However, when I learned of the project, there was a solidified determination to pull her from the back burner of my plans into the forefront, and I feverishly worked to sew this costume in four days. Pride month is very special to me. I have four close family members who are part of the LGBTQ+ community, one who came out recently to me, and so I’m determined to support them and represent that love is love and that they are accepted. My main motivation to sew this costume was to support them and the rest of the community. 🏳️‍🌈Cosplay Pride: Day 15, Pic 2🏳️‍🌈 . . While many of her relationships have been with men, Psylocke is portrayed as also having romantic and sexual attraction to women. While romantically involved with the character Fantomex, he was split into three separate people in separate bodies in Uncanny X-Force issues 7-9. The "good" male persona continued using the name Fantomex. The female persona took the name Cluster. Psylocke continued her relationship with Fantomex, and later with Cluster, laying the groundwork for what many consider to be the first mainstream polyamorous relationship in comics. With this revelation, Psylocke can also be interpreted as bisexual/biromantic. This is important because it illustrates that a person's attractions do not have to be dictated by past experiences; just because you've always been attracted to men doesn't mean that you can't be attracted to women going forward. . . After a couple of cosplayers couldn't make it last minute, he jumped in and offered to do whatever was needed. Sentinelbait had started making the costume, and turned it over to Redfury to use in order to get more cosplayers involved in more of the shoots. This was the kind of dedication and willingness to help that I saw across the board in this project.
