Much like the movie-resembling Breyer models of Spirit and Rain, another humongous Spirit grail of mine was literally ANY of the Jemini plushes of Spirit! Though I wasn’t aware of the specific brand at the time, I’ve known of the existence of these plush since about the time the film came out. We were getting internet for the first time around the same time, and as a 10 year old horse OBSESSEE, I wanted to see EVERYTHING in regards to Spirit! Never once did I think I would actually achieve these plush, much less two of them, but now with access to friends in other countries, this is happily the reality I live in! For anyone who maybe isn’t familiar, Jemini made quite a few plushes for the Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron film! Spirit and Rain each had a large plush, maybe 25” long and wide both. Spirit had a pajama case plush (the ones in my photos are BOTH the pajama case plush - one of them is in mint condition and sits on display, I cuddle the other and smell him up with essential oils in his mane!) Esperanza (Spirits mom) also had a plush, slightly smaller than the pajama case plush. I presume Rain and Spirit were made in this size as well. Spirit and Rain also both had a poseable standing plush (maybe about the size of the Esperanza plush), those are a bit rarer. Spirit, Rain and Esperanza also each had a smaller plush, presumably about the size of a beanie baby. There was also a jemini Spirit mini plush, sold with UK and European copies of the film on VHS and DVD. I believe they also made a plush of the eagle! All in all, you’d probably be hard pressed to find someone who won’t agree, that the Jemini Spirit plushes are the best ones out there. I’m very proud to own some! Two 1996 Disney Store plushes of Dodger from Oliver and Company! ♥️ The one on the left is my cuddle plush, he’s been modified to look more like how he does in the film (I trimmed the fur around his chin to shorten it). The right one sits on display and is mostly unaltered! One thing I did to both was I put a stitch between their ears to keep them from flopping around. This plushes ears are HUGE and them being loose drove me crazy! Sentimentally though, he’s definitely my favorite Dodger plush. ♥️

Author’s Note: My first-ever Tumblr fic (ah! please be nice!) so open to suggestions, requests, and feedback. I watched The Little Mermaid (2023) and fell in love with Jonah Hauer-King’s portrayal of Prince Eric, the layers of backstory added to his character, and of course, his stunning chemistry with Halle Bailey as Ariel!

This is my take on what Eric’s life might have been like - before and after he met Ariel. I loved Grimsby as a character, especially his relationship with Eric, so there are some ideas of what it might have been like for the two of them together during Eric’s childhood. I’ve only seen the movie once in theaters, so some of the quotes are loosely based on my memory and might not be 100% in accordance with the script. My favorite hunting dog. ♥️

This is a legit and very rare plush of Copper from Disney’s The Fox and The Hound, as an adult. These were sold exclusively in the United Kingdom in 1994-95, and also yes, there is a matching Tod. I don’t have him yet, but Copper is my favorite, so it’s all good. A lot of people are critical of his big snout and his sleepy eyes, but I think he’s charming. Copper is also my favorite character of the two, so that helps his cause as far as I’m concerned.

Not for sale or trade. Ever. Happy hunting though!
