Didn't you skip track 80? Yes I did. This song has been moved from it's adder's section out of shame to be hidden amongst the songs of the softest in the group so it isn't suspicious, but if you pay attention to the lyrics, the culprit may become clear to you. Track 80 is Line Without A Hook by Ricky Montgomery.

I want to start with the playlist of mine that has gotten the most attention and i might be the most proud of: my bkdksquad roadtrip playlist. when i tell you the need to make this playlist overtook me like i was possessed its not a joke. There is so much i want to say about this so i swear i will make a full analysis of this like 5 hour monstrosity but heres the quick summary.

Passengers: Midoriya Izuku, Bakugo Katsuki, Uraraka Ochaco, Ashido Mina, Kirishima Eijiro, Kaminari Denki, Sero Hanta, Iida Tenya, Asui Tsuyu, and Todoroki Shoto.

Concept: They are on a long ass roadtrip (they are going hiking lol) and there was no way in hell Mina was going tuneless. Basically everyone added to the queue. (and if every song happens to be my personal taste thats none of your business lol.)

I could never explain it, but I think you were already mourning the loss of me before you gave me the chance to leave... It doesnt seem out of character.

I love that song and i listen to it often. And though the lyrics mostly dont apply, I hear our broken hearts in it.

"I'm trying to feel my world expanding, like none of it was built around you" but although I've changed my life, I dont really think it's expanded beyond the fundamentals of you. You still make up a sizable chunk of who I am and I selfishly hope its the same for you.

Okay so right off the bat i want to talk about the cover art i chose for this playlist. The painting is titled "Another attempt to escape" by russian artist Maksim Krapht. I went searching for a piece of art that was similar to astral projection but not in a third eye opening kind of way. I wanted something calm and a little sad. Not a search for meaning but a surrender. I came across one of Krapht's pieces. I can't remember which but i was immediately drawn to the emotion behind it. The style was gorgeous and delicate so i decided to look into more of their art and eventually found this one. If you like this piece i recommend looking into the rest they have to offer.

If i had to describe the vibe of this one in a few words it would be 'night', 'reverberation', and 'soul'... but I am not a women of few words.

Admittedly this playlist is a bit short and it's not finished but i see no reason not to share it now. It gets me out of panic attacks while at the same time allowing me the space to feel my sadness and we all deserve that. Our sadness is not our enemy and she should be respected and cradled. I think i am at my truest when i lie in the darkness and let myself feel. This is not to say my brain never lies to me, it does. but my spirit doesn't. The darkness is what allows us to see the stars when they shine.

I hope you give it a listen, I think the musicians who created these pieces wanted to share the peace of accepting our sadness and acknowledging the empty space where something used to be.
