It's Almost Chuuya Appreciation Day...

Chuuya's birthday is soon, and in celebration, I am probably going to post a bunch of Chuuatsu on his birthday. Still quietly collecting prompts (I take requests and they are open!) and working on my backlog, but here are some things you can all look forward to:

Opinions or hc on Aku x Chuuya? (I don't see too much on it lol)

It's been on my list (actual, not metaphorical) to write for months! But as the "idea" person, I find myself never getting around to it. My whole fic involved Aku getting drunk at a work party (head canon that it doesn't take much) and trying to kiss Chuuya, then having gay panic for 90% of the rest of the fic.

I tend to read Chuuya as someone who encourages his peers, so I'd like to think he could help Akutagawa realize how awful Dazai was to him in the Port Mafia. Granted, I'm not caught up on the manga and have only watched four seasons of the anime. XD But if from there Akutagawa could move past his borderline obsession for Dazai, it would be fun to see them bond as friends or something else.

Fluffy head canons as a bonus: even though Chuuya is shorter, he's still the big spoon when they cuddle. He also definitely buys Akutagawa figs on a regular basis.

Having More Abyss x Abel Thoughts...

Note: Part of this comes from discord convos from someone who HCs Abyss as nonbinary (yes we have one nonbinary Mashle character yes, but what about second nonbinary Mashle character?).

Ahem.

Abyss learning they're nonbinary (maybe they/him with strong preference for they) through conversations with Margarette.

Abyss freaking out about how Abel will perceive them.

Abel making a conscious effort to learn more, affirm Abyss's gender, and continue dating them.

Abyss being depressed because graduation means they won't get to live with Abel anymore.

Abel inviting them to continue living together anyway post-graduation.

And finally... a little spicy but still not NSFW enough to warrant a tag, I don't think... Abel affirming Abyss's gender during spicy time. When Abyss panics and starts to say they have a man's body, Abel breaks in with, "You are who you say you are, but if you ever decide to call yourself a man, then I'll love this body just the same."

I don’t know why, but suddenly, the idea of Abel calling kissing Abyss “real magic” gives me the dumbest brainrot ever and I had to put it somewhere. Like it’s out of character probably, but considering Abel’s sense of goodness and Abyss’s cursed eye, it would mean so much. Like it’s the only magic Abyss’s eye can’t nullify because it’s just too strong, and if that’s not adorable, I don’t know what is.

They said I could be anything…

So I became a queer, neurodivergent, life form who deals with trauma by taking that gay fluffy thing (Cherry Magic) and mashed it together with that other gay(?) thing (BSD) to make an even dumber gayer fluffier thing.

And yes, I used the ships that have (at least in the past) made people mad: my old reliable Chuuatsu and the equally reliable Odazai. Also it’s nearly 25,000 words! Ahahaha I’m so completely normal!

Since I am that rando on the internet who will occasionally scream about details, can we just TALK about how well Cherry Magic episode 11 used Adachi and Kurosawa’a reflection in the window? Like there was so much significance in the way Adachi grabbed Kurosawa’s hand. The whole angle of that scene HAS ME IN A CHOKEHOLD.
