I contributed a couple of post-it collages to the expo organised by coupee.org! It’s a project celebrating World Collage Day with about 3.000 post-its made by artists all over the world. They’ll be on view at De Krook until the 23rd of May. I accidentally deleted all the photos I took of mine apart from this one, so a visit to De Krook is the only way to see the ones I made, oops.

I’m currently taking a course in Flemish Sign Language and I love postcards, so when VGT leren announced a Valentine’s card drawing competition, I knew I had to participate 💌 This is the sign for “connected”. I didn’t win, but I’m still happy with how it turned out and I loved seeing all the other submissions! The winning card is super nice too so make sure to check that out 👀

A friend asked for a birthday card, but I knew it wouldn’t arrive on time. So I sent him some spam instead. Text on the back was inspired by a questionable message I received in my own mailbox, including the wonky spelling and grammar.

When travelling through NZ my boyfriend and I spent some time working at a vineyard. On a day off I sat down with my sketchbook to draw something I don’t usually draw - machines! This one was near our campsite; we were staying at a packing facility close to the vineyard that had its own campground for all the backpackers passing through.

Reading: I tend to keep starting new books, so atm I'm reading: - Mixing Work with Pleasure - Starting Point 1979-1996 (like I said, Ghibli binge) - The Lies of Locke Lamora (audiobook) - Climax Club - Duurzaam Tuinieren (‘Sustainable Gardening’) - De Komst van Joachim Stiller (‘The Coming of Joachim Stiller’, a reread of a favourite) I haven't picked up those last three in a while, but I'm not ready to give them up just yet.

Craving: lindy hop social dance. I want to dance my feet off somewhere other than my living room 💃
